Lia coughed harshly as the waves crash landed her hard on the sand. She crawled away slowly, using her sore arms to pull herself farther up onto the shore. She layed on her stomach, coughing again. She had swollowed a bunch of sea water, and her throat burned, only made worse by the coughing. She didn't dare move from her spot, too tired, and almost falling asleep.

Kyle sighed as he strolled along the beach. He did this almost every day, seeings how there wasn't much that he could do on the island. Well there was a lot he could do, but it was getting boring doing everything by himself, after being on the island for a few years. He ran a hand through his hari, messing it up more, and sighing again.

Zakirah had rolled up on shore, her eyes closed and her bode aching. She layed there for a good ten minutes, she looked dead but then suddenly she sprung to life, coughing up water. She sat up breathing in between every cough. She held her chest. It hurt. It really hurt to move. But she had to. She couldn't just stand there, she had to find her best friend.

Chase moved along in the woods of the island. He was veiwing the ground as he walked, he smiled at the animals that walked and scurried past. His shoes were off and his hands were in his pants pockets. His arms were quite defined from climing trees and things.

Lia groaned, but images of what had just happened flashed through her mind. "K-Kira," she groaned. She pushed herelf up slowly with her aching arms. "K-Kira... I.... I-I'm c-co-coming," she said quietly, starting to walk slowly. Her legs felt like they were on fire, and her mid section felt like there was a knife through it. She felt cold metal on her skin around her neck, and smiled a little knowing she was lucky, for not dieing, and for not losing the necklace. Now all she had to do was find Kira.

Kyle saw something wash up on the shore in the distance. He squinted to try, and see better, but it didn't really help. He started getting closer, but stopped when he saw it move, and start coughing. His eyes widened, and he raced to the person, shouting. "Hey! Hey, are you okay?!"

Zakirah looked at the man running towards her. She kept watching him steadily, but he came as such a blur. Her body was trembling as she tried to stand. She looked aroung. "L-lia?" her voice was barely audible. She was wet and cold, she was shivering, though it was quite hot out. She was most likely suffering from shock. She didn't answer him.

Chase saw a girl walking towards the woods. He watched her for a minute, then realized she was hurt. He ran to her. "You alright?"

Lia stopped, and looked at the guy that was running towards her. Her vision started to get hazzy, and she felt herself fall forwards. On reflex she caught herself by putt her leg in fornt of her, and had to keep herself from screaming in pain.

Kyle got to the girl, and put an arm around her to help her stand. "Who?" He asked. He figured she was unwell, she must have gone through a lot with the way that she looked. "Let's get you back to my house so you can rest a bit," he said, picking her up carefully, also figuring she was in a lot of pain.

"No..." she whispered, sounding as though she was out of breath. "I -I need to find L-lia..." she choked out. Coughing some more, holding her ribs as he picked her up. She winced. She groaned in pain, not wanting to scream. She felt herself slipping away.

Chase looked at her. He picked her up. "C'mon, we need to get you somewhere. " he spoke to her calmly. "You'll be alright, I'll fix you up fine." he walked towards where he stayed.

Lia shook her head. "W-where's K-Ki-Kira? I.... I-I have t-t-to f-find h-h-her," she whispered, her voice harsh. She felt herself getting more dizzy. She groaned, and felt herself go limp, her body aching too much to handle.

Kyle looked down at the girl. "Come on, stay with me here," he said, walking back to his house that he built over the years. He layed her on the bed, and started working swiftly, but gently, trying to fix the girl.

Kira's heart rate was declining, and she began to shake violenty, then her body finally went limp. She was suffering from hypothermia and shock. She was barely holding on.

Kyle looked at the girl. "Come on." totally terrfied that this girl might die on him. He broke out into a swift run to his house, the remnants of the plane that crashed, he made it into a home. He layed her down on the seats. Looking around for a first aid Kit.

Lia felt her mind start to turn blank. She knew fully well what was going on. She couldn't feel the pain anymore, her mind was starting to turn off, and her breath was slowing down rapidly, her chest barely moving.

Kyle's eyes went wide, and he started doing all he could for the girl. "Please don't die on me," he whispered, still working. He finished doing everything he could think of to help her, and kneeled down beside her. "Please don't die..." He chanted over and over again softly.

Kira's chest stopped moving for a good five minutes. And her body stopped moving. She hadn't died, if you listened to her chest, you could heard a heart beat, and you could feel her breathing somewhat. Kira was ready to stop fighting. And she did, she stopped trying, her chest stopped moving completely and her heart stopped beating.

Chase's heart stopped. "No no no, your not dieing on me...." he began to search frantically, he found it. The little mask, and it had a little thing to squeeze to put oxygen into the persons body. Which he put on her face and began squeezing.

Kyle's eyes widened even more. "No! Don't die on me!" He cried. He stood up, and looked around wildly. He took a deep breath, and started to do CPR like he learned in high school. He kept at it, trying to get the girl's heart to start pumping again, and tried to force oxygen into her.

Lia's mind racing, trying to tell her to keep holding on, that she had a lot to live for, that she couldn't give up. But she did. Her mind started swirling for a moment before going completely blank. Her heart gave two more weak beats, before stopping completely.

Chase panicked again. He climbed on top of the girl and he began CPR, he pinched her nose and opened her mouth, putting his onto her own. He breathed into her, and then he got up and began to press down on her chest, five times, and repeated the process. He was so scared.

Kiras heart faintly began to beat again, and her breaths were slow and shallow. She layed limp still. She looked horrible. Her body was still trembling. Then she clutched the sheets of the bed, and screamed in agony.

Kyle held his hands over his ears, wincing as she screamed. "Shh!" He tried, putting a hand over hers. He was a little relieved that she was alive. He looked around, and found one of those hospital needles, and some of that liquid pain killer. He poured the pain killer into the needle, and closed it. He gently poked the needle through her skin, and injected the pain killer, creaning it up after.

Lia's heart pounded once. Then twice. Then a third time. It started back up slowly, the beating of it weak. Her mind slowly started to turn back on, and she was again faitnly aware of what was going on. Her whole body was still numb, her mind still a little fuzzy.

He put the oxygen mask back on her, and slowly pressed, helping her breathe. He did it for as long as need be. He just didn't want her to die. He couldn't have any one die on him.

Kira opened her eyes and looked at the man who just stuck the needle in her arm. Her vision still a little hazy. She was tired, and her body was weak. Her body still ached, but she could tell the medicine was working.

Kyle smiled a little, and cleaned the needle off. He stuck it back in his emergency kit, and placed that on the table in case he needed it later. "Hey," he said quietly to the girl as she opened her eyes.

Lia's breathing started to pick up again, and her heart beat also started to beat faster. Her eyes fluttered open for a moment, before closing again.

He took the mask from her face, he could see she was breathing better on her own. He saw her eyes open for just a moment. He smiled, and then sat in the seat next to her, monitoring her...

Kira looked at him. "W-where's L-L-Lia?" she managed to squeeze out of herself. She spoke slowly, and her voice was barely audible. She couldn't move her head, so she glanced around a little.

Kyle looked at the girl a little curiously. 'Lia? Does she mean there's another girl here somewhere?' He thought to himself. He looked at the girl again. "Don't speak yet. You're still very weak. I'll answer questions once you're better," he said, smiling to her.

Lia sucked in a deep breath, her back arching, when the mask was pulled away, and she started to breath on her own. She slowly layed back down, her eyes slowly opening all the way this time.

"I don't give a damn." she cursed at him. "I need to know where Lia is..." her voice was steady now, getting a little louder. "I don't care how sick I am, I just need to know if she's alright..." her fists clenched. You could clearly see she had an anger problem.

"You feeling any better?" asked Chase, concerned, pouring water that he sterilized on his own with the fires he made, this was was already sterilized and cooled.

Kyle shook his head. "I don't know where 'Lia' is. I'm sorry. I just found you. I can go search for her later," he said, trying to be helpful. He didn't even know who 'Lia' was, or what she looked like.

Lia looked around, trying to keep her breathing steady. "W-where... W-where is K-Kira?" She asked quietly. Her eyes wandered to the guy who was talking to her, then around the room.

Kira's face dropped. "Y-you mean you haven't found her?" he face looked as one of the ones in the horror movie when the killer finds them, Lia's family pretty much took her in when she was little, Lia's father died the year previous, and they thought they needed someone in the home. He and Lia were best friends and sisters since.

Chase looked at her. "Who's that?" he handed her the glass of water. Even though she was just pretty much drowning in it.

Lia's eyes wandered to the guy, and completely ignored the water. "Kira... My best friend... My little sister, where is she?!" She said, her breathing speeding up rapidly as she started to have a small panic attack. "Where is she, where is she, where is she?!" She half screamed.

Kyle shook his head. "No I haven't found her. There was no one else on the beach but you, and you almost died on me, so I had to bring you back here to save you," he said quietly.

