Zoey sat in a limo with her grandmother and dog,staring out the window. The limo stopped and her grandmother opened the door, the dog somehow managing to get out of it's cage.It jumped out of the limo,charging down the street

David was sitting in an alleyway clutching his stomach. He was starving.

Zoey got out of the car.
"Mikki!"She yelled,running after the dog.

Mikki slowed to a stop and stared at David.After a few seconds, she ran to him and licked his face

David looked at the dog and started petting it. "Hey and where'd you come from?" he said smiling. His stomach started growling again and he put his arms around himself again.

Mikki lay against David and closed her eyes.
Zoey saw Mikki and gasped quietly,running to her and David.
"What are you doing with my dog?!"

David looked up at her. "I'm not doing anything. Your dog came to me." he said to her angrily.

Zoey glared at him for a moment.
"Mikki!"She yelled as the dog pirked up,but stayed laying by David." Mikki,Come!"She yelled,stepping closer.
Mikki stood and growled,showing her sharp teeth,and about ready to attack Zoey.

"Mikki calm down. It's ok." David said since he heard the dog's name.

Mikki growled more as Zoey screamed slightly,falling backwards.
"Mikki! Stop this at once!"She yelled. Mikki ran at Zoey,her eyes glassy,and almost red

David got up and ran over to Zoey. "Mikki! Calm down!"

Mikki stopped as David appeared in sight. She slowed down and layed next to him again,closing her eyes.
Zoey sat there,shaking sightly,staring up at David

David bent down and started petting Mikki again.

Mikki wagged her tail as Daved pet her.
Zoey slowly stood,hearing alow growl from Mikki as she did so

"Shh. It's ok. Stay calm." David said still petting her and he looked at Zoey.

Mikki stopped growling and just lay there,wagging her tail.
Zoey stared at David confused.

"What?" David asked Zoey. He thought she was looking at him like he was insane.

Zoey loked away from him,crossing her arms and saying nothing

David's stomach growled again and he put his arms around it again.

"...Um...Would you...Like to stay with us for a while?..."She asked quietly. She wanted him around mostly because Mikki was acting so weird, but she felt kinda bad for David too

Mikki opened her eyes,loking up at David, knowing what he had said.she was getting excited.There'd be someone that wouldn't yell at her

David continued petting Mikki. "What did you do to this dog? I've never seen a dog growl at it's owner before unless something bad was done to it."

Zoey looked away from him again.
"I didn't do anything to my Mikki."

"Well something must've happened." David said looking at Mikki.

Mikki got up and licked David.
"I didn't do anything!"Zoey insisted

David laughed at being licked in the face. "I didn't mean that you did it. I'm saying that maybe somebody or something else might've happened that made her mad at you."

"Why would Mikki be mad at me if something else did something to her?"Zoey asked,looking at David again

David shrugged. "I don't know but could you think of any other reason if you didn't do anything?"

Zoey sat down,thinking.After a few minutes she sighed slightly.
"My friend lives with us and he always yells at Mikki."

"Oh. Well that's not good."

Zoey shook her head slowly,glancing up at the darkening sky.
"We should go..."

David got up. "Come on Mikki."

Mikki slowly stood after David did and walked tworads the limo,Zoey following slowly behind

David followed Zoey nervously. He felt weird following a rich girl.

Zory opened the door to the limo as Miki hopped inside.Zoey waited for David to get in befor she did.

Zoey grabbed his arm and walked into the house,to the kitchen,Mikki running in after them

David smiled and let her take him to the kitchen.

David blinked. "I don't really know. Anything would work I guess."

Zoey nodded slightly as the chef started to cut up fish

David watched him. His stomach started growling again.

After a few minutes,the sushi was done.
Zoey handed the tray of fish to David.

David took one and took a small bite.

David ate all the sushi that was on the tray. "I have never eaten so much in my life." he said smiling.

The chef started to make more sushi

David watched him. "Thanks for doing this for me." he said to Zoey.

Zoey smiled back at David as the chef finnished the sushi

David started eating again. "This is really good."

A man walked into the room,pulling Mikki in with him.

The man stoped and stared at David.
"Who's he?"He asked,glancing at Zoey.

The man scoffed and dragged Mikki to the door across the room and walked out.
Mikki whimpered as she was pulled out of the room

"My friend that I meantioned earlier..."Zoey said quietly,still loking at the floor

"He doesn't seem like a friend. He seems like a jerk." David said looking at where the man had been.

"He is."Zoey muttered,sitting in a chair near by

David sat down next to her. "How is he a friend?"

