[Emillianna]

Many mythical creatures, trapped in a building by mortals. They've been locked up for centuries and finally the genterator, holding back all their power, has crashed. The doctors and nurses evacuated and the army was called for all the creatures had been unleashed. Separating into different groups, the creatures all began to fight back, causing mass chaos in the world as they spread and took over. Now it's a fight to see which race, better yet, who is the supreme ruler. One is in control, a lowly demon, an unknown demon. She alone rules over the others, some dispise her, others worship her and obey her. There is one other, almost equal in power, he wishes to destroy her. Now it is a fight between Her side and the Rebellion(His side). Choose wisely.

Briar was created out of silks and scraps. Her spine and bones were composed of string and pearls. Her arms were decorated with symbols her creator thought would protect the user. She was never meant to be alive. Briar's skin is pearly white, soft to the touch. Big, blue eyes that sparkle with the jewels inside. Her body is slender, long legs and delicate arms, when she became possessed she gained full use of her body.

Her hair changes colors regularly, depending on her mood, through out the day.

Personality:
Briar tends to be a bit stand off ish. She doesn't do well with new people, tending to get frightened. The puppet has a fierce temper and a wicked sense of humor. Like anything with a humanesque soul, her moods change swiftly, sometimes with out warning. The creature that possessed her has a devious side, enjoying playing tricks on people, using her sexuality to get what she wants.

Briar has the powers her demon has. Though she was created so long ago, she was possessed only recently, and even she doesn't know what all she can do.

Sitting by an old broken window, her eyes peered out across the dark deserted land. Once a beautiful place, now a place contaminated by hate and the thick smell of blood. It was only them now, Him and Her. She knew it would happen, a simple fight to the death, who would win? That question remained on her mind all the time, she never doubted her power before, why was she doing it now? She merely shrugged the thought and let out a soft sigh as she turned around. It was about to begin, the biggeset war in the world. Now.

Raven sat beneath the window. "Shar" She whispared. "You're thinking about the war again aren't you."

[Nickoli]

Things had not been right for some time now. Though she knew so little of the world, the frail doll knew that the end, for someone, was near. Since her creation, the only being she felt safe near was Dane; though she doubted he actually cared of her existence. Knowing practically nothing of the demon that possessed her, she had figured the strongest demon would be the best to teach her. That is how she found herself 'second in command' to him. That is how she found herself in his room.

Slender legs, once made of silk and satan, sprawled themselves across his floor, her back pressed against the wall opposite the door. Eyes made of fiery sapphires blinked through the gloom. With no light in the room, she could still see the outlines of everything in the room. It was little to no comfort to the doll. Folding pearly white arms across her large chest, the doll let out a low breath she didn't really need.

Blinking fast, her bright orbs surrounded by heavy black makeup, she tried to make out if there was anyone in the hall. Though the door was closed, she could hear movement. Or so she though. She could just be stressed. Slowly, she got to her feet, jerky movements as though someone had knotted the marionette's strings. But she was simply still getting used to moving on her own.

She turned to the window, but didn't push the curtian aside. Insdead, she closed her eyes, pressing her forehead against the fabric. The white dress she had found almost glowed in the low light, the black corset sinching her small frame at the waist, showing off her figure. Black hair fell to her hips, messy and wild. She had changed it again the previous morning and hadn't brushed it since.

This was regular for Briar (http://th03.deviantart.com/fs19/300W/f/2007/295/d/5/Pretty_like_death_by_Countess_Grotesque.jpg), the changes in appearance as well as where to find her. It was as though the possessed doll were terrified to be alone, and now that she was, she didn't know what to do.

Dane was quiet in the hall, but it seemed like she knew he was there.

He leaned against the doorframe of the main hall, shadows around him, covering the upper half of his body. He watched Briar there, he liked to watch her. She was so fragile looking, her skin seemed like porcelain. Was it? He'd never touched her.
His head tilted to one side as he watched her movements. But how misleading she was, with her delicate shape. How dangerous. He didn't love her, didn't even care for her, really, but she was quite mesmerizing. She would be to anyone.

And this is why she had his favor. Why she was second.

