Nightshade had escaped from the house to the cemetary for the day. She had no desire to be there when the guys came. All she wanted was to be left to herself, for now.

Takenaga arrived at the house with the three other guys. "What do you think the girls will be like?" he inquired, reffering to the deal they made with their mother.

Hitomi was sitting in the living room wearing a bright pink sun-hat, her hair pinned up with the hat to hide it.

Ranmaru shrugged, "Who knows? Hopefully they'll be hot." He pointed out, crossing his arms.

As the car pulled up into the driveway. He only seen one woman, the woman who was making them a deal. Their mother. "I see... They feel they have no need to meet their guests." Oda said with a disappointed sigh.

Ranmaru pouted, "That's not very nice." He sniffed, getting out of the car once it stopped.

After a few minutes of chatting with Mrs. Hayashi, she gave then a tour of the house. Soon enough they came to the living room. Hitomi seemed to catch Oda`s eyes.

Hitomi was still wearing the bright pink sun-hat, that flopped slightly over her face, reading a thick book in one of the chairs.

Ranmaru completely over looked the bright pink spot, glancing around the room.

Oda blinked, wondering why the young girl was wearing that hat inside. He however, turned back to Mrs. Hayashi, whom was talking to someone.

The person she was talking to appeared to be another young girl, whom he guessed was the other sister.

However, she looked nothing like her sister. Her skin was pale, and her hair was dyed purple, on top of that, she wore complete black.

Upon looking up from her book, she jumped in her seat, dropping her book, and then, upon bending down to pick up her book, her hat fell off and out came spilling waves of bright red hair. She gasped and tried to cover it, but it was too late. The damage had been done.

Ranmaru smiled and stepped up to Mrs. Hayashi, "I suspect this is one of your dazzling daughters?" He asked. Kissing up to the land-lady was always a good idea, especially in their case.

Mrs. Hayashi smiled. "Yes, this is Amarante." She responded gesturing to her her sickly white daughter to just glared at Ranmaru wearily.


Takenaga had followed after Ranmaru, but his eyes were glued to Hitomi. She had such bright, lovly red hair. "And that is my other daughter, Hitomi." Mrs. Hayashi added.

Hitomi stuff all of her hair into the hat again and bowed, "It's nice to meet you all." She said, quietly. Her hat falling off again while she bowed. This time, she grabbed it and ran right out of the room, running up the stairs, clearly upset.

Ranmaru bent down and kissed Aramante on the hand quickly, "It's very nice to meet you, Aramante. What a lovely name." He commented, glancing out of the corner of his eye at Mrs. Hayashi. If she was happy, as he had thought before, it would be much better for them all.

Takenaga had moved as if to call her back, but, he was too late. Disappointed, he turned back around.

Nightshade snapped her hand back, sending him a death glare. "I shall tell you once, don`t use my real name, The name I prefer to use, is Nightshade." And with that, she was off.

Hitomi waited at the top of the stair case for her sister, still upset.

Ranmaru blinked pulling his own back, and standing straight. No girl had ever been able to resist him! How could she of all people be able to resist him?! He had to find out, and that's how his conquest started.

Mrs. Hayashi turned to the boys. "Thats the deal guys, help Hitomi become more confident with her hair about showing it. And help Ni- Amarante, warm up to people again." She responded sadly.

Takenaga, just realized, how much bigger of a task this would be.

Nightshade stopped at the top of the stairs, casting a glare over her shoulder at the new residants, before moiving over to her sister.

Hitomi was holding her bright pink hat in front of her, her eyes with tears in them. "Great. Now we have people that will be here Twenty-four/Seven to laugh at me, and annoy you." She sniffed.

Ranmaru frowned. That would be hard, from what they had just seen. "And... If we do?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. Hard or not, it would at least be interesting.

"We don`t have to have anything to do with them, so they should leave us alone." Nightshade responded leading her sister away from the stair case.

"Live here rent free for the rest of your lives." Mrs. Hayashi responded.

Takaenaga`s eyes widdened. "Are you serious?"

Ranmaru's eyes opened wide, "Wow." He said, simply. "That's... Unbelievable." He stated, thinking over the offer. The only answer was 'yes', in his mind.

Hitomi nodded, "I hope." She said, frowning. She sighed, "Why does Mom have to be like this?" She asked.

"So, will you be accepting it?" Mrs. Hayashi inquired, reffering to the offer.

"I haven`t understood Mother ever since I was in her womb." Nightshade admitted. "She just wants 'whats best for us'."

Ranmaru turned to Takenaga and nodded, "I say 'yes', what about you." He told him, while mouthing, 'This could be great!' to his friend in hopes of convincing him.

Hitomi smiled, "Heehee. You're right. She's a very... Hard-to-read person." She noted.

[Alyce_Astharose]

Takenaga nodd. "I accept aswell." He responded as Mrs. Hayashi nodded. "Well, I must be off, if you have any questions, just ask the girls!" And with that, she was gone.

"I`m going to head towards the library room, want to come?" Nightshade inquired.

Hitomi nodded, "Yeah. I want to finish this book." She agreed, holding up the book she had been reading downstairs. "Let's go." She said as she set off in that direction.

Ranmaru frowned, finally setting down the luggage he had been carrying the entire time. "She never told us where our rooms were." He pointed out.

Nightshade nodded leading the way. "If we hide, it will take them atleast a little while to find us." She added leading her down another hall towards the library.

Takenaga nodded. "I suppose that what she meant by ask the girl, but, we see how elusive they are." He responded with a sweatdrop.

Hitomi nodded, "Yeah. I need to use my laptop anyway." She noted, referring to her HP which resided in the library. "I need to look into a new hat." She said, sadly looking down to the pink mess in her hands.

Ranmaru sighed, "Well, should we just choose rooms from upstairs then? I mean, it's a mansion and there are only two of them, and who knows how many rooms." He noted.

