It was late evening. One of Kat's supposed friends was leading her to the most strange place? She would ask over and over "Where are we going?" The reply "You'll see." She watched her friends act weird around her. A week before they finally found out she was a neko… and now they were acting like this? She sighed and closed her eyes. One opened the front door of the house than pushed her inside locking the door behind. Kat blinked and mewed in fright before turning and banging on the door “Why?” She kept yelling “You’re a freak.” came the reply and sound of footsteps walking away.”

The same went for Damion. He watched his girlfriend act strange. She wasn't acting the same. One on the other side of the house she smirked "Happy Halloween... You freak.' She said shoving him into the window to the basement. "Oh and were over!" She yell after him as he fell into the haunted house.

As Jessie sat in the classroom some kids came up to her and had tied her hands together, forcing her to follow them. She never really had friends to begin with. Tears were already streaming down her face because she knew nothing good was going to come to what they were about to do. "W-Where are we going?" Jessie asked in a soft delicate voice. The people ordered her to be quiet and just follow along. They appeared in front of a house, opening the door and shoving her inside, "Your such a freak!" They yelled, not bothering to untie her hands.

Destrey had already been inisde, sitting on a chair in the darkest corner. Not much light leaked through the place. Destrey had been there for a while now, the words of those who had pushed him inside didn't effect him to much. He knew he was a freak. A vampire, what use would a vampire be in this world. He harmed humans, drinking there blood and what-not. "I see you've made it." His voice echoed through the haunted house, meaning for it to all three of them.

Kat wiped away a few tears as she looked around. She walked a little more into the house and than stopped once the voice spoke. She looked around and took the hood of . Her ears perked up and twitched "What is that suppose to mean?"

Damion looked around and got up. He grunted and put a hand to his chest. He looked around and shrugged looking coldly at the bacment wall.

Jessie sat up, struggling to get this rope untied. Thankfully they didn't tie it as well as they thought, it came off easily. She whipped the tears from her eyes and looked around, once she heard the voice she got up. "I-Is.. there more people here?" Jessie questioned. She heard two voices, a guy voice and a girl voice. She wasn't sure what to expect. Jessie walked around a little in the darkness, it was almost pitch black in there. Her least favorite color, and one of her worst fears.

Destrey adjusted himself in the chair. "We've all been sent here since were considered 'freaks'. Understandable.. I'm a vampire, we've got an Angel, a neko.. and a demon." Destrey announced outloud. Was he the only one willing to speak up? "Were not freaks though. This is how we were made. It's fate that we all ended up here though, isn't it?" Destrey asked, hoping anyone would just answer. Anyone was fine.

Kat purred than started to look around for the male voice "I guess it is fate... But who knows." She said walking silent footed up the stairs. Once on the landing she mewed softly before starting to look in the room upstairs. "So... Where are you hiding?" He asked his opening another door.

Damion looked around and nodded before he found the stairs. He opened the door and looked around. He felt agents the wall and found the light switch. He smirked and looked at, who he guessed to be, the angel girl.

Jessie shielded her eyes from the sudden light. "Mm?" She said, getting used to the light right away. She looked around, she was in a small room really, there was a window that had wood nailed to it to prevent light from coming in. She looked at the person who had turned the light on, it happened to be the demon boy. "H-Hello?" Jessie asked in a quiet voice. He was smiling and he looked a little friendly.

Destrey scratched his chin in thought. "I don't feel like telling you.. come find me insted." Destrey said, wanting to give her something to do. He smiled, leaning back in the chair, relaxing. It could take her a while before she found him, but he wasn't far. Destrey thought it was funny, and tauting.

Kat growled a little and ran around silent footed. She opened door after door and looked around inside. She hissed after finding a small white mouse and started to chase it for a bit. Till she remembered what she was doing and started to look around again.

Damion raved a hand in greeting and smiled a little. He looked around than spoke in a deep smooth soothing voice "Were you crying?" He asked looking at her. He didn't talk much, but when he did it was short.

Destrey was enjoying ever minute of it. "Don't worry, I think your close." He said as her heard tiny noises of feet running against the wooden floor. He sighed and closed his eyes, opening them again. He looked out through the window, that provided light from the only the moon. Destrey showed no intention of getting up or doing anything, except wait for her to find him.

Jessie quickly whiped the tears from her eyes. She looked down and nodded quickly. He seemed so sweet and kind, and his voice just made her feel better about her situation. "Y-Yes." She stuttered a little.

Kat purred than smirked "Aw... Please give me a hint? Please." She begged her voice playful and she even mewed like a kitten to add cuteness.

Damion nodded "Don't cry Miss. Angel." He said shutting the basement door. He sighed and remember what his now ex-girlfriend yelled. He closed his eyes and shook his head rubbing the concealer off from under his eyes. The only part of him that reveled his demon side was his left eye and the makings under it.

