What is up everybody? Welcome to this thread. Let me attempt to give you a brief history about the this particular roleplaying game:

A certain amount of people are drugged, taken away from their homes, and locked together in an apartment room several stories above the ground. Though there is a fire escape outside the three windows that leads to an alley, and although the windows are easy to break, there are bars locked in place, preventing anyone from exiting anywhere but the front door. I would also advise against smashing the windows from the get-go, because everyone will be locked in for at least one day. The door is locked, and is made of steel. The only way to unlock the door is to find the key that's hidden in the room. The windows give a clear view of a city surrounding the apartment, though it looks as though the city is deserted.

Outside the city is a forest to the north, a beach to the south, a lake to the west, and the ocean continues in the east. A mountain range isolates the city beyond the forest, and the only ways past it are to climb over it or go around it via the lake. The goal of the characters in this game is to find a way to escape and find civilization, though there is no guarentee that they will find any. You can think of it as them being transported to another dimension or something, though there are no abnormal creatures or anything.

And there's the story. If you've read through that, then congradulations!! It would appear that you have a slight interest in this. Well, here are the rules:

1) NO GOD MODDING!... except for me!!!... No, I'm just kidding. I'm not going to god mod either. The only part I will god mod is the apartment room in the beginning. I'll tell one character that they found the key. After that, there will be NO GOD MODDING!!!

2) Your character isn't invincible! They can get hurt, they will be hit, and they can D-I-E. The creator can choose to kill off their character if they want, though it must be stated OOC.

*Note- Characters can kill each other if they want, but it must be agreed upon by the killer and the victim's creator.

3) Any and all skills of the character must be listed in their profile. If one character gets stabbed by broken glass, it MUST be stated in the responding characters profile that they know first aid. Otherwise, I'll just delete their post (yes, I'm going to memorize all of the characters profiles).

4) A drawn or actual picture may be used.

5) There are guns in this, but it is only limited to pistols. There will be NO character that will pull out a RPG from their pants! Other weapons will be included, such as expandable batons, knives, crossbows, etc.

6) There can be romance if you want there to be romance. However, it must be agreed by those that are going to participate in it. Things can also go past a kiss, but sex will be limited to private messages. I don't want anything to get out of hand, or for this thread to be erased.

7) Swearing is not an issue. As long as your character doesn't say a swear word after every other word or too excessively, it'll be alright.

8) Use correct grammar and punctuation. Also, be sure to use proper form when your character speaks (if you are confused about this, look at a book).

9) Italics are for when your character thinks. "Quotes" are for when your character speaks. When your character is talking and uses another character's quotes, use these the single dashes. Here's an example.

"... He said to me, 'Don't ever do something you'll regret.'"

Bold is for emphasis on a point. CAPS is for loud sounds, such as shouts.((Double parenthesis')) will be used for Out of Character (OOC, for those that don't know).

10) Keep track of everything, please! Things may get really confusing, so just keep track of everyone.

11) Only one character per person! If you kill your character, go ahead and create another. Just use ONE AT A TIME! This helps lower the confusion level.

12) This is all based on real life stuff. No flying, shooting chi blasts, or anything that can't happen in real life.

13) Use at least four complete sentences. If it's appropriate to use less, then do so, but try to do more than four.

And there are the rules. I might add more, but that's unlikely. So, now is the character template:

Arms: Tatoos can also be included in the description.

Legs: Tatoos can also be included in the description.

Chest: Tatoos can also be included in the description.

Back: Same as above.

Abdominals: Same as above.

Feet: Basically just your character's shoe size.

Clothing: What your character wears (obviously).

Mentality: How your character thinks.

Religion:

Life Philosophy: What your character lives by.

Fighting Description: If it applys.

And there's the character template. Be sure to be descriptive and accurate about your character information. You can have contradicting information, just don't make it too confusing.

Well, that's all. I'll be posting my characters profile, and hopefully there'll be at least seven people doing this thing. Use my character profile as an example. I hope those that participate will have fun, and those that read it enjoy doing so.

Likes: Sunsets, the full moon, warm rain, personal honor, warm days with a cool breeze, snow, and cold lemonade.

Dislikes: Arrogant people, dishonor, betrayal, being used

Hobbies: Martial arts, playing Shogi and Igo (two Japanese board games), street magic (specifically card and coin magic), tricking (look it up on youtube or wiki), playing the shamisen.

Talents: Natural runner, able to sprint over long distances without becoming tired. He's also a good teacher, and very analytical.

Skill(s): A good martial artist, and he's able to identify dangerous situations.

Appearance-

Eyes: Brown

Hair: Black and spiked.

Arms: Leans arms. His right arm is slightly more muscular than his left arm, but his left arm is faster. He as a carp "swimming" up his left arm, and a dragon "flying" down his right.

Legs: Muscular calves and slim thighs.

Chest: Athletic chest.

Back: Looks small, but has a broad back when carrying something.

Abdominals: The source of his leg stregth. They are well defined.

Feet: Wears a size 10, but wears shoes that make his feet look smaller.

Clothing: He wears a black muscle shirt covered by a blue windbreaker. He also wears blue jeans and black savate shoes. He always carries a deck of cards in his right pants pocket, and a spare in his right rear pocket.

Character Background

History: He was born in Hong Kong to a Chinese father and a Japanese mother, though he was raised in Osaka, Japan. When he was three, he was enrolled in Tae Kwon Do and took classes in both magic and tricking. He was also introduced to Taoism. By five, he started playing the shamisen and took up Shogi, and a year later started playing Igo. At six, he started Bajiquan, but dropped out due to his parents divorce when he turned nine. By thirteen, he dropped out of Tae Kwon Do and moved with his mother to Kobe, Japan. Despite his parents divorce, he led a fairly normal life.

A few weeks after his 17th birthday, he was drugged and woke up in an apartment building. He was the first to wake.

Mentality: Can remain calm and collected in tough situations, though he is quick to anger, and makes decisions based on whats best for others, regardless of what happens to himself. He either shuffles a deck of cards or roll a coin on his fingers when he's bored.

Religion: Taoist

Life Philosophy: "Nothing is absolute, and no one can know anything. They can only suspect."

Fighting Description: He has taken Tae Kwon Do and Bajiquan, also known as Hakkyokuken (or eight extreme fists/palms). He usually uses Tae Kwon Do when he fights, and only uses Bajiquan on rare occasions. When he fights, he makes extensive use of roundhouse and axe kicks when using Tae Kwon Do, and powerful palm strikes when using Bajiquan.

"Ohhh... My head..." Lloyd thought, coming out of a forced sleep. He felt dizzy and disoriented. He shook his head, trying to open his eyes. They opened very slowly. It only took him a second after that to fully awaken.

Where... am I? he thought. He was sitting against a wall under a window. He looked around and saw others sleeping. Where... What's going on here? He got up and stumbled toward the door, not fully off the drug that was forced in him. He fell against it, his body making a lound thud. A steel door? He turned around and looked the other people. I guess I'll wait till one of them wakes up.

History:Aiden came from a nice household, they had nice things but never had money, weird huh? well She grewe up well makeing average grades and staying active through marching band.

Mentality: She has a very positive outlook on life, she always sees the good qualities in people and that results in people always coming to her for advice because shes so understanding.

Religion:Christian (yae Jesus!)

Life Philosophy: She lives by the bible, go where God takes you.

Fighting Description: She uses to her defense, whatever is closest to her.

Aiden's eyes fluttered open as she awoke to the sound of someone stumbling around.
The smell of the musty room filled her nostrils as she opened her eyes, she was laid roughly on her side, faceing a blandly wallpapered wall. She gave a small goran as she raised her head, she quickly gave a small gasp to the crick in her neck.
She frowned and turned over, She was still a bit drugged.

((OOC: YES! Thanks for posting. I don't really know why "Feet" is important. When I create a character, I usually include every bit of information about them. So I guess it's just a habit.))

Lloyd leaned against the metal door, feeling slightly dizzy but he was slowly regaining his senses. He saw that someone else had started to wake up. He tried to regain his balance and headed to his left, toward tiled floor of what he thought would be the kitchen. He felt really thirsty, as if he hadn't had anything to drink for a couple days.

Aiden could see another moving out of the corner of her eye.
She gave a low confused and sore moan.
Her eyes widened a bit more as she took in her surroundings.
'Where am I?...this is not my Apartment, what was I doing last, why am I here?' All these thoughts swam through her head as she rolled over, faceing the kitchen. She saw others around her, still out cold.
Her eyes grew wider as Panic set in.
She pulled herself up on all fours as she frantically looked around the room.
She couldnt scream, She was too afraid to scream.
She began to slightly Hyperventilate.

Lloyd had somehow made his way to a sink, splashing water on his face and gulping down the cold liquid. He had fully regained his senses as he looked around the room, taking a few steps back, hitting the fridge with his arm. A typical kitchen with white walls and a window with bars on it to his left. He turned and opened the fridge, expecting nothing. He was suprised to see that it had food nad drink inside it.

"That's weird," he said aloud, picking up a milk carton. "Nothing's expired either." He closed the fridge and started looking through the cabinets and drawers. He found forks, knives, spoons, plates; everything seemed completely normal.

Aiden pulled herself up using the kitchen counter, she rushed to the sink, paying no mind to the man by the fridge, and gulped down some water.
She rubbed her eyes and looked up, her breathing calmed.
She then remembered that there was another man in the room, she whipped around and backed away from him.
"D-don't hurt me" she said backing around to the otherside of the counter.
She wasnt sure if he was the reason he was here or if he was just in the same boat she was, eaither way she knew that he could over power her if he so pleased.

Lloyd heard a girl rush into the room and loudly gulp down some water. He kept his back turned to her, remembering that she was one of the unconscious people that he saw. Besides, she didn't really seem like one who would represent a threat. He was rummaging through another cabinet, shifting around the multiple spices that were stored there.

Why is there so much stuff here? he thought to himself. He then heard footsteps backing away from him.

"D-don't hurt me," the girl said. Lloyd looked over his shoulder at her.

"Hurt you? If you think I'm the one who put you here, you're wrong," he replied, closing the cabinet and turning to face her, leaning on the counter. "If I did put you here, I would've locked you in a room or something, instead of letting walk around," he said. He took a moment and thought about what he said. "... I guess that didn't really sound good, did it?"

Aiden's stomache knotted a bit at his reply, but at the same time she felt a rush of releif knowing he wasnt a threat.
She nodded and looked around a couple of seconds.
"I assume u know about as much as me as to why we're here and how we got here?" she muttered walking into the kitchen again.

Lloyd watched as the girl left the kitchen. He walked up to the window and looked out at the street. Strange, he thought. There's cars parked out there, but there doesn't seem to be... anyone.

"I assume u know about as much as me as to why we're here and how we got here?" he heard her ask.

"Yeah," he replied, turning to her. "All I remember is walking home, then waking up here. The door's locked and made of steel, there's bars on the windows, the fridge is full of food..." he stayed quiet for a couple seconds before adding, "... and the weird part is, this place seems to be deserted," he said, looking back out the window.

She nodded, takeing a look around the room.
"somone wants us to stay for a while...but whom.." she mumbled.
She walked over to the window next to him.
"wow...Where is place?" she asked, mainly herself. She searched around what she could see out the window for some clue as to where they were being held captive.
She could see the redlight down the street, it was broken, hanging by one wire.
the cars below were covered by pollen and dead leaves.
"God..." she mumbled feeling herself grow frustrated.

