Lyle is calm and charming. He's always able to keep his cool in tough situations and can talk his way out of almost anything. His charm helps him gain people's trust easily, and this had made him a trustworthy person.
Small Bio:
Lyle found out that he had special powers when he was five. He's always kept them from his parents and the people around him for fear they'd think he was a freak. He always practiced using his power in secret so nobody would know. Now that he's moved out and lives on his own, it's a bit easier for him to use his powers without people noticing.

He can control and create fire to use as he wishes.

Valerie lived in a normal family with her being the exception. Only her younger brother knew about her power when he saw her use it one day. He never told though, even after she moved out.

Personality: Shannon is a nice and hyper kind of girl. Shes always breaking the rules and is a wild type of person. She is a really sensitive person and is offended easily. It takes alot to get her mad though, but she is nice and worry-some.
Small Bio: Shannon found out about her powers when she was playing around in a lake by herself. Her parents lived behind a lake for quite some time, during that time Shannon would sneak out and practice to control and use her powers whenever she wished. Shannon parents never found out, and it felt good to move out of their house so she didn't have to hide it as much.
Powers: She can control and create water to use as he wishes. (Also includes ice.)

Personality: Jesse is often quiet and shy. He doesn't speak much unless he needs to. He won't really open up to someone, unless hes really close to them. Once you get to know Jesse, you'll really like him. Hes nice, kind, but he also has a mean side to him.
Small Bio: Jesse never said much when he was a kid, and he still doesn't, so it wasn't hard to keep the secret about him discovering his powers. He figured them out when he was age 10, and practiced using them ever since. His parents were mostly gone during the day, so he learned to control them during that time.
Powers: He can control and create earth to use as he wishes. (Doesn't make sense, but he can control the 'Earth' stuff. Make sense? >.<; )

Valerie watched the sidewalk as she walked, nervously biting the inside of her lip. Recently she'd always had the feeling that someone was watching her, but she always ignored it and just brushed the feeling off. Little did she know, someone actually was watching her and following not too far behind her.

Lyle drew circles with his finger along the edge of the bench. He whistled quietly, watching all the people who walked by him. The slight breeze ruffled his hair and the newspaper of the man who sat at a table across the street, occasionally glancing up at Lyle to make sure he was still there.

Shannon lived over at a lake, she had always made sure she lived near a lake or a stream.. anything. She was sitting on a large rock, tossing pebbles into the lake. As a cold breeze whipped her face she had just realized that there has been a guy that had been walking back and forth. He occasionally looked at Shannon, with narrowed eyes. It freaked Shannon out, and she wondered why he was there.

Jesse was inside StarBucks, drinking his coffee all by himself. There was a few people there, but they were sitting far away from him. There was this one particular person, sitting not to far away from them. It was as if the man had nothing better to do then stare at Jesse, while drinking his empty coffee cup. Jesse shrugged and looked away, knowing something bad was gonna happen soon.

Valerie had finally calmed down when a loud snapping sound went off behind her. Looking up, she saw the telephone wobble before falling towards the ground where she stood. She quickly dodged out of the way but was unable to miss one of the electrical wires that flung towards her. This would've killed any normal person but her skin merely absorbed the sparks of electricity.

Lyle stood up from his bench to leave but was stopped by a man who asked for a light for his cigarette. Lyle apologized explaining that he didn't have one. The man listened as he took out his own lighter which confused Lyle. He flipped open the top and ignited it, the small flame that was emitted jumping towards Lyle eagerly causing a few passerby to stand and stare.

Shannon stood up to leave, she was kind of worried and scared. She wasn't sure why such a weird stranger kept passing by, stareing at her. She then felt someone push her, making her fall into the water. Shannon gave a little yell, falling into the cold, deep water. The man had a stick or an object in his hand, making her stay in the water to drown unless she did something.

Jesse threw his cup into the trash-can and walked out the door. He took a sigh and headed for his car. The place was practically deserted. His car was a few feet away, before he reached it he heard honking from a cars horns. He turned to see the noise, and it was a speeding car coming at him. The stranger inside it.

