Kion scanned the in coming crowd of freshmen. They seemed to get smaller since he got there. He sighed and returned to his group of friends.

Khris was nervous but was trying to be calm. The school was biiiiiig.....

Kion glanced over at a nervous looking freshmen and walked over to him. "Welcome to S&P University," he said, smiling gently.

[~Haruka~]

"Thanks." Khris told, smiling a bit. Truth be told - he wanted to get back outside, take his shirt off and ride his skateboard all the way home. He picked at the black paint on his nails (his gall pall's idea) and looked around more.

"My name's Kion. What's your name?" Kion asked looking back at his friends and smiling.

"Khris." he told simply, smiling a bit still.

"That's a nice name," Kion said turning back around.

"Thanks." he said simply, twirling his skateboard in his hands.

"Show me some moves," Kion said, looking at the skateboard.

"H-huh?" Khris asked, blinking. That was a first.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"Do you skate?" Kion asked, pointing to the board.

[~Haruka~]

"Yeah," Khris said, hesitently.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"You don't have to if you don't want to. I'm trying to be friendly," Kion said smiling.

[~Haruka~]

"No - I know it just that no one's ever asked that before." he told, trying to explain without feeling stupid. He failed that one.. in his opinion.

"Well find me sometime and give me a little showing sometime. I'm in dorm 233," Kion said, walking away.

Khris blushed a bit. "Wow." he said simply. If he wasnt nervous before, he was now. Was everyone like that? Whoa....

Kion joined his group of friends occasionly looking back at Khris.

Khris hung around with a few of his friends. He smiled and laughed a few times. One time, he was blushing brightly, eyes widened as a skater or goth girl was talking. The group laughed and he kept blushing.

"I'll see you guys later," Kion said, "Gotta get to my room before my roommate."

Now it was the girl that was blushing while Khris laughed. They finally got their dormroom numbers and Khris was down the hall from Kion (he assumed). Khris was in 229.

Kion looked down the hall to notice Khris. He waved and went into his room.

Khris waved and got settled into his room. Later that night, a few of his friends and him snuck out. Khris was just in his jeans, no shirt, no shoes, no bracelets, just a necklace.

Kion laid on his bed, staring at the ceiling. He heard footsteps running past his door and he got up. He opened it slightly.

"We're so dead if we get cought!" the girl, Emily, hissed. She was in a tank top and short shorts. She looked as if she was going to go to bed. She had her skateboard and Khris laughed softly. "That's the point, Em!" he told, jumping a few stairs silently.

Kion shook his head and stepped back inside his dorm. The freshmen could get in trouble if they wanted to.

Khris was on his skateboard, thrilled and grinning. He never looked so free. This was his freedom - his passion. And he was good at it. One wrong move on any of those tricks and he'd easily be dead or in the hospital.

Kion laid back on his bed and stared at the ceiling. The only thing he was good at was drawing and writing. The creative things.

And, amazingly, it wasnt Khris that messed up - it was Emily. She fell, messing up her leg. All her friends ceased, rushing to her side. It was obvious that she was biting back screams.

Kion sighed and went to check on the freshmen quietly. He carried his cell phone on him and looked down the stairs.

"It's ok, Em - you'll be ok," Dante, another friend, soothed as he trailed Khris, who was carrying Emily. "Dude - shut up. Just help me get her to her room!" Khris snapped quietly.

"Hey do you guys need any help?" Kion asked in a hushed tone watching the group.

"I need to get to the infirmary. Where is it?" Khris asked, handing Emily to Dante.

Kion nodded and headed off in the direction of the infirmery glancing behind him to make sure they were following him.

Everyone was. Several of his friends went to clean up the blood and to collect the skateboards. It was obvious that it wasnt the first time they've done something like that.

Kion opened the door to the infirnermy and let the group in.

[~Haruka~]

"Easier than expected." Dante mused and Khris nodded, going toward rubbing alchohol and gause. He also got a wooden stick. "Em - bite down." he told. It was obvious he was the medic of the group.

Kion helped the boy carrying the girl who got injured get her onto a bed.

Emily took the stick and bit down, used to the pain already but that didnt stop the tears from falling down. Khris poured the alochol down her leg and she clenched her eyes shut. "Sorry Em." Khris told, frowning.

