The lyrics are burned into my mind,
Listening to these sad songs over and over again,
My heart just breaks even more.
It never really stops the pain.
I want to let the tears flow,
But I know I must stay sane,
For my own sake and my close friends.
What more is there to lose or gain?
As I listen to you tell me,
I want to scream and kick and cry.
There's nothing we can do now.
Why did she ever want to die?
I just didn't understand,
Why she wanted to leave me,
And her friends that she once held so dear.
Why couldn't I see?
I can't see her anymore,
And the thought it sickens me,
To the point where I can't take it anymore.
I guess a heart-broken girl is all I'll ever be.
But I will stand strong,
And keep my head held high,
Until the day finally comes that I will see her again,