Valerie shook her head to clear it, aware that the people around her were staring in shock and horror. Before she could run, someone struck her from behind causing her to stumble to her knees. She looked up as a man charged her. Acting on instinct, she raised her hand and a silvery line of electricity wrapped around the man, but it was only enough to leave him unconcious. She quickly scrambled to her feet and ran towards home, knowing that someone was still following her.

Lyle closed his hand, the flame from the lighter going out as well. The man smiled evilly as Lyle backed away. He turned to ran but there was another man blocking his escape. The man grabbed him by the shoulders, holding him in place. Lyle struggled as the other man walked forward and hit him in the stomach. His temper flared, literally, as he fastened his hands on the man in front of him, catching his captives arms on fire as his hands erupted in flames. This gave him just the chance he needed to escape.

Shannon managed to make a huge wave hit the man trying to drown her. She swam away and was able to get to the edge. She was soaking wet, and the man that tried drowning her was coughing out of control, and covereing his eyes. Shannon was gasping for breath, she then raced towards her house, knowing that there was always another person. Which made her wonder if there was someone else.

Jesse put up a rock wall, to have to car crash into before he got hit. The car was going so fast that it busted through the wall, hitting Jesse and making him fly backwards. He made himself land onto soft grass, scared to death. He then got up and began to head for his car, he needed to escape. The car was pretty damanged, that gave him an advantage.

Valerie knew she couldn't actually stay at her house, but she needed money and clothes. She would head to the train station and take the first train far away from here. As she rounded the corner to her house, she was tackled to the ground. Another man had her pinned to the ground. Her skin tingled as she sent shocks from her body to his.

Lyle pushed the men away from him running in the opposite direction, not exactly sure where he was going. He knew he couldn't go back to his house since they probably knew where he lived. He had to get out of town and quickly before anything else happened.

Thankfully, the man that had once watched her was helping the man that wasn't feeling well. Shannon hadn't hurt him to bad, as a matter of fact.. she didn't think she hurt him ENOUGH. Shannon rolled her eyes and ran inside her house, the man was probably sensitive. She ran to her room, grabbed her back-pack and took piles of clothes and stuffed them into it. Shannon then grabbed money and was running out the door.

Once Jesse reached his car, one guy stopped him by putting him in a head-lock. Jesse grunted has he tried to struggle free, knowing that he had to do it.. he made the ground pop up and hit the man in the face. Jesse then got into his car, and was out of there extremly fast. Not sure where he was going, but he knew he wasn't safe around here anymore.

The man went unconcious as Valerie pushed him off of her. She sprinted quickly into her house, heading straight for her room and grabbing a small pack that she stuffed clothes and a wad of cash in. She snatched her car keys from her coffee table and got in her car, pulling out of the garage and speeding down the street back towards town, her destination the train station.

Lyle decided to take a quick trip by his house to grab clothes and cash. He ran into one more person who he scorched to ashes quickly. Once home he packed some clothes and grabbed whatever money he could find before heading back out the door. His car sat out front and he hastily got in and drove off.

Shannon was panting for air by the time she was out the door. She didn't have time to pull her car out of the garage and make it away in time, so she decided she could run as fast as she could, which was fast. Shannon didn't care about running out of breath or anything, just as long as she could get away as soon as possible. She also wasn't sure where she was heading exactly, anywhere away from there was great. Thankfully, Shannon was to far ahead, and it would take some time for them to catch up.. so she was safe for know.

Jesse knew he didn't have ANY time to head to his house and grab the important things he needed.. which ticked him off. Jesse hoped that once he was settled where he was he could possibly come back and get some things. Yeah, that was his plan. Jesse was know speeding down the road, dodgeing cars and not caring for the changing colors of the traffic lights.

Valerie pulled her car up about a block away from the train station and left the keys in the ignition as she got out. She swifly walked that block to the train station, constantly glancing over her shoulder until she'd gotten inside. She went to the ticket booth and bought the first ticket out to a large city called Wilkshire. She figured that it would be hard for anyone to find her if she was in a huge city. After getting a ticket she headed to wait for the train to arrive.