Kion didn't know what to do, so he held onto her hand.

[~Haruka~]

He might have regreated it when she started holding onto it tighter then heck.

"How could y'all do this?" Kion asked in the same hushed tone.

[~Haruka~]

"Skate boarding outside. She did a wrong move in mid-air, causing her to misjudge how she should land." Khris stated without really meaning too. It was off the top of his head as he fixed up her leg.

Kion shook his head and looked at Khris. Why was a feeling all these new emotions.

[~Haruka~]

Khris bandgaged up her leg. "Alright, c'mon. We're done for a while." he told and Emily rolled her eyes. "I'm fine." she protested. "Ok." Khris told, letting her go. She squeeled, falling flat on her face. "You're ok, huh?" he asked and she flipped him off. "No thanks."

Kion smiled and helped her up. "I won't tell a soul if you all promise never to do that again," he said sternly.

"Not for a while." she grumbled. Khris laughed. "Me - I cant agree to that." he told, shrugging with a smile.

"Freshmen all the same," Kion mumbled.

Khris laughed softly. "You've never met someone like me." he assured, taking Emily and smiling at him before waving and leaving with Dante.

Kion smiled and went back to his dorm.

Khris walked into his first class, wearing a shirt that time. And his wristband and bracelets. His necklace was hidden and he was quite comfortable in his Converses.

Kion quickly changed and ran off to his first class. He was wearing his black knee length pants and a black shirt and comfertable Jordan's.

Khris's pants fitted every part of his legs so he could go skating later and not screw up because of baggy pants. The blue/black haired boy paid attention to the teacher, not really 'there'.

Kion stared at the teacher, not actually listening to her. His mind was on Khris, who he couldn't get out of his mind.

Khris was absently drawing. Who... he didnt know. Until he looked down. Kion?! He rolled his eyes lightly and turned the page.

When the bell rang, Khris was the first boy to fly out of the room, heading right for his locker.

Kion stared at his locker and then looked down the hall at Khris. He smiled and walked over to him.

Khris pulled out his skateboard and his backpack, not noticing Kion.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"Hey Khris," Kion said softly, "How's your friend? The one that got injured?"

[~Haruka~]

"She's ok. Emily." he informed of her name, smiling. "Lots of pain med and prying her away from her skateboards. ALL of them." he laughed.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"That's good to here," Kion said, "So you're going to skateboard today?"

[~Haruka~]

"Today? Better make that 'every day'." Khris laughed, closing his locker and jogging toward the doors.

"Can I watch you?" Kion asked following him.

[~Haruka~]

"Go ahead!" Khris said, smiling behind him as he fully ran out.

Kion smiled and ran out with Khris.

There was already a bunch of kids skating around so Khris tossed his skateboard onto the ground and jumped on it, skating down the road with a smile.

Kion sat on the grass and watched him.

Khris stopped at a random spot, put his backpack down and took his shirt off, tossing it asside. He picked up his board, ran to the first area he saw. Khris jumped into the air, slid his skateboard under his feet and landed, going down the curved area and having fun while he was at it. To him - it was simple. To others, it was amazing. It just depended on who was watching.

Kion smiled as he stared at Khris's bare chest and then at the tricks he was doing.

Emily wanted to cry. She was banned from doing the thing she loved for a while. But she'd get over it.

Khris waved at Emily and she cracked a smile.

Kion smiled as he watched the other.

Everyone else was doing tricks in mid air, tricks on the ground and goodness knows what else.

Kion found himself keeping his eyes on Khris, not knowing the feelings sweeping over him.

Khris let loose, enjoying himself. He pulled dangerous tricks in the air and landed with the grin he always had as if it was nothing at all. Emily was shouting things like: be careful, oh my God - are you ok, and other things.

Kion got up and leaned against a tree, still watching Khris.

"Shut up and do your homework!" Khris shouted, good natured as he did a 360 in air. "I DID!" she shouted back, flipping him off. "THAT'S DANTE'S JOB!" The look on her face....

Kion smiled as he looked over at Emily and back at Khris. They seemed to get along alright.

"It is not!" she shouted back while Khris had to stop, he was laughing so hard. Even Emily was laughing a bit but Dante was reeeeeeed.