Briar blinked slowly, not opening her eyes again. She could feel him now. She didn't know how, or why. He was silent, as always. He moved with a liquid grace that was so inhuman it was fascinating to her. Yet she knew he was there, as though some hot air movement brushed against the hairs on the back of her neck. Pushing her forehead hard against the glass, screwing her eyes shut, she let her lips part.

"Hello, Dane." she said. Her voice was as delicate as her body, gentle as wind-chimes in the spring breeze, musical and quiet. Briar planted her hands on either side of her head, palms to the curtain, and balled her hands into fists, gathering the material together in her delicate grip. She stood there for a moment, holding that position.

She let go of the cloth, turning slowly to face the demon now before her. Wide blue eyes locked on him, fear and anger and anticipation lacing them. Fear of the war ahead, of losing, of what she would see, of what she had seen. Fear of what she was. Fear of what she could become. Anger that this is what it had come to. Anticipation of what she could become.

She slowly turned to Raven. "No...Im not" her voice had no emotion. She didn't have anything to worry about, well that's what she told herself anyways.

He leaned off of the wall, and crossed to where she was. She was his secret weapon. A grin flickered on his face for a moment.
"You should try and relax you know...if you're scared. Try and build up your confidence by practiceing if you need."

Raven flexed her fingers. Shar was like a sister to her. She had taken her in when she was young and tought her how to fight. Now she killed without a second thought and if she was given the chance she was going to kill him. She knew her target, and even though it killed her to do this to Shar she knew the war had to start. The war she knew was going to come. She pulled her fingers through her hair. The only thing she regreated about the war was how beautiful Dane was. She had seen him only once without knowing that it was him. But whenever she thought about him something happened. She wouldn't think of fighting or even living for that matter. She only thought about that man. That man that she had learned to hate so much. That man that, rumor had it, destroyed everything she knew. Her friends, her family, her life. She shook her head. Clearing her mind. She looked into space as she spook.
"Then why are you just stairing out the window like that? It's not like you to do that. Not like the way you are."
She prayed that Shar didn't know the things she thought of. She told Shar everything, but her thoughts about that damned man were ones she kept to herself.

"Hn." She grunted in response. She had a feeling about Raven, something was different. Her gaze slowly drifted to Raven who had just run her fingers through her hair. "And you...why have you been becoming so distant lately?" She asked as she walked toward the girl. Using her forefinger and middle finger, she tapped Raven's forehead. "Is there something in there that you don't want me to see?" She whispered faintly as she passed her.

"Indeed, but...there's something there..You don't want me to see" She couldn't help but smile darkly. It was fun playing mind games with people. "I don't want you going anywhere today or the next day, we need to discuss out plan to wipe out that annoying guy" she told her.

"BUT SHAR I HAVE TO GO OUT!!! You know how I feel about this house. Shar please I'm not hiding anything from you there is nothing there that I don't want you to see. I want you to see it all. Please don't do this to me."

"No leaving.." Sharlayne's voice was low and seemingly hostile. Her eyes darkened and she glared slightly at Raven.

Raven turned her head away. Her fist clentched as she turned and ran from Shar. When she got to her room she slamed her door and leaned against it. She noticed that the sun was at the horizon. She ran to her bed side table and fumbled for a candle. She lit it quickly, then set on her bed as her room got dimmer. She hated being inside after dark. She guessed she had that man to blam for her pain. Considering her family had been killed after dark. In this very house.

Sharlayne watched Raven run. 'It doesn't matter how far you go...those memories will forever stay with you..' She reminded Raven in her head, Shar's voice was only a faint whisper. For some odd reason she loved to torture people.

Raven covered her head and slowly began to rock herself on her bed. She hated Shar did that to her. When she wasn't in the house after dark she was just fine. The Raven that everyone knew and loved. She even talked more then normal. But when Shar locked her in here she wasn't Raven at all. She didn't say a word. She didn't move. She didn't even breath. She was just the shell of a girl. She could even hear the scream of her parents. Her sister, her brothers. The door busting open and Shar scooping her up. Raven screamed for Shar to leave her there, but Shar just ignored her please. The please of a child never went anywhere. Now Raven laid there in the same possition she had all those years ago. Blood red tears falling from her eyes.

