Humans are ill mortals, their lives are constantly ruled out by their emotions. Such petty fools.

Welcome to the school. I'm sure you'll love your stay.



Sooo~ This Roleplay is about Atrum Academy, a private school for children of the night. Or as the humans would call them: Monsters.
A young girl named Emily winds up in the wrong school, and it might just cost her. Surrounded by none of her kind she is surely doomed in this horrid place. Humans will be killed if spotted here.
She cannot leave.
Whatever shall she do?
Whoever shall she turn to?
Only time can tell.

Bio: After Emily's parents decided to send her off to a private school, thinking she as better than everyone, Emily ends up in a hell. Her emotions are easily seen and shes kind of a klutz. Her birth date is on October 13, 1992. She was born into a small family, no siblings. Her parents are wealthy, one being an actress, the other being the owner of a great company. She finds it hard to fit in anywhere.

Appearance: 5'5 with light green eyes and long chocolate colored hair. Her smile is shy and her body small.

Hahaha... it's reminds me of Rosario + Vampire. It's was an awesome Anime show, but it was a bit the other way. The boy was the human and the friends the monsters. XDD

Emily shyly stepped into the long dark hallway of the girls dorm wing. Her pink dress didn't seem to fit into the ominous settings of this place. Her light green eyes scanned around, not a person or in her case creature in sight. A low cry from the wind, made her skin crawl and turn ice. She gulped and walked down the stairs into the main area, where everyone hung out, after classes and on weekends. Her long brown hair hung in her eyes. She bit upon her pale lip and had the nerve to turn around. She continued walking, her head low. It was then she ran right smack into another student. Her cheeks turned cherry red, "Sorry, I'm so sorry!" she squeaked out, her voice coated in softness equal to a feather. "Forgive me!"

Atreyu grumbled lightly. "Jesus, kid!" he said to her, rubbing the back of his head where he'd his head had knowcked against the corner of the wall. "Watch where you're going!" he saidto her, frowning down. "Are you lost or something?" he asked her. Most of his face wasn't visable ,only his nose and one eyes, the other covered by hair and his patch, and his mouth covered his the eck of his coat. He almost looked Ninja.

Emily gulped silently, she blushed her pale skin being painted pink.
"I'm terribly sorry. I'm new." She looked up at him, her small eyes grew huge. Her heart pounded in her ears and she stepped back. "Forgive me." She turned quickly away, feeling shy and embarrassed. Her footing slipped and she fell upon the hard wood floor. Every pair of eyes went on her. She flushed a hot red and hide her face with her long brown hair.

Atreyu rolled his eyes, walking over to her and reaching down, offering her a hand. "You should really be more careful, the School's alive, and I have the feeling it deosnt' really like you all that much." he said to her. Every pair of female eyes watching suddenly flared up and a few growls rolled across the room towards Emily. He winked. "Come on, I'll show you to wherever you need to go." he said. "Silly freshman." he murmured to himself, chuckling breathily.

Emily took his hand nervously, her skin warm and smooth. "A-alive?" She gasped out, glancing around nervously. She stood and brushed off her skirts. "My name is Emily." She greeted, trying to be polite. Her voice was soft, like a whisper. She heard the females around her hiss, and growl like she was taking over their property. Her eyes moved about, they all stared at her as if she were the monster. Some eyes pretty shades of reds, pinks, yellows while others were dark and deadly. She tried to keep control of her breathing.
"They must like you." She whispered glancing up at Atreyu once more.
"You are pretty handsome." Her little ears grew pink.
"I-I mean thank you for your help." ><;;
'Why did I just say that? Oh he's going to think I'm weird! I should just keep my mouth shut.'

He grinned slightly to her sudden frightened state. "Yes, alive.." he murmured, trying to help himself a bit. "But in a good way, it's to protect the students from any harm." he said to her, trying to calm her down a bit from her sudden scares.
He chuckled to the females surrounding him who were making threatening noises to Emily, the new girl, the girl he suddenly decided to help as his adoptee for the Advisor program. "How would you like it if I showed you around the school a bit, so you didn't get so lost?" he asked.
He grinned sheepishly then, his own pale skin flushing a bit pink. He winked down to her in a quick notion. He smiled, his face a bit pink. "Um.. Thanks." he murmured to her. no one had realy ever liked him for his looks, only his power, and his abilities. He chuckled down to her. "And it's not a problem. It's my job as a Senior student." he murmured, holding out an arm in offering to guide her.

