don't shoot.. I just like writing about girls falling into wierd places. and them kissing. -giggles- ^^
Ami trudged down the road to the high school. Today was going to suck, and she knew it. If only yesterday didn't exist.. but that wasn't possible.
"I am an idiot." She informed the weeping willow by the large pond that she passed every day. "I mean, I was stupid. Beating up a gang leader because he hit on me and then proceeding to take out the others.. why the hell did I reveal myself like that? I don't even like fighting. I'd druther read." She told the tree, going to the edge of the water and kneeling. HEr flaming red hair was braided back so that it went down to the middle of her back, and her skirt meant she was very careful- she hated short skirts but it was the only thing clean. She leaned in, as the pond began to show her things. People fighting, dragons.. a child. A mage. She didn't notice the boys behind her- ones who just kinda hated her, and didn't need a reason to pick on her- until they shoved her in.
"BWAAH!" She flailed as she crashed into the water. The boys ran off, laughing, to school.
She, on the other hand..
the first thing she noticed was that she was soaking wet. Then she noticed that she was still falling. Then she noticed she was about 1,000 feet in the air and quickly closing in on the ground.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" She screamed, flailing, and making herself turn in the air, and blacking out.
Like it? Love it? Want to strangle me?

Ami came awake with someone touching her shoulder. Thinking it was one of the guys in her class, she reacted badly, punching the dude's face.
"OW!" A young man with a ponytail stumbled back and fell on his rump. "that hurt!" Ami looked around frantically.
"who are you? Where the hell am I?" She noticed she was still dressed and her gym bag was beside her. Grabbing it, she tried to stand, wobbling.
"Miss, sit down before you fall, I'll explain if you'll calm down!" The young man stood up, holding his hands up and facing out in a gesture of peaceful intent. "I'm Koji, and you are in Dragonslayer Castle."
"What the hell is Dragonslayer Castle?" Ami returned, siting and looking at him grouchily.
"Uh, its where we train dragons and thier riders..."
"WHAT?" Ami yelled at him, standing again with her fists clenched. Great, I'm in the world of the pond that I see every morning. Just great. she thought. "How the hell did I get herE?"
"You, um, fell out of the sky." Koji said, backing away. "Please calm down.. i'll get my sister.. we are to escort you to the ruler's hall."
"And that is?"
"Where someone will explain more fully!"
"Fine." Ami plopped down, crossing her arms. Koji left the room and came back in, followed by his sister.
"This is Aria. I'll just go now.." He left, leaving behind a very pretty young woman.
"I'm aria." She was wearing something like a japanese kimono, and Ami eyed her with distrust. She had clothes over her arm though... "Whats your name?"
"Me? I'm Ami..."
"Nice to meet you. I know where there is a bath, and I'll let you change."
"Into what?"
"Umm.. something like this." She gestured at her own clothes. Ami sighed.
"Can you fight in it?" She asked, standing.
"Yes."
"Fine." Ami had her own clothes, but the outfit looked nice...
They emerged from the bathing room feeling much better. Aria had calmed Ami down considerably, simply by singing quietly as she helped Ami with the unusual clothing and letting Ami do her own hair.
Ami's hair was now up in a gentle bun, having been dried by something similar to a hair dryer. the kimono-type outfit made her look her age- instead of about 13, she looked 16. Her green eyes stood out, because of the deep blue of the robe and the strong red of her hair. Aria looked good as well, with black hair and a white kimono.
Koji, wearing the loose pants and shirt in green with the same black hair, stared when he saw them. "Ahh.."
"Yeah?" Ami glared at him. Wisely, he simply bowed as Ami followed Aria down a large hall.
"When we go in, bow." Aria whispered to Ami before touching the door gently.
Ami had retained her gym bag- she had changed. She was wearing jeans and a tank top under the kimono, because of her hatred of skirts.
The door creaked open, and Koji bowed as Aria curtsied. Ami curtsied and bowed, straitening as they did.
"My lord, may we present Miss Ami, of Earth?" The siblings said at the same time before nudging Ami forward. Ami walked in, and had to rely on her training to hide her surprise. Before her was a large hall, filled with people and dragons. The people all stared at her, and she noticed there were no redheads. But then she noticed the dragons. They came in every color, and were looking at her, heads gtting so close she wanted to run. instead, she clutched her gym bag and stopped at the bottom of a short set of stairs which led up to a man draped in heavy robes and a large blue dragon.
"Hello miss Ami. I'm Emporer Cain." Ami just looked at him.
"You have nothin to say?" He asked, looking at her with a suddenly cold gaze.
"I don't know what the hell is going on. I don't even know where I am. Pardon me if I'm a little reluctant to speak to someone who looks like a true idiot!" Ami snapped.
Everyone gasped, including her escort. But the emporer just started laughing.
"You spoke your mind." Noted the dragon, snaing it's blue head to look at her closely. "That's a first." It's voice was deep and resonating. "I'm Jasmine. He is an idiot, soo.." the dragon giggled.
Ami blinked. "Okay?" She said, a little stunned.

