Stella walked into the confrence room and get her breifcase on the huge table. She looked around at all the faces. They stared back at her.
"Excuse my tardness" she coughed

Jeremy was standing outside of the tent at the moment. Prior arangements.

She sat down and opened her case and pulled a naval file out. It was huge.

Jeremy walked in slowly, and no one question him.

Stella stood and opened the file and took a few sheets out.
"Well, as you know the war in Russia is become incresingly diffacult and we are losing more men by the day"

They watched silently, taking in all the intel.

"I think that we should send in more air force-"
SHe was intrupted by the commander of the air force standing up.
"why do my guys need to go in there?" he asked
"well i thought-"
"we need someone who knows not thinks"
"I uhh well im sorry" she managed as a blush slightly appeared.

Jeremy threw his glass of water at the Master Sargent. It hit him in the face, breaking his nose. "You have no right to question a superior officer. Be glad I only broke your nose and not your neck. You, are hereby thrown out of this meeting, and will not come back to any more. Everyone here knows that a good ground force, is only as good as it's air and sea support."

Stella looked at him. But she quickly looked away.She pushed the files into the folder and put it in the case.
"well gentlmen i have to go" she said a she went out the door.

"Get the Master Sargent a medic for his nose. If you need me, contact me." Jeremy said, standing up and leaving.

She hurried out the door.
"what the hell is wrong with me?" she asked outloud.

"I don't know Captain." Jeremy said calmly.

She jumped dropping her case and her purse.
"oh im sorry i was...uh..." she blushed and looked down

"Thats ok." Jeremy said calmly as he picked them both up for her.

She took them.
"thank you" then she hurried to her Yukon.

Jeremy smiled and went to his jeep.

~The next day~
Stella walked into main command and into the Majors office.

Jeremy wasn't at the base today. He had called in, saying he needed to rest. That he had been throwing up, could hardly move, and couldn't keep anything down.

"YOU NEED ME TO DO WHAT?!" She shouted at major.
"take care of the army lit." He said calmly.
"WHY?" she shouted
"cuz he needs to get better and your the best we have"
SHe fell into the chair.
"oh alright fine"
"good now heres his address Now shoo" He said smiling.
She went to her yukon and drove to his house. SHe went to the door and knocked.

Jeremy buzzed the front door from bed. "Yes?" He said weakly.

"Lit.? This is Captain Maire Ive come because i heard you were sick"

Jeremy buzzed the front door open and pretty much collapsed back onto his bed.

She smiled and got up and went and got him something to drink.

She smiled and patted his cheek.

A blush creeped into her cheeks.

Jeremy chuckled before falling into a light sleep.

SHe walked into the living room. Her phone chriped in her purse.
"yes?" she answered

She peeked in and checked on him.

There was a beep from a computer in the corner.

SHe walked over and sat down in front of it.

As soon as she touched it, a knife flew inches away from her face. "Don't touch that. Personal stuff. Information on everyone I need to keep under control."

She was visably shaking.

Jeremy coughed a little.

She quickly got up and hurried out of the room.

Jeremy staggered to the computer. He looked at the file...it was on her.

"commander i cant do this i need to leave......i dont want to tell you......well lets just say hes as good as they say......i just cant stay here......but-.....commander i-.......fine" she hung up and plopped down on the couch.

Jeremy read her file, and knew everything about her within a few minutes.

She slipped her shoes off and curled them under her butt and then turned the tv on. She changed it to cold case files. Then she laid down and watched it sliently.

Jeremy moved slowly and silently down beside her,

SHe quickly sat up.

SHe got up and went into the kitchen. She waved her hands in front of her face.

She turned around and leaned against the door.

She turned her head away and let her hair fall across her eyes.

"Listen to me. I have inteligance on every high ranking officer, every official, every president."

SHe skirted around him.
"im sorry can i go now?" she asked.

Jeremy unlocked the door before collapsing from the exhaustion he had been putting his body under/.

Jeremy spasmed a little, cracking his head off the wall.

She turned and saw him do this. The anger flooded out of her and worry replaced it. She rushed over.
"Lit. are you alright?"

SHe grabbed the phone and dialed 911.
~30 minutes later~
SHe paced the waiting room. Then a doctor came out.
"Is he alright?"
"are you his wife?" the doctor asked
"why?"
"only family members are allowed info and to vist." The man said
"Yes! im his wife" she said automaticly.
"well then come with me. He is awake and responding"
They walked into his room.
"ill leave you too alone"
He walked out.
"Lit. what were you thinking?"

She got up and patted his hand. Then turned and walked out.

SHe can back and sat next to his bed.

"oh whatever" she leaned back back in the chair.

Stella was talking to the doctor. Then she walked inside.

She raced home. She got in her door and locked it and leaned against.
"What have you done? you just flirted with a officer! you cant make the same mistake as before" SHe picked a picture of a man and a little boy.

Shed climbed in her bed, which seemed to empty and fell asleep.

Jeremy slept in his own bed, seeming too empty, facing her direction, not knowing it. Pretty much if they were side by side, they'd be facing eachother, and he'd have her hand in his.