"Calm down, calm down. I'll look for her. I promise." he vowed, he never broke a promise, never. He looked at the girl and fanned her. "Sh..sh...shhhh" he said sitting next her her now "Come on, Don't panic." he told her. Worried again.

Her heart fell into her stomach. "So she could be dead?" she began hyperventilating, fanning herself for air. "Lia, she, Lia, my, oh my god." she couldn't get out what she wanted to, her words were cracked, and she was confused.

Lia's hands clutched onto the sides of the seats. Her eyes looking around frantically as if searching for something that she couldn't find. Her mind was racing again. "I can't lose someone else that's dear to me!" She cried. She felt tear well up in her eyes, and sucked in a deep breath.

Kyle took the girl's hand in his, and he fanned her with a few papers near by. "Shhhh," he said, trying to calm her down the best that he could. "She's not dead.... I'll go find her as soon as possible..." he said quietly.

She felt a few hot tears hit her skin. Her green eyes searched the room, she was frantic. Beads of sweat collected on top of the girls forehead, she was a caramel colored beauty. "If she dies, I swear, I'll kill you." her words were as cold as ice. She snatched her hands from his.

Chase looked at the girl. "You won't loose her. I promise you that. No one is dying on this island as long as I'm alive." he told her.

Kyle pulled back a little bit, shocked by all the rage this girl was giving off. "She won't die," he said again, his face hard, all hints of kindness were gone. "I told you I won't let anyone die."

Lia's heart was still pounding. "But what if she does. What if she's dead right now?! I have to save her!" She cried, her breathing picking up again, her eyes wide. "Kira! Kira!" She yelled, starting to have another small panic attack.

Chase was getting annoyed. He splashed the cup of water in her face. "Shut up. She'll be fine." he said, he looked at her. "She's not dead. " he assured her. Sitting. "Well find her as soon as your ready to walk. "

Kiras face was hard as his. She didn't speak. She just glared at him. When it came to her older sister, she'd throw her life on the line.

Lia narrowed her eyes at the guy, and sat up slowly. She swung her feet over the side, and stood up, as much as it was killing her she didn't care. "I'm ready to walk, and I don't need your help," she growled, walking out of airplane house, and back towards the beach. She had to find her sister. She needed to find her sister, or she would go crazy.

Kyle was kind of amused by this girl, though he didn't show it. He crossed his arms, and leaned back in the chair, glaring right back at her.

Kira looked at him still. Then she broke her glance, thinking of Lia again. She breathed in. "Can we go find her now..." she said to him standing weakly. Walking towards the door.

Chase followed behind her, he didn't want to risk her getting sick or anything.

Lia kept on walking, knowing the guy was following her. Her legs gave out for a moment, before she caught herself. She sighed, and kept walking. She didn't glance behind herself, she didn't want that guys help at all.

Kyle nodded, and stood up. He walked behind the girl slowly. "It doesn't seem right... I know your friend's name, but I don't know yours. I'm Kyle," he said, walking next to her in case she fell.

"Zakirah. Just call me Kira." she said, not really paying him any attention. SHe kept walking, "Lia!" called Kira, stmbling over a rock, but picking her self up.

Chase stood next to her. "I'm sorry. I'm Chase." he smiled to her. "I'm sure we'll find her quite soon..."

Lia looked out into the distance, barely paying attention to the guy. "Ophilia Rose," she said, not even bothering to say her nickname, he'd find out sooner or later, her focus of the moment was to find Kira. "Kira!" she shouted, getting a little dizzy, but getting over it.

Kyle kept his hand behind Kira's back, but didn't touch her, he just wanted her to be safe, and not fall. "Kira... It's pretty," he said, smiling a bit.

"Thank you." she called her sisters name again. "LIA!" her voice would give out soon. Crap she'd lost her inhaler on the trip. Maybe thats why she felt like this. Lia had her extra because she was always loosing it.

Chase smiled. "I like it. It's unique." he followed behind. "You and her like twins or something?" he asked, she acted like they were conected at the hip.

Lia shook her head still looking. "She's a foster child, and my mom took her in a few years ago after my dad died. She's my best friend," she said. "KIRA!!" She called.

Kyle shrugged, this Lia girl seemed like an important person to Kira, so he dicided to call too. "Lia!" He shouted.

[Scrappy]

Chase nodded. "Yeah? That's awesome. My brother is still probably looking for me. Sending swat and crap. " he chuckled. He opened his mouth. "KIRA!" he shouted loud. He'd feel the same if his brother was out there somewhere.

Kira heard the faintest shout. "You hear that? "

Lia's eye twitched, and she stopped, when she thought she heard something. "KIRA?!" She called as loud as she was able to, and listened.

Kyle listened, and heard someone calling Kira's name. He looked over at Kira. "Let's go," he said, and kept walking.

"Lia! I"M HERE!" she screamed as loud as possible. Running towards the sound. There was no time to walk. She had a hard time running, but anything for her sister.

Chase smiled. "Told you she wasn't dead." he followed behimd Lia. "Go, get her! She's calling you. ." he urged on.

Lia's eyes widened, and she felt tears coming to her eyes as she heard Kira call to her. She broke out into a full on run, not caring about the pain in her legs. "KIRA!" She cried, seeing her sister come into view. She threw her arms around her sister, hugging her. "I'm so glad you're alive!" She cried, tears pouring from her eyes.

Kyle smiled as he walked behind Kira. He smiled at the other girl who he guessed was Lia, but noticed another guy. He tilted his head, he didn't know there was another guy there as well.

[Scrappy]

Kira hugged her sister. "Oh my god, I thought you were dead." she cried. She sobbed into her, happy tears, even in the condition they were in.

Chase smiled at the reunion. He looked at Kyle..."Uh, so, you washed up on the shore too?" he asked him. Looking at his good condition. He wasn't wet like the girls. "Or have you been here?"

Lia hugged Kira closer. "I thought you were dead too! I thought I was dead before, but then Chase saved me! Oh am I glad to see you!" She cried.

Kyle smiled, "I've been here for years. How long have you been here? I've never seen you," he asked, looking at how well the other guy looked.

[Scrappy]

"I was dead." she smiled at her and hugged her again. "You look like hell!" she shouted, looking her sister over. She was getting worked up and her chest was hurting. "I know you didn't loose my inhaler did you?"

"A few months. " he replied swiftly.

Lia patted her pocket, and smiled, pulling out Kira's inhaler. "You look like hell too! That crash took us out pretty good," she laughed quietly, her body still aching terribly.

Kyle nodded. He knew this island like the back of his hand. He knew all the good places to go hiking, and rock climbing, and where the prettiest sights ever were. It was only natural the other guy wasn't here for very long.

He smiled at Kyle, he looked at the girls. "Uhm, now can you to go lay down?"

Kira put the inhaler to her lips and pressed it down. Breathing in the medication. Smiling. Handing it back to her. "Before I loose this one too."

Lia smiled, and put the inhaler back in her pocket. She looked at Chase, and pulled Kira into a hug. "But I just found her," she pouted.

Kyle laughed. "I have spare room at my house for you all if you all want to stay there," he offered. He had had a lot of spare time. And with all that spare time, he made things. Including like five beds, even though he wouldn't have needed them before this.

[Scrappy]

Kira smiled at Kyle. "Sure." now that her sister was back, she'd be much more friendly. She looked chase too. She liked the Idea of laying down. And sleep. "Actually Lia, I'm to weak to talk. And I'm tired." she smiled at her sister.

Chase nodded at the girls and Kyle.

Lia yawned. "Sleep does sound pretty good right now," she said tiredly, rubbing her eyes. She really felt tired all of a sudden. She guessed her body was already tired, but she was just so worried about Kira that she didn't notice it.

Kyle nodded. "Alright, follow me," he said, leading them back towards his house.

Everyone followed. Chase behind the girls incase one of them collapsed. Kira was holding her sisters hand tight, as if she wasn't ever going let her go again.

Kyle glanced back at the others. The two girls looked horrible, they deffinately needed some sleep. Lia rubbed her eyes with her free hand, and yawned. She was 22 years old, but she acted like such a little kid sometimes.

[Scrappy]

Kira smiled at her. She was the mature one. She liked the news and things, while her sister enjoyed other things. She enjoyed them too. But she'd much rather watched the news.

Chase still stood behind them. Just as Kira stumbled. He caught her back and lifted her before she fell. She had let go of Lia.

Lia took Kira's hand again, and smiled. She saw a house come up up ahead, and smiled, thinking about falling asleep on a bed.

Kyle smiled, and opened the door for the other. He held it open, so it wouldn't close on them when they walked through. It was a pretty big house, and yet he was still adding some things onto it.

They walked in, Chases jaw dropped. "You used to be an architect?" he asked him looking at the house. Kira collapsed on a chair, no longer able to carry on. She put her head back and let out a loud sigh, she was pooped.

Kyle nodded. "I was in collage for it, and I was supposed to be getting a pretty good job over seas for it when I crashed here. I think I like it better here though, no worries, and the food is free," he laughed, looking at the two girls.

