"Rotting Links"
Kissing sand,
Grains and dust
clog my throat.
Memories of a false future
heralded by the silence
of a prisoner,
shut away in a room
with slideshows for failures
and shadowplays of paperchains.
Forgotten sand,
the sole companion
of these parted lips.
