April was taking a walk to school, her best friend Hollister at her side. It was the start of school, once again. She sighed, "Man. Where'd the summer go? I miss it." She complained to Hollister. "Nothing interesting ever happens at school, plus no cute guys." April went on-and-on complaining about the school. "Well, they have some cute guys, but there total perverts!" She said, giving off another sigh.

Danny was already at school, standing in the grass talking to his friend Jayson. They were new to the school, and they had gotten there pretty earlier. "Man. I can already tell this years going to be great. This schools better, nicer and deffinatly bigger then our last school." Danny noted, although it was obvious.

Hollister had little interest about her friend's complaining. She heard it every other year, and probably could say what April was going to say before she said it. All Hollister could do was read another new book walking next to her friend. It was an easy talk, you see, April was the loud mouth of the group and Hollister was just the brains. "I heard we were going to get new students," she commented before turning the next page of her book.

Jayson glanced over at Danny before turning to the school. "It looks like sh|t to me," he said with a small shrug. He dug his hands in his pockets and traced the pen he brought along, and the only thing he brought along on this trip. "Lets go before we're late," he yawned beginning to walk ahead of his talkative friend.

April looked over at Hollister, looking down at the new book she had. She had almost reached the middle of the book, which proved she was already almost finished. "Boys or girls?" She questioned. April hoped it was boys, then again.. she will have to see there faces first. April sighed and saw the school ahead. "UGH, were already there." She groaned, complaining once again. She couldn't believe all Hollister could do was just read a book. She sighed.

Danny rolled his eyes at Jayson. "Better then last school." He told him, remembering last year. The students, teachers..everything sucked about it. "We won't be late. Everyone seems to be chilling out at her." Danny announced, showing how everyone made no intention of moving from where they were.

"I heard they would be males," Hollister answered April's question. Hollister knew what her friend was thinking, she some what she also hoped to be males rather than new girls. "Let's hope they aren't idiots," like the rest of the male population at this school, she thought. Hollister wasn't proud at all that she was stuck with pigs and perverts all the time. What fun was that? She wanted someone she could seriously have a normal conversation with, and still feel respected at the same time.

Jayson shrugged, "I wonder what kind of people go here," he muttered of course being sarcastic. He didn't give a damn who or what came here. He just wished to finish the year move somewhere to get into a good college and well live on after that.

April nodded, walking onto school grounds. "I agree." She said, sighing. "I wonder if there here yet." April said, looking amogst everyone. She played with her hair, they were curled and were in cute pig-tails. As they usually were, she barely wore her hair down. April looked over at Hollister, "Wanna put the book down and help me?" She said, laughing a little. Hollister was her best friend, and the smart one out of the two of them.

Danny was about to answer him when he saw two girls, one reading a book and the other watching her. "Well, sofar there is." He said, smirking. He crossed his arms. The one reading the book seemed to catch his eye the most, he wasn't sure why. Danny nudged Jaysons elbow to get his attention to.

"Help you?" Hollister asked glancing up at her friend. Sighing Hollister pushed her glasses up and looked around, "They are over there," she pointed out to where Danny and Jayson stood. She had to admit, she had a hard time ripping her eyes off the light haired boy, but she did and just returned her eyes to her book. "Try not to scare them away," she advised her friend.

Jayson blinked turning to Danny before following his gaze at the two girls walking by. "You've always had a thing for smart girls," he shrugged looking at the book worm's friend. "And I guess the loud mouth with cute hair is one I should be looking at?"

April looked over at them, noticeing they were staring at them. She lightly punched her in the arm, "That's not funny." She said, stifling a laugh. "There cute, you have to admit it. If you put the book down for once, guys will notice you to." April said, taking the book away from Hollister, and removing her glasses from her face. "Your so gorgeous Hollister, nice skin and eyes.. everything." April told her, holding her things and refuseing to hand them over.

Danny turned his gaze to Jayson, blinking a few times. "Whos cuter now?" He said smirking. "I call dibs on the one with the blonde hair, wait.. I should just say the cuter one." Danny said with a shrug. He would pretend like he needed help around the school, possibly ask her since she seemed like a smart girl. Sure the other girl was cute, but to him nothing compared to the blonde-headed one.

