The mayor lives in the tall, orange building. Yes, I realize this place is all black and orange. Why wouldn't it be? Remember, everything here is Halloween. I'm glad you've come here. I can tell you the secret about Halloweentown. Halloweentown's secret is;

Character Bio: Nosny was initially a human who stumbled upon Halloween Town. After being there for about a year he got bored and almost foolishly signed up for one of the scientist's experiments. When he woke up after the surgery he had a set of dragon wings and a tail, also his fingers and toes were replaced with claws. The surgery had an unexpected side effect though (when do they not). Nosny's personality changed. He became one of those glass is half empty type of guys. Instead of trying anything on a whim, he sits around most of the time. People have to convince him to try something or do something new.

Nosny pulled out a cigarette then sat back down on "his" hill overlooking the center of Halloween Town. It wasn't like the hill was off limits to everyone but him, more like he was the only one who would go there for peace and quiet. Nosny concentrated his breath and exhaled a small stream of fire, just enough to like the cigarette. This was a very common scene for him, the sun setting in the background, people moving about in the town circle, and the ever constant flow of water in the stream just past the town. Nosny would sit there for hours just watching the scenery and observing the towns folk. This is how Nosny spent most of his days after the surgery changed his personality. Sometimes though, like today, he wanted someone to talk to and share the beauty of the view with. Sitting there alone got boring lonely sometimes.

Callista floated silently up the hill. She simply took in the surroundings. As a live human being she'd never really gotten a chance to enjoy beauty because her father thought it was frivolous and would allow the devil to use her idle hands as her playground. She floated silently behind Nosny. He kind of scared her so she usually tried to avoid him.

Xena lost herself in the beauty of the woods, alone and in her own trap of solitude, she was loving it. Humming softly, she let other people know her presance, but only if they knew Xena well enough and listened.

Jessica gazed into the well in the center of Holloween town, as if there was some answer of her purpose for have even been born into this world of madness. She sometimes tryed to fathom the extent of her abilities, questioning what she would ever use them for. Or what good would come of it if she ever used them.

Jack weaved expertly through the crowds near the center of Halloween Town, on his way to meet the mayor. Jack had wanted to discuss something important with him.
Okay, so it wasn't really all that important. Jack was just a bit bored, and wanted to speak with someone about possibly having a festival soon. They needed to do something to celebrate the history of this place.

Olivia grinned, standing in a small chalk pentacle near the outskirts of the town. She was practicing her spells again. This time, she was trying to summon a cat.
She'd never had much luck when it came to summoning live animals or anything. Probably because she wasn't supposed to.
She liked doing things that she'd been told not to do, though. So, she recited the incantation again, and watched as a small puff of smoke appeared in the adjacent circle. That was it - no cat.
"Darn..."

Jessica sighed, and had a good mind to just hide in the cemetary again. But decided against that, and turned away from the well. Mabey I'll just wander around for a while. She thought to herself, fiddleing with the end of her sheet.

Valentine was sitting quietly in her room infront of the door leading out of her room, so far she hadn't heard any noise so she was assuming it was safe to sneak out now. Ever so carefully she picked the lock with something she had found the other day, and check to make sure all her seams were in place. Then she opened the door and crept out, heading straight for the staircase.

Jessica walked around Holloweentown, pushing her sheet back on her head from time to time. She stared at the ground and avoided the other towns people's eyes, she didn't like to be stared at.

At that Nosny spread his wings stiffly and mumbled to himself, "If only I had more control of my wing muscles, then I could actually fly instead of just glide down hills." Nosny jumped off the hill and glided down to Halloween Town. As he landed in the outskirts he lost his balance and slid on his side. "Ow."

Valentine finally got down the stairs, and made a break for the door, luckily for her the scientist didn't seem to be around so she made it out of the house. When she got out she walked as fast as her frail legs would take her, checking her stitches once again before exiting the gate and heading into town.

Jessica stopped walking around Holloweentown and decided to go to the cemetary.



