OFFICIALLY STARTING! C:



It was good to finally be out of school, the air was warm and crisp and the carnival had finally come to town. The place was lit up in neon colored lights of the rides. Alex was with his friend Luther, taking in the thrills of the carnival. He defiantly wanted to win one of those cheap stuffed animal prizes. Right now he was testing his strength at that one game you always saw in the cartoons when they went to carnival. Whack the hammer on the base and if it strikes the bell the prize is yours! He put all his strength in it, whacked the hammer on the base and it the little device that is suppose to ring the bell went up about a foot. "DAMNIT" he yelled out throwing the hammer out of his hands. "This game was stupid anyways..."

The bell for the Merry-Go-Round rang and the unicorn Riley was riding began to go around in circles. He too was with a friend, or should I say best buddy? Lesley, but they called eachother by their nicknames. Riley's being Sharkie. He had his hood up his Chuck-E-Cheese's uniform under his jacket he didn't get time to change. He was looking rather upset. Which wasn't true, he was actually rather happy being on the Merry-Go-Round it made him smile, especially Lesley being there.

Sunny too was with a friend, Ai. She had her hands filled with the expensive food they served at the carnival. She had light pink cotton candy bigger than her head in one hand and a candied apple in the other hand. "Ai" she said "This carnival is going to be freakin sa-weeet"

"Really? I think it looks rather fun," Luther commented in a plain voice, paying the carnie for his own turn. He was handed a mallet, instant smile. He hoisted it up, put on a determined face, and slammed it down on the base. A loud ding was heard and his smile went away, his face now blank. "Oh..." he faced toward his friend, "sorry?"
A yellow seahorse doll was suddenly shoved in his face and he had no choice to take it.

As the bells rang Lesley's grey eyes went wide and he grabbed onto his friend's coat. "We shouldn't have tried to fit two on one..." he groaned in his head. Of course, Riley had insisted upon it and Lesley felt obligated to listen. After a few seconds it didn't feel exactly like a death trap, but Lesley was still a bit paranoid about falling off, still holding onto his friend's coat. He couldn't help but smile, though. The smell of caramel and manure, even though there was not a single animal to be found, filled the air and he took it all in with a smile on his face; this being his first carnival.

Walking next to Sunny, Ai, too, had hands full of purchased food. A hot dog in one, and blue cotton candy large enough to match Sunny's in the other. "Yup," she simply agreed, taking a bite out of her hot dog. "Y'know what would make it even more sweet?" she asked, but not giving enough time for her friend to answer but enough that it seemed like she was supposed to. "If Alex ended up bein' here!

Once he heard the ding, saw the yellow seahorse shoved to Luther, Alex was restraining himself from yelling. He made his hand into a fist about a hundred times before he sighed and knew there was a game out there Alex could kick Luther's ass in. "Let's go" Alex grumbled kicking an abadoned soda can as he went off to find another game they could play. He needed that prize. "Let's hit the bumper cars next" Alex suggested, pointing in the direction to get there. Although it wasn't a winnning game, it was a good excuse to ram cars into eachother. And Alex's anger was still there for sure.

Riley hummed the tune that could be faintly heard coming from the Merry-Go-Round. He noticed Lesley gripping at his jacket, he let go of his hold on the pole attaching the unicorn to the Merry-Go-Round and yelled rather loudly "NO HANDS!" having a big fat grin showing his sparkly teeth as he said it. Bad idea. He was caught off balance and fell off his and Lesley's magical unicorn and fell (luckily) on his back on the platform of the Merry-Go-Round. He let a small groan out of agony not able to get up.

Sunny wanted to slap a palm onto her forehead from hearing her friend bring up Alex possibly being here. It was unlikely, but then she realized ALOT of people from the high school were here so why not Alex? Plus, Luther might be there. She let a stupid smile on to her face thinking of that boy. She took a bite of her cotton candy which melted in her mouth "Do you want to like" she stopped for about two minutes and began having a giggle fit while saying "Look for him?"

Luther let a few chuckles escape, easily seeing how angry his friend was. He quickly followed him, randomly wondering if there were even any trash cans in this place. "Fine with me," he agreed, growing another smile. Alex wanted, no, needed to vent. Wiping away his smile, he went in the direction of Alex's finger, even going ahead of him.

"SHARKIE DON-" Lesley started to scream in protest but, before he could even finish what he was saying, his friend had fallen on the floor. Hard. "Ah!" he shrieked in his little high pitched voice and quickly jumped off, running to his fallen friend. He quickly dropped to his knees next to Riley, looking at the pain on his face. "Sharkie! Are you okay?! Speak to me!!"

Seeing her friend grin, Ai grinned too. It was just too stupid not to. But it was quickly wiped away from her giggle fit. "Uh..." she started, taking in a bit of cotton candy as well, "are you possessed or something?"
She sighed, shaking her head, "anyway, how could we find him? Its not like I planted a tracker on him...I swear I didn't."

Good because you really didn't have a choice... Alex thought as he began to march to the bumper cars. He'd notice alot of people from his school were here, which he wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. But there were 'the ladies' and that always let a small grin onto his face. He first saw two people with cotton candy (which he made a mental note to get later with Luther) and then recognized them. He nudged Luther "Hey, aren't those the chicks from health class? Ai and...uum..." he snapped his fingers "it's something cheerful I know that"

"HOLY SHET AI!" Sunny yelled not being able to hold in excitement from their luck. She pointed to the two boys they were looking for "There they are" She grinned, she was just about ready to go up and yelling something like 'Oh my god guys we were looking for you how odd!' but she quickly erased it and just stood there casually, nibbling at her cotton candy like she hadn't noticed them at all.

"Bad idea..." Riley groaned out, still lying there like he might have been shot down. His head was hurting a bit from the impact of the fall but other than that he was fine, besides his body hurting like hell. He waved his hand out for Lesley to grab "Pull me up Bryan?" he asked as the Merry-Go-Round game to a halt and the children on it began to get off. Riley frowned from not being able to finish the ride from his stupidity.

Luther trudged on, always a little ahead of Alex. His mind started to drift as he clutched his little seahorse, thinking of what he could be having for dinner or if Alex could actually win a prize at this carnival.
Suddenly, he was yanked out of his dream world by Alex stabbing his elbow into him. His ice eyes averted to them, he recognized them instantly. "Sunny," he filled in for his friend. "Her name is Sunny. Wanna say hi?" he finally faced Alex with a hopeful look.

"Huhwha?!" Ai panicked from Sunny's screaming as she looked to where her finger was pointing before she retracted it back to her cotton candy. She recognized them both instantly....mostly Alex.
"Oh, awesome!" despite her tone her face was kept straight. She grabbed her friend by the wrist and started to drag her over, waving to Alex and Luther with her hand full of food. "Let's go say hi!"

"Yeah, sure," Lesley smiled, now back to his quite tone as he took Riley's hand and attempted to pull him up. He miserably failed. "Sharkie...you gotta help me out a bit," he laughed a little.

Alex ignored his hopeful look "No" he said plainly, looking at his nails like he didn't care. "They're already coming over anyways so why bother and act like we care enough to say hi or not?" He bit the inside of his mouth looking over at Ai dragging her buddy over while waving and hands full of food. "You have no skill with trying to be cool do you Luther?" He stomped his foot on the ground "Damnit you can't just act like a tard and say hi to some girls in health cla-" his arguement was cut off because Sunny and Ai were already there by them.

"Hi Luther!" Sunny grinned, she too waving to them, still with the hand of cotton candy. "and Alex" Sunny added not wanting to shine all her attention on the boy with the nosering. "You guys are at the carnival too?" Sunny sighed "It seems like the whole school is here!" she said, she was talking really fast, she would be suprised if they even understood her. She took a bite from her candied appple to shut herself up.

Riley managed to get up on his feet "Ugh" he grumbled as he rubbed his head. His body was aching, but he wasn't going to complain and make Lesley not enjoy the carnival from his complaints. Best buds didn't do that. "I'm good" he assured his friend "What do you want to do now?" he asked smiling as he got off the Merry-Go-Round seeing a carnie get angry from them being on the ride for so long but not coming over to see if Riley was ok.

"You're the tard," Luther whispered to Alex, making sure the girls didn't hear. "Monologueing to yourself while pretty girls are heading towards us."
He faced the two, attempting to grow a smile but it didn't turn out too well. "Yeah," he agreed, understanding the blonde perfectly, "everybody and their grandmothers, really."

"Hi guys," Ai said softly, getting lost in all the conversations happening around them as well as their own. She took in the last bite of her hotdog and held the cotton candy down low with both hands to let her arms rest. Deciding not to get into the conversation, her eyes glanced over to the Whack-A-Mole game beside them, occasionally catching a quick stare of Alex.


"Um..." Lesley started, but noticed the carnie coming over to them. He waved him away, signifying that his friend was okay, or at least that's what he told him.
"Um..." he said again, turning back to Riley once more. "Whatever you want to do," he smiled, "I really don't care. You know more than me about the carnival anyway."

Alex kept on grumbling, first at Luther's comment and then at Ai who kept on looking at the darn whack-a-mole. He didn't like being ignored "Hey.." he said, mostly to Ai. "How about" he said as he kept on walking now ahead of he group "We go to bumper cars? Me and Luthey were headed over there and it'd be more fun if you guys come along because we all know Luther really sucks at that game" he smiled at Luther a look saying 'I want to impress these girls pleaes don't kill me for insulting you'.

Sunny looked at Ai for the answer, not sure what answer she should give. Ai was eyeing those moles that needed to be whacked, so would she want to bumper car with them? She looked at the food still in her hands, and decided to send her candied apple to the trash. It didn't taste that good anyways...

"Want to get something to eat?" Riley suggested, funnel cake did seem rather tasty at the moment. And the sweet smells of the food were working their way to want him to be rather hungry. "We can like...get our picture taken or something afterwards I'm sure theres a photobooth here..."

Luther frowned at Alex, walking slowly ahead of the group as well. "Well, at least good at a game you actually get a prize from," he smiled, holding out his seahorse. "You reject my look, I reject yours...," he thought to himself, grinning wildly at Alex. He turned around to the girls, wiping off his grin and replacing it with the awkward smile again, waiting for their answer.

"Oh...yeah, sure!" Ai hesitated at first by being taking out of her glancing session. She looked at Alex, laughing a little. "Luthey?" she questioned, skipping up to join him. "Sounds like a name for a gay lover," she joked, looking ahead now as she threw some cotton candy into her mouth.

"Sounds great," Lesley assured him, starting to walk off of the platform like the angry carnie's face told him to. "What kind of food do they have at carnivals? Like, turkey legs and stuff?"

Alex was about ready to knock the stupid seahorse out of Luther's hands he was boiling up with anger. But what Ai said had got on his nerves quite more. "It's not a gay lover name!" he protested "I think your cotton candy is drugged or something" he commented, although, now that he thought about it it did sound like a gay lover name.... but he wasn't allowed to be wrong. He stormed off faster to the bumper cars, his anger really needed to get out now.

Nibbling on her cotton candy still, Sunny stayed in the sidelines not wanting to get in the way of Alex a.k.a. Mr. Grumpy pants. So she moved over right next to Luther with a big smile on her face. "So, are you enjoy yourself Luther?" In her opinion it sounded like a therapist question. But hey, she'd sure love to be his therapist... ok...The sugar was going to her head.

Riley tried to think back to when he was a child at the carnival. He hadn't gone to one since he was eleven "I don't know..." He bit on his lip, thinking. " I know they have like funnel cake, cotton candy, pizza, hotdogs... mostly not so healthy food"

"Aww, Aley! Don't be upset," she called after him, laughing still.
She looked at him rush away with a smile as she nibbled on some more cotton candy. Before she knew it they had already found their way to the bumper cars. She looked at her cotton candy sadly, she didn't even get to finish it. Oh well, no food allowed on the rides...and she couldn't miss a bumper cars game. She skipped over to the nearest trash can, unnecessarily slam dunked her cotton candy bag into it, and skipped back to the group.

"Yeah," Luther answered simply. "Alex is being a cranky head,
but we can't really help that."
He couldn't help but smile a tad, his friend did seem like he had sand stuck in his ass most of the time.
As soon as Luther saw the bumper carts getting closer, he rushed over to them, grabbing onto Sunny's hand to pull her realizing they were the ones in the back.

"Oh," Lesley shrugged slightly, "should have expected that," he let out a small laugh and smiled up to his friend. "Let's go eat hot dogs! I feel like if we eat pizza...we'll look too obsessed with our jobs," he pointed at his Chuck E. Cheese uniform. "Then we can get some funnel cake after!"

"I'm not upset" He said, but he pretty much made the arguement die because he then asked "Hey Ai, sit next to me in the bumper cars will you?" He had climbed over the entrance gate rather than push it open, waiting for Ai and the slow pokes Luther and Sunny. He really needed to ram a car that had Luther in it about one thousand times before the anger would decide it would stop invading Alex's day.

Oh my Mr. Luther why are you holding my hand?! It was the silly thought that got into Sunny's mind. But she didn't dare say it, so she just followed him silently to the bumper cars but didn't release her hand from his grip. Once she reached the bumper cars where Alex and Ai were she took her hand away from Luther's grip and ran to Ai. "AAAI!" she smiled hugging her. "You and me have to be bumper buddys!"

Alex stared at her for awhile"I already called her" he growled, looking over at Ai like she was his property now. "But-" Sunny protested
"TOO BAD!"
Sunny huffed "Fine," she looked over frantically for Luther then found he was standing next to her "Me and Luther are bumper buddies then"


Riley nodded, going over to one of the foodstands, ordering the food and then waiting for the people to give them their order. "uum" he said, he couldn't really think of a conversation to strike. "So, any plans this summer Bryan?"

"Um...." Ai had no idea what to say; she had just been fought over like a toy. Regardless, she hopped over the gate, following Alex. "Sure you're not upset?" she said quiter, but still had her teasing tone. She went ahead of him, not really expecting her question to be answered, and jumped in a car, patting the seat next to her. "You get driver's seat!"

"Um....okay then?" Luther kept his blank face, not sure what to feel about the strange scene that went on before him. Too lazy to jump over like the other two, he opened the gate and casually walked through, of course making sure Sunny was following.

Lesley looked at his friend quizzically, snickering a little after of his friend trying to force a conversation. "No, Sharkie, you know that," he grinned.

Alex plopped himself into the sparkly black bumper and grinned at Ai. "This is sure to be fun" he assured her. The bell to begin the five minutes of non-stop ramming into other cars began and Alex took it all in, crashing into some little girl's car about twenty times each time yelling "HA-HA!" rather loud. He kept a sweet grin on his face every minute of it, and if someone dared to bump into Ai and his's car...let's just say he crashed into them rather hard and sometimes even giving them the finger.

Luther and Sunny were in a sparkly yellow car (in which Sunny squealed seeing the color she liked so much), Sunny had given him the driver's seat. She mostly just watched, going back and forth between frown and smile. Smiling because Luther was beside her and frowning because they were everyone's main target.

After Riley and Lesley had finish their 'lovely' meal, Riley had grabbed his friend's hand dragging him over to a photobooth. He was so happy they actually had it this time unlike when he was eleven and it had gone missing. "Dude, I'm keeping these pictures till I die. And then when we're like...fourty five and have wives and children we'll be all like 'Oh my god we looked like such nerds'" He smiled at Lesley assuring memories would stay for that long and they would still be best buddies. He got into he photobooth dragging Lesley in with him getting a few stares from the people passing by.

Ai's eyes went into panic, becoming even more wider than usual. 'He's hitting people right off the bat!' she thought to herself, her head now spinning as she grabbed onto the plastic dashboard. "Woo-hoo!" she found herself shouting, surprised at herself. Did she actually find smashing into plastic cars driven by helpless little children fun? Apparently so.

"We're getting hit a lot because you chose the color that shouts 'hey! look at me!'," Luther complained for the upteenth time, at this point just trying to avoid the other people rather than hitting them.

"Whatever Sharkie," Lesley grinned, laughing at exactly the humor he loved from him. To match his friend, Lesley felt obligated to stick up his hood as he was dragged in the photo booth by him. "I actually don't think I've ever been in one of these before..." he commented, looking around. "When does it start taking the pictures?"

Sunny frowned, pouted, crossed her arms and looked the other way. Ignoring Luther's presense for the time being as he was barely even hitting any other cars. She saw his seahorse next to him getting...well, an idea.