Lia plopped down on the chair next to Kira. Her body was aching all over, and she didn't want to walk any more. "Is there any chance you could have been a surgeon? Then you could cut off my body parts so that it wouldn't ach as much." She said. She felt herself drifting into a light sleep, her head tilted to one side.

[Scrappy]

Chase nodded at Kyle. Then over to Lia, he chuckled at the girls. Kira drifted off after her sister. Chase looked at him. "Awesome dude." he looked at his house. "It looks like a house I lived in before this..." he sighed.

Kyle nodded. "Wanna help me get these two into beds? There right behind that door," he said pointing to a door to their right. He picked up Kira carefully, not wanting to wake her up, and brought her through the door, gently laying her one one of the beds.

Chase did the same. He checked both girls pulses before he left. He then looked at them for any other signs of complications. He looked them over again and smiled walking away from their beds. "The'll be fine, hopefully." he said gulping.

Kyle smiled. "They should be fine. If they both die again, we can save them like last time," he chuckled, thinking about how he actually saved someone's life.

Chase chuckled. "Yeah, I almost failed at that." he sighed. He was supposed to become a doctor. But on his way across seas to his interveiw, his plane crashed. He saved himself. He saved some woman, but she died because she was bleeding internally, and he couldn't help her.

Kyle nodded. "Same here. I had no idea what I was doing, I just remembered a lot of stuff from health class in high school. Oh boy does high school seem so long ago," he sighed. He kind of missed being in high school, but he liked being here more.

[Scrappy]

Chase smiled. "YEah it does. So does college." he replied, even though he graduated a few months ago. He stretched. "Long day man. I was not ready for this. I just saw some chick crawling up the shore. Calling for Kira..."

Kyle nodded. "I saw a girl trying to stand, calling for Lia." He said. He yawned, and sat in one of the chairs. "I think I might just go to sleep myself. It really has been a long day."

[Scrappy]

"Yeah." he agreed. Cracking his neck. He was quite tired, he closed his eyes and yawned, he stretched and her closed his eyes, falling silently to sleep on Kyle's couch.

Kyle smiled. He yawned for a second time, and decided he should go to sleep. He pulled walked into another bedroom, and layed down on the bed. He closed his eyes, and was almost instantly asleep.

The next morning, Kira was already awake. Sitting in her bed, waiting for someone to wake up, her body ached so bad. She had her head leaned against the bed board. The girl barely cried, and this one moment she was crying. Her body hurt so bad. Being shot couldn't compare to this pain.

Chase lay sprawled out of the floor. He must've fallen off of the couch last night...

Lia groaned, and turned onto her side. A pain shot through her whole side, and her eyes shot open, the pain so unbarable she screamed. She rolled onto her back again, her whole body throbbing, her eyes starting to tear up.

Kyle was awake,looking over the notes about what he was going to add on to his house. He sighed, and stood up, walking out of his room when he heard a scream. He noticed Chase on the floor, and shook his head, walking into where the girls were. "You guys okay?" He asked, but noticed them crying. He sighed, "I'll go get the pain medicine."

Kira looked at her sister, tears streaking her eyes. Her hair was a mess. She was crying too, just as hard. She had her legs pulled up into her chest. Her sister screamed and she jumped. She couldn't even move to see if she was alright. "Just kill me now..." she whispered. This pain was unbearable.

Chase shot up, hearing the girl scream. He ran into the room. He looked at both of them crying. He sighed. "It's going to hurt for a little bit girls. I know it's at its worse now, but It'll be all over soon."

Kyle came back with the needle, and the pain killer. He poured more of the pain killer into the needle, and looked at Chase. "Do you want to do this? I'm not a doctor," he said.

Lia looked at the needle, her eyes red, and wide. "N-needle..." she muttered. She really hated needles, especially after what a doctor did to her before. She was like terrified of needles, and she didn't care how much pain she was in, she didn't want that thing in her, or near her.

"Yeah. " Chase took the needle and Kira willingly put her arm out for it. He tapped the tip of it and put it her arm, draining it until it was empty. She didn't winces, because it didn't hurt. He looked at Lia, cleaning the needle and pouring mode medicine in it. "Trust me?"

Lia's bottom lip started quivering as she looked from one person to the other, then to the needle. She figured he did save her life, so she might as well let him finish helping her, that and the fact that the pain was getting worse. She shut her eyes tightly, and held her arm out slowly.

Kyle smiled at the two girls. They were both such good sports. He chuckled to himself. "I'm going to go find something for us to have for breakfast," he said, starting out of the house.

Kira smiled at Kyle and nodded. She put her head on the pillow again. Waiting for the pain to ease. She stretched and yawned.

Chase took the needle and put it into her arm. The liquid slowly coming out. It soon began coarsing through her veins. "It wasn't that bad." he smiled to her. Throwing the needle into a nearby trash can. He sat on the end of Lia's bed.

Lia rubbed at her eyes, making them a little bit more red. She sighed, and took her locket off from around her neck, holding it inbetween her hands, glancing up at Chase.

Kylw went out into the woods with a small basket he made. He climbed a few trees, filling the basket with apples, bananas, pears, and other fruits that he could find.

Chase looked at Lia. "What?" he asked her as she held the locket. She much have cherished it, it must've been really important. Maybe a family member, a friend, a boyfriend, anything that she held close.

Kira looked at the two. Bad mood again, she rolled onto her stomach. Huffing. She looked towards the door. Her stomach was growling now. She hoped he'd get back soon to feed her.

Lia opened the locket, and handed it to Chase. Inside there was a picture of an older guy, probably in his thirties. "It's my dad..." She said quietly. She glanced over at Kira, a little sadly.

Kyle came back with the basket over flowing with fruit. He brought it into the room, a bright smile on his face. "Alright everybody, dig in," he said, setting the basket at the foot of Kira's bed, smiling down at her.

Kira still sat angrily on the bed. She'd wait till everyone else ate before she did. Thats the way she worked. She wouldn't care if she was starving, she'd make sure everyone else ate first. She looked at Kyle, she let out a fake two second smile and flopped her face back down on the bed. She'd sink into depression soon. She'd be stranded here forever, with Lia by her side. How would she survive this?

Chase looked at her. "Oh, I'm so sorry to hear. " he rubbed her back. "It'll be alright."

Lia shook her head. "It's fine," she said quietly, grabbing an apple. She took the locket back, and put it back on. She bit into the apple, and layed back against a pillow.

Kyle shrugged, and grabbed a pear. He sat down on a chair, and started eating the pear. He was thinking about either going rock climbing or swimming later.

Chase looked at the fruit. He grabbed a banana. He peeled it and opened it. He sat back on the bed. He looked at Kira and Lia. He sighed, biting into the banana.

Kira sat finally, she took an apple and took a small bite from it. She leaned against the bed post. She chewed the apple slowly. Looking at Kyle, then at Lia, and then Chase.

Lia glanced at Kira from the corner of her eye. She sighed sorrowfully, wondering how long they were going to be kept on this island. Kyle said he'd been here for years. Would they be here for years too?

Kyle took another bite out of his pear. It was nice, and juicy. He always found the good fruits.

Kira blinked slowly. God, they were going to die on that island. Kira took another bite from her apple. She pulled her legs up, indian style.

Chase cracked his neck. Chewing the banana.

Lia pushed herself up into a better sitting position. She thumped her head against the headboard repeatedly, thinking. She didn't really want to stay on this island forever, it was too weird here. Plus she wanted to go back home, find the perfect guy for her, get married, have kids, and lead the perfect life.

Kyle sighed, it was getting really quiet in here. He took another bit of his pear, thinking over things that he would be able to get the girls to do after they got better.

Kira looked around the room. The silence was too much for her. She sighed. "Uhm, so, do you think we'll ever get out of here?" she asked Kyle. She looked at her sister. She sighed and closed her eyes. WAiting for an answer.

Chase looked at her. He saw this coming, he knew it was coming.

Kyle looked down at the ground. He should've known this question was coming. "Umm... I'm not totally sure actually... Like I said before, I've been on this island for years... I don't know if and when someone's coming for us all," he said quietly.

Lia stopped hitting her head, and looked at Kyle, her face blank. There go all her dreams right down the drain.

Kira looked over to her sister. There dreams were similar. Kira just imagined becoming a Vet. Having a wonderful husband and beautiful children. Kira then looked to Kyle again. She looked at everyone. The words hit her hard. "No, no no no no no!" she shook her head.

Chase had nothing to say. He just looked at them.

Lia glared at him. "What about my kids?! Huh?! Why can't our dreams come true?! You two already went to collage, we never did! We want to get married! And have kids! Where's our perfect lives!" She felt tears well up in her eyes as she saw all her dreams slip away. She covered her face, and fell back against the headboard again.

Kyle looked over at Chase for help on this. He really didn't know what to do. He looked at the floor, then up at the two upset girls, then back at the floor.

