"doesn't seem like they noticed." Luke stated giving Ally a small wink. Ally sighed then stood as the bell rang. Luke fallowed her out and into the hall. Having lockers next to them didn't help. Luke wouldn't admit it but he really liked seeing Daytons drawing when his locker opened. He was a wonderful artist. Ally looked at Luke and smiled "Your thinking about those drawings again arent you?" she asked him. "What?! No!" he yelled at her.

Who stuffed her poem into her pocket quickly.Luke looked at Dayton then at Rain, "So what's that?" he asked Dayton seeing a sheet of drawing paper in his hand.

Luke sighed then sat down. He opened his book and started to read again. "Sometimes I hate loving reading so much.."He passed and looked over at Dayton. "It's the glasses you see they make me look like such a dork. Don't you think?" He asked trying to keep conversation while Ally confessed her self to Rain.

"Nah - they make you look like you actually have a mind and use it unlike half the other school population." he said, smiling over at Luke. Dayton didnt know what was going on but it worked. Hoepfully, Ally didnt get too involved with Rain. Him and Rain didnt exactly have the most stable relationship - but they were all eachother had.

Rain blinked. Hesitently, she took it. "Thanks..." she said, blinking at the cigarette. "What...?" she asked, looking at Ally. Sighing softly, she stuck a piece of gum in her mouth for the moment. "What did you want me to read?" she gave in.

Dayton, after clearing his throat, gently took the pencil. Along the way, his skin brushed against Luke's. Blushing, he took the pencil quickly and went back to trying not to blush.

Rain was now giving Dayton a noogie for knocking her out of her daydream. It wasnt innocent, and that's why Rain was mad. Red-faced (either blushing or just that mad) she was on his back, one arm around his neck and her other hand giving him a noogie. "DAMN JOOOO!" she yelled, some in playful, some in meaning. "I-I didnt mean too! C'mon, Rainy Day!" he said and that made her give him more of one. "DONT CALL ME THAAAAT!"

Luke wasn't expecting this but didn't mind it ment he didn't have to go. Though Luke wanted Ally to get with Rain, he couldn't help but feel a bit of jelusy(sp). Ally was already out in the open about being a lesbian, but he wasn't out yet. He wanted so badly to not be so worried about what everyone thought, not only that Luke didn't have anyone he really felt like coming out for. Dayton was so close, but Luke was scared of getting his heart broken again.

Luke had found his way to the park and sat down. His mind going over his conversation with Dayton. He really did enjoy talking with him.

Ally had ran home to pick out her dress for the party. She wished Luke was here to help her pick it out, but he had dissapeared after they talked to Dayton and Rain. Ally knew Luke must be feelin sad for not having a date for the party.

Ally finally picked out 3 dresses and would ask Luke's opion when he got there.

Luke had wondered to the mall and picked out an outfit for the party. He would normally go with the normal slacks and a nice shirt but this time he went with a more Goth/Punk look. Luke carried the bag of clothes over to Ally's and helped her finish picking out her dress.

Dayton picked something straight out of Hot Topic. Rain decided to go with more... formal and more of her background heratige: Chinese. She held up a dress and Dayton did a wolf whistle, gathering the attention of everyone in the store. Flipping him off, she went to go try it on.

Ally smiled at her self in the mirror it really did suit her well. She smiled at Luke and mentally thanked him fro helping her pick it out. Luke esscorted Ally down the stares and out toward the limo that would take her to the party.

"Are you sure you can still run in that thing?" Dayton taunted the girl that was behind him by a few strides. Growling softly, Rain pulled her skirt up and prooved just how well she could run in that thing. Now, it was vice versa - Rain was grinning back at Dayton.

Ally stood next to Luke greeting people as they came in, her nerves really starting to get to her. She kept telling her self Rain wouldn't stand her up, but as time passed and it drew closer for the true perpous(sp) of the part to be reaveald . Rain had still not showen up. Ally turned to Luke, "well you may just have to be my escort into this thing." she stated as she gripped the hem of her dress with one hand. Luke looked at her shocked, "me? your escort to your coming out/birthday party, your kidding right?" he asked as he looked down at her. "Yes, i don't think she is coming." Ally stated letting her fears get the best of her. Luke sighed "Al's she will be here, trust me." he ststed calmly as he placed a hand on her side to confert(sp) her.