"How about something, NOt pink this time?" Nightshade kidded. She wasn`t being serious, just playing around abit.

Takenaga nodded. "But, we should keep an eye out for the girls."

Hitomi laughed, "Yeah. I just bought this because I figured if just a strand came down, of my hair, I could just pin it off as part of the hat." She explained.

Ranmaru nodded, "And we don't want to be taking one of their rooms. I can only imagine." He pointed out, shuddering. "But then again, they might be happy, walking in and finding a gorgeous guy half-naked on their bed." He snickered.

Nightshade gave a light nod. "What type of stye are you going for this time?" She inquired.

Takenaga thought about that for a moment. "Nightshade might kill you." He warned him.

Hitomi shrugged, "I don't know. Just whatever will cover up my hair without making me look like a total dork." She joked, laughing a little.

Ranmaru shrugged, carelessly. "Hm. Maybe, I don't know. I'm pretty hard to resist. She was just a bit frigid earlier." He said, nonchalantly waving his hand.

"Could invest in a wig?" Nightshade offered an idea, glancing over to her sister. "If you do, just don`t let me help pick out." She chuckled.

Takenaga then got it, he was REALLY going to attempt it. "Just look for a gothic room, and good luck, who knows, maybe you`ll learn more about her?" He responded heading off in a search for a room.

Hitomi shrugged, "That's an idea. Maybe a nice, regular, long, normal-looking black one!" She said, brightly. "What? Why not?" She asked her sister, a little confused.

Ranmaru shrugged, "Possibly. And then, if she likes me more, then we can get closer to rent-free." He pointed out, not seeing that he'd have been using her, if that did indeed work.

Nightshade smiled, and pointed to her hair. "However, I for one, like your hair, red, its very pretty." She responded.

Takenaga meerly shook his head and continued his search for a room. He found a decent room. It was facing the elegant back yard, which was enough for him.

Hitomi smiled, "Yeah, well, the rest of the world's not as great as you, Night." She pointed out.

Ranmaru was searching like a weasel, poking in and out of rooms, still not finding the correct room. Or at least, not one that he'd expect as Ni- Aramante's.

"Well, I`d beat the snot out of em' till they realized it is very pretty." She responded with a grin. It was obvious, she cared for her sister.

After Takenaga claimed his room, he went to see a few other rooms, and he figured he found Nightshades... The walls were painted black. The dresses and furniture was all made of dark oak. And on her bed laid an assortment of gothic stuffed animals. He then turned and seem Ranmaru, and left from the door way.

Hitomi laughed, smiling, "That'll be good." She said, humorously.

Ranmaru turned out of the room he had been checking out, "Have you found it?" He asked, pouting at his lack of discovery.

Nightshade smiled, as she headed over to a book case and picked a book up. It was her favorite book, about vampires nonetheless.

"Yeah." Takenaga responded nonchalontly. He pointed over his shoulder at the room.

Hitomi smiled back and grabbed her laptop, sitting in one of the high-backed chairs, her brought it onto her lap and began tapping away at the keys.

Ranmaru nodded, nearly running to the room, "Thanks!" He thanked Takenaga, nearly bouncing inside the room.

Nightshade grinned as she found a chair and sat in it. She had read the book several times, but, she could now recall what happens to the characters perfectly.

Takenaga meerly watched him, half expecting a horrorified reaction to the girls room. He meerly shrugged and headed to find the kitchen.

"Night. What do you think of... this?" Hitomi asked, turning the laptop in her sisters direction, smiling at the ball-cap.

Ranmaru stepped in there and was immeditly taken aback. Weren't girls rooms supposed to be pink and flowery? Man, this girl went against everything he knew about girls.

Nightshade drew closer to study the hat, then she studied her sister`s head. After a few moments, Hitomi would have gotten Nightshade thumb of approval.

Laying under her pillow just slightly, was a little black book, with a purplish gray ribbon sticking out the bottom. It had been attampted to be hidden by her Panda from the Skeleanimals line.

Hitomi grinned, "Awesome! Now, could you help me convert centimeters to inches. It's those crazy American standardized measurements." She said, frowning. Math had never been her strong suit.

Ranmaru noticed the book almost immeditly and his eyes widened a little in surprise. Stepping forward, he was drawn to the book and the mysteries it may just hold. He swiftly pulled it out from under the panda, then putting it back to what it had been like before.

Nightshade nodded, and proceeded to get her figure out the right size. "There, a medium should be good." She finally announced.

It was a diray... Her diary. On the front of it, its had a cresent moon printed in silver, the cover was made out of what old timy books were made of, cloth, firm cloth.

Hitomi nodded and filled in everything else, and clicked order, smiling at her sucess, "Thanks for helping me!" She chirped, right after, her stomach growled, "Oh yikes... When was the last time I ate?" She asked herself, placing a hand on her stomach. "I'm going to go get some food, alright?" She asked her sister.

Ranmaru grinned, devilishly and ran his finger over it, tracing the outlight of the moon lightly. He looked at the spine of the book, her diary, definitly, he deduced, trying, at the same time, to find the guts to look in it.

Nightshade nodded with a smile. "I`ll be right here, unless I retire for the night." She responded.

The book contained alot of the happenings of everyday life, and dreams. The last few chapter contained information about dreams... where a gothic man, a vampire appeared. Dark red hair would have fell shortly would his pale face, and he was grabbed from head to toe in black.

"Alright." Hitomi responded, giggling and leaving the room, swiftly to the elevator instead of the stairs they had taken before and down to the first floor, near the kitchen.

Ranmaru blinked, almost dropping the book. It was so deep, he was amazed by the very intensity of the writing, itself.

Nightshade returned to where she was at her book. But, oddly her train of thought kept roaming elsewhere.