"You should've just let me die." Kira stated. Getting up and going over to her sister. She cradled her gently. Then sighed. She kicked Chase off the bed. He hit the floor. "Hey!" he shouted. You could see that when angry, Kira was a force to be reckoned with.

Chase looked to him and shrugged. "Man I don't know."

"I wanted kids so bad," Lia whimpered quietly. It was the one thing she wanted most out of her adult life, and now she wasn't going to have them. She curled up into Kira, hugging her gently.

Kyle watched the two girls. He kind of felt bad for them. They didn't really have much of a life yet, and then they get stranded on an island, not able to finish it correctly.

Kira looked to her sister. "I promise you, I'll get us out of here, or die trying." she told her sister. She promised her this. Kira and Lia's mother swore that Kira should have been at least four years older than Lia and a boy. By the way she fought and played, and how mature she was.

Chase sat in another chair. He looked at them. This matter wasn't in his hands anymore.

Lia nodded. "Alright," she said quietly. It was so weird to her that she was older than Kira by a year, and yet Kira was always comforting her like she was the older sister. Lia rubbed her eyes, trying to get over that her dreams were almost completely gone.

Kyle kept watching the two. "I can try to help the best I can..." He offered. "I can try to find like a radio of a map or something."

Kira looked at her, still cradling her like a baby. "I promise you." she looked at the Kyle as he offered to help . She looked directly at him. "I don't care. Just get us out of here." she demanded.

Chase looked at everyone. "I gotta go for a bit. I'll be back in just a second."

Lia looked at them both. "Please help us get out of here," she whispered quietly. She didn't want to lose any more dreams.

Kyle nodded. "I will help." He said. he looked over at Chase as he was going to leave. "Alright," he said, giving him a small smile.

Kira got up. "Where's your bathroom?" she asked Kyle. She had to pee really bad, swallowing that much sea water made you have to go.

Chase went to his house and got a radio, never really tried it out for it to work. He came back in. "I never used it, maybe it'll work."

Kyle pointed out the door. "Go back into the main room, then it's the only door on the far side wall," he said.

Lia eyed the radio. She hoped to god that it worked. She even crossed her fingers, praying that the old thing still lived on.

Kira went to the bathroom and used it, washed her hands. BUt she didn't come out. Instead, she slid down the wall, and cried. Her dreams shriveled into nothingness.

Chase put the radio on the bed. Looking at it as if it were some alien from outerspace. "Uh, does your sister know how to do this crap? Do you?" he asked LIa, and Kyle at the same time.

Lia shook her head. "No I don't... I don't think Kira does either," she said quietly, pulling her knees up to her chest. She was starting get a little bit of hope that they would get saved.

Kyle shrugged. "I don't know either, but I bet if we play around with it a little something will happen," he said, taking the radio into his hands. He pushed a few buttons, while trying to talk into the microphone thing.

Kira pulled herself together, soon they'd get worried and come looking for her. She stood and wiped her face, looking into the mirror thing and looked into her own eyes. "Why is this happening to us?"

Chase looked at them. "Just be careful not to break it, we can't afford that..."

Kylw twisted a few more knobs. "Heelo?" He asked into the micro phone. He listened into the static. He thought he heard someone talking, and turned another button. The talking got clearer, and his eyes widened.

Lia looked at the radio, shocked. Someone was actually talking backing to them! Her eyes widened. They could get saved! She felt her heart soar, a smile appearing on her face.

Kira walked back into the room. Hearing someone talk who didn't sound like any of the guys in the room. A grin played onto her face. Maybe there was hope. She looked into the room and sat on the bed. "C'mon, say something back..."


Chase looked at the radio in shock. He could have a career, he could fall in love. He could have kids, he could have a better life than this, a fairytale life. The one he always wanted to live.

Kyle nodded. "Hello?" He asked again into the mic.
"Hello?" He heard someone repeat after him. "Who is this?"
"My name is Kyle Winters. Me and three of my friends are stuck on an island. We don't know where we are though. We need someone to help us," he said clearly into the mic.
"Kyle?" The voice said. "Ky-.... -ur.. break.... up-" Was all that came from the radio, before there was nothing but static.
"Heelo? Hello?!" Kyle said frantically. He really wanted to go back home, just like the others. He'd been alone for far too long without seeing a family member, or another human besides the others now. He turned more knobs, trying to get connected again.

Lia felt her smile start to slip away. "What's going on?" She asked quietly. "Why'd the voices leave?"

Kira looked at the radio. "Try again!" she shouted. She didn't want to be stuck her anymore. "C'mon!!" she was on her knees. Looking at Kyle...

Chase's heart dropped to his stomache, and then he sat back on the bed. Looking at the wall.

Kyle looked at Kira. "I'm trying!" He said, still twisting and turning the dials, and buttons. "Hello?!" He cried into the mic. "Someone answer me god damnit!"

Lia pulled her knees close to her chest. 'Bye bye fairy tale life...' She thought sorrowfully to herself. She didn't really want to be stuck on this island forever.

Kira looked at everyone. "Were gonna die here..." she looked at the two boys, and then at her hands. She began laughing. "This is a joke right? Wait wait, one of those stupid reality shows." she smiled looking around for a camera.


Chase looked at Kira as if she was going insane. He looked at Kyle, and whispered. "Wow, she's nuts. "

Lia looked at Kira, a few tears had fallen again. "Kira.... It's not a joke... If it was this would be a very cruel joke for someone to play..." She whispered.

Kyle shrugged, still playing around with the radio, trying to get the it to work again. "Come on you stupid piece of sh.it..." He muttered under his breath.

Kira looked at Lia, anger rising. "Stop crying, thats all you do! Stop acting like a baby! Crying isn't going to change this!!" she was breathing hard now. She hardly ever fought with Lia, and if she did, it had to be seriously hurting her. She put her hands in her head. "Were going to f.ucking die here..."


Chase looked at Kira's little fit. He chuckled. "Girl, theres something seriously wrong with you. " then he felt a fist collide with his nose. He held it in agony.

"Yeah, it is. Gotta problem with it?" her fist was still balled .

Lia's eye twitched. "I'm... I;m going to go to the bathroom..." She said, standing up, and walking out of the room, closing the door behind her. She had stopped crying, and instead of going to the bathroom, she walked outside, and into the forest. She kept walking until she was almost in the center of the whole island. They'd have a pretty hard time trying to find her if they tried to look for her.

Kyle glared at the others. "Stop fighting! Fighting won't change any of this!" He yelled, still fiddling with the radio in frustration.

Kira huffed and sat back on the bed. She'd find Lia later, she just was way too made to find anyone, or do anything. Sweet Kira was gone, the old tempermental Kira was back. And with a vengence.

Kyle sighed and walked out. "Keep working on that. I'll be back." he went to the bathroom and knocked on the door. "Lia. It's okay, you can come out..." he her no answer so he knocked again. Still no answer, he opened the door, to find her no where. He walked out to the outside area. "Lia?!?"

Lia sat down on the ground, her legs apart. She started to draw with her pointer finger in the dirt, humming to herself quietly. Her mind wasn't really working properly at the moment. She was drawing nothing really, just nonsence pictures.

Kyle sighed, he was getting nowhere with the radio. He glanced at the door. "What's wrong with Lia now?" He called out to Chase.

Chase called back to Kyle. "She's gone! She isn't in the bathroom! " Chase looked around . "I'm going to look for her so that she doesn't get lost!"

Kira sighed. "Just leave her, she'll find her way back." the girls heart was racing, but she was too mad to show any kind of emotion to anyone. Her face was straight and dull and she talked as though she had no tone to her voice.

Lia kept humming, unaware of anything of anythiung that was happening to her body, like how she was starting to get dizzy. It wasn't that much of dizziness, it started off soft, but then it got a little bit stronger. She swayed side to side for a moment, still not realizing what was going on.

Kyle sighed, and ran a hand over his face. "I'm going to work on the house more," he muttered, standing up. He went outside, and climbed p to the roof, and started to work where he left off.

Chase continued off to find Lia, ignoring Kira's comment and Kyle telling him what he was going to do. He didn't pay it any mind. "Lia?!" he called again. "Lia?" he was pretty much in the middle of the forest. "Lia?" Chase was getting worried now.

Kira was laying on the bed, sensing something was wrong. She ignored to feeling though. Something was wrong with where they were, so that was probably the feeling.

Lia groaned, falling onto her side. She curled up into a ball, and held her stomach. She groaned again, and crawled over to a bush. She threw up, and fell back, onto her back. She groaned, and curled up into a ball again.

Kyle sighed as he watched Chase run off after Lia. He shook his head, and kept hammering nails into the wood. He wanted this house to be perfect, even if he was rescued, and wouldn't live here anymore.

Chase heard someone groan. "Lia?" he walked over to her. "Sh.it Liaa?? Get up hun..." he shook her. "Lia c'mon get up." he pleaded her.

