The sun shined down at him making him groaned. He wore a regular outfit, wasn't for the suit and tie attire. He wore a leather jacket, blue t-shirt that read: "fill in later". Denim jeans to top it off. His hair was a normal brown color that gelled to fit the occasion. He wanted to make a "good" impression on his students and his fellow teachers.

Stepping into his classroom he was late of course, not really the perfect first impression to give out.

Panting, Kondou rushed up the stairs in the large school building. She had woken up late, and was running late for her first class; English. The night before, she was so excited that they were getting a new teacher. It kept her up most of the night, just wondering who the teacher would look like, and act like. Finally, pushing the knob of the door open, Kondou clumsily stumbled into the classroom. Mostly everyone was already in their seats, staring at her. As for the teacher, she slowly looked towards him, blushing in embarrassment and how amazingly handsome he was.

Hunter looked at her and nodded. "Welcome." he said. He wasn't getting mad for a student being late, he was late also. "So name is Hunter. Or Mr. Markham." he announced closing the door of his classroom. "I'll be your English teacher." he smirked as he walked over to the boar and wrote down his name. "Kay, umm..Guess I'll take roll." he said grasping the yellow piece of paper off his desk.

Kondou sighed, and smiled. Happy that she wasn't scolded for being late, but she was still embarrassed. Silently making her way to her seat, she sank in the seat a little bit and watched Mr. Markham pacing to the board, then to his desk. She could tell she wasn't the only one thinking the new english teacher was cute.

Reading name after another Hunter was trying to memorize these as best he could. " Kondou Miharu" he announced picking up his head to scan the rows of the teen girls for someone's hand to raise up. He repeated the name once more, liking the sound of the name just rolling off his tongue.

Kondou looked up, hearing him say her name. She slightly raised her hand, saying: "Here." It surprised her at how well he pronounced her name. Most people just called her Kon because it was a lot easier to pronounce.

Hunter smiled at her and nodded. "Cute name." he commented before going on and reading all the other names that were left. He was a bit surprised at all the girl's name. One was Apple, Seven, and even Turn. Where did the parents come up with these names? He kept asking himself as he finished off the roll call. "Great. Seems like everyone is here."

Kondou felt her face heat up, and shyly looked away. "Thanks.." she muttered softly. She nervously twirled her pencil between her fingers, wondering how the day would tur out. She really hoped this teacher was nice, and hardly gave homework. Even the goody-goodie's hate doing their homework.

Hunter nodded. "Kay, so since everyone is here. Lets get started." he said putting the yellow piece of paper back onto where he found it. He looked over at the books under their desk. "The principle saids you guys finished off reading Sonnet 43 - How do I love thee? Let me count the ways by Elizabeth Barrett Browning." he smiled. "Love that poem."

Kondou slightly nodded, seeing as the class was to drowsy or even to busy talking to hear the teacher. Sadly, Kondou didn't have to much friends in High School. She got over it. It sucked being alone, but you learn to get used to it.

Hunter smiled noticing the class. "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

He said out-loud. He adored poems more than anything back in the days. Elizabeth Barrett Browning was just only one of the many he loved to read.

Kondou sighed dreamily, watching as he read. She aswell liked the poem, even though it was actually her first time hearing it. "Amazing.." she whispered, her eyes twinkling up at Hunter.

Hunter chuckled looking at the girls. "Does anyone know anything about Elizabeth Barrett Browning?" he asked. "This was one of the many poems Elizabeth had written in her life time. Beautiful poems." he commented. "You know growing up Elizabeth was well-educated for a girl of that time." he explained. "They didn't have girl private schools. mostly girls were taught how to be a good house mother."

Kondou stayed silent. Resting her chin on the palm of her hand, as she stared at Hunter. She already felt it, those butterflies; she was crushing on him. Surely a handsome man like him was already dating, or married at that. Oh well.