When he dropped the book, it would have opened the book to the illustation of the man... Scary thing was, it closly remembled Ranmaru.

Ranmaru was only losely holding the book and a strange gust on wind, from seemingly nowhere, turned the page, and then, he did drop the book at the picture of nearly him.

Hitomi walked carefully, she had forgotten her hat up in the library. She walked into the kitchen, quickly.

Nightshade fliped a page nonchallontly. Unaware there wasa tresspasser in her sanctuary.

Takenaga was in the kitchen, he noticed Hitomi, but, made no big deal about it. Infact, he thought er hair, was very lovly.

Hitomi squeaked when she saw him, jumping back and behind the doorframe, poking her head out, slightly, to look at him.

Nightshade growing tired, decided to head to bed. After putting her bnook, up, she headed down towards her room. It would have taken several minutes, seeing as she walked.

Takenaga didn`t even glance up. "Why do you hide? I know your there, Hitomi." He spoke up.

Ranmaru just dropped the book and turned around, leaving the room, slowly.

Hitomi squeezed her eyes shut as if she'd dissapear. "I-I... Uh... Don't want you to... see me." She admitted, quietly.

[Alyce_Astharose]

Nightshade would have gotten to the door way as he turned to leave. She had an icy stare in her eyes. "What are you doing?" She demanded, her voice, had a same tone to match her eyes.

"Why not, your very pretty." He responded, glancing up at the door that she was behind. "But, if you wish for me to leave, I`ll go."

Ranmaru was stunned for a moment before turning the charm back on, "I was just trying to choose a room, but I seem to have stumbled upon someone elses, so it seems."

Hitomi blinked, "P-Pretty?" She asked, blinking more, completely confused.

[Alyce_Astharose]

She then noticd her book. "You liar!" She hissed, venomously, she shoved him aside and picked her diary up, making sure to close it. "Don`t you ever come in here again!" She hissed forcing him out and then slamming the door shut.

"Hai." Takenaga responded. "Your lush red hair, reminds me of the sun, setting in the evening."

Hitomi blushed as red as her hair, "O-oh..." She said, quietly, stepping out from behind the doorframe.

Ranmaru scrunched up his face, with distaste. Most girls would be glad to have had him in their room. Then, he found his flaw. He was comparing her with other girls when she was like no girl he had even met before. One, Nightshade, Zero, Him.

Takenaga smiled when she came out. "Your hair is even more beutfiful then I remember." He praised her. "Are you hungry? I fixed some soup."

Nightshade put her book under her bed, she couldn`t for some reason bring herself to write tonight.

Hitomi tensed, opening her mouth slowly to say something. "Soup. Yes... Soup would be nice." She said, blankly. She had never, ever, been praised by anyone other than her mother and sister.

Ranmaru sighed, and trudged to the room at the end of the hallway and chose it as his own.

"Its country style, it has beef, and vegtables with broth." he responded after laddeling her out some in a bowl, then sitting it before her. "Is it okay? I take special requests." He added with a smile as he sat it down before her.

Hitomi nodded, "Yes. That's fine. Thank you." She said, sitting down where the soup was, smiling very smally.

He nodded lightly before returning back to his soup.

Hitomi ate, quietly holding the bowl to her face and sipping delicately. She didn't know what to say. Human communication had never been her specialty.

Takenaga finished soon enough. He headed towards the door, giving her a good night, before he disappeared.

"Goodnight." Hitomi replied, finishing her own and putting the bowl in the sink.

Ranmaru rolled over, the light shining in brightly in his face. He groaned, but he sat up and stretched anyway.

Hitomi awoke unusually early, for having had replaying that scene in the kitchen and his words in her head the whole night long.

Nightshade slept well. She hadn`t bothered to wake when the sun rose. That was because of the curtains she had, they allowed in, absolutly no light in.

Takenaga was already up, and making breakfast. Pancakes. The sweet aroma of fresh pancakes flavored with a hint of vanilla wafted threw the kitchen, and into the hallway.

Hitomi crawled out of bed and got her robe on to cover her long purple night gown and figured that it was only her mother or Nightshade trying to show some hospitality by making breakfast for the two, new boys.

Ranmaru nearly fell out of bed and ran down the stairs at smelling the pancakes. He was, after all, a teenage boy, and teenage boys had teenage boy appetites which were, however, enormous.

Takenaga didn`t even glanced up as Ranmaru entered the kitchen. Skillfully he flipped the pancake.

Ranmaru sat at the table and asked Takenaga, "What's on the menu this morning?" He was still in his pajamas and his hair was a mess, but he didn't care. Some girls considered it sexy.

[Alyce_Astharose]

"Pancakes." Was Takenaga`s reply. "So, how did it go?" he inquired, reffering to Ranmaru`s snooping.

Ranmaru scrunched his nose, "No... She caught me last second." He explained, scowling. "She didn't take it so well."

[Alyce_Astharose]

Takenaga rolled his eyes. "What did I tell you?" He sighed sitting a pancake to the side.

Ranmaru shrugged, "She totally wants me." He dismissed it, waving his hand. "Either that, or she will eventually." He promised both Takenaga and himself.

As Hitomi thought it was her sister cooking, she paid no attention to her surroundings and walked straight into the kitchen. But, upon seeing Takenaga and Ranmaru both in the room, she turned and fled, walking out.

"Good morning!" Takenaga called after Hitomi. He knew she`d eventually come back for food, or so he thought.

He turned and flinged a hot pancake at Ranmaru. "Your full of yourself."

Hitomi just jogged up the stairs and rapped on her sisters door, a few times.

Ranmaru shrugged and caught the pancake with his plate. "What was that about? She got one look at you and ran like the girl from 'The Ring' was chasing her." He pointed out.

Nightshade picked her head up and rubbed her eyes. With a groggy voice, she responded. "Come in!"