Lyle spotted the train station and pulled into the parking lot. He quickly got out of his car and headed inside, buying a ticket for Wilkshire. It was the next train to leave and he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

Shannon was gasping for air, she finally wound herself up at the train station, thank god. She ran to the person at the ticket booth. She asked for the next train that was leaveing, which was Wilkshire. Shannon got the ticket, she hadn't heard of Wilkshire before but it didn't matter. She could figure things out once she got there.

A few moments later, Jesse arrived at the train station. He hopped out of his car, running to the ticket booth and buying one. He didn't even bother asking for where he was heading.. but it was Wilkshire. Jesse had lived in Wilkshire with his family before, but didn't care to much of it. Impatiently, he waited for the train to arrive.

Valerie found an open bench to sit on as she waited for the train. She tapped her fingers against her leg anxiously, glancing around every moment or so, just waiting for something bad to happen. Checking the clock by the train platform, she saw that the train would arrive in about 7 minutes. She hoped that nothing else would happen in the time she had to wait.

Lyle leaned against the wall of the train station, watching the tracks. The train platform wasn't to crowded except for maybe 10 other people that were waiting. About 5 more minutes and he would be on the train and maybe out of harms way.

Finally, Shannon heard the noise of the train coming. She heard the sounds of the train against the tracks. Shannon took a deep breath, she whished the train would stop already so she could get on it. Shannon wished this hadn't have happened. She loved where she lived now, but things happen for a reason. Shannon saw the train coming to a slow stop, that's when she walked in front of the door. Shannon wanted to hop on it and get the heck out of there.

Jesse finally saw the train coming to a stop. He quickly gathered the important things from his car and walked over to the doors, ready to get on. Jesse was glad that the people that were after him possibly got lost in finding him. He tapped his foot impatiently and started fiddling around. He was extremly nervous.

Valerie grabbed her bag from next to her and stood as the train came to a stop. The door in front of her opened and allowed people on after taking a look at their tickets. She quickly handed hers to the man and as soon as he punched the hole in it she was quickly getting on the train and trying to find an empty compartment. Finally at the back of the train she found one and sat down.

Lyle smiled tightly at the man as he handed his ticket back, allowing him to get on the train. He did his best to find a compartment that didn't have anyone in it, but they all seemed to be full. He finally found one with only one girl in it. "Is it alright if I sit here? Everywhere else is full,"he said, smiling slightly.

Adonia looked up at him, deciding that he didn't look like someone who would want to kill her. "Yeah sure,"she said, gesturing for him to sit down.

Shannon handed the man at the door her ticket. He punched a hole in it after examineing it. She smiled at him and took the ticket, aboarding the train. Shannon looked around, found a spot in one of the compartments and sat down. Another person was in it, but he kept his distance. Shannon rested her head on her arm, nervous and probably would be until she was safe and sound in Wilkshire.

Jesse took the hole-punched ticket from the man and aboarded the train. He sat down in a place were two people already where. The comparentment was know full since he sat there, he didn't care though. Jesse was only worried about getting out of there. He took a deep breath and drummed his fingers on his lap, looking at the people on and coming on the train.

Valerie glanced at the other people in her train compartment, making sure they didn't look dangerous and realizing that they all looked a little freaked out. She didn't really dwell on the fact and just figured they were maybe nervous about the train ride or going to a big city such as Wilkshire. She sighed, looking out the window as the last few people boarded the train.

Lyle kept his bags close to him so he wouldn't take up too much room. His gaze stayed locked on what was going on outside, hoping these people didn't think he was weird for looking so freaked out. He did his best to keep himself composed and as normal looking as possible.

Shannon didn't really care to pay attention to those sitting around her. She then did, they all looked extremly nervous and freaked out. Except for the strange girl sitting in betweent the two girls. She didn't think she should make conversation with them because she didn't know them. Shanna took a deep breath, it was quiet since no one spoke.

Jesse looked down at his hands, shaking his leg impatiently. He rememberd/thought of what happened today. He tried pictureing the men's faces in his mind so he could remember what he looked like incase he spotted somone just like him. Jesse looked at the people around him, then back to the ground with a silent sigh.

Valerie let out a sigh of relief as the train blew the whistle and started forward. It would still be about another hour though before she would be safe and sound in Wilkshire. She envied the other people on the train who were going to Wilkshire to just visit and not leave behind the life they'd previously known and start over.

