Alexander, or Lexie as his sister liked to call him, rolled out of bed and hit the floor square on his butt. He groaned in pain and rubbed the sore spot.

[Akai_Tenshi]

Emily peeked into the room. "Lexie! Get up, I've made breakf--" She saw him sitting on the floor, rubbing his butt. "What are you doing?" She asked, rising an eyebrow.

"What does it look like?" Lexie asked looking at her as he stood up. He continued to rub his butt as he walked over to her in pain.

Emily chuckled and patted his head. "Well, I've made breakfast. Mom and dad had to go early today." She said and smiled to him. She enjoyed being alone with her brother.

"I'll be down there in a minute. I gotta fix my contacts," Lexie said smiling at her. He ruffled her hair and limped to the bathroom.

"Allright." Emily smiled and hurried down the stairs. She was really hungry, but she always waited for her brother before eating. She yawned and grinned.

Lexie opened the bathroom mirror cabinet and took out his contacts holder. He closed the cabinet and proceded to change his contacts hurridly. He ran down the stairs blinking hurridly.

Emily smiled as she took a plate and placed it on the table. She stared at the clock and sighed. Luckily it was saturday, so no school. She giggled and sat down.

"Damn," Lexie said under his breath as he tried to fix his contact while standing in the doorway, "Why me?" He pouted slightly until he was able to fix the problem and looked at her.

Emily rised an eyebrow. "What now?" She asked with a small grin. "You know, you don't really need to wear contacts anyways." She added.

"They're for reading and I like to have them in," Lexie mumbled as he walked over to her. He looked at the plate and took a whiff of it.

[Akai_Tenshi]

Emil giggled. "You could use glasses, too." She took a bite of her breakfast. "So, you have any plans for today?" She asked, hoping he would stay home with her. But he probably wanted to spend time with his friends instead.

Lexie took his seat and began to eat quietly. "Most of my friend are out of town or spending time with their families this week. Something about college prepping," he said quietly.

Emily nodded. "I see." She smiled. "I'm going to rent a movie today. You want to come?" She asked, placing her chin in the palm of her hand.

Lexie nodded as he poked around at his food. He put the fork with food on it to his mouth and took a bite.

Emily smiled. "What do you want to see, then?" She asked, tilting her head. Then she yawned and closed her eyes for a moment.

"What were you planning on making?" Lexie asked looking at her calmly. He finished his plate and walked to the sink with it.

[Akai_Tenshi]

Emily rolled her eyes. "Actually, it was mom. She made it last night." She muttered. She rised from the table and left the plate on it without even taking a bite. She walked up the stairs.

"Emily! I meant what are planning on renting?" Lexie called after her and running after. He sighed as he touched her arm gently. "I'm sorry."

Emily sighed and smiled. "Why are you saing sorry? I'm not hungry, that's all." She said.

"What would you like to rent though?" Lexie asked her quielty.

[Akai_Tenshi]

"You know horror is my favorite genre." Emily said, patting his forehead.

[DennyxHawkIonari]

"But which movie?" Lexie asked looking at her.

[Akai_Tenshi]

Emily shrugged. "I have no idea, actually." She said, smiling a little. She ran a hand trough her hair and stared out the window. It was raining.

Lexie looked out the window and felt his modd dampen slightly, so he walked away from her.

Emily sighed and looked at her brother. Then she shrugged and went into his room, laying on the bed and closing her eyes. His bed was much more comfortable than her own.

Lexie watched his sister, memorizing every move she made. Eventually he followed her into his room.

Emily sighed and made herself comfortable. "Why is your bed so much better than mine, Lexie?!" She murmured.

"I don't know," Lexie said quietly leaning against the door frame, "I really don't."

Emily sighed again, yawning. She had already forgotten about the movie, didn't feel like waiting for the bus in this weather anyways. So she had to figure out something else to do to get rid of her boredom.