"Hey, your there, too, Mr. Ever-Lady-Needs-To-Be-In-My-Bed." Takenaga responded with a twitch, obviously irritated.

Hitomi walked into the room, her face a bright red. "I... When I went to the kitchen last night something happened!" She said, quickly, jogging to the bed.

Ranmaru shook his head lightly, "They don't need to be, they just want to be. Most of them, anyway." He pointed out.

Nightshade glanced at her, tiredly. "huh?" She inquired.

Takenaga meerly only shook his head quietly.

"Takenaga called me... Pretty." Hitomi said, blushing and giggling a little. "He thinks I'm... pretty."

Ranmaru began shoving the pancakes into his mouth, savoring the taste. Takenaga was a fantastic cook, but he on the other hand couldn't make ice.

Nightshade smiled. "Congrats." She responded, "I told you there is more people out there who like your hair."

Hitomi blushed deeper, "In fact... He told me, in these exact words, almost... My hair reminds him of the sun, setting in the evening." She said, smiling and staring at her feet.

[Alyce_Astharose]

Nightshade smiled. "Now, Hitomi, are you getting a crush on one of the new guys?" She teased lightly.

Hitomi blushed again, "No! No... Of course not. Nope. Never. Uh-uh." She insisted before looking up, and scrunching her nose, "I-is it that obvious?" She asked, desperately.

[Alyce_Astharose]

"I won`t tell, and Takenaga, doesn`t seem the type... to take advantage of that, he`d wait to say anything till your comfortable about it." Nightshade responded.

Hitomi laughed, "Yeah... But... He's... So... Gorgeous and he can cook. And he's handsome." Her tone was slowly drooping. "Oh my gosh... I fell in like with a God. What do you think my chances are?" She asked, grimacing.

[Alyce_Astharose]

Nightshade shook her head. "Don`t do that now, he`s a normal human being, just like you, but if you want my opinion from what you said, high." She responded pluping her head back down on the pillow.

Hitomi smiled, "You're right. I need to calm down." She agreed, exhaling deeply. "Really?" She asked, her stomach feeling like it did a 360.

Nightshade nodded at her sister, her eyes still closed. She was still tired for some reason.

"Need some more sleep?" Hitomi asked, smiling at her sister.

[Alyce_Astharose]

"yes!" She responded with a slight yawn. She then glanced over to Hitomi again. "Gonna try and reel that fish in?"

Hitomi smiled, carefully, "Maybe... Yes." She laughed, "Should I go... Talk to him?" She asked, glancing towards the door, "I mean. Let you get some sleep."

[Alyce_Astharose]

"Just go talk to him, get to know him." Was all she said before turning over.

"A-alright. Good night." Hitomi joked, leaving the room and proceeding down the stairs, once more.

Takenaga finally finished making pancakes. Now he sat at the table, obviously eatting.

Hitomi entered the kitchen and sat at the table, brushing her skirt under her.

Ranmaru had finished eating before and had left the kitchen by that time.

[Alyce_Astharose]

Takenaga was silent. He seemed fixated on his breakfast at the moment.

Nightshade still lounged sleepily in her bed, not wanting to be disturbed.

On the way around the house, Ranmaru passed Nightshade's room, he couldn't help but stop and stare at the door for a few seconds.

Hitomi glanced up and smiled, "Good morning." She greeted him.

Nightshade heard foot steps outside her door, but, she gave no attention to it. She just turned over and got comfortable in her bed again.

Takenaga looked up at smiled. "Good morning to you, aswell, Miss Hitomi."

Ranmaru just stood there, wondering if he should knock, and he decided on 'yes'. He knocked a few times, and waited patiently.

Hitomi felt her heart flutter a bit and asked, "How did you sleep?" Which munching on the almost cold pancakes in front of her.

With a groan, she stood up and walked over to answer the door. "Yes?" She asked, not expecting Ranmaru. However, when she seen him. She slammed the door shut. She had been wearing a grayish night gown, with only spahgetti straps to support it and it stopped at her hips.

Takenaga smiled. "I slept very well last night, how about you, Miss Hitomi?" he inquired.

Ranmaru nearly had a trail of drool coming from his mouth. If had had to have her before, now it was absolutely a must, he growled, imagining her in that outfit again.

Hitomi nodded, "Very well." She answered, smiling. "Did you dream well?" She asked, just blurting it out.

"Go away!" She squeeked. For some reason, she knew he was out there, and for some reason, she was blushing.

Takenaga smiled. "Yes, I did, and how about you?" He inquired. He did actually have a dream last night, but, what it was about, he sure wasn`t going to say anything.

Ranmaru just blinked and snapped back to his senses, walking into his room, the image nearly burned into his mind.

Arisu nodded, "I did. Very good dreams." She answered, mouthing to herself as she looked to her pancakes, 'About you...'

With that taken care of, she snatched her robe, a change of clothes, and she headed towards the bathroom. A bath was in order. Once getting her towel, letting the water warm, up, she finally climbed in.

Takenaga smiled. He quietly turned back to concentrait of the helpless pile of pancakes on his plate. With the smile of a predator, he dug back in.

Hitomi finished her second pancake and stopped there, pushing the plate away a bit further. She leaned forward and rested her head on her hand, "So... Where are you from?" She asked.

"Shibuya." He responded.(I don`t recall his home>.<)

He smiled lightly, as he finished his aswell. He then took a sip of his milk.

Nightshade after a few moments, just slid under the water, loving the warmth of it.

Hitomi smiled, "Hokkaido. My sister and I." She explained.

[Alyce_Astharose]

He smiled. "Cool." He responded vocally. "So, how is your sister?" He inquired, wondering if she had gotten sick.

However, she was disturbed when something from the hanging basket fell, popping out of the water, she picked it up. It was only her gothic rubber duckie. "Oh, it just you, Ducky." She giggled.

