Myth:They were given a special power and sent to earth by the gods. They are the Protectors of Magical Creatures.
Truth: They were born with a gift they use to protect Magical Creatures from humans and humans from them so it is both ways basically.
Past: Now is the time when the first Protector was found. A boy about 10 lay on the sands of the beach as Unicorns stood over him. The people that found him thought that the Unicorn was going to kill him so they tried to shoot it but the boy was on his feet in a second and the bullet was turned to ice.
“Never hurt these creatures.” he said as the icy bullet dropped to the ground.
A hunter said “But we thought it was going to kill you.”
“I’m a protector.” replied the boy.
The people turned and hurried away thinking that the boy is crazy and needs some help. So they quickly returned with their healer to see that the boy was no longer there and the Unicorn was just laying there as if dead, but it was asleep. One of the men went up to kill it when the water turned to ice and the boy stood on the other side of the river with a strange look on his face. He would kill anybody that touched the Magical Creatures.
Present: Now there are new Protectors but not of Unicorns and those sort of creatures but of Demons, Vampires, and Lycans that live on the streets of their Hometown. These six kids may look like everyday gang kids but if you try to hurt any creature they will hunt you down and hurt you. They are a gang called the ‘Vipers’ and their rival gang is trying to kill the creatures and they call themselves the ‘Reapers’. Ironic that these two gangs hate each other so much one wants to protect the creatures and the other wants to kill them. Now their story is just beginning but when will it end.

Syuki likes to sing, dance and have fun with her friends. She has always loved to fight so she is always there to defend the creatures. She is a girl who likes to hang out at the skatepark.

Personality-
Syuki is very protective of her friends and her younger sister Selene who stays by her side all the time. She may look like a innocent girl but she will hurt anybody who gets on her bad side. When she is around her little sister she is very kind and caring but can also be very playful.
History-
Syuki was 12 when her mom had Selene and then a year later her parents were killed by a creature. Syuki took her sister away to her gang since she was part of it at the time and they helped her protect her since she was a vampire. She has never told Selene what happened to mom and dad and probably never will until she is older because she can’t stand more heart breaks from anybody.

When she was born her parents realized she was different and sent her to a school where she could learn to control her power but she did not want to go. When she was five she started to skip going to school. One day when she got home she learned that her dad was off on a trip and had left mom at home which she thought was strange. But she learned that her father was a vampire and so was her mother but she was not because of her gift it stopped the change when she was a child but it would not stop the change as she got older.

By the time she was 12 she learned that her mom was going to have a baby girl but her mom asked her to pick out the name and she decided to do the named Selene after the heroine of Underworld. She raised her little sister because her mom was always at work and their dad never returned from his trip. A year passed and Syuki took Selene everywhere with her, even to school. Selene learned so much but never really paid attention just sat there and colored. One day they returned home to find police at their house and Syuki rushed inside to see her mom was dead.

Now Syuki just turned 17 a day ago and her sister is 5. They work together to fight the ‘Reapers’ but when the ‘Reapers’ get some new members the sisters are forced to leave with their gang. It was disappointing but the Selene started to wake up in the middle of the night screaming as a creature got killed which forced Syuki to get the gang back together.

Mind powers: Telekinesis {moving stuff with mind}, mind reading {read somebody’s mind}, and illusions {cast pictures of whatever she wants}
Other-
She is like the other ‘Vipers’ and breaks all the laws because one of these days the laws are going to change and she will do nothing until they are changed.

Personality-
Adderwyn has a very complex personality because she can harbor other peoples emotions but overall she is very unique. She is a kind and gentle person when the time is right and at times she is very angry and deppressed for no apparent reason. She loves children, creatures, and animals and is very motherly to all.
History-
Adderwyn nearly died at birth and that gave her the power of allsightt and empathy. In the end both of these gifts have caused her tp split into many emotional selves and personalities. She doesn't have MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder) As she can tell what each of her sides is thinking and doing but she just looses control of her normal self.
She has had a few run ins with the law, but has been found not guilty all the times she has been there. She is not afraid to speak her mind to anyone she just doesn't because she doesn't want to hurt them. She also has had a very abusive childhood from her peers and little sister, who died due to a diabetic coma.
She has had a rough childhood but it has shaped her motherly instincts and she can predict when the good and the bad is going to happen through foresight. But her overall history is very simple she has had a lot of problems with herself thus causing her to get into trouble basically.