Destrey looked towards the door, "Hmm. I'm in a room." He teased, smirking. "A dark room, one window the provides not enough light." Destrey said, just naming off the things that she couldn't see. "I'm not exactly sure how to tell you anymore hints.." Destrey said, which wasn't a lie. Outside of the room was pitch-black, he couldn't explain anything more.

Jessie looked up at Damion. She stood up, walking over to him. Standing on her tippy-toes, she wanted to get a better look of the thing under his eye. "It's kind of.. pretty." Jessie whispered, gently getting back onto her feet, and backing away, giving him an innocent smile. She didn't feel the need to cry anymore.

Kat mewed impatiently and looked around she sniffed and started to looked around before turning the nob on a door. It was dark in the hall she was in. But hey she was part cat and had night sight. She opened the door and looked inside "Anyone in here?' She asked looking at the single window and than around the room.

Damion looked at her his mismatched eyes seemed to smile for him. one eye was blue the other a fiery red. He nodded and found a couch. He still had a blank look on his face as he went to sit down on it.

Destrey looked at the girl who opened the door, "Seems you've found me." He said, getting off the chair. He walked over to the window, letting the light hit him to show his appearance. "That didn't take TO long." Destrey complained, sighing. He looked at the neko girl, "So, your the neko..eh?" Destrey questioned her.

Jessie gracefully walked over to him, sitting down next to him. She kept her distance, "Now that you've basically asked me if I'm okay.. it's my turn." She said in a sweet voice. "Are you alright, demon boy?" Jessie asked him, trying to stare straight into his eyes, if it was possible.

Kay mewed and swished her tale with a smirk "Yes I'm the neko... I have a name you know... I'm Katherine Rose... I prefer to go by Kat." She said extending a hand to him. She smiled "You are?"

Damion shook his head "Not really..." He sighed and ran hand though his blond hair "My girlfriend dumped me after pushing me in here..." He said reveling the full left side of his face.

Destrey stared down at her hands. "Nice to meet you.. Kat." He said, taking her hand. "My names Destrey Olsen, Des for short." He said, giving her one shake and immidiatly letting go. "I've been here for a while, waiting till morning to search around this place. That's when there will be light shining through completely." Destrey said, looking out through the window then to Kat.

"Aww you poor thing!" Jessie exclaimed, giving him a hug. She was a 'touchy, feely' type of person. She pulled away, blushing a little. "Sorry.." She said, after a short silence she titled her head to the side. "My names Jessica Johnson, please call me Jessie for short though." Jessie said to him.

Kat nodded and and looked out of the window. She tilted her head and watched some figures down in the yard. She tilted her head "mm... My friends..." She sighed "Ex-friends..." She turned from the window and looked around.


Damion looked at her "I'm Damion Rage.... Pleasure to meet you." He said looking back at the floor. He sighed softly than got up "Want to go look around?" He asked her extending a hand to her.

Destrey smiled and looked at her. "I never had friends. I don't want any and I don't need any." He said, causally. A smile still played on his lips, not planning on frowning for fadeing. Destrey meant it to, he looked down at the children who were supposivley Kat's friends. He wanted to suck the life out them, just for many reasons. He noticed that they were laughing and smiling like crazy, as if they were genius's for locking the 'freaks' into the Haunted House. Destrey looked over at Kat again, "You don't need them.." He stated.

Jessie smiled and looked at his hand, taking it she stood up. As he led her out of the room and into the darkness she turned back to stare at the lit up room. She sighed, here they were in the pitch-black. "I'm sure theres more light-switches.. or possibly a switch to turn on that will provide light for the eintire house." She announced out-loud, looking at Damion to see what he thought.

Kat sighed "Maybe I don't need them..." She let a tear roll down her cheek. She held her arms "But it hurt... You know... knowing that people I considered close to me.... Just...' She didn't finish, just pulled up her hood and sat down on the floor.

Damion nodded and looked around "Maybe that guy who was talking would know..."

Destrey smirked and walked over to her. He bent down and stared at her, "I can't understand since I've never experienced something like that.." He said, admitting it. He wasn't afraid to. "They were playing you Kat. They were just pretending to be your friend." Destrey said, probably not making her feel any better. He wasn't good at comforting others.

Jessie leaned over to look past Damion's body. She saw another guy and another girl. "Those must've been the voices I heard ealier." She stated, smiling to know they they weren't alone. "Let's go ask." Jessie said, walking off and heading to the door.

Kat sighed softly and looked up at him with one tear filled blue grey eye. She sighed softly and shook her head The bell chuckler she was wearing jingling softly.

Damino nodded and went with her to the, He blinked and looked at the crying Neko than to the male vampire "You made her cry?" He asked the male his other hand clinching into a fist.