She cried in her sleep. But she got up and rushed to the phone. She dialed the commanders number.
"yes?"
"Commander i need to be tranfered"
"But why you just got here."
"please commander im begging you"
"alright ill transfer you to fort nocks out in Cali"

Two words seemed to whisper in her ear. "I'm sorry." It was him...but he wasn't there.

SHe quickly turned around and looked. No one was there.

Jeremy was at home, alone, with a glass of scotch in front of him.

"ok im going crazy" she shook her head and went into her bedroom and started to pack.

The phone rang. It was her superior, telling her that her transfer had been denied.

"DAMNIT TO F.U.C.K.I.N.G hell!!" she screamed and punched her wall.

"Theres a reason. The...lietenant told us to cancel your transfer...and put in for one of his own."

[Yuna1012]

"what? no...no Cancel his and put in mine please you gotta! your the commander you can do that!"

"No. I can't. He's a higher up. He personally told me to not let you go."

"no no Commander! you cant! you gotta do something! talk to someone! please!!!??" she cried into the phone

"I can't. And...the place he wanted was even wierder. He's never shown interest in anone before you...but now his transfer is...oh sweet Jesus. I think he's going to off himself. He wanted his transfer to be to Styx. The River Styx. The river of the dead." The commander said, shocked, finally realising it. Jeremy finished his 4th glass, and picked up his gun.

"COMMANDER!" she hung up the phone and ran out the house and started running to his house. Tears started flowing as a thunderstorm rolled in.

Jeremy looked at the six shot revolver, and started loading it.

SHe busted in his door, her clothes shoked down to her skin.

Jeremy spun the six chambers, locking it into place before he flicked the safety off.

She ran into his room and tackled him to the ground.

The gun went off, shooting a picture of him, and destroying it completely.

"not on my watch lit." she wispered

"you dont know Lit. you dont know! I left my son with his real father and came here. I fell for my superior and we had a kid. My rep was shot after that. My friends all shunned me and my family did too. I just thought that if it happened again id have to start over again. I didnt want your life to be skrewed up because of me" she put her face in her hands.

Jeremy moved her hands and kissed her passionatly, then pulled her close and hugged her. "My life has already been screwed up. If you entered it...it would only make it better. Fu.ck what they say. I only need the person I love to get by."

Jeremy kissed her softly, then picked her up, and got up. He kicked the door shut gently, and carried her to the bedroom. "I'm going to take your clothes off so you don't catch pneumonia or something."

She jumped and fell out of the bed with a thud.

She yawned and closed her eyes. Her arms pulled the covers as she curled into a ball.

Her eyes fluttered opened and found him sleep next to her. She wiggled out of his grip and went into the bathroom and got into the shower.

Jeremy stretched slowly, and went downstairs to make breakfast.

She went into his room and pulled on his pants and grabbed a button down shirt. She left it open and went downstairs.

Jeremy was just finishing when she walked in. "Damn. Now, there is nothing sexier then a woman dressed in a guy's pants and button shirt, with the shirt open." He said, eyeing her.

SHe rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"dont even think about it" she said opening the Fridge and getting the orange juice.

SHe punched his arm. The poured herself a glass.

"oh jeez thanks..." she said looking up at him. Then She started to eat and finished quickly. SHe got up and took care of the plate and her glass then started for the stairs.

Jeremy smiled and cleaned them all before he made sure her clothes were clean and dry before taking them up to her.

She was in his bathroom brushing out her hair. SHe did it slowly, her mind seemed to be somewhere else.

Jeremy laid them on the bed. "Your clothes are dry if you want to wear them."

SHe blinked as his statement brought her out of her trance.
"what?..oh alright..." she said as she set the brush down. SHe walked over and dropped the shirt right in front of him and started to put hers on then dropped the pants and put on her skirt.

"i guess..." she picked up his clothes and folded them then put them awa.

Jeremy walked in slowly, and hit the counter. A small drawer, full of make-up and the stuff she would need popped out. "I figured I might need it someday. If I ever got a girlfriend."

"Oh god this is all expencive stuff" Then she started to do her make up. She was done soon. Her eyes sparkled.

Jeremy smiled a little as he looked at her. "I think you look gorgeous either way."

"I wanted to tell you that im working on your transfer.....what the hell is she doing there at this time of night?" He asked

"Two things. One, cancel my transfer. I'm not leaving now. Two, what she's doing here, is between her and me. Ask again, and I'll have you courtmarshalled."

Stella took the phone.
"Im sorry commander...please forgive him..."
"oh its quite alright...you kids have fun now" he chuckled and hung up.
Stella shook her head and put the phone back.
"You sir, are impossible" she sighed and got out of bed taking the sheets with her. She went to the window and looked out.

She turned towards him and looked up. Her hands ran along his huge biceps. She noticed that he was flexing them as she touched them.
"Jeremy....whyd you pick me?"

"Because they weren't willing to give you a chance. I wanted to."

"what do you mean they?" she asked as her eyes turned on his forearm.

"The other higher ups. You heard the air captain."

She looked away.
"Yes....yes i did..." she stepped away and walked towards the door and leaned against the frame.

She giggled. Then they got in and drove to work. When they got there, walking inside everyone was stareing at them.