"He was...Before he moved in..."

"Oh." David said looking down. "I'm sorry."

"Don't worry about it

"Well I'm finished eating." David said smiling at her trying to cheer her up.

"Kay..."Zoey said quietly as the chef came and took the tray to wash it

"He doesn't appreciate me being here does he?"

"He doesn't want anyone in here but me and him...That's why he's always so mean to Mikki..."

"So what do you think he'll do?"

"I don't know what it will be this time...But when I brought Mikki home for the first time...He tried to kill her..."

David blinked surprised by hearing this.

Zoey sighed slightly and glanced up at David

"I appreciate you taking me here."

Zoey smiled a little.
"...Would you like me to show you to your room?"

"Yeah sure. That would be great." David said smiling.

Zoey stood and walked tworads a bid metalic door nad opened it.There was a long hallway with a bunch of doors,and at the end of the hall,a staryway leading upstairs.

Zoey went up the staris and to a door,opening it,revealing a huge room with a bed,taking about half of it, a T.V., dresser and radio.
"We can get you some cloths later if you want."Zoey said,looking at him and smiling

David blinked. He wasn't used to having all this. "Yeah sure."

Zoey nodded.
"Alright.And if you need anything,I'll be in my room.First door on the right when you go down the stairs."

"Ok." David said walking around the room.

Zoey walked back down and to her room,closing her door behind her.She pulled out a few papers from under her bed and started to write something.

David laid down on the bed. It was so comfortable. Better than the hard ground. He fell asleep straight away.

After writing for a while,zoey set the papers below her again, slowly fading into a deep sleep

David didn't wake up till morning.

Zoey woke up early the next morning after hearing Mikki yelp.

David got up and started looking around the room again.

Zoey got out of her bed and wlaked out of her room,looking down the hall.
"Mikki! C'm here girl!"She called quietly,seeing Mikki walk out of her 'friends' room.

David came out of the room and went downstairs.

Zoey let Mikki into her room and looked up as David came down.
"Mornin'!"

"Yea..."She said quietly,closing her eyes.
Mikki kept licking David

"He actually went to that...Almost got sent to jail while in the class..."Zoey muttered,sitting on her bed."

"And I can't kick him out because he'll try and kill al three of us..."

David sighed. "There's got to be some way to get rid of him."

David blinked. "I wasn't thinking that."

David went and sat next to her. He was surprised.

Zoey stared at the grond,saying nothing.Mikki jumped up on the bed between Zoey and David

Zoey smiled a little again and walked to the door,shutting it and locking it so her 'friend' couldn't get in.

"Because...You stopped Mikki from attacking me..."Zoey sighed."...And I felt kinda bad..Seeing you sitting out there by yourself...'She said quietly.

"Are you hungry at all?"

"Thank you.” She said smiling at him. There was a big plate of pancakes, a drink and silverware on the tray.

David picked up somethings to lighten Zoey's load.

Zoey continued writing on the papers.After a while,there was another knock on the door,and a loud crash from Mark's room.(her 'friend')

"Mark probobly has some friends over...again..."SHe muttered as she opened the door.Mark pushed Zoey out of the way and walked into the room,staring at David and Mikki,

Mark smirked and walked to David,not doing anything else though

Mark reached in his pocket and there was a slight click.The sound of metal hitting against metal. Zoey ran infront of him,holding her arms out to protect David if needed.

David got up. "What are you planning on doing with that?" he asked suspiciously.

Mark motioned to Mikki,gripping the knife tightly.
Mikki stood on the bed and growled slightly.
Zoey stayed infront of Matk.

David went to the door. "Mikki come here."

Mark tried to get Mikki but Zoey stopped him.

David ran out of the room with her.

Zoey nodded slightly and glanced back tworads her room,seeing her cloths flying everywhere.

"He's going to make a mess isn't he?"

"Why does he look through your stuff? It's not like you're hiding something from him."

"Cause he's an idiot."Zoey said laying down on the floor

"Well I'm going to talk to him." David said heading to her room.

David went into her room and saw Mark.

"None of you business.” Mark muttered and continued looking.

"No but it is Zoey's since you're looking in her room. Besides if you tell us what it is we could help you find it."

Mark shot David a glare.
"I don't need your help!"

David looked at him angrily. "No but it's obvious you need someone's help. But apparently nobody else is trying."

Mark stopped going through Zoey's dresser and walked to David,clenching his fists.

David stood his ground. He wasn't afraid of Mark.

Mark stood still for a moment,then threw a punch at David.

Mark shrugged,his smirk turning to a grin as he walked out of the room.
