So, me and a friend were sitting in Chorus today, and we were doing this radio station project. We were thinking of 3 songs we had to play, and our station played country. {No derogatory comments about the genre, please. I'm a born and bred Southern belle and I pretty much grew up on the stuff until about a year ago, and even now I still listen to it occasionally.} So she said one of her other friends had told her about this one song, and how it really described our town.

And does it ever. The song is "Wal-Mart Parking Lot" by Chris Cagle. And lemme tell ya...sittin' around in a Wal-Mart parking lot is about all we can do here for fun. XD Small-town Southern living at its best, y'all! {Sorry, couldn't resist.}

So...what song describes your hometown and why? {Don't ACTUALLY put the name of your hometown though. Don't want stalkers do we?}

Eye of the Tiger

This songs describes my town becuase of our schools and the pride we have in our school teams. This song is like our trade mark song that the band plays at all foot ball games it really brings or town together. :]

Oi, I here you! I'm living in a microscopic town in Oklahoma. (Like, two houses, seriously.)

Um um ah, probably 'Long Road To Ruin' by Foo Fighters. It's a long @$$ way from the turn to the actual town. And you'd understand the 'ruin' part if you'd see it.

Wherever I May Roam by Metallica, not so much for the lyrics (since I can't be bothered interpreting them right now) but for the East-meets-West sound representing the multiculturalism of Melbourne. If someone stalked me, i'd be flattered.

2.) Highschool never ends by Bowling for Soup