Hearing Ai yelling 'woohoo' just made Alex want to ram into cars more than he did a few seconds ago. By now he was ramming into cars like crazy. Then...the bell rang. It was over. It was all over, and how beautiful it was getting. Alex sighed and got out of his bumper car and held out a hand for Ai. "Hey" he finally said "I've been spending alot of time with" he stopped real quick and saw two people he had rammed into about a million times give him an angry look, he yelled back "BITE ME" but they just kept on walking.. "Okay... anyways, I've been spending alot of time with Luther maybe you want to" He scratched the back of his head "Go on the ferris wheel or something with me?" His eye contact with her died, he got nervous around girls sometimes. But he really needed to score a girl tonight, and Ai was just freakin sa-weeet.

Once the bumper cars ended Sunny grabbed hold of his seahorse "I'm taking this because you were an ass to me" she told him before getting out of bumper car and getting away from the ride as soon as possible. She'd probably hide it or something, but she sure was upset with the whole "We're getting hit a lot because you chose the color that shouts 'hey! look at me!'," comment.

"After we put in the money doofus" Riley said, he dug in his pocket for a dollar and then fed it to the machine. He yanked Lesley closer to him and smiled for the first picture but then began to gradually let his smile vanish- thats the look he liked and usually looked best at doing.

As soon as the boy she pretty much idolized shouted "BITE ME" at people who probably weren't even paying attention, Ai lost it. She giggled widly, unable to stop and covered her mouth. Ignoring Alex's hand, she got up on her own. "Alex," she said in between giggles, "you have problems."
She finally stopped and looked at him; noting once again how odd it is to look at him without her shady lenses shielding her eyes. "I'll go anyway, though," she smiled, turning to Sunny. "Eh...? She's leaving without me? Guess I won't tell her then..." her smile faded as she watched her friend run away from the ride, something clutched in her hand.

"Huh? W-wait!" Luther yelled after Sunny and his precious, precious seahorse. He grunted, deciding he'd have to run for once, and did so after Sunny. "Guh...why do girls seem to hate me....and steal my stuffed toys?"

"Not a doofus," Lesley stuck his tongue out at Riley, unknowingly taking his first picture that way. The next one he was confused from the flash, then finally had a smile for the rest. As soon as he was sure the camera had stopped, he stepped out of the booth to eagerly check the pictures. Just as he was about to grab them, a sugar coated hand did so before him. "W-what?" he didn't even know exactly what to say in this situation. Who would want to take away a picture of someone and their best friend like that?

Alex rolled his eyes, stuffed his hands in his skinny jean pockets angered that she hadn't grabbed the hand he had offered. He walked towards the ferris wheel, which was lit up in leon lights, very high, and looked rather fun. Luther wasn't around to tag along (thank god, Alex needed this time alone) and Sunshine girl had left. So that just left him and Ai. Oh my god... both of our names begin with A's. Does that mean it's meant? Alex shook the thought away and kept on walking. He finally stopped and looked over at Ai "Did you want to go with me?" he asked "I mean if you're just doing it not to be rude forget it..." he bit his lip hard enough for skin to break and for blood to creep out.

Sunny ran as fast as she could, every now and then looking to see if Luther was behind her but he probably lost her in the crowd. She finally trip on a soda can. Damn you Dr. Pepper she thought reading the label on the soda can as she got up, she was out of breath and hid between two game booths. Hoping no one would notice her. She now took the moment to think that Luther might beat the living daylights out of her.. she could easily be mistaken as a long haired boy hell, that's what Luther pratically was.

Riley got out of the photobooth a few seconds after the picture snatching "What the hell why are there only two strips of pictures?" he asked picking them up. Then he noticed the fat boy with the sugar covered hands with something in his hand and instantly ran after him. "GET BACK HERE YOU PUNK!" he yelled, he noticed the kid running faster and Riley picked up his pace weaving through the crowd. Now, he was inches away from grabbing the boy's shirt collar but slammed into glass....a glass tank. Filled with fish. He instantly fell over for the second time today and laid there grumbling and... defeated

"What?" Ai questioned, sharply turning her head to face Alex. "Where did that come from?"
She sighed, deciding against taking Alex's hand into her own and decided to just clasp her hands together, now looking ahead.
"Alex, I genuinely wanted to go with you. Both to the ferris wheel and just to be with you."
She had to admit, she was very surprised at herself. Not only did she talk in a calm town, but she had actually managed to say what she wanted to say without sounding stupid. Or at least she hoped...
She faced him again, smiling once more, "biting your lip is bad for you, y'know?"


"Well this sucks...," Luther commented to himself, not bothering to keep it inside because no one he really cared about was around him. Did everybody just feel like ditching him today?
"Ugh...Sunny!" he shouted, tired of looking for her already; not even thinking about looking between game booths. "I'm sorry!" he yelled again and sighed, leaning against a random booth.

Without a word, Lesley started running after his friend. "Oh, Sharkie! Why do you do these things? It was just some silly pictures!"
He almost wanted to smack himself for that. No time now, he had to find his friend.
"Glass!" he whispered to himself, knowing his friend probably ran into it. As always. Sure enough, he looked down and his friend was on the floor again. "You just keep on falling don't you?" he smiled, holding a hand out for his friend.

Alex instantly stopped biting his lip and looked at the ground, shrugging. "I don't know, you really didn't have a choice with your friend and Luther vanishing" His eye contact remained on the hard ground, "But I guess I'm glad to you hear you say you wanted to go because of me" He didn't even mention that she wanted to go for the ferris wheel too, it was his time to shine damnit! He brought his eyes back up to gaze at Ai's and pasted a smile on his face.

Sunny looked at the green seahorse in her hand, and then Luther. She sighed and threw the stupid stuff animal at him since it was obviously what he was looking for. She stayed there, sitting 'indian style' between the booths wondering if Ai was still waiting for her if she had thought she had run off with Luthey Either way she stayed hiding, waiting for a reaction from the boy.

"Yeah" Riley agreed grabbing his friends hand. His forehead (barely) bleeding from the crash into the stupid fish tank. He pulled himself up and began dusting himself off. "I think this carnival wants me dead or something" he looked at Lesley "You got the pictures that jerk didn't take right?"

"Good," Ai put simply, not really sure what else to say. She copied his smile, then faced forward again, towards the ferris wheel.
"We're here!" she shouted, going back to her usual self and running closer. "There's such a short line too, this is awesome!" she said, stopping almost as if to admire everything before he. She jumped in line, waving Alex over. After this ride stopped it would be their turn.

Luther turned immediately to look at whatever had just, out of nowhere, attacked him at the back of the leg. "Oh...there you are Mystery," he bent down to pick up the seahorse. "Sunny, where are you?" he called again, half-doubting for her to be around. "I'm sorry, I'll even treat you to ice cream, okay? Just come out."
"Losing someone at a carnival is pathetic..."


"Uh...no, we can go back-" Lesley started, looking at the floor ashamed and utterly stopped when he noticed the blood dripping from his best friend's forehead. "OH MY--! YOU'RE BLEEDING!" he shouted, pointing to his forehead weakly. "You're dying!!" he couldn't stop at this point. He grabbed his friend's hoodie, shaking him back and forth, "you're dying! My best friend is dying! This damn carnival is cursed!"

Alex squinted his eyes from the bright neon lights coming from the ferris wheel. Finally, the ride ended and after people got off Alex and Ai slowly made their way through the short line. Within minutes they were actually sitting down on the ferris wheel seats Alex inches away from Ai. He looked the other way, trying to remember how many times the ferris wheel went around. He ended up biting his lip causing it to bleed more from the worrying and nervous-ness.

Finally, Sunny came out of her 'hiding' but she just stood there arms crossed. If she heard the words ice cream there was no doubt she'd come out from hiding, especially if it was going to be free. "But I want to go on the tea cups tooo." She complained, acting like a child despite her tall apperance.

Riley let his friend shake him back and forth like a ragdoll for a few minutes before grabbing ahold of his shoulders and saying "STOP IT" he breathed in and wiped what little blood was on his forehead. "This place is not cursed Bryan you're just being silly. And I'm not dying it was a little bit of blood stop overreacting" he informed him, but he couldn't help but to smile while saying it. Lesley could be so silly at times, but Riley didn't mind at all. "C'mon" he said grabbing ahold of his wrist "We need to get back to the photobooth before someone takes our pictures AGAIN"

"Geez," Ai sighed, showing Alex and embarrassed smile. "First you're all upset, next you're nervous?"
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You really are an emo kid, aren't you?"
she shook her head while thinking. "Lighten up, Alex!" she shot her head towards the sky, pointing towards it. "You can already see the stars coming out!"

Luther turned around to the voice of Sunny, grinning at her plea. "Fine, we'll go on the tea cups," he stated, walking closer to her. "I assume you know where they are?"
"Because I sure dont..."
He clutched "Mystery", matching Sunny's childish behavior. "And do we have to go nowwwww?" he whined, seeming to make the word last forever until he shut himself up.


"B-but," Lesley stuttered, immediately pulling his hands back to his side when his friend yelled. Was it so bad to worry about his friend this much? Sure, now it was only a little blood, but later he could be devoured by a pack of wild coyotes...or something. His worries were driven away when his friend grabbed onto his wrist, ordering to go back and grab the photos. "Okay," he quietly agreed, following Riley back to the booth.

The ferris wheel began, and Alex watched as they were lifted higher into the air. "Yeah, you can.." he was plainly, he was glad he didn't have to make eye contact with Ai anymore and could just focus on the stars and the carnival below him. When they were on the tippy-top of the ferris wheel Alex let out a fake yawn stretching his arms into the air, and then putting one arm around her shoulder. He grinned as he did it, breathing in the fresh air, and looking down at the carnival wondering if he could indentify which tiny dot was Luther.

Sunny frowned, it wasn't funny him doing her act. "Yes we do b!tch" she turned her frown upside down and grabbed Luther's hand as she skipped into the crowd. "I'm just kidding, anyways- to the tea cuuuuups! And then ice cream" She smiled finally showing her teeth, you could see she had a nice pair of braces on her teeth, neon pink and blue. Looking back at him, she skipped faster, not actually sure where the tea cups were.

Riley marched all the way back to the photobooth, rather fast incase someone stole their pictures.By the time they got there nothing was there but the stupid photobooth. Or was there? Riley picked up a strip that looked similar to the ones the photobooth gave at, it was faced backwards and when Riley flipped it over he frowned because it was them but written on it was "emo fags". He sighed and put it down. "Let's just go..." He suggested as he didn't give Lesley a choice because he was already walking off, still frowning.

Ai grinned, not actually paying so much attention to Alex as she was to the stars peeking out. That is, until his arms were suddenly placed around her. She could feel her face get hot, but only because her body never seemed to be on the same level as her mind. "You're like, molesting me, Alex," she faced him, smiling devilishly.

Looking after her, Luther sighed. Couldn't this girl stay still for one minute? Nevertheless, he sped after her, finally getting by her side.
"Guh..." he almost sighed, but decided against it; he was sure he would piss this girl off and lose her yet again. "Why couldn't we have gotten the ice cream first? I'm already tired of being knocked around by mechanical rides..."

"W-wait!" Lesley ran after Riley, utterly clueless as to why the boy had run off in the first place. "Where are we going?" he asked his friend as soon as he caught up, out of breath. He looked up at Riley, immediately picking up on his frustration, and caught a sad expression. What happened? Best not to ask. He looked around, looking for something that could cheer Riley up.
"Oh!" he grabbed his friend's wrist, spotting the wall of balloons just waiting for darts to be thrown at them. "Let's go there, Riley!" he looked up him, slapping on a smile just to cheer him up.

Alex made eye contact with Ai again, letting out a very, very, very nervous laughter. "What?" he said not removing his arm around her shoulder. "Why the hell would you think I was molesting you? I just have my arm around your shoulder what's so bad about that?" You could clearly spot out where Alex seemed nervous and worried, which was pratically throughout his whole little 'speech' on how he wasn't doing what Ai thought. His face got a bit hot, not red, just hot. He sighed turning away from Ai and whistling tapping his free hand on empty space of the seat. I'm not.......am I? Oh god maybe I am.... He thought but soon enough got a grip on himself and told himself over and over that an arm around a shoulder was not even close to molesting.

Sunny finally spotted the teacups, every teacup filled except for one, she quickly went over to claim the teacup. Sure enough she got it, and she sat down smiling at Luther. Not taking notice that this was a VERY childish ride, and that everyone here were children. Not even parents, seriously all children except for her and Luther. She let her smile slowly fade out as she looked at the little 'munchkins' around them stare at her and Luther. She looked at the wheel that made the teacup spin around "Ya ready?" she asked grinning as she took grip of the wheel.

"Eer... okay" Riley sighed "I don't think I'm going to play though... sharp objects will probably somehow lead to something bad" He had already fallen off a Merry-Go-Round and rammed into a glass wall he didn't want to end up with a dart in his eye. He pulled out a dollar handing it to Lesley, he wasn't expecting to pay but he wanted to because of the photobooth incident even though it was neither of their faults.

"Oh, Alex..." Ai giggled, covering her mouth again, but her giggling didn't cease. "You're so...., oh, I don't even know."
She finally stopped, sighing and gazing at Alex. "Buuuuut," she made the word last as long as it took her to pluck Alex's arm off her shoulder. "No molesting until you ask me on a proper date," she told him, waving a finger even. The stars caught her attention again, or more like she really didn't want to look at Alex right now, she could feel her face growing red cheeks. "Wouldn't it be cool if we saw a shooting star?" her tone was quite again.

Luther didn't even have a smile to begin with, but he slapped one on for Sunny as she looked at him, but he didn't dare put his hands on the wheel. He felt that somehow his hands couldn't keep up with hers. "Um...yeah, ready," Luther tried to sound at least normal when he was really nervous. This wasn't his kind of ride.

"Awww," Lesley whined, grabbing the dollar anyway and dragging him over to the booth. "Just watch me, okay?" he smiled to his friend before giving the carnie the dollar.
"Let's hope I can do this..." he thought, holding the darts to his heart then holding them up to the balloons. In the back of his mind, all he really wanted was to just not hit Sharkie with the darts. He threw a dart.

He smiled to himself, actually feeling good for once.
He went from slightly happy to overwhelmed as he heart one pop after another until all the darts were gone.
"Which one do you want, young lady?" the carnie asked, giving a sweet smile to him and pointing to the toys hanging above her.
He didn't phase at the carnie's confusion of his gender, this was all about his friend for now. He pointed to a black shark plushie, "that one."
It was instantly handed to him and he took it, turning to Riley. "Sharkie for Sharkie?"

Alex frowned, his arm plucked off from around her shoulder, he now had his arms folded like he didn't care.That was so not molesting....he told himself as he growled under his breath. "Yeah it would be cool if we saw a shooting star" he slipped a smile onto his face. The ferris wheel went almost one more time around before Alex had to squint his eyes because he saw something bright and moving, finally he grabbed Ai's arm and starting to shake it "HOLY SH!T" he yelled out "Oh my god that's a shooting star!!!!" he shouted pointing and just spazzing, he almost forgot to 'make a wish'. Uuum, i wish for...uuum...a taco. yeah! I'm kind of starving right now...And my mom to get runover by some zebras or something, she's freakin annoying. Sh!t! that was two wishes, that's okay right?

Sunny grinned looking over at Luther as she began to spin the wheel very, very fast. Which of course, made the teacup go at warp speed. The whole time she was giggling like a looney, smiling and look at the blurs around her because she was going that fast. She never slowed down, she sped up and up. Trying to make the teacup go as fast as it could. Finally she let go of the wheel, it spinned for quite awhile and then finally slowed down. Sunny grinned "LETS DO IT AGAIN!" she yelled reaching for the wheel one more time.

Riley smiled "Sure" he said taking the black shark that Lesley had offered him. He kept his smile on for about... five seconds. He turned to the carnie "By the way its young man" he told the girl working at the booth. He put a hand on Lesley's upper chest "See? No boobs" He didn't like people mistaking him for a girl, it annoyed Riley probably more than it annoyed Lesley.

"What?! What?!" Ai's eyes widened as her arm was suddenly grabbed and the boy next to her was spazzing out. "There is no need to curse!" she yelled one last time and looked harder at the sky. With her adrenalin pumping and heart thumping against her chest she really felt like exploding at what she saw.
"Alex...," she couldn't help but let out a laugh, even though it was kind of distressed. "That's just an airplane."

