Revoldus sat in the small tree, watching the man eat his sandwich. He smiled and jumped down, inching his way to the oblivious eater. He got close to his head and whispered, "You should save that for later, she doesn't need it." The man looked over at his daughter and frowned. His daughter smiled and licked her lips. The Father humphed and put his sandwich in his bag. The little girl sighed and nibbled on her apple. Revoldus smiled and walked away. He stared at the sky and frowned. "Today's so boring."

Revoldus continued walking, whispering terrible things in people's ears along the way. He was getting bored with these people... They were so easy to influence, and he needed some sport. He headed for the nearest church and smiled.

Revoldus walked up to the Church and smiled. "Catholics... Always easy." He slipped through the doors and his skin burned slightly. If this were back in the day, he would have burnt to a crisp. But the Faith in the congregation changed all that and he moved about freely. He walked up the central pathway and eased up beside the pulpit. The priest continued preaching and yelling to the people. He leaned over and smiled. "These people are so rich, and yet you get paid so little. Why not take their offerings? Who's going to know?" The priest paused, then shook his head before calling out. "If.. if we could have the offering now, God would be pleased with his people." Revoldus laughed and clutched his sides. Even the priest...

Revoldus continued laughing as the offering was taken. "You're all weak, oh ye of little faith. I have my way with your minds, and you are all like puppets on a string." He laughed loudly and stomped his feet. The congregation seemed hesitant and frowned as his presence affected their demeanor. They started offering less, as his mere aura of greed surrounded them. He continued laughing and fell to the floor. "This... this is tooo much..."

Revoldus slowly stopped laughing, wiping his eyes with his arm. "Oh... ha... I didn';t expect to see you here. Someone about to keel over? Let me know so I can make them cancel their life insurance." He laughed loudly and clutched his sides. He loved making the humans change their minds so easily. They were so weak, and it was so easy to manipulate them.

Revoldus shook his head and put his hands on his hips. "A demon shouldn't WANT to kill, just do what they're meant to... But I guess there's an exception everywhere." He looked at them and smiled. "I guess it would be easier if he could see me." He raised his hand and waved it in front of him, the aura around him dissipating and dissolving. He was fully visible to the demon realm, transferring over from in between.

Revoldus huffed and frowned. "Indeed..." He watched as the dog circled the room, looking for it's victim. Revoldus shook his head and sighed. "So you weren't planning on killing anyone? Isn't that a rule you can't unless it's their time?" He flicked out his forked tongue and kept an eye on the dog.

Revoldus titled his head and folded his arms at his chest tightly. "What do you mean by that? This is a Catholic church, nothing interesting ever happens here. He waved his arm slowly around the room, pointing out the droll and boring atmosphere.

Revoldus shook his head at the sight of the little girl sitting all by herself. For some reason, he didn''t want her to be killed, there was no reason for it. He walked over to her and put his hands on her shoulder. "Go find another one, she's one of mine..." He hissed loudly, and the little girl looked around confused. Revoldus stood between her and the dog, puffing out his chest and sneering.

Revoldus hissed and bared his curved fangs. Poison dripped down from the tips and burned a hole in the floor below. The little girl looked down and noticed the slow burning acid. She lifted her legs in the pew and looked around, scared about what was happening. Revoldus rubbed her shoulder, still invisible to the human realm. "I am Greed... I want what's mine..." He sat on the pew next to the little girl and looked down at her. She shivered at his presence and wrapped her arms around a small teddy bear she clutched to her chest. Revoldus smiled and turned to Death. "I know you owe me nothing, but...could you tell me when her time is Death?..."

Revoldus looked down at the small girl and sighed. HE knew it was wrong to care for humans, but his feelings couldn't be helped. Having a demon heart, his thoughts were mainly of his ture calling, Greed. But God allowed them to have other emotions, hence the turmoil he now had. He decided to follow this girl and keep her safe. "I think her watcher can be disposed of, if you don't mind little dog..." He hissed softly and flicked out his tongue. His trench coat wrapped around the little girl, impairing her vision from seeing her guardian be killed.