Hitomi smiled, "Nightshade's fine. She's just a little tired, that's all." She explained, nonchalantly.

He smiled. "Thats glad, I was afraid Ranmaru might have done something to have it be otherwise." He responded with a sweatdrop.

Hitomi shrugged, "If he did, she didn't tell me. Why would he?" She asked, curiously.

[Alyce_Astharose]

Takenaga sweatdropped even more. "He sees your sister`s... reluctantness to his "charms", as a game, the hardest he`s had yet." he responded shaking his head.

Hitomi blinked, "What? That's... Odd." She said. She shook her head, "He's got no chance." She insisted.

[Alyce_Astharose]

He nodded. "Thats what I think too, cause, I`ve gotten the hint, she doesn`t like him at all."

Then Hitomi shrugged, "But, then again, you never know. Our Mom is all sunshine and smiles, but my father was dark and moody. They loved eachother like the day loved the sun." She explained.

"That is, if they don`t kill each other first." He corrected her. He scratched his head. "Maybe we ought to try and 'help them'?"

Hitomi arched an eyebrow, "What do you mean...?" She asked slowly.

[Alyce_Astharose]

"Set them up on a date?" He offered gently.

Hitomi nodded, "It has to be some place that Nightshade likes, or she'll just leave." She pointed out. "Something so good so that she has to stay, with or without Ranmaru there."

[Alyce_Astharose]

"Maybe the cemetary, and perhaps, we could get Ranmaru to dress like a goth or a vampire just for that night?" he offered the idea in.

Hitomi nodded, "Oh, most definitly. And she'd love that. If he proves that he's looking for more than to use her, she'll pay more attention."

[Alyce_Astharose]

"Well, do you wanna go talk to your sister? And I go talk to Ranmaru?" He inquired.

Hitomi nodded, "Perfect. I'll tell her that me and her are going to take a walk in the cemetary and you tell him something convincing!" She said, grinning, quickly hugging Takenaga before dashing upstairs.

By now, Nightshade had gotten out of the bath, and was heading to her room, dressed.

Takenaga got up and headed to Ranmaru`s room. He rapped on the door exactly three times. "Ranmaru?"

Ranmaru flopped off of his bed and walked to his door to answer it, leaning against the door, he inquired Takenaga was his visit was about.

Hitomi knocked on Nightshade's door, quickly, smiling with anticipation.

Takenaga smiled. "Its about Nightshade." Was all he needed to say, to fully gasp Ranmaru`s attention, he was sure of it.

"yes?" Nightshade asked, opening the door. She was glad it was Hitomi this time on the other side of the door.

Hitomi smiled at her sister, "How about we take the day off and go for a walk in the cemetary?" She offered.

Ranmaru immeditly focused, "What about her?" He asked.

Nightshade blinked. That was sudden. "Okay." She responded with a smile.

"She said she`ll go on a date with you, on two conditions, its at the cemetary, and you dress as a vamp or a goth." Takenaga offered.

Ranmaru nodded, excitedly, "Alright! When?" He asked, eagerly.

Hitomi grinned, "Okay, let's go, then!" She said, smiling.

Nightshade nodded and followed her sister quietly. "Since when do you like going to the cemetary?" She inquired.

"Just change and head over, she`ll be there in a few." Takenaga responded. Then he was off.

"Well you do, and I thought it might be nice to have a sister-sister bonding thing, since it's most likely the only time we're going to get alone now." Hitomi insisted.

Ranmaru nodded and closed his door, changing into a black, tight, short-sleeved shirt, black, baggy pants, gel in his hair, and eyeliner.

She smiled. "Alright, sounds fun, I`ll show you my favorite mausoleum while were there." She grinned as they would have finally walked outside.

Takenaga waited in the kitchen quietly. He had a black rose laying on the table for Rnmaru to take, along with a book.

Hitomi grinned, "Okay. And it's just us today. No one else." She remarked, happily.

Ranmaru opened his door and jogged down the stairs, entering the kitchen, "Do I give those to her? Will she like them?" He asked, very excited for his date.

She nodded as they would have walked the lane that lead away from the house. She lead her down another road to the giant cemetary that was nearby.

Takenaga nodded. "Don`t you think she will? Anyway, you better hussle up!" He responded.

Hitomi panicked, they were too close, and Ranmaru and/or Takenaga weren't near-by enough. "Do you want to go straight to the favorite mausoleum of yours? She asked, stopping her sister.

Ranmaru nodded, "Yeah... Yeah, you're right!" He responded, brightly. "Thanks!" He replied, grabbing the presents and bolting out the door towards the cemetary.

Nightshade nodded, wondering why Hitomi was so jumpy. "Sure." She responded pondering.

Takenaga watched him go, he was to fast to keep up with at the moment.

"Alright. Come on." Hitomi said, leading her onto a different road, the longer, other way to the cemetary.

Ranmaru continued along the road towards the cemetary, running with all his might.

Nightshade blinked. "But... the easier way is... that way..." She responded pointing the other way. But, she gave up, and followed after her sister quickly.

Now for the next part, Hitomi had to get her sister in the cemetary, alone. So, faking a bad fall, she fell to the ground and simultaniously kicked her shoe off. "Whoops." She said, giggling, sheepishly. "You go ahead, I'll be one second."

Ranmaru entered the cemetary from the other end, begining to search around for Nightshade.

Nightshade nodded, still weary. With a sigh, she disappeared into the woods at the end of the cemetary.

Quickly slipping her shoe back on, she got up quickly and turned, scuffling into the bushes.

Ranmaru wandered aimlessly in the cemetary, not knowing where Nightshade would be. He called for her, "Nightshade!" And kept walking.

Thats when Nightshade heard it. With a sigh, she stepped out from behind a large tombstone. She glared at Ranmaru. "What are YOU doing here?"