((OOC: Sorry for not posting in a couple days. Took my final, then spent the rest of the day and the next packing my stuff to move out of my apartment. Took longer than I had originally planned. COME ONE PEOPLE, JOIN!!!))

"I don't know. Until the rest of the people wake up, we won't be able to find if we have anything in common," he replied.

"Wow... Where is this place?" she asked. Lloyd looked at her. She was looking through the glass, her eyes darting here-and-there. "God..."

Lloyd gave a small sigh before answering.

"I don't know that either. Where ever we are, it seems to be abandoned. "

"well until the others wake up we'll need to keep ourselves sane somehow." She looked over to the others alseep.
"what if some dont ever wake up?" she mumbled.
She shook her head.
"well I'm curious to find how were connected here, What do you do for a living, or are you still in school?" she asked.

"What if some don't ever wake up?" the girl asked. Lloyd gave that idea some thought; he hadn't even considered that.

"I don't know what will happen," he said, giving an honest answer.

"Well I'm curious to find how we're connected here. What do you do for a living, or are you still in school?" Lloyd gave a little chuckle before answering.

"Well, don't get too over excited, but I was a dish washer for a place called TK Noodle. I'm still in high school, but I was saving money for college," he said, smiling slightly. "By the way, I'm Lloyd. And you?"

She looked at the others asleep in the living room area.
They all seemned to be Highschool Students, or College.
She bit her lip again.

Life Philosophy: Kaida lives by the way of mother nature, not hippie like, but more in tune with the earth.

Kaida slowly opened her eyes as a wave of dizziness hit as she sat up. As the dizziness went away she looked around trying to figure out where she was. She saw others lying around looking as though they were asleep, not knowing there were two already awake. " Hello", she called out hoping to get an answere back. Standing up she started to walk around the room, looking for another door.

"Marching band, huh?" Lloyd said, smiling slightly. "I tried it once. Never again will I repeat that."

"Hello" a voice called out; it sounded disoriented. Lloyd glanced in it's direction before going to one of the cabinets and filling it with water. He walked to the room adjoining the kitchen and saw a girl try to wake up, obviously still dizzy from whatever drug was used on her. He walked over and squated infront of her, offering the glass of water toward her.

"Here's some water. Drink it," he said.

Kaida rubbed her eyes, trying to get the sleep from them, and looked around again, thinking she heard something move in the next room. She was a little worried as the others were still not awake, but thought maybe someone was. Was this person good, or bad? I wonder where I am and how i got here?

He walked over and squated infront of her, offering the glass of water toward her.
"Here's some water. Drink it," he said.

Looking up at the person who walked into the room, Kaida then looked to the water.
Takeing the water that was offered she slowly drank it. " Thank you", she said handing the glass back. " I am Kaida, who might you be?"

Aiden was about to make a comment on his Marching Band Past but was thrown off when she heard the Hello.
Her head whipped around and she peered over the counter and into the living area to see another girl wake up.
She watched as he gave her water.
"hello" she said over the conter flatly. She was Surprised at how short a time she freaked out. She decided it must've been Lloyd. She smiled to the girl.

I passed. My final grade in Statistics was a strong C (yes, very impressive, I know), and my Theatre Arts final was a B. I haven't gotten my Qualitative Methods final back yet, but I believe that I'll be sitting at a 3.2 when it's finished.))

The girl took the glass from Lloyd's hand, sipping it slowly. Aiden had looked over the counter at the person who had just woke up.

"Hello," she said flatly. Lloyd looked back at her and smiled a little before turning back to the girl.

"I am Kaida. Who might you be?" she asked, shifting glances between Aiden and Lloyd.

"I'm Lloyd. Nice to meet you," he said, standing and walking back to the kitchen. "Are you two hungry?" he asked Kaida and Aiden.

She looked over to Lloyd. "um not really" she mumbled looking around.
She was still very confused as to why she was kidnapped.
She returned to the window.
"*sigh* I wonder what everyone at home's doing...its almost 6 pm." she thought aloud.
She pictured her mother on the couch crying as the police were out searching for her.
Her stomache tightened at the thought.

"Nice to meet you both," Kaida said as she stood up, still a little dizzy. " I would like something, do you know what there is to eat?" she asked Lloyd. Kaida then followed Lloyd to the kitchen, hoping there would be something she might be able to eat, even though her stomach felt bad. I wonder why we are all here? she thought to herself, almost asking out loud.

Aiden walked over to the pantry and was surprised at how much food they had.
"someone definetly doesnt plan on killing us...yet" she mumbled.

Kaida smiled child like, opening another cabinet finding more food. " I think your right, but why would someone try and kill us?" she asked Aiden.
Grabbing something that looked like granola bars, she passed them out to the other two. " Unless you both want something different?"
Snacking down on the granola her stomache felt a little queezy and set the bar down on the counter. Okay I guess food isn't going to settle. she thought. I wonder why someone is trying to kill us?
" What if the food is poisoned?" Kaida asked as she started to get a little paranoid.

Aiden had opened a pantry, revealing yet more food. This is really... strange, Lloyd thought to himself. Lots of food, nothings expired... What the hell is going on?

"Someone definately doesn't plan on killing us... yet," Aiden mumbled. Kaida came into the kitchen and opened another cabinet.

"I think you're right, but why would someone try to kill us?" she asked Aiden. She had grabbed a few granola bars and handed one of them to Lloyd. "Unless you want something different?"

"No, this is fine, thanks," Lloyd said, taking the bar. He opened it and took a small bite. Once the food entered his mouth, he realized just how hungry he was. He skarfed down the granola bar, but patiently waited until either another was offered or if he would drop dead.

"What if the food is poisoned?" Kaida suddenly asked, as if coming to this realization.

"Poisoned? Why would someone kidnap us just to poison us?" Lloyd asked. "If it were me, I wouldn't bother with something like that," he reasoned. Then he took a couple seconds to think over what he just said. "... Huh... that didn't sound right..."

" I guess you are right Lloyd." Kaida began to calm down, yet her mind still raced, How will i ever get out of here, how are we supposed to know how to get out? A dumb thought but she tried to cover everything.

"well if theyre not poisened they could want certain people to become paranoid of it, mess with our minds." she walked into the bathroom, there was plenty of all the things they would need.
She walked to the drawer and opened it.
there was a toothbrush for everyone in the house.
"jesus..." she mumbled as she saw everyones names written on the toothbrushes.
She looked down at hers, it ws familiar, Infact it was really her toothbrush, the one right from her own bathroom.
She slammned the drawer shut and backed out of the bathroom.
"ok now its getting alittle too much.." she said running her hands through her hair.

" Funny, why would someone want to do that, whats their reason?" Kaida asked peeking around the bathroom door after the drawer was slammed shut.
Looking back to Lloyd who seemed more calm than them, she asked, "how do we get out of here, any ideas?"

Aiden closed the bathroom door behind her and stood beside Kaida.
"well Im assumeing these people or person has serious mental problems, ther're motivation could merely be entertainment..." she said looking along the walls for something that resembled a camera.

((OOC: Hello. Originally, I said that I would do a little godmodding in regards to who finds the key to the door. Now that I think about, I don't really think that that's a good idea. So, the key is in the light fixture where the characters first woke up. However, I think it would be more interesting to hold off on finding the key for a while. Either way, it's up to you guys whether or not that happens.))

Lloyd listened to the two talk amongst themselves as he rummaged through the fridge for something else to eat. He pulled out some strawberry bananna yogurt, dug through thr silverware for a spoon, and began eating. As he listened to Aiden and Kaida, a good point was brought up. That's a good question. What is their motive? Lloyd thought, bringing another scoop of yogurt to his mouth.

"How do we get out of here, any ideas?" he heard Kaida ask him.

"Well," he began, swallowing another spoonful of yogurt, "the windows are barred, so even if we smashed them, we couldn't get out. The door is also locked. Even though it's painted to resemble wood, it's actually metal. I would say that the only way out is to find the key and unlock the door."

He ate the last of the yogurt and set it in the sink. He walked back into the room where he woke up and leaned against a wall, thinking about both the reason for them being here and where the key was hidden.

"Well, I'm assuming these people, or person, has serious mental problems. They're motivation could merely be entertainment..." Aiden said, looking around the room for a camera.

Lloyd's eyes widened for a split second as she said it. I never even thought of that as a possibility, he thought to himself.

"If that's the case, then we're just random victims," he said, thinking. "If we're random, then there has to have been a sign or signal that we did to make us targets." He looked up at both the girls. "What was the last thing you two remember doing?"

A long, red coat is what she's normally seen in. Black, decorative things going down the front. Her coat stops at her ankles. The coat flares out at her waist, where the buttons stop and the coat flows free. Three other slits -one on her back and on each side- allow her leg movement.

-Character Background-

History:

Tarja grew up in Hawaii, but was born in China. Her grandfather and grandmother was not married and her Hawaiian grandmother was forced to go back to her homeland. Her grandfather followed when their daughter -Tarja's mother- was two. They went on to have four boys and two more girls.

Tarja's mother married a -ironically- halfbreed as well. He was half Hawaiian and Chinese as well. Tarja was conceived in Hawaii and born in that same land. But she was torn from there because of family disputes. Tarja never cried so hard. She went on to grow up all over the States: Philly, L.A, Texas, Ohio, North Dakota, and finally - back to Ohio.

Unfortunitly, Tarja grew up mostly alone. She spent most of her late childhood, early teenhood in pure lonliness and solitude. She had no where to go, no friends, no one. When she started her period, she thought she was dying. That's how bad it was. Her parents gew disconected from reality, favoring her three siblings over her, despite her being the eldest. Tarja just accepted it. Then, she was found because of her voice.

Tarja was kidnapped on her way out of her practice, thrown into a van and drugged. She is now just awaking in a dark, lonely room with only herself and the darkness.

Mentality:

Extremely calm. Tarja's not the type to freak out easily, nor get scared or angry easily. Tarja has chronic depression though, meaning she gets depressed at the drop of a hat, which could explain why she has so many scars on her wrists.

Lloyd listened to both of them. If anything, that was one thing they had in common; they all were out when they were kidnapped. Since we were all out, Lloyd reasoned, then there must have been something that marked us. Something we touched... or maybe someone that touched us?

"I think that's the only thing we have in common; we were all out", he said outloud. "I'm thinking... did you two touch anything on your way home? Or did anyone touch you? "Well, the last thing I was around was the statue at the main park on my way home from the vets office... there was also some person, not sure of the gender... but that's all." Aiden then sat down beside her.

"Okay. I was on my home from work. I took a shortcut through a park. I remember three other people walking through, but they were going in the opposite direction," Lloyd said.

He leaned up against the wall that connected the kitchen to the room he woke up in, taking a moment to absorb the information. So, let's go through this again. All three of us were heading home... which means that either the person or persons had chosen us randomly, which seems to be the case, or that they took their time memorizing our schedules... but, he thought, looking at both of his palms. But how did we get knocked out? Unless...

"An injection," he said aloud.