Destrey looked up at the Angel girl and Demon guy. He smiled softly, "Of course not." He said simply, "Shes sad because her friends did this to her." Destrey said, taking Kat's hand and pulling her to her feet. "It's nice to see we aren't the only ones.. I guess?" Destrey said, shrugging. "My names Destrey, call me Des. I'm considered a freak." Destrey said, giving off a nice introduction. He noticed the Demon guy had clinched his fists.

Jessie nodded at Destrey, apparently he liked to joke around alot, and be sarcastic. She sighed and smiled gently, "My names Jessica, call me Jessie." She walked over to Kat, putting her arm around her shoulders, just in a comforting way once she saw tears streaming down her cheeks slowly. "I was sad to.." She said, sighing. That was meant for Kat to hear and Kat only.

Kat looked at the other two and bowed a little "And I'm Katharine Rose... Kat for short." She said looking at Jessie "I'm not sad... Kinda angry...' She said wiping her eyes her tail swayed sadly her ears were dropping slightly.

Damion nodded and unclenched his fist "I'm Damion Rage...." He said looking at the girls than at Des. He sighed and put his hand in his pocket He looked at the ceiling and closed his eyes.

Destrey nodded, "Nice to meet you guys. Now.. not exactly sure about you guys but.. I don't plan to spend all night here." He said, passing Damion and walking out the door. "I'm sure theres a way out of here." Destrey said, turning around and smiling at them, gesturing for them to follow.

Jessie nodded at Kat and watched Destrey walk away. "But, Des.." She began, "I'm sure they've locked just about every door in here.. I mean the ones to get out." She said sighing, "They wouldn't just do this and let us escape so easily." Jessie reminded Destrey, a sad sigh followed by.

Kat sighed and took her jacket off and left it in the room. She walked after Des and looked up at him with her cat like eyes.

Damion nodded and looked over at Jessie. "Come on..." He said softly to her before offering his hand again.

Destrey looked back down at her, staring straight into her eyes. "Me and Kat will check for places down-stairs..possibly a switch to turn all the lights on. You and Jess take the up stairs." Destrey ordered, looking at Damion. He took Kat's hand and walked down the long hallway, leading her slowly down the long staircase. It wound and wound, seemed like it was going on forever.

Jessie took Damions hand, nodding at Destrey even though he wasn't talking to her. "Let's go Damion." She said, pulling him as she walked down the long hallway. There was so many doors, it was unbelieveable. Jessie opened one, looking through it. It was completely empty and small.

Kat followed her bell choker jingling lightly as she walked. She held onto his hand with our realizing it. She looked around her eye changing from the blue grey to yellow She looked around "The staircase won't end... Will it?' She asked aloud walking close behind him.

Damiom just followed after her and looked in over her. He blinked and looked over at the room.

Destrey shrugged, "It's like a never-ending staircase.." He said with a long sigh. As he took a step down he hoped he would feel the ground, but it was just more stairs. If only it was bright in there, just so he could see were exactly the staircase ended. "I regret chosing the downstairs." Destrey admitted, being a little sarcastic. There was a smile behind it.

Jessie sighed, "This is going to be boring.." She said sadly, "I wish we got the down-stairs. I see nothing but door after door after door.. with nothing but darkness and emptyness." Jessie complained, looking down the hall. There wasn't much to see. She placed her hand on the wall so she could feel if there was another door to open.

Kat hissed and moved closer to him "I just saw something move.' She said whispering to him. Her eyes shifted to side to side "And isn't not a rat... I chased them all earlier...' She said watching a strange mist.

Damion blinked than looked ahead He jumped as a ghost walked out of a wall "Hi!" It called with a wave.

Destrey looked at her as she clinged to him. "The dark plays tricks on you." He said sighing as he continued down the staircase, "Your probably just see-.." He stopped as he saw a weird white mist make it's way down the staircase. "Atleast it's not coming up.." Destrey whispered to Kat. When they say haunted, they really mean it.

Jessie looked at Damion with a raised eye-brow. "You okay Damion?" She asked him as she had her hand on another door-knob. She was ready to open it until Damion said 'hi' to the darkness. Jessie looked down the hallway, spotting a weird figure pass down the hall. It was white, and deffinately not another human.

Kat mewed a little scared. She looked back down the stairs "Okay a few more stairs than where on the landing..." She said softly watching the mists hover around.

Damion sighed and followed after her "Creepy..." He said to her softly.

Destrey was now stopping on the step he was at. He wouldn't say he was scared, 'cause he was supposed to be strong for Kat. He had a fear of ghosts. Of course he wouldn't say anything. He took a deep breath and sucked in quite alot of air. "So um.." Destrey said to Kat, hesitating to take another step.

Jessie's hand was trembling. "Y-Yeah.." She said, quickly opening the door and running inside. She deffinately hated ghosts, and now she knew they were as real as ever. Jessie ran to a corner and sat down, "Well, this room is comfy." Jessie lied, looking around. It was small, heck every room was, and dark.