After Luther's wish had been granted and Sunny had finally stopped the tea cup at warp speed, he gripped onto the ridges, scared he was somehow going to tumble out of the damn thing. "No...," he mumbled, still gripping tightly. "We are not going on that thing again," he threw his head back. At this point, he really just felt like he needed to puke.

Lesley sighed, and even though he was embarrassed he smiled a tiny smile. Until his chest was, out of nowhere, grabbed.
He looked down, his face suddenly red. "I really wish you would tell me before you grab my chest."

Despite Ai telling him he didn't need to curse, Alex couldn't help but sigh and say "Sh!t..." he looked at the airplane up the sky, glaring at it. Mostly because the taco(or mom getting run over by zebras) wasn't going to come true. Why the hell did he even believe that shooting stars in the first place? "Well this ferris wheel ride has sucked" He said outloud really only talking to himself "Can't put my arm around a girl's shoulder because it's labeled molesting and now my shooting star was an airplane" he grumbled. The ferris wheel was going around for the fifth and final time now.

Sunny pouted but obeyed Luther since she had caused so much trouble with the whole 'I'm going to steal your seahorse now betch!' act. She got off the teacup the 'munchkins' still looking at her. She stuck out her tongue and then turned to Luther. "Do you still want to get icecream?" If he happened to say 'no' Sunny would be even more disappointed and the seahorse might get taken away again..since it was so precious to him. Why is it so precious to him? Sunny thought Does he have an obession with stuff animals or seahorses or something?


Smiling, Riley removed his hand from his chest. "Sorry" he said nervously looking away from his friend the shark in his hand. He looked at the ferris wheel, which was probably the biggest ride they had here. He nudged his friend "Hey do you want to go on the ferris wheel?" he asked, there wasn't much else to do except for booth games and that might lead to a bunch of money wasted or a bunch of prizes to carry around.

Ai pouted, looking at Alex. She didn't dare say what was bothering her. Well, more like she couldn't actually put into words what it was. She sighed, though, she didn't like it when Alex was grumbling and talking to himself like the frustrated emo he was. "You...can put your arm around me if you want," she said, not able to pick a tone so she went with none. "I'm sorry the ferris wheel sucked for you...," she hung her head, using a quite voice once again.

"Yeah!" Luther propped up, instantly gaining his health back. Before finally leaving the death trap of doom that was the teacup ride, he grabbed Mystery and darted off until he was far enough away.
After he finally scrambled together with Sunny, he put on a small smile. "What kind of ice cream do you like?" he inquired, genuinely interested. "My favorite is rasberry sherbert."

"Ferris wheel?" Lesley questioned as if he had never even heard the word before. He looked to the direction his friend was, the large structure immediately catching his eye. "Wow! That looks so heady!" he smiled, not caring he let one of his dictionary words slip.

"Thank you" Alex said like the ass.hole he was being at the moment. He put his arm back around Ai's shoulder. "You know we were on this ferris wheel for almost five times and we never really said anything about ourselves" He said in a tone of disappointed. He bit his lip again, looking away from Ai, it was one his face, no way he could deny it. The nervous look of a silly sixteen year old with a girl, at the moment Alex just wanted to leave the ferris wheel, even if it meant a jump for his death. Sadly, he couldn't, so he stayed there lip still being bitten and mumbling words to himself.

"uuuum" Sunny said thinking "I like alot" she finally answerd "There's way too many to choose from, cookie dough, cake batter, strawberry, chocolate...uh...yeah" she smiled. She looked around for an ice cream stand or something atleast saying they served ice cream. Instead she found the ice cream of the future "OH MY GOD" she shouted out with glee "Dip'N dots I haven't had these in years" she looked over at Luther "um...er....do you like dip'n dots?" she asked giving him a nervous, brace-faced smile.

Riley smiled, mostly at the mention of the word heady which he had no clue exactly what the defention was but it must have meant something like- cool or exciting. He stuffed his hands(and his shark) in his jacket pocket as he walked over to the big, neon spinning wheel.

"Um...well," Ai started, wishing dearly that she hadn't allowed Alex to put his arm back around her. Despite her joking about it, she really did feel like she was being...well...molested. There was no other way to describe the feeling that turned her face hot and made her turn another way, trying to banish the feeling.
"I don't like to talk about myself," she slurred as the ride came to an end. She anxiously broke free of Alex's grip, jumping out of the ferris wheel car all together.

"Of course," Luther put simply, not wanting to--or probably even unable to react like Sunny did. Then again, he ate ice cream a lot, including the so-called "ice cream of the future". "Wanna eat there?" he faced her, immediately wanting to hit himself. Of course, idiot, he told himself.

Feeling rejected Alex got off of the ferris wheel seat. He sighed, walking over to Ai. He really wanted to ditch her at the moment but that was a little rude now wasn't it? And he didn't want to be responsible for something happening to her and him not being here. So he was stuck there until he found Luther or Ai found Sunny or they all found one another.

Once Riley and Lesley were pretty close to the ferris wheel Riley thought he saw a familiar face. "C'mon" he told his friend grabbing his wrist like he had many times today. Once he was close enough he knew who it was. He recognized her orange hair, and how it was spiked in the back. He also noticed that a boy was with her Alex. Alex could be a real jerk sometimes, well, actually most of the times so Riley really didn't care or him "Oh my god Ai?!" he questioned ignoring Alex and Lesley. Him and Ai were friends, not best friends forever and evers like Lesley but they were still friends.

Alex look at Riley shrugging, sliding a piece of watermelon gum into his mouth. He looked over at Lesley who was at the moment being ignored by his 'best friend forever'. Alex wondered if it crushed his heart if Riley didn't pay attention to Lesley all the time. Either way he decided to strike a conversation "Hey Lesley" he said ruffling his hair, and refusing to call him Bryan. "So, are you gay with Riley yet?" he asked, chewing his gum while talking. "I mean" he shrugged "It's no big deal, alot of cool people are gay. Like Elton John. Or is it David Bowie...? Maybe it's Bob Dylans.. anyways its one those old people"

Instead of being the sarcastic b!tch she was going to be, Sunny just nodded "Yeah" she smiled, "They even have your favorite see?" Sunny said pointing to the rasberry shebert dip n dots. "I want the banana split one" She was about to get out her little purse her mother made her bring but then she remembered Luther had said he'd treat her to ice cream. So she waited like a little kid waiting for her mother or father to pay. Keeping the smile on her face.

Hearing her name called, Ai whipped around. Then she realized it was a familiar voice, her 'gaming buddy' Riley. She turned her head all directions, seemingly except for the one he was in, until she saw him. "Sharkie!" she called, running to him and giving him a big hug. After a second or two, she let go, looking back at him and smiling madly. "I didn't see you on the last day," she explained herself, "I was kinda worried the reason was a little more than just I didn't happen to see you."

"No," Lesley answered simply, grabbing the top of his head and being forced to look down with the weight of embarassment. The emotion of anger never seemed to be in this boy. "I'll never be gay with Sharkie," he added, looking over to his friend talking to his other friend. Seeing him with his other friends made him smile, he liked being reminded that Riley did have other friends but Lesley was pretty much his favourite, "he likes girls."
He looked back to Alex, "we both like girls," he added quitely.

"A-allright," Luther tried not to laugh while looking at the stupid look on her face. She was a childish that he could never dream of pulling off. He went over and ordered with what little money he had and brought back the ice cream, handing over the future banana split ice cream to Sunny. "Happy now?" he asked simply, mostly paying attention to and enjoying his own ice cream.

Alex let out a small chuckle, giving a look to Lesley that meant 'are you serious?'. He came closer to Lesley, now next to his side 'accidently' stepping on his foot which just happened to be there. Could you blame the guy? He was an ass. "Alrighty Lessie" he grinned "I'll make a deal with you, I'm not going to stop believing you're gay until you actually score a girl okay?" He put his hand out for Lesley to shake which would set the deal. He looked over at Ai still talking to the boy's bestfriend "And don't you dare go for Ai" he warned him, giving him a dirty look. Even though Lesley was a year older than Alex it was easy to act tougher than him, since he never really seemed to get mad at you. Alex made a mental note to use that to his advantages later.


"I-I was there" Riley assured her, which was true. It's just he sometimes got nervous about people not believing him. "You probably didn't see me because everyone was swarming the people who graduated..." Riley used as an excuse, he had just graduated from highschool about a week ago. It was good to be out of highschool, but he was sort of upset that he'd be in college while Lesley and Ai were still in highschool. He looked over at Alex with his brown hair with parts tinted golden. "Can I ask you something?" he asked, he didn't give time for the girl who played video games with him answer before asking "Are you dating Alex? I just noticed that you and him were on the ferris wheel... and.. yeah..."

Sunny took a spoonful of the little dots of ice cream, the flavors of strawberry, banana, vanilla and chocolate all bursting into her mouth. "For now" she assured Luther, she looked over at his seahorse. "I want one of those" she said "Only purple" she added "And a crocodile" She looked around the game booths they were passing trying to spot a purple crocodile rather than looking at the game and how hard it was.

Lesley didn't respond to anything Alex did, not even the pain that was now in his foot, and simply stepped back away from him.
His grey eyes were still on the floor until a thought occured to him. "Oh..." he looked back up at Alex, just now realizing his hand was out for him to take. "By your logic, does that mean your gay as well since you have yet to score a lady?" he asked, genuinely out of curiousity while taking the taller boy's hand.

"That's right...," Ai thought as soon as the word graduate sprang out of her friend's mouth. "Riley graduated...," but her sad thoughts were immediately forgotten when she had just heard the word "Alex" and "dating" in the same sentence. "No, no no no no no no," she slurred her words. "He just wanted to ride the ferris wheel and so did I and...yeah," she tried to bring her gaze up to face Riley but it just didn't seem to work; the best she could do was glance off to the side. "I came with Sunny, remember her?" she slapped on a smile while on the inside she was going crazy. How could she just remember her best friend until now?! Where was she? For all Ai knew, she could have been abducted by aileans and it was all her fault.

"Ugh," Luther whined, making his arms go limp as he hunched over. "Really? I have to buy you ice cream and win you a prize just because I pretty much called a color loud? Which it is?" he sighed, straightening himself back up but still sounding drained.
"I don't even think there is a purple crocodile, I mean, they don't even exist."

Alex shook his hand for a few seconds and then stopped and wiped the hand on his jeans like Lesley was infected with a horrible disease. "That logic is mainly only for you Lesley" Alex assured him, "I, however, have already scored a beautiful young lady" He let out a low whistle and motioned his head towards Ai. This was, of course, a lie. Even Alex knew that putting your arm around a girl's shoulder didn't mean you scored her. But Alex was hoping by the end of the night that he would have Ai, obviously the reason why he told the seventeen year old to stay away from her.

That's good.. Riley told himself, Alex was rather....unique, he didn't seem the type to want to go for a long term relationship. "I remember Sunny" he said, he was about to ask where she was, but he decided against it. He stuffed his hands in his pant's pockets noticing there was something in them. He pulled them out revealing to what looked like a hundred of glow sticks "Oh god" he smiled "I didn't even know I still had these in my pockets.." He snapped one of the glowsticks which gave off a vibrant neon blue. "I stole these from work, but they're only like five cents, just don't tell anyone or I'm going to get fired...and possibly go to jail..." he snapped a few more, pink, orange, green, purple. "Yah want one?" Riley offered "I mean the glow sticks might help you see around in the parking lot, since that's the number one spot at getting raped. And that goes for both genders" He put on a goofy smile the neon glowsticks in his hand.


"May I remind you, you did not only call a color loud but hurt my feeling so they broke into about a thousand pieces" Sunny huffed, who was -not yet- captured by aliens. Of course, unless Luther was a space creature and leading her back to the mothership with ice cream. "I don't need you to win me a prize I can do it myself. But you are my buddy until I find Ai. Because if I get kidknapped you're getting sued. And purple crocodiles don't need to exist to be a prize mister Luther" After the rather 'I can be serious' speech from Sunny she saw a game with her purple crocodile "THERE IT IS" she yelled pointing, and then looked over at the game....UGH! the dreaded ring toss. She failed at this game alot....

"Oh, okay then," Lesley sighed, looking back down to the floor. The sudden sound of snapping raised his stare; he looked around Alex and found Riley snapping stolen materials.
"Sharkie!" he yelled, having the most melodramatic astonished voice out there, it seemed. "You stole those from work!" he pointed a finger, keeping his odd tone and a friendly smile.
He hopped over to grab one, trying to resist the bright glowing pink one. He went for the orange one instead, "I don't mind some rape protection," he said, smiling at the glow stick. It was his and Riley's 'official name' for them.

As expected, Ai laughed from Riley's little joke and took the purple glow stick out of her friend's hand. She smiled like a maniac, waving it all around in the air and laughing like a little kid. "Alex," she turned to him, "you should take one too!"

"Whatever," Luther almost said but strongly rejected it.
Instead, he just said nothing after Sunny's rant until she was shouting about the purple crocodile. "They actually have one?" Luther sighed, turning his head to where Sunny was looking. Yup, they definitely had one. At the ring toss...definitely not his best game. He could atleast try though, right? He walked up to the carnie running the booth and put down his ice cream before giving them 5 bucks, he would need a lot of throws. He was given 8 rings, he would have to make atleast 4 to get that crocodile. He looked at it nervously, but didn't dare turn to Sunny, and threw like a madman. Miraculously, 4 had stuck. "Awesome," he said, mostly to himself, and then turned to Sunny. "Which one did you want again?" he asked tiredly, putting his hands in his pockets.

Alex sighed, picking up the vibrant blue one, only taking one because Ai had told him too. He wore it around his neck with the little thread 'necklace' that was attached the the glowing device or as Lesley liked to put it 'Rape Protection'. "Thanks for the glow stic- rape protection" he corrected himself, and put his arm back around Ai's shoulder minus the fact she didn't like it. He gave Lesley a look, before telling Ai they should go look for Sunny and Luther because god knows what happened to them and told Lesley and Riley to have a good time and maybe they could hang out sometime? Began walking off, sort of dragging Ai along with him.

Riley tried waving to Ai but Alex had already pretty much dragged her along to get away from the two other boys. he sighed swinging the string on his bright green glowsticks back and forth. "That was odd" Riley commented "Anyways let's go on the ferris wheel before they close it" Obviously the little chat they had with Alex and Ai caused a rather long line to form. "Damnit" Riley cursed under his breath before getting in line while still swinging the stolen glow sticks.

Dropping her ice cream Sunny put two hands over her mouth to keep herself from gasping which she ended up doing anyways. "Thank you Luther!" she managed to not scream. "The purple crocodile please" she told the person at the booth who then gave it to her. It was bigger than the seahorse, by alot. She ended up hugging Luther with the crocodile still in her hands "Thank you thank you thank you!" she said over and over "You didn't have to do that for me" she smiled before she kept on opened and shutting the jaws of her crocodile like a child saying "I'ma crocodile cro-co-die-eeel"

Sighing, Ai switched her glance away from Alex, without a word, as he dragged her away. She didn't mind his arm over her shoulder at this point, even taking hold of his hand that was hanging off. What bothered her was, where were they supposed to look for them? This was a giant carnival after all, and for all they knew they could've left. Or atleast not even be in the same place anymore...
She shook her head to get it off her mind, then looked up to Alex.
"Hey," she said quitely, putting her hands by her side once more, "why do you like putting your arm around me so much?"

"Yeah," Lesley agreed, not exactly sure what to, but followed Riley anyway. He smiled while behind Riley, obviously not hearing his swearing or he would've scolded him for doing so. "Is there anything here that I haven't seen yet, Sharkie?" Lesley stopped fiddling with the glowstick to look up to his friend.

"Eh, atleast Mystery has a friend now," Luther smiled, putting his own seahorse near the crocodile. He picked his ice cream back up and started stuffing himself again, "just don't do that. Ever again. Its a little scary," he tried to sound blank but his smile remained as he clutched Mystery.