Kira yawned and closed her eyes, but that nagging feeling kept on.

lia groaned again, and pushed herself away from Chase. A wave of dizziness washed over her, and her stomach suqeezed tightely. She turned to the bush again, and threw up for a second time. She flopped onto her side, closing her eyes.

Kyle sighed, and swung himself up into a tree he had been working on. He climbed to the top, up to the platform he had been building on it. It was going to be his look out tower.

Chase looked at Lia. "If you don't get up, you will die out here. I don't have proper equipment to help you here, so please get up." he begged her, he sat next to her on the ground.

Kira sighed. "Kyle!" she said standing and going out to where he was, looking up at the roof.

Lia didn't want to move. Her stomach was twisting, and she felt that if the tried to get up again she would vomit. She nodded slowly, and put her hands on the ground, slowly pushing herself up, her arms shaking.

Kylw looked towards the ground, and sighed. He climbed down the tree, and sat on one of the branches near the bottom. "What is it Kira?" He asked, staring at her.

"Did Chase come back with my sister yet?" she asked him, hoping he did, and they were like walking on a beach somewhere.

Chase helped her up. "Put you arm around my shoulders and I'll help you walk." he wondered what could be wrong with her.

Lia hissed in pain as her chest hurt, and her stomach twisted painfully. She grabbed onto Chase's hand, and pulled herself up, putting her arm around his shoulders. Her hand held onto her ribs as it throbbed.

Kyle shook his head. "Nope. I haven't seen either of them, even from up in the tower," he said. He was starting to wonder what was going on himself.

Kira sighed and ran off into the woods. "Lia! Chase?" she called running swiftly. She ran track, she kept looking. "LIa!!?"

Chase began to walk. "Be careful, there are snakes out here, look at the ground as you walk..."

Lia's vision was blurry beyond belief, so she couldn't actually see where she was going. She coughed harshly, a little bit of blood coming up, not much, probably not even enough for it to be noticed.

Kyle sighed, and jumped out of the tree. He ran after Kira, shouting the names as well. He was starting to get a little bit more worried now, Chase should have found Lia, and been back by then.

Chase saw a little bit of red splatter from her mouth. "Lia? Any pain that you didn't mention earlier? " that couldn't be normal. Then he saw Kira in the distance...Oh no...

Kira stopped dead in her tracks as she saw her sister..."What the hell did you do!" she shouted. Looking dead at Chase, her face contoorted with a mix of fear and anger...

"My... Chest... It hurts.... Very much..." She whispered, looking up at Kira. She coughed again, more blood coming up this time. She hissed in pain, holding her ribs still.

Kyle stopped near Kira. He looked at the other two, then at the blood on the ground. "What going on? What's wrong?" He asked Chase, a little afraid of what was happening.

Kira went to her sister. "Why didn't uou tell him before?" she said to her looking at her sister. "C'mon we gotta get you back. She picked Lia up. "I can't believe you were making her walk. Jerk."

He let Kira take her, Kira had to at least take medical school. She's twenty-one. She should know a little bit about what was going on. "from the looks of it, her lung could be punctured and blood's getting in. But I can't operate, I have no anesthetic, I have everything else but that..."

Lia shook her head slowly. "I couldn't really feel it before..... It hurts... It really does..." She groaned, arching her back a little as pain shot through her again, and she screamed.

Kyle looked at Lia and Kira, then at Chase. "What the heck is that?! What does it do? Can you make it? If that girl dies, Kira is never going to forgive us, and she'll probably kill us for it," he said. He was kind of really worried about all this.

[Scrappy]

"It puts her to sleep and pretty much numbs her whole body. And If I did have that, I don't have the antidote to wake her from it!" he said looking at him. "I don't know how to make it, and yes I know she'll kill us. "

Kira looked at her, "God girl, if you die. I'll wake you back up and kill you myself." she sighed and took her into the house. "Where the hell are they?!"

Lia groaned, and twisted her body, coughing harshly again, more blood coming up. Her face twisted into an expression of pure pain.

Kyle's eyes widened as he started back for the house. "Can't you just knock the poor girl out, then work on her then?" He asked.

"That would hurt..." he told. "And that could possibly kill her..." he informed.

Kira pulled up Lias shirt, her chest was bruised. "I think a rib punctured your lung, Sis I'm gonna have to deck you. I'm sorry about this..." she hit Lia hard in her head to the point where it knocked her out.

Lia's mind raced for a minute before Kira knocked her out. She was most likely going to be out for a while.

Kyle got to the house, and opened the door. He looked at Kira, then at Lia who was unconcious. "What did you do?!" He asked, his eyes wide.

"I hit her. See, she's not in pain at the moment. Does anyone have a scalpel?" she asked, she did got to medical school and learned to operate, she just hasn't gone to animal medicine.

Kyle's eyes widened. "Chase just said that hitting her could possibly kill her!" He said, but he guessed that everyone took chances every once in a while.

"She'd die either way, so why not try and save her." she asked him. "Now does anyone have a scalpel?

Chase looked in his bag. "Here...Actually, let me do it..."

Kyle stepped back from the scene. He closed his eyes, "I don't think I can watch this," he muttered, going into his room to work.

"Kira, move." Kira moved out of the way and sat on the other end of the bed. He washed his arms up and put on gloves. He took some alcohol and rubbed it on her body and then cut where he knew the problem was. He opened her and moved her rib from her lung slowly and carefully, then he sewed her lung back together and closed her back up, a simple ten minute surgery. The he wiped her body clean and wrapped an ace bandage around her chest...

Kyle poked his head from his door. "Is it all over?" He asked them, walking out to see what was going on. He really hoped that Lia would be alright.

"Yea, it's done." he took off his gloves and disposed of them. Now the rest was up to Lia.

Kira had her eyes closed, she was watching th procedure but now all of a sudden she had a sick feeling in her stomach. It was a feeling of worry. She was so worried for her, and she couldn't do anything about it. Thats what made her feel that way.

Kyle sighed, and sat down next to Kira. He felt really sorry for her, and he couldn't really do anything. He wanted to tell her everything would be alright, but he didn't want her to explode at him again.

Kira looked at him. She leaned her head on his shoulder. "Why does everything happen to her. Once in a while, let me get hurt, let me hurt for her...It's always her...I'm always out scott free." she sobbed into his shoulder.

Kyle was a little shocked by this version of Kira, but he quickly recovered, and wrapped his arms around her. He didn't say anything, he just listened. If she told him what bothered her about this she should feel aeven the slightest bit better, he knew that.

Kira continued to cry. "She-She's always the one suffering. I wish I could just take her place, I just wish. If I could I would breathe for her, I would die for her, I'd do anything for her. If she die's on me, I swear, I'll kill myself. Without her, there's no reason to live....Thats my older sister, and I couldn't breathe if she wasn't here with me..."

Kyle gently rubbed her back. "Shhh...." He said sofly, trying to calm her down just a little bit. He understood why she'd be so upset, Lia was her best friend, and sister, she's supposed to be upset at times like these. "Just give Lia a little bit of time, I'm sure she'll fine in just a little bit," he said quietly.

Lia groaned quietly, a very soft sound, but a sound that would tell people she's waking up a bit.

"I know she'll be fine, But I hate to see her hurt!" she sobbed, settling down a little wiping her eyes. She looked to Lia's bed, and sighed. She was waking up, and when that happened, she'd be in a world of pain...

Kyle nodded. "I know dear, it's very hard," he said quietly. He looked at Lia, just waiting for the obvious of what was coming next.

Lia slowly opened her eyes, her body numb for some reason. It took her a second to realize what had happened, and at that moment all the pain washed over her body like a tital wave, and she screamed bloody murder.

Kira jumpes her sister screamed. She hopped from the bed and walked over to her. "Sh-sh-sh sweetie...Shhh..." she said trying to soothe her sister. "It'll be fine, you'll get better and the pain'll go away." she took the needle with the codine in it that Chase had in his bag. She knew what to do. "This'll make it all better..." she stuck it in her arm without warning, the only way Lia'll get a needle in her arm...

Chase smiled at how Kira did what she did to Lia, maybe that was the only way.

Lia looked up at Kira, her eyes full of tears of pain. "It hurts Kira," she whispered. She closed her eyes, wating for the pain to go away, and clutching onto Kira's hand.

Kyle admired how close the two girls were to one another. He wished he had someone like that, but sadly, he was an only child, unless his parents had another kid over the last few years.

She held her sisters hands. "It'll go away in a minute. The codine will set in soon. " she was squeezing her hand tight, but she was fine, she could take the pain. She had worse when her good friend had a baby.

After a little while the pain dulled down, and Lia's grip on Kira's hand lessened. "Thanks Kira," she said quietly, looking up at her, and smiling a little bit.

She smiled back. "If the pain comes back. Ask Chase, I'm gonna go for a walk and let off some steam." she stood kissed her sisters cheek and handed the needle to chase. WAlking off.

Chase smiled. "Mhmm.. Thanks.. Kyle, follow her before the same thing happens to her...."

Lia smiled, and nodded. "Alright, be safe," she called after Kira. She sighed, and closed her eyes, thinking.