Tarja moaned softly, holding her head. What happened. . . ? She couldnt remember much of anything after she got into her home. Tarja strained her memory, trying to remember. She walked into her house. . . put the bags on the table to put away after she put her coat up. . . man - she assmued by how built the arm was - grabbed her in a choke hold, stuck a needle into her neck.

Sighing, she sat up and waited for the double vision to fade away before she even attempted to stand up. Her coat better not be ruinied or else someone was going to die. Tarja groaned, rubbing her temples as she cursed in Chinese.

"A-. . . in-. . . tion. . ." she heard. Tarja blinked. Someone else was here with her. . . ? How many others?

"Oh my God. . . " she mumbled.

She strained her memory to try and remember what happened after the encounter with the man.

there was a small stininging in the palm. She looked at it closer, there was a small punture spot where she had been stuck with a needle.

"omg, the man when he shook my hand he stuck me with a needle, it was so fast and I was in a hurry I thought very little of it, please tell me it was a clean needle" she mumbled the last bit.

She felt the knot again.
Her eye twitched as she suddenly pictured herself being thrown around and manhandled. She quickly checked herself to make sure her shirt or nothing was put on inside out. when everything was fine she gave a sigh of releif.

Aiden Heard from the living room. She turned her head to see another female wakeing up.

"I think it would be best to just get them some water for now," he replied, heading toward the kitchen and filling a glass with water.

"Picked for our... talents?" Lloyd repeated, placing a finger on his forehead. "Well, that's an interesting hypothesis. I have to admit that that idea went straight past me." Kaida looked at Aiden and Lloyd with a puzzled look.

"Why me then? All I do is help animals. That is nothing special." Thinking again, she looked a little sad. "I can sing, that is my talent, but still why me?"

"Well, anatomically speaking," Lloyd began, turning to look at Kaida, "common pets, like dogs and cats, have similar bones to humans... Well, in regards to the femur, tibula, and the other limbs. Since you help animals, maybe those that captured us assumed you'd be proficient in medical treatment." He then noticed a sad look in Kaida's eyes, so he decided to end his statement happily. "And I'm sure you're a wonderful singer," he said, smiling before looking back out the window.

"... I fence, but that is all," Lloyd heard Bill reply. He heard footsteps behind him, heading toward Aiden. "I know what you mean by that."

"Well," Lloyd began. "I guess it's my turn to throw in my two cents," he said, turning to face those that had woken up. "I suppose my talent is that I'm a critical thinker. I pay attention to details and I'm sort of a perfectionist. I guess those aren't really talents, but, that's all I've got."

"... So, what is the plan if no one else wakes up?" Bill said, looking at Lloyd.

"Well, first, we need to find a way out," Lloyd said, looking at the steel door. "The door won't open without a key, and the windows are barred. We could try to break down a wall, though if that fails, we'll be left breathing whatever fumes and bacteria that had built up behind it." He looked back at the others before continuing. "Our safest bet would be to find the key that unlocks the door, unless someone has another idea?"

Bill smiled, " I believe that is a good idea, find a way out of here and hope there is nothing to get us into trouble. Still if we are picked for our talents then what is it we are supposed to use our talents for to get out?" Bill wasn't as good a thinker as others but he understood some things that would make sense. Bill looked to Kaida, " don't be sad, we are all here for a reason, and whatever that reason is, we will get through this without a problem." He tried cheering her up, hoping what Lloyd had said and what he said helped.

Kaida smiled at both Bill and Lloyd, " thank you both." she said as she began to pace the floor, thinking of something that could help them get out. if i were a key where would i be placed? Kaida began to search the room, in all places the were visable to the eye.

Aiden nodded, she was lost in thought, She walked to one of the back bedrooms, She looked around in therem the bed had white sheets pillows, like a normal averge apartment.
SHe walked to the night stand, there was a lamp, and a glass of water.
She raised an eyebrow to the water. She lifted it up and sniffed it, She raised it to the light coming out the window and examoned it.
She shrugged and placed it back down.

She walked over to the closet and opened it, indie was just a drawer. She opened it. Inever drawer was a gun with one bullet in it.
She took a step back, disgusted she slammned the closet door shut and fell back onto the bed with a small frustrated scream.
'they want us to go crazy trying to figure this Sh!t out' she thought.

"I can try," Tarja said, getting up. She reached into her hair and grabbed a bobby pin then reached into her boot, grabbing a pair of nail sisors. Yeah, she kept one. Tarja then attempted to pick the lock.

She sighed.
"I dont think they would make it that easy" she called to them from the bedroom.
She laid theere pictureing some sort of trap on the otherside of the door like in saw, or another door or a creepy Hallway or a guard or mabey the lock was a special lock.
She shrugged and waited.

"I would have to agree with Aiden on this one," Lloyd said while looking under a lamp on a small stool. "It's unlikely that the door could be picked, but I suppose it never hurts to try."

He stood up and looked at Tarja, who was attempting to pick the door's lock. Scissors? he asked himself. She carries scissors?

"I wasn't expecting that," he said aloud. He started to head toward the kitchen, thinking that he might find something there.

" I guess your right Aiden, it wouldn't be that easy to get out." Kaida gave up finally sitting in a chair by the door. Kaida sat there thinking of another place where the key might be.

Aiden paced back and forth along the kitchen counter, she opened the stove and looked in there, nope no key.
She ran her finger through her medium length blonde hair.
She gave a frustrated growl as she hit the counter.
"this is driving me insane! Why me?! WHY ME?!" she cried as she laid her head on the counter.
"I dont even know if im in any real danger, I dont know why they chose me, i dont know who they are or what intentions they have, I wish they would have left a note or something, at least then Id know If im gonna die here or not" she said her voice jumping octives from her sudden panic burst.

((OOC: My 4th of July was AWSOME!!! I went to a party and, well, I'll just say that I had more fun than I expected. Hope all of yours was AWSOME as well!!))

Lloyd was grateful that someone had interveened, which provided a reason for him not to respond. He closed off that pathetic would-be argument off into it's own compartment in his mind, not completely forgetting just in case it would be reopened later on.

"I guess your right Aiden," Tarja said, appearantly giving up on picking the doors lock, "it wouldn't be that easy to get out."

Aiden had entered the kitchen and started to pace back and forth. She opened the stove and checked to see if the key wasn't inside. It wasn't. She gave a growl as she hit the counter, obviously giving in to frustration.

"I don't even know if I'm in any real danger! I don't know why they chose me, I don't know who they are or what intentions they have! I wish they would have left a note or something!! At least then I'd know if I'm gonna die here or not!!!" Aiden said, her voice changing to random pitches as she spoke.

"Well, I don't want to be pessimistic," Lloyd began, looking up at Aiden fron under the sink, "but there is the possibility that there is no reason, no intention. Maybe someone was really bored and decided to kill a few people, or maybe someone's pulling a prank. Maybe there isn't even a key that'll let us out, and we die in this apartment." He stood up and gently grabbed Aiden by the shoulders, forcing her to look at him in the eyes. "The only thing that matters right now, though, is to keep calm and try to find a way out of here. We mustn't panic, okay? It would just make the situation worse. So, take a couple deep breaths and calm down. If we are suppose to die here, then I'm not going to just let that happen. And I hope you won't either."

Lloyd let go of Aiden's shoulders and resumed looking for a key. His search in the kitchen failed miserably, so he decided to take a second look in the living room (or, at least, the room where everyone woke up in). He walked toward the door and squated next to Tarja.

"Sorry about before. I was at fault. No hard feelings?" he said, holding out a hand for a shake. If anything, I shouldn't have lost my temper then. I guess I need to work on that some more, or else it might lead to bigger problems.

Aiden couldnt look him the eyes as he held her shoulders.
her mind was swimming as she tried to take in what he said.
when he released her she fell back against the fridge and sank to the floor.

Kaida started to cry, seeing others cry made her feel bad, this was when she started to feel guilty always blaming herself for things that were small. I dont want anyone hurt, so if we are here to die. " I know, lets show these creeps that we wont fall into there scheme and break free, then hunt them down and beat them." Kaida began to get excited along with a little mad, she didn't want anyone hurt, but if the creeps were going to hurt them why not switch the game.

Bill watched the group of people, thinking as he paced the room. " I think right now it would be best if we stuck to one thing at a time. I don't believe switching the game on them would help us any." Pacing still he looked up into the light, could it realy be in the ceiling tiles? Grabbing a chair, Bill climb on the chair and began checking the ceiling.

((OOC: For me, it's weird to answer to "this-is-me98", but since you guys don't know my name, I guess I'll have to get used to it. Well, anyway, the key is located in the light fixture in the bedroom. It doesn't really matter who finds it, but I do agree that the people who kidnapped us should play some role, but I had planned it to be after we escaped the room.))

A few minutes had passed before someone had spoken. During that time, Lloyd moved his search from the living room to the bathroom, carefully inspecting the sink and the tub. Or, more specifically, the drain of the sink and tub. He could hear someone pace back and forth in the living room, and as he was searching around the showerhead, he heard Kaida speak.

"I know! Let's show these creeps that we won't fall into their scheme and break free, then hunt them down and beat them!!"

"I think, right now, it would be best if we stuck to one thing at a time. I don't believe switching the game on them would help us any," Bill said. Though he didn't say it, Lloyd agreed wholeheartedly with what he said. He then heard a chair drag across the ground, and footsteps stepping ontop of it.

Lloyd stopped his search in the bathroom and simply stood in the middle, thinking exactly where the key could be. His thoughts started to zero in on a single idea. Maybe, he thought, we're looking in the wrong place... Well, not the wrong place, but the wrong angle. Maybe the key isn't near the floor, but near the ceiling. His eyes shot toward whoever was standing on the chair to the bathroom's ceiling. Of course! he thought to himself.

"Hey, Bill's got the right idea! The key is above us!" he exclaimed to everyone, quickly exiting the bathroom to stand next to Bill.

Standing up in a hury Kaida ran up to Bill and Lloyd, " alright". she said hopeing they would find the key soon. Kaida grabbed another chair and searched the kitchen ceiling.

((OOC: I think that is a good idea to wait till we get out of the room. Will there be any traps for the characters to go through? P.S. I wont be on for awhile, having family difficulties and stuff so it will be awhile before i get back on.))

Aiden walked back into the bedroom and flopped back onto the bed.
She stared up at the celing lost in thought when suddenly something caught her eye.
She squinted her eyes and looked up the translucent glass light cover in the middle of the ceiling.
there was a little shadow in it, and ir made the shape of...a Key!
Aiden's eyes lite up as she jumped up on the bed and reached up and easily unscrewed the glass covering since the person who fixed it, did it poorly.
Aiden stated at the little Metal Key in the bowl shape light covering.
She beamned with Happiness and releif.
"Hey guys, i think I found it!" she yelled.

Tarja stopped what she was doing. Several more wrist shakes later, the lock slid and the it came undone. Tarja chuckled lightly. She was loosing her touch. . . she was late.

Aiden ran into the living toom to see that Tarja Already Accomplished the door.
"aahhh well the search was a waste." She said Slumping her shoulders.
"thats cool though" she added with a Giddy smile

Climbing down the chair Bill went over to Aiden. " Good job." Bill tehn walked over to Lloyde " so what happens now, there might be a trap behind this door." Without thinking Bill decided to go first through the door before anyone else would go through. " I will go out first when we are reading to leave the room."