Alex was smiling, happy and all that he could put his arm back around Ai's shoulder. That was- until she asked him that question. He bit his lip much like he was doing all of today, Because I like you dur? He wanted to say, but didn't. He sighed as he kept on walking, looking at the game and food stands. "Because....." he said, he couldn't think. His mind just went blank like it stopped working all together except to tell him to keep on breathing and walking. "I've been meaning to ask you...." he managed to say, while still looking away from her, getting rather nervous. "Will you..." go out with me? he meant to finish but it came out as something rather awkward. "Will you let me touch your hair, I've adored it all day it's just so orange and beautiful" What the hell did he just say? He had never been so stupid in his life, he had some really stupid things to girls, but none of this stupid.

Riley stopped swinging his glowstick "Besides games and food that might kill you I can't really think of anything else" The last time he did go to the carnival WAS eleven, and his memory was pretty much turned off for the day. He swung his glow stick around, accidently hitting someone a few times who was about ready to beat the sh!t out of him if it wasn't for the fact that he was taller than the person and he had a girl with him and that would not be very gentleman like. He snapped his fingers "Fun house" he finally said to his friend "That place drives me f---ing insane but it's pretty awesome.... it's like a bunch of mirrors and you have to find your way out and almost all the floors are checkered boarded"

"Okay...." Sunny pouted, before screaming out one more time because she WAS an obnoxious girl "I'ma crocodile cro-co-die-eeel" she smiled "I'm done I swear" she took ahold of Luther's hand and began to skip. "What now?" she asked "Go look for Ai and Alex?"

After that, Ai just felt like falling over. He sounded like he was going to ask her out but...then he just asked about her hair...very gay-like, also. "Sure," she couldn't help but smile anyway, she did like her men odd. "Be careful, though, it might puncture," she giggled and touched her own hair lightly, demonstrating how spikey it was.

Lesley's attention was immediately caught when the word 'funhouse' was mentioned; his eyes even sparkled a bit. "I've always wanted to go to one!" he confessed, but more like shouted. "They're always on cartoons and stuff and they always seemed so fun...," he toned his voice down, but still managed to sound excited.

"Do I have to confiscate it from you...?" Luther sighed after Sunny just had to yell one more time, but his anger was pretty much taken away when his hand was held. He was now blank again. "Sure."

Alex frowned, taking his arm that he wanted to remain around her shoulder and 'petting her hair'. He sighed, deep 'I'm really depressed' sigh. He wanted to ask her again, but he might say something stupid again. He bit on his lip until the pain was too much to handle and his lip bled like before. "I want to go out with you!" he shouted out rather fast. If she could understand him it would be a miracle, he didn't want to try it for the third time. He looked down at the ground, he couldn't bring his eyes to meet Ai's, he just couldn't.
"But I do like your hair too.....I like all of you" he mumbled out, being a big sissy now. Usually he did this like Mr. Tough Guy, now he was being all nervous since this wasn't a girl he'd date for the fun of it and looks rather than feelings- but he really, really, REALLY liked Ai.

"Do you just want to go to the funhouse?" Riley asked, the line was barely budging and the most fun he was getting out of it was swinging his glow stick. "I mean the line isn't moving by the time we get up there it'll probably be closed" Lesley did sound like he'd rather be in the funhouse right now then on the silly ferris wheel, Riley would sure hate all the mirrors and the confusion of where he was but it was always good to give things another shot right?

"Oh...so I guess I was right?" Ai was very confused on the inside but still managed to keep her smile. After all, she couldn't exactly understand him and had to assume what he was saying by what he mumbled out afterwards.
She didn't say anything, she couldn't say anything. All she could do was study him for a few seconds before looking down, then back up. "I...I do too, Alex," she mumbled back, unable to look away from his eyes. She felt herself lift go on her tippy toes; was she being possessed? Her hands pulled the boy's face to hers softly and she kissed him swiftly on the cheek, and quickly came back to earth. Ai looked at Alex, her hands still lightly on his face and a smile on hers.

"Yes!" Lesley quickly answered, hopping out of line and even grabbing and dragging Riley by his wrist. "Oh wait...," he stopped mid run. "Where is the fun house...?"

Alex breathed in for air, thinking it had left him completly when she kissed him. He just hoped his face wasn't extremely red. Ok, it was just on the cheek, but atleast it was a kiss. Finally he let out a victorious "YES!" which caused a few people to look at the boy. "Yes. Yes. Yes yes yes!" he kept on repeating "This babe is MINE B!TCHES SO IN YOUR FACE!" Only a few people remained starring at the boy, who kept on saying yes over and over. "Oh god" he said looking for his phone, finally finding it in his left pocket. "I gotta text this to Luther and my mom" He looked at Ai for a minute before taking ahold of her hand. "Sorry for the outburst..." he apologized putting on a nervous smile."I'm just kind of really really really happy"

"I don't know" Riley said taking his hand out of Lesley's grip. "I think it's over here" he said walking by the main foodstand place. Sure enough he found the funhouse after awhile he sighed, he was going to dread this. And he wouldn't be suprised if he ran into a mirror and broke it. This carnival didn't seem to like him very much, maybe they didn't like so called 'emo kids'. There was no one in line for the funhouse, it almost seemed like it was completly empty.

Ai tried to keep her smile on, "yeah. I can tell," she giggled out and looked away. Oh, what the hell, she was undeniably overjoyed, what could hurt? "This boy is miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!!" she shouted while Alex texted. "I am too, obviously," she sighed and held his hand tighter. "Um, can you do that later though...? I mean, we still gotta find Luther and Sunny."

"Okay," Lesley looked to his friend, "no running into mirrors," he warned what Riley probably already knew. "That wound is enough," he added, looking to the boy's forehead with a very unnoticeable blood smudge on it from when he ran into the tank earlier. With that said, he ran in and immediately ran into a mirror. "O-ow..." he managed to stay standing, but was wobbling consistently.

Alex slipped on a smile and punched in the last few buttons on his phone and flipping it shut. "That's why I was texting Luther. Well besides telling him that we're together now I said where we were so we just have to really wait until they get here" he explained "soo.... I'm going to brag to mama now" he said before texting again, his mother wasn't really a nice person. She liked to make a fun about Alex how he would never get a good girlfriend and be stuck with ditsy chick, and they had probably cheated on him within days of being together. So it was always good to brag.

"Look who's talking" Riley smirked before looking at his own reflection and messing with his hair for a good five minutes. He looked at the checkered floor before trying to find a way out of the mirrored maze. "Let's go this way" he said finding a way through the mirrors, entering a dark room. Of course it wasn't as creepy because the stolen glow sticks were pretty bright. He went down stairs that were moving up and down. "This is sooo scary" He joked before tripping on the stairs "SH!T" he yelled, well, that was another injury....

Sunny was skipping, looking around for Ai when she heared Luther's phone got off. "Your phone is ringing!" she shouted "Let me get it" she tried to keep herself from giggling when she reached into Luther's pant pocket and got out his phone "I'm in your pants suckah" she laughed before opening the phone, seeing it was just a text message from Alex.

"Oh...okay," Ai sighed. "So, he's ignoring me so he can tell everyone he's with me?" she thought to herself, frowning. She couldn't do anything about it, not even ignore him back since she didn't bring her phone. Knowing her luck, if she had brought her phone, the thing would be lost within hours. So, she resorted to just leaning against Alex now. She was tired. And bored. Waiting for someone to come get you wasn't really all that exciting.

Lesley quickly came running after his friend, hearing him scream only to find him fallen on a flight of stairs. "Ha! You just got owned by some stairs!" he mocked, walking down them but instantly tripping and unable to get up. The stairs were moving very rapidly. "Ahhhh....Sharkie, this isn't as fun as I thought it would be!"

As a girl dug through Luther's pants, he tried to keep a straight face. As soon as he felt himself turning red he swiped his phone away, "don't do that!" He flipped over the phone and read the text from Alex. "Interesting..."
"Well, Alex and Ai are waiting for us near the ferris wheel, so lets head there," he informed, walking towards the giant ride.

Alex was still texting, barely noticing that Ai had leaned against him. It was really hard to punch in all the numbers and pay attention to someone at the same time. He sighed, never seeming to ever flip his phone shut because him mother replied to him so quickly.

"Okay..." Sunny frowned, looking down at the ground for some reason to not to be upset. It was a stupid thing to do, she realized and she never should have done it. She tightened her grip on the purple crocodile wanting to say her little chant but knew it would just get on the older boy's nerves. She sighed as she looked at the carnival booths they passed.

Finally Alex finished texting his fingers sore from all the time punching in the letters. He tightened his grip on Ai's hand, looking around at the neon lights, the glowstick thumping against his chest. Finally he grabbed ahold of both of her hands and leaned over and kissed her on the lips gently. He couldn't think of what else to do and it must have been a bad timing because along came Sunny and Luther.

Sunny tried to keep a normal expression, although it was hard when she was sort of shocked and overly happy for her friend. Alex was liplocking Ai?! She couldn't help but to break out into song "caaan yoou feel the looove toniiight" She began singing a horrible voice, as she tried to remember the rest of the song from The Lion King.

Riley laughed getting up and then offerering a hand for his friend. "Maybe they'll be a prize at the end for going through all the torture" he joked, this was probably the thing he hated the most about the carnivals, the fun houses were never really fun. They were just there to trick, hurt, and creep people out. Hopefully by the end of this 'magically journey' Lesley would be hating them too.

"S-Sunny?!" Ai panicked, hearing the horrible singing voice of her friend. Right when she was about to kiss back too...ugh. She quickly swiped her hands away from Alex, swiping them in her pocket so they wouldn't be touched again. "Hey guys!" she tried desperately kept her cool as she smiled to them. "Alex said you would take longer!" she added, trying not to glare at the boy as she made her way over to Sunny to hug her. "Sunnnnyyyyyy," she whined like a little kid like her friend would do sometimes, "can we go hoooooome? I'm tiiiiiiired."

Luther sighed, stumbling upon the scene, more bothered by Alex liplocking with Ai within minutes of having gotten together than Sunny's horrible singing. Which meant he wasn't really bothered at all. "Alex you ho..." he found himself thinking and quickly shook it off. "We should start getting home too then Alex, call your mom to pick us up," he sighed out.

"Yeah," Lesley laughed a little, taking his friend's hand to pull himself up. "Let's make it down these stairs!" he shouted triumphantly, not really caring about being loud since there was no one else in here. As expected, he used his friend for support down them, clinging to hsi shoulders for every step until they were finally off the dreaded thing. Then he spotted a slide, "is that going to move too?" he wondered/whined out loud as he headed towards it. He put his hand on it first, redeeming it safe and quickly slid down it and then launched into a ball pit.
"Cool!" he yelled in astonishment, completely not suspecting this of all things. "Sharkie! Come down here!" he yelled happily up to his friend.

"She already said she can't pick us up because she gave the damn car to Stacy. Because her stupid teasing comb broke and she needs to go over to her damn friend's house to borrow hers. And probably because she wants to brag about her new nosering and imagine you naked with her friend some more" Alex complained/explained to Luther. "So we have to wait for probably four more hours and hopefully not get mugged and stripped of our clothes"

Sunny tried not to laugh from the whole imagine you naked part. Did Luther have his own fanclub or something she didn't know about? She turned to the boys "I can drive you home if you like" she offered.

"YES!" Alex smiled "That would be lovely" he said grinning over at Ai, before sending a quick text message to his mom telling her Stacy could have the car for aslong as she liked. But paying mroe attention to Ai, maybe he could get a kiss from her, and not be Interrupted by Sunny or Luther.

Soughing Riley made his way down the slide, but he couldn't help but to paste on a smile when he landed in a ballpit. "Well that was unexpected" he commented "Maybe we should just stay here the whole time and then when they come to make sure everyone got out" He kept on popping out jokes left and right. "Hey let's see if I can dunk you're head under all these" he laughed, this time not joking. He grabbed his friends shoudlers and pushed his head under all of the plastic spheres. You couldn't blame them, they were boys after all.

"All right," Ai agreed to the situation, trying to ignore Alex's looks.
"Let's gooooo!" Ai cheered, grabbing her friend's hand and swinging it into the air as they marched. "You better not run into anything Sunneh!" she warned gleefully. "Or stalk Luther afterwards," she grinned, saying this quiter. Really, though, she just decided Luther didn't need another Stacey. She had a class with the girl and couldn't even tell Alex was her brother. They were totally different, Alex being the better sibling, of course.

Luther only sneered, he hated even the mention of Stacey. Nontheless, he still had enough energy to follow them and walk beside Alex. Gosh, he just couldn't wait to get home....sleep, eat some ice cream, sleep some more, play with his dog. Just...anything that didn't have to do with Stacey. He looked over to Alex, knowing the kind of guy he is he'd probably be making out with Ai all night. Or atleast trying to.

"No! Wai-!" Lesley tried to protest but it was too late, his head was already beneath the colorful spheres and his arms were flailing above them. Thankfully, he could still breathe but it stank of sweat and rotton apples. Nothing at all like the one at Chuck E. Cheese, but still manageable.

"Let's make a friendship chain!" Sunny suggested as she grabbed for Luther's hand. Watching as Alex immediately grabbed ahold of Ai's own hand. She marched smiling, making sure the chain didn't break and that her crocodile didn't fall out of her hand she was holding onto Luther's with. Finally she reached the her mother's car, unlocking it she got into the driver's seat, hoping it everything would go alright, she wasn't a night time driver. And the last thing she wanted to do was crash into a deer and kill everyone. She sighed, slipping the thought out of her mind.

Alex kept ahold of Ai's hand even after the chain broke, leading her to the backseats. Leaving Luther to frontseat with Sunny. He finally let go of her hand to put on his seatbelt but rested his head on her shoulder. "I'm tired" he complained. "Turn on the radiooo" he said, hearing the radio come on, playing old tracks by Fall Out Boy. Alex guessed it was a CD because the radio didn't play old music of theirs. It was about wondering where someone's boy was and gentlemans and something that sounded like Sparta town. He couldn't really tell he was half awake.

Riley couldn't help but to laugh a little, letting his friend come back to the surface by himself Riley tried to find the way out of the ball pit. Finally, after going through another dark room (which still wasn't scary) he found his way out. He looked behind him, realizing he never stopped to make sure Lesley was behind him "Bryaaan" he called out.

Being calmed by the loud, almost non-understandable songs of Fall out boy, Luther smiled and shifted in the passenger's seat. He turned to Sunny easily reading the worried look on her face. "Want me to drive?" he offered, facing out the windshield now. "Don't worry about me ruining your car or anything...I'm pretty good with them."

Ai was just about to rest her head on Alex's, but then harshly decided against it. She didn't want to seem this cuddly with Alex. Instead, she tilted her head back, being pretty tired herself. When she finally reconized the song, she grinned to herself. This was the one Fall out Boy song where she would bother Sunny with all the things she misheard, Sparta town being one of them. "Who's house is closer...?" she wondered aloud, a yawn following shortly after.

"Sh-sharkie?" Lesley questioned into the empty room. After sprouting up from the ball pit, he could see his friend already leaving. He tried to quickly follow after him, but due to falling down stairs earlier he couldn't go that fast....
"Sharkie!" he called again, but his voice weak. The dark room was very scary to him. The dark was definitely one of his worst fears, right after being attacked by a man in a giant banana suit. And just his luck, the glow stick Riley had given him was probably in the very ball pit he pushed him in; it definitely wasn't in his pockets anymore.

His eyes glimmered with hope when he heard his 'name' be called. "Sharkie?" he squeaked out hopefully.

"N-no!" Sunny argued "I can drive" she assured the boy...and herself. She couldn't hear Ai's question over Fall Out Boy's singing. Before backing up she put the purple crocodile on the dashboard hoping it didn't slide off. Paying more attention to what Patrick Stump was singing then if anyone was coming while she backed up. "Bye bye carnival" she said smiling before driving off, in the process almost hitting a lamp post.

"I probably live the closest" Alex's tired voice came, giving the blonde girl the neighborhood's name. Hearing the fall out boy song end, but the same band's music just came back. This being a song he knew from Stacey's wonderful CD collection. Bang the Doldrums. He sighed, he just wanted to fall asleep, why was he so tired all of a sudden? Either way he kept his head on Ai's shoulder "You never kissed me back.." he complained in a soft voice so Ai could only hear it putting his hand ontop of her's.

Riley sighed hearing his nickname, going back into the dreaded fun house to drag his friend out. Finally spotting his friend in the dark, noticing he didn't have his glowstick. He grabbed ahold of his wrist for a gazillionith time today dragging him out. "Why were you just standing there?" Riley asked trying to hold back a bit of laughter "It's not like Lady Gaga is going to jump out and come and get you with the banana man, but then again I could be wrong....."