"So...." Kat looked at him. She sighed "Your scared of ghosts.... aren't you?' She asked him with a sly cat like smirk. She purred close to him and smiled "It's okay if you are." She said softly.

Damion looked around. He felt the wall behind him and turned on the light. He looked at her "You okay?" He asked her softly. Walking over to her he picked up a old sheet and handed it to her "Sacred of something?' He asked softly.

Destrey shrugged. "No... maybe.." He said, pausing. "Yes." He then sighed, taking another step down. One at a time. "So what? Ghosts should scare anyone." Destrey then had a thought, he was a vampire. Supposed to be a scary vampire, what scary vampire was afraid of ghosts? Destrey moved his purple hair out of his eyes.

Jessie took the sheet and stood up, slowly. She nodded, "Y-Yes. G-Ghosts." She said, taking a small step foward. The ghost had probably passed by already, the could go out there now. Jessie shuddered, the thought of a ghost waiting by the door for them. It was just to much, such a strange thought.

Kat nodded and took his hand in hers softly "Yours till a big scary vampire to me... even if your scared of ghosts.' She smiled than looked around "Okay... where on the bottom floor."

Damion nodded than smiled slightly at her "Come on.... Let's go..." He opened the door and looked around "All clear."

Destrey smiled and looked at her. "Mm, I think this is the part where I saw thank you.. so thank you." He said, turning the corner and beginning to walk again. "We deffinately know the front door is locked, it's rather obvious." Destrey said, looking behind him and staring at the large double doors. The biggest ones out of the eintire house. Well those were locked.

Jessie nodded, walking out of the room right behind Damion. She looked down the hallways, nothing to be seen. "Okay." She breathed out. "What now? Just continue on going?" She questioned Damion, letting him lead this time.

Kat smiled "Your welcome." She sighed and looked around. She sniffed than air and let go of his hand "Mouse." She mewed playfully and ran off following the sound of little mouse paws.

Damion nodded than took her hand softly "Let's go... I'll protect you." He smiled.

Destrey watched her run off into the darkness. "No! Wait-Kat!" He called after her, running after her. "Don't run off from me, you could get lost!" Destrey said, searching desprately for her. He sighed, still going in the same direction, hoping to see her. Destrey could see nothing but darkness, as usual. "Somewhere in the basement.." He muttered in thought.

Jessie smiled softly, "Thank you." She said, slipping her hand in his and letting him lead the way. She looked around, sighing. It's as if the night might be longer then usual. She looked out the window, the moon showed no intinion of moving.

Kat stopped chasing the mouse and looked around "Uh-oh...." She shivered and looked around "Des...." She looked around "Des where are you!?' She called out into the darkness. She mewed pitifully and started to look around. She shivered again than closed her eyes "Please not a ghost... Please not a ghost."

Damion looked out the window as well "Something strange is going on around here..." He said lowly. His gaze shifted to his night watch "It should be close to morning... Yet the moon hasn't started to sink...."

Destrey didn't hear Kat, she had wandered to far off. "Kat!" He called out, his voice echoing. He sighed, putting his hand to his forehead, looking down. His worst fear, being alone in the darkness with ghosts. He wasn't alone in the darkness upstairs, there was atleast a window that provided little light. Destrey looked around, not running or anything. "Kat!" He called out again, thinking to himself.. he needed to find the basement. There had to be a switch down there that turned all the lights on.

Jessie bit her bottom lip. "W-W-What if.. morning doesn't come?" She asked Damion. She would seriously go crazy if she was stuck in the darkness for longer then a night. Jessie used her wings to slowly lift herself off the ground, Jessie floated over to the window.. looking out it. She shuddered as she saw a grave-yard not to far from the house.

"Des!" Kat called running away form random objects being pelted at her. She was crying as she ran the way she came "Des where are you?!" She called out into the darkness.

Damion looked up at her. He blinked than asked "What do you see?"

Destrey heard a far off voice, it wasn't loud enough for him to understand. "Kat!" He called again, walking a bit faster. He used his hand to feel things to know where he was going. One hand was against a wall, the other was feeling ahead of him. "Kat, is that you?" Destrey yelled, his voice echoing everywhere.

Jessie floated back down. "A grave-yard. A big one to." She said, looking over at Damion. "That might be the cause of this place being haunted by ghosts." Jessie said, eyes wide with a little fear and surprise. She walked over to Damion, just to feel close to someone.

Kay ran towards the echo crying. She reached out after she felt something she grabbed it "Des? That you?" She asked after causing the figure to fall over due to her speed. She really hope it was... Than she hope it wasn't... For the fact she had fallen right on top of the figure.

Damion looked at her "Could be..." He said taking her hand to walk to another empty room "Let's wait here till they find the switch.... It would have to be in the basement..."