Once there, she sat down behind a large tomb stone and covered herself in her sheet.

Maddy grinned liked the Cheshire Cat as he bottled up a shimmering green powder into some vials. He looked up. Valentine was being unusually quiet. His smile faltered a bit. Maybe she was still miffed at him for locking her away. 'We had our reasons though!' A voice at the back of his skull yelled. 'Shes fragile. I just don't want to see her hurt.' Another voice, more quiet then the other. Maddy pulled out a large tome and started to flip through it. Inside were detailed drawings of various creatures. Some that looked more beast then human. He stopped at the drawing of his latest being. Valentine. She was his longest living creation yet. His others all turned into dust shortly after he gave them life.

Callista admired the view for a little while longer than headed back to Halloweentown. She avoided any interactions with people. What she would have liked was a friend around her age who she could really open up to. She was the youngest person in the town and she didn't want to talk about her dark past with any of them.

Valentine grinned brightly "FREE at last" she said happily, as she walked through the town smiling at everyone around her. It had been a while since she had been out, and she decided to head towards the cemetery. "Never know who you'll meet there" she said to herself as she walked up the path leading to the large black gate.

Riccardo boredly took out some unfinished paperwork and began to scribble his name down on the documents and tossed them over his shoulder, not even caring to read them

Alastor watched as the three children walked by and continued to sneak through town until he found the cemetary, strangely finding it interesting to read the tombstones
"Let's see whos under the large tombstones today" he said with a slight smile as he carefully took out this egg-shaped item with gears that stuck out from the large hole ontop of it, from his pocket and gently turned the top gear making all of them start to spin endlessly and cause a light to resonate from the item and began to look at the tombstones and read the names and dates of the creatures life span

Maddy walked out of his basement/lab and locked the doors. "Valentine?" He called out into the empty house. No answer. The silent treatment maybe? The silence unnerved him a bit. Did she hurt herself? He went to her door and tapped the door with his long black fingernails. When the door swung open, Maddy released a loud sigh. "She left...again." 'Should destroy her and make a new one! One that obeys!' 'Oh shut it. Don't listen to him. The girl is allowed some freedom. Look at this place.' The soft voice ordered and Maddy obeyed. It was a rather dank, ugly place. 'Halloween Town is ten times better.' He gave a defeated sigh and shuffled back to his basement.

Valentine managed to walk through the gate, without getting any of her stitches caught in it something she barely ever accomplished. *You should go back to him after this...he only does this because he cares...I think* a little voice in her head told her, and she thought about it...she was already feeling guilty about leaving him. I mean he had a right to keep her locked up, he had after all made her...but first she wanted to explore the graveyard. Then she saw Alastor infront of a tombstone like thing "hello" she called alittle unsure of herself.

"Ack!" Alastor shouted as he accidentaly tossed his light source into the air and looked at his hands with wide eyes for a few seconds and looked up in the air and back at his hands to then get his on the head by the object
"Ow" he mumbled as he rubbed his head and picked up the object and flicked the gear for it to start up once again and slowly turned to see Valentine
"Yikes!" he shouted and dove behind the tombstone and stopped the gear to make the light go out
"Wh-who are you?!" he called shakily as he leaned against the tombstone

Jessica heard confersation going on just on the other side of the tomb stone she was hideing behind. A bit startled she stayed absolutly still, as to not bring attention to herself.

"Maybe I should make another one." Maddy mumbled as he dipped his quill into the inkwell and took various notes on the process of a creature that seemed like a cross between a chicken and a reptile. The creature let out cluck before released a stream of fire at Maddy causing him to jump back in surprise. "Yes..I think I will." He closed the pamphlet and went to his worktable to sketch his latest creation.

Zumora walked out of his house and strolled down the brick road. He was tired of being cooped up in his house all the time.