Lyle moved around in his city, getting a little bit more comfortable. He was thankful that the train had started it's trip to Wilkshire and his nerves calmed a bit more. He kept thinking back to what had happened earlier and wondered why this had to happen to him and if anyone else was going through the same thing.

Shannon sat there, feeling really relieved that the train was know moving and was heading away from the danger. Since it was only a few people in the compartment, and no one else was around Shannon wanted to start a conversation. They'd be there for an hour or so, it would hurt, plus she didn't think she could sit alone in the silence for very long. Shannon then spoke, "Uh.. you guys like Wilkshire?" She said, suddenly feeling stupid from the lame question.

Jesse was suprised from the bold question. "Actually.. no.." He admitted. Most people would look at him like he was crazy, what kind of person would go to a place they didn't like. "But uh, gotta go live there for quite some time." He said, not giving off anything other then that. Jesse was cautious, not to stupid to tell someone what or why he was leaveing were he lived right know.

"It's not too bad, I'm not excited to be going though,"Valerie said shrugging, happy that someone broke the silence. Some of the tension went away now that it wasn't as quiet making her feel a little bit better.

"Pretty much the same for me,"Lyle replied quietly, glancing over at the person who'd spoken. He appreciated her attempt to make conversation and was also greatful for it.

Shannon nodded, "I wasn't planning on visitning Wilskshire so suddenly but... I've been there once when I was small.. it was pretty nice." She said smiling. She then looked at everyone, "My names Shannon.. Shannon Moore." Shannon said looking at everyone with a tender smile. They didn't seem to weird.

Jesse nodded at her, "My names Jesse Johnson." He said. He didn't think he should give off his last name so boldly to a person he just met, but they seemed friendly as if they wouldn't do anything reckless. He looked out the window, things were passing by fast, which made him happy and feel as if alot of weight was lifted off his shoulders. But he was disappointed that he couldn't get any clothes or money.

"Valerie Montego,"she said, nodding to the others in her compartment, a half smile on her face. She knew that none of these people knew her and they didn't seem like someone who would want to kill her or anything.

"I'm Lyle Holmes,"he said, giving a small salute to his compartment-mates. He moved in the seat, more comfortable now that things weren't so awkward or tense in the compartment like they were.

Shannon smiled at them. She liked them sofar, they seemed nice. "Nice to meet you guys." She said, feeling much more better that she had started conversation with them, and knew there names. Shannon felt more at ease and atleast it wasn't a silent ride to Wilkshire. "So how are you guys?" She asked them, possibly making her first friends in the new hometown.

Jesse looked at her and nodded, "Same for you. I'm.. uh.." He wanted to say, 'Horrible, bad..' and all the other things that fit into that category. "Good." He managed to say, even though it was a complete lie. Jesse hid it with his charming smile he showed off to everyone.

"I've been better but can't complain,"Valerie said, giving a half-smile to them. She could complain and she should be but she knew better than to say anything out loud about what had happened if she didn't want to sound like a crazy person.

"Doing alright. You,"Lyle asked, nodding towards Shannon. He never really said much to people he'd just met so he was basically acting just like he normally would.

Shannon nodded and gave off a soft smile to them all. "Tired.. but okay.. I suppose." She said, not saying to much that could reveal anything. She kept quiet, not sure what to say anymore. She huffed and tapped her foot impatiently. She really wished they were already at Wilkshire. THEN she'd feel more at ease.

Jesse drummed his finger on his lap again, and he nodded at Shannon. He had a smile on his face to, but it was a forced one. He didn't feel like being happy, or smiling.. he just thought of everything that just occoured. He wanted to go back and get some of his stuff from his house, but now that he thought about it.. it seemed impossible.

"Aren't we all,"Valerie muttered to herself, looking out the window. Her eyes followed over what they passed, flicking back and forth betweent the different objects that were outside. The lights in their compartment flickered slightly when they hit bumps, bothering her slightly.

"Good to hear,"Lyle said, smiling quickly at her. He was getting more and more like his normal self but he wouldn't be completely happy until the train pulled up to the station in Wilkshire.