"Oh really?" Luther questioned, trying very, very hard not to sound annoyed. The girl had just said she could handle it, then ran into a lamp post. He was afraid this might be the last night he would be alive. Patrick Stump's singing didn't help his mood at all. "Hey Sunny," he finally spoke up, smirking a little. "Is there a peice of paper and a pen anywhere in this car?" he asked while securing his seatbelt.


Ai smiled when she heard Alex's barely there voice. "You're such a silly goose...," she replied just as quitely, sliding her hand from under Alex's to bring it around him, stroking his hair. "I was going to," she sighed, slightly mad at herself. "Y'know, then these bozos ruined it," she giggled softly.

"That's exactly what I was afraid of!" Lesley put on a nervous tone. "I mean, have you seen her pants? And bananas are just....ugh," he shivered. "Anyway," he slapped on a smile for Riley, "what now? Home?"

Sunny hit the breaks hard as the traffic light hit red. "BOYS LIKE YOU ARE OVERRATED!" she sang/yelled along with the new song Chicago Is So Two Years Ago. She slipped on a nervous smile to Luther, "Uum yeah" she said handing him a piece of paper and a pink pen with a fluffy tip. "Why?" she asked turning down the music so she could hear him a bit better. The light went green and she began driving again, this time almost running into another car. Why did they give her a license again? She pretended that the wheel was a drum tapping it, accidently hitting the horn all of a sudden. "oops..."

Alex flinched from the sudden loud noise of the horn "Yeah they did" Alex sighed in an angry tone taking his head off her shoulder but still letting her run fingers through his hair. He let a warm smile come onto his face before leaning over once again to kiss Ai. Hopefully this time Sunny and Luther wouldn't screw this up this time. He didn't take a second to think that he was kissing(and possibly making out later on) with a girl in someone else's mom's car. That was really awkward.....

"I guess" Riley said, it didn't really matter if they left because Riley was sleeping over at Lesley's house. He played with his lipring, which he usually did when he was thinking or just bored. Plus it was rather fun... "Ugh I'm tired..." he grumbled "Do you think you can drive home Bryan?" he asked, he knew Lesley didn't have his license and really didn't like driving, but it was better than Riley trying to drive who would probably fall asleep and kill everyone. By now he had already walked out of the carnival and to the parking lot, looking for the car his parents had gotten him earlier in the year.

"So I can write my will," Luther said plainly, pretending to scribble things down. The joke wasn't even worth it anymore. Sunny was treating the wheel as an instrument, screaming out lyrics, and almost running into other cars. This was it. He was going to die tonight...

Before their lips even had a chance to touch, Ai pulled back, already regretting it. Why had she done that...? Sure it was the back of her friend's mom's car but...this was Alex, too. "I-I'm sorry Alex..." she worded, really not wanting to speak. "This isn't the right place," she redeemed herself, not wanting Alex to think for one second she didn't want to kiss him.

Lesley followed Riley without a word to the parking lot. Rest assured, he was scared ****less. Cars were his 3rd worst fear.
As soon as he spotted Riley's car, he rushed over to it, pausing at the driver's side. "Gimme the k-k-k-k-keys," he tried his hardest not to stutter and that was the best he had to show.

"Why would you want to write a will?" Sunny asked in a bit of a sad tone, but then she suddenly got annoyed by it. "What do you think my driving is mad?!" she tried her best NOT to yell out, but it came out loud and angry voice. I should just kick him out here and then he can find his own way home...maybe steal his damn seahorse too... When a redlight hit Sunny grabbed the seahorse off the dashboard, this being the second time she had stolen the stuffed creature today. "If you don't be nice mister Avila" using his last name, she knew almost all of people's last names. " I'm going to throw your little friend out the window" She threatened trying to be serious but she broke out into a giggle right after saying it.

There went the whole make out scene Alex had planned, he groaned. "Okay.." he sighed as he rested his head against the glass window of the car rather than Ai's shoulder. He looked at his phone seeing if anyone texted him, and then went back to punching keys in his phone. He was trying to act like he didn't cared that he didn't get to kiss her but he did. He cared alot, and now more than ever he just wanted to go home more than ever. Rejection hurt... Alex felt like a hole had just appeared in his heart but then again he might have been being too dramatic with the whole thing.

"O-k-k-k-aay" Riley smiled taking the keys out of his pocket, joking around with how much Lesley was stuttering "You don't have to Bryan, it's just i'm really tired...either way we might end up dying..." He quickly regretted saying that and tried to wash it away with a bunch of nervous laughter. They wouldn't die....would they?

Luther's hand tried to beat Sunnys in the race to the dashboard, but miserably failed. "No! Don't punish Mystery for this!" he played along, reaching for the green sea horse toy. "Your crocodile won't appreciate it!" he said, looking at and then taking the purple toy hostage. "HA!"

"Oh no!" Ai decided to join in, Alex was just texting anyway. Its not like he cared about her. "You never get in between a boy and his seahorse...toy...thing...," she trailed off, not really sure what to call it. She looked to Alex again. Still texting. Who the fudgeducks was he texting anyway? Oh well, no sense in talking to him now...she couldn't even reach him. "Curse my smallness..."


"Dont...joke about that," Lesley winced. He opened the car door, sighing and then unlocking all doors so that Riley could get in. Hesitating a little, he closed his door put the key in the ignition as soon as Riley was in the car. He almost felt like screaming when the car made that awful start noise. "Gawsh I hate cars," he reminded himself and backed up, leaving the parking lot and heading for his house. Good thing he lived close. Now if he could just avoid running over something...and the police.

Sunny rammed on the breaks, damn these redlights. She was way more focused on her crocodile right now though then the road. "Give.him.back." Sunny demanded, not putting his seahorse down though. This redlight was going on forever so she went for her chance to grab the crocodile back while still having the seahorse hostage. She reached for it but ended up grabbing his long hair somehow and yanking it. By the time she wanted to try and get it again the light was green and everyone was honking their horn for her to make a move on. She seemed to growl softly under her breath, looking at the crocodile knowing she'd get it back somehow.

Finally Alex put his head back on Ai's shoulder for the second time, still texting. Hell, there was an X in texting and an X in Alex. Maybe they were meant like how Ai and Alex were since both of their names began with A's. Finally he took a break. "What the hell are Luther and Sunny doing?" he asked, trying to become notice again. He didn't like be left out because he wanted to talk to his mom at the same time.

Riley put his legs on the dashboard looking out the window, and turning on the radio because the silence was bothering him- alot. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea, it might be something that could get them into serious trouble... Every since Riley had turned eighteen he had been causing more trouble than he usually did. He sighed, hopefully everything would go alright. "Look out Bryan there's a cop" He joked, probably one of the jokes where Lesley should beat him up for saying such a thing and scaring him like that.

Luther huffed, turning away to the window and holding the crocodile cautiously close at this point. "Only if you give back Mystery!" he negotiated, clutching the crocodile closer. "If you give her back, you'll have Mr. Croc nice and safe on your dashboard again. If not..." he trailed off, starting to roll down the window. "Pay attention to your driving, by the way," he quickly went back to his toneless voice. "Thats the whole reason we're holding eachother's stuffed toys as hostages."

Ai tried to ignore Alex. Resisting the urge to pet his head again, but when he finally spoke she just felt overjoyed. "Threatening stuffed toys' lives," she answered, still using the soft tone. "Hopefully it won't result in the ending of our lives..." she gulped, immediately putting her hand back around Alex to stroke his hair but only barely this time.

"OMIGAWSH WHERE?" Lesley immediately reacted, looking frantically in each direction until he realized Riley was only kidding. He leaned back, sighing heavily. "Not funny," he mumbled.
Thankfully, he spotted his house and pulled up in the driveway, quickly turning the contraption that was called a car off.

"I am paying attention to my driving!" Sunny argued, she knew if Luther threw the crocodile out the window it would probably be the end of the world for her. Where DID you find a purple crocodile? Plus, mister crocodile was one of a kind. Unlike Mystery who could be bought at a local toystore (or that's what Sunny though anyways). She threw the seahorse to the boy, for her crocodile's sake. With all the stuff animal fighting going on she almost forgot to turn into Alex's neighborhood. Luckily she did.

Alex looked out the window, they were already in his neighborhood? He sighed, giving directions to his house and then finally when Sunny reached his home he couldn't help but to frown and wish he spent more time to Ai. He pratically tackled her with a hug and gave her a small kiss on the cheek "I'll see you later m'kay?" He said in a soft, sweet voice. "Bye Luther see you whenever gayface" he said plainly in his regular tone voice before getting out of the car and waving to Ai again smiling before he walked to his house.

Taking his legs off of the dashboard Riley got out of the car. "Sorry" He apologized "I'm being an ass.hole tonight.." He wasn't afraid to admit he was. He walked up to the house he'd been to constantly once him and Lesley became friends. "Thanks for driving by the way" he smiled holding his hand out for the carkeys back.

"Right back atcha, even gayer face," Luther replied in a heartbeat and gave a short wave to Alex. Now, back to Sunny. "Yay!" he cheered, horribly, and places the crocodile back on the dashboard. "That wasn't so hard was it?" he teased, stroking his little toy rather creepy-like.

Not being able to help it, Ai giggled at the two. Earlier it seemed like a moment of death and now it was just so damn playful. "Bye," she mouthed to Alex when she spotted him in the corner of her eye, even blowing him a kiss. "Next to be dropped off is me!" she notified Sunny, recognizing her neighborhood to be close by.

Lesley sighed. He desprately wanted to say "no problem," but that would be lying, wouldn't it? "Your welcome" he said instead and smiled to his friend, gave him the car keys, then rushed ahead to the doorway. After about a minute of digging through his pockets, Lesley remembered he had put his key in his wallet and took that out and eventually unlocked the door. "I'm home!" he called out, "Riley is here too!" it felt so weird calling his friend by his actual name, but his mother just couldn't grasp why he was called Sharkie. Even explaining about a thousand times didn't help. His mother came to see them in an instant, his little sister following close behind.
"Oh, hello Riley boy!" she greeted, pretty much forgetting the boy was staying over with them.
"Welcome home big brother!" Princess spoke up, hugging Lesley and pretty much ignoring the other boy save for a quick glance.

"NOOO" Sunny cried "I'm going to miss you Ai!" she told her friend, even though they'd probably be seeing eachother tomorrow. She didn't like the fact that she had to be alone with Luther after dropping Ai off. Who knew what kind of boy he was after everyone left. He could be anything, possibilities including an alien, a vampire, a werewolf, zombie, leprechaun, hell he could be a unicorn. Ok, maybe she was thinking a little TOO crazy, she wiped all those thoughts out of her mind. As she drove she saw a Starbucks, one of those fancy ones with the damn drive thrus. Why would you want coffee via drive thru. Either way she pulled into the little shopping center "Let's get Starbucks!" she suggested "I need to waste some of the money my mama gave me"

"Hi Ms. Mungia" Riley smiled, hearing his birthname being used instead of his nickname. Pretty much all the adults he knew refused to call him Sharkie besides his English teacher. He slid his carkeys(and the zillion other keys he had on there) back into his pocket. He finally took off his hood, looking around the familiar house.

"I'll miss you too Sunny!" Ai cheered more than shouted, even throwing her arms into the air. "Guh, I hate Starbucks," she commented, then decided to eleborate. "I mean, why couldn't they just go with the regular small, medium, and large sizes? I mean, they small is a tall, which is exactly the opposite of what I want my small latte to be!"

"Um, sure," Luther agreed quitely, trying to ignore Ai's rant.
Even though he just really wanted to get home, a coffee couldn't hurt, could it? Sunny was paying anyway. He just hoped he could get some sleep afterwards. He turned around to Ai, who was now leaning against the window; he had to join the rant. Now.
"Whats up with the large," he whispered, "I mean, vente? What kind of language is that?"

"I know right!!" she shouted in agreement, smiling like a doofus.


"Well, you two boys have fun now!" she said cheerfully to both of them, patting the young boys' heads. "Come on, Princess."
"I wanna stay with Lesley," the girl half complained, hugging her brother tighter.
"Uh, its okay mom," Lesley assured her, "we're probably just going watch movies, stuff like that."

"...Okay," she slowly agreed. "Just none of that porn stuff I've been hearing about! It's disgusting!" and with that she huffed off to her room.

Lesley sighed, "I've said it a million times but I just can't say it enough...my mother is weird." He quickly turned back to Riley, "well look he finally took the hood off," he smiled and headed to his room, not even making sure Riley was following. He had been here so many times it was pretty much a second house, just like Riley's house was to him.

"AAGH" Sunny growled "I know you hate starbucks and I know calling a tall a small makes no sense and what the hell language is that anyways. But I'd prefer to get coffee from a person who's more skilled not one who's flipping burgers. Last time I had one of those my stomach wanted to self-destruct" She complained driving into the drive thru, waiting for the "how are you blah blah gimme your order betch" person to come, after they finally spoke Sunny went into a long pause "Uum" she began "caramel frappuccino" Of course being the dork she was she had to say it in a really stupid voice frap-a-chee-nuuuu. She then poked Luther in the stomach "Do you want anything?" she asked and then turning to Ai "You too Miss I hate starbucks" she joked. She was putting the person taking their orders on hold (probably annoying him)and making a line of cars form.

"Why would she think we'd watch porn?" Riley couldn't help but to ask curiously "How the hell would we even get it in the first place" he wondered biting the part of his lip where he had the ring. "Why don't we play video games?" he suggested yawning, of course he knew Lesley wasn't into the type of video games he was. Riley preffered the violent video games. But he didn't mind playing the video games where when if you attacked a person they didn't explode of blood.

Grabbing the spot he was poked, Luther looked up and looked blankly. He wasn't here that much...
"Iced coffee," he said after he finally decided, "with milk," he added. Now satisfied, he sat back and waited for Sunny to move on. And wishing for cars waiting behind her to stop honking their horns.


"I mean...they even have a twitter, a facebook, and a youtube channel," she continued to rant, now pouting. "Get over yourselves, you make coffee"
Now, she was finally done. "Nah, I won't have anything. Coffee is disgusting," she pepped up and smiled brightly to Sunny.

"Don't question my mom," Lesley chuckled, sitting in his bed. Of course, Princess next to him. "Um, no," he kinda sorta lied. Riley knew he had video games, but he didn't like playing them. The only ones his mother would let him buy were the ones with cute little cartoon characters. "How about we-"
"I wanna do Sharkey's hair!" Princess spoke up, smiling brightly.
"W-what?"
"I wanna braid it!"

Sunny laughed, mostly at the fact that Starbucks HAD a twitter, youtube and myspace. She ordered the ice coffee and drove up, probably bringing joy to all the people who wanted their own damn coffee. Paying, she looked at the boy who gave them their coffee he was in one of her classes at school, but she barely knew him. "He knows your mom" Sunny said trying to keep her voice serious pointing to Luther, but she ended up letting out a few cracks of laughter. "HE DATED YO MOM" she yelled before driving off real fast before the boy could even respond. She starting laughing like a madma- woman before taking a sip of her iced drink, trying to pay more attention to the road.

Riley frowned, being an only child he never went through younger siblings wanting to do random things, like braiding an eighteen year old's hair. "Eh whatever" Riley shrugged, his hair wasn't that long so it wouldn't take that long to braid. "As long as its not putting me in a pink dress and putting fairy wings on me I'm good.."

"O....kay then..." Luther forced himself to say something as he sipped his iced coffee. The moment the coffee reached his lips he thought of something better to say though.
"Sunny..." he whispered, giving a serious look like she did earlier. "How did you know about that?" he smirked a little, then went back to his coffee. "You should've gotten like, a granola bar or something too. I'm a bit hungry," he said, mostly to himself.

On the other hand, Ai was speechelss. That was just.....wow. Now she wished she had some kind of drink to drown her shock in.
Of course, hating coffee, she now had no drink and knew as soon as she got home she would make some chocolate milk....yum.
For now, she would just have to endure it.

"Aw! Why not? Lesley le-"
"Princess," Lesley interrupted sharply.
The girl stared at her older brother with wide eyes.
"Just go get your braiding kit."
"Okay!" and with that, she skipped speedily out of the room.
"So...." Lesley tried to kill the girly air she left lingering in the room. "Wanna listen to music?" he pointed to his stereo, "or watch a movie?"