Valentine watched all the events unfold, covering her mouth with her hand to hide her laughter "Are you alright?" she asked just as he yelped "yikes" and hid behind the tombstone. This kinda made her sad, but she wasn't very surprised "oh I'm Valentine...who are you?" she asked softly trying to sound like him hiding didn't bother her...was she really that ugly?

This actually caused Valentine to laugh "I don't have any of those qualities...just a few stitches that's all" she said with a smile "here I was thinking you hated me on first sight...so I take it you weren't originally from here" she said softly though she knew he would be able to hear her. Then she noticed what looked like a almost see through foot on the side of the tombstone.

Nosny headed toward the town, but to do so he would have to go through the graveyard. Every time he did, it gave him chills, like something was following him. When he got close, he heard a conversation and decided to watch from on top of one of those tombs with statues on it, so as not to disturb them. This way he could blend right in, while still getting a view of what was going on.

Maddy picked up his shovel with his usual catlike grin. "Time to collect some parts!" He sang happily as he walked out the front door of his home. "Make sure no one tries to break in!" The gargoyles perched on ledge screeched in reply. "Good girls. See ya in a bit!" He skipped away with his shovel over his shoulder and a list in his hand. "First I need is a nice fresh head...What better place to search then the graveyard!?"

The town looked quite empty by the time Zumora walked through. He saw Maddy and decided to say hello to someone. "Hello Maddy how are you this fine halloween night?" Zumora asked softly.

Being an honest man...thing, Maddy looked at Zumora and said "I'm going to raid the graveyard." He grinned wide. "And what about you my friend?"

[Ban]

"Me? I've been cooped up at my house lately so I've decided to stroll through the town. But sadly it seems to be deserted and i have nothing else to do. I also don't feel like going back to my house because i happen to be bored." Zumora said to the mad Scientist

[Ziae]

"Would you like to join me?" Maddy asked. "I could always go for an extra hand."

[Ban]

"Hmm... You know what I'll accept your offer." Zumora said as he reached his hand out for a shovel.

[Ziae]

Maddy handed him a shovel. "Good! Onward!" He pointed with a long nail before marching off to the cemetery.

After watching the conversation for a bit, Nosny felt some of his old attitude return to him. He felt like seeing how many of them he could scare at once, the problem was how to do it. Once he figured it out he acted on it immediately. He left the graveyard and built a large fire(contained of course, it was only a prank after all), he was going to cast his shadow on the moon. "That should do it." he thought to himself with a smile on his face. After the fire was built he got on a nearby tree and spread his wings. The effect was a little like this:

Valentine just looked at the ghost girl and the man hiding behind the same tombstone...what had made them so afraid everyone in Halloween town seemed normal to her.

Jack dodged through another crowd of people before finally reaching the large orange building, in which the mayor resided.
Without knocking, Jack entered, and hopped up the stairs to the third floor.
It was at the last door on the right that he stopped, and knocked once before walking in. As soon as he had one foot in the door, he caught a small stack of papers that had been tossed in his direction.
"Hello, Riccardo. It's been a while."

Olivia had just about given up on the summoning, when, on her very last try, a small black kitten appeared out of the smoke. It mewed softly, looking Olivia over.
Olivia stared at it for a moment, not believing her eyes, before a wide grin spread across her features.
She shot out of the circle and scooped the cat up, hugging it tightly, though carefully, so as not to squish it.
"Feel special, kitty. You're the first live animal that I've conjoured! Haha!"

Tired of being harrassed, Jessica stood and lifted her sheet. "There's no privacy in this town." She muttered to herself as she left the cematary.

He tossed the papers back onto Riccardo's desk and leaned against the wall near the door, arms crossed.
"I think we should hold a festival, though. Or something of the like. To celebrate the history of this wonderfully creepy town, you know. What do you think?"

Olivia set the cat back down, smiling fiercely. It stared up at her with wondering eyes, trying to figure out what was going on.
Olivia clicked her tounge once and started walking toward the town circle, expecting it to follow. It did.