Kyle nodded, and walked after Kira. He didn't want anything to happen to her either, that would just be terrible. They both already basically died, then came back to life, we wouldn't want that to happen a second time.

Kira nodded to her sister and motioned Kyle forward to walk with her. "So, exactly how long have you been here?"

Chase looked at Lia, "You feeling anybetter?"

Lia opened her eyes, and looked over at Chase, nodding slowly. "Yea... I can't feel any pain right now, which is a good thing," she said. "Thank you for helping me... You've saved me twice now..."

Kyle walked alongside Kira, thinking for a second about her question. "I've been here for about two year now," he said, answering her question. "Why?"

"Lia, it's my job." he announced, leaning next to her on the bed. "It's no biggie. Well your life is, but, you know, no need to be all thankful about it.."

"I don't know, just seeing how it would be if we stayed here that long, you know? I thought we were to die here. But two years? Wow..."

Lia shrugged, "sure I do. It's not every day that I get into a life threatening situation," she said, but then stopped, and thought. "Well it maybe not life threatening, but I am a klutz, and a danger magnet."

Kyle smiled a little, and nodded. "Yea, it seems like it's been a lifetime now, since I first got here. But I've had so much fun on this island it's not even believable. I found so many cool places, I'll have to show you once you're completely better," he said.

"Wow, thats how my little brother was. Clumsy and a klutz." Chase laughed. "He was a danger magnet too," he pondered and chuckled. "When he came back home, he'd always have a new scar."


Kira smiled "Yeah? I can't wait for that." she smiled cracking her neck, a bad habit she'd gained a few months prior.

Lia laughed, and smiled. "Yea. My mom told me that whenever I got pregnent that she would wrap me up in bubble wrap, and make me stay in one place the whole nine months, just so me, or the baby, wouldn't get hurt," she chuckled. She really did miss her mom.

Kyle smiled, and looked around. "This place really is great once you've been here for a while, and have accepted the fact that you might be here for a while. This place is seriously cooler that my home," he said.

Chase chuckeled. "Maybe that would be a good idea. Your moms a smart woman." he complimented. "You hungry? I can go find you something to eat..." he informed her.

"Yeah? Is that so, I wish I could think of it as that." she admitted. "I just really really miss my home. I bet you my mom is panicking, we haven't called her, and my cell phone is fried."

Lia smiled. "Thanks, my mom is pretty smart," she giggled. "Oh, can I have an apple please?" She asked. She didn't really notice how hungry she was until he brought it up.

"I would let you use my cell, but that's fried too," Kyle said, sighing. "My mom has probably given up looking for me by now. I've been gone for years, she probably thinks I'm dead."

"Sure. I'll be back in a second. Call me if you need anything..." he said walking from the door into the kitchen to get left over apples.

Kira nodded. "Yeah, well we'll just have to deal..."

Lia closed her eyes, and started to hum to herself quietly. She was trying to keep her mind blank of all negative thoughts, and it was kind of working.

Kyle nodded. "Yep, we will. I'm sure you'll like this place more, when you see the places I have to show you," he said, smiling.

Chase entered with two apples. One for LIa and one for him. He cleared his throat and handed her the apple.

Kira nodded, "Yes I guess so. " she smiled and walked slowly , letting the sand cover her feet with each step.

Lia opened one eyes, and smiled, taking the apple. She took a small bite out of it, and smiled a bit more. "Thank you," she said.

Kyle smiled, and slowed his pace to match her's. He looked up at the sun that was still high in the sky, and sighed.

Chase nodded, chewing a bit of apple, and then swallowing it. "Your welcome." then he bit some more and swallowed it after chewing it.

"It really is beautiful out here. The clear water, the trees, and everything." she sighed too. Looking to the sand.

Lia smiled, and ate more of her apple. She took only small bites, for it was hard to swallow the bigger bites that she took. She stared at the ceiling, thinking.

Kyle looked over at her, then took her hand, tugging on it a bit as he started to quicken his pace. "Come. I want to show you something," he said, heading towards the woods.

Chase got on the bed again. "So, where did you and your sister live before you got here?" he was questioning, wanting to start a conversation.

"Where are we going?" Kira asked him. Her leg still sort of hurt. "Slow down a little..." she told jogging behind him.

Lia smiled a little bit. "We lived in Florida," she said semi quietly. "Where did you live?" She asked back, looking at him.

Kyle smiled, and picked Kira up bridal style. "I want to show you one of the first places I found when I got here," he said, walking quickly. He smiled even brighter when they came upon a giant waterfall.

Chase nodded. "Alabama. Right above where you lived." he smiled "I loved it there...The country was amazing..."

Kira giggled when he picked her up. "It's beautiful. I can't believe anything this huge could be in the middle of the forest!"

Lia smiled. "I've always wanted to live in the country, just far away from other people," she said, thinking of her dream home. "We used to live in the city, so you couldn't really see the stars at night, and I love to star gaze."

Kyle shook his head, "this isn't even the best part," he said, starting to walk towards the waterfall. He walked around the back of it, and into a beautiful cave.

"Yeah, In Alabama, you'd see them clearly..." he informed. Biting another peice of appl.

"I've never seen anything like this. Ever." she mentioned. "Unless it was on television. "

Lia sighed. "I wish I had lived there. It sounds amazing," she said, taking another small bite. She closed her eyes, her hands lightly resting on her stomach.

Kyle nodded. "Me too, that's why I was so excited to see what else was on this island. There's another underwater cave like this, but I think it's even more beautiful," he said, setting Kira down.

"It was amazing, just too quiet." he informed. Sighing, "It was especially quiet when my dad died."

"I can't wait until I get better to see beautiful stuff here." she smiled and looked up at Kyle.

Lia opened her eyes, and looked at Chase. "Your... Your dad died too?" She asked quietly. She felt bad, she knew how much it must have hurt for him.

Kyle smiled down at her. "Yes, so hurry up, and get better!" He chuckled, looking around the cave.

"Yeah, last year. Car accident, coming from work." he said to her. "He was pulling through, but he had cancer he told no on about and it killed him." Chase sighed and bit his apple.

"Yeah, I'll hurry and get better." she smiled at him. Looking at all the pretty things in the cave.

Lia frowned. "That's so sad...." She said quietly. "I'd give you a hug, but I don't think I should sit up right at this moment," she said.

Kyle walked away from Kira, and picked up a light blue gem that was on the ground. He examined it, couldn't really tell what type of gem it was, but shrugged, and went back to Kira. "For you," he said, handing it to her.

"It's fine Lia." he smiled at her, trying to lighten the mood. "Did you have any siblings other than Kira?"Chase asked her, his little brother was his world.

"Aww, Kyle thanks!" she smiled and held the gem in her hands. He wasn't so bad after all, he was a sweet heart. She held her arms out for a hug.

Lia smiled, and nodded. "Yea. I have a 14-year-old little sister as well. She's such a great little girl," she said, thinking of her sister.

Kyle chuckled quietly, and hugged Kira. "No problem, I just thought you'd like it," he said, smiling brightly.

Chase smiled. "My brother just turned fifteen when I left." he announced smiling. Lia was really pretty when she smiled. "James was my world, he was so amazing."


Kira smiled. "Yeah? Well you thought right." she smiled a little looking at the rainbow from the sun hitting the waterfall.

Lia nodded. "I know how you feel, my sister Isis was my world too, and so was Kira. I would die if any of them, or both of them, got hurt. They really are good people," she said, sighing softly.

Kyle let go of Kira, and sat down by one of the little pond things that was created by water getting into the cave. He rolled up his pants, and stuck his feet in the water.

Chase nodded. "Yeah, I guess thats how younger siblings are. Wait, who's younger you or Kira?" he asked her, not really sure because Kira was so mature.


Kira did the same thing he did. "This is nice." she stated stretching a little. She looked at the rainbow again and smiled. Stuff like that was so beautiful.

Lia smiled, "I'm older than Kira by a year," she said proudly, then giggled. "I know, I act pretty childish a lot," she said, rolling her eyes at the ceiling.

Kyle nodded, and looked over at Kira, smiling a bit. "You know? You really have a pretty smile," he said, looking down into the water, a little embarrassed that he said that out loud.

Chase chuckled. "Yeah, we all have a little child in us somewhere." he informed. "Maybe Kira just had a bad life and hasn't found hers yet. "

Kira blushed. "Thanks Kyle." she laughed. And looked to the water. No body really told her anything was pretty, except for LIa her sister Isis and her mom.

Lia nodded. "Yea. I'm sure she'll find her inner child soon. This place seems nice enough to do that," she said, closing her eyes again.

Kyle smiled, still looking in the water. "No problem," he said, swirling the water around with his foot, making it shimmer in the light that was shinning through the waterfall.

Chase smiled, leaning against the bed and closed his eyes also. Breathing steadily. He was actually enjoying this moment with LIa.

Kira looked at it. "Thats really neat. " she looked at it. And then at him.