"That's disgusting" Sunny frowned "I'm ashamed for you to speak of such a thing in this car" She said, keeping her voice serious and perhaps a bit mother-like. She ignored the fact that he said he was hungry, didn't he JUST have ice cream? Ugh, men. She drove the rest of the way to Ai's house in silence.when she she reached her friend's house she frowned and let out a sigh. "Bye Ai" she said waving "Luff joooo!" she added "and so does mister snugglemuffins" she laughed pointing to the purple crocodile being a bit childish- wait, too childish. She waited until Ai got in her house before driving off, while at a redlight taking out the Fall Out Boy CD and putting in another CD. Putting the volume up high (which proved NOT to be a good idea because the songs were screamo) she kept on driving. "Where do ya live mister I've dated people's mom?"


"Music" Riley answered plainly taking off his jacket, the black shark Lesley won him falling out. "I'm suprised that didn't get lost in that ball pit" He said picking it up and placing it next to Lesley as he sat on the bed with him. "So did you like the carnival Bryan?" He asked, looking at the shark. It was the only thing that really would bring the memories of the carnival back, well, besides the bruises Riley would have on his arm for the next couple of weeks from falling off the merry-go-round and tripping on the damn moving stairs.

"Well miss I play with plush toys even though I'm a high school student," Luther started, folding his arms and leaning back further into his seat. "Take 3 lefts and a right, then keep on going straight. My house is the one with the red dodge neon in front of it," he instructed, then looked to Sunny again. "I don't wanna say my address 'cause that drive-thru guy might've bugged my coffee. If only you hadn't given away the secret, now I think he's going to stalk and or murder me."

After turning on his stereo and blasting whatever was in there last, he hopped on the bed. "Uh-huh," Lesley confirmed quitely, wanting the lyrics of Apocalyptica to ring through the room and hopefully ward his sister off for a bit. He smiled and grabbed the shark, poking it in random place and messing up its coating.

Sunny frowned, following Luther's directions but not saying a word. She sped up a little because she really wanted to get this boy out of her car. Finally when she spotted the red dodge and pulled up to her house. "Bye" she said simply ready for the boy to get out of her car.

"That wasn't really convincing" Riley frowned, but really didn't mind. He grabbed the shark from his friend's hands poking it himself, mostly in the eyes. Stuffed animal eyes always appealed to him. He yawned more than sighed,ready to go to sleep. It had been a busy day, and he had work tomorrow.

"Bye," Luther said back, not really looking at Sunny until after he got his stuffed seahorse and stepped out of the car. He frowned at her frown. "Thanks for driving us home," he said, hoping not to clean up all negativity in the car. He climbed back into the car, clutching his little stuffed seahorse and putting it to the blonde's cheek, mimicking a kiss on the cheek. "Mystery says thanks too," he added, smiling a little at the stupid things he thought up of. With that, he ran off to and inside his house.


Lesley frowned when Riley snatched the shark from him, but only for a second. It was his, after all. "I really did, I didn't think I could last in a carnival but you got hurt worse than I did," Lesley laughed lightheartedly, putting his hand on the shark then started to assist Riley in the poking, but not in the eye. That was kind of disgusting.

Alex was getting ready for his date, unlike most guys he had to look great. He had to go and fix his hair,put on nice clothes, smell nice and all that sh!t. He couldn't just go on a date looking less than perfect. Alex was made to impress and being less than perfect wasn't impressing anyone. Especially not his new girlfriend, well, that's what he thought anyways. He wasn't sure what they were doing for the date, all he knew is they were going on a date. And to make it more unpleasent Ai was coming over to Alex's house.
Alex's house was not something very impressing. His sister was a freak, just plain out freak. And his mother would always say anytime any of his friends or girlfriends came over 'Oh, Alex is too horrible for someone as perfect as you'. His mother was so caring.
He groaned as his hair was not coming out the way he was liking it. He kept on combing it and styling it but it wasn't working at all. His sister sitting on a chair looking at their yearbook wasn't helping either. Every few minutes she would mess up his hair and he would go back to redoing it infront of his room's mirror.
"Stacey" He snapped "Can you get out?"
"What? No" His sister told him through chews of gum "These guys are kind of hot" she commented pointing to familiar faces. Riley and Lesley.
"They're gay" Alex said and then screaming a YAHOO because his hair came out the right way. He put a few mints in his mouth and sprayed some cologne on himself. "I AM READY!"

"Pedal pedal pedal~" Ai sang to herself while bicycling herself to Alex's house. She kept on fixing her skirt every 2 minutes though, interrupting her song. "Gah I should've just worn shorts," she kept on mumbling to herself periodically until she finally arrived at the address she knew as Alex's house. After cautiously parking her beloved children's bike on the sidewalk, Ai ran up to the door and rang the bell, slapping on a smile afterwards.
"Please let Alex answer the door," she prayed, she really didn't want to meet Alex's mother seeing as he had described her as a devil woman, along with his sister.
She took a step back and looked at herself, straightening her red plain skirt for the last time and pulling up her purple and black striped socks. She took off her sunglasses for now, the ones with the neon green lenses and her lucky pair, and stuck them on her v-neck purple shirt after unzipping her jacket. Is this presentable? Would his mom accept her if she were to answer the door? She took it off and rang the door bell again out of nervousness and her smile died.

Alex barely heard the doorbell ring "I'll get it!" he informed his mother but she had already opened the door. Damnit! He thought as he stormed down the stairs his older sister following behind him with the yearbook still in hands.
Alex's mother took one glance at Ai and let herself put on a smile "Oh my" She gasped "You are such a beautiful young lady, come in dear" she told her opening the door all the way so she could enter the boy's home.
"ALEXANDER!" She yelled as soon as Alex had reached the final step. She rolled her eyes once she saw her son's apperance. Obviously not impressed like always. "Alright, you two have fun, and you" she said looking over at Alex "Stay out of trouble and use protection" she smiled before walking off Stacey following her now.
Alex groaned half hugging Ai and half trying to escape his horrible home. "Sorry you had to meet my mother"

"Um t-thankyou!" Ai said before being hugged/pushed out of the house, smiling like a goof. She had accepted her.
Called her beautiful even. Most of her friend's parents would be put off by her punk look, but not Alex's mom. "Yaaaaaaay~" she cheered in her head and looked to Alex.
"Aww, don't be so stuffy, Alexander," she giggled at the name, even though to her it sounded more powerful than just Alex. After giving him a full hug and a swift kiss, she looked to her bike. Could he fit in that tiny children's basket? "Lets hope his skinny jeans are skinny enough to fit his ass in there," she thought with a sigh and looked to him. "You ready?"

Alex pretty much froze up when he saw the bicycle. He had thought maybe she had been dropped off or Sunny even gave her a ride. But a bike? And it was so childish, like something she would own when she was twelve. Either way Alex kept his comments to himself.
"Uum.. it doesn't have another seat...." Alex responded, then he took notice to the small basket attached to it. "I-I...." he began but couldn't even begin saying I don't think I'll fit in that "You aren't going to have me sit in that small basket right?!" He finally blurted out, still staring at the childish bike. He certainly hadn't done something like this before on dates. He hadn't even went near a bike on a date, or in the last couple of years. But, hey! It was something new, doesn't hurt to try it? Well, Alex didn't mind trying it but he was afraid it would hurt. His fat ass would probably barely fit in the basket and he'd fall out sooner or later.

"That's the fun part silly!" she grinned a toothy grin up to him, heading towards the bike and hopped on. "Now!" she yelled boastfully, pointing to the sky. "In the basket!" she pointed to it and grinned.
"I wonder how much he'll hate me after this."
She looked to him, he was just standing there. Frozen.
"Want me to help you?" she giggled and got off, playing with the basket now. "I'm not getting in it, just so you know."

Blinking a few times Alex got out of his frozen stage. "Oh, psh....nah" He said not wanting her help; looking at the bike again for a good minute trying to figure out how to even get in the basket. After a few minutes of confusion and cursing he managed to get in the damn basket without breaking it. Somehow managing to fit his thighs in the basket too.
Part of his legs and his bright purple Converse were dangling out of the basket. He felt like somewhat like a child being in the basket. Wait- wasn't the GIRL suppose to get in the basket and the boy ride the bike? Too late now.
"Alright" he grinned "Let's get this date started!"

"Omigawd," Ai nearly doubled over laughing. "I can't beleive you actually got in there!" she ceased her laughs after wiping away a fake tear. "Hang on," she warned him while putting the kickstand back up and hopping on the bike very carefully. How awful would it be if Alex's ass not only had to be shoved into a basket but also landed on cold hard cement on their first date. Luckily, they didn't fall over and Ai started to pedal again.
"Yay!" she couldn't help but shout as they started to go faster and faster. "Isn't this fun Alex~?" she shouted again, not really caring if he answered. She just wanted to fill the air as she turned sharply to get out of the neighborhood.

The faster she went on the bike the more Alex wasn't enjoying the ride. For one thing the hair he had worked so hard on was getting all messed up and blowing in his face and the tie on his shirt was becoming undone. What bothered him the most, however, was the fear of just falling out of the basket. He wish he had grabbed a few knee and elbow pads from his childhood days when he would go rollerblading. "I guess?" He answered "Where are we going anyways?" Hoping that the date wasn't going to just be a ride on her childish bicycle with him the basket. Oh sh!t what if someone saw him? It wasn't being seen with Ai, infact he was pretty sure he'd be showing her off to alot of people. It was being in the damn bicycle basket like a cat or a dog.

"Awww, Alex isn't having fun?" Ai pouted, nearly running into something before catching herself. "We're going to the park!" she then answered cheerfully and pedalled faster yet, she wanted to get there as soon as she could. Suddenly she realized why Alex wasn't exactly having a good time as his tie wapped into her face.
"Ah its trying to eat me!" she laughed and pushed it out and made sure it didnt happen again by pedalling a bit slower.
"I'm sorry if this sucks..." she sighed out then took another turn.
They were almost there.

"It doesn't suck" Alex told her "I'm just not use to being in a bicycle basket yet is all" he assured her with a small smile. Hmm is going to a park a good or bad idea? he wondered. He kept his smile on, because he'd be out of the basket soon -hopefully- He soon saw that his Converse shoes were untied. "I can't have that" he said outloud bending over to tie his shoe into a neat little knot. The result was falling out of the basket, he barely had time to react but he let his bare elbows (seeing as his dress shirt sleeves were rolled up) hit the concrete. Atleast it wasn't his beautiful face, that would be horrible. But his elbows were now bleeding "OOOOW" he whined forgetting that he was suppose to be man.

It was too late. Alex fell out of the basket and was now whining.
"Ah! Are you okay?" Ai asked just for the sake of asking. Of course he wasn't okay. He just tumbled out of a speeding bike. She hopped off the bike and parked it quickly to rush to Alex's side. "I....uh...have band-aids!" she remembered slowly, reaching into her pockets for the box of Yu-Gi-Oh band-aids. After realizing she didn't have her sunglasses on and quickly put them back on, she opened the box and looked up to Alex. "How many do you need darling?"

"Probably just two" he told her, seeing as his elbows were the only thing bleeding. He couldn't help but to smile from her calling him 'darling'. He looked at the band-aid box and couldn't help but to let out a bit of laughter. Mostly from the fact that it was Yu-Gi-Oh and that just flooded his brain with childhood memories of when he use to watch that show before Pokemon -which happened to be his favorite show as a little kid- came on. He was pretty much obsessed with both of the card games.
"Yu Gi Oh?" He questioned pointing to the band-aid box "I haven't seen that show in years" he grinned "Well, not the original anyways. But the new ones are just not even worth my time" Great, now he was going to babble on about this, and this was a minor obsession for him. Wait till she got him started on Pokemon. "Who the hell would play card games on motorcycles-" He quickly caught on he was talking for too long. "Uum.. yeah...can I have a hug too?" He asked her, putting on a small smile.

"I know, right?" Ai giggled out while picking two out of the box and unwrapping them for Alex. "I mean, it seemed like they just decided to throw in an element they thought kids would think is 'cool' even if it didn't have anything to do with card games at all," she sighed and placed one on Alex's elbow, which she just noticed was bleeding, and gave the other to him to put on his other elbow. "You got Bakura and Joey!" she smiled to him, pointing to the band-aids, before getting up and giving a helping hand. "Of course you can have a hug silly," she smiled wider but then sighed, "it was my fault after all."

After slapping on the other band-aid on his elbow he grabbed Ai's hand and pulled himself up. After a small amount of time from standing up Alex hugged her. "It's not your fault" he told her before giving her a small kiss on the cheek. "I shouldn't be a moron and try tying shoes when in a bicycle" He said, blaming it on himself. "I don't have to get back in the basket do I?" he grinned, hoping the answer would be 'no'. Although if it was 'yes' Alex probably would gladly do so. He soon let go of her and slipped his hands in his pant's pockets.

"Well...." Ai tried to sound like she was thinking when she genuinely really just wasnt. "You did just fall out," she put her hands on her hips and looked down, then back up to Alex.
"Darling," she called him that again, it seemed to flow off the lips for her, and gave him another soft hug.
"Of course you have to," she smiled devishly and skipped back to the bike and hopped on it.
"Now get in the basket betch!" she commanded, pointing to it.

And he gladly do so. Alex didn't even argue about going back in the basket he just did. He quickly tied his Converse and 'hopped' back into the basket. This time with less confusion and cursing. After awhile they both reached the park Ai said they were going to. It was nearly empty, which was seriously ok with Alex the less people the better. "Is it okay to get out now?" he asked her "Or do I still have to be your b!tch and stay inside the basket?"

"Oh Alex," Ai sighed, getting off the bike and parking it for the last time for a while before walking in front of Alex in the basket.
"You'll always be my b!tch" she smirked and started to laugh again. "I wish I brought my camera, you look so silly," she smiled and looked to the park. There was no question why it was her favourite. There were swings, a see saw, slides that not only had a sand pit under them but they weren't made of metal so you could go on them on even a hot day.
"Allright," she smiled to the park, then back to Alex. "You can get out now," she informed and started to head towards the park.

"Alright I guess I'm you're b!tch then..." He grinned getting out of the basket. Happy to finally be out of the dreaded thing. But he'd probably be riding in it on the way back. Damnit. "Can we go on the see-saw first?" he questioned, "I haven't been on one for years..." he explained already grabbing ahold of her hand to drag her over to it.

"Sure!" Ai happily agreed, the see saw definitely being a personal favourite. Despite that it seemed whenever she was on it, she fell off...oh well, that didn't matter now. She hadn't been on the see saw in a while come to think of it, maybe she had actually gained a center of gravity. "Doubt it."
Even though Alex was the one who grabbed her hand, she was the one who pulled him over to the see saw and led him to his side then rushed to hers to get on.

Alex put on a small smile, sitting down on the see-saw after Ai did so. His part of the see saw being the part that stayed on the ground. He enjoyed the thrill of being up in the air so much more. He grabbed onto the little ‘handle’ on the see saw so he wouldn’t somehow loose balance and fall off. The bicycle incident was good enough for him and he didn’t want any more band-aids slapped on him; even if they were Yu Gi Oh. He looked over at Ai, noticing her outfit more than he had before.
To tell the truth, he did find it a little odd, but it was odd in that way that was also cute. He let his smile gradually grow as he kept looking at her. “By the way” he said the goofy smile still on his face “You look cute in that” he grinned “Unlike me, I don’t even know what the hell I put on…..” He was trying to look ‘fancy’ if that was even the word for it. But obviously he was failing at it. He had a pair of regular skinny jeans on with a light purpled buttoned up long sleeve shirt with a tie. Who the hell would wear a tie to a date anyways? He thought. It looks like I got dressed up to go to a dance but I didn't have anything but ass-tight pants...

When Alex sat, Ai's side was skyrocketed into the air. She felt a little uneasy; her feet couldn't even reach to the floor unless she tried really hard. Though, she felt a little bit better when Alex had, out of nowhere, complimented her and her odd fashion sense. Ai smiled, about to thank him and tell him he looked nice sincerely but that idea was dead after plummeting to the ground.
So much wind had been knocked out of her she couldn't even let out a simple "ow."
"This date doesn't like us very much...does it?" she wished she could say to Alex, er...what she could see of him, from her place on the ground.