After leaveing the cematary Jessica stopped infront of the mayor's home. She always wondered what went on in there. No matter. Jessica thought, she walked two feet more and stumbled upon a doll. Inflicted with boredom, she toyed with it useing her telekinetic powers, one of her maney abilities, she made dance about the ground while she tried to keep her sheet from falling.

Olivia broke through the crowds at the center of the town, and continued walking until she came to the medium-height black building that she called home. It was made of special obsidian-colored bricks that her parents had found. Well, that's what they said. Probably a lie. Oh well.
She skipped around back and started climbing up an orange-painted ladder that led to the roof. The cat had followed her up until this point, and was now desperately searching for a different route to take that also led to the roof.

((:3 Honestly, all you two really missed was just everyone interacting with each other. Nothing deemed important(to me). >w< I shall tell you where everyone is though. Jack the Pumpkin King and Jessica the Mind Demon are in front of Mayor Ricardo's office. Apparently they bumped into each other. Olivia the Witch is home. Valentine the Ragdoll is interacting with Alastor the Unknown Creature in the cemetery. Zumora the Boogeyman and Maddy the Mad Scientist are in the cemetery also, collecting body parts so Maddy could make another ragdoll. Callista the Ghost is I believe floating around. Not sure. Haven't seen any of Groupie's postings. And Nosny the Half-Dragon had intended to scare everyone with a projection of the shadow of a dragon on the moon but I don't think anyone cared.

Maddy's clear baritone voice rang cut through the silence as he stabbed the earth with his shovel and tossed the dirt over his shoulder. He was singing in an old language that was no longer spoken in Halloween Town. He always sang when he searching. Found it distracting and made the whole digging process easier. When his shoulder hit something hard, Maddy threw the shovel up towards the surface and used his bare hands to lift open the coffin's lid. He didn't even flinch at the smell of decaying flesh. It never bothered him. "Hm...." He lifted an eyelid and saw a clear grass green. "Very nice." He pulled out a scalpel.

"Now..To fill the hole and move on!" He quickly did this in a matter of minutes and moved on the the next grave. "Leonardo Bogle...Not sure I want to make a male..." 'A male! A male! A ma-' The gruff voice piped up. 'No! Make a female...' The soft voice interrupted. 'Then Valentine will have a friend...you know...for womanly purposes..' "But shes doesn't have those functions." Maddy entered the apothecary known as his home. He went behind the counter and started to search the shelves. "Hm...Ah! Here we are." He pulled out a vial full of bright orange liquid. "Here you go. This should help."

Zumora took the vial and asked "is there anything in particular i should do to take this?" He didn't want to make a mistake with something that could help him.

"Nope! Just drink it." Maddy answered and leaned on the counter.

"Right then" Zumora murmered as he uncorked the vial and downed the liquid within. He thought it tasted oddly like orange juice. He started to feel strange instantly at the potion. He handed the vial and the cork back to Maddy. "How long till it wears off?" He asked wondering what was in it.

"Not sure. Your the first person to ever need it. You tell me." Maddy answered and dropped the cork in a wastebasket.

"I am your worst nightmare" he looked down as he heard some water running. The kid had peed his pants and was crying now. Zumora smiled and got out of the house walking to another.

Humming Fur Elise softly to himself, Maddy arranged the bones he had laying around into a suitable body. He placed he organs in their appropriate places and started to sew together the skin but left a portion of the heart exposed. He place two metal clamps on the heart. The clamps were hooked up to a switch on the wall. "Now!" He pulled down the switch and watched as electricity pumped through the body. "Come on.." Maddy pleaded as he watched the body jerk around.

Alastor, you know your not supposed to do that...If the old mayor saw you while he was still reining he'd have you kicked out for sure" he said as he tugged on Alastor's shirt and then bowed slightly to Valentine and walked back to the city hall and to his father's run down car and began to drive around
"Our elustirous King Jack has givin us the privoledge of having a festival to celebrate our wonderful town's entire existance!" he shouted through his fathers cone as he drove throughout the town and began to hum This Is Halloween
