Oh, I fell apart alright. I couldn't stop crying for weeks. I went into depression. I hurt myself, but stopped for my friends' sakes (plus I didn't really want to be murdered by all my friends). I looked dead because I could never get to sleep (my friends made it a daily routine to make sure I knew I knew how bad I looked). I still haven't gotten all the way over it. I've just been around my mom's boyfriend a lot so I'm used to him. Plus my dad is starting to date again. All I'm really worried about is moving. I want to move to live with my mom (who's about an hour away), but I want to graduate with my friends.

Well, bass is easier than guitar, if you play a four - string, it's definitely easier. The strings aren't as sharp. If you plan on learning bass, you should take lessons. It helps if you ever want to be in a band. Bass players don't normally use a lot of chords either. Which is a very, very good thing! If you end up taking lessons, make sure you practice, practice, practice if you want to advance to harder things quickly. If you have friends that play regular guitar, ask them to play with you. Bass isn't a good instrument to played by itself. Also, bass can literally control the speed/tempo of a song. So, when you're playing a concert, and you think the others are going to fast, you have the power to make it slower. And lastly, have fun with it!

I find it hard to rank them but overall i'd say my favorite band is Slayer as they made my favorite ever album (the one and only Reign In Blood) but high on the list also are Metallica, Nile, Primordial, Immortal, Satyricon, Emporer, Mayhem, Cannibal Corpse, Immolation, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Marduk, Darkthrone, Destroyer 666, Judas Priest, Sepultura, Death, Deicide, Hammerfall, Enslaved, Gorgoroth, Obituary, Morbid Angel, Nocturnal Graves and Xasthur.

Ummm.... I have. It used to be my favorite band, but my taste in music changed greatly. I still love metal though, just not as much as Hardhouse, Techno, Goa Trance, etc. Chilren of Bodom is a great band, I listen to them quite often still. My favorite song of theirs would have to be either..... Angels Don't Kill, Downfall, or Touch Like and Angel of Death.

I listen to alot of different metal genres. My favorite metal genre is Death Metal, I actually like pretty much any metal though. Hell, I actually like pretty much any kind of music.