Mitsu sat in the living room staring at the wall blankly, deciding whether or not she should go outside and look at the stars. When she decided she would she thought about the war that was coming. 'I should probably try to keep focused...' she then sat back down.

Dane's eyes were trained on the clouds that moved across the landscape outside. They were dark clouds. They were always dark now. The sky was permanently stained a deep red color, especially at night, when it hung over the wasted earth like some morbid painting.
And he took a second before he answered. "Tense, I've got to be...with everything on the line. But it doesn't matter what I am or you are. You've got to force yourself to keep calm, and if you can't- fake it. Because they need to think you are."

Raven didn't move from her spot on the bed, but for some reason her mind wondered to the bastard of a man. Had he not attacked her family that night none of this would be happening. She wouldn't know about the war. Shar wouldn't be using her home as a headquarters, and she would be laughing and joking with her older brothers. Getting hair and make up advise from her mother. Talking of marriage with her father. And trying to decide if Billy Nash or Eevan Mains would make a better husband with her sisters. Margret was already married and was expecting a child. Bridgett was engaged. Helen was not so secretly dating a man twice her age named Ragger Hamins. Raven was the youngest of all the childrian. Margret and Kyle were both in their twenties and twins. Then there was John, then Bridgett, Helen next then Matthew followed by Raven. Matthew was only nine months older then Raven, and had been killed fetching Kyle's gun. Margret had married a man by the name of James Donolly and the baby was due in five months.
"Oh damn him," she whispered to herself now. "Oh damn him to hell."
The war was already raging in her heart. Ready to burst free and soak what use to be her father's tabbako fields in the rich thickness of that man's blood.

Mitsu stood up again and paced around the room. She was feeling quite restless now.
"I want to go outside and look at the stars." She said aloud but then thought about what the sky looked like now a days and sighed.
She looked around the room for something to do and sighed again, plopping down on the couch. Her mind kept going back to going outside but wasn't sure if she was aloud to.
'I'm trying to be good. I'm trying to be good.' She kept telling herself.

Raven could hear Mitsu walking around down stairs. Even could hear her talking to herself. Trying to decide if she was going to go outside or not. Raven couldn't stand staying in this place any longer and she knew that Shar was going to kill her for this but she didn't care. Slowly and silently she got up and moved over to her window. She opened it up and jumped out. She didn't know where she was going and she didn't care all she knew was she had to run as fast as she could.

Role: Dane's personal guard. Also leader of the spy network, he gives Dane daily reports about the state of the war. Nighthe would like nothing better than to be the one to kill Sharlayne and place Dane as head of the world.

Personality: As loyal as a hound and unrelenting as a dragon, Nighthe, once given a command, only stops under 1 of 3 conditions. 1)he has completed the task given him. 2)the giver, and only the giver, of the command tells him to stop. 3)he dies trying. He would even willingly end his own life if it would benefit the rebellion
Other: Nighthe's strong points would be his physical strength and his stealth. His weak points would be his intellect and his speed.

Nighthe had just returned to the main hall from receiving the report from the spy network. He moved unusually stealthy for his size and scales, but still not as stealthy as Dane. As he entered the main hall, he gave his signature single knock on the wall to announce his presence. At this he waited to be addressed by either Dane or Briar, these where the only ones he would report to.

Mitsu heard the footsteps after Raven landed lightly on the ground. "Well if she's going outside....why can't I?" She asked herself, "Yeah, lets go with that logic." She then went out into the night. 'should I follow Raven?' she thought. She then started walking in the direction Raven had taken before she had even made the decision to.

He nodded respectfully to Nighthe.
"Yes, go ahead Nighthe." He said, taking a seat on the windowsill near Blair.

Nighthe bowed and said,"My Lord, My Lady, the spies report still no sign of human life and it is safe to assume by this point that they are all but extinguished. Furthermore, there are reports that the other side is gaining in numbers more rapidly than our initial estimates. It is the majority opinion of the spies that a stealth op to assassinate key leaders would slow this growth while increasing support to our side. If you should wish to act on this I have already assembled a team to execute their recruitment officers."

Raven ran through the night as fast as her vampirian speed would let her. She really wasn't paying attention to where she was going. She just knew that she had to get off the land that use to belong to her family, as well as the land that this war was going to take place at. She just kept running. Not even relizing that she had ran right into the rebelion's land.