((Not sure... I've been thinking about that. Any ideas?))

(( See, that's the difficult part. ;x I've been thinking about that and I really haven't come up with anything good. ))

Shannon nodded at him with a smile. As time passed the inner-com came on. 'Stopping at Wilkshire in 3 minutes. Passengers who are stopping at Wilkshire, please gather your things and wait by the doors.' Shannon's smile became brighter as she picked up her things. "Thank goodness." She said under her breath. She then headed for the doors as the train was slowing down.

Jesse jumped up from his chair, with nothing to grab. He walked over and stood behind Shannon, taking in a deep breath. He was thankful and glad that he could feel at ease. He tapped his foot and waited for the train to come to a stop.

Valerie followed Jesse out of the compartment, and waited for the train to slow to a stop. She was surprised when it actually sped up and kept going. The other passengers were confused as well, but now Valerie just felt tense.

Lyle headed out behind them, looking around to see why the train kept going. Nobody came over the intercom which worried him. He looked around for an attendant but noticed one of the men from before searching the compartments.

As the train sped ahead, Shannon almost fell. She was quite suprised, "What's going on?" She whispered, not knowing if she was talking to Valarie, Jesse, Lyle.. or even herself. Her eyes went wide as she saw one of the guys from the lake. The one who tried helping his friend from the water attack. Shannon couldn't believe it.

Jesse stood there, looking around frantically. He hoped things would've gone back to normal. He got to Wilkshire and lived a peaceful life. Yeah, that didn't seem possible because he now saw one of the drives searching each person he passed.

Valerie spotted someone looking similar to the guys who had attacked her later. She pushed pass the people but the door she was in front of was too crowded. She could easily blast out one of these windows but that would require using her power in front of civillians and also jumping from a speeding train.

Lyle searched for possible exits either through windows or doors but there were too many people. He couldn't get to the captain and was sure that they were in unconcious or dead since the train was obviously being controlled by someone trying to get to him.

Shannon was breathing hard, frantically searching for a way out. She wondered how the man could've possibly found her and knew where she was going. Shannon looked everywhere, trying to find an exit. "Ugh!" She said to herself. Shannon then saw that the man was coming closer, looking everywhere for her. The man would soon find her though. Shannon accidently ran into Lyle, "Eh.. sorry.. I need to get out of here." She whispered, not meaning to say such a thing in a nervous voice to Lyle.

Jesse was watching the man with widened eyes. He thought for sure that he was finally safe. He could've easily stopped the train and/or busted open the trains doors with his powers. He didn't want to risk ruining his disguise and people seeing that he could control freaky powers. Jesse sighed and looked down, thinking of what he should do.

Valerie sighed angrily as another man appeared, actually spotting her as she stood where she was. She pushed farther back into the crowd, still looking for an exit and finding none. "I am not dying in this train,"she said, frustrated. She turned to the window behind her and shot a zap of electricity at it, shattering the glass. A few people screamed, not everyone noticing that she did it. She hoisted herself up and looked nervously at the ground speeding passed.

Lyle's head turned quickly over to where he heard the smashing of glass and the screams of people. The girl who had been in the compartment with him before was standing there, the only one who didn't look freaked out. The way she had quickly tried to find an exit and been nervous when the people appeared should've tipped Lyle off earlier that she had powers as well.

Jesse was extremly suprised. He had seen Valerie use electricty to bust open a few windows. He didn't think there was another person in the world that could control powers. Jesse then gathered some of his confidence. He faced the front of train, thrusting his arms out he used his powers to have a large mound of Earth pop-up and stop the train from going any further. Since it was so sudden, it smashed the front view of the train, shattering a few windows. Jesse then faced the door, using more of his powers to open the doors.

Shannon was the most shocked of all. She couldn't believe that the people she was just talking to were exactly the same as her. She then raced over to a door, not sure how she could use her powers in such a place. She was still nervous and frantically trying to get off the train. She then used her powers she gather water and place it onto the door, making it into ice. Shannon then punched the door repeatedly, breaking it finally.