Personality- Gabriel is one of a kind, he can be sweet but also can turn right around and be down right nasty. He tends to be a flirt but never makes the woman feel less then she should feel. He can be coc.ky when the moment calls for it. His sarcasm can get really bad when you are gullable.
History-
Gabriels history is one that most people can probably relate to. He grew up in a fairly good home until things started to fall apart when he was six, his parents started to fight more and some nights it got violent. Alcohol was starting to be used more and more as it got worse until one night his father decided to shoot his mother and his little sister. They thankfully died instantly but Gabriel fought back and his father ended up shooting himself in the gut severing his spine. He was caught and charged with murder of his family but soon after he had died.

He never felt pity when the cops told him that his father had died in the hospital. Gabriel was only seven when it all went down. He was sent to his aunts house and well his aunt was slightly crazy and twisted but she never meant any harm to him for she was the only thing that tied her to reality. She was his only living reletive. Lucky him, Gabriel grew up slightly twisted from seeing his family murdered in front of him by his own father.

Gabriel was 18 when the vipers were created and instantly he fell into it and enjoyed the pleasure of having ACTUAL friends for once. He fit in.
Powers-
* Necromaner- He can raise the dead and make them do whatever he commands. From dance to kill.
* Shadowmancer- He can take shadows and make them a weapon or even make it so that he can travel from one place to another, from shadow to shadow. It is the power that made people afraid of the dark.
* Muse- Its what he calls it but he can make things happen when he plays his guirtar. He doesn't really know how it works but he knows something happens when he plays. Sometimes a small amount of blue butterflies fly around him and sometimes dark butterflies. It depends on his mood. (Going off of the picture O.o I thought it was interesting)
Other- He has several peircings and tattoos.

Selena ran to the Vipers hideout as fast as she could and ran into Syuki and said "I found out the Reapers plans...well some of theirs until they chased me off." Syuki picked her little sister up and walked into the meeting room where the others were.

Jinx yawned sitting at the table. "This is such a drag........."He was vlearly bored while he played witha bottle of water.

"This isn't fair!" Alice was throwing a hissy fit, which she rarely did.

[Ziae]

"Such a pretty creature you are." Using his index finger and thumb, he held the tiny fairy by its wings. It struggled helplessly as he cackled loudly. "Hm...I think I'll cut you open and see whats makes you so different from us humans." He pulled a cleaver from under his work table. "Yes. Thats exactly what I'm going to do.."

Allegra was drawing in her notebook when Selena entered. "Ah...Hello there." She lifted the hand that wasn't holding the pencil in greeting. The manacle around her wrist jiggled and the leather bounded tome connected to the chain started to shake as the space between its pages glowed blue.

Selene said "I have plans...that are not to cool either. Not to mention they captured a fairy. Hey Allegra!!" Syuki said "Wow...I'm guessing they are going to kill it." "How did...hey you cheat." said Selene when she realized that her older sister had read her mind.

"Why do you get to kill it?" Rei poutedcrossing her arms.

[Ziae]

The light coming from her pages died down. "Too late. Its already dead." Allegra said bluntly before she started to sketch the one responsible for killing the fairy..

"Mm..Impressive skeletal frame." Seth wrote in his mini blue notebook. "But whats the source of your power I wonder.." He pushed the golden fairy dust into a vial and tucked it away in the lining of his coat for later use. He looked back at Alice. "Because I'm the smart one, Dumbass. Plus...I caught it so it was my kill." He grinned at her and wiped his blood stained hands on his black coat.

Selene started to cry and Syuki knelt beside her and whispered "Go get Jinx." The little girl ran off and yelled "Jinx play with me!" "We are not doing to hot." said the Protector with a sigh.

"Whatever ." Rei flipped him off then walked off.

"Yeah." Allegra said as she examined her now finished work. "I'm starting to worry for my life." She said with a deadpan look on her face. "You guys are starting to suck so I'm worried I might be next."

Seth chuckled darkly. "She did ask..." He said as he dumped the corpse in the trashcan. He had no further use for it.

Syuki said "You'll be fine. I'm going to go make sure there are no other magical creatures wandering around." She turned and left. Selene said "Play with me...hey Yuki left me..."