All of a sudden before Dane could answer, a spy ran in and whispered something into Nighthe's ear. Then just as quickly as he appeared he disappeared again. "My Lord, we've just received information that one of their top leaders has just entered our territory and is heading this way. We think its Raven but no confirmation has been made." Nighthe then looked up at Dane and Briar. "If it is Raven, I might need to take care of her personally. I await your command."

Dane's brow knitted together. He thought of the possible reasons she may have just ran beyond enemy lines...
she wouldn't just loose track of where she was? Either she was banished, for some reason, or had rebelled. Or maybe she had just lost her way. At any rate, killing her right now wouldn't do them any good. She had valueable information.

"I think that would be the best thing for us." He replies. "Just, try not to kill her yet. If she's who we think, we need her here."

"Yes My Lord." Nighthe said getting up to track Raven. After he set out, he gathered a squad to trap her. This would not be an easy task to catch a vampire of her caliber. They decided to set up a series of traps designed to snare her or knock her unconscious. Each maned for better timing and accuracy than an automatic trap. Nighthe decided that he would be the fail safe after the traps, just in case. After the traps were set all there was left to do was wait, and Nighthe hated waiting.

Raven ran on but there was something not right. She could sense something was wrong which made her run fast. Little did she know that the danger was waiting for her uphead. She lost her footing & hit the ground hard. She winced and bit her lip not willing to scream. She looked down at her ankle. No visable damage, but she relized that she couldn't move. Had she fallen into a trap? Impossible! She was still within her land...wasn't she? She did everything she could to actually move. -Come on. Come on.- She thought to herself. It was like her body wasn't responding. This wasn't good.

Mitsu continued to follow Raven without any conscious knowledge of it. When Raven fell she wasn't very far behind and could see the girl was hurt. It was then that she realized what she'd been doing and where they were. 'crap.' she thought. 'oh well, I'm already here and I know I'm probably screwed anyway. I might as well help her out.' She closed the distance between her and Raven and stood before her. "Do you need some help Raven?" She asked, hoping she wasn't going ot get into too much trouble for following her.

By the time Mitsu reached Raven, Nighthe was already on the horrizon closing fast. Nighthe may be slow on the ground but when he flies he can reach up to 200 mph. The only flaw is that at that speed he can't turn. At Nighthe's current speed Mitsu had only about 90 sec to help Raven before he arrived.

Raven looked up and could see her worst nightmare flying straight towards them. For only a second panic took ove but she snaped out of it fast. "No Mitsu, get out of here now. Go hurry. Don't worry about me!"

Nighthe, now within 1 min of reaching Raven, noticed Mitsu and grew furious. Why hadn't his spies informed him that she was also headed strait into their territory as well. "No matter," he thought to himself,"I'll just bring them both in." Nighthe's dragon half gave him a sense of arrogance of being unbeatable in combat.

Mitsu looked up and saw what Raven was flipping out about, "Well for one thing I would be dead if I left you in there hands and for another its too late. I'd be caught anyway if I left." She told her. 'all this just because I wanted to go outside.' she thought.

"MITSU YOU HAVE TIME TO MAKE NOW GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!" She hated yelling at Mitsu like that but she had no chance. She wasn't about to let one of her friends get hurt because of how stupid she was. There was just a little bit of time for Mitsu to get away from Nighthe if she was to leave right that second. Raven could even think up away to creat a devirson so Mitsu could get away safely. "Just go. I'll be alright."

As Raven and Mitsu argued, Nighthe kept closing the distance. Only 30 sec until he would have them both in his grasp. "Not running, heh, I hoped you wouldn't. This would have been too easy if you had. Get prepared for the fight of your life." Nighthe thought to himself with a smirk on his face. He was always looking for a challenge in his spare time, but this was one that was just handed to him on a silver platter.

[Jii]

Mitsu shook her head, "I'm not leaving. You know I'd be dead if I left you, and besides two is better than one in a fight." Jii said knowing perfectly well that they were in trouble, "And besides, I like danger." She stood her ground and was determined to stay. Her expression showed that she wasn't going to give in and run away like Raven wanted her to.