Lia opened one eye, and looked at Chase. She smiled, closing her eyes again, and snuggling back into the bed, feeling very calm, and relaxed.

Kyle smiled, and looked up at Kira. "It is really neat," he said. He smirked, and splashed her with water, "ooohh! I just got you!" He laughed, smiling brightly.

Chase sort of fell asleep on the bed. He slept ligty just incase something happend to Lia.

Kira laughed and splashed him back. "I just got you!! Oo!" She had gotten water on his jeans.

Lia smiled a little, listening to Chase's light breathing. It was so calm, and so lullaby-like, and she felt herself slowly driftiny off as well. She sighed softly, falling to sleep completely.

Kyle splashed her again, "oh yea! I'm so going to win this fight!" He laughed, jumping up, and running to the other side of the small pond thing. He sat down again, and stuck his tongue out at her. "Ha ha! You can't get me!" He teased playfully.

She got into the pond. The water went up to her chest. "Yeah I can." she pulled him in with her. "It's not that hard silly." Her childlikeness showing fully.

Chase woke up everyonce in a while to chek up on her. Just glancing towards her to see if she was breathing.

Lia turned onto her side in her sleep, and groaned softly in pain, turning back onto her back. She was one of those type of people who tossed and turned in their sleep, so it was going to be pretty painful when she slept.

Kyle smiled, and laughed, splashing her. "I'm still going to win," he said, backing away from her, smirking. He liked this Kira, she was really fun.

Chase looked over to her. Checking to see if she was alright. He watched her as she slept, not really tired anymore.

Kira laughed. "No your not!" she splashed him again. Kira liked being with Kyle, he made her feel less stressed out.

Lia sighed softly, and her head turned, snuggling into the pillow that way. She groaned again, her head flipping to the opposite side, trying to get comfotable.

Kyle stuck his tongue out at her again, and splashed her. "Oh yes I will!" He laughed. He was really having a lot of fun at the moment.

Chase watched her some more and covered her with a blanket. HE stood and went into the living room. He'd check on her soon.

Kira smiled and splashed him again. "Oh I don't think so!"

Lia felt someone put blankets on her, and she pulled them around herself tightly. She groaned lightly, and opened her eyes halfway, slowly getting used to the lighting again. She yawned, and looked around, noticing there was no one in there.

He snapped his fingers in a circle, "oh no you didn't, girlfriend!" He laughed, splashing her again.

Kira laughed, doing the same finger movement. "Oh yes I did boyfriend!" she smiled splashing the water in his face, her pain was gone for the moment.

Chase poked his head in the room to see if she was alright, "Hello sleepyhead." he chuckled and walked in. "Nice sleep?"

Lia smiled, and yawned. "Yes, thank you," she giggled, leaning back against the pillow. She watched him, still a little tired.

Kyle whipped the back of his hand across his face. "I'm going to get you for that," he laughed, before he disappeared under the water.

"Want anything to drink?" he was already hold a glass of water. He hadn't drinken it yet so he could give it to her.

Kira laughed. "Oh crap... Where'd he go...." she was trying to look for him, but the water was so ripply she couldn't see him. "Kyle??"

Lia nodded. "Yes please?" She asked. She hadn't had anything to drink since the plane crashed, and that was one or two days before, she didn't really know anymore.

Kyle swam around Kira, and came up behind her, hugging her from behind. "Got you!" He cheered, laughing.

Chase handed her the glass of water. "Here you go." he sat next to her in a chair by the bed. "Feeling anybetter?"


Kira screamed and laughed. "No!" she fell under the water and came back up. "Oh ho ho, I'm gonna get you now."

Lia downed the glass of water, her throat's burning lessening a lot. "My chest still hurts a little bit, but other than that I'm feeling a lot better," she said.

Kyle let go of her, and smirked. "Oh yea? Come get me!" He laughed, going under the water again.

"Thats really good." smiled Chase. "Just promise me you don't go off and dang near die on me okay?" he chuckled, but he was all too serious.

Kira smiled and dove under the water, opening her eyes to see if she spotted his shape.

Lia nodded. "I promise you I won't go off, and dang near die on you," she giggled.

Kyle smiled at Kira, and stuck his tongue out at her before swimming away.

Chase smiled at her. "Good, because if you do, I'll have to revive you, and then all this crazy stuff will happen and your sister will bite my head off..."


Kira smiled and swam following him, she wasn't gonna let him get away.

Lia smiled, and giggled softly. "But what's the fun if I don't get to die a third time?" She asked jokingly.

Kyle huffed as he hit a wall. He glanced back, noticing Kira getting closer. He was seriously trapped.

Chase smiled "Because, I don't want Kira to kill me." he smiled at her, also joking, but half serious.


Kira came up to him and began to wrestle playfully with him under the war.

Lia smiled, "I wouldn't let Kira kill you, you've been too nice to me," she said.

Kyle laughed, bringing them up to the surface. "That was fun," he said, smiling brightly.

Chase smiled. "Aww, how sweet." he took the empty glass and sat in on the table next the bed. "So...."

Kira smiled at him , "Yes, it was..."

Lia tilted her head a little bit. "So, what?" She asked.

Kyle sighed. He really liked Kira. She was so nice, and pretty playful, at least she was when she wasn't in an extremely bad mood, but that didn't really matter to him.

Chase smiled. "What do you want to talk about. " Lia was so pretty, he wondered how she acted when she wasn't sick.

"You think we should go back? " Kira asked, not really wanting to leave the pretty place, wait till Lia got better and she could show her.

Lia shrugged, thinking. "Hmmm... What can we talk about?" She asked, giggling.

Kyle smiled a little bit, "they might be wondering what we're up to, so yea, we should," he said, climbing out of the pond-like watering hole, and offering a hand to Kira.

Chase shrugged. "I don't really know..." he chuckled a little, sort of clueless.

Kira took his hand. "Thanks..." then she looked at her soiled clothes. "You have t-shirt or anything I can put on? I don't wanna cath a cold. " she giggled.

Lia looked at him, and before she could stop herself she asked, "did you have a girlfriend where you lived?" She blushed, and put a hand over her mouth. She was known to have some of her thoughts slip out. "Never mind! You don't have to answer that! I'm sorry!" She said, placing her other hand over her mouth, and sinking back into the bed, wishing she could disappear.

Kyle nodded. "I have plently of cloths," he said, smiling. "Want a ride back?" He asked, "I can give you a piggy back ride if you want," he chuckled.

Chase smirked and looked at her reaction to what she just said. He rubbed the back of his neck, blushing a little himself. "YEah, I did, she died on the plane actually, we had broke it off on the trip though, and then we crashed. And that was that." he sighed.

Kira smiled. "Sure, I'd love a piggy back. Sounds great." she walked behind him, and jumped on his back.

Lia felt even worse now. Her and her ginormous mouth. She fell back deeper into the bed, pulling a pillow over her head.

Kyle smiled, and held her legs as he started walking out of the cave, and back towards his house.

Chase chuckled. "I'm kidding about the dead part. She's still in Alabama, but we broke up the day before I left here." he smiled. "Don't worry..."

She smiled. "That was really fun Kyle, I hadn't laughed like that in a while, actually since I was small..."

Lia peeked out at him from over the pillow that she still had pressed to her bright pink face. "I didn't mean to ask that, I swear," she whispered, really embarrassed.

Kyle nodded. "That was really fun. We have to do that again sometime, but then again once you get completely better we can have much more fun rock climbing, and danger free cliff diving," he said, chuckling.

Chase chuckled. "Lia, it's fine...Don't worry, no offensiveness here, and I'm not worried about it. SHe was a cheater, so it's fine..." he patted her knee. "I swear."

Kira nodded in agreement. "The cliff diving sounds fun." Kira was still the daring tomboy she was when she was younger...

Lia waited until her blush died down a little bit before removing the pillow, and placing it behind her head again. She felt the blush start to come back, and she glued her eyes to the ceiling.

Kyle smiled brightly. "It really is fun. There's no rocks, no sharks, it's completely safe. I've done it repeatedly," he chuckled.

Chase looked at her. "Rosy cheeks...Your blushing...?" he asked a little confused. He was curious as to why she was blushing.

Kira nodded. "Is that so? It's not fun without the danger..."

Lia blushed a bit more, and nodded, looking over at him. "I feel so embarrassed...." She said quietly, wanting to grab the pillow again.

Kyle smiled a little, glancing over his shoulder at her. "Yes, but we also don't want anuone dieing here."

"No need to Lia. It's fine." he assured laughing at the girl. She was being so silly over something that didn't matter...

"This is very true." said Kira laughing. Leaning her head on his.

Lia sighed, and layed back, staring at the ceiling, not knowing what to say any more. She felt like if she opened her mouth more things she didn't want to say would come out.

Kyle smiled. He came out onto the beach again, and turned into the direction of his house.

Chase looked at her and began laughing at how silly she was being, he liked her, she was nice. He wanted to even things out. "Did you have a boyfriend?"

