Twenty-five minutes till school started. Elizabeth was in the teachers lounge getting a cup of coffee to get her self started for the day. She sat down in one of the empty chairs and sighed softly.

Enrique pulled into the parking lot and looked at the time. Just enough time to get in the lounge he thought as he hid his sword from veiw. He got out of the car and headed to the lounge.

Elizabeth hummed the song the Choir was working on that week. She giggled softly and took a sip of her coffee. She sighed softly and closed her eyes still humming.

Enrique sighed and entered the lounge with a smile. He spotted the choir teacher and sat next to her.

Beth took her head phones off and smiled "Morning." She greeted cheerily.

"Morning," Enrique said quietly looking at her and smiling somewhat now.

Beth smiled softly as she drank her coffee. She turned her mp3 off and sighed softly "Hope the student don't try to take over my class again."

"Which student? They mihgt be coming into my Geomtry class net year," Enrique asked quietly looking at the table.

"A young man name Ezequiel Robinson." Beth said sipping her coffee again. She smiled a little than said "He's a good kind...but doesn't act it around the people he hangs around."

Enrique nodded and looked at the time. "I should get going," he said standing up, "I got a rowdy bunch in first period."

"As do I." Beth said getting up "Good to talk to you Mr...Uh.." Beth had a hard time with names.

"My name's Enrique," he said smiling.

"Okay, thank I'm bad with names." Beth said smiling. She yawned and covered her mouth. She pocketed her mp3 and rubbed under her eyes.

Enrique nodded and said, "You can call me Enri." before he walked out of the lounge and to his room.

Beth nodded and went to her room. She sat down a spun around in the chair than sighed as a few of her student started to show up.

Enrique slammed the door behind the last of his students and began to write equations down on the board for them to do.

Beth took role call than smiled as she sat at the piano. She played the warm up than started to work on the music for the annual concert.

Enrique sat at his desk and began to take rollcall.

Beth sighed as she yelled "Quiet!" for the fifth time.

Enrique smiled when the final bell rung for the day and he got up, leaving his room.

Beth said good bye to her students and put away some of the sheet musics left on the floor.

Enrique sighed as he went to his car and unlocked calmly.

Beth went out to her truck and sigh softly. She blinked than looked at the car next to her. She waved "Hey Enri."

"Hey Beth wasn't it?" Enrique said looking up from his car at her.

"Yeah I'm Beth." She said with a smile. She opened her door to her truck and put her mp3 in the seat. She turned back to him "Have a good day?"

"So-So," Enrique said sitting with his legs hanging out of the door.

Beth giggled a little and smiled "At least you did have a student threw something at your head." she sighed softly rubbing were a music book had hit her.

"I'm sorry," Enrique said giving her his apologies.

"It's okay." Beth said massaging the spot on her head softly. She jumped a little as her phone started playing 'Wanted Dead or Alive' she sighed and picked it up looking at who was calling.

Enrique slid fully into his car and put the keys in it.

Beth sighed and sat fully in her truck. She sighed as she answered the phone "Yes brother?" She sighed and listened to him rant about her not being home on time...It was like she was still a kid.

Enrique fired up his car and backed out of the parking lot after writing his number down and slipping it through her window carefully

Beth sighed as she hung up the phone. She started up her truck and than looked around before backing out.

Enrique drove on over to his hosue and parked his car into his driveway carefully.

Beth drove home and parked behind her brother. She shut off her truck and got out. Blinking she looked down at the paper and picked it up.

Enri was what the note said following the number.

Beth smiled a little than pocketed it. She sighed as her brother yelled at her for being late.

Enrique sighed as he went to his room and laid on the bed.

Ignoring her brother Beth went up to her room and shut the door. She sat down at her piano and sat her head agents the keys. She took the note from her pocket and read it again than decided on calling him.

Enrique sighed as he played with his phone, still laying on his bed.

Beth dialed his number and bit her lip as it started to ring.

Enrique picked up his phone and said, "Hello?"

'Uh hey it's me Beth." Beth said feeling stupid after she said that. She still had head head on the keys of her piano.

"Hey Beth," Enrique said smiling.

"whats up?" Beth asked lifting her head off the piano.

"Nothing much, just looking at my ceiling," Enrique said sitting up on the bed.

Beth rubbed her forehead "Sounds like a lot of fun." she joke smiling.

Enrique chuckled lightly and asked, "What're you doing?"

"Playing my piano with my head..." Beth giggled a little than said "Not really...I'm up to nothing as of right now..."

