Aoi looked around,then back at her map and sighed.She was lost,again.She quickly glanced around and smiled,she should be close to a town."I should be abled to battle,or at least get some directions there."she said,looking at Chimchar and Umbreon.

Joey began to stretch out before he began to train his pokemon. He had only two, so his gym battles were pretty easy. He looked over at Vulpix and his first pokemon Pikachu. Both were like his children. He started to worry when no trainers had shown up.

Aoi grinned,finally finding her way out of the forest.She looked at her pokemon and took out their pokeballs,returning them.She started walking again,seeing a town not too far away.She sped up a little,wanting to battle someone soon.

Joey sighed and Vulpix ran near him. "Vul?" she asked as she tossed her head to the side. He stared at her for a second and smiled. Vulpix knew that he was bored, heck everyone knew that he was bored.

After reaching the town,and asking a random person where the gym was,Aoi was standing outside the gym grinning.She looked around and decided to just walk inside,so she walked in and looked around,hoping to find the leader somewhere.

Joey got off the ground when he heard footsteps walk into the gym. "You must be a trainer," he said. By the looks of the girl she was. His pikachu ran closer to him.

Aoi smiled and nodded."Yep,and I can't wait to battle!Are you the gym leader?"she asked.She looked at the boy,and then at his Pikachu.

Joey nodded. "The name's Joey," he said, smiling, "You already seen my pikachu and here's my vulpix." He picked up the small vulpix and Vulpix cuddled in his arms.

Aoi smiled."I'm Aoi."she said,letting her pokemon out,"And these two are my Chimchar and Umbreon!"Chimchar grinned,saying"Char!" Umbreon looked up at Joey,then at Aoi.

"Let's battle. Winner of two battles wins," Joey said, looking over her pokemon. They didn't look too hard.

Aoi nodded."Alright."she said.She,Chimchar,and Umbreon were actually very experienced,and won almost every battle.

Joey headed out onto the battle grounds and waited for Aoi. He hadn't battle anyone lately.

Aoi walked out after him,grinning.Chimchar and Umbreon followed after her,ready to fight.

Joey sent Vulpix out to fight first. He decieded to mix up the battle routine.

Aoi sent Umbreon to fight.She knew this wouldn't be easy,but she intended to win.

Joey smirked slightly. He turned his head to the side sharply and let Vulpix take care of the fight on her own.

"Umbreon!Tackle!"Aoi called.Umbreon did as he was commanded,the yellow rings on his body glowing.

Vulpix dodged it swiftly and tackled Umbreon.

Aoi flinched slightly.Once Umbreon got away,she called "Quick attack!"

"Vulpix dodge now," Joey called once he heard the attack.

"Umbreon,double team!"Aoi said.Umbreon did as it was told,making ten other Umbreons appear.

Joey flinched slightly as he watched ten other Umbreon's appear.

Aoi smirked."Faint attack!"she called.Umbreon did as told.

Vulpix was hit with the attack and was knocked out of the feild. "Vulpix," Joey shouted and he ran over. He safely put Vulpix in her pokeball.

"Good job Umbreon.Return."Aoi said,returning Umbreon to his pokeball."Chimchar.You're up."she said,looking at Chimchar,who had made his way onto the field.

Pikachu waddled onto the feild and Joey smirked slightly as he walked over.

Aoi smiled."Chimchar,scratch!"she called."Char!"Chimchar said,starting the attack.

"Pikachu dodge and the lightning," Joey called.

"Dig!"Aoi called,hoping that Chimchar could do it in time to dodged the lightning.

"Pika!" Pikachu cried when he released his lightning attack, hitting Chimchar.

Aoi flinched as Chimchar was hit.Chimchar came out of the hole,looking pretty beat up,but he was still strong."Flamethrower!"Aoi called.Chimchar did as he was told,aiming it at Pikachu.

Pikachu quickly dodged the flames.

"Flame wheel!"Aoi called.The flame on Chimchar's tail grew,and he started the attack.

Pikachu did lightning again out of habit and hit Chimchar.

Chimchar's flames deflected most of the attack,but he still got shocked a little.Aoi flinched and called out "Ember!"

"Swift attack Pikachu," Joey called out. Pikachu did the attack almost hitting Chimchar.

"Dodge it!Then use Fire spin!"Aoi shouted.Chimchar dodged Pikachu's attack and started his own attack.

Pikachu landed on the ground, smoking slightly. Joey called him back into his pokeball.

Aoi smiled a little.Chimchar looked beaten up because of the lightning attacks,but he smiled.Aoi called him back to his own pokeball."Good job."she said,as she put his pokeball back into the place on her belt.

Joey put up his pokeballs and got the badge she needed. He walked over to her and put it in her hand. "I believe this is yours," he said smiling, "You fought good."

Aoi grinned."Thanks.You're a great battler too!"She said,putting the badge in her case.She had three badges now.

"I still have to train Pikachu and Vulpix," Joey said, "But thanks."

Aoi nodded."Well,I have to go to the pokemon center.Chimchar is beat up,and it's getting dark out now."she said,starting to walk out.

"Come back tommorrow if you're still in town!" Joey called after waving slightly.

"Yeah,I'll do that."Aoi said,waving.She smiled and walked away in the direction of the pokemon center.She made sure to memorise where all the buildings and things were.She could get lost almost anywhere.

Joey sat on the ground messing with his pokeballs, letting the two pokemon out.

Aoi reached the pokemon center and walked inside.She looked around,and walked up to the front desk where Nurse Joy was.She took Chimchar's pokeball and said,"I just had a battle with the gym leader,Joey,and my chimchar is injured slightly."