Hollister gasped, "Give me my things back, "she demanded trying to get the girl to give them up. Of course it wasn't something out of nowhere, it happened all the time when Hollister became too consumed with that book of hers. "So embarrassing," Hollister chuckled finding herself hiding her face with her hands.

"They are both blond," Jayson rolled his eyes. "You idiot," he chuckled softly. He looked over at the girls again, "So what line are you going to use on the smart girl?" he asked giving the girls a small wave.

April refused to give them back. "No way, Hollister. You aren't going to get anywhere looking like that. I suggest contacts, your face is pretty. As I've stated.. I don't know how many times." April said, smirking. She put Hollister's glasses in her jean pocket and held onto the book. She looked over at Hollister, "The guy with the blonde hair can't keep his eyes off you." April said. She felt as though she helped Hollister find love, by changing her looks. Which wasn't much.

Danny looked at him. "Not technically. One has darker blonde hair, which would be considered light brown." He said, actually using his brain. "Line? Hmm.. you know me to well." Danny said, smirking. "Well. I am not sure yet but I'll let you know when it comes to me." Danny said laughing at himself. "What about you?" Danny blinked, looking at his friend.

Hollister sighed taking a peek at the blond. "If he's a complete idiot, I'm going to blame it on you," she hissed softly at her friend. She never understood why April had gotten excited seeing the new students, oh well, she'll just have to play along.

Jayson shook his head, "I don't like pick-up lines," he shrugged. "I just wanna talk to her, not make her fall in love with me because I greeted her with a ridiculous pick-up line." Jayson teased his friend. "Lets go talk to them if you really want too."

April sighed. "Let them come to us, and chill out." She warned at her. Grinning she looked at the front cover of the book Hollister was reading. "This.. doesn't look bad." She admitted, laughing. Reading wasn't really her thing. It was a suprise if you saw April caring, reading a book, and learning something new. April didn't care though, that's her reputation around there. They wondered how come Hollister and April were such close friends.

Danny shook his head. "I just want to know there names." He looked at Jayson. Danny had been sitting on steps the whole time, un-crossing his arms he sighed. "I dare you to go first." Danny said with a smirk. He loved dares, he would do the most crazy-iest dares if that was possible. Danny was a dare-devil and he loved it.

Holladae sighed, "This is no fun," she pouted. "It is nice, its something you'll like," she said. "Cute and simple," she teased her friend. "May I please have my book back?" Holladae begged.

Jayson rolled his eyes, "Pussy," he whispered to his friend before heading over to the two girls that had caught his eyes. "I'm Jayson, that's my very shy friend Danny over there," he said when he arrived at the girls.

April sighed and handed the book over to Hollister. "Whatever." She said, then she turned her attention to Jayson. "Hello, Jayson. My names April." She said, titling her head to the side. How lucky, they really did come up to them first. April leaned over to see who Danny was. Danny had an angry looking expression of his face. "Uhh, yeah." She said giving off a shy laugh. "This is Hollister." She said, pointing at her.

Danny stood up, walking over to them. He whispered to Jayson, "Fu*k you.." He then smiled, "Hello. What Jayson said.. was a lie." He said, looking at Jayson. Danny was just messing around, he didn't mean what he said to be rude. Him and Jayson did things like this all the time.

Hollister gave a small wave to the boys before shooting a look at April's direction. Hollister was horrible with men, well at flirting. She was good at reading, making people cry, and beating people at challenges/making people cry. That was pretty much it. April was the one with the rockin body and could easily suck a man in, in seconds. So why were they friends? Really they didn't have any idea.

Jayson chuckled softly before turning his gaze back to the young ladies. Right," he said, "We're new here, and are wondering if you two would be kind enough to show us around"

April smiled. "Sure, seeing your new.. why not." She said. She looked over the two boys, she was right. They were cute. Jayson was alot cuter though, by far. She looked at Hollister, "Does that sound okay?" She questioned. April widened her eyes to her, as if telling her to agree and help show them around.