Hunter chuckled. He went on about Elizabeth and even resiting few other poems of her. Of course he was cut short when the bell rang. "Wow, time goes by fast." he shrugged. "Alright, I'll see you guys tomorrow, we'll talk about the meaning of Elizabath's poem." he called out seeing the girls just climbing out of the classroom.

Frowing slightly as the bell rang, Kondou slowly got out of her seat, taking her books with her. She walked down the aisle inbetween the desk's, and took a right towards the door. "By Mr. Markham." she said softly, blushing faintly.

"Good bye Kondou." he waved going back into looking over at his desk. There were papers all over that wooden desk. He sighed scratching his neck. he smiled at the class that were coming in now.

Kondou smiled brightly, before leaving the classroom. Almost tempted to stay, but she'd get in a lot of trouble. Maybe she'd seem him during lunch or something. Next class; geometry. Yuck.

The day finally picked it self up and the bell rang for lunch time. "You guys have a lot of bells." Hunter said to the class that was getting up and leaving. Hunter grabbing his jacket and placed it on so he could go out to lunch. He was going to get something to eat at the cafeteria.

Kondou was relieved when Geometry was over. Her stomach had been growling most of that class, it was surprising no one heard. As she quickly walked into the large cafeteria; already filled with tons of girls, she darted towards the line which wasn't long like it usually was.

Hunter patted his tummy entering the lunchroom. He was the only guy in the whole school. The teachers were female, but only the janitors were males, but very very old. Sighing he took the chance to just wait in line like some of the other teachers.

Kondou sighed, grabbing a tray and gathering the food she wanted like everyone else. When she heard some girls began to whisper about Mr. Markham, Kondou looked over and saw him also in the line. She began smiling happily, but was so lost in thought she was holding back the line.

Hunter looked around feeling the line wasn't moving. He looked up at Kondou staring back at him. He waved at her, "Uh Kondou." he said pointing to the line for her. "It's your turn." he chuckled as he waited for her to move up. Man he was hungry.

Kondou blinked, hearing Hunter speak. She then felt eyes burning holes into her skin. Her heart began to race quickly, the heart beat thumping in her ears. Kondou looked down, feeling a bit dizzy from humiliation and panic. Then, suddenly, Kondou's eyes rolled to the back of her head, as she fainted.

Hunter gasped. "Kondou!" he breathed out as people began to panic.He put his tray down as he ran to the fainted student. Teachers were trying to move the girls away as Hunter picked Kondou up. "I'll take her to the nurses office." he said as the teachers nodded to him.

Kondou nearly laid limp in Hunter's arms. She was perfectly fine. Just, a girl like her can get easily humiliated, and when she panics her body shuts down to relax. Not only that, she forgot to eat this morning and living alone with no parents she doesn't really have that much to eat.

Laying her out flat on the nurses bed he began to talk to the nurse. "She's going to be alright, right?" he asked not really sure how to take this. He was worried but at the same time confused of what to do.

The nurse just laughed and nodded. "Food and a lot of rest will do her good. "

Kondou remained out of it. Her face was only a bit paler from not eating. Yet the light pink still did not leave her face from humiliation.

Hunter sighed and relaxed. "Yeah Ok." he smiled at the nurse as he turned to Kondou. "Gave me a scare there kid." he whispered talking to himself seeing as she wasn't awake or anything. He grabbed a chair but jumped right back to get something to eat form the vending machine across from him.

After a few more minutes, Kondou's brown eyes began to flutter open. Quickly, when she realized she was laying down, she sat up and looked around.
"W-what happened?" she stammered, turning her gaze towards Hunter.

Hunter finished off his oreo and smiled at her. "Morning Sunshine." he said. "Well it's not morning, but you passes out." he shrugged handing her the oreos. "You need to get something to eat." he said. "Plus you need a lot more rest Kondou" He said sternly.

Kondou slowly took the oreo's, looking back towards Hunter. "Oh.. okay." she lowered her head slightly like a sad puppy. She studied the oreo, before slightly munching on it.