Valerie held on as the train stopped suddenly and helped a few people up who had been knocked to the ground. She pushed through some people to get to a door, easily blowing it off it's hinges. She glanced back at the other people, adjusting her backpack on her shoulder before hopping of the train and onto the tracks.

Lyle saw the two men quickly getting closer to them. He shot a jet of fire at the two men, sending them flying backward into the train. He exited out through one of the opened doors, seeing Valerie already travelling across the tracks and away from the train.

Jesse was out of the doors by now. He was racing off the tracks, and went over to the side. He got to the edge and lifted himself on it. Jesse knew the guys were probably looking out the window, or door, by now.. possibly getting off the train after there suprised faces faded. They would be after him soon, and Jesse couldn't think of anything but, 'Get the hell out of there.' Jesse jumped to his feet and took off running.

Shannon then jumped onto the tracks. She ran over to the edge, hoisting herself up on the concrete. She was still breathing hard, but felt a little at ease since she escaped the train. She then felt a breeze as Jesse rushed passed her into a sprint. Shannon then saw Valerie, and back onto the train was Lyle. She wondered why they were taking off to. Then she remembered, they had powers to. Shannon then took off jogging, clutching her things.

Valerie was far ahead the others, carefully picking her way over the train tracks and to a high fence leading to the highway. She still had some distance between her and the fence, but she was no pretty far from the train. She hoped the others had gotten safely off the train but she didn't want to look back to see, afraid that all she would see was those men chasing after her.

Lyle watched as Jesse ran passed him and saw Valerie not far in front of him. He kept his pace at a brisk walk, wanting to get as far from the train as possible but not wanting to run and waste engery. He glanced over at Shannon who was walking a little ways away from him. He wanted to say something but wasn't sure what to say just yet.

Jesse turned the corner, but stopped. He wasn't breathing hard, in fact he was just getting started. Running was his specialty so it would take awhile before he gave up on running. He glanced back to see the man who was after him getting off the train. Jesse cursed to himself and jogged around the corner. He then stopped jogging and began fast-walking. He knew the man wasn't quite sure where he headed so he knew he was safe for now.

Shannon turned back around. Valerie was hoping over a fence, Lyle was close behind her, and Jesse had just disappeared around a corner. Shannon wasn't sure where to go until she saw up ahead, a tunnel. She knew she could travel through the dark tunnel and escape from the men, it's not like they could see in the dark. She couldn't either, but her powers would come in handy somehow. Shannon then headed for the tunnel, it possibly lead somewhere out of the train station.. which is what she needed.

Valerie threw her backpack over the fence first before beginning her way up it. She glanced back to see a man from the train pointing her out to another man and the two were soon heading for her. She quickly climbed the rest of the fence, dropping over the side as the men broke into a run after her. She grabbed her bag and took off down the road, heading for the town up ahead.

Lyle decided to follow Shannon since he wasn't actually sure where he would go. Valerie and Jesse had already left with men chasing somewhere behind them. "Need some light for the tunnel,"he asked Shannon as they neared, smiling a little at her as a small ball of flame appeared in his hand, easily giving them light to see by.

Jesse was finally around the corner now. He turned around to see a man poke his head out, noticing Jesse he started running after him. Jesse then began running once more. He realized he had come to the highway, he was now stuck. He saw Valerie and he ran to her. "Need help across the highway?" Jesse asked. Before she could answer, he put up a wall of rock in front of the passing cars. It stopped traffic from coming, and now Jesse and Valerie could both escape.

Shannon looked at Lyle. She was glad he was here, else she wasn't sure what she was supposed to do. "Wow, thanks." She said gasping. She then patted Lyle on the shoulder with a thankful smile. Shannon and Lyle then took off through the tunnel, she glanced behind her shoulder and saw the man running after her, still on the tracks. Shannon sighed and realized she had some time.

Valerie didn't even hear him come up and was surprised to see him standing next to her now. "Thanks,"she said, smiling. One of the men had made it over the fence, but the other one had gotten stuck. "C'mon,"she said, grabbing his hand and pulling him along beside her as she dashed across the road.

"It's no problem at all,"Lyle said, returning the smile as the two started down the tunnel. He wasn't really worried about the man following them because he knew that between the two of them, it would be easy to get rid of him.

