Ivy looked up at the large buildings in front of her. She sighed heavily, a little nervous about her first day at Cross Academy. Her dad was being a jerk and dumped her here after marrying that evil lady. Well, anywhere was better than home right now. She pushed her hair out of her face and headed further onto the grounds of the school, wondering why every single girl there seemed to be excited about something.

Yuki waited for Zero as she tried to calm down a few of the fan girls currently waiting for the Night Class to emerge. She tapped her foot impaitently, looking every which way for her partner.

Shindo signed up for the school and went outside. He really didn't want to be here but his parents said that it would be the best thing for him.

Zero showed up late and came up beside Yuki.

Kaname started walking down to the school with the other Night class members. He looked at Yuki.

"OHMIGOD! THERE THEY ARE,"one girl screamed, pushing straight past Ivy who quickly dodged out of the way of the other screaming girls. "What the heck,"she said, watching the run screaming to be stopped by a girl and a guy.

"You got here just in time Zero,"Yuki said, holding the girls back from the Night Class.

Shindo sighed as he got in line with the Night class.

Zero looked at Yuki then at the screaming girls and kept them in line.

Kaname walked by Yuki and waved.

"Ok move please,"Layla said, pushing through the girls to get to the campus. She did what she could to get to the other side which included elbowing some people. "Dear God,"she said, once she got out of the group.

Yuki waved back but couldn't take her attention off of the girls for long.

Shindo looked at all the screaming girls like they were crazy.

Zero saw Shindo and went up to Yuki. "There's a new student."

Kaname smiled and kept walking.

Ivy fixed her clothes quickly before heading back towards the school. She glanced back at the large group of students, still wondering just what they were screaming at.

"Really? Is she in this group? If so, I don't think I want to meet her,"Yuki said, looking around for a face she'd never seen before.

Zero blinked. "For one it's not a she and another he's in the Night Class."

Shindo kept walking staying silent.

Kaname looked at everyone.

"How do I get to the headmaster's office,"Ivy thought aloud, stopping to see if there were any signs saying where anything was.

"Oh. I still don't care that much,"Yuki said, shrugging.

Shindo looked at the girl who shouted about the headmaster's office and pointed to where it was.

Zero looked at Yuki then went to take care of some of the screaming girls.

Kaname finally walked inside the school.

"Oh, didn't know I said that really loud. Well thank you,"Ivy said, smiling over at him before heading to the headmaster's office.

Now that the Night class had passed, Yuki sighed happily, a bit tired from having to hold back the girls.

Shindo stayed quiet and went in. He made no contact with Kaname or the others.

Zero started walking away.

Kaname went into the classroom.

((Oh sh*t. My friend is over and has his DW open on my computer. He just told me he posted thinking he was on mine. He apologizes. :D ))

Ivy walked down the long hallways, realizing she was lost. She sighed angrily, retracing her steps.

"Oh Zero! What time are we doing patrol tonight,"Yuki asked, running over to catch up with him.

Shindo made sure he didn't enter the classroom. He started wandering the halls.

Zero looked at her. "I don't know."

Ivy started down a random hallway, counting her steps as she went to make sure she would be able to get back.

"I don't feel like it tonight but I know we have to. I miss sleeping in,"Yuki said.

Shindo saw Ivy and walked past her.

"Oh well." Zero said walking away.

Kaname stayed in class.

"Sorry to bother you but could you show me where the headmaster's office is,"Ivy asked, catching up with Shindo.

"Where you going,"Yuki asked, following beside Zero.

Shindo sighed. "Follow me."

"Somewhere." he said getting out of her grasp.

Kaname looked out the window.

"Thanks,"Ivy said, following him down the hallway. "I'm Ivy by the way,"she said.

"You're crabbier than usual,"Yuki said, continuing to walk beside him.

"I'm Shindo."

"I'm perfectly fine. Stop following me."

"Cool. Night Class right,"Ivy asked.

"Fine, Mr. Grumpy Pants,"Yuki said, stopping.

Shindo sighed. "Yeah."

Zero felt the craving for blood but he tried fighting against it.

"Is it normal for girls to be falling all over you guys,"Ivy asked.

"See you tonight then,"Yuki said, watching him walk off.