Hunter sighed leaning against the chair he sat on. "So what's with you?" he said. "Somethings wrong. I can tell." he said pointing to her. "You are exactly like my little sister." he said. His body was craving a smoke right now, but he knew he couldn't smoke in front of student or in the school building.

Kondou silently chewed the oreo, blinking her eyes at Hunter. After swallowing the delicious cookie, Kondou opened her mouth to speak. "N-nothings wrong," she answered. "I only fainted because I panicked earlier, and I was weak because I haven't eaten since yesterday."

Hunter looked at her like she was crazy but he shook it off. "Jesus." he said. Hunter looked at her like he was studying her, "Do you live with your parents or anyone?" he asked. He had seen this before.

Kondou's expression saddened as he asked that question. "No. I don't have any parents, or family." she responded softly.

Hunter nodded. "Yup." he said. "My friend was like you." he said. "I let him stay with me until he got a stable home." he explained remembering the memories. Hunter looked over at her. "If I ask the principle and pull some strings. I'll be happy to invite you to stay at my apartment."

Kondou smiled faintly, "That would be very nice," she said, blushing. "It's not fun staying in a house by yourself, I have a job, but I still can hardly get any food for myself." she sighed.

"Fine, but you got to make a deal with me Kondou. You have to promise me you'll get good grades in my class." he said holding out his hand for her to shake.

Kondou smiled slightly, and nodded. "I promise," she said, shyly shaking his hand. "English happens to be my best subject." she exclaimed. This was awesome. Every girls dream come true. Hunter was going to see if the principal would agree for him to watch over Kondou! She hoped the principal will agree, and she's sure she will anyways.

Hunter chuckled and nodded. "Good." he nodded. "Get some rest Kondou. I'll go talk to the principle." Hunter said standing up. "Here have the rest of the cookies." He smiled at her handing the bag at her before exiting the room.

Kondou smiled back, and took the bag of oreo cookies. "Thank you." she said softly, taking out another cookie and biting into it. As soon as he was out of the room, Kondou squealed to herself happily and blushed. He was so irresistble.

Hunter moved his way down the hall and into the main office. He walked into the principles office and began to talk to the large older female. After an hour of talking and getting records they had come up with an answer.

After about five minutes, when Kondou finished all the oreo cookies. She laid back down, and was fast asleep.

Hunter walked back into the nurses office chuckling softly seeing her asleep. She looked peace sleeping like that. He smirked sitting down on his seat and closing his own eyes as he leaned back.

Kondou curled up in the small hospital like bed. Usually even the slightest sound woke her up, but she was out of it.

Hunter slept as well, he didn't have any more classes that day 'cause well he just didn't. But when the bells for the school that meant they could go home, Hunter woke up. He leaned froward rubbing his eyes. He looked over at Kondou. "Hey, wake up."

Hearing the bell, and Hunter's voice. Kondou began to stir, letting out a long stretch and sitting up. "Hm?" she asked, rubbing her eyes sleepily.

Hunter yawned stretched as he stood. He dug through his jeans pockets glad to feel he still had his keys. "Come on kid. Time to go home." he smirked taking out his keys.

Kondou's eyes sparkled. "I'm going to stay with you?" she asked, almost excitedly. "I need to get my clothes from my house and stuff."

Hunter nodded. "Yeah, the principle said I can." he nodded. "But they are going to check-up on us a couple days of the week to see if it is suitable for you." Hunter shrugged. "No biggie." he nodded. "Kay, lets go to your house."

Kondou also nodded, standing up. "Okay." was all she said, before following him out of the room.

Hunter walked out of the school as everyone crowded around the yards. He walked over to the teacher parking lot and waved goodbye to another teacher before climbing into his black truck. "Hop in." he smiled at her.

Kondou followed him silently to the car. She opened the door to his black truck and got into the passenger side. "Nice truck." she complimented, smiling.