With a hesitation she grabbed his arm, looping hers with his. A million chills ran down her spine. She tried not to gasp. "Yes that would be fine." Her voice was a bit broken.
"Thank you once more."
"So..what are you?" She tried to carry on a conversation and tried her hardest to ignore the stares that, him and her were getting. Her heart throbbed nervously in her body, she knew she probably brought up a bad question.
Her free hand fingered the star necklace that dangled and sparkled in the light, absently.

Atreyu chuckled to her hesitation. Was he sending off some sort of strange aura? He was usually filled with such pleasant feelings, but of course his snapping earlier when she's run into him had probably frightened her a bit, he was generally know for being a nice guy.
His mind wandered for a few moments before he was pulled back into reality. "Oh!" he said, blinking a few times. "You're quite welcome." he murmured.
they had been walking for a few moments before she'd asked him a question. "Me?" he asked her, almost as if it were a stupid question to ask. "I'm a Nephilim." he said to her, his voice a bit lower now. He didn't really like what he was.

Twilight hurried passed the archway doors, scrambling passed a few of the larger kids who she knew did not like her AT ALL. She whimpered slightly, another tear rolling down her cheek as she carried her books running as quickly as possible. She screamed suddenly, falling to the ground as he staff stuck into the ground and caught her, tripping her as it flew in front of her and landed with a dull thud. She groaned, rubbing her forehead where her markings were as she sighed, reaching out to grab it before a thick foot kicked it away from her. "Oh..." he said. "Poor little witch doesn't' have her magic stick, what's she going to do now?" he mocked her.
"Batlor!" she said to him, gritting her teeth, trying to be a big girl and not get herself into too much trouble. "That's not funny!" she said, getting up and reaching for it as he thick hands wrapped around her waist and squeezed her. "Yeah? Well I think it is." he said, throwing her against the tree. Bruises started to form where he'd grabbed her, and where she'd hit, she could feel them.
She stood right back up, diving and rolling, grabbing her staff, but not before she felt his foot dig into her stomach, her hand slipping and the staff dropping again. "Not so tough without that little tree branch, are you?" he continued to mock her.
A group of kids had formed a circle around them, teasing her, poking at her, but none willing to help her.

Atreyu growled when he saw the two fighting. "BATLOR!" he yelled. The monstrous looking creature turned his head to see the Nephilim and he flinched. "What do you want? Half-breed!" he yelled. Atreyu flared his nostrils, letting go of Emily's arm as he let all six of his blanked wings spread out in unison as it took him a little less than 3 seconds to fly to Baltor and pin him down.
The heel of his foot dug into the beast's neck. "See if you can say that one again." he said, pressing into his neck before letting up, helping Twilight to her feet. "Stay away from her Baltor.." he growled. "That's if you know what's good for you." he said, spitting onto the beast and walking away.

Twilight stood up and grabbed her staff, running once she'd been free. "Thank you, Atreyu..." she murmured before grabbing her things and nearly sprinting to her next class. She turned the corner, leaning against the wall as she breathed heavily, wincing to every breath that she took him.
Who was this new girl that Atreyu was with now?

Emily eyes lit up, a million things went through her mind. "You mean like that bible prophecy? ..When the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them." She recited. Her voice a whisper. She didn't know if these people believed in God. When she thought he was going to answer, her eyes set upon the scene.
'Halfbreed?' She thought to herself. Her eyes grew wide as she watched Atreyu transform and attack the cruel bully. Her skin grew a paste white once more. She couldn't believe what she'd just witnessed. This probably was making her look like a fool...she was suppose to be disguised as witch and here she was gawking at something that should be normal, but in her human eyes, it totally was not!
When he walked back to her, she noticed the witch running away. Her gaze snapped away quickly, "What was that about? Who's he? And her?" She questioned.

Atreyu looked at her curiouly before giving her a half smile. "Not used to the breeds gettign in such a mix up yet, huh?" he asked, referring to the arguements and attacks upon student-to-student fights. he winked. "You'll get used to it." he murmured to her before chuckling. "The guy who was beating on the girl was Horatio, he can be cool sometimes, and an awesome person, but he has a wicked bad temper, and doesn't like Witches." he said to her purely.
He looked at her with keen, twinkling eyes. had he heard a note of jealousy in this girl's voice? He shrugged. "The girl's a childhood friend, but we hardly ever talk anymore. She's one of the school's finest witches, Twilight Matiago." he murmured. "I think you'd get along with her quite well." he chuckled, turning a corner.