Ranmaru blinked, "Didn't you agree?" He asked, confused.

Hitomi giggled at their exchange, from the spying she was quickly doing and then began back to the house through the woods.

Nightshade raised an eyebrow. "Agree? To what?" She insisted, studying him over, in his new "goth garb", she`d hate to admit... he was kind of good looking.

Ranmaru brushed a bang out of his face quickly and blinked, "You mean.... You didn't agree to the date?" He asked, quizically.

Hitomi re-entered the house, smiling contently, humming even, not even noticing that on the way back her hat had gotten snagged.

"A date? Why would- Oh, I see... They set us up." She responded crossing her arms over her chest.

Ranmaru groaned, he thought he'd scored, for real! "Well... While we're here...?" He asked, slowly.

[Alyce_Astharose]

"What, you insist on a date? I know your intentions." She hissed. "A light dinner, a little browsing then a bed!" She hissed.

Ranmaru's face immeditly turned sour, "What? You think I would try this hard to get in bed with you?!" He asked, gesturing to his body, his clothes, and the book and rose in his hand, extending them to her.

[Alyce_Astharose]

"Then why are you here?" She responded her voice full of venom. "No body else besides me own sister has taken the time to get to know me, so why should I expect that of you?"

Ranmaru groaned, he had no answer to that, because he just didn't have an answer. He wasn't even sure what he was after anymore, at first it was to get her bed, but not anymore.

With that, Nightshade turned and headed away. With her back to him, she finally allowed a spec of emotion to play upon her face. It was hurt.

Ranmaru sighed, "I... I don't know." He admitted, frowning, his brow furrowed. What was he supposed to say? He didn't know what he was after, and he just... didn't know. He was confused and his heart felt... And that was just it, his heart felt.

"I`ll settle for that." She responded, turning back around. She glanced back to him, biting her lip again.

Ranmaru sighed, and stayed silent, scuffing his black sneakers on the ground.

She would have appeared before him. "Is the offer still open?" She asked softly.

Ranmaru stayed silent for a moment, "Of course." He smiled.

Nightshade gave a a very light hint of a smile. "Alright, its a date."

Ranmaru grinned, "Where do you want to go? Or is this okay?" He asked, motioning to the forestry and tombstones around them.

Hitomi grinned, stepping away from the window and walking, joyously into the kitchen.

"Would this place be okay?" She inquired.

Takenaga glanced up at Hitomi came in. "So, how did it go?" He inquired as he put a few clean dishes away.

Ranmaru nodded, "Of course, your choice." He said, actually, quite nervous, but not showing it. He was intriuged by Nightshade, and had never met another girl like her, so he wasn't sure how to act, as he usual did.

Hitomi grinned, "It weant, surprisingly, well! It worked! It worked!" She said, happily, jumping up and down.

Nightshade nodded. She was slightly nervous, due to the fact she hadn`t been on a date for a long time.

Takenaga smiled. "Thats great!" He beamed, obviously happy with the outcome. "Are you thristy?"

Ranmaru stepped closer to her, and brushed some of her hair behind her ear, shortly after placing the thornless rose behind her ear, and placing the book in her hands.

Hitomi nodded, giggling, "Yeah! I am, kind of."

Though she tried to hide it, Nightshade blushed. She bit her lower lip hard enough to the point it bleed.

Takenaga smiled. "What would ya like?" He inquired.

Ranmaru, instinctually brought his hand down to her lip, touching the blood, before blinking, and being surprised at his very own actions. His hand was frozen to the spot, he didn't know what to do. He had blood on his thumb, but more importantly, his thumb on her lip.

Hitomi shrugged, "Uhm... Anything." She guessed, having no particular drink in mind. She cracked a smile, "Y'know, you sure are adjusting well for someone who moved in almost a day, ago." She pointed out, giggling.

Nightshade parted her lips, and actually, licked the blood off his finger, before finally turning away. She was wondering, what the heck did I just do?!

Takenaga grinned. "Thats me, once you know your way around the kitchen, your fine!"

Ranmaru blinked, taking his thumb back very slowly, blushing a lot, himself. He brought his hand back to his side, and was once again frozen, unsure what to do, for the second time in less than a minute.

Hitomi laughed, "I wouldn't know my way around the kitchen if I had a full scale map!" She pointed out. "I think when I make something good, it's pure dumb luck. I have no clue what I'm doing, half the time."

"Can I show you my favorite mausoleum?" Nightshade asked, barly above a squeek.

Takenaga smiled. "Don`t sweat about that, I use to be like that, too." He responded. "Alright, now, what would you like?" He asked again.

Ranmaru brought his eyes up, that had previously been on the ground, and smiled, whole-heartedly, nodding his head, "Yeah... Sounds good."

[Alyce_Astharose]

She lead him over to a mausoleum that looked similar to a catherdral. At the doors, two clocked and hooded people of stone stood on either side, their arms, closest to the door stretched out to hold on to a tress of a sash that wound around the arch, ingraved with the persons name. However, the two angels looked away from each other, and had a face of stainglass.

Ranmaru blinked and stepped closer, examining the mausoleum with a delicate curiousity, his fingertips tracing lightly over the names and peering closer, his nose nearly brushing the stone, itself.

"What do you think?" Nightshade finally broke the silence. In her opinion, he seemed to like it.

Ranmaru jerked back, getting out of the seeming trance he was in. "I-it's... Beautiful." He remarked, blinking his eyes softly, then changing his veiw to Nightshade.

Nightshade put on a soft smile. "Most people don`t realize that something so... 'morbide', can be so beautiful." She responded taking a step closure.

Ranmaru was surprised himself by the words that came out of his mouth, "People that don't realize it... Wouldn't know beauty if it smacked them across the face." He pointed out, gazing at Nightshade.

