Pairing: Brother/Sister.
Character Distribution: Me: Brother [Aidan], You: Sister, Both: Girlfriend [Edith] (sharing from post-to-post). The family members are also to be shared, but are less important.
Basic Idea: This brother and sister pair were born and raised together in a small, rural village--and they became just a little bit closer than they should have been. But the brother left the village for several years, and when he returned, brought home a pretty steady girlfriend to meet the family (mother, Julia; sister; younger brother, Franz). Now, the sister hasn't let go of her 'secret' feelings for her brother--and from the way he looks at her, it's hard to imagine he doesn't feel the same about her. But what to do with the girlfriend?

Full Name: Aidan Matthew Clough.
Age: Twenty-one.
Birthday: November 19, 1986.

Looks: He fits in with the family mold as well as he can. He's not the tallest person you'll come across, but he definately towers above some at six foot one. His strong, even tense posture makes him seem even taller. The body that goes with this height is lean and sunkissed, both due to genetics and the leftovers of his summer activeness. His face's features are moderately defined, also including a worrying pointedness to his nose, and gently rounded, naturally pink lips that hide a calm, slightly preoccupied voice. His piercing eyes match the blue at the edges of a cloudy summer sky. As for his hair, it's the same dark brown as his father once laid claim to, and also as thick. No matter how much effort goes into it, it always looks a little messy. Most strands reach to his upper ear (including his bangs), but the rest angle downward as it reaches toward his neck, just enough to keep the back warm on cold days. His left ear's pierced, same as it's been since his sister pierced it on his sixteenth birthday--even with the same golden ring she gave him. Always pretty well taken care of, his nails are some of the few not chewed down to the quick.

Fall/Winter Clothing Choices: Button down shirts, various washes of jeans held in place with a belt, and sneakers or boots mostly; once in a while, he toys with short- and long-sleeved shirts, sweaters, and warm hooded jackets.

History: Grew up in Penda Village, moved out at 19.

He traveled aimlessly for a good two years, then met Edith in his latest choice of places. The two were friends for a month or two, but after she broke up with her boyfriend at the time, they admitted to having feelings for each other and decided to try out a relationship.

So far, so good.

After writing home about her, his mother pushed him to bring her home for a while. He refused the first couple of times, but warily agreed when she refused to give up. A couple hundred dollars later, he found himself back at his hometown, Edith by his side.

Age: Twenty-three.
Birthday: April 2, 1985.

Looks: Edie's a woman of average height, average build... and small feet. At only five foot four, she's considerably shorter than Aidan--not that it bothers her much. Heavy, dirty blonde curls frame her rounded face, rarely straightened or pulled back, even in the heat of summer. That face lays claim to soft yet determined features: her mohagany brown eyes, bright as the night's brave first star; plump lips, only made fuller with the right lipstick; and even the voice behind it (even though it's rather loud). Her posture's easygoing; nearly careless. She's not quite ghost-like, but far paler than Aidan and the rest of his family. A small star tattoo shines from her right ankle, and earrings with various gemstones commonly do the same from the safety of her ears.

Fall/Winter Clothing Choices: Light, low-rise jeans; bright, form-fitting shirts; dark jackets and colorful sneakers and jewelry. Sometimes, she even sports sweaters and medium-length skirts.

History: Was born and raised in the city of Burel. Her independent mother left her to be raised by her father, who had no doubt she'd turn out just like her. Once out of high school, she moved out as quickly as possible and started working toward paying her own way into college. It's not completely certain, but it does seem like she lost sight of that goal a long time ago.

She met Aidan while working at a local coffee shop. They stayed friends for far too long, mainly because she was already taken. Once that guy was out of the picture, however, she won over Aidan right away. Unlike him, she jumped at the chance to visit his family.

Name: Alyssa Denise Clough
Age: Seventeen
Birthdate: April 24, 1991

Looks: Alyssa has a fit body and is five foot eight, looking like her mother and father combined. Her thick wavey hair is a blonde and goes down to her shoulder. She has crystal black eyes and tanned skin like the rest of her family and from going out during the summer.

Fall/Winter Clothes: She wears some sweat pants most of the time and a comfetable shirt. She does however wear heavier clothes when it's colder outside.

History: Alyssa still lives in Penda Village. She worried about her brother and where he was for the longest after he left. Before he left, Aidan and her had a strong relationship and now he has a girlfriend she can't tell him her feelings.

((Haha, I started twitching oddly when I noticed she had blonde hair.... (Tan + blonde = eww, in my book, heh.) she was supposed to have all of the family traits listed.

And her appearance doesn't give me much about her personality. Since I don't like complete personality outlines, I thought showing off a bit about my characters through how they look would work. So if you can, add in a bit about her posture, her voice, the expressions of her face and eyes....

*cough* Sorry, got a little wrapped up in the end of that. But that's what I need to be content, heh. And with what she wears, if she doesn't have an exceptionally strong personality, she's not going to win Aidan back from Edie. He needs either some serious seduction (short skirts are love, haha), or serious power (she's not going to give in to any attacks on her happiness, and you can she it in the way she carries herself).

Also, for history, just that she stayed in Penda gives me nothing. Does she have her own place, or does she still stay with her parents? Any significant memories since he left, like boyfriends/girlfriends, best friend betrayals, breakdowns, etc?))
