Lorretta tapped her foot, "What do you guys think it is?" She asked her two friends, staring into the big, colorful vortex that bewildered them all.

Sara sighed. She was sooo boared. "WHo cares?"

John looked at it, thoughtfully and reached forward to poke it.

Lase sighed with boredom, then felt something strange in the air. She jumped up from her chair and rushed out to find the cause.

Lorretta shifted her eyes and grabbed John's finger, "Nooo! You don't know what it i-- AAHHHH!" Lorretta screamed. Someone had pushed her and she fell straight into the swirling vortex that was the portal.

Sara looked up for half a second, then was falling into blackness as well. All she could see was Loretta.

Dallen heard the scream and jolted up, smiling triumphantly. He raced off, running faster than anything.

Jacob was sitting on a rock, right near the portal, he had already found it, and was sitting thoughfully.

Lase found the portal and waited for someone to come thourgh it. She saw Jacob "Hey there." she said softly.

John was soon pushed in too, tumbling through nothingness.

Dallen slowed to a walk...more of a predetory walk. He lumbered up to them. "Hm...The portal's been opened again?"

Sara found Loretta and grabbed ahold of her hand.

John was the first to land. Flat on his face. "Oww...." he mumbled as he got up.

Lase giggled to herself and waited for the others to pop up.

Jacob acknowledged Lase with a simple tilt of his head towards her and then went back to staring at what came through the portal, blinking a little. "Yeah." He replied to Dallen, not bothering to look at him.

Lorretta clutched onto Sara and then abruptly hit the ground next to John, on her left side, the air getting knocked out of her painfully. It felt like someone had lit a fire in her lungs, as she fruitlessly tried to get up and gasped for air.

Lase grinned widely at the two girls who popped up next. "three of them?" she exclaimed "So fortunate!"

John rubbed at his nearly broken face. "Ugh..."

Dallen smirked at the girls. "oo...Humans."

Sara groaned. "Ow..." She whispered. Her eyes were closed but her wrist that she had landed on hurt reallly bad!

"And three of us. Splendid." Jacob remarked, smirking maliciously.

As Lorretta regained her breath, she sat up, groaning.

Dallen laughed. "Who said I wanted to split even? I go through human soo fast...and haveing an extra wouldn't hurt."

Sara couldn't hear them. Her head was ringing. She moved off her wrist and hissed with pain and alarm as her hand practically was on fire.

Lase frowned at Dallen "Split evenly, dont be greedy." she said flatly. She pointed at Sara, "Dibs on this one!"

John stood up "What the heck? Where are we?"

Sara opened her eyes and saw the finger of the girl. She moved back. "John?" She moved to his side.

John looked at the three people looking at them. they looked normal, but they seemed different. "Uhhh....."

Lase grinned widely and went to grab Sara

Lorretta shivered, "I don't have a very good feeling about here." She whispered, fearfully.

Jacob smirked, "I call the male. He'll put up a fight. Fun, fun."

Dallen smirked. "Great...Then I get the other girl..."

Sara squeaked as Lase grabbed her.

Lase grinned evilly and picked up Sara, then turned to look at the others, "Thank you, ill see you all later. Maybe."

John frowned at Jacob, not sure what he meant. Then when Lase picked Sara up he grabbed the biggest stick he could find and smacked Lase in the head with it, freeing Sara.

Sara grabbed John and Loretta and bolted.

Dallen sighed and rolled his eyes. "Nice going Lase...You let them get free."

Lorretta ran, ran for her life! "What were they?! Vampires?!" She hissed, looking back for a moment, before picking up her speed.

Jacob smirked, "Anyone up for a chase, because personally, I prefer to lull them into a trap before I..." He paused, "SNAP THE TRAP!" He yelled, quickly.

Lase glared at Dallen "Well you should have had yours under control." she said angrily and walked off in the direction the humans had run.

John ran as fast as he could after them, "Maybe, i dont know, they are awfully weird."

"I don't care." Sara said. "But they don't want us for normal reasons."

Dallen glared after her, then sighed and started walking.

"What would normal reasons be anyway?" Lorretta asked, her brow furrowed.

Jacob smirked, and followed after, for reasons accuratly, his pure amusement. From both the demons and humans.

John nodded in agreement with Sara, and shrugged to Lorretta. "Who knows?"

Lase scowled at the ground as she walked, thousands of years should have taught her to be more careful with her prey.