[[Kiki-Chan]]

Destrey fell, hard onto the wooden floor. "Ow.." He groaned, "Well.. found you." He muttered, looking up. He wasn't sure if he was staring at her or not, the darkness.. man. "We need to get to the basement." Destrey said to Kat, getting up and helping her to her feet. A smile spread across his face, thankful she couldn't see it.

Jessie nodded, sliding down onto the floor, using the wall for support. "So. Should we go and help? Just incase they aren't heading there?" She questioned Damion. She wasn't sure how much longer she could stand the darkness at this speed. Something was wrong.. morning wasn't coming.

Damion closed his eyes and let his strange demon powers take over he sat down on the floor and concentrated "Their almost there... Just a few more steps..." He said his eyes still closed.

Kat held tight on to his hand and sniffed a little. She didn't like the fact she had been crying... But she had.

Jessie nodded, scooting closer to Damion. There shoulders were touching, barely. "Sorry. Kind of scared still." She said as she held onto the blanket Damion handed over to her. Jessie held it up to her lips, in a sort of childish way. She looked around, eyes wide as she searched through the darkness.

Destrey lifted her to her feet, putting his arm around her shoulders in a comforting way. "It'll be fine." He comforted with a smile. "I think were almost there." He said, his eyes had adjusted to the darkness. He saw a metal door down the hall. "Hmm." He said in thought, making his way down the hall towards it.

Damion nodded and smiled slightly as he watched. He grunted "Damn Kat... Not that way." He said watching what the other two where doing.

Kat followed after him than turned around. She had an odd feeling. She hissed than ran off again.

Jessie watched Damion, with a questioning face. "W-Whats wrong?" She asked him, cuddling up with the blanket. She sighed and shook her head, begging inside her mind that Destrey and Kat would just get to the basement and turn the lights on before more ghosts find it appealing to walk past them. Jessie shivered at that thought.

Destrey turned around and yelled after her. "Kat! No!" He yelled, "Come back!" He groaned and put his hand to his forehead, as he had before. Why was she running off again? He had just found here and why would she do it again if she didn't like being lost the first time. Destrey sighed, "I'll be right here.. when your ready to come back!" He said. He knew the basement was through the door behind him, if he left.. who knows when he would find it again.

Damion sighed and opened his eyes :She's chasing after a poltergeist.." He got up "You stay here... Please Jessie." He said looking at her "I Need to stop her..."

Kat sniffed the air than turned left from where she was. She looked forward and flowed the small of, what she thought was, one on her old friend. She wasn't happy right then... She wanted her revenge.

Jessie snuggled even closer to the blanket, eyes as wide as the could possibly get. "P-Please.." She was about to tell him not to leave her, but he had to do what he had to do. After a few seconds she finally finished her sentence, "Please hurry." Jessie said, closing her eyes and looking down, finding her happy place. (xD)

Destrey slumped down against the metal door. He didn't want to go down to the basement alone, thats where the ghosts mostly lurk. He sighed, looking around hoping to see Kat coming back.. something. He wondered why she disappeared again, another rat?

Damion nodded and smiled at her "I will hurry." He said leaving. He shut the door and ran off. He jumped down from the top floor. He ran off and found Des. He stopped "Where's Kat?" He asked him looking around.

Destrey was suprised to hear a deep voice. "Uh- wha?" He said at first, "Oh um.. she ran off." He said, getting to his feet. "This door leads to the basement, I know it. But Kat just took off from me. Shes done this twice now.." Destrey said groaning. "Wheres Jessie?" He asked, noticing she was gone to.

"Jess is up in a room up stairs." Damion said looking around "The lights should be in the basement..." He looked at the Des "Go it's right on the stairs." He popped his knuckles 'She ran off after a poltergeist... Kat did.." He said with a sigh.

Destrey groaned and sighed. "Okay. Go after Kat, I'll turn the lights on, shouldn't be too difficult from there." He said, turning around and looking at the large metal door, as if hesitating. He then opened it, feeling a cold drift coming through. Destrey shuddered and walked inside, not closing the door behind him. Thankfully, there was nothing there.. yet.

Damion nodded and ran off to find Kat. He sniffed the air than yelled out "KAT!" A sound caught her ears and Kat stopped dead in her track. She looked around and sniffed before turning to run again. Damion sighed "Katharine don't move..." Kat blinked again "Hey don't call me-" "Than stay put!" Damion called out as he stopped where she was.

Destrey heard Damion call Kat's name, but he was to occupied in turning the lights on then listening to his surroundings. His heart was beating hard against his chest, he was more nervous then he thought. Well.. he was in a large, cold, dark basement.. possibly full of ghosts and spirits. Destrey used his hand as he felt the walls, trying to find the light switch.