[Alyce_Astharose]

Nightshade smiled, obviously not seeing where it was directed. "And then these beautiful things rot away, before anyone notices."

Ranmaru sharply inhaled, blinking, he felt like he'd been smacked across the face by a hot-handed son of a witch named reality. He stayed frozen in his spot for a little simply staring at Nightshade.

She noticed him staring at her after a moment. She blinked. "Is something wrong?" She inquired, wondering why in the world he was staring so intensly at her.

Ranmaru blinked, and shook his head quickly, smiling and saying, "No, of course not, nothing's wrong." In his usual suave, smooth way.

Nightshade nodded before moving forward to examine the faded text on a tombstone. "Its so peaceful here." She commented.

Oda finally returned to the mansion. "I wonder if Hitomi has gotten back yet." He mused to himself.

Ranmaru nodded near-mutely, "Mhm." Was a small, man-like grunt he let out.

Hitomi was curled up on the couch, a Stephan King novel in her hands.

With that, Nightshade turned to face Ranmaru. "You hungry? I know this nice little cafe up in town..."

"Hey." Takenaga called, walking into the room where Hitomi lounged. "Whatcha reading if you don`t mind me asking?"

Ranmarus' face brightened considerably, "Sure, that'd be great." He agreed more than enthusiastically.

Hitomi layed the book on her lap, pages down, and smiled, "Rose Manor by Stephan Speilberg."

Nightshade chuckled. "Alright, lets go." She responded hturning to head out of the cemetary... But it was then, she tripped over a twig.

Takenaga nodded. "Horror, by chance?" He inquired with a smile. He moved to sit down in the chair beside her for now.

Ranmaru's eyes widened in surprise and he rushed forward with a burst of speed to grab her and only managed to brush her shoulders before getting a firm grip on one and snaking his arm around her waist.

Hitomi's mouth quirked as she nodded, "Stephen King, the master." She murmured, as more of the estate's history was reaveled.

Nightshade blinked, caught offguard when his arm snaked around her waist. She grinned. "Your actually kind of cute in goth garb." She complimented.

Takenaga nodded, getting the hint. "I`ll leave you alone." He responded getting up to leave.

Ranmaru was the one caught off gaurd that time, and was pleased when he didn't drop her. "Th-thank you." Stuttered off of his tongue before he recovered.

Hitomi snapped up from her book and shook her head, "No, no, you don't have to leave." She responded, quickly.

Nightshade grinned, seeing him stutter. It was funny, she`d admit, and kinda cute.

Takenaga blinked. "Are you sure?" he inquired, turning to face her.

Ranmaru thought his next move out carefully before executing his plan, "Well, now then, let's get going, huh?" He asked, removing the one hand from the grip on her shoulder but not removing the hand around her waist.

"As sure as the sun rises in the east." Hitomi replied, not realizing she quoted a song from Beauty and the Beast.

She nodded. With that, she attempted to take a step forward, wondering if he`d let her go this time.

Takenaga chuckled. It was cute, how she quoted that movie. With that, he returned to his seat.

Ranmaru simply stepped with her, quickly anticipating her move, his arm firmly around her waist as it had been. A fleeting thought was wondering if he was being too forward, but he decided not, and kept his arm there. Only if she wished it was it to be removed.

Hitomi smiled lightly and placed the book cover-up on her lap, "Do you know how Nightshade and Ranmaru's date is going?" She asked, curiously.

Nightshade lead the way into the town. It was a little ways of a walk, but the cafe she took him to was a really cozy little place.

Takenaga sweatdropped. "Well... They could be getting along fine, or... Ranmaru could be dead." He muttered.

Ranmaru followed along behind, well rather, aside Nightshade with her arm comfortable resting along the small of her back. She had let him, so that was a good side, right?

Hitomi laughed and shook her head, "Probably not dead... Worst case scenario, severely miamed." She joked.

Nightshade walked up to the counter and glanced at the menu, before glancing over to him. She wanted him to order first.

Takenaga sweatdropped. "I can see that easily happening..." He sighed. "Maybe we should go see if their doing okay?"

Ranmaru decided quickly, "I'll have the milk and the flan, please." He ordered, he slipped his hand into his backpocket for that was where his wallet was stored. It was a date, he'd pay.

Hitomi paused for a moment in thought before deciding quickly, "No. Because if something other than Ranmaru being maimed is happening, we could mess it up. And they're both fairly smart, they'd figure out we set it up."

"I`d like a sweet tea." She responded. That was all she wanted, she wasn`t really thristy. "Okay, that will be 4.66." The cashier responded.


Takenaga nodded. "Yeah, your right, I just hope their getting along, ya know?" He responded, hopeing they were both okay.

Ranmaru got out his wallet and flipped it open pulling out five dollars and giving it to the cashier. He flashed a quick smile at Nightshade, hoping that she got the messege: Remember, it was a date.

Hitomi nodded, "Yeah, I agree. I guess we'll just have to stay here and hold down the fort, huh?" She asked, smiling.

The cashier gave Ranmaru back the exact amount of change, and then moved away to put the order in. "Where do you want to sit?" Nightshade inquired, glancing around at the tables that were open.

Takenaga chuckled. "How about some tea while we wait?" He offered. He was planning to make it if she said yes.

Ranmaru slipped the change into his pocket and followed Nightshade. "Wherever you want." He replied, pausing to let her make the desicion.

Hitomit smiled a little more, "That sounds nice. Thank you." She responded, serenely. She... couldn't help but silently making a plan, though...

Nightshade pointed over to one by a window. "How about over there?" She offered the idea.

Takenaga smiled, happy she didn`t say no. "Alright, let`s head into the kitchen." he responded slowly walking towards the kitchen. "What type of tea would you like?" He inquired glancing over his shoulder to her.