Kion chuckled lightly looking at Khris.

Khris fell back, laughing so hard he was crying. "Ow." was all he said, but was still laughing. The rest of the gang was too.

Kion walked away and headed to his dorm.

The gang didnt go inside till at least 3 in the morning. That's when they were nearly cought, them running like hell.

Kion laid on his bed and fell asleep.

Khris was out as soon as his head hit the pillow.

Kion yawned the next morning and woke up. He didn't want to go to class, so he decieded to skip.

Khris went like a good boy and just decided to not pay attention, writing down his creations through the day. At the end, it was like a routine, go out and skate.

Kion walked outside and looked at the people skating. He ran his fingers through his messy hair and went and sat on the grass.

Khris was in the process of doing a trick when he messed up on the footing. He attemted to correct it but messed up there too. With a shout, the fell flat onto his back on the very hard concrete.

Kion noticed this and started to run to him. "Khris," he said reaching the other boy.

[~Haruka~]

"OW! D4mn that huuuurt!" he grumbled, not wanting to move yet. He hit his head on the concreate as well. "I'll go get the nurse!" Dante shouted, running for the school.

Kion scooped Khris up and followed Dante into the school.

[~Haruka~]

"Ow, ow, ow, ow!" Khris said, having scratches and gashes all down his back.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

Kion slowed down and redjusted Khris in his arms.

"That's better." he told, hanging onto Kion. He was suprisingly light...

"Be glad I came out when I did to carry you," Kion said, putting him on his stomach on the nurse's bed.

[~Haruka~]

"I could've walked." Khris told, but smiled his thanks up at Kion.

Kion lifted Khris's shirt up and looked at the scratches he had recieved.

[~Haruka~]

Deep scratches and cuts lined his back and it was bruising quickly. There was more cut, gashed and bruised skin then not.

Kion held the shirt up for the nurse while she doctored it. He wanted to have Khris well.

[~Haruka~]

Khris hiss and moaned in discomfor every so often but, other than that, he was quiet.

With his free hand Kion took Khris's hand. He put the shirt down when the nirse told him to.

"I'm not making that mistake again. Ow." Khris grumbled to himself.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"I won't let you," Kion said getting on his knees.

[~Haruka~]

"Eh. Mistakes happen. Although I've done that trick before. Tons of times. Why'd I mess up?" he asked himself, pushing himself up to sit on his knees. He looked thoughtful.

Kion looked at the younger boy and sat up closer to him. "Will you go out with me Khris?" he asked nervously.

[~Haruka~]

Khris snapped back to reality. "Huh?" he asked, wondering if he heard things.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"Will you go out with me Khris?" Kion repeated.

[~Haruka~]

"You're not kidding," Khris half asked, half observed.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"I'm not and this isn't some senior prank," Kion said quietly, "Just answer me."

[~Haruka~]

"Maybe." Khris didnt know weather to say 'yes' or 'no'. He didnt feel like getting his heart shattered again. He got up, despite the pain, and ran from the room.

"Khris," Kion called after him. He took off running after him again. He grabbed onto an arm and pulled him close.

[~Haruka~]

Khris hissed in pain when he had his arm grabbed. There was a few other bruises from a few fights he was in and some mess ups in the park. He slowly cought up on everything else as the pain fell away.

"Khris let's talk about it okay?" Kion said gently moving down his arm to reached his hand.

[~Haruka~]

"O-ok." he agreed, still not 'there' all the way yet. But he was getting there.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"Have you been hurt in the emotion department?" Kion asked. He wanted to know everything about this new boy.

[~Haruka~]

"Several times." Khris answered softly, gently holding his arm.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"Let's go to the cafeteria you can tell me everything," Kion said quietly. He lead Khris to the cafeteria and sat down in a place where there was no one else.

[~Haruka~]

"Ummmm o-ok." Khris hesitently agreed.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"Feel free to sit down. I'll tell you some stories of mine if you want me to," Kion said smiling.

[~Haruka~]

Khris sat down, smiling a bit.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"I had my first boyfriend for over a year. I didn't know he was cheating on me until I caught him one night in my freshmen year with the other boy at a party. It devestated me. You're the first person I asked on my own," Kion said, looking at Khris.