Kat followed Damion back to where Des was. She bit her lip scared. She didn't mean to leave him again. She sighed softly and ran ahead of Damion. The male demon blinked and sighed following after her.

Destrey heard the metal door creak. He jumped and turned around, not really seeing anything. If he felt a presence and it was white, it would be a ghost. Destrey faced ahead again, still feeling across the walls for the light switch. He wondered how far he was supposed to go.

Kat found the door and went in "Des?' She called out softly.

Destrey didn't turn around, "Kat.. I see Damion found you." He called out. He was still feeling across the wall, nothing but the cold concrete. Concrete for wall.. yup. This basement was beyond weird.

Kat's senses perked up "here let's me help... You getting close." She said using her night vision "Reach left... you should feel a metal box..."

[[Kiki-Chan]]

Destrey nodded, moving his hands the the left of him. He felt a metal, cold box. "I've found it." He said, finding the handle. He gave it a good tug. "It's stuck.. hasn't been using in forever.. come help me!" Destrey asked Kat.

Kat grabbed Damion's arm and ran over to help. She placed her hand on top of Des' and helped pull. Damion sighed than started to help as well.

After a few minutes of continuing to tug on it, it finally budged and opened. Destrey let go, panting. "Thank god." He said, running his hand through the wires, looking for a switch. He finally found it, with a tug he pulled it down and all the lights flickered, turning on.

Kat mewed and covered her eyes. Damion smirked than left the room. Kat looked up at Des "So... What now?" She asked him grabbing her tail hugging it. Damion ran back up the stairs to Jessie. He opened the door "Jessie?" He called turning on the light.

Destrey sighed, closing the metal box. "Well, we can still go off and try to find out how to get of here still." He then closed his eyes gently, "But I'm exhausted, let's go take a small nap." Destrey said, looking at Kat. He took her arm and led her out of the basement, and began walking up the stairs once he found them.

Jessie was sitting in the, now, lit up room. the blanket was over her head and she was holding herself, shaking a little. "Y-You.. left me for to long.." Jessie whispered. "I-I-I was alone.. w-with.." She heistated, "Ghosts." She breathed out.

Kat followed after him and smiled. Her tail swished back and forth happily. She smiled and looked around with her eyes back to normal.

Damion went over to her and knelt down. "I-I'm sorry Jessie...' He said really meaning it. He smiled at her gently "B-But I did it so it would be light in here.... Now it is..."

Destrey looked back at her, "So.. why did you run off again?" He questioned her, giving her his usual smirk. He looked up, seeing that it was a winding staircase. A big one to.

Jessie took the blanket off, eyes red from fear and from crying. "There was.. so many ghosts when you left." She said, covering her eyes with her palms.

Kat looked up at him "I thought I smelled someone..." She said with a blush. She flicked her tail before adding "A guy i had a crush on.... but I was wrong..." She said softly.

Damion's gaze softened "I'm really sorry Jessie...." He put a hand on her shoulder softly

Destrey perked up when he heard that. He looked down at her, smiling still as he looked up at the staircase. They finally reached the top, his legs hurting. "Man.. these steps.." He complained with a groan.

Jessie took his arm, pulling him down and giving him a tight hug. She buried her head into his chest, closing her eyes. She planned on falling asleep. "It's okay.." She whispered softly.

Kat looked up at him and smiled before saying "I think these are the same stairs from before..." She said lowering one ear down.

Damion took a light pink to his cheek. he smiled slightly and closed his eyes lightly and looked out the window 'Night that never ends...' he thought to himself.

Destrey looked at her with a questioning face. "What do you mean? Of course they are.." He said, laughing a little. He then led her down the hall. "We'll sleep in the room with atleast a couch or something." He said, there had to atleast be rooms that weren't empty. This WAS a mansion after all.

Jessie soon fell into a light sleep, ready to wake up whenever she had, or wanted, to. She smiled, liking the feeling of being this close to someone.. especially Damion. He hadn't pushed her away yet, so he liked it to.

Kat nodded and smiled at him "Alright... Hope it's a bed... Couches aren't really comfy..." She said with a yawn. She smiled a little and looked out he window than at her watch "Um... It's suppose to be day time... Why is it still dark..."

Damion smiled and closed his eyes. Falling into a light sleep. Something about this girl was different... She seemed to make him feel like a different than other girls did...

[[Kiki-Chan]]

Destrey nodded. "I'm sure this mansion has atleast more then one bedroom." He stated, he looked out the window and slowed his pace. "Yeah.. theres supposed to be light on the horizon.. about morning." Destrey said, agreeing with Kat in some ways.

Jessie was still asleep, finding it more and more comfortable as Damion held her. She was smiling in her sleep, something she hasn't done in forever.

Kat nodded "Wonder what's going on..." She said curiously. She mewed a little frightened before moving closer to him "Something just gave me cold chills..." She said shivering slightly.