lOl wow even the dragon agreed
with her.
The dragon smiled, and the Emporer calmed.
"I like girls who speak thier minds. You are in Galen- the name of our world. And you, obviously, have magic, or you couldn't have come through the portal. Though it is obviously latent..." He smiled. "You'll have to stay here I'm afraid."
The couriers whispered amongst themselves, then a large horn-blast sounded. Ami jumped, turning towards the threat in a fighter's crouch.
It simply heralded a large white tiger.
"Cassidy! I thought you had decided never to come here." Said Jasmine.
"I sensed my mind-mate." the tiger grumbled. "I'm cassidy, and you are MINE." the tiger informed Ami, sitting n front of her.
Ami, who had already been streaching her credibility, reached out and scratched the tiger's ears before passing out.

OMG whats wrong with her? Hope she's ok.

Ami came awake with a groan. For a moment she was confused- why was she laying next to a tiger?
then it all came back to her, and she groaned.
"Ami? YOu are awake?" Aria's voice, low and worried, wrapped into ehr ears.
"Unfortunately.." Ami sat up, finding herself leaning against a tiger even when she sat.
"I was most worried for you." Said The tigress, whose name, ami dimly recalled, was Cassidy.
"I'm fine. I'm just a little shocked. this is.. very different."
"It's okay..." Aria said, moving and sitting next to her. Ami rubbed her eyes, thankful for the kimono. It was good for wiping eyes on.
Ami sighed, rubbing her eyes. She felt out of place- not knowing everything that these people seemed to consider normal had already taken its toll. Aria suddenly put an arm around her.
"You seem upset, even if you are quite alive and fine." Aria observed. Ami blinked, relaxing against the other girl.
"I'm out of place here- I don't walk, look, or act right." Ami said with a harsh laugh. Aria looked at her.
"Don't feel that way. You will change this place for the better, I think." Aria gently reassured.
Ami blinked, looking up at her. "Really? I'm not that important.."
"The emperor's dragon likes you. Trust me- you will be wanted as a friend by many."
"I don't want to be political.. and I don't want to loose sight of myself."
"I'll stay with you." Aria said gently. "You seem like you will fix many things here, and you will need a guide."
Ami looked up at her- then smiled. "Thank you."

oh lOl. thats good that Aria is helping her and Im glad shes ok.
Aria and ami got up, as did Cassidy.
"And ami, if she isn't aorund, there is always me. I'm smart, and besides, people respect me." interjected the tiger.
"I figured.." Ami said. She suddenly blushed as her stomach growled. Aria laughed.
"Come. Lets get you some food." Aria took Ami's hand. Ami subconciously grasped Cassidy's ruff as the trio moved forward to the dining hall.
When they entered the mess hall, it was very crowded. Aria guided the two through the crowd to where they could get some food when there was a loud, pained scream.
Ami didn't even think. she tore OFF the kimono, revealing her jeans and tank top, and ran for the scream. Cassidy and Aria followed after a moment of shock.
Soon they were at the source of the screams. A girl- maybe 12- was trying to gt away from a number of men. Ami didn't even pause- she jumped up, over the girl's head, and kicked the one holding her smack in the face. "RUN KID!" She yelled- the girl obeyed.
Ami got to work fighting, as there were a few more left.
One ran at her with a knife. She got out of the way, but he hid her in the arm. she winced, grabbed his hand, and twisted it so it broke.
Another grabbed her braid, yanking her close- only to have her stomp his foot and punch his throat.
One more- the largest- was left.
He came at her, getting his hands on her waist. he punched her with one hand, giving her a spot where she was going to have a bruise (and a split lip) from it, later.
She bit him, kicking, punching, scratching- finally he went down.
Ami stood, wobbling. She had lost blood through her cut, and was blood-loss stupid.
"You realy need to work on security" She heard herself say to Aria and Cassidy.
"Okay.. now come here before you pass out." Aria said sternly. Ami obeyed, wobbling some.
Aria gently held her- and used ehr magic to make her sleep.
"You know, I have the feeling I know where she's going to end up." Cassidy said as she carefully bore her mind mate to her room.
"She'll make a good trainer. It goes along well with my work.." Aria said, planning something.
Cassidy looked at her. "How do you know shes like you?"
"I know these things." Aria said cooly. "besides, no hurt in trying."
Then they were putting Ami to bed, and no more was spoken.