After realizing Ai was no longer on the see saw it took Alex a few seconds to actually realize she was on the ground. He began running over to her, half way through the not so long run he ended up tripping and now on the playground's 'floor' with Ai. He quickly got up however, once reaching where Ai was helping her up to her feet.
"Are you okay?!" He asked, you could hear the worry in his voice when he said that. He checked her to see if she had any wounds, scratches, really anything. Once he saw there was nothing he grinned. "I didn't know you could actually fall off the see saw... maybe we should do something a little more safe..."

"Well," Ai mouthed but nothing came out. She coughed, trying to get a voice,"ow," she mumbled weakly. "Atleast its something."
She quickly latched onto Alex, nodding into his chest. "Slides?" she suggested, looking up at him and taking a step back due to the feeling of 'about to explode'. "You do look nice by the way," she slipped in. "I like purple, never thought I'd like it on a guy though," she giggled and quickly adjusted her sunglasses. They were close to falling off from her own fall.

A small smile grew onto Alex's face, he wasn't complimented very much. With previous girls it was more like 'B.itch! I'm not going to compliment on you because I'M the only one who can be called cute and nice' and well, his mom just liked to bring him down. He showed his thanks by hugging her, but only for a few minutes because he soon took ahold of her hand once again and starting running over to part of the playground with the slides.
He noticed a slide that had two attached to it, perfect for racing. Although, you couldn't really race on a slide... oh hell whatever! He ran over there "You wanna race?" he asked pointing to both of the blue and yellow slide with a grin. The slide itself was pretty long, so someone wasn't already down the slide after a blink.

Examining the slides for a few seconds, Ai regretted choosing the slides...
"Never go to a park with a skirt again. Ever," she mentally noted then half forced a smile. "Allrighty!" she agreed with a bounce in her step as she rushed off to the ladder leading to the pair of slides. "I call the yellow one!" she cheered, immediately sitting on the yellow plastic even though Alex was more likely than not to pick the blue side. She looked down, "I'm glad its not made of metal!" she felt like blabbing. After fixing her skirt some more, she continued to blab, "I mean, its not that hot out but the metal would still attract very bit of heat and burn our tushies," she pouted more than spoke.

Alex sat down on the blue plastic, sliding down the slide a few seconds after Ai. Because he was paying attention to his damn shoes, making sure they were tied into a bow and were tight. So he got a late start, even if it was an amount of just seconds. Once realizing he wasn't going to win this race, he put his feet onto the hard plastic and ran down the slide.
It felt so weird when you ran down a slide, yet fun at the same time. Of course anywhere inbetween there he could have somehow seriously damaged himself, but luckily he didn't. He finished a few seconds before Ai and let out a victorious "YES!!" even though he had cheated to win.

When Ai reached the bottom, she didn't budge. She couldn't beleive what Alex had just done on so many levels.
"Alex don't do that!!" she scolded, folding her arms and pouting. "You could've gotten hurt!" she scolded again, standing up now and staring madly at him. Though, she couldn't have looked so menacing since she had to look up a good distance to see Alex's face fully.
"Oh well.." she mumbled, full of defeat as her stare escaped to the ground and kicked a peice of dirt. "What now?"

"I-I'm sorry" he mumbled out his apology. He looked around at the playground, it was getting a bit late. The sun had already taken its nap and the moon was about ready to take it's shift into the sky. The best part was though that fireflies began to appear, they were just amazing. He looked around the playground and noticed out of all the things that brought back his childhood the swingset.
EVERYONE went on swingsets. Especially on dates, even in the damn movies. He let out a shiver from the new cold air and then began to walk over to the swingset, for the first time not dragging Ai along.
Once there he waited behind one swing until Ai was there "C'mon" he said "You can get on the swing and I can push you" he told her, looking up at the sky, noticing it to become slowly darker. He rolled down his sleeves so that his arms were both covered, trying to keep a bit warmer.

"It's okay..." she mumbled to no one, seeing as when she had actually got to her senses to reply Alex had already begun to drift somewhere else. She slowly followed him, smiling from the fireflies that lit her path and even more so when Alex suggested to push her on the swings. "Yay!" she cheered, running towards it and plopping on the one in front of him. She pointed to the sky, "push me until I reach there!" she shouted like a child with a huge smile.
Staring at the beautiful mix of blue and orange and all the evening sky colours for a moment, Ai's smile softened and she threw her head back, "thanks Alex."

"Alright baby" He smiled as he began pushing her back so the swing would gradually go higher and higher. He knew it was impossible to be as high as the sky but he was going to go what seemed the closest. A few times he got distracted by fireflies, a few for whatever reason almost invading his shoe.
Finally, what seemed to be pretty close to reaching the sky, Alex stopped pushing her and got on his own swing. Hopefully catching up to how high she was soon.
"Are you good at jumping off these?" he asked as he had almost gotten himself as high as Ai.

"Um..." Ai couldn't think so well seeing as she was focusing on swinging her legs back and forth so she could stay at the height Alex had graciously pushed her at. She wasn't very good at multitasking. "No..." she said after some pause then looked to him and noticed he was about as high as she was. "Can you?" she asked, even though she had already decided he could. If he could swing that high without anyone pushing him, he could probably do an elementary playground trick like jumping off swings.

By now Alex was as high as Ai, he looked over at Ai. "A bit" he shrugged "I'm good at the jumping part, just not the landing, oh no. I can't get the landing right at all. Try anyways okay?" He said "At the count of three I'll jump then count again for you 'kay?" He swung back and forth for a little bit before counting down
"one two" "THREE" he shouted as he jumped off his swing, hopefully luck would be on his side and he would land correctly.
Luck f.ucking hated him.
He landed on his back, he would have landed on both feet but as he was getting his balance on the earth he fell. He didn't even try to get up, he was in so much pain from the stupid fall. Still he counted off for Ai though"One, two THREE!" he shouted.

"A-are you sure you want me to jump?" she shouted to him, but when he reached three she decided better to do it than not.
Many thoughts went through her mind, especially since her legs wouldn't do what she told them to. Her main thought, though, was "this is going to hurt like hell I'm going to die from the frikkin pain!!".
Luckily, this didn't really matter since where she landed had a nice cushion. Alex.
Of course, she didn't really notice until she lifted her head and saw brown fluff a little bit away.
"OMFGBBQWINGS IM ON ALEX"
"U-uh...are you...okay?" she grunted out, doing her best to roll off of Alex but that wasn't going so well. "I mean...like..of course you're not fine and dandy but are you atleast not feeling like a pancake?"

"I-I'm alright" Alex winced from the pain from both of the landings. "In alot of pain but not going to die anytime soon...." That wasn't such a good idea now was it? maybe I should have moved before the countdown... He couldn't get up, so he laid there, trying to give a kiss to Ai to prove everything was at all, but it really just failed and he somehow ended up brushing his lips against the hair he had said he loved so much at the carnival when he had become rather nervous.
Out of everything that was happening, him being in pain, Ai ontop of him he still seemed to notice a shoelace untied. "OH HELL NO" he shouted "Ai.... can you tie my shoe for me? Please? I'll award you with a kiss" he said smiling, he knew if tried to tie his own shoe he'd be in alot of pain afterwards and complain about a hurting back. Then he'd seem old and that was lame. SUPER lame.

"Alex...as tempting as that sounds," she grunted, finally able to roll off of Alex and beside him, reaching for a hand but her arm eventually died. "I think my skeleton is broken," she exaggerated.
Again, she tried reaching for his hand using all her strength and was finally able to grab hold of it. Granted, it wasn't much of a grip but atleast she got it there. "The world hates us, doesn't it?"
she was able to smile a bit, but unable to show it to Alex. Instead, her eyes shifted more up, the sky glowing with fireflies.

"Exactly" Alex mumbled, as he took off his purple shoe, seeing as he couldn't stand wearing an untied shoe. So now he had only one purple shoe on. Oh well "I Think this is punishment for calling Luther a gay face. I think he curse me with his freakish hair or his seahorse" That, or it could have been for stepping on Lesley's foot and saying he was probably gay with his bestfriend. But he didn't need to announce that to Ai.
"The fireflies are so pretty" he mumbled "I use to catch them as a kid..." He rested his head on her shoulder, closing his eyes for a few seconds. Maybe he could fall asleep... ok, on second thought no.

Ai giggled like she did when Alex had called Luther "gay face". It was still funny to her that that was his goodbye to him.
"Then why am I cursed too?" she whined softly, adjusting her head so both of their's could fit snuggly around eachother. "I only did it once when I was a kid..." she admitted, the peacefulness of the scene sending her voice into a trance. "When I was visiting my grandparents during the summer," she paused to yawn, "a few years ago..."

Ok, so obviously Ai and Alex didn't die from the swingset thing and did whatever the hell they did after that.)

"Lalala~" Sunny sang as she spun around in her frilly dress outside the teashop. She was waiting for everyone to show up. To what exactly? A teaparty of course! She had no better way to spend the money she earned at Subway then to gather up a bunch of boys and her bestest friend and drink tea and eat delicious treats. She told everyone to dress up fancy; it was a tea party. Sunny had overdone it though. She looked like she had popped out of a Fairy Tale or Disney Princess movie. She even had a little tiara on. Along with dressing fancy she asked everyone to BRING a plush toy, mostly so she didn't look strange with her purple crocodile (which was wearing a small tophat and a real monocle). "I hope they didn't forget come" She mumbled.

Alex groaned as his mother and Stacey kicked him out of the shiny blue car. He squinted his eyes because the sun's rays were so damn bright. "Where the hell is this place anyways?" Alex grumbled to himself, holding a small Charmander in his hand. Yes, that was correct a Charmander. From his childhood days of Pokemon obsession, he himself had to admit it was so goddamn cute. He was wearing pratically what he wore the to date with Ai, only he had a white shirt on and a red tie with the skinnies.

I wonder what would happen if I lit my car on fire.... Riley thought while playing with his lighter while there was a red light. Opening and shutting it, watching the small flame come. I shouldn't try it... he reminded himself. He really only had the lighter because he was fascinated with fire. Although at times he would light a cigarette and smoke it. He too were invited to Sunny's tea party. Riley wearing what he did at his grandmother's funeral. Button up shirt and a black vest. He had to wash it a few hundred times to get the 'dead' off. He replaced the boring black pants he wore to the funeral however with some pimpin' pinstripped pants from the thrift store. Hooked on the pants were a few chains, one of the chains being the chain to a pocket watch in his pocket. He kept on playing with his lighter, not noticing the green light, hopefully Lesley (who was carpooling with him) would notice for him.

Ai yawned, looking out the window as she was driven through the array of buildings. "Are you sure its here?" her dad asked her, "yeah..." she replied, continuing to scan until she started spazzing.
"What what?!"
"This is the place!" she cheered, noticing her friend twirling out in the front. After shouting a quick 'sayonara' to her father and grabbing her beloved plushie--Gaara--, Ai jumped out of the car and started running until she was out of the street, then going in slow motion. "Suuuuuunnnnyyyyyyyyyy~"

Seeing as his father was still at work, Luther had no choice but to drive to this place. Seeing as there was no one home, he was still frikkin' asleep. He opened his eyes slowly, baby blues scattering to find the clock when Sunny popped into his head. 12:30. Way too late. "Gaaah...I hate myself, hate hate hate," he grumbled to himself, smacking his forhead lightly as he got up. "Better late than never," he tried to convince himself. "There might be ice cream..."
Without further delay, he jumped out of bed to get ready.

"Don't freak out. Don't freak out. Don't freak out," Lesley kept on repeating to himself as he stared wide-eyed at the fire from the corner of his eyes. Finally, when he noticed the change from red to green he sighed from releif. "R-riley, it's green," he alerted him, pointing to the traffic light. He really wanted to get to the party without burning to death. Like Riley, he was wearing something from a previous event, though it had nothing to do with death except that it made him want to die from embarassment. It was a white uniform shirt with a pink sweatervest, and neatly ironed grey pants. From a golf tournament he had entered.

"AAAIII!!" Sunny squealed, as she too began to go in slow motion, only she was skipping. She had her crocodile in her hand as she ran and was bursting with joy because atleast her bestfriend showed up. Once she reached where Ai was she have her a big hug. "Oh my god this is going to be so amazing like there's going to be tea and cake and all that jazz and oh my god Luthey is gonna be there and it's just going to be awesome and look at my croc's monocle so SA-SWEET" She explained, talking really REALLY fast. You could probably only make out a few of the words she was blabbing about. She looked to the side, noticing Alex with something in his hand. It looked like a dinosaur.

After getting some help from where the hell the teaplace was Alex hurried over there with Charmander. he noticed Sunny quickly, from her rather odd dress and then Ai who was at first running very slow and then got hugged by Sunny. He waved to the girls noticing Ai carrying some sort of doll thing. What the hell is that? he questioned.

Riley stopped playing with the lighter and began to driving again. He turned the volume on the radio a few levels too high and began driving over the speed limit on the road. The random things he did just because he was eighteen. Finally, the two boys arrived at the part of town the tea party place was in. Getting out of the car he turned to his friend "What stuffed thing did you bring anyways?" he asked, taking out the one he brought from his pocket. It wasn't even a plush toy, it was one of those beanie baby things, and about the size of Riley's fist. A little toy mouse that made that one squeaky toy noise and was both beaten up and old.

"OMIGAWSH MONOCLE," Ai repeated about the only word she could understand coming out of her friend's mouth and gawked at the tiny monocle. "And top hat, good job Sunny," she stepped back from the hug to look at her friend. She looked beautiful. Magical, too, like those disney movies she always spazzed about. She felt a little odd, the only fancy thing she could find in her wardrobe was an aqua strapless dress from back when she was much younger. Sure, it was shorter, but it still fit and since it was originally floor-length it didn't go much past her calves. She didn't do much else but add a small bow to her hair which she thought was fancy enough even though it was decorated with dinosaurs and she didn't spike her hair as much, but still kept the emo bang. That didn't go away.
Not even noticing Alex, Ai continued to chat with Sunny. "I brought Gaara-kun," she announced, holding him up and smiling proudly.

Luther got dressed quickly, putting on the most fancy thing he had hoping to make up for his lateness. A plain black suit he attained when his mother had gotten remarried. Even though he didn't particularly like his stepfather, he was glad for their marriage solely because now he had something to wear. Even though it wasn't striped. "Needs something else..." he mumbled to himself, looking around his room. "Aha!" he reached for an old discarded pink and purple striped tie his mother had given him. It wasn't his favourite thing in the world, but atleast it was something. He grabbed it, put it on loosely, grabbed Mystery and tied his long hair in a pony tail before leaving the house.

After rejoicing internally from surviving a near heart attack, Lesley now turned utterly nervous once more. He didn't have a toy of his own, so he had to borrow from his sister who would only let him borrow her seahorse or a unicorn. And he didn't want to be a copy cat...
He looked to Riley, noticing the mouse. He frowned, he was so sure he would bring the shark he won just for his friend...he almost felt his heart break before uttering out "this..." and lifting the white and blue unicorn from the floor of the car.

"Yaay!" Sunny grinned, forgetting about Alex for the time being. "Now we just need to wait for everyone else" she said "IF they come" she added in a bit of an angry tone seeing as it was already getting late. She tapped a foot, looking around the place (except where Alex was) to see if anyone had popped up.

"HELLO?" Alex finally had to yell out seeing as he was waving for a good few minutes and still he had been ignored by his own girlfriend and her friend. Seriously what the f.uck is that Gayra thing..... He went silent for a few seconds because he had yelled so angrily and loud. He folded his arms, sighing.

"ALEX" Sunny said spinning around and then taking the monocle off the crocodile and placing it on Alex's left eye. "There, you're complete with your fanciness!"


Riley tried not to let out a burst of laughter from the 'magical' unicorn. But he was close to, he was snickering that was for sure. "Out of all things a unicorn?" he asked as he walked to find the location and began sweaking the mouse. He stopped in mid-walking and randomly (and out of nowhere) began to curse "I FORGOT THE SHARK!" he screamed "I am the worst friend ever.." he mumbled "I'm sorry Bryan" he frowned.