Aiden gave a big smile "thank you" she said as she walked over by the door, "I wanna leave as soon as possible" The closer she moved to the door the more she became nervous, she trembled as he stood infront of it, stareing at the knob.
She could just picture something on the otherside waiting for the door to open.
She bit her lip and looked to Bill.

Bill looked to Aiden, " don't worry I will be careful". Bill then turned the knob opening the door slightly, then stepped out to the next room. " Wait for my signal and I will let you know if i find anything". Bill walked slowly, knowing something wasn't right.

((OOC: It's all good ~Haruka~. Judging by the pace of the rp, I don't think we'll get too far ahead inbetween the times you're on. And, yes, there is a "trap" of sorts planned once the characters get out of the apartment and into the hall... which I guess is where we're at.))

Lloyd watched Aiden walk into the bedroom and lay on the bed. He turned his attention back to Bill, looking up at the ceiling near where he was searching. Then, he heard Aiden.

"Hey, guys, I think I found it!"

Lloyd looked at her again. She was looking at something on the ceiling, and as Lloyd followed her gaze, his eyes hit the light fixture above the bed. So that's where it is! Lloyd thought. I didn't think it'd be placed there! He started to walk toward the room when he heard a small click, and his head shot toward the door. Tarja had successfully picked the lock. That was also unexpected, Lloyd thought.

"Aahhh well the search was a waste," she said as Lloyd directed his gaze back to her. "That's cool though," she added with a smile.

"Good job!" Bill said to Aiden. He jumped down from the chair and walked toward Lloyd.

"Thank you," Aiden said with a smile, walking toward the door. "I wanna leave as soon as possible!" As she got closer to the door, her body started to visibly shake, her eyes set on the door. She bit her lip and looked at Bill. Lloyd decided against attempting to calm her down. She'll have to learn how to surpress it by herself, he told himself.

"... So, what happens now? There might be a trap behind this door."

"Well, we won't know if there is one unless we go through," Lloyd responded. A few moments passed before the silence was broken.

"I will go out first when we are ready to leave the room!" Bill declared.

"You're not thinking this through, are you?" Lloyd asked Bill. "Well, regardless, someone has to go through first. Way to volunteer," he said, giving Bill the thumbs-up.

Bill looked at Aiden and said reassuringly, "Don't worry, I will be careful."

"Wait a minute," Lloyd said, turning and entering the bedroom. He looked at the light fixture and then the bed. He jumped off the foot of the bed, up toward the light, and threw a kick toward the fixture. A loud crack resonated throughout the apartment, and shards of the fixture were sent flying around the room. Lloyd easily spotted the gloden paint of the key and picked it up. He returned to the other room.

"We might need this," he said, putting the key in his pocket. "Resume."

Bill turned the knob and opened the door slightly. Nothing. He then stepped out into the next room.

"Wait for my signal and I will let you know if I find anything," he said. He walked slowly, examining the hallway. Finally, someone's taking charge, Lloyd thought to himself. Glad it's not me! My leadership sucks!

He watched Bill examine the hallway. His hand made a motion, and Lloyd wondered if that was the signal. Maybe that was. He didn't specify what the signal was... I think I'll just... Lloyd thought, taking a step out of the room. He looked to his right and saw a spraybottle on a stool, facing him. Bill had missed the tripwire completely by stepping over it, but Lloyd had walked out of the room from a further position, stepping right on it.

"$HIT!!" Lloyd yelled as a spray of the clear liquid sprayed at his face. His arms shot up, but he did not react fast enough. The liquid covered his entire face. He kept his eyes and mouth shut tightly as his back slid down the door, making sure to hold his breath incase he might inhale some of whatever the liquid was.

Turning fast Bill watched as Lloyd got sprayed. Grabbing the bandana from his pocket Bill went over to Lloyd, " stay calm, let my wipe the stuff off your face." Bill began to get the sprayed stuff off of Llyd, hoping it wasn't to lethal. Getting the last bit of the stuff off, Bill examined Lloyd, wondering if there was any damage.

Lloyd kept his eyes shut tight, but he still heard Bill approach. He lowered his arms, away from his face.

"Stay calm. Let me wipe the stuff off your face," Bill said, wiping some kind of cloth on Lloyd's face. Lloyd felt the liquid come off, and when Bill was done, Lloyd opened his eyes.

Lloyd could feel something on his face. He licked his lips, and was surprised to taste something sweet.

"Is that... grape juice?" Lloyd said, looking directly at the spraybottle. "White grape juice? What the h#ll?"

Lloyd then heard something above the ceiling move. His gaze shot toward the sound, and he saw a ceiling tile move. Someone from above had then pushed what looked like a large black box toward the hole, and judging by how slow it was being moved, it was fairly heavy. Lloyd then realized that the opening was right above Bill.

"MOVE!" Lloyd shouted, grabbing Bill's left shoulder and throwing him away, replacing Bill's body with his own. The box fell and slammed into Lloyd's back, causing him to crash to the ground. However, the box seemed to be suspended by a wooden board attached to some rope, suspending it over Lloyd.

"Ow!" Lloyd groaned, slowly getting to his hands and knees. He forced himself to his feet and looked directly at the hole, hearing footsteps get further and further away. "GET BACK HERE, YOU B@$TARD!" Lloyd shouted, but the person was already gone.

"Tch!" Lloyd sneered through clenched teeth. He turned to Bill. "You okay?" He asked him. He then turned to the black box. Lloyd immediately knew what it was. "A... T.V.?"

Lloyd slowly put his finger on the power button. He waited for someone to say something before turning the T.V. on.

Aiden stood and stared, wide eyed the entire time from the Door entrance.
She kept herself from hyperventalateing as she watched the events take place.
She moved by Bill and Loyed and looked at the screen.
"I think someone has something to tell us" she said as she looked to one of them to push the button.

BIll jumped out of the way, " yeah I am fine." Bill then looked to Lloyd and Aiden and Tarja and Kaida. " will someone please give me a boost, I am going after the creep."

"Dieu . . . sacré!" Tarja yelled after being scared for Lloyd and how the T.V crashed down.

She wasnt loosing her cool, she was just vocalizing how crazy this situation was. . . quite literally.

"Maledizione del dio esso! Quel bastardo! Chiunque è!" she shouted, speaking with her hands as she paced in a line.

Tarja had a tendancy to speak in several different languages when she was trying to say something. Her native homeland wasnt here, so it was dificult to tell when she was speaking English and when she wasnt. Someone had to tell her since the languages she spoke were as natural to her as English.

Aidens Eyes widened as Tarja went into a Foreign Rant.
"um Tarja...English?" She asked as she scratched the back of her head Nervously.
Her whole body trembled, she wondered what awaited down the Hall.

Tears slid down Kaida's cheeck as the incedents happened, this wasn't what she expected. " I don' think it is wise to go after the creep, they might be wanting you to do that so they can kill you." " what did you say Tarja?" Kaida asked after Aiden asked Tarja to speak english. She started walking ahead of the group. Beneath her the floor gave out sending her through a tunnel before the floor trap closed tightly shut.

Aiden gave a scream as she watched Kaida Disappear into the floor.
She She ran over sliding on her knees to the spot where she fell.
Her knees Burned but she ignored it.
Aiden Banged on the floor.
"NOO KAIDA!"
She screamned as she pounded her fist against the tightly sealed floor.
"KAIDA ARE U OK DOWN THERE??!! KAIDA!"

Kaida hit the basement floor, hearing the scream faintly. " HELLO" she yelled, hopeing someone could hear her. More tears slid down her face as she tried getting up from the floor of the darkened room. Stumbling around she tried searching for a wall. As Kaida wandered the darkened room, her foot hit something cold, like metal. Carefully getting on her knees and hands she grabbed the strange metal object, feeling it was a gun.

"Grape Juice, great these creeps are definatley messed up. I understand that Kaida, but someone must go...." Bill whipped around just in time to see Kaida dissappear beneath the floor and Aiden skidding to a stop where Kaida fell. "No one move." It was meant as a command, he didn't want the others to be split up also. Going over to Aiden, he picked her up in his arms taking her back to where the others were. "We will worry about her later, right now we must stick together. Tarja, Lloyd and Aiden, we need a plan on how to get further down the hallway without us being split up, any ideas?" He was begining to lose his cool, and he didn't want to scare the others if he ever did lose his cool. Whenever he lost his cool he got very violent.

Lloyd kept his finger on the power button of the TV. Everything swilred around him too fast, too many things happened way sooner than he had expected things to. Tarja was going on a rant in another language, and Kaida seemed to have fallen through the floor. Everything Lloyd had anticipated to happen came all at once, adding to the list of things that had caught him off guard when he had gotten there.

"... her later, right now we must stick together. Tarja, Lloyd and Aiden, we need a plan on how to get further down the hallway without us being split up, any ideas?" he heard Bill ask.

"I have... one idea..." Lloyd said, putting pressure on the button. The screen turned on, showing a violent 'snowstorm' before someone appeared on the screen. The face was covered in shadow, and the voice was masked, but the posture and outline of the body indicated that the person was male.

"Hello," the image said, "it's a pleasure to meet you. If you're viewing this, then I can congradulate you on leaving the room. You would've made extremely poor sports if you had died in there." The man then gave a chilling laugh before resuming. "However, as you already know, there should be at least one person missing. If you are not entirely incompetent, then when you leave this building you should have full numbers again. I do hope you all will have as much fun as I will."

There was a long pause after, and it seemed as though the video either froze or had ended, but the figure spoke again.

"In case you were wondering, this is a game. A survival game, if you will. And I believe you'll find the ending of this game to be most satisfactory. At least, it will be for me. Now, before you start your 'fun', I would like to say that there's traps laid throughout this building, just to make things more interesting. If any of you die before leaving, then it was a mistake on my part to overestimate your abilities. You'll see me again once you leave this building. And, if I may make a suggestion? Take a left instead of a right. Your missing person isn't going anywhere, and if you're smart, you'll at least follow your own kidnapper's advice. But do hurry. Who knows what your missing person might find, or do, while seperated. Now, have fun!:D " Then, the screen went black.

Lloyd looked at the screen, trying to remain calm assess whether or not what the person said should be followed. He turned to the others.

"We basically have only two choices. Left? Or right?"

Bill kicked the T.V. before looking at the options, follow his command or go right. " I believe we should go left, but lets watch out for traps. What does he mean by what Kaida might find or do?" oh god having the feeling she might try something dangerouse to herself or one of them.

Tarja panted, feeling a bit better after her rant. Aidan's eyes had widened.

"um Tarja...English?" She asked as she scratched the back of her head Nervously.

"Mon mauvais. . . Oopse, my bad." she said, rubbing the back of her head. Tarja blushed. Tarja heard her name and turned to Kaida only to see her fall through the floor and Aidan having an emotional outburst at it. It hurt Tarja's ears to be honest. . .

"We will worry about her later, right now we must stick together. Tarja, Lloyd and Aiden, we need a plan on how to get further down the hallway without us being split up, any ideas?"

"She'll be alright. We, on the other hand, have to focus on the here and now and figure out a way to survive and get out with all of us alive and in reletivly one piece." she said, smiling softly. Just then, Tarja grinned.

"I have an idea," she said, but suddenly got down on one knee and bowed her head, letting her hair fall over her face.