Shindo looked at her. "Well it's obvious you haven't been going here otherwise you would've known I was new too. I just know where the headmaster's office is because that's where I had to go first."

Zero got far enough away from her and took out a tablet that controlled the blood craving.

"Oh. By the looks of things outside it looked like they would be throwing themselves all over you if it weren't for the two keeping all those girls back,"Ivy said.

Yuki headed back to her room, not really sure what to do since Zero didn't want to hang out.

"That's what it looked like. I think they're all crazy."

Zero felt a little better and then started doing the night watch.

"Yeah. I'm suprised I didn't get trampled trying to get through them,"Ivy said laughing.

Yuki decided to do watch since she had nothing else to do. She grabbed her staff before heading outside.

"Oh well."

Zero ran into Yuki.

"When did you start here,"Ivy asked.

"Sorry about that. Guess I wasn't watching where I was going,"Yuki said, rubbing her nose, smiling up at him.

"Just today. But since we don't do anything till the night I didn't have any classes to go to."

"That's ok. I decided to do the watch now too."

"Wow. I figured when you said you were new too, I thought you meant you'd at least been here a week,"Ivy said.

"We must have some friend brain powers that make us think the same things and do the same things,"Yuki said, grinning.

"No. I've only been here today."

"Yeah. I don't think so." Zero said walking.

"Cool. Shouldn't you be in class right now then, if you're part of the Night Class,"Ivy asked.

"But it wouldd be cool if we did,"Yuki said, following beside him.

"Yeah I should but I decided to skip."

Zero rolled his eyes and continued on with the night watch.

"Is that the way to start off your first day here,"Ivy inquired, raising an eyebrow.

"Don't talk so much Zero,"Yuki said sarcastically.

"Eh. I really don't care. But I do have to warn you, don't get cut and bleed."

Zero ignored her.

"What's the problem with that,"Ivy asked, a confused look on her face.

"Okay the silence is killing me. You can't always not talk,"Yuki said, rolling her eyes.

"Just trust me." Shindo said to her.

Zero looked at her. "I do it all the time."

Kaname wondered where the new student went.

"Are you guys like vampires or something,"Ivy teased, laughing slightly.

"But I mean you have to have something to say,"Yuki said, looking over at him.

Shindo blinked. She had no idea how right she was.

"No I don't." Zero lied.

"Are we to the headmaster's office yet? He's probably wondering where I am,"Ivy said, realizing they had been walking for what seemed like a long time now.

"Everyone has something to say or talk about. It's unhealthy to keep it all in,"Yuki said, nudging him playfully in the side.

Shindo stopped when they reached a door. "Here it is."

Zero looked at her. He then started walking ahead of her.

"Well, thanks again for showing me where it's located. I'll see you around Shindo,"Ivy said, smiling at him after knocking on the headmaster's door and hearing him tell her to come in.

"See? You do that every time,"Yuki said, skipping over to catch up with him.

"Yeah ok bye." Shindo said to her and then left.

Zero looked at Yuki.

Ivy had a short talk with the headmaster about the rules and everything of the school. He mentioned something about the Night Class being off limits or something which confused her a bit. Afterwards she left his office, now with a map of the grounds, and headed to find her rooms.

"Nothing to say at all,"Yuki asked.

Shindo still wasn't in class and was wondering the grounds.

"Nothing at all." Zero said to her and started walking ahead again."

Ivy sighed, finally finding the exit to the the building she was in. She shivered lightly in the cool air as she hurried towards her building.

"Have much homework to do,"Yuki asked, once again hurrying to catch up.

Shindo kept walking around. He then saw two people. They were the same ones who kept all the girls back. He hid behind a wall.

"No." Zero said and kept walking around.

Personality: She's playful and loves to have a good time. She's not really one for the rules and doesn't fit in that much with the girls of Cross which is how she likes it.

Ivy was about to enter her building when she was pulled into a bush. "What the heck are you doing,"she yelled, turning to see who grabbed her.

"You of all people should know that I like to be out at Night Ivy,"Sarah said, grinning at her old friend.
"Whoa! You go here,"Ivy said, hugging her tightly.
"Sure do,"Sarah replied.

"Lucky. I still have some to do from a few days ago unfortunately,"Yuki said sighing.