Ranmaru smiled gentley, a model smile, and walked to the table with Nightshade, setting down his milk and flan, but before sitting down, walking to the other side of the table, and pulling out Nightshade's chair for her.

Hitomi tapped her chin carefully, as if this were the answer to life or death. "I'll have..." Earl grey would seem dull, orange mandarin spice would be too exotic, and green tea would seem traditional. But, Takenaga, it seem, was a traditional sort of guy, "Green tea, please."

IC: Nightshade blinked, surprized that he pulled her chair out of her. "Thank you." She responded before sitting down, and scooting up, and sat the tea down on the table.

Takenaga smiled. "Alright, two cups of green tea it is." He responded as he began to bustle around the kitchen, preparing the tea.

"OH MY GOSH!!! IS THAT ONE OF THE FOUR PRINCES OF MORI HIGH?!" A high-pitch voice squealed, "Oh my god!" Another voice squealed, "It is!"

Ranmaru's face turned pale as he clutched his fork tightly. "Oh no..." He muttered. "We have to get out of here." He whispered, "They're coming..."

Hitomi smiled as she leaned up against the counter, her book still clutched tightly in her hand, her arms crossed.

Nightshade wouldn`t have been able to get any paler. She knew that sound... Fan girls... "Let`s try sneaking out the back." She whispered standing up.

After several minutes passed, Takenaga poured some tea from the kettle, into fine china tea cups. He then handed her a cup, smiling. "Here you go."

"That's a good idea." Ranmaru murmured, he could hear them quickly approaching, and stood up from his chair, the plate of flan in his hand. The staff wouldn't mind, he decided while he stood and took a slight run for the Staff Only door.

Hitomi smiled brightly at him, "Thanks!" She thanked him, before delicately taking a sip. "Is green tea your favorite type of tea?" She asked, curiously.

Nightshade followed after him, her combat boots, clinking abit as she followed after. She could see the girls turning the corner. "Faster! Faster!" She ushered.

Takenaga nodded. "One of then, I also like the teas, with flavoring of fruit, how about yourself?" He inquired as he sat down at the table. He propped his head on her hand, watching her quietly.

Ranmaru entered the kitchen and ran through with the speed of the wind. Dodging pots and pans, getting specks of flour on him, he made it to the other door and waited patiently for Nightshade to follow.

Hitomi smiled but was truthfully honest, "I enjoy any type of chai the most. But I preferred green tea now because I felt you would." She answered.

Nightshade jumped over something a chef had dropped and ran into Ranmaru. Her force was enought to push them out, far enough that the door closed.

Takenaga sweatdropped. "Well, we can have chai next time, I find all teas to be good." He responded, carrying a smile.

Ranmaru stumbled out into the alley way, but he could still hear the fangirls. "Hide..." He mumbled, "We have to hide..." His eyes darted around for a hiding place, but he couldn't spot one.

Seeing the sweatdrop, Hitomi instantly recoiled. Were her fears true, was she being too bold? She leaned back and took another sip of her tea.

Nightshade glanced around... "You hide behind the trashcan, and I`ll scare them." She responded, knowing she was scary enough to do so.

"Well, lets make it a date then?" He grinned. "Next time we`ll have a date, with chai tea."

Ranmaru smiled weakly, "Well, alright, good luck. They're vicious." He warned her, before resuming his place behind the trashcan.

Hitomi blinked a few times before stuttering, "A d-date?" No quite sure if he meant a day or time where they went and did something or something that they did as a couple.

It had worked like a charm... When the group of girls came, she jumped out making a funny noise, and scared the living daylights out of them... They turned and ran off...

"A date-date." He responded. "As in dating." he responded hoping to make his intentions clear.

Ranmaru waited until they were fully out of hearing range before popping out and laughing, "That was great!" He admitted, laughing a little more.

Hitomi's lips twitched with a little smile, and nodded, "That'd be nice." She decided.

"I guess it pays to have me around." She snickered lightly, happy to help him out of what could have possibly been a "sticky" situation.

Takenaga noticed that twitch. "Unless you just wanna have it as like a party, thats fine too." He assured her.

"It pays to have you around even if you're not scaring off fangirls." Ranmaru blurted out, a bit out of character for himself, but he was a little jittery at the moment and fangirls were scary.

Hitomi shook her head and said, "No, a date is fine. Preferred, actually."

Nightshade caught that, all of that. She couldn`t help it, she blushed. She would of preffered him blurting his mind, not thinking about it too much actually.

Takenaga gave her a truly happy smile. "Alright, its a date then!" He smiled, he seemed to be really excited about this.

Ranmaru glanced away for just a moment, "We should get out of here." He reminded her, stepping and leaning against a wall in wait for her reply.

Hitomi moved on impulse, standing from the table, moving around it, and hugging him.

Nightshade nodded. "I concur." She agreed, glancing down the side of the alley, to see if the coast was clear... Good luck as it was.

Oda smiled gently and hugged Hitomi in response. She was such a sweet girl, he would admit, and was quite excited about their date.

Ranmaru waited patiently for her to return with a response, but shortly after, unconciously decided that patient wasn't his thing, and walked up to behind her, silently.

Hitomi jerked back as if she'd been struck, and she had been, by reality. Her face turned as red as her hair and she backed up frantically, "S-s-sorry!" She squeaked.

Nightshade had turned to head back, but accidently. bumped into Ranmaru. She gave a little squeek quickly standing back.

Takenaga smiled. "Its alright, its not a crime to hug someone." He assured her, gently patting her hand.

Ranmaru just couldn't help but smiling with a little hint of 'smirk' in there, but he stayed silent, not saying a word of it.

Hitome smiled back back, shyly, and blushed a little after having her face return to it's normal shade.

"I`m sorry!" Nightshade responded. "I didn`t see you there." She responded, feeling abit bad for accidently bumping into him.

Takenaga smiled. He was happy to see she was okay.