"Svp, svp entendez-moi. Laissé de ce que j'ai besoin pour être ici, svp." she begged her god, Gaia, before getting up and looking around the apartment like place.

Aiden Fought against Bill out of Panic fear. She quickly stopped and rested her head on his shoulder before turning to the tV.

When the video was over, Aiden almost felt she was going to throw up.
She looked to Tarja, she was extremely strong and handled this situation very well. Aiden looked down at herself, She seemned very weak at the moment.
She bit her lip and looked Left.
Then looked right.
"I would pull a scooby doo and say split up, but Im thinking thats extremely stupid." She mumbled to herself.
She watched Tarja bend down and began to what seemned like pray to some god.
Aiden shook her head.
'I dont know what God Shes praying to but I only know one that will get us out of this mess'
She thought as she reached up to the small cross neckalce she wore around her neck.

A light flickered on in the darkened basement, Kaida let out a scream of fright before realizing that there was a shadow wathing her from a glass wall. taking the gun she found six rounds, to scared to shoot she placed the gun in her pocket on safety of course. The shadow moved and disappeared, Kaida followed till she couldn't go any further, there was a note on the glass wall. "Your friends are fine, but you my dear have to fight, use the gun only if need be, but don't shoot the wrong person."
Tearing the note up Kaida looked to the locked door to her right, then looked around for a key.

Bill smiled as Tarja patted him on the shoulder," thanks Tarja I am sure you are right, she is a fighter." He then watched as both Tarja and Aiden prayed. strange. He thought as he turned left, seeing nothing but a door at the end of the hall. Then he turned around and looked down to the right, still nothing but a door. " I will go right and check things out, wait till i come back, if i don't return then hopefully the rest of you can make it out."

After a few minutes of Contemplation, Aiden Hadnt heard What Bill said and decided to make a desicion. "Left.." She said soflty as she turned left, She took only a few Steps into the Hallway.
From what she could see the Hallway looked fine, Normal.
She took a deep breath and took a few more steps down the Hallway.
Almost Immediately She heard what sounded like Metal Clicking something into place, like a lock.
It was the wall beside her.
Suddenly a secret door opened and 2 Big Savage Dogs Raced out of there, Aiden Screamned, mostly out of Shock as one dog leaped up and took her to the floor, Aiden Raised her arm in the defense and the dog latched on and began swining her arm like it was a rag Doll, Pain Shot up her arm and Shoulder, She cried out in pain as she tried to get the dog to release her.

Almost Immediately She heard what sounded like Metal Clicking something into place, like a lock.
It was the wall beside her.
Suddenly a secret door opened and 2 Big Savage Dogs Raced out of there, Aiden Screamned, mostly out of Shock as one dog leaped up and took her to the floor, Aiden Raised her arm in the defense and the dog latched on and began swining her arm like it was a rag Doll, Pain Shot up her arm and Shoulder, She cried out in pain as she tried to get the dog to release her.

Running back towards the left Bill looked at the two dogs. One dog was still loose, the other attached itself to Aidens arm. Kicking the dog that had Aidens arm in the head, it let loose with a snarl. Both dogs then turned themselves upon him. " Run Aiden, all of you go right, and wait there for me."

Lloyd's mind was miles away from everyone else. He had paid no attention to what anyone said, for he was too deep in his own thoughts. Go left? Or go right? he thought to himself. I'm no leader, but I sure as h#ll won't follow the orders of someone who 'kidnapped' us! Lloyd quickly glanced to the left and right, seeing nothing but ordinary hallway. There has to be a reason as to why the guy wants us to go left. But what? If the aim of this is merely a 'survival game', then why would he help us? Unless he's... not!

"... Left..." he heard someone whisper softly. It was so quiet that he almost didn't hear it. His head snapped toward where the voice came from, and he saw Aiden take small steps toward the left.

"NO, DON'T!" he shouted, taking a couple of hasty steps toward her at almost the exact moment the wall beside her opened. Two raved dogs came hurling out of the opening, one setting its sight on Aiden, leaping at her and crunching it's teeth into her arm. She let out an earsplitting shout as the dog began to violently shake its head.

The other dog set its sights on Lloyd. It started to slowly circle him, snarling and baring its teeth. Lloyd took steady, slow breaths, trying to keep his heartbeat normal and stay away from a paniced state. He seperated his legs slightly and brought his fingers together, straightening them in the form of a spearhead. The dog pounced at him, its teeth ready to sink into Lloyd's flesh. Lloyd dodged and attacked the dog's left side. As he thrust his left hand forward, making contact with the outer edge of his hand, he felt someone run past him toward Aiden. He had no time to look to see who it was. When his left hand made contact, his right hand was over his head, ready for its attack.

The dog was still in the air when his right hand slammed down on the dogs back, sending it twisting toward the wall. Lloyd looked over to see who had run past him; Bill had kicked the other dog in the head, forcing it to release its grip on Aiden's arm. The dog rolled back, but was instantly on its feet, growling and snarling. Lloyd looked back at the dog he sent flying into the wall, and that one was also on its feet.

"So, it's true. Never trap a hungry animal," Lloyd said, refering to the small room where the dogs came charging out of.

"Run Aiden! All of you go right, and wait there for me!" Bill commanded, bringing Aiden to her feet.

Lloyd grabbed Aiden's non-injured arm and ran toward the end of the right hallway. As he went, he grabbed Tarja with his free arm and went on an allout sprint. Though the room everyone was in was a great distance away from both ends of the hallway, Lloyd was able to make it to the door in less than three seconds. Tch. Slower than ususal! Lloyd thought, but I guess that makes sense. Lloyd looked back and saw the two dogs run at Bill. What's he thinking? Lloyd thought.

He turned to the door and tried to push it open, but it didn't move. He then swung it towards him and motioned Aiden and Tarja to go first. Weird... don't doors usually swing away from the person who opens it? He looked back over at Bill, who was now confronting the two dogs.

Bill watched as the other three ran right, " go on ahead without me" he yelled towards them, as the dogs advanced upon him. He looked to the dogs, both snarling, he stared them in the eyes. no dog will survive. He watched as one dog leaped forward, taking the dagger safely hidden under his shirt he ducked, holding the dagger up, slicing the belly of the dog. The second dog lept only to not make its target, as bill jumped up and behind the dog, gabbing it and slitting its throat.
Bill wiped the blood on his shirt, then took it off and through it down, not wanting the others to see what he had done.

Aide nbarely had time to Gasp as she was on her feet again and running down the right.
She was in shock as she looked down at her arm, it was all sticky from Dog Spit and her blood.
She fought back tears as She Broke out in a cold sweat. The pain Surged and throbbed up her arm.
She looked up to See Lloyed open a door and usher for them to go first.
Aiden looked back at her arm and shook her head.
"uh-uh" She whimpered softly.

As Lloyd swung the door open, he heard Bill yell,

"Go on ahead without me!"

As Aiden and Tarja went through the door, Lloyd hesitated and looked back, hiding his body behind the door so that the Tarja and Aiden couldn't see his face. Bill had just sliced one of the dogs bellies open with a knife and was behind the other, slicing its throat. Lloyd smiled, then turned to go through the doorway down the stairs before Bill had finished cutting the dogs throat, wiping his smile off before turning away. D@mn it! Bloodlust! Not now!! he thought.

Lloyd took a look at Aiden's arm. It was bleeding profusely, though he couldn't accurately assess the damage due to the amount of blood.

"At least it wasn't a human bite," Lloyd said as the three of them went down the stairs, fighting his own urge while attempting to make the situation more optimistic. "If it was, your arm would definately become infected." He waited a second before adding, "Though, we still need to treat that when we get out of here."

Placing the dagger back into its sheath, Bill silently followed keeping as far away from the other three, but still close enough to watch over them. calm down, just breath in and out, stay calm, it is over now. he tried telling himself as he walked closer to the others, wiping some of the dogs blood from his hand, then looked to Lloyd and Aiden. Ripping part of the bottom of his jeans into peices and began to wrap Aidens arm. " Stay calm, as soon as we find Kaida and get out of here we will rush you to the doctors. I know First Aid, but I don't have the equipment needed." hopefuly Kaida does. he thought as he continued to walk ahead of the others.

Taking the gun in hand she loaded it into place, then shot the lock off. Screaming from the loud bang Kaida dropped the gun, scared to use it again. Before opening the door Kaida found a small bag, not knowing what was inside, she took the bag and went out the door. left or right? as she stayed with the right pathway down the hall. Hearing noises further down the hall, she began to run closer, hoping that it was the others. Turning the corner she ran into Bill head on, falling to the floor.

Aiden Nodded as Bill Finished wrapping her arm.
She gave a small Gasp as he etched Kaida run Smack into Bill.
"Kaida!" She exclaimned Happily, yet Quietly.
She stopped and looked around.
"why was it so easy to get to you..." She said softly.
Then as if on command or something, she heard another soft click
Aiden's eyes darted aound the room as Panic began to set in again.
She then heard a loud deep Rolling sound.
She gave a small scream as the walls on either side of them began to close in.

ah hell Kaida tripped the line Bill said to himself. He grabbed Kaida, Aiden,Tarja and Lloyd and headed in the direction Kaida came from locking themselves into the basement. " D@mit Kaida" he yelled, still under pressure of killing the dogs. Mummbling to himself he cursed a million or what seemed like a million words. Now in the basement Bill looked around seeing no way out except through the glass wall. Seeing the gun Kaida had dropped he picked it up, placing it into his pocket. now what?

Aiden walked over to the Glass wall and touched it, careful not to trip anything.
"cant we break this glass?"

" We can try but not sure if it is bullet proof, and we don't know what is behind the glass. There must be another way out." Bill began to pace the floor, cooling down to think. what to do, god i don't know. wait how did she get out so easily "Kaida how did you get out, besides triggering the trap." Bill looked at all of them, begining to wonder what exactly this person wanted from them besides a game.

Aiden nodded, She looked around for another door, some other way out.
She looked up.
There was a small sunroof, what appeared to be big enough for her to fir through.
"how about that way?" She asked pointing up.
"is there a way for me to get to that?" She said looking around for something to stand on.

" I shot the lock off, but I didn't mean to trigger the trap." Kaida said as they looked aroun.
Kaida then looked to where Aiden spoke of. " I can give you a boost." She walked over to Aiden then thought again, " maybe we should wait, what if there is a trap up there?"

Aiden thought for a second.
"well mabey but I dont see anyother way...if anything" She brought her voice down to a whisper.
"if anything, they might be up there themselves" She said raisieng an eyebrow as she returned her gaze to the Sunroof.

BIll tilted his head, barely hearing what Aiden said, as he picked her up, "just be carefull". He handed Aiden the gun which was already loaded, he decided to ignore what Kaida said and thought Aiden might be right, they could be up there watching them.

Aiden nodded as she was hoisted up.
She Grabbed the gun and placed it in the back of her shorts.
She raised her hands and found it was pretty easy to pusdh the glass up and out of place.
She grabbed onto the edges and pulled herself up until she was standing on bills Shoulders and peeking over the Edge.
Aiden's eyes widened as sge looked oever to see A tv.
She pulled herself up onto the roof, and looked back down at them.
"I may be able to pull Kaida up, and Maybe Tarja but I cant lift you or lloud."