"Hurry up and walk on." Shindo whispered quietly.

"Sucks for you."

"Whoa! Man make a little noise next time Shindo,"Ivy said, jumping at the sound of his voice.

"Why would we do that,"Sarah asked, looking past Ivy to him.

"Thanks for your sympathy,"Yuki said sarcastically.

"Not you. Those two." Shindo whispered pointing.

Zero kept walking in silence.

"Why do they have to leave? Are they doing something wrong,"Ivy asked, glancing at the two.

"Maybe he just thinks they're walking to slow,"Sarah said.

Yuki whislted, not being able to just be silent.

"Hello. Do either of you listen? They're the night watch. They make sure the Night Class stays in their classes and the Day class stays in their rooms. If we're caught out here we'll be in trouble." He wasn't going to say everything that they do.

Zero looked at her like she was weird.

"Oh c'mon. I've gotten caught before. It's not too bad,"Sarah said, crawling onto Ivy's back.

"What happens if they do catch you,"Ivy asked, holding Sarah up.

"Well you won't talk so this is what I do to fill the void,"Yuki explained.

"I don't know. Ask her. I just know who they are."

"Whatever." Zero said starting to walk ahead again.

"Sarah...,"Ivy inquired, turning to look at her.

"Well they didn't really catch me. They got close though but I ducked into some bushes before they could,"Sarah said, grinning at her.

Yuki followed a little ways behind, her whistling starting up again.

"Well that's just great." Shindo said.

Zero sighed and walked past the bush.

Ivy and Sarah sat really still as they heard Zero pass, trying to hold in laughter. They were both bad under pressure often laughing when needed to be quiet.

Yuki thought she heard the bush by her rustle but ignored it.

Shindo looked at the two.

Zero looked at the bush. "Get out of there now."

"F*ck. You first,"Ivy said, throwing Sarah off her back.

"We're innocent,"Sarah said, standing up with her hands raised above her head, Ivy following shortly behind.

"So there was something in the bush,"Yuki said, stopping next to Zero and looking at the two girls.

"You too."

Shindo sighed and came out.

"It's not their fault. I had some trouble finding my dorm and they were helping me out,"Ivy explained. At least half of it was true, she really was looking for her dorm.

"Yeah. Her map was confusing and I was coming back from the library. I fell asleep studying,"Sarah said, which really was true.

"A likely story,"Yuki said. "And what's your excuse,"she asked Shindo.

Shindo started thinking. "Well I originally helped her find the headmaster's office and then got lost and couldn't find my way back to class." he said pointing at Ivy.

"Yeah that's pretty much what happened,"Ivy said.

"So can we leave please. I have yet to resume the nap I started in the library,"Sarah said, yawning.

"Alright. Since your new you get a warning,"Yuki said.

Shindo waved. "Ok." He then ran off

Zero watched him.

"Well we'll just be on our way then,"Ivy said, grabbing Sarah and pulling her over to the dorm. "That was close,"she said, once inside.

"Totally was,"Sarah agreed.

"So there's a new guy and girl,"Yuki said, once they had all left.

"Yeah. One in day and one in night."

"Well I'll see you tomorrow. I need sleep,"Ivy said waving to Sarah before heading into her room.

"See ya,"Sarah said, going into the room across the hall.

"Back to patrolling now,"Yuki said boredly.

Shindo stayed out of class.

"Yeah." Zero said starting to walk again.

Ivy sat her stuff down then opened her window. She glanced around then climbed out, sitting on the slant part of the roof. She wasn't really tired and probably wouldn't be for at least another hour.

"That's the only excitement we'll probably get all week,"Yuki commented, walking behind him.

"You know you really should be careful." Shindo said standing beside her.

Zero only shrugged.

"How did you get up here,"Ivy asked, her eyes a little larger than normal from suprise.

"Back to silent mode,"Yuki asked him.

Shindo smiled. "I have my ways."

"I'm always silent."

[MuchoMachoMachine]

"Alright then. Are you allowed to be near the girls dorm,"Ivy asked.

"I haven't noticed,"Yuki said, kicking a rock as she walked.

"Don't know don't care."

Zero kept walking. "I don't think anything else is going to happen. Good night."

"So long as you don't sneak into my room, I don't mind you coming up here,"Ivy said, yawning slightly.

