We know the plot, but I'll post it here just to be safe

It was raining, which it hadn't done in a few weeks. A guy was making his way to his best friends house, who was a female and who he also been in love with since he was 12 and she 11. As he arrived to knock on the door, he heard screaming and a voice yell at someone else, telling them they were worthless. He quickly dashed inside to see his fiend on the ground, shaking and crying while her father kicked her in the stomach. He peeled her father off of her and picked his friend up, carrying her out of the house and to his house.
He wonders why her father was doing this to her and if wasn't the first time. He wants to protect her, keep her close so she won't get hurt again, but will she let him close?

Short Bio: when described in the intro paragrah, he was on his way to tell Kristina that he got accepted into the college he wanted to be in. He likes music and he plays guitar. He's saving up money for an acoustic guitar (though he has an electric one) and one of his main reasons is to impress Kristina. His crush on her is not an obsession, otherwise they wouldn't be best friends, but still, he likes her a lot.

Kristina let out a scream when she felt her father grab her hair and toss her to the ground. It hurt so much.

Drew was on his way to his best friend's house. he wanted to tell her the good, no, great news.

"Dad, please stop!" Kristina yelled before he dropped her to the ground.

He was walking with his umbrella up when he heard screaming. It came from Kristina's house. "Kristina?" he dropped the umbrella, put the envelope in his pocket and ran towards her house which was not far off.

She screamed again as he kicked her in the stomach. She tried to stand up, but her father pushed her back down.