Kaida nodded as she walked over to Bill, "Can you give me a boost?" As she waited to see what they were going to do. " What did you find up there Aiden?"

Aiden looked down, at them. "Another Tv..." She said Nervously a she kept looking around for someone on the roof. All there was though, was the Tv.

Picking Kaida up he lifted her to Aidens reach. " Be careful both of you." Bill then walked over to Tarja, picked her up and let her climb to the roof with the other girls. " Want to go next Lloyd?"

The incident with the dogs left Lloyd deep in thought. Everything that happened around him didn't seem to affect him, and his mind was wandering in a very far away place. Everything's happening... way too fast! he thought to himself. Even though this whole situation is fairly complex, it seems as though everything had absolutely no preparation done prior.

Before he knew it, he was in the basement of the apartment. Kaida had appearantly rejoined the group, and Aiden was in a room above, accessed by a hole above.

"How's we get here?" Lloyd asked himself very quietly, so that no one could hear him. He looked around the room and saw boxes against the walls, and, strangely, a glass wall. Looking up, he saw beams. A pretty typical basement.

"Can you give me a boost?" he heard Kaida ask Bill. Her next question was directed toward Aiden.

"What did you find up there, Aiden?"

"Another TV," he heard Aiden respond.

Lloyd turned his attention from the room to Kaida. He saw Bill lift her up and Kaida working her way through the hole.

"Be careful, both of you," Bill said to the two. Then he hoisted Tarja up, lifting her into the room above. "Want to go next Lloyd?"

"Does that question really need an answer?" Lloyd responded, looking up at the beams. "I'll jump, you throw."

He stepped forward and placed his left foot into the Bill's hands. Once he felt Bill begin to push himself up, he jumped with his right foot. Lloyd was thrown up toward the hole, reaching up to grab the other side. His hands held the edge, and he was a good three feet above Bill. Lloyd looked to his left and right and saw beams parallel with each other. Lloyd did the splits, supporting his body with his legs while they pushed against the beams. Then he leaned forward, extending his hand toward Bill.

"This time, you jump and I'll throw."

As the others climbed up Aiden walked over to the tv, She walked around it to make sure it was safe.
it was just a battery Powered Tv in the middle of he room.
She shrugged and waited beside it for the others.

Bill jumped grabbing Lloyds hand and braced himself on the beams, finally making it up to the others. " lets see what they have to say."

Kaida watched as everyone met on the sun roof, and watched hoping it would get them closer to getting out without anyone getting hurt. " what if it is bad news? what if we never get out?"

Aiden looked to Kaida. "dont worry, we WILL Get out" She said trying to Keep the Hope Alive.

" thank you" kaida said to Aiden. " so who wants to hear what they have to say?" she smiled as she waited for someone to turn the t.v. on. She sat next to Bill as she looked around the room they were in.

Lloyd prepared his body as Bill grabbed his hands. Pulling while he jumped, Bill easily made his way through the hole and into the upper room. As Lloyd lifted himself up into the room, the others were conversing amongst themselves.

"Let's see what they have to say," Bill said.

"What if it is bad news? What if we never get out?" Kaida asked. Lloyd hoped that panic would not set itself in another situation.

"Bad news? Have we had any good news?" Lloyd replied. He was now sitting at the edge of the hole, his legs dangling down.

"Don't worry, we WILL get out! Aiden said to Kaida. Well, it's good to know that someone is trying to keep hope alive, Lloyd thought to himself.

"Thank you," Kaida replied to Aiden. "So, who wants to hear what they have to say?"

Lloyd got up and walked toward the TV. "I'll do it."

He pressed the power button, and again the snowstorm appeared. A few seconds later, the same figure from the previous tape was on the screen.

"Well, looky here! It would seem that, since this specific TV is on, that you people have made your way into the room above the basement! Well done!" He then gave a short, chilling laugh. "I must say, though, I didn't expect you to heed my advice! To think, if you had just went right nothing would've happened. But you just had to experience the dogs! How were they? Friendly?" Another chilling laugh. "Believe it or not, they were from my personal estate! I might have to charge you for any damage you caused them! But, to be more serious, since you are in the room above the basement, you just have a little further to go before you leave this building. I hope you make the right choice. There are, again, two choices. As you must be aware, the room below has a glass wall. The first choice is to break the wall. I assure you, it's not bullet proof, so the gun that was left there should be sufficent. Once the wall is broken, there will be a set of stairs. Go up it, and you'll come to a door that, when opened, leads outside. Sounds easy, right? Or is it?" The figure paused, either to let the information sink in or to add effect to the situation. "The other way is to continue through this room. There a few twists and turns, but you should be able to get to the door at the end. Open it, and climb the ladder. Keep climbing until you get to the top. Once you reach there, another set of instructions will be waiting for you. As always, don't die, and have fun!"

The screen then went black, and the snowstorm resumed.

Kaida began to laugh, not realy sure what she was laughing at, just a nervouse laugh. " Are there still bullets in the gun left to get us out?" Kaida got up and looked at the jump down, i rather just stay up here, but then again the stairs might be easier. she thought as she chose her path.

Aiden Cringed at the Dog Comment. Her Arm continued to Throb. She Checked the Bullets. "there is only one missing, so we should be good" She said slipping it back into the back of her jeans.
She looked down the hole.
"well Which one. Fast and Dangerous way out or Long and more or less Dangerous way out... the other way has another Message..." She mumbled.

As soon as the tape stopped playing, Lloyd heard someone begin to laugh. It wasn't a typical 'that is so funny' laugh, but more of a 'nervous and panic' type of laugh. What was even more surprising for Lloyd was that when he turned to look, it happened to be Kaida.

"Are there still bullets in the gun left to get us out?" Kaida asked after she had stopped laughing.

"There is only one missing, so we should be good," Aiden replied, checking the gun's cartridge and putting the gun into the back of her jeans. She walked over and looked down the hole. "Well, which one. Fast-and-dangerous-way-out or long-and-more-or-less-dangerous-way-out... The other way has another message..."

"True, the ladder exit does have another message," Lloyd began, "but it requires everyone to form a straight line. Seems to me like it's a trap." Lloyd reached into his pocket and pulled out a 50 cent piece. He began rolling it on his fingers.

"... I think," he said after a brief pause, "that one person should go up the ladder, while the rest go through the glass wall. That way, if the ladder is a trap, only one person dies." He paused again, thinking deeply as he was rolling the coin through his fingers. "... That does sound pretty bad... But I think it's the best bet... If no one volunteers, or if no one has a better idea, I'll do it."

Kaida looked around, it was time for her to do something, to take the lead. " I will go up the ladder." Kaida then got up and started walking down the hall looking for the ladder. Not stopping to hear any protests she continued till she found the ladder. The others were out of site and hearing, but she knew she had to be brave. Grabbing the ladder she began to climb, trying to get over her fear of heights. one step at a time, you can do this, it is for the others.

Bill went to grab Kaida's arm but it was to late, she had already left down the hallway. Bill cursed under his breath, why would she take such a risk? "Should we go ahead?" Bill then jumped back down into the basement, looking at the glass. " Aiden can you throw down the gun, then i will help you, Tarja, and Lloyd down."

Lloyd has turned his attention away from the TV and stood near the hole. He looked down it, trying to see if there were any traps that he could catch at this new angle. It is possible that the ladder could be a trap, but it's also possible that it's just a ruse to make us go through the glass wall, he thought. Which way? It's hard to tell...

He was so deep in thought that he didn't notice Kaida walk down the hall toward the ladder. It wasn't until Bill made a sudden movement that he caught out of the corner of his eye that he was brought back from his thoughts.

"Kaida... went to the ladder..." Lloyd said to no one in particular. A few moments of silence passed before someone spoke.

"Should we go ahead?" Bill asked, jumping through the hole and landing in the basement below. "Aiden, can you throw down the gun? Then I will help you, Tarja, and Lloyd down."

"No thanks," Lloyd replied down the hole. "I'm going after Kaida!"

With that, he sprinted down the hallway. As the guy said, there were a lot of twists and turns, but nothing that resembled a trap. Maybe I was over thinking... he thought to himself.

He kept running until he could see a figure infront of a red rectangle. As he got closer, the figure began to slowly climb the rectangle. Soon, the figure took on a form, as well as the rectangle. Kaida was slowly making her way up the ladder, taking each step cautiously. Lloyd sprinted toward the base of the ladder, coming to a sudden halt.

"Hey! Kaida! What're you doing!?" he asked her. She was only about ten steps up the ladder when he arrived. "Come down! You don't have to force yourself to do anything brave!"

Kaida stopped and looked down, getting dizzy from the height. "someone must try the ladder, so far everyone else has been injured, and nothing bad happened to me except falling into the basement in the begin with." Kaida then began to climb more, a cold sweat building as she climbed higher. I have to prove im strong. "If you want you can come with, the other two should be fine, right?"

"Someone must try the ladder. So far, everyone else has been injured, and nothing bad happened to me except falling into the basement," Kaida said, looking down at Lloyd. "If you want you can come with, the other two should be fine, right?" she said, resuming her slow climb.

"Well, I'm not injured, and neither is Bill or Tarja. And the only thing bad that's happened has happened to Aiden and me," Lloyd responded. He kept looking at her, watching how slowly she was climbing the ladder. "Well, they're probably far ahead of us now. I guess I'll join you." He decided to climb the ladder after her, saying to himself She's either strong willed or stubborn. Either way, I think she's gotten her point across.

After he started climbing, he was only a couple steps below her, and was probably about 13 steps above the ground. "Well, anyway," he put in, "you don't look like you do well with heights. Why don't... you... just..."

Lloyd started to trail off when he caught a glimpse of something above them. It looked like it was falling from a far distance, but he couldn't make out what it was. After a few moments, the image began to fall faster, and then it took form; metal spikes were falling toward them, crushing the ladder as it fell.

"Kaida, get down, NOW!" Lloyd commanded. He turned himself over and slid down the ladder, his feet on either side to control the speed. When he landed on the ground, he turned and looked up at Kaida. "Jump, I'll catch you! Trust me!!"

Kaida looked up, then down to Lloyd. With a scream Kaida jumped down hoping that the spikes wouldn't catch up as fast as they were moving. She would admit she was stubborn, but it was her only way of getting over her fears.

Kaida looked up at the oncoming spikes, then down to Lloyd. With a scream, she pushed herself off of the ladder, the spikes descending at a faster and faster rate. Good, she jumped! Lloyd thought to himself, his arms outstretched and ready to catch Kaida. As Kaid fell toward him, Lloyd wrapped his arms around her, twisting his body and bending his knees to cushion her fall.

He looked back up at the spikes, now only some twenty feet away from him, bits of the ladder falling and slicing at his face. The spikes are going too fast! Both of us can't get out in time! Making a hasty decision, he threw Kaida away from him and into the hall. He looked at her, then back at the spikes before they crashed down on him.

As everything settled, a small note floated down, landing on the metal platform that supported the spikes. It read:

I can't believe you fell for such an obvious trap! How does it feel? Does it hurt?

((OOC: No, he's not dead. It just seems like he is.))