"Oh. Night,"Yuki said, watching him go before heading back to her room.

"I wouldn't do that."

Zero went to his room.

"Good, cause that'd be weird. So what're you doing here,"Ivy asked, looking over at him.

"I don't know. I had nothing better to do."

Class was over and Kaname came out.

"I see. Looks like the class you were supposed to be in let out,"Ivy said, noticing a few Night Class students.

"How did he get up here without using the door,"Sarah asked, scrambling on to the roof and between Ivy and Shindo.

Shindo blinked in surprise. "Oh hi again. I have my ways."

"That's what he said to me,"Ivy said.

"Hmph. Ooooooh look. Night Class. It's weird how totally hot all of them are,"Sarah said, nudging Ivy in the ribs.

"Are you saying I'm hot?" Shindo asked.

Kaname kept walking and not looking up at the roof.

Ivy laughed, trying to be quiet.

"Since your part of the Night Class yes I am,"Sarah replied, looking over at him.

Shindo blushed a little and tried to hide it.

"You're now the color of a tomato,"Sarah observed as Ivy snorted next to her.

"No I'm not." he said.

"An apple then,"Sarah suggested, grinning at him.

"I'm not red." he said getting annoyed.

"Well you were but it went away,"Sarah said, turning to look out over the grounds.

Shindo looked at her and then at Ivy.

"It's true. You were a little red,"Ivy said, grinning at him.

"I was not." Shindo argued.

[MuchoMachoMachine]

"Pretty sure you were,"Sarah commented.

Ivy simply nodded her agreement.

"No I wasn't." he said getting annoyed again.

[MuchoMachoMachine]

"Dude we both saw it. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. Everyone blushes,"Sarah said.

"I wasn't blushing." he said.

"Then what do you call it when your cheeks turn all red from embarassment,"Sarah asked, looking over at him, eyebrows raised.

Shindo tried to think of something. When he couldn't he stayed silent.

"Seeeee. We win,"Sarah said, smiling in satisfaction.

"I'm tired,"Ivy said, yawning and laying back on the roof.

Shindo jumped off the roof.

"Hey! Where ya going,"Sarah asked, leaning over the side to watch him.

Shindo landed perfectly on the ground with out getting hurt.

"Are you part cat or something? I probably would've broken something doing that,"Sarah called to him.

Shindo looked up at them and smiled. "No but you can try another guess and remember don't ever get cut and bleed here."

"I could land on my feet. Gymnatics taught me to do that,"Ivy said, crawling over to the side. "Are you going to your room Shindo,"she asked.

"Yeah I figure might as well."

[MuchoMachoMachine]

"Aww okay. See you tomorrow then,"Ivy said, waving to him.

"Bye bye Shindo,"Sarah exclaimed waving as well.

Shindo waved and went to his room.

Kaname was waiting for him. "Where were you? You were supposed to be in class."

"He was so insanely goregous,"Sarah said once he was gone.

"Yeah but there was one that I saw today who was extremely goregous,"Ivy said laughing. "I need sleep so c'mon. In you go,"she said, pushing Sarah back inside.
"So pushy. I'll see you tomorrow then. Night,"she said, walking out of Ivy's room.

"None of your business." Shindo said to him. He wasn't afraid of Kaname even if he was a pureblood. Shindo wasn't going to be like the others and do whatever he was told to do.

Kaname blinked surprised.

Ivy unpacked a few of her things before settling down on her bed. She gazed up at the ceiling, her fingers tapping next to her on the bed. She still wasn't very tired and was now bored.

Kaname walked out of the room. It was obvious he wasn't going to get anything out of Shindo.

Shindo sighed and laid down.

Zero started having a craving for blood again. He took a pill to stop the craving.

Ivy sighed, sitting up. She turned on her ipod, hooking it up to the speakers in her room. She changed into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt before grabbing the bottle of pills from her bag. She had trouble sleeping and she had been perscribed these when she was said to have insomnia. She held the bottle for a moment before setting it down. She didn't mind taking them but sometimes it took her a while to wake up and for the pills to wear off.

Shindo stayed in his room and converse with any of the other vampires.