[~Haruka~]

"My story is similar, only that he asked me to go out with him and I reluctently agreed. I go to the school dance like he wanted me too only to see him screwing a random girl. Then, I find out it was a prank. I got hell for the rest of the year." Khris told his story, leaning back into the chair and immeidatly decided it was a bad idea. He sat straight in his seat.

"I wouldn't do that to you," Kion said quietly, reaching out to his hand, "I promise."

[~Haruka~]

Khris just nodded, unsure of how to answer that.

"I'm going to ask again. Will you go out with me? Are you willing to?" Kion asked.

[~Haruka~]

Khris debated the question. Finally, after a good five mintues, he said: "Yeah."

Kion smiled and rubbed Khris's hand. He didn't the other boy to be upset or down any longer.

Khris managed a smile. "I have to crack my back but it hurts too baaaad," he wined, smiling more.

"Don't think about it," Kion said, looking at Khris.

[~Haruka~]

"I've had worse." Khris assured. "Skateboarding isnt as easy as it looks. Nor any less painful." he added.

Kion smiled and gently kissed Khris's hand.

Khris faintly blushed.

Kion looked at his face and pulled away slightly.

Khris smiled at him.

Kion yawned and got up from the table.

Khris did too, needing some food.

"Get some food and I'll go get some z's," Kion said, walking out the cafeteria.

"Ok." he said, shrugging and getting in line.

Kion walked to his room and laid on the bed.

Khris hanged out with his friends, eating and talking about random crap.

Kion soon fell asleep, wanting the rest.

All Khris's friends fretted over his back and the guy that he was hanging with.

Kion stretched out after an hour and sat up.

Khris was back in his dorm, yawning.

Kion stood up and walked out of his room. He went to Khris's and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" Khris shouted, doing his homework. He wished he could be skating but not for a while.

Kion opened the door and walked in. "Hey Khris," he said.

"Hi!" he greeted, smiling. He put one book down and picked up antoher one.

"Need any help?" Kion asked looking at the other boys homework.

"Nah, I got it." Khris assured.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"You sure?"

[~Haruka~]

"Yeah!" Khris assured, putting a mark down. "And I ish done."

Kion smiled and looked at his homework. "What are you working for?" he asked, "What kind of degree?"

"Science - surprisingly." he told, smiling.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"I'm trying for psychology," Kion said, kissing his forehead.

"Really now?" Khris asked, nodding. "That's impressive."

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"Yeah," Kion said, "Thanks."

[~Haruka~]

"You're welcome!" Khris said as he streatched back slowly. His back still hurt.

"Lemme check your back," Kion said picking the other boy up.

Khris rolled over on his stomach.

Kion lifted Khris's shirt and checked it gently.

It wasnt better but it wasnt worse either. Slowly, but surely, it would heal. Khris waited patiently.

"It's a little better now," Kion said putting his shirt down. He smiled down at Khris.

Khris waved, smiling.

Kion smiled as he helped Khris up.

[~Haruka~]

"Thank you." Khris told, smiling at him.

"Anything for you," Kion said.

"That's sweet." Khris told, blushing faintly.

Kion gently kissed Khris's forehead.

Khris smiled a bit, until his back smarted. He hissed lightly, closing his eyes.

"Do you need some help easing the pain?" Kion asked.

[~Haruka~]

"Nah, I'm good." he assured.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"Are you sure?" Kion asked.

[~Haruka~]

"Yeah." Khris forced a smile.

"You hiss whenever you're in pain. I've noticed that," Kion said quietly.

"Sometimes. Other times, its hard to tell. I'm good at acting."

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"Come to my dorm. I've got painkillers," Kion said, grabbing Khris's hand.

[~Haruka~]

"I'm ok..." Khris protesed, but allowed himself to be dragged by Kion.

Kion showed the other inside his dorm and found the pain pills.

Khris gave up fighting and agreed to take them.

"I want you to feel good and be pain free," Kion said, watching the other boy.

[~Haruka~]

"Its better than breaking your leg in four places!" Khris told, remembering THAT.

Kion nodded and looked into Khris's eyes.

Khris smiled.

Kion moved toward him and gently kissed Khris's nose.