Kaida let out an ear shattering scream as she was thrown down the hall. " LLOYD" she screamed as she went to his side cradeling his head in her amrs. "Lloyd?" Tears began to race down her cheeks as she saw the note. "DAMN YOU" she yelled to those that had put them in this position in the first place.

Bill helped Aiden down into the basement, taking the gun from Aidens back pocket, Bill shot the gun, "get down." he ordered as glass shattered across the room. Bill covered Aidens body with his own as glass shards sliced into his skin.

Aiden was Confused she heard Kaida Scream but right as She was about to Yell for her Bill was on top of her and glass was Flying.
Aiden closed her eyes as she felt small Peices of Glass hit her face leaving small stinging Spots.
She opened her eyes just barely to see Bill Over her, From what she could see His shoulders were bleeding alittle Bit.
"Bill...Are you ok...?" She Whispered.

" I'm fine thank you." Bill stood up and offered his hand to AIden to help her up. Bill had heard the scream, but wasn't sure what he or Aiden could do. " should we continue up the stairs, I will go first." Not wanting Aiden to get hurt.

"I uh," She gaped looking back to where the scream came from. "are we just going to leave them?" She asked her head spinning.

Bill knew what she meant, if something bad happened then leaving them would be wrong. "Let me give you a boost, but don't go anywhere till i get up there, then we can go check on them." BIll knew their only way out was to survive but what happenes if someone dies? if one of us dies im going after the creeps who put us here and show them real pain. he thought to himself.

Aiden nodded. She climbed onto the first few Steps. and waited. She looked around Paranoid that anything could happen at any minute.
On top of that she could'nt shake the feeling of someone watching her.
a shiver ran down her spine as She heard sound of a latche behind her, Her stomache leaped as suddenly a hand wrapped around her mouth and waist, pulling her into the wall, She only had time to hang onto the edge for a few seconds before disappearing behind the wall.

Bill reached for Aiden but it was to late, they already had her. Then the floor of the stairs gave way, falling further down into another basement full of ice cold water. Landing in the water the walls began to move, Bill didn't have time before he was washed down a drain into another part of the building.

Lloyd looked at Kaida, glad that she was safe. He only had moments before the spikes crashed down on him, and he used that time to look back at them, pulling out his 50c piece. He only had enough time to roll it on his index and middle finger.

The spikes were thin, and only nine had been welded onto the metal platform; only three had pierced him. There were spikes in his left and right shoulders, and the third had buried itself in his hand. Once the spikes pierced through him, he felt strangely warm. It was as if he were in a heated indoor swimming pool, though all he could see was darkness. It seemed like he was there for an eternity. Then, the warmth seemed to turn to ice.

"DAMN YOU!!!" he heard a voice say in the distance.

His body started to lift off the ground. A chain was connected to the metal platform and was lifting the spikes back up. Lloyd was carried a few feet off the ground before his body slid off the metal. He landed hard on the ground, his head hitting Kaida's lap.

"AHHH!" he screamed, coughing up blood. As the spikes were being lifted, one of them looked curved. If that spike had pierced him, it would've snapped his spine, and Lloyd would be dead. As the spikes ascended further and further, a severly mangled 50c piece fell and landed on Lloyd's back.

Aiden Gave Muffled Screams as she banged against the walls as she was drug down the Pitch black Hallway.
In her ear she could hear the man who held her Shushing her.
She ignored at as She raised her muffled screams abit higher.

Tears streaming down her face Kaida pulled Lloyd out of the way of the spikes that were now lifting into the air, afraid they would fall again. Getting Lloyd to safety she tor part of her shirt soaping up the blood he was coughing. what do i do, i dont have a first aid kit with me, that got left in the basement. she thought as sheheld Lloyd in her arms. " Don't you die on me." She commanded him, as she began to tear strips of her shirt and wraping them around the wounds.

Tarja, in being split up with the rest of the group, ran around in circles, or so it seemed. She fell through a trap and, in trying to grab the edges to catch herself, it slammed closed. The guy who was responsible for all of this knew all of them well. Expecially the way they function and fight. Tarja sighed, now sitting on a random, broken TV. It was freezing in there, yet Tarja had her coat off.

Maybe its because I've been running so hard. I wonder if the other's are alright. . . she thought.

Tarja sighed again, her breath coming out in a form of smoke. It was hard to take this so well and stay so calm but Tarja knew that she had to or else she'd die. And that wouldnt be too good. Not at all. Leaning back against the wall, after checking for any glass or other sharp items, she began to think of a way out of there.

Aiden Gave Muffled Screams as she banged against the walls as she was drug down the Pitch black Hallway.
In her ear she could hear the man who held her Shushing her.
She ignored at as She raised her muffled screams abit higher.



BIll could hear a muffled scream comeing from inside the walls. Mustering up his anger he punched a hole in the wall, which to his suprise was easy. Tearing the wall to bits and peices he went down the pathway between the walls, searching for Aiden and Tarja.

The man dragging her cursed a few Obscenities as they turned down a Hallway, Adien could just see Holes of light down the Hallway from where they just were.
Aiden Kicked and tried to pry the mans hand from her mouth.
"Bill!" She screamed but they were still Muffled from the Stranger's Grip.
"Shut up!" The man Growled Angerily in her ear as he wrapped his other arm around her neck tightly.
Aiden Struggled to breath as the man tried to Put her to sleep, She choked for Air as she became dizzy, the darkness Spinning around her.
"I'll F.ucking Kill you now u..mmfmmmfmm" She could'nt hear the last of his name calling as her nightmare world began to spin faster.

Tarja looked around, trying to recgonize where she was at. Tarja carried her coat with her, the goosebumps from the cold of the place she was at affecting her. But the strong, trained girl kept pushing herself forward, depsite the cold. Tarja sighed, her breath coming out in smoke, it being that cold. She growled to herself, realizing that she was totally and completely lost. Tarja took a breath.
"HELLOOOO!" she screamed at the top of her lungs.

While tending to Lloyds wounds, Kaida coould hear someone hollaring hello. Kaida got up looked to Lloyd then yelled, "HELLO" back to see if she could find were the other member was.

Tarja heared a faint yell back and she resorted to hitting a picece of brick on something.
"HELLO?!" she yelled again, getting agravated. It was cold, annoying and dark. And wet. Tarja felt the water on her skin and it wasnt doing anything to keep her warm either.

Aiden was regaining her strength all most all the way when She was pulled by Bill into, what seemned like a Freezer.
Aiden looked around seeing Tarja. "Are you ok" She asked softly wondering how long she was in here. Wondering how long she was in the predicament she was just in herself.
Aiden walked over to one wall, it was lined with Boxes, they all had Different Foriegn Languages printed on them.

Tarja, shivering and obviously tired, looked at them. She noticed that it was both Aidan and Bill.
"You're late," she playfully accused, smiling. She was just glad they were there!
"Are you okay?"
"Careful with those boxes," Tarja warned Aidan, standing up.
"They're dangerous," she informed, gently pulling her away.

Aiden nodded. "whats in them?" She asked.
She Gently,withought thinking rubbed the bruised hand marks around her neck. "we should go find Lloyd and kaida." She said Looking at the both of them, then we can keep going the way we were." She said.

Kaida walked back to Lloyd, who to her seemed dead, he wasn't even waking up. Kaida Finally went to look for the others, hoping she would find them.

" I think that is a good idea, we should go find Kaida and Lloyd."
Bill looked for a door as he walked around the room. The only way out that he could see was the way they came in.

Aiden nodded and turned to walk out the door. She stopped in the door way and poked her head out, it was clear. She turned and nooded to Bill and Tarja. She then took a few steps out the door, careful not to touch anything, she had been tricked too many times now. Her stomache turned as she made herself call for Kiada, it came out as a low mumble.

Bill stood between Tarja and Aiden as he started to walk down the hallway, everything seemed clear and safe so he continued, holding on to both Tarja and Aiden's hand so they would not get separated.

Tarja looked around as Bill held her hand. She held her coat in one hand and his in the other. Tarja was still cold and it was probably easy to tell, her skin was freezing. It seemed as if she didnt have any heat in her body at all.

Aiden gripped Bill's hand tighter as they made their way down the Hall, She worried about Kaida and Lloyed and what she may find.

((OOC: Well, I haven't been on this for a long while! For that, I apologize. I suppose I'll give my two cents before another long departure.))

Lloyd laid still, drifting in and out of consciousness. The simple act of breathing made pain shoot throughout his body. Those... b@sterds... he thought to himself. It felt like many years had passed before he could bring himself to stay awake, though his eyes remained closed.

He heard voices and footsteps, though both seemed to drift further and further away. The minute he could no longer hear the echo of the footsteps, his eyes shot open. Without moving his head, his eyes scanned the room. Good, Kaida's gone, he thought to himself. Fighting past the pain, he forced himself to sit up, his coin sliding off his back onto the floor.

"I think they overdid that one. I would've died if it wasn't for her," he said to himself, looking down the empty hall. "Well, there's still a lot of work to do."

Once again, he fought past the pain that shot through his body and forced himself onto his feet. He began to walk towards what remained of the ladder, going around it toward the wall behind it. He felt the wall, and after he felt what it was he was looking for, he pushed his pinky through, causing a small hole to form in the wall. As his pinky slid past the second knuckle, it hit a button that caused a small part of the wall to separate, revealing a small keyhole.

Lloyd withdrew his hand and reached into his pocket, grabbing the key that was found in the apartment. He inserted the key into the hole, and, without touching it, the key turned and sank further in until it had disappeared. The adjoining wall on Lloyd's right slid open, and a long corridor blew warm air into the room. Lloyd began walking toward the opening, happily whistling a show tune.

While he was walking down the corridor, he said to himself, "I guess the fun officially begins!"

As he disappeared into the darkness, the door behind him closed. Small clicks resonated down the corridor, and the small opening where the key was placed slid shut. The entire doorway that Lloyd had just used was deactivated, permanently.

Kaida had finally found the others, still afraid for Lloyd she thought that it would be best that all of them go and help him.
" Lloyds been injured." she said as she stopped in front of them, her face pale.

Letting go of both Tarja and Aiden's hand he walked over to Kaida and gave her a big hug. " where is he right now?" He began to get a bad feeling about why they were actually here, and knew for certain they were going to die. " just to let you know, i get a bad feeling about him and this place too."

aiden Ran up to Kaida and waited impatiently for the hug between her and Bill to finish before she wrapped her arms around her. she squeaked. "Im glad your ok!" She said before looking past her too see for Lloyed.
"where is he?" She said realeasing her and walking past her. Aiden looked back at Bill. "Dont be silly Bill." She said as she walked ahead of him, up ahead she could see a small openeing where small spikes were all over the floor. As she got closer she could see some blood. but no Lloyed. she stopped and frowned.
"what...?" She asked herself.

((OOC: I'm pretty surprised! Characters have found each other fairly quickly, and locations that were far from each other have been traveled to in an extremely short time. What surprises me the most, though, is Bill's intuition. I wasn't aware that he was so adept at sensing things like that. I'm sorry if I'm sounding like an @ss, but I'd appreciate it if wolf fury edited his character's "Talents" to accommodate it.))

