If there was a place
Where all your worries would just go away
And you were free to do anything as you please
Would you go?
If you could explore, at anytime,
That wondrous place,
Even for just a few minutes
Would you do it?
If you were able to leave
Everything behind
To go to that place
Would it be worth it?
If you were to leave,
To explore that place freely,
Out of your own curiosity
Would you leave your loved ones behind?
If you came across that place
Among the heavens,
That curious place
Would you stay?
If you were to stay
In that beautiful,
Wonderful paradise
Would you ask any questions?
If you were unable to leave
That lovely,
Captivating place
Would you forget?
If you were to unwillingly stay longer
In that beautiful paradise
You now live in
Would you try to find a new lover?
If you found someone,
Someone willing
To give you their heart
Would you give them yours?
If you were to give up your heart
To forget everything
You had once loved before
Would you ever remember?
If you were given the chance
To return to your old life,
Though you do not remember it
Would you return?
If you were to return
To the old life,
To regain all you memories
Would you try returning to the paradise?
If you ever found out
What the paradise
Really was
What would it be?
If you were to have dreamt of it all,
The paradise,
Everything
Would it have really been just a dream?
Who is to say the reality isn’t really the dream
And who is to say we aren’t all dreams
In a much more powerful,
More magical mind.