Hunter chuckled and nodded. "Thanks. My uncle gave it to me." he said. "My apartment isn't far from here." he said. "Just where is your house?" he asked.

Kondou smiled, and pointed to a neighborhood just across the school. "Right over there." she answered.

Hunter nodded following her instructions as he got of the parking lot and onto the road. Down the neighborhood he arrived at the street. "Which house?" he asked.

Kondou pointed straight foreward, "It's that stone like house right there in that circle court thingy.." Kondou said, while smiling.

Hunter chuckled and nodded listening to her own directions. Parking cross the street of the house he parked the car. "I'll stay here."

Kondou nodded, smiling. She got out of the car and walked towards her house, after unlocking the doo she headed inside to pack up the things she really needed.

Hunter leaned back in the car seat looking around his car. He was tempted once again to light up a smoke but he couldn't. He simply turned on some tunes as he looked across the street waiting for her to come back.

After a few long minutes, Kondou came back outside with a large duffle bag. As she approached the car, she smiled sheepishly at Hunter, she walked to the back of his truck and simply placed the stuff in the back. She didn't care if her stuff got dirty, the back of the truck seemed pretty clean to her. Then she dusted her hands off, and opened the car door. "Sorry it took long." she appologized, before sitting down.

"It's ok." Hunter smiled at her starting up the car. Driving out of the street and out of the neighborhood it only took about two minutes to get to his apartment complex. It was a normal looking neighborhood, nothing to worry about. Parking the car in the parking lot he looked at her. "We're home."

Kondou smiled back as they arrived. She got out of the car when he did. Without a word, she got her stuff from the back and waited for Hunter to lead the way.

Hunter locked the car. "Need help?" he asked pointing to her bags as they walked to the entrance. Opening the door for her he followed to get to the elevator.

Kondou slightly shook her head, "No thanks." she smiled, following him into the elevator.

Hunter nodded holding the elevator door for them. Pressing level five they arrived at his floor. "Room 504." he told her as he walked over opening the door with his key. It was a regular apartment that belonged to a male. Roomy enough for the two of them too.

Kondou followed. Once arriving in the apartment, Kondou tripped over her own foot, dropping her things and falling onto Hunter. She squeaked, her face turning as red as a tomato. "I'm so sorry!" she quickly said.

Hunter chuckled as he got up after her. "Please, it's alright." he told her. He dusted himself off. "I'll show you to your room." he said, "My sister use to live here until she moved into our Aunt's house." he said opening the teenage girl's room. "See."

Kondou's face remained a bright red, while she picked up her bags and walked into the room. "Oh, it's really nice." she said, while placing her stuff beside the bed. "Thanks again for letting me stay here."

Hunter smiled at her and nodded. "The bathroom is down the hall and my room is the second hallway and the only door there." he informed her. "You saw the living room and the living room is connected to the kitchen/dining room."

"Oh okay," Kondou smiled faintly. She stood their nervously, fiddling her fingers. Not sure what to say, or what to do.

Hunter smiled as he spoke again. "I'll make dinner." he said closing the door as he left heading towards the kitchen.

Kondou nodded, watching him walk off. "Do you want any help?" she asked.

Hunter shook his head, "You can unpack!" he yelled back at her as he took out his cellphone. He was a great cook but he was too tired right now to cook. So he called up the nearest pizza parlor and ordered two pizzas.

"Okay." Kondou muttered, before stepped back into the room. She glanced around, before unzipping her duffle bag and putting things away.

About 25 minutes into waiting the pizza finally arrived. Opening the apartment door the pizza man smiled at him and Hunter paid. Grabbing the boxes he sniffed the air and ooh it smelled good! "Dinner!"

Kondou finished up, and walked out of her room. Quickly catching the wiff of delicious pizza. She hurried her way into the kitchen with a smile.

Hunter got out twop plates and two cups for them. "What do you want to drink?" he asked opening the fridge.