Lloyd continued to walk down the dark corridor. His whistling began to quiet as he slowly neared the end, until there was no sounds besides his footsteps. The corridor came to a halt, with nothing but a dead end. Lloyd reached out and placed his hand on the wall. It was cold, almost to the point where it felt as if his hand was burning. Lloyd quickly withdrew his hand away from the wall. He raised his knee toward it, but kicked sharply at the wall on his right. The location where he kicked was higher than one could reach, but the length of his legs allowed him to reach his target.

The point where he kicked started to sink in, and the wall infront of him began to emit a mist from underneath. It kept coming until it finally reached Lloyd's legs. Strangely, the mist was warm, unlike the freezing temperature of the wall. The wall then lifted up and slid to Lloyd's left, revealing a dark room, lit only by computer screens. A small square of light shined down a few feet infront of the screens, cast by a small opening in the ceiling. There was a figure in the middle of the screens, sitting in a chair.

Lloyd quickly walked into the room, standing in the middle of the light.

"WHAT THE H#LL AM I STILL DOING HERE?!" Lloyd demanded. The figure simply sat in the chair, motionless. Lloyd took a couple of deep breathes, trying to fight the adrenaline rush that was now forming. If the person didn't answer any of his questions, Lloyd already made up his mind that the figure would never leave the room. "ANSWER ME!" Still, the figure remained silent.

"... Five times I've been here... Five times I've won... I have already done my part of the deal. Getting others to play this game was MY PART! You only had to exclude me from any future games!" The figure remained silent. "GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!" Lloyd then charged the figure, his left leg high in the air in a threatening axe kick.

"As you wish," the figure said, raising his hand and pressing a button.

The ground beneath Lloyd shook, then descended slightly. Lloyd lost his balance, forcing him to abandon his attempted attack. The ground rumbled, then made slight clicking sounds. Lloyd put everything together, but sadly, it wasn't fast enough.

"You... B@STARD!!!" he yelled, before the floor launched him through the opening in the ceiling. He was flung a few feet above the ground, and crashed into a pile of garbage bags. The opening then closed, making the cement floor whole again.

Lloyd simply laid there, his back and head on the ground and his torso and legs sticking up toward the sky. "That... b@stard... used me..."

Lloyd rolled over onto his hands and knees, crawling away from the pile of garbage. As he stood up, he looked around to get a bearing on his surroundings. Much to his surprise, he was now outside in an alley. He walked toward the street, and when he got to the sidewalk, he saw the apartment building. It was across the street, a couple of buildings off his right. The building next to it was the place where he was kept the last time he was here.

"Well, this'll be fun," he said, gritting his teeth.

Tarja sighed, really wishing she had some music right now. Kamelot, The Human Stain (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4n3LobCY5HE) would be nice to hear right about then. But, then again, she couldnt get what she wanted so, eh, whatever. Unconciously, she began to humm it, biting her thumb nail.

'well good he must be ok' aiden reassured herself. She bit the side of her mouth and looked around. Where would she go now. She was too afraid to go off by herself but she needed to hurry and find a way out of here. She didnt even know what floor she was on. Right then, the elevator dinged. She jumped and took a few steps back as the doors opened.
Her breath quicked and her heart pounded in her ears. She bit her lip harder and took a few steps twoard it.
'no you stupid girl dont get in the elevator' he thought to herself.
With a shake of her head. she did it, she quickly flung herself int othe elevator the doors shutting quickly. by now Aiden was ready to expect anything. at the moment she was waiting for the Elevator to break and her to plummet to her death. She closed her eyes and was surprised when she heard the ding again and the doors slowly slid open.

Bill followed Aiden bringing Tarja and Kaida along. "Gone?" He looked around, there was no way Lloyd could have just disappeared with out walking right near them or maybe he could have. Bill looked around trying to find a way out besides where they came from. " maybe we should split into groups?" he asked wondering himself if that was a good idea.

"I dont believe that is a good idea," Tarja put in. It was never a good idea to split up. That was how people got killed. She just hoped that people listened to her.

Kaida started to laugh histarically, the thought that Lloyd had just got up and walked out was phenominal. Tears began to streak her face, she wasn't able to hold it in any longer, she just let out an ear peircing scream, then fell silent. " I want out" she said coldly, her face serious, " GET ME OUTA HERE" she yelled to those that had put them in there in the first place. Taking the gun from who ever had it she held it close, admiring it. if i can't get out of here by surviving, i will die to get out. she thought to herself.

Tarja turned, studdying the girl. It seemed that pressure had gotten to her, and the possiblity of dying. Tarja had no idea why she was so calm, she was freaking out inside. She watched Kaida, wincing slightly when she let out the scream. Tarja didnt hesitate, she put her coat on so that she didnt have to carry it and walked up to her, slapping her hard.
"Get a grip of yoursef, fille!" *1* she yelled at her.
"This is no time to loose yourself in panic, we are all in the same boat! La panique vous fera non bon, oui?" *2* she added, gently taking her chin in her hand, making Kaida look her in her hazel eyes.

Dropping the gun in shock, Kaida looked to Tarja. Her cheeck stung a little but she ignored the pain. "ss..sorry" she said to all of them, still looking at Tarja. Kaida just feared that someone might have gotten to Lloyd and killed him, or maybe he got out without them, maybe he didn't care if they ever got out. " WHat next?" she asked calmly.

Bill just stood there, before he picked up the gun, unloaded it, and placed the bullets in his pocket. Throwing the gun down the hall, he made his way over to Kaida and Tarja. " Tarja is right, there is no time for all this, we must remain calm." Bill picked Kaida up into his arms and carried her the rest of the way down the hall, motioning for Tarja and Aiden to follow, they would not split up.

Aiden looked down the empty Hallway. She wondered if there were cameras watching her. She began to walk down the Hallway being cautious of everything around her.
at the end of the Hallway there was a door open.
She bit her lip and walked over to it, she stood in the door way and looked into the small apartment room.
it was fully furnished and the Tv was on.
she raised and eye brow and grabbed a baseball bat that was sitting conveinetly by the door next to the umbrellas she took a few steps in, the tv growing louder with the sound of an Audience laughing. Scooby doo was on.
Sh walked into the kitchen Area to find a table set with a giant dinner full of all kindsof food. sitting at all the seats though were Manniquins, She shivered. it was definetly creepy.
on the table was a small sign.

Her stomache grumbled. She willed herself not to eat any of it, who knows what they could have done to the food.

Kaida looked around, " where is Aiden?" she asked as she made her squirmed her way out of Bills arms, making her way down the hall. "AIDEN" she yelled hoping to find her. Looking back she found she had lost the other two, barely noticing the painting moving beside her.

Tarja grabbed Bill, rushing off after Kaida.
"Kaida - come back! It isnt a good idea - we'll get killed!" Tarja yelled, running at full speed after the girl. Now, her panic was making herself known. As soon as she stopped, she would ask Bill to slap her.

Bill followed quickly behind Tarja, "Kaida, wait up, Tarja is right we will get killed if we split up." Catching up to Kaida, he grabbed her hand pulling her away from the painting. He had noticed when he got to her that the painting was moving. " Lets get out of here."

((OOC: The pace of the rp is moving fairly well. To be honest, I didn't think it would last this long. And, as a note, the last part is for future reference. Lloyd slowly walked down the sidewalk, careful about where he would place his feet; it looked as though he was doing some sort of dance. He was heading toward the apartment building, but he made sure not to cross the street. As he got closer, his eye caught a glimpse of something nearly out of his line-of-sight. He changed his pace, heading instead toward the object. He came to a stop infront of a skull.

The skull was laying infront of a bank, and there was a large piece of metal lodged in the temporal bone. Lloyd couldn't stand to look at it, grimacing as he looked away. The skull belonged to a Korean kid, Haneul, that was forced to play the last game. Lloyd had gotten to know the kid pretty well, and Haneul had even taught him some Korean. When they had escaped the bank, Haneul stepped on a mine, resulting in his death.

"내 벗 평화 두십시오," Lloyd said quietly, taking one last look at the skull.

As he turned his head back to the apartment, he was able to see through the window and into the small dining area. There were mannequins set around a table, with a whole assortment of food on the table. Lloyd saw movement, movement of what looked like a pole or a baseball bat. Then, Aiden slowly came into view.

"This is bad," Lloyd said, bending down and picking up a rock.

Then, he danced his way out of the small mine field that surrounded the bank and the apartment, coming to a stop infront of a small convenience store. Lloyd's memories came flooding back in, and he remembered how him and two others had raided the store for supplies during his third stay. There were ten when they first woke up.

Lloyd stood there, immersing himself in what had once been forgotten memories. He had no idea how long he had been standing there. Then, his attention was turned to something else. Something had just opened the front door of the apartment, and his gaze shot toward it. It was ________.

Kaida ignored Tarja's call, and ignored Bill, she just kept walking towards a light at the end of the hallway. please be freedom she thought to herseld as she made her way into what looked like a dining room. Kaida walked over to the painting, went through the opening and let the painting lock behind her. walking up the semi-dark stairway, she kept thinking to herself. what would happen if i died? what if we all survived though?. Kaida made it to the first level, not noticing anything but the smell of food which made her stomache feel sick.

From what I understand, Kaida, Tarja, and Bill are approximately at basement level, near the permanently closed door that Lloyd used earlier. Aiden took an elevator up, and my character is outside at ground level. I'm sorry if I'm sounding like an @ss, but it just doesn't make sense to me that any character can see my character, especially since he is now well outside the visual range of anyone in the apartment.))

"Kaida!" Tarja screamed, sprinting down the hall. She really wished she hadnt worn boots to her hotel room. . . but, then again, it didnt matter now, she was stuck in this outfit and she must deal.
"Kaida - please!" she yelled again, following her. Kaida remained just ahead, always vanishing the moment Tarja's eyes got a glance of her, which is how she kept up.
"Заклятье бога вы, тупоумная девушка!"(1) she screamed, to no one in particular.

Aiden could hear screams in the distant, like the others yelling at them. Aiden was tempted to run back but she knew by now that it could all be a trick. Aiden walked over to the window she looked down below her. She gripped the bars and wished she could be outside, out of this hell.
She bit her lip and held back tears as she tund back to the mannequinns.
She walked up to one resembleing he happy perfect "father" of the household, the mannequinn was dressed in a suit and his head was turned to the "mother" who was wearing a dress close to the perfect 50's style and had a wig with the flipped out 50's doo.
the mothers head was was looking toward a child who was a mannequinn of a boy, wearing a baseball cap and a striped shirt, he was looking to the bathroom.
Aiden gripped the bat and began walking to the bathroom, the door was open and the light was on.
She lifted the bat and jumped into the door way to find the bathroom empty except a bottle of pills on the sink.
She walked over to the sink and grabbedthe pill bottle, it was sleeping pills.
She looked at herself in the mirror, she looked awful.
She backed up against the wall and began to cry as she let herself slide down the wall, pulling her knees to her chest.
after a few seconds of crying she stood up, hearing a click from the living room, she walked into the dining area to see the dront door had been shut and locked, the knob removed from her side of the door. She looked at he food and grabbed a peice of cheesecake, not careing what could be in it anymore. and walked back to the bedroom, sitting on the eatly made bed and opened the pill bottle.

Kaida could see something ahead of her, it looked to be a person, but it probably wasn't, it could be her mind playing tricks. " Hello" she said as she kept walking and could hear someone crying. " HELLO" she yelled hoping it wasn't a trick. Kaida began to run, following the noise.