Danny watched over the two of them. He already didn't like April. She seemed to prissy, and a like a spoiled brat. He liked Hollister, she seemed sweet. Danny, like Jayson said, liked girls like Hollister. There was many reasons why he did, and he would have a huge list if he listed them all. Maybe because sometimes he can relate to them.

Hollister was going to protest and demand her books back, but she couldn't go through it. "Sure, why not," she gave off a small smile. Just by glancing at April she saw that her friend already picked out the dark haired boy. Which left the mixed hair boy to her, and instantly she was glad too. The guy looked sweet, and not like a complete dumbass also.

Jayson had already chosen the loud mouth to be his. Danny wasn't going to move his eyes from the smart chick, so Jayson was glad they weren't fighting for which guy gets which girl. "So I have English first," he pointed out, "Where can I find the classroom?"

April smiled at Hollister and looked over at Jayson. "Funny. My first class is English also. Hollister has something different, I can't remember it though." She said, looking at Danny, hoping he might have the same class as Hollister, just so April could have some alone time with Jayson. "Let's get going, Jayson." April said, giving a playful wink at him, and a quick wave at both Danny and Hollister as she walked away.

Danny watched April, rolling his eyes when no one was looking. He looked at Hollister, "I've got Science.." He said with a quick shrug, hoping that possibly Hollister had the same class as him for the first block. One things for sure, he was glad he wasn't in April's classroom.. and glad that he could get some alone time with Hollister.

Hollister blinked, "Wait! April my book and glasses!" she called out. Hollister was completely blind if she looked at something over three feet away. She looked over at Danny. "Umm..Let me take you to the science class," she offered with a small smile. She wasn't sure what to do next. Flirt? Giggle?

Jayson nodded walking with her. "So, April, what grade are you in?" he asked. Might as well get to know her while he had the chance. Hopefully Jayson will actually start to like this girl sooner and for who she is. Jayson always had a problem with women, he was the type to just flirt and get what he wanted until he officially dumped them.

April played around with her curly pig-tails. "Hmm, I'm a Sohpmore." She said, and she was a proud Sophmore. "What grade are you in?" She asked him. She was about to add, 'sweetie' but that would've been a bit akward. She always said, 'Hun, darling, babe, or sweetie' to someone. To Jayson, it was just a bit different. April kept her pace rather slow, wanting to have a long conversation with Jayson before they spent an hour or so in a classroom listening to some weird teacher talk. April looked back, thinking she heard her name, but ignored it. She stared at Jayson, grinning.


Danny smirked, "Alright." He said, letting Hollister lead the way. Although he was sure she couldn't see well so he stayed close by her side. He didn't say anything about it though, "So.. Hollister. Unique name." Danny said, trying to strike up a conversation. He was nothing like his friend Jayson. He wanted to get to know a girl better, dated them for a while and broke up with them if they had nothing in common. Or if she just wansn't his type. Danny wasn't the type to use a girl.

"Junior," Jayson nodded answering her question. Well so what if he was like one year older than her, she was still dateable. "So how is this school? "he asked looking around at the buildings and the people. Of course it looked ten times better than the sh|t hole he and Danny went too, but still he didn't know."The teachers, the students?" of course he only cared of what one student and that was April.


Hollister blinked and nodded, "My mother always had a knack for weird names," she smiled. "My older brother is name Audio," she nodded, "And my little sister is name Ocean" she smiled. Of course the weird names were probably explained by her mother's drinking problem, but Hollister didn't want to go that far. "Hollister Dana Voice Jameson."

April looked at Jayson, keeping the same slow pace as usual. "Junior, eh?" She said smirking. She loved dating Junior's and Seniors, she loved dating older people period. Expect if there too old, that's just weird. April sighed, "The teacers.. well.." She bit her bottom lip in thought, "Only a few teachers are cool. As for the students. Practically all of them are either nerds or just plain weird." She said giggling, "Some though." She stated, looking at Jayson to hear what he had to say.

Danny laughed. "Those are some.. pretty unique names." Although he had already said that about her names, he didn't want to say they were weird. That would probably be offending. "Atleast your mom didn't name everyone starting with a specific letter." He said sighing. "David, Danny, Dakota, Dalton." Danny said using his fingers to count off the names. There was four of them, all boys.