Alice sighed and walked out and grumbled "I ain't got time for this shi.t"

"erm ok....wanna see a trick?" JInx asked with a half smile

"Yeah." said Selene as she clapped her hands. Syuki smiled as she walked out.

A figure stood in the shadows and had been watching Alice and Seth the whole time. "Really must you two fight all the time...we have bigger problems to worry about. Already there are two creatures in the Vipers hideout and soon to be more." Kyler said in a light tone as he walked out of the shadows.

JInx opened the water bottle, the water rose then took the shape of Selene and waved.

Selene said "Cool..hey come with me to find Syuki." 'Hey Selene, I tell the others to come outside...I have to show the Vipers something.' Syuki said to her sister mentally. The little girl repeated the message to Jinx. Syuki was standing in the back of the alleyway investigating the bodies of some dead creatures. She wondered how they had managed to get killed so close to the Viper hideout.

[Ziae]

"Yeah." said Selene as she clapped her hands. Syuki smiled as she walked out.

A figure stood in the shadows and had been watching Alice and Seth the whole time. "Really must you two fight all the time...we have bigger problems to worry about. Already there are two creatures in the Vipers hideout and soon to be more." Kyler said in a light tone as he walked out of the shadows.

Seth glanced over his shoulder. "But Kyler was just answering one of Alice's little questions. We weren't fighting." He grinned at him. "And theres nothing to worry about. Not like those snakes can guard them forever."

"You would be surprised what they can do." said Kyler.

Dante sighed as she pushed off the walls. She was acting as the "Lookout" as the two were playing with their fairy. "I think that we are starting to get to the Vipers. Or am I the only one with this feeling?" she said as she walked up to everyone scratching her head next to her ear before she tucked her silvery hair out of her face. She was too young to have gray hair but it made her look sexier.

Gabriel walked into the hide out yawning and stretching his arms behind his head. He looked around with his crystal blue eyes his gutair hanging on his back, "Hey guys whats crackin?" he said with a smirk on his face, "Did I miss anything while I was gone?" he said softly as he looked at everyone. All the pretty girls around him but did any of them like him? He just shrugged at the thought, he wasn't going to let his loneliness get to him tonight. Not with everyone around.

Syuki said "More victims but by the police." Selene hugged her sister tightly when she saw the bodies.

[Ziae]

Seth raised his shoulders at Dante. "Maybe but if you want my opinion, I don't think so." He started to pout. A fairy. All he managed to capture was a fairy. You can find them anywhere. He wanted something big like an unicorn or maybe even a kelpie. Seth rubbed his chin as a plan started to form. It isn't hard to capture an unicorn especially if you have the necessary tools and a virgin maiden to lure it.

Allegra lifted her head to look at the male that just entered. 'What was his name again?' She was never really good with names. The only one she truly knew without having to search her notebook was the little one, Selene. 'Angel? Nah that can't be right.' She frowned and searched through her notebook. On her free time, she did a line drawing of each Viper with their names next to it. 'Oh yeah. Its Gabriel.' "Hello." Allegra greeted and closed her book.

Selene started to walk away and her sister hurried after her as they went to the Reaper's hideout and snuck inside. 'If I say run you run got it and yell for one of the other Vipers.' Syuki said to Selene mentally. Her sister nodded as they stood in the shadows and watched them.

Dante saw the smirk on Seths face and smirked, "And what is on the demented mind of Seth?" she said softly curious of what he was plotting this time. She always enjoyed the plots he came up with. He was just far more intelligent when it came to "How things worked" then she was but hey at least she got to be apart of a plot that made her happy.

Gabriel smiled at Allegra but his gaze went to Selene when she ran in saying what she did, "Why, whats going on? What did I miss?" He asked really wondering what had happened that had gotten her spooked and telling them all that if she says run we better run. He hated the feeling of knowing that things were going to hit the fan here soon. He knew about all the things that the Reapers were doing but he hadn't heard about the reacent things. He was out making money while they all stayed at the hideout.

Because honestly...Its just a matter of time before the Reapers get bolder then they already are and attack the base." She stuffed them in her tote bag. 'Run.' Syuki urged her sister and backed away quietly. The little girl ran out and returned to the base while her sister continued to spy. Selene ran in and asked "Why do you have trust issues?"