(We'll let Damion and Jessie sleep.)

Destrey looked down at her, "Just be thankful that the lights are on, and that since it isn't pitch black we can see where were going.. and we can't see any ghosts. I make no promises if we feel them though." Destrey said, shuddering. He reffered to feeling a cold spot, chills down your back and your hair is sticking up.

Kat nodded than pulled her tail close to herself. "Not taking any chances..." She said to herself as they walked. She looked at another door "Maybe a bed is in here." She said going over and opening it. Wouldn't you know it... Inside was a small bed "Hmmm We could both squeeze onto it."

Destrey looked away, face turning a bit pink. The bed was made for one, and he was tired. Searching for another bed, that was either bigger or had two beds was just to much of a hassel. "Hm, alright." He said, pulling Kat inside. Destrey wondered what room Jessie and Damion were in, and if they were okay. He pushed that out of his head and sat down on the bed. Destrey looked out the window that was in the room, the moon was still there. He sighed and looked at Kat.

Kat sat down on the other side of the bed than sighed softly. She looked back over at him. Her tail swaying slightly back and forth. her ears laid flat. Be she than realized what she suggested. A slight light pink crept onto her cheeks.

Destrey scooted way over to the side, pushing back and leaning against the wall. "I'm fine sleeping like this, you can have the rest of the bed." He said, smirking. He leaned his head against the wall, watching to see Kat's reaction. He knew she was a neko, Destrey knew she would want alot of room since nekos sleep crazy.

Kat shook her head "N-No.... You'll be fine on the bed with me... Unlike other nekos I can sleep normally..." She said with a slight mew "Plus...." She looked down "I don't like to sleep alone... I normally have something to hold while I sleep.

Destrey bit his bottom lip. He stuck his hand out, "Hold onto my hand, then." He said, smiling. He gestured for her to scoot up closer and either hold onto his leg or his arm. Destrey wasn't much of a person who likes to cuddle, sometimes his instincts get the better of him and he bits the person, sucking them dry of there blood. But Destrey doesn't always kill a person when he sucks there blood.

Kat nodded than took his hand softly in hers. She curled up and closed her eyes "Night..." She said softly before drifting off to sleep.

Destrey watched her, nodding softly. "Night." He said, finally closing his eyes and falling asleep.

Kat woke up some time later. She looked at her watch "Seven in the morning?" He looked out the window. than back at her watch, than at the window again "How is it still only night time?"

Damian yawned than started to wake up. He looked down at Jessie and smiled slightly at her.

Destrey woke up, wide-eye. He was starting to feel a little.. thirsty. He laid his eyes on Kat, seeing she was the only thing that could provide blood for him. Destrey bit his tougne, forcing himself to wait it out.

Jessie slowly opened her eyes, moving and getting up. She ruffled her hair and looked up, seeing Damion was still there. A sweet smile came across her lips.

Kat looked at him "What?" She asked him than remembered what he was "Oh.... Thirsty?' She asked him with a tilt of her head "If you don't kill me... I'll let you drink some from me..."

Damion held her closed "Morning... Well Night." He said looking at the window than her.

Destrey smirked, normally he wouldn't have done this and went off to find someone else.. but who else was there? He couldn't wait to find Jessie or Damion. "It might hurt a little, and I'll only take enough to hold me off." He said, leaning in on her and biting down her neck. As blood trickled down, he sucked it up, being gentle.

Jessie followed his gaze and looked out the window. She got up, looking down at the ground and then the sky. "W-What the?" She said. "It's still dark?" She questioned. Narrowing her eyes, what exactly was going on here?

Kat winced slightly than closed her eyes slightly as he drank. Such an odd feeling it was. She closed her eyes and kept a blank look on her face.

Damion nodded and sighed "Who knows what's going on up here.... This place is just strange..."

Destrey pulled her close, one hand on her back, the other holding her head as she continued. Finally finishing, he let go, whiping his bloody mouth. He didn't take to much, not wanting to kill Kat. "You okay?" He asked her, just incase.

Jessie nodded, "It's just so weird." She said sighing, reaching out a hand to help Damion to his feet. She wondered what Kat and Damion were up to. Jessie hasn't seen them since yesterday.

Kat nodded "yeah.... I'm okay..... Just a little lightheaded..." She said softly. She chuckled lightly "Nothing to worry about..." She said before her stomach growled "Oh my... I hope we can fine food..."

Damion took her heard than looked around "Wonder where they got off to..." His stomach growled "Ahh... I'm hungry..."

Destrey smiled, "I've gotten my fill. Sorry." He said, apologizing once more. He stood up, helping her off the bed, holding onto her incase she fell over. She would feel like that for awhile, until they got food of course.