Enrique chuckled. "I need something to do besides grade papers," he said.

Beth looked down at her piano keys "Why don't you...You know go hang out with someone." she asked.

"Wanna hang out with me some time?" Enrique asked, smiling lightly.

"Sure." Beth said smiling.

"When's a good time?" Enrique asked.

"Anytime...I have nothing to do." Beth said with a small sigh.

"How about now?" Enrique asked standig up.

"Sure." Beth said smiling.

"How about the city park?" Enrique asked.

"Okay." Beth said nodding

"See you there," Enrique said ending the call.

Beth hung up the phone and went back down stair to tell her brother she was leaving.

Enrique made his way to the park and sat on an empty bench.

Beth jogged to the park. Seeing as she lived near by it.

Enrique smiled as he looked around the park.

Beth saw him and smiled and waved.

Enrique stood up and waved.

"Hey, whats up." Beth asked as she stopped in front of him.

"Ah the sky," Enrique said pointing up.

Beth giggled a little on the inside "Not literally." she said rubbing the back of her head. She smiled a little than looked around the park.

"Wanna take a walk around it?" Enrique asked, dropping his arm lightly.

"Sure, It's a nice day for a walk today anyway." Beth said looking back at him.

Enrique smiled and took her hand before he started to walk around the park.

Beth smiled and walked with him around the park. She looked up at the sky, the clouds drifted by lazily.

Enrique smiled and intertwined their fingers unconceisly.

Beth looked down at their hands. She hide a small blush as she kept walking with him.

Enrique glanced at their hands and lightly blushed also.

Beth smiled slightly and looked up at him.

"I'm sorry for making this more uncomfertable," Enrique mumbled as he looked away.

Beth looked away blushing "I-It's okay...Enri"

"It's not okay is it?" Enri asked looking at her.

Beth looked down at the ground blushing. She really didn't want to say anything.

Enri smiled and swung their arms quietly.

Beth smiled slightly and listened to the birds chirping. She closed her eyes than said "A mockingbird..."

Enri smiled and looked at her again.

Beth looked back up at him again and smiled.

"How can you tell that?" Enri asked, wandering about the mockingbird.

"The pitch and duration of the note it sings..." Beth said looked at a bird flying

Enri smiled and continued to swing their hands lightly.

Beth smiled and just listened to the sounds. Being around music and sound made her happy, the being why she was the choir teacher.

Enri smiled and looked around the park.

"So..." Beth said after awhile "So um...Would you like to go get a coffee?"

"That sounds great," Enri said quietly looking at her.

Beth smiled and lead him to her favorite cafe near the park.

Enri smiled, following her, still holding her hand.

Beth greeted the old woman running the shop before sitting down with him at a small table. The old woman came over to them "So little Beth what do you and your friend here want?" Beth smiled at the old woman "What I normally have for me."

"Whatever she has," Enri said smiling.

The old woman nodded and went to go fix the coffees. Beth looked at him and smiled a little.

Enri smiled and looked at her.

Beth looked down at her hands on the table. She hummed to her self and smiled.

"Is something the matter?" Enri asked quietly.

"Hm?" Beth looked back up at him "No nothing is wrong..." she smiled a little ass the old woman came back with their coffee.

Enri smiled and thanked the older woman as he took his coffee.

Beth thanked her and sipped her coffee. She smiled and closed her eyes humming the song in her head again.

Enri took sips of his coffee and looked out the window.

"so...Enri, how long have you thought at the school." Beth asked trying to make conversation.

"Three years," Enri said looking at her, "And you?"

"Five years now..." Beth said smiling

Erni smiled and looked out the window again.

Beth sipped her coffee "So um..What bands do you like?"

"I really like Aiden. I have all their cds," Enri said looking at her once again, "How about you?"

"I like a lot of bands. Flyleaf is one of my favorites." Beth said looking up at him.

Enri smiled and took a sip of his coffee.

Beth smiled a little and looked down at her cup.

Enri took a couple more sips and looked out the window.

Beth hummed a song to her self before the old woman said "Oh Beth, did you forget what day it is?" Beth blinked "Monday?" The old woman sighed "Karaoke day."

Enri blinked and returned his gaze to the women.

Beth sighed "Do I have to..." The old woman nodded "Yes you do now get up."

Enri chuckled and watched Beth.

The old woman drug her to the small stage in the cafe and told her to sing. Beth sighed and looked out at all the people she smirked than listened to the music play than begun to sing

Enri looked down as he traced the outer edges of his cup with his thumb.