Nighthe was close enough now that he could see Mitsu's determined expression. He sped up to full speed and closed fast. At the last 5 seconds he closed his wings and began to spin. 5...4...3...2...1...Nighthe delivered a punch at 200 mph strait to Mitsu's stomach, throwing her tumbling back, though his own landing wasn't any more graceful. Nighthe then stood up as if he was just taking a nap, unscratched and unfazed by the 50 ft slide, and looked to see if that blow knocked Mitsu unconscious or not.

"NO!!" Raven screamed. She still couldn't move and she knew that Mitsu was no match for Nighthe. She herself was no match towards him. And there wasn't much she could do when she was stuck to the ground. -Great. What kind of friend are you, Raven. You can't even protect the ones you love.- She thought to herself.

Mitsu, having crashed through a few trees, stood up and shook herself off. Her stomach hurt, bad, but she refused to let her attacker know that. She was expressionless and kept it that way. She walked towards Nighthe and Raven, even though it pained her, as though she were perfectly fine. She knew she was no match for Nighthe but was going to try and put up a fight before she died. She refused to give up. 'This is guaranteed to end badly for me' she thought and prepared herself for the hurt to come and the fight of her life.

Nighthe casually walked back towards Raven, ignoring the fact that Mitsu got up from that blow. "I'm impressed, but not surprised. Tell me, how much does it hurt with each step? Can you even through a punch? If you continue you're likely to lose your life from the effort." Nighthe taunted Mitsu as he was walking. "Give up now and I'll guarantee that you'll live through the night at least."

Dane's eyes were trained on the clouds that moved across the landscape outside. They were dark clouds. They were always dark now. The sky was permanently stained a deep red color, especially at night, when it hung over the wasted earth like some morbid painting.
And he took a second before he answered. "Tense, I've got to be...with everything on the line. But it doesn't matter what I am or you are. You've got to force yourself to keep calm, and if you can't- fake it. Because they need to think you are."

Briar's icy blue eyes narrowed at the demon. It wasn't that she couldn't be strong. It was that no one thought she was. A breath escaped her pale lips and she nodded once, her long black curls falling around her thin shoulders. Straightening her back that was once made of string and pearls, the possessed puppet squared her shoulders. "I can do that better than anyone here," she replied, her voice warm and soft as velvet, hot and dangerous as poison. She strode forward, small bare feet silent on the wood floor, as she gently brushed past Dane. "Something's going on. I can taste it in the air. I'm going to find out what it is," she said, moving smoothly past the man and into the hall.

Mitsu reclaimed every bit of composure. Her ribs were surely broken but had become somewhat numb now. She started laughing hysterically, not really knowing why. "I'd rather die than give up." She said with a slight smirk and went to attack Nighthe. Even though she was in pain, through experience, she'd learned to fight as well as she could if she was perfectly fine, if not just barely under. She ignored any pain that came to her completely.

Nighthe turned and folded his wings in front of himself, creating a shield of ice and bone. Mitsu's attack was surprisingly stronger than he expected, though. "So, you do still have some fight left in you. Very well, LET ME SNUFF IT OUT THEN!" Nighthe said as hit Mitsu with his wings while he was unfolding them, more for show than for power. Nighthe's eyes started to fade into a solid, icy blue. This only happened when he became extremely focused or furious.

"Please stop it leave her alone and I'll do anything you want me too." Raven could kill herself for what she just said, but if it kept Mitsu alive she would keep saying anything that would take Nighthe's focus off of Mitsu and make him focus on her. MITSU IF YOU CAN HEAR MY THOUGHTS, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE. HE will KILL YOU. PLEASE JUST GO. I'LL BE FINE.

Mitsu was thrown back but luckily she had caught herself and landed on her feet. She glared at Nighthe and then heard Raven's thoughts. She sighed. 'Alright. Fine. But I'm telling Sharlayne and getting you help asap.' She thought back to Raven and then took off to go back to the house, hating that she was leaving Raven there.

Raven smiled then looked at Nighthe. Her eyes being the only part of her body that could move. NO PLEASE DON'T TELL SHAR. I'LL BE HOME SOON. I PROMISE JUST DON'T TELL HER. Her words weren't 100% ture and she knew they weren't, but she had no other way to reassure Mitsu she was going to be fine. All though as she looked up at Nighthe, she knew even that was going to be a lie.