"Oh.." She whispered, her breath a little shaky. "I...I'm a hu- I'm a witch." She cut herself off before breaking the truth to him. Who knew what would happen if she was found out. She'd probably be tourtured and dead before midnight. Her head went low as she thought of the terrible thoughts of her own demise. She pursed her lips and spaced out and for a while hadn't spoken again. She looked completely worried and tense.

He chuckled, looking at her. "Oh?" he asked her. "you really will fit right in with Twilight then." he laughed. "The only other thing that's even close to human besides witches is nekos, and they amuse me." he grinned, winking. "Just get your powers? Or are you a little more advanced in your magik?" he asked her.
He frowned she she tilted her head down, was she ashamed? He rached back and stroked her neck softly. "Don't worry bout being a witch..." he mrumured gently. "There's plenty aroudn here, And i'm not one to judge. If you're not accepted into the human-world, then you most certainly belong in this one." he smiled gently. "Here... I'll even show you a secret." he murmured.
he tapped his fingers together twice and a small dark, cherry wood colored hal staff appeared in his hand. He tapped around the end of it and it thickened before beautiful jewels encrusted itself into it. He smiled. "Here... a new staff." he murmured. "It's a little smal, but you can't start out big if you're a beginner. I just made twilight a new one, that's probably why she's so clumsy with it." he murmured.
He turned another corner again, heading up a flight of stairs. "I suppose I'll show you to your dorn room." he said to her. "what's your room number exactly?" he asked her, trying to be smooth as possible.

Emily gave a small smile, "I'm now just receiving my powers." Her eyes moved to the beautiful staff and her breath was stolen. She almost shook her head as if not to take it. Then she stopped, knowing this wouldn't be a smart idea.
"Thank you. I don't know how I could repay you." She gave a bow.
"My..my dorm? Umm.. oh its 123!" She laughed as she saw the pen marks on her palm. With a small flush she smiled.
"Thank you again for helping me..A-treyu." she rolled his name, finding it fun to say.
"Just between you and me..this school scares the spooks out of me." She whispered.

He chuckled. "Don't worry about repaying me, all they pretty little stick costs me is a feather." he winked. He turned the cornered and laughed. "you're right next to me then!" he grinned, winking. "You'll be in the same roon as... Twilight, come to think about it." he grinned. He continued up the stairs before stopping, and strolling down a long hallway. "The school system's not all that worried about gender to gender problems, but more so species on species problems." he said to her.
He laughed at her next comment. "Yeah, it does me too sometimes, but you'll get used to it, i promise." he winked to her, laughing as he knocked on the door of her new room.

Twilight got up off her bed for using a stitching spell, and opened the door and nearly screamed. She fell over, her skirt sliding up and revealign ehr panties embarassingly as she stood up quickly. "Atreyu!" she cried. "Haven't I told you a MILLION times NOT to do THAT!!!?" she yelled in frustration before noticing Emily. "Oh!" she said, almostdoing a little dance. "oh! oh! oh!" she giggled. "Are you my new roomate then?" she asked curiously, peering at Emily.

Emily's eyes immediately ran to the ground, she had no idea what she was going to do.
"Hi." She greeted, politely. "My..my name is Emily." The staff in her hand trembled, Emily was shaking with fear. She wondered if Twilight could tell if she were human. Their certainly had to be some creature here who knew she had human blood and only human blood.
"Pleased to meet you..Yes I'm you're new roommate."

Atreyu noticed her trembling, and he stroked her shoulder softly, very comfortingly. He leaned down and murmured a few words of comfort to her before stepping back. "Well... Twilight, I'll leave you ot your new roommate." he grinned. "I'm right nextdoor, and no doubt the others will stop by." he grinned wickedly. "Just try not to scare her too much, eh?" he teased, before returning to her own room.

Twilight giggled and nodded, "Oh!! I'm not that much of a witch, Atreyu!" she giggled, the pun intended as she welcomed Emily into the room. She saw the staff and grinned. "Ohhh... Streyu must like you if he's given you a staff." she said, grabbing her new staff that was rather large, a little bit taller than herself. "Mine's a bit advanced though." she murmured. "You much be a newbie with such a short start-out." she smiled.
She turned, looking through her shelf before she tapped the staff and another piece of the room unfolded. "I didn't like all the mpty space, so i used a concealer spell, i might be a bit dusty over there, but it's perfetly clean, and ready for anything you might need." she laughed, winking. "So when do you start classes?" she asked.