When Rain could see the place, she stopped. When she did, Dayton ran into her, but she stayed on her feet as she fixed her hair, skirt and put her shoes on. Catching her breath, she began walking, like a lady, to the party door. "Hello, Lady of the Hour." Rain greeted, smiling to Ally. Dayton jogged up, waving and smiling. He had natually messed up and crazy hair so it was useless to try and fix it. He, in short, left it the heck alone.

Ally turned back to Rain. "I'm glad you came, I would have looked werid walking in there with a guy on my arm for my coming out party." She stated hoping Rain wouldn't be mad at her for not telling her the true point of this party. "By the way you look amazing." Ally stated to her. Luke smiled at this then stepped away from Ally and slowly walked over to the door to the party

He didn't have the heart to tell her no, he was hoping Ally would save him from having to dance with the girl. Luke sighed when Ally just grind at him.

Dayton blinked, slightly confused. He grabbed Luke. "Come on, dear, the party's waiting." he said to Luke with a drop dead georgous smile and led him away, girls flirting or not. In short, to the girls, the answer was NO.

A bit bafled Luke let Dayton drag him away from the two girl now staring blankly at each other. Once they were out of earshot and eyes sight of the girls he sighed. "Thank you so much Dayton." He stated as he pulled dayton into a small hug. "your a life saver." He whispered into Dayton's ear before letting him go. Luke fixed his jacket then looked over at ally and rain to hide the hint of pink in his cheeks. "I'm glad you two showed up when you did. Ally was starting to freek out a bit. " He said in a calm and cool tone.

Ally slowly walked toward the door feeling her heart start to race even more. This was her final moment before letting the world know she liked girls and they would have to dael with it.

Dayton blushed slightly, fiddeling with his jacket. He actually liked being that close to Luke... NO, STOP IT! His head yelled at him. Dayton and relationships had a tendancy not to mix so he attempted to avoid them.... but, so far, it was failing. Dayton nodded at Luke's words. "I'm sorry, me and Rain turned it into a competition." he said, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.

Rain held her hand comfortingly with a smile. If the world didnt like it, they could kiss her a** because she did NOT care.

Luke chuckled then turned his eyes back to Dayton. "well at least Ally is happy again." He stated then scaned Dayton from head to toe. "You look amazing tonight." He said as his Sliver eyes pearing into Dayton's eyes.

Ally took a deep breath then smiled as she stepped into the room full of people. Everyone turned and looked at her and Rain then started claping. Ally was glowing as people came up to her and Rain, they cept telling her she was lucky to find someone so attractive(sp).

Rain just stood there, listening to the complements and buckets of attention. Some of it was for her - being 'attractive' and such - but most of it was for Ally so she just sat back and stayed quiet.

Luke was suprized but let him self be drug out onto the dance floor. As he turned toward Dayton he desided to take his jacket off. Luke slipped out of it and set it aside revealing his nicely toned arms and a shirt tight enough to show his toned chests and abs as well.

Ally walked upstair and into her room. She bent down and started the fire in her fire place to worm the room up. Then she leaned on the wall next to it not far from her bed.

Luke smiled back then went back to eating. He hoped that Dayton didn't regret lastnight. After all they hadn't planed it, plus Luke didn't quite ask Dayton to be his boyfriend yet even though this party was ment to show off your boyfriend. Luke hadn't told Dayton this yet. But you coukd guess it from the way he is about it.

Ally pulled her hair lose and let it fall around her shoulders. This was the first time she had let anyone see her with her hair completely down. Not even Luke has seen her like this.

Luke looked at him and wondered how he could have even known. He then smiled and reached across the table taking one of Dayton's hands in his. "Dayton, I was gonna wait to ask you, but would you like to be mine forever?"

Luke swallowed hard. "well I'm asking if you would be my boyfriend..." He stated feeling his face heat and the lump in his throat get bigger.

Ally smiled at this, Rain liked it. "Thank you, you are the frist to see it." she stated reaching out and lightly rubbing Rain's cheek with her thumb.