Ivy, after pacing for about 15 minutes in her room, finally felt tired enough to get some sleep. She stretched a bit before crawling into her bed. She pulled the sheets up to her chin, stretching out on her bed. She stared at the wall across from her, waiting for sleep to take over.

Shindo fell asleep.

Zero fell asleep in his room.

Kaname laid down on his bed. This new student was going to be curious as with the other new one.

Ivy found herself awake once again. She kicked her blankets off and got up. Sometimes the cool air made her tired so she crawled back out her window. She sat halfway inside and halfway out. This usually worked when she needed to get sleep and didn't want the pills.

Shindo woke up. He couldn't sleep either.

Ivy picked up the bottle again, seriously considering taking a few of the small pills now. She sighed, dumping a few in her hand before dry swallowing them. In about 15 minutes, she would most likely be asleep.

Shindo sighed and started walking around. There was no way the Night Watch would be out now.

Ivy began tapping her fingers on the window sill. Her arms felt tingly as did her legs. Her pills usually made her feel like this before she fell asleep.

Shindo walked right by the girls dorm.

Ivy whistled boredly, waiting for the tingly feeling to be replaced with lethargy.

Shindo looked up and saw Ivy.

Ivy began counting backwards from 100, one of the routines she used to help her get to sleep.

Shindo jumped up and landed on the roof. "Having trouble sleeping too?" he said.

"You must be part monkey or something,"Ivy said, looking over at him. "Yeah. Insomniacs usually do,"she replied.

"Ok. First cat now monkey. What's next?" he said joking.

"Hmmm... bird probably,"Ivy responded, smiling at him.

"Sorry. Can't be that. I can't fly and I don't have wings."

"A lemur then,"Ivy said.

"Hmm that could work but no."

"I'm all out of ideas,"Ivy said, leaning back on her hands.

Shindo laughed. "Good because I'm not part any animal."

"Then what are you,"Ivy asked.

Shindo sighed. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

"Try me,"Ivy said.

"I'm a vampire." he said quietly.

"Oh cool. I used to live next to one,"Ivy said, examining her nails.

Shindo blinked. "Really?"

[MuchoMachoMachine]

"Yup. Tried to suck my blood once but my parents chased him away and then we moved. Kinda sucked... haha. Get it? Sucked,"Ivy said, grinning at him.

Shindo didn't laugh. "Well here they give us pills to keep us from sucking blood."

[MuchoMachoMachine]

"Creative. That's something we have in common. Pills,"Ivy said, her limbs filling a bit heavy now along with her eyelids.

"And you better get to bed before you fall out the window."

[MuchoMachoMachine]

"Probably. Well, I shall see you tomorrow Shindo... and your secret's safe with me,"Ivy said, winking at him before slipping back in through the window and closing it gently. She drew her curtains and crawled in bed, soon falling asleep at last.

Shindo smiled and jumped off the roof.

((Time skipage to morning.))

"Get up Ivy,"Sarah yelled, pounding on her door before walking in.

"The pills haven't worn off yet,"Ivy complained, soon falling back to sleep.

Shindo had went back to his room but he didn't sleep.

"You can't skip on your first day,"Sarah complained, pulling open the curtains.

"Tell them I'm sick,"Ivy said, putting her pillow over her head.

Shindo sighed. He'd be confined to his room all day.

Zero got up and started heading for class.

Kaname was still asleep.

"Fine. But I'm not always going to be covering for you,"Sarah said but realized Ivy had fallen back to sleep. She smiled shaking her head and headed out and to her class.

Yuki was already outside and on the way to her class.

Shindo groaned. This was going to be boring.

Zero bumped into Yuki.

Sarah really didn't want to go to class today but knew she'd get in a lot of trouble if she skipped.

"Hey Zero! Sleep good,"Yuki asked, smiling at him.

"Yes." Zero said heading to class.

[MuchoMachoMachine]

"That's good. I'm probably going to fall asleep in class though. I'm still pretty tired,"Yuki said as she followed along beside him.

Zero said nothing. Falling asleep in class was natural for her. There was no point in him pointing it out.

"Just wake me up if the teacher calls on me or anything and I don't wake up,"Yuki said as they walked.

"Yeah ok." Zero said going into the classroom.

Yuki shook her head, knowing he probably wouldn't, as she sat down in her seat.