Nighthe's eyes unfogged and looked down at Raven. "You're lucky my orders were to keep you alive." Nighthe inhaled deeply then let out a slow chilling breath onto Raven, slowly numbing her senses. First her sense of touch, followed by smell, taste, and hearing, then finally her sight blurred until everything was black. Nighthe's ice breath had put her into a deep sleep as if she had nearly froze to death. He then picked her up and flew off towards the Resistance HQ. When he arrived, he made sure to properly restrain Raven so she couldn't escape when she woke up. "Dane is probably going to be angry at me for letting Mitsu get away." He thought to himself. "But none the less, I finished the mission and need to report in." Nighthe walked down the hall and gave his signature knock.

'But I have to tell Shar! I know as well as you do that this is way too dangerous to just leave her out of it!' Mitsu thought to Raven as she was running. She wanted to help Raven. She didn't know why Raven didn't want her to tell Shar but she did know that if she didn't get help soon something bad was bound to happen. So she ran still deep in thought on whether or not to actually tell Shar or not.

Raven sat almost lifeless against the chair Nighthe had tied her to, but her senses were starting to sharpen. First she could smell things. Thought she could even hear someone talking. She could feel the chains as well as the chair. Slowly and finally she opened her eyes. She was in a room she had never seen before. It was like she was in another time. She felt just the slightest twinge of fear but quickly got ride of it as she scanned the room. Her hair getting in her face. There was nothing to do now but sit and wait.

(I think all of the rebellion people except me have quit. Power House hasn't even been on in forever according to his profile. I think we either need to recruit somone to play his part or have me play both. What do you think?)

Dane looked up when he heard the knock, and knew who it was without asking.
"Enter." He said, knowing Nighthe had completed his mission.

I am terribly sorry for not posting in here sooner. I have been incredibly busy the past few weeks.I do apologize.For give me please. If someone would be so kind to fill me in i shall post.

Nighthe walked in slowly and bowed. "My lord, Raven is in our custody down in the lower quarters. There was only a slight complication during the mission: Mitsu somehow slipped through our spy network and tried to assist Raven. The fact that she tried to help is not a concern, what is a concern is that she was undetected by the spies."

Briar stepped closer to the wall, placing more space between herself and Nighthe. She could feel his power against her fine flesh like ice-fire. She narrowed her blue sapphires at the man. She knew Dane trusted him, this Nighthe was one of the more powerful here. Yet she felt invisible to him. There, with her spine pressed against the doorframe, she felt as such. Though there wasn't so much wrong with that. The possessed doll preferred to watch, to observe.

Dane nodded. If his spies weren't getting the job done...maybe it was time to send someone else in, someone more skilled.
He glanced sideways at Briar. She seemed uncomfortable...was it Nighthe? Well, he could be intimidating, Dane thought.

He focused again. "I think we should send in another spy. Someone they could trust, that they wouldn't suspect." He could think of only one. But Briar was still young, or new to this world, at least, and he didn't exactly like the idea of putting her in a situation alone so soon.

"I don't mean to interrupt but, what shall we do with Raven. It seems to me that she wasn't fully 'herself' when she entered our borders. She seemed distraught. We could use this to our advantage, no need for torture if she'll already talk." Nighthe stood up and noticed that Briar was shying away from him. "I'm sorry my lady, I must still have the air of battle around me. You know that I would never harm either of you though. I give you my word." Nighthe said trying to reassure her.

Briar gently bowed her head, manners coming through when she didn't know what else to say. Her nearly glowing eyes remained locked on the man, though she addressed Dane. "That sounds only best." She tore her eyes away, turning to the demon. Her spine went ridged as she set her jaw. Trying to read him was something she had always worked at. The way his words fell from his lips...his body language. He was talking about her. Turning her eyes back to Nighthe, she straightened her slender body. "I'll do it," she offered.

Raven shivered. She had to get out of here some how some way. But that didn't really look like a possibility at this point. She just set there. There was nothing she could do. She was traped with no way out like a bird with clipped wings.