"oh fine.... him......." he pointed his nose at the man, fat, small and snoring

Revoldus sat next to the girl, shielding her brain from the horrific death that was going on right beside her. The rest of the congregation watched as the man began to seizure and cough up massive amounts of blood. The little girl sat there confused, wondering why everyone was screaming and looking beside her. She turned and all she could see was her guardian sitting patiently with a bible in his hand. Revoldus cringed at having the man so close to him. He could see the fear in his eyes as his own body shut down and finally stopped moving. HE held the girl close, not wanting her to see any of it.

"happy boy?" he said wrapping it back up and snatching the small puckered husk of a soul and shoved it in his cloak

Revoldus listened to Death, the sighed as he allowed the girl to see again. She sat there stunned, looking at the mangled body of her guardian. She just sat there, mouth closed and hands on her lap. Revoldus looked at her puzzled and soon realized what she was doing. "She doesn't care..." He stood up and watched the girl walk from the body over to the people and talk to them. He stood in amazement at the girls calmness over the situation. He thought about it for a moment then decided in his head to do something. He walked to the back of the church and slowly took human form, making sure no one noticed him. His trench coat wrapped around and made him seem like a well dressed business man. He looked back to where Death and Damian were. He smiled and began walking over to the scene.

Even though he was now part of the human world, he could still hear Death and Damian talking. He smiled and walked over to the little girl. He crouched down and looked at her small inquisitive eyes. "Excuse me little one, but do you have a name?" The little girl looked at him up and down and smiled. "I'm Mary, and you sir have a very weird way about you." She folded her arms and stared at him. He raised an eyebrow, confused about the strange words she used. Most little girls never thought about talking like that. He smiled and held out his hand. "I'm Reynold, and I was wanting to know if you would like to come with me?"

The girl looked around puzzled, as if hearing voices. She shook her head and put her hand in his. "Absolutely sir, and I do believe you are my new guardian." Revoldus nodded and smiled. "Yes I am, and you are a very perceptive little girl." She smiled and put her hands to her side. "Yes I am, and you are very quick to respond." She looked back at the still bleeding corpse of her old guardian. Revoldus frowned and stood up. "Well, there are lot's of things I'm very quick about..." He held out his hand and looked down at her. "Let's go..." She smiled and grabbed his hand, swinging it slowly in the air.

Revoldus laughed and the girl looked up questioningly. "Who are you laughing at?" He smiled and looked down at the small girl. "Oh, just thinking..." She frowned and squeezed his hand. "Where are we going now?" Revoldus smiled and leaned down to her. "Does pizza sound good?" Mary smiled and nodded. They exited the church and started walking down the sidewalk.

Revoldus looked back to see if Death were following them. He knew she didn't have very long, but he wanted her to enjoy as much of it as possible. He didn't understand why, but he liked having the girl with him. He was Greed, but he didn't understand why she had no response to his aura. He looked down a her, to see her staring up at him. "Mister, why do you pretend to be someone else?" He stopped and looked down at her puzzled. "What do you mean little one?" He crouched down to her, and she smiled. "You're not really my new guardian are you?" He frowned and sighed. "In a ways, no. But I intend on keeping you until your time." The little girl giggled and grabbed his neck. "Thank you Mister." He hugged her softly, not understanding the feeling he was having. He closed his eyes and continued to hug her.

Damian poked his head out the palor door, pizza slice in his mouth "What now Death!? he saw the scroll in his hand and the shouldered scythe he knew what that meant and he knew it was trouble "SNAKE MOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Revoldus had barely anytime to react when he saw the truck coming straight for them. He pushed the little girl onto the grass and covered his face. The truck slammed head first into him, crushing his whole body on impact. He stood motionless as the front end of the truck imploded as it hit him. He was sent flying down the street, blood and pieces of flesh flying everywhere. He rolled to a stop on his back near a small fig tree. He lay there, breathing softly as his bloody body fought to stay alive. The little girl ran over to him, crying and laying her head on his shoulder. He smiled, and patted her head. "It's alright... shhh... It'll be alright..." He combed his fingers through her hair as he felt his spirit leaving the human body. He smiled, looking up at the sun as his body died. He left the human realm and stood erect in the world between. "Well that wasn't too bad... Guess it's the third time I've died now..."