Jesse jerked foward as she took his hand. "Whoa!" He said as they ran across the, now empty, highway. Jesse turned around and saw that the man that was chasing him was around the corner he just came from. He then fixed his eyes on the men that were after Valerie. Jesse let go of Valerie's hand, gesturing for her to go on. "I'll be there in a second." He said. He thrust one hand in front of him, a big wall of rock blocked off the men that were after them. It would take a while for them to get to them.

Shannon slowed to a stop, catching her breath. She was already breathing hard. "A-Alright.. I think there far behind us now." She told Lyle as they continued down the long, dark tunnel. With only the fire to provide light, it still was dark in the tunnel. Shannon looked at Lyle, "So.." She said, still in shock that there was others just like her.

Valerie quickly hurried to the opposite side of the street and waited there for Jesse. She could hear a few honking car horns, but she paid no mind. The men seemed to be now occupied with the wall that was set in front of them, keeping them from getting across.

"I'm still kind of trying to grasp the idea that there are others like us,"Lyle said, unsure as well of what to say so he started there. He honestly was still reeling from the revelation.

Jesse then turned and ran after Valerie. He had just exposed himself to alot of people, well the people that were on the highway. He didn't mind though, this would probably be the last time they saw him, hopefully. Jesse caught up to Valerie, "That should hold them off for awhile, enough to get the hell out of here." Jesse told her. "Where to now?" He asked her, letting her lead the way.

Shannon nodded in agreement to Lyle. "Yeah, I know.. I didn't expect to meet you guys." She admitted. But it was kind of a 'DUH' thing. She didn't expect to meet anyone like her EVER. But she was glad she did, they were also in the same situation as she was. "So, you control fire don't you?" Shannon said, although it was obvious since he proved it as he made his own fire in his hand.

"To town I guess. Find a hotel to stay at or something and definitely get something to eat,"Valerie said, walking along the side of the road toward the lights of Wilkshire. "Is it fun controlling the Earth and stuff,"she asked suddenly, looking over at him.

"Yup, and you control water right,"Lyle asked, remembering how she'd turned the water on the train into ice. He knew it was kind of an obvious answer, but he felt the need to confirm it anyway.

Jesse nodded, "Sounds like a plan. Do you know where we could find a hotel?" He asked her. He hadn't been in Wilkshire in forever, and the last time he came he was a tiny baby. Yeah, like he could remember everything. Jesse looked around themselves, trying to see if he could spot anything. They didn't have much to worry about, the men were way distracted.

Shannon nodded at him with a smile. "What do we do now?" She asked Lyle. She the wondered how the other two were doing, were they safe? Shannon sighed, she wasn't sure why she was concerned about them.

"I know that there's some closer in to the city that aren't very expensive to stay at,"Valerie replied looking at the city as it grew bigger as they got closer. Luckily where the train had stopped, it wasn't far from another train station and not far from the crowded part of Wilkshire.

"Find a place to stay and hopefully find Valerie and Jesse,"Lyle said as they neared the end of the tunnel. You could see a sidewalk and the road at the end of the tunnel and luckily, no men following them.

Jesse nodded and followed Valerie, heading to the train station. He then turned around to make sure they were safe, and indeed they were. The men hadn't gotten anywhere, atleast that's what he could tell. He then faced Valerie, "So.. what powers do you control?" He asked. He wasn't quite sure, he had seen her back on the bus, how she made the windows explode. He was to occoupied with getting off the bus and stopping the train that he didn't really see how she did it.

Shannon nodded and walked out of the tunnel with Lyle. "Theres a train station up ahead from here. Since Valerie crossed the highway, she possibly is heading to the train station." Shannon stated, then she began talking again. "Jesse turned the corner, obviously not seeing where he was heading after that, he has possibly caught up with Valerie since the corner lead to the highway itself. But who knows." Shannon said, practically saying 'Were going to the train station.'

"Electricity. Comes in handy during storms if the power goes out,"Valerie said, smiling over at him. Often times, she would keep at least one light on in the house if the lights went out but it would always be the room without a window like a bathroom so people wouldn't notice and get suspicious.