Khris smiled, it turning into a grin as he scrunched up his nose.

Kion smiled and pulled away.

Khris resisted the urge to laugh.

Kion resisted the urge to kiss Khris full on the lips. He didn't want the boy to be dramatized.

Khris looked around, bored. He was used to skating at that time, but he just plain couldnt until his back healed more. He started humming the song in his head.

Kion lifted the other boys head up and gently kissed his lips. He couldn't help himself.

Khris immediatly blushed brightly, blinking.

Kion pulled away and stepped away from Khris. "I'm sorry," he said quietly.

"I-its ok. Really." Khris stuttered, still blushing brightly.

"So what do you like to do besides skateboard?" Kion asked.

[~Haruka~]

"Play guitar. And sing, occasionally." he added, smiling.

"I like to write and draw a lot," Kion said shyly.

[~Haruka~]

"Oh, wow. I'll have to see your work some time." Khris told, sitting down again.

Kion smiled and pulled out a drawing. "This is one of my recent one's," he said handing it to Khris.

[~Haruka~]

"Its nice!" he complimented.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"Thanks I wasn't really trying," Kion said rubbing the back of his head.

"Umm stick figures is the most I can accomplish." he said, laughing a bit.

Kion sat next to him and smiled.

Khris looked at the detailing and all the works involvled and smiled more. "This is really good. You and Em would get along fiiiiiine." he said without even thinking.

"But would I get along with you?" Kion asked.

[~Haruka~]

"I havent blown you off, flipped you off or attempted to deck you, have I?" Translation: yeah, we'd get a long fine.

Kion smiled at the reply and looked at his drawing. "It's suppose to be you in a way," he said.

Khris held ithe piece of art at arms length and turned it several ways just to tease him.

Kion watched him, suprisingly not getting aggravated.

Khris laughed a bit. "Ohhhhhh there I am." he said, still just teasing.

Kion smiled and laughed gently.

Khris started laughing with him.

Kion gently kissed Khris's cheek and pulled away.

Khris smiled, blushing faintly.

Kion gently brushed back his hair and smiled.

Khris just moved his very blue bangs from his eye and gave the paper back.

Kion took the paper and put it back where he had it. He sat back on the bed and looked again at Khris.

Khris was looking out the window at the other kids skating. He sighed, making a small pout. Yes, he was a bit depressed about it. just a bit.

"You'll be back once your back heals. Wanna go outside?" Kion asked getting up.

[~Haruka~]

"I dunno if Em'll let me." Khris told, getting up and going to his dorm to get his shoes on.

Kion smiled and walked out to wait for Khris.

Khris walked down the steps like a normal person rather than jumping them like he normally did.

Kion watched him carefully, not wanting Khris to hurt himself.

Khris was halfway down the steps before he decided to screw it, jumping the bars and landing on his feet.

Kion was already down the stairs waiting for the other boy.

Khris flew down, landing on his feet. "Hi!" he told, ignoring the pain that shot up his back from him moving his back to land on his feet.

"Let's get out and watch them skate," Kion said smiling as he took Khris's hand.

Khris smiled, holding his hand back and running outside.

Kion smiled as he followed Khris running also.

Khris sat next to Emily, who patted his shoulder. "Welcome to my world." she said and he wined playfully.

Kion smiled as he sat down next to Khris and Emily.

Dante waved and the two waved back. "Your leg ok?" Khris asked and she nodded. "Practicing drums more often." she laughed and Khris smiled. "Havent touched my guitar in a while..." he said and she looked shocked. "Ladies and Gents, hell just froze over!" Emily said and the two laughed.

Kion chuckled and watched the people skateboard. It was something he could never do.

Emily layed back, sighing. Khris just yawned, enjoying the sun.

Kion laid on his stomach and continued to watch them.

"I'm gonna end up falling asleep." Emily informed and Khris smiled a bit. "Already half way there." he mumbled.

Kion turned his gaze to the two he was laying next to.

Khris was half asleep right there and Emily was stairing at the sky.

"Khris tell me if you need me to take you back to your dorm," Kion said quietly, turning on his back.

"M'k." he said, very relaxed at the moment.

Kion smiled as he watched the other boy.

Khris was oblivious, just laying there and resting.