((like how I'm introducing all my charries slow? It's so Emily can learn about each of them, and like them all before choosing anything or anyone as a friend, bf, or gf. ^_~. ))

Emily wasn't sure of what to think of this girl. Her eyes gazed over the room, it was fairly warm and inviting, nothing like that out of a child's night terrors. She turned to Twilight and gave a warm, friendly smile, her eyes twinkling, "I start classes on Monday. They want me to get settled before I begin to go to the spell casting and the potion making classes." It was strange how she could lie so easily now, it was as if the words just came to here and flowed out smoothly. She hated lying, but this was for the best.
"So what happens to humans if found here?" She tried to make her gaze look curious, and not scared.
Her hands held tightly to the bags she had brought with her. Her staff now leaning against the door.

Twilight giggled. "Wicked!" she smiled, turning as she looked Emily over. "I don't like the dress though, love. You need to be a little more characterized... You look like a Pixie.." she said in distaste. Turning, she grabbed a few things and looked at Emily. "Lets see what you've got from starters, so i can pull out some of the furniture from storage." she said to Emily. "How much stuff to you have?" she questioned to her.
Before Twilight could, poke, prod, or ask anymore questions, a sharp scratching noise hit the door, along with some panting, and a slight whine.

Reyso pawed at the door, whining as he sat patiently. "Twilight!" he yelled to her. "Open the damned door!" she said to her. "If you don't I'll chew through it again!" he yelled to her, pawing at it again, growling slightly as his dog tags clicked against his chest. He sniffed suddenly. "Ohh..." he murmured. "New roomie then?" he asked as Twilight opened the door.
reyso stepped into the room, looking around the newly enlarged room. He whistled thoughtfully. "Nice digs in here now, chica." he said to her, looking at Emily as he grinned, standing up form his couched, dog position. "I'm Reyso, nice ta meet chya." he said to her, grinning. He scratched the back of his head for a minute before smiling. "New witch then, eh?" he grinned, "fresh meet." he said chuckling.

Twilight turned when she asked her around humans. "Humans?" she asked her, and started to laugh. "Sweetheart, humans can't even STEP into our boundaries, our midst." she said sweetly. "We have a magical creature barrier, only creatures who are magical, or transform, or have powers, like us, can step within them." she said to her. "humans.. well... they just die stepping into our territory." she said. "It's like our own kind of sanctuary." Twilight murmured softly.
Two pair of eyes peered at Emily as Reyso spoke up. "Remember when we were in grade school, Twinks?" he asked Twilight as she blushed to the old nickname, but nodded. "People used to pick on you, cause you said she could do magical stuff, and they used to call me a freak cause I had habits like a dog..." he murmured in a low, soft tone. "We weren't the freaks..." he said to her, looking to Emily. "Humans were, cause they couldn't understand what they didn't know.." he said to her.
Reyso leaned up against the door. "finding this place was like a choir line of Angels." he grinned. "Our very own Heaven on earth, where we'd find a place to fit in better than THERE." he said, looking to Emily. "Ya feel the same way, kid?" he asked her.
Both Twilight and Resyo were now looking at Emily with wondering, and pondering eyes. What would her response be to their words?

Emily glanced at them both a little flushed. Her young eyes lowered as she got lost in thought.
'If humans are killled when they first step on this ground, then why haven't I died? If they find out, I'm sure I'll be killed if I don't get out of here!'
Emily spun, grabbing her things and ran out of the room and into the hall. She probably looked like a mad-woman. Her eyesight went blurry, and hot tears ran down her pink cheeks.
She ran down the stairs, her feet stepping on her dress and terrible ripping was heard. She tumbled down the stairs, cutting her forehead on a small statue made of marble. Everyone once again stared.
A few vampires and vampiresses wrinkled their noses.
She trembled and found herself sobbing. Her small hands covered her face and she cried her soul and heart out into her hands, just wanting the comforting embrace of her family.
A heat flared up into her chest. Her blood ran down the side of her head.
No one moved.
(Sorry I haven't replied in so long. I've been doing finals at school. I like the way you seem to bring your characters to life.)