Kira held on to him, all the way on the way to the house. She had a lot of fun and she was soaked.

Lia looked over at him when he started laughing at her. She pouted until he asked her question back. She shook her head. "I haven't dated for about a year now," she said semi quietly.

Kyle brought Kira back into the house, and set her down. He smiled, "I'll go get you a shirt," he said, going into his room, and searching through the cloths that he had saved from his plane crash.

Chase looked at her. "I don't know why with someone as beautiful as you." he blushed a little, meaning to say pretty... He let out an uneasy chuckle.

Kira waited for him to come back, she took off her shirt already, waiting, she would pull her pants down until he left the room. He had already seen her chest so it didn't matter, he saw them when he had to revive her.

Lia blushed, and looked down at her hands in her lap, a very tiny smile on her lips. "Yea, well, the guys where I live are really picky about girls. I guess I just wasn't good enough for any of them," she said, still quiet.

Kyle searched through the shirts he had, and found the longest one. He walked back out, pausing for a moment when he saw she didn't have a shirt on, then handed her the one he had, blushing the tiniest pink. "There you go," he said, walking out of the room.

Chase smiled. "Well, they are all idiotic jerks." he smiled at her. "No need to blush. " he reall was begining to like Lia, alot.\


Kira put her shirt on and pulled off her pants and hung them on a ddoor to dry. The shirt went to her knees.

Lia smiled a bit more, and looked up at him. "Thanks, that really makes me feel better," she said, sighing softly. She pushed herself up a little, and winced, dropping herself back down.

Kyle quickly picked out an outfit. It was just a simple t-shirt, and a pair of shorts. He walked out of his room, and sat down at the counter with his blue prints of the house.

Chase smiled at her. "Good, and its true you know." He looked at her. "Yeah, you cant do that, you were just operated on. " he chuckled.

Kira walked towards where Kyle was. "Hi." she looked at him. "Your fat, look how big your shirt is on me." she joked.

Lia smiled a little, and chuckled softly. "Yea, I guess I should stay down. I just feelt like moving, so this kind of sucks," she chuckled, resting her hands lightly on her stomach again.

Kyle looked slightly amuzed. He looked at her, then down at himself, "I don't believe that is my shirt. I just took whatever guy cloths that I could find out of the water," he said, laughing softly as he started to draw on the blue prints.

Chase smiled. "I know how you feel." he chuckled and stood up. "I'm gonna go see if your sister and Kyle are back. " he walke dout of the door.

Kira looked at him and scoffed. "I'm wearing some dead guys clothes?" she didn't care, she was kidding anyways.

Lia smiled, and stared at the ceiling, a million thoughts running through her head. She really did like Chase, and she thought that he might like her too, but she wasn't going to take any chances of embarrassing herself with something like that. She started to hum quietly to herself, closing her eyes, trying to sooth herself.

Kyle chuckled, and smiled as he continued to draw. "Yes you are, is that a problem?" He asked, still amused by all of this. He heard Chase come in, and said. "We're back," chuckling because he probably saw they were back before he said it.

Chase came back in the room. Feeling the same way as Lia. "Your real name is Ophelia right?" he liked her name, it was unique, he'd never heard anything like it really.

Kira laughed. "Big problem, It's a DEAD guy." she smiled at him. Looking at the blue print.

Lia smiled, and opened her eyes, looking at him. "Ophelia Rose is my whole first name. My dad gave me two first names," she said. She loved her name. It wasn't very common, plus her dad named her, and he was like her biggest hero when she was little.

Kyle smiled, looking up at Kira, trying to look offended. "First you call me fat, now you're insulting a dead guy? Wow, you're not very nice," he laughed, going back to his house.

Chase looked at her. "Wow, nice name. " he smiled. He liked her, he liked her name, perfect. "My first name is Chase and my middle is Nikolas."

Kira giggled. "I'm as mean as they get..."

Lia smiled, she had always liked the name Nikolas. "Well, my whole name would happen to be Ophelia Rose Isabella Lin," she giggled, "now that's a mouthful."

Kyle smiled, and gave her a playful shove, being as gentle as possible. "Ah, you're not that bad," he said, going back to his doodling. He was basically making his dream home.

"I like that name still. Even if it is a lot to say. I'm betting Kira has a different last name, doesnt she?" most orphans kept their last names. It was odd, but true. "My whole name is Chase Nikolas Daniels."

Kira smiled. "I know." he smiled was bright, the dull look in her eyes was gone. She'd been lightened up by Kyle...

Lia nodded. "Yea, Kira's last name is Jenkins," she said. She smiled at his name, thinking again. 'Ophelia Rose Isabella Daniels? That has a nice ring to it...' she giggled in her mind, but stopped when she realized what she was thinking, and shook her head to get the thoughts away.

Kyle smiled, as he looked up at her. She seemed like a completely different person than she was when she first got here. He thought for a moment. "Want to see something else?" He asked her. "It's not very far away."

He smiled. "It sounds like what that smart girl from scooby doo says. Jenky's!" he giggled a little. "oh yeah, her and Kyle are back. I think she has a thing for him." he winked.

"Sure." Kira smiled at him. Chase was right, she had a thing for him. He saved her life, he showed her some place beautiful and gave her a pretty gem that was still in her hand.

Lia smiled. "Maybe he found out how to crack her shell. She's extremely nice when she's not in a bad mood," she said. She giggled softly when he winked her, and glanced down at her hands.

Kyle stood up, and grabbed her hand. "Good," he said, bringing her over to a very big tree. "Okay, you're going to have to get on my back again, and hold on tight," he said, looking up the tree.

Chase agreed with her. "Yes, most likely, if not she's crazy." he laughed a little.


Kira got on his back. "Where are we going?"

Lia laughed softly. "Kira isn't crazy," she insisted, "I've lived with her for a few years now, I should know."

Kyle smiled, "you'll see, just hold on tightly." He jumped up, and grabbed a branch, and started climbing up the tall tree carefully.

"I still think she's crazy." he chuckled jokingly. "Are you feeling any better? You sure seem to look like it..."

Kira giggled. "Oh my, I'm nervous...."

Lia nodded. "I feel alright when I'm still like this, but it does still hurt when I move around," she said.

Kyle smiled a bit more, and they soon reached the platform that he had built around the top. He stood up, and looked across the island. "Isn't it beautiful?" He asked Kira.

Chase smiled. "That's a sign that your getting better, or maybe thats just the meds. But hopefully it's a sign. Can't stand seeing a beautiful girl like you laying in pain."

Kira looked around. "I can see the whole island from here, hey look! There's the water fall!" she smiled brightly. "It's beautiful." she hoped off of his back and stood next to him, slowly sliding her hand in his.

Lia shrugged, smiling a little bit. "Thanks," she giggled. "I think it just might be the meds though." She sighed, and glanced up at the ceiling, her eyes glued to the swirls in the wood.

Kyle smiled when he felt her take his hand. He glanced down at their hands, his smile growing a little bit, and squeezed her hand a tiny bit.

Chase smiled. "Yeah, well Lia, can I uhm, ask you something?" his smiled fell from his face, he was serious.

Kira smiled too, looking at him. Then back out, "This I swear is beautfiul." she put her head on his shoulder. She wouldn't really want to be here with anyone else but him.

Lia looked over at Chase, and her small smile left. "W-what is it?" She asked, worried slightly.

Kyle nodded in agreement. "It really is beautiful," he murmured, setting his head on hers.

"Would you be willing to be my girlfriend?" he looked at her, a little nervous now. "I know we only met yesterday, but I've learned alot about you in these two days, and your really nice,and your beautiful and and and..." he ranted on.



Kira smiled she looked up to him, her hand still in his.

Lia burst out laughing, which kind of hurt, but she didn't care at the moment. She smiled brightly, she was so relieved. "Of course I will!" She cried. She wished she could move around, she kind of wanted a hug now.

Kyle glanced down at her, smiling still. She was such a great person, and he was extremely glad that he met her. He wanted to ask her oput, but he was feeling a little shy at the moment, so he stayed silent.

Chase smiled. "Your serious? No joke right?" he said a smiling growing across his face. He was exstatic. He actaully liked this girl. ALOT.


Kira smiled, she was still looking at him. He more interesting to her that the beautiful scene infront on her.

Lia shook her head. "No joke!" She said, her smile huge. She reached out her arms to him, really wanting a hug, but she couldn't get up.

Kyle turned a little, and wrapped his arms around her. A small blush had krept up to his cheeks, and he cleared his throat. "Hey Kira?" He murmured to her.

Chase smiled a little wider going over to hug her. "Good, thats great!!!" he smiled at her and gently so he wouldn't hurt her.

Kira was looking back at the veiw by now. "Hmm?"

Lia giggled, hugging him carefully. She was still trying to ignore the stabbing pain, and moved over so he could stay next to her.

Kyle looked back out into the distance as well. "Kira... Do... Would you go out with me?" He muttered quietly.