"Ha I'm not in trouble!" he sang softly as he patted Greed on the shoulder.... "now this may sound weird coming from me but find another form and get her.... I noticed that she was walking prouder and stronger with you"

He smiled and rubbed the back of his head. "Oh... just teaching the human a valuable lesson... Don't hit Demon's in human form..." He laughed loudly and looked around. He found a small building he could go behind and change. He wrapped his trench coat around him and changed into an elderly man, walking out from behind the samll house. He walked over to the girl and frowned. "Are you alright t]little girl?" Mary looked up at him and frowned. "No.. My friend just died, and I don't know what..." She stared up at him, looking at his eyes closely. She grabbed his face and mushed it around in her hands. "Are you... What are you?" His eyes widened, realizing she knew who he was. He stood up and held out his hand. "Come with me and I'll tell you..." He smiled as she reached out slowly and gripped his fingers.

Revoldus listened to what they were saying and shook his head. He looked back to the little girl and smiled. "So, what do you know so far Mary?" She frowned and put her hand on her chin. "Well, I know that you're not dead anymore, and you're old now... I know that you're eyes are different from everybody elses, and I can hear you thinking..." Revoldus looked at her in amazement, still in shock from the fact that she was speaking so fluently about the situation. Any other person would still be in shock about the accident, but she acted like it didn't happen. They continued walking down thee street to and old diner that had small booths along the walls. He sat with her at a table and smiled. "So, you really want to know?" She smiled and nodded her head.

he slid in through the walls and poked a guy in the back which thus ensued a coughing fit and was forced to leave the facility he smiled at his work and watched him walk out, lunch free in his hand in that time Damian stealing the chair and ordering

He sat next to the girl, watching Death and Damian enter the diner. He shook his head and looked down at her. "So, are you ready?" She smiled and nodded, squeezing his hand. "OK guys, show yourselves to her..." He sat patiently, waiting for them to change realms.

Revoldus was surprised Damian showed his wings. He looked down at the girl, who now looked terrified. She looked up at him with frightened eyes and whispered. "Is he a bat?" Revoldus laughed loudly and shook his head. "No no no... He's a demon, and so am I..." He held out his hand and scales slowly popped up from underneath his skin. "See, we're everywhere in the world, and you're just lucky enough to have found my interest." He smiled and waved a waitress over to his table.

Revoldus sighed, hoping no one in the diner saw. He looked at the little girl, still in awe by what she was seeing. She looked up at him and frowned. "So, you're not old?" Revoldus laughed and shook his head. "I'm actually as old as the Earth, but no... I'm not really as old as I look." He touched his face and pulled down on his cheeks.

She looked between Damian and him, still confused. "Then, why do you look that way if you're not? Why not walk around like you normally look?" She stared up at him as he smiled and rubbed his head. "Well you see... I'm kind of scary when I'm normal, so I don't want people to notice me too much." He looked around to see if anyone was watching. He leaned down to her and smiled. "Want to see what I really look like?" She smiled and nodded.

"is that wise?" he said taking a coffee pot and drinking a cup of it and pouring some for Damian

"Thanks.... just find a body and spazz him so the girl see's ya Death, she'll behave better when ya take her in a week" he said smiling

Revoldus waved his hand and smiled. "It's alright, he doesn't have to, she understands now." He looked down at her as his appearance began to change. His clothes darkened and his face thinned out and became young again. He smiled when she looked at him in awe. "There, you see? I'm not an old man after all now am I?" She shook her head, smiling as she hugged him. "So, are you here to save me?" Revoldus sat in shock by her question. He looked at Death with sad eyes, hoping he would say she didn't have to die.

The little girl sat blankly, looking up at Revoldus. He looked at Damian and shook his head. "I don't think so, and it's better that she doesn't..." He looked down at her and smiled. "Death is also here, but he doesn't show himself very often in the Real World." She nodded and hugged his waist. "So what do we do now? Are you gonna take care of me now?" Revoldus sat motionless, not knowing what to say. He was Greed, but he had no desire of himslef to posses anything, let alone a child. He put his arms around her slowly and smiled. "I suppose so..."