Jessie backed away from the window and looked at Damion, hearing her stomach growl. "Yeah. Same.. well there has to be a kitchen here. What mansion does't atleast have more then one kitchen?" She asked, heading to the door. "It's probably downstairs.. lets just pray they have food." Jessie said.

Kat held onto him "I don;t think I can walk..." She said softly. Her eyes were unfocused. Think someone who is drunk... How they would act.

Damion nodded and fallowed her.

Destrey nodded, picking her up and swinging her over his back. "That's fine, I'll take you. Were heading downstairs, hopefully we'll run into Damion and Jess on the way." He said, making his way out and down the hall.

Jessie looked back to see Damion was right behind her. She smiled at him and looked ahead again.

Kat nodded and closed her eyes. She let her head fall onto his back softly.

Damion smiled and walked beside her. He blinked and looked behind him. A door opened "Des, Kat? That you guys?" He asked.

Destrey looked up, his purple, long hair fell into his eyes. If he tried to push it away, he would drop Kat. "Yeah, hey." He replied, smirking as he walked up to them.

Jessie looked over at Destrey and Kat. "Kat still asleep?" She said, giggling. "Well, me and Damion are trying to find the kitchen, wanna come?" She offered. She figured they would be hungry to.

"I'm not asleep... Just really lightheaded..." Came Kat's reply. She sighed softly and nuzzled her head into Des' back softly.

Damion gave a 'Don't really want to know, but at the same time want to know' look. He shrugged and smirked "Morning to you guys... even though it doesn't look like morning."

Destrey nodded, noticing that Damion didn't care if he knew what happened.. Jessie looked like, 'Better tell me or I'll scream' kind of look. "I was thirsty." Destrey said, stating it simply with a shrug. He looked out the window, "Yeah.. I noticed that to." He then began walking.

Jessie, wide-eye, was glad he didn't kill Kat. She waited for Damion, slipping her hand into his as they all made there way to the stairs. Maybe Destrey couldn't kill her even if he wanted to, or just didn't want to kill her. She sighed, biting her bottom lip as she wished the mansion was full of life.

Damion looked at the window and held Jessie's hand in his softly "Maybe it's trick of some sort..." He shrugged "Who knows... If we ever get out of here..."

Destrey saw the staircase, he made his way down it. Looking back to see Jessie and Damion slowly making there way. He looked at Kat, not really seeing her face. She was relaxing, which was good though.

Jessie gave Damion's hand a light squeeze. "Yeah." She whispered softly. What did they do to deserve such treatment? They weren't bad.. people thought they were freaks though. They didn't cause any harm. She sighed, some people out there were extremly cruel and would get punished for this.

Daion sighed softly and picked her up helping her onto his back "I hate humans some times... They never know when enough is enough..." He said walked with her on his back.

Destrey made his way down the stairs, looking down at the ground. Thank god there was light, if there wasn't.. he would probably trip and fall down the stairs. That wouldn't be a pretty sight. He wished he was already at the bottom.

Jessie blushed a little. "Thanks." She said softly. "I actually find humans.. interesting creatures." She said. Well heck, Jessie loved just about everything in the world. Even though this happened to her, she can find herself forgiving them in a heartbeat.

Kat started to feel a little more awake "We almost to the kitchen?' She asked softly to him.

Damion nodded "But they are dark creatures as well... They hold grudges.... Kill others, and do horrible thing to get rich quick..."

Destrey got to the bottom step. He looked up to see Jessie and Damion were almost there to. "Er.. uh. Not yet, just rest some more until you feel better." Destrey told her, more of an order.. but it wasn't in a rude way.

Jessie played with his white, long hair. She wasn't sure what to say next. Biting her bottom lip in thought, she placed a hand on his shoulder.

Kat nodded and closed her eyes again.

Damion smiled slightly. He liked having his hair played with... It was nice. He finally made it down the stairs to Des. He looked around "You reckon the kitchen is close by?"

Destrey looked at him, sighing. "Not sure. Let's go opposite ways. You go that way, I'll go this way." He said, pointing into different directions. Destrey took left, Damion took right. "Hopefully we can find it." He said, giving a quick nod, he was off.

Jessie smiled, continuing to play with his hair since he seemed to enjoy it. "Okay, bye Des! Bye Kat!" She said, waving and smiling at them. Jessie was glad to be stuck, alone, with Damion again.

Damion nodded and went off his way. He hummed softly as he walked. His eyes drifted side to side as he walked with Jessie on his back. He felt like singing a song... But thought agents it.

Kat was now fully asleep on his back..... again.

Jessie continued to play with his hair. Her eyes were in slits once he started humming. It was peaceful, and it made her tired. She wanted to stay awake though, just to help find the kitchen. Jessie was starving, plus she just woke up. She wasn't THAT tired.

Destrey continued off through the house. He groaned as he passed through a hall, still no kitchen. He glanced back, noticing Kat was asleep again. He grinned, looking ahead once more.