Galavander was turning the corner to go up the stairs just as Emily started to fall. He felt her body rush through his as he shivered before turning, solidifying. He stood there for a moment, before turning, and walking over to her, kneeling down and offering her a hand. He stroked her cheek gently. "Shh... Shh..." he murmured gently. "Don't cry..." he murmured soothingly.
He picked her up into his arms, wiping some of the blood away from her head before carrying her over to eon of the lounge couches in an empty room. "now, now..." he continued gently.
As much as Galavander's intentions seemed so pure, he was quite a pervert still. He saw her as a new find, someone he could pick up easy if he could slip into her good side.
He stroked her cheek. "first day, huh?" he started. "It's always a hard start here, but it will get better, I promise.

Twilight raced after her, but Galavander got to her first as she stood and watched, making she he didn't do anything stupid, or cruel to her before he started talking to her. twilight smiled, and turned back to Reyso, winking and then shoving him out of her dorm, and starting to put Emily's things away.
Twilight was kind, trying to coordinate everything together as best as she could, everything from panties to coats, to shoes, to other articles of clothing. She smiled after being finished, waving her staff as Emily's side of the room suddenly turned into funky shades of pink, and green, turning the room a bit of a techno style.

((And it's quite alright that you haven't posted, I haven't' been on in a while... for QUITE a while acctually... hehe... ^^; And thank you for the character comment, I like drawing things out. Doesn't it seem like an ACCTUAL day, and not just an RP day of an hour??))

Emily glanced up at him, her puffy eyes and red face probably made her look like an idiot. She looked away nervously, her heart hammered in her chest, without thinking she murmured, "I'm gonna die."
With a hiccup she looked back at this boy, her mind racing and stopping.
"W-who are you?" She asked, her voice high in worry, she couldn't trust anyone right now.
"I want to go home. I'm going to die." Her cheeks were flushed and her skin radiated a strong heat, she was running a fever.

Everyone peered into the room, their eyes pinned on the new girl.

Galavander peered down to her with wide, fiery red eyes. He chuckled then, cradling her in his arms. "You're not going to die, hun, you're going to be perfectly fine. Atrum Academy is the safest place to be in, I promise." he murmured gently, stroking her hair as he sat down with her in his lap.
A few scowls were tossed at her, but he continued to calm her down. "I haven't seen a break down like this since I can here, and that was pretty bad." he laughed, winking to her. He looks into her eyes again, his own imploring, and questionative. "Now... What is your name? My Name is Galavander." he said to her sincerely.

Atreyu turned the corning, biting into an apple he'd grabbed from the cafeteria when he saw Galavander, and sighed. He stepped behind him, peering over his shoulder to Emily, and raising an eyebrow. "Picking on the freshmen again, eh, Galavander? Look, you made this adorable new witch cry." he frowned, scolding him.
He offered his hand to Emily, "Come on, Galavander can be a bully, sometimes, but don't let him get the best of you." he winked, his eyes and smile warm and inviting.

Galavander growled, standing up abruptly and growling as he shoved Atreyu against the wall, his eyes a blazing red color. "Don't push your luck with me this year, you Connivail BRAT!" he spat at him. This only made Atreyu growl in return.
"You should remember your place, you Street Pixie.." he snarled in return. Galavander roared, smashing Atreyu agaisnt the wall before Twilight came rushing foreward, and touched his arm softly, a purple sparkle rippling through Galavander, and his legs faltered under him.
He snarled to Twilight, er... TRIED to snarl at her as he was on his knees, and Atreyu sneered. "On your knees is where you belong... Just like the low-life you are..." he said with a bitter laugh, before turning, and leaving. "I'll leave the witch to you, Twilight... Make sure Galavander behaves himself, please, Reyso?" he asked.

Everyone in the courtyard stopped, turning and looking at Twilight, and the shocked, but stone-like Atreyu now. "He was helping her! You insignificant fool! Stop walking around here like you're better than all of us, because you're worse! We're considered the outcasts of the human world, but at least we're not the outcasts of even the Human's worship!" she cried, her hands shaking as the staff in her hand grew, and began changing as purple sparks writhed through it.

Emily sniffled, her eyes dripping small salty tears. Her voice broke out in a breakable whisper, "My..my name is..Emi-ly." She hicupped softly. As Atreyu appeared, her eyes locked with his warm and compasionate eyes. Her small fingers reached for his without thinking and then all hell broke loose.

Emily watched as the fight went on, her lips mumbling "Stop." Her flesh crawling with goosebumps from fear and her entire form shaking. "Stop it!" She cried loudly.
Her eyes going closed and more tears leaking down her soft and pink cheeks.