"So we're heading to the train station then,"Lyle said as they stepped onto the sidewalk and began toward the train station. There weren't many cars on the road which was good since he didn't want them to get any unneccessary attention.

[[Kiki-Chan]]

Jesse looked at her and grinned, "Heh, nice." He said, "Lighting would be cool to have." He said, looking ahead. There was a building off in the distance. Then the train station right next to it, "Hn.. almost there." Jesse said as he squinted his eyes to see it more clearly. He then looked Valerie, "What about Shannon and Lyle?" He asked her.

Shannon then looked at the highway. "Wow.." She said under her breath. She then looked ahead and saw a wall of rock. "Hmph, yeah.. were going to the train station." She said, saying that as in meaning that Jesse had passed through here. She looked ahead, nothing but more grass to walk on. They weren't that close to getting anywhere.

"Considering they'd probably head into the city rather than away from it since there's nothing the other way, we'll probably see them once we arrive at the train station. And if not, we can somehow try to find them once we get to the city since we were all going there anyways,"Valerie answered, adjusting her backpack.

"I find it a very odd coincidence that we all happened to be at the same train station, going to the same place, on the same train, in the same compartment. Who knew finding others like ourselves would be so easy,"Lyle joked, smiling over at her.

[[Kiki-Chan]]

Jesse sighed and nodded. "Sounds like a plan. Well, we'd better hurry." He said, speeding up his pace. The train station was, now, not that far away. He looked at Valerie, a soft smile on his lips. "So. What happened to you that made you want to come to Wilksire?" He questioned her. He wanted to hear her story, it'd be rather interesting to hear. Also something to pass time as they made there way.

Shannon laughed and nodded. "Yeah, that is.. weird." She admitted. It was strange. They all ended up on the same train, heading to the same place.. it was as if it was fate. "What made you come to Wilksire in such a hurry?" She wondered. She wanted to hear his story, it made her curious and such.

"Well, I was just minding my own business, not doing anything when some loser man, like the ones from the train, decide it would be cool to basically drop a telephone pole on me. I dodged the pole but not the wires so the electricity just absorbed into me so everyone around was like WTF and then I bolted home to be attacked again but I got rid of him easily and I knew I had to get out so I came here,"Valerie said, her voice rising and falling with each part of her story.

"Similar to what happened on the train really. I was exposed pretty much by those guys chasing us when two attacked me in the park. I knew I couldn't stay there so I got out of town. What about you,"Lyle asked, looking over at her.

[[Kiki-Chan]]

Jesse raised an eyebrow. "Whoa.." He said. Which made him wonder why men were after them. Well, especially them. How did they figure out that they had powers, and why were they chasing them? There was so many questions Jesse wanted answered. "My story.." He said trailing off. "I was at a coffee shop and some supicious man was watching me the whole time. I finished and walked outside, to be almost ran over by a speeding car. Got into my car, to be attacked once more. So I drove to get on the train to Wilkshire immediatly. I wasn't able to get any clothes and such." Jesse said disappointedly.

Shannon huffed. "That's horrible." She said to him. "Well. I was tossing rocks into the lake that's behind my house. Then some man came up behind me and pushed me into the water, trying to drown me. I practically shoved alot of water down his throat I guess.. then another man appeared and helped him.. to stupid to realize I was out of there. So I came to Wilksire.. obviously." Shannon said laughing, even though it was no laughing matter.

"I'm sorry. Maybe we can pick you up some clothes when we get to the city,"Valerie suggested, trying to brighten his mood. She had money with her and didn't mind helpin him out since he had nothing.

"Sounds like a pretty exciting day,"Lyle teased, smiling over at her.

Jesse nodded at her. "I decided I would go back home, once I seattled here, and get some of my stuff." He shrugged, "Seems kind of impossible though. Yeah, I guess I'll just get some new clothes." He said looking over at her and smiling at her. It didn't seem to brighten the mood at all, well.. it sort of did. Considering there lives were at risk today and they had to move to Wilkshire so suddenly.

Shannon laughed and smiled at him. "Sure has." She said as she continued to walk towards the train station. "Way to exciteing." She added with a quick nod.