"Alllllexxxxxx~" Ai greeted when he pointed himself out, now dramaticly slow running to him. After a few moments of that, she sped up to him to give him a quick hug, holding her toy in her arms afterwards. She looked up to him, giggling at the monocle Sunny had placed on him. "Now Mr.Crocodile doesn't look as fancy, though," she sighed, looking down and cluthing Gaara even more. "Oh well, I guess its okay, since Alex looks perfect now," she smiled lightly and quickly turned to Sunny. "When are we going inside?"

Lesley almost had yet another heart attack when his friend, out of nowhere, began to scream in the middle of the lot. "N-no! Its okay!" he reassured his friend. "I mean, you probably have some reason for liking the mouse better!"

"When Luthey and the Leys get here" Sunny said, looking around for the long haired boy and the best friends; mostly for Luther. Damnit, if he doesn't come to this I'm going to be mad.. She thought to herself, thinking he wasn't going to come, but then having a small amount of hope that the boy would show up. Maybe he has better things to do then be here..... Sunny looked down at her pink princes dress, touching the silky cloth, with one hand while still clutching to the Mr. Snugglemuffins with the other.

Alex touched the monocle, wanting to say that it looked stupid but he held it back. He had his arms crossed again, looking inside the tea shop. "By the way" he mumbled "here's the damn plush toy" holding up the Charmander. "Yes. It's Charmander. Roar" He practically said everything in the same exact voice. So damn monotone. "I was obsessed with pokemon..." he whispered regretting saying it and hoping no one had heard about his childhood obsessions. "Uum" Alex began brushing brown hair from his eyes "What's that Gay-ra thing?" he asked pointing to the plush doll with red hair, noticing the japanese or chinese whichever country it was symbol. "Is it like from China or something? Goddamnit why does this thing's eyes have panda eyes he doesn't have eyebrows either....." He kept on blabbing about what was wrong with the 'doll'.

"it's not that I like it better" Riley started "It's just....like........" He bit onto his lipring. "It squeaks okay? I like squeaky toys....." As he was talking he kept on looking for familiar faces or a tea shop. Where is this place? he began wondering. "I'll make it up to you" he said as he opened up the messanger bag that he had taken with him. He pulled out two fedora hats with a feather on them, bought at the thrift store. He was a thrift store whore. "Here" he said placing a black hat on the boy's head, a white ribbon wrapped around it with a red feather. Riley went and wore the other had, which was the same other pinstripped and a blue feather.

Ai smiled a little when Sunny used the boys' 'nicknames' although no one ever really called them that unless they weren't around. Except for Alex, who now, because of his constant blabbing on what he found wrong with the doll, wiped the smile right off her face. "His name is Gaara," she pouted, twirling to face herself, and the plush toy whose fictional feelings were now hurt, away from the boy. "And I happen to think those things make him look cute. Cuter than your stupid Charmander."

"You didn't have to..." Lesley sighed a bit under his breath when his friend grabbed into the bag of magical thrifty things. When it was placed on his head, he grabbed the rim and smiled. It did make him feel a little bit...cooler. Then again, anything would if you were wearing something you wore at a golf tournament.
Still, he thanked his friend and spotted someone wearing a pink fluffy dress. No one else but Sunny. "There they are," he pointed out to Riley, now waving to them although they probably couldn't see them.

Riley let a small smile slip onto his face, seeing as they found the teashop. Hopefully, it wasn't one that only little old ladies went to and if he sipped his tea 'incorrectly' he'd get whacked with a cane and called obnoxious. He had this experience with his grandmother (not the one that is dead, this was his other grandmama) before in teashop. He looked over at Sunny's magical dress and realize their thoughts on what 'fancy' was, were way off. Still, she looked nice and pretty like she had escaped from a Disney Princess movie. He walked the same slow pace he was earlier, knowing she would probably be the one to jump, run and hug the two boys with the fedoras.

Ugh, I want that charmander.... Sunny thought looking over at the Charmander in Alex's hand, Mr. Snugglemuffin's needed a friend. One to be with him all the time. She looked around, trying to spot anymore people she invited to tag along, noticing what seemed to be Lesley and Riley with nice hats with feathers. She started to walk away from Ai and Alex towards to what she thought was the other boys. Once realizing it was them she began to run and when she finally reached them she (within seconds) hugged Lesley. "Yaay" she cheered, not letting go of the younger boy. "You guys actually came!" she said smiling. Now the b.itch just needs to show up....

"Charmander is the second cutest thing on this planet!" Alex argued, looking at his orange plush, "Dude, I've had Charmander on my ninth birthday cake, I doubt Gayra was ever on YOUR birthday cake" He brushed a few pieces of hair out of his head, not realizing that Sunny had left them "Anyways, is that thing suppose to be your personal Edward Cullen? Because I will NOT go and try to be like him just to make you happy"

"Y-yeah..." Lesley mumbled all he could really say at the moment. A girl was hugging him. Not only a girl but one that looked like a disney princess. He wasn't sure if he should feel like he was at disneyworld or a tea party as he felt a little underdressed and slightly felt a little depressed when he realized his sweatervest and the girl's dress were the same color. Though, this was only for a second since the fact that a girl was hugging him popped back into his head and he felt better.

At the mere mention of anything from twilight, especially Edward Cullen, Ai nearly spazzed. She whirled around to face Alex again and thrust Gaara in front of her, holding on to his little nub of an arm. "Gaara-kun is much better than that stupid old Edward! He has a personality!! And Gaara-kun is enough to make me happy I don't need you to be a stupid immitation of him because I doubt you could pull it off anyway RAWR!!!" she continued to yell, then something caught her attention and she stood back upright, cuddling the plushie again. "Wait, if Charmander is the second cutest thing in the world, whats the first?"

At last, Luther managed to get to the area he thought the tea shop to be but then utterly forgot the rest of the directions. "Dammit I'll just call her..."
He grabbed his cell phone from the little door cubby and pressed the speed dial for Sunny, waiting for it to ring as he displayed his road rage at someone who couldn't merge properly.

Once Sunny heard the Disney music chime out of her cellphone she let go of Lesley and searched through her sparkly light blue purse. Finally, she found the hot pink phone and saw it was Luther "Hello?" She asked, her voice in a not-so-pleasent tone. He was suppose to be here by now, and alot of unlikely reasons were running through her head. She once again hugged Lesley, waiting the boy to respond. She touched Lesley's hat with her free hand. "Those are spiffy" she mumbled, touching the feather, and then looking over at the pinstripped one Riley was wearing.

Riley tapped his foot, not hearing Sunny admire the thrift store hats because she had said it so softly and he was paying more attention to his phone now. Playing a simple cellphone game, where you had to shoot other spaceships. He was more focused on the game -seeing as he wanted to beat his recent score- then the other two, he hadn't even noticed that Sunny had hugged Lesley again. "damn spaceships" Riley muttered out, pressing on the key to shoot them rapidly.

"Well" Alex began, placing the Charmander on the sidewalk and placing both hands on his hips minus the whole girly look to it. "I was going to say it was you but you just had to go and blab on about that stupid doll thing that looks like it's ready to kill someone." He looked away from Ai, placing his hands in his jean pockets. "By the way I wouldn't change myself even if you wanted to" He added.

"Hey Sunny..." he mumbled into the phone, feeling kind of embarrassed he had to call for directions to a place he should've arrived at a while ago.
"Can you give me those directions again? I wanna make sure I got the right place," he lied to save that problem, but wasn't exactly sure how to explain his being late...
It sounded kind of *******-ish to announce you had been sleeping and just now remembered the party.

Lesley sighed when Sunny let him go to answer the phone, about to go back to Riley before getting pulled back into the hug. At this moment, he didn't much care for Riley. He finally got the damn courage to, only slightly, hug her back but the rest of his body was pretty much stiff. He couldn't help but to hear the conversation, immediately recognizing the voice on the phone to be Luther's. By his words, Lesley could tell he was coming soon and he sighed mentally -being too nervous to even open his mouth- and knew that the glorious hug would be over soon.

[Poor Riley </3 another one fallen to the victim of WOMEN.]

"I'm an idiot...no wait, we're both idiots, aren't we? A fight over who's doll is better just got blown out of proportion," she sighed and let her plushie-holding arm limp to her side and was about to put the other in her pockets, but then realized that dresses don't have those extremely useful things. "Good," she finally said something. Ai ambled to Alex, eventually standing next to him. "Don't ever change," she ordered him, smiling to the ground.

Sunny didn't even notice Lesley hugging her back, a bit too much worked up in the whole Luther not being here and now him calling saying he needed directions again. "You skank" She said
"You would have known where it was if you actually cared enough to get here on time... but you're probably too busy banging the girl next door or whatever you're doing...well Me and Ai and Lesley and Riley and I don't know if Alex cares but we don't want you here because you're not worth waiting for to have delicious tea and scones with!" Flipping the pink phone shut and breathing deepy for a few minutes she let go of Lesley finally.
"Uum.. sorry about that" She said laughing a bit of nervous laughter as she turned to the way to the tea shop, taking the lead and looking at the ground. "We don't need Luther to have fun" She told mostly herself as she realized she had walked too far without the other two.

Yes Ma'am Alex wanted to say, but he decided against it. "Okay" He said a bit unsure but agreeing to it. He sighed, putting his hands in his jean pockets, unlike Ai was able to do. He picked up his Charmander and held it in one hand as he looked at Ai. "Where is everyone anyways?" He complained, not sure what else he could really say.

Luther blinked at the phone in his hands. After all those accusations he didn't really know what to say and just decided not to call her back. "Call Alex instead..." he told himself and pressed the speed dial for his number now and waited for him to answer; praying all the while his future best man knew the directions well enough.

Now, Lesley wanted to die. The glorious hug was over and now he had to go drink tea and eat small snacks and who knows if there would be a banana. Were those considered fancy snacks? He honestly didn't know. He hopped next to Riley to walk beside him, fixing his hat.

"Over here," Ai answered, dragging Alex along with her toneless voice. "Answer your phone, too," she told him after realizing the sequence of static tunes was coming from his phone and not her purse.

"My phone...?" Alex's inaudible voice asked, not even realizing he had kept his voice so low. He took the cellphone out of his pocket once seeing it was the only person left missing from this 'party' he flipped his phone open. "Hey Luther" he said before grabbing ahold of Ai's hand -while still trying to hold onto the pokemon doll- and began dragging her along with him as he walked at a slow pace towards the rest of the group. "Where are you?" He questioned Is he even going to show up for this...? Alex began wonder.'Sunshine gal is going to b.itch at you for being late...' almost slipped out of his mouth, but he bit his lip to keep himself from mentioning it.

After a few more minutes of demolishing spaceships on his phone Riley finally gave up with trying to beat the score. He put his phone away and decided to pay attention to the other two seeing as they were done hugging, at least for now. "You seem upset" Riley said seeing Lesley's expression had changed bit. He was saying it now since this was probably the only time he'd remember to say it without Sunny around (seeing as she was busy taking the lead).

Sunny turned around seeing where the boys were, she had gotten pretty far ahead of them; she walked too fast. She began thinking up a rant in her head and then actually started to complain outloud "Agh.. Luther sucks" she said trying to keep herself from screaming. She had planned out this whole teaparty for atleast more than a day and she really had wanted everyone to come. And everyone besides him was here. "Boys suck...and so do I for being so stupid about this whole thing..." Grabbing ahold of the tiara she had bought just for this special event she slammed it on the sidewalk. After a few moments of silence she ran over to where the tiara was, and saw that her anger had caused her to break it. Almost all of the gems had fallen off of the tiara. Picking up the tiara, Sunny look for more broken pieces more upset with the tiara now than she was with Luther not showing up.

(And that is what happens when you oversleep on a day of a morning party. You make girls break their tiaras. LAWL. -is shot-)

The sight of Sunny tearing apart her tiara caught Ai's attention and, because of 'best friend instincts', she tore away from Alex and rushed by her friend's side. It wouldn't matter much anyway, right? He was on the phone with his best friend. She had every right to talk to hers at the same time. "Sunny," she whispered to her friend as if they were discussing where the hid the cookie jar. "Why'd you break your pretty head thing?"

"I do?" Lesley questioned, still fixing his fedora. Sure, he was a little upset but he wasn't aware it showed on his face. "I'm sexually frustrated, the second definition," he confessed to his friend, adjusting his voice to a low tone and seeming to hide under the hat. He knew he would regret telling even his best friend for this. Mostly because it was Riley.

"Glad to hear someone doesn't jump straight to the yelling."
"Hey Alex," he greeted, after honking his horn to another idiot driver. "Can you give me directions to the place? I wanna make sure I'm getting there correctly."

Alex frowned once his hand was no longer taking ahold of Ai's. The thoughts of did I do something I wrong?! or She must not really like me! raced through his head seconds after she did it before he realized she was running to her friend. He then went back to Luther "Can you not call me next time?" he complained, not meaning to but growing a harsh tone "I have texting for a reason..." He began to walk back and forth as he went back to Luther's question "It's like in that shopping center. You know.....Kelsea broke up with me here and then you happened to be here about half an hour later and I forced you to listen to my complaints and bitc.hing and how there was no meaning to life anymore in exchange for ice cream. You really can't miss us, Sunshine gal is wearing a pink dress so bright it'll burn your eyes, you better be close because I doubt we're going to wait any longer for you"

"Because..." Sunny frowned keep her gaze on the sidewalk then using the excuse "Luther is a skank" She really couldn't say this now without giggling and pasting a smile onto her face. Calling men anything feminine was always like this for her. "If he does come he better be in the goddamn best suit I've ever seen or in either a pink frilly tutu or a dress" Now, Sunny was giggling even more, but eventually it faded and she linked arms with her best buddy. "Let's go!" she instructed pointing back to the teashop "Adventure awaits!" she grinned before she began to skip We're off to see the Wizard the wonderful Wizard of Oz went through her head seeing as that's what she remembered best in the whole movie- the four linking arms and skipping.

I don't speak Dictionary Bryan would have came out of Riley's mouth if what he had said before 'the second defenition' wasn't making him laugh hysterically. After a few good minutes of uncontrollable laughter, Riley finally had to stop because he was afraid he might either die of laughter or begin choking somehow. "Oh god" He grinned breathing in and out heavily, once he was sure he wasn't going to have another laughing fit he put a hand on Lesley's shoulder. "Don't worry, your day will come......." he said and then grinned even bigger as he said "Even if it is with a whore" He then went back to having another laughing fit, although it soon died out and all he had left was a grin slapped onto his face.

Luther sighed. It wasn't right off the bat, but Alex was still sounding mad. He was just trying to get to a tea party, why did he have to be put through people's crap?
"Sorry Alex, but I'm afraid if you texted you would misspell atleast 5 of those words you said," he said in his monotone voice while checking the time on his radio. Damn was he late. How long were they really going to wait for him?
"Thanks, though. And for the last time, her name is Sunny," he told his friend once more and hung up the phone as he pulled up the shopping center. He got out of the car as soon as he found a parking spot, soon regretting it. Luther tugged on his own sleeve, making sure it was straight and he looked nice enough for his friends to forgive him...now if only he could spot them.

"Adventure!" Ai echoed childishly and skipped with her friend. She brushed off the 'Luther is a skank' comment since she seemed not to care much about it either. "Let's go to candied island!" she shouted louder. The whole 'adventure' thing was starting to remind her of a cartoon she'd watch often. "Erm...uh...a tea party!"

"I knew I shouldn't have said that," Lesley told himself, pulling the hat more and more so it covered his face for as long as it took Riley to finish with his laughing fit. "Same to you, Riley" Lesley said to him in a slow, slightly angered voice.

"How rude!" Alex grumbled out as he flipped his phone shut. "I'm a texting pro!" He said proudly, talking to absolutely no one but himself. "I would be spelling all of those words correctly" He boasted on "Luther doesn't know what he's talking about!" Instead of ranting on about this in his mind, Alex decided to go oral. He finally shut his mouth when he spotted Ai and Sunny- arms linked.
"Hey" he called out giving a short wave and a small smile to go along with it. Once they had skipped their way over, he slipped his phone back into his pocket "Prince Charming called" he informed the girl with the Princess-looking dress "Never gave a reason why he was late or where he was though....It was kind of odd....he also judged my texting skills" he babbled on, now that there was someone else to talk to Alex was about to babble on about his 'awesome texting talent' butSunny had interrupted him first.

"I don't care" She said simply, referring to the fact that Luther had called, although she didn't care much about him babbling on about texting. After a moments of silence from the three she finally slapped a grin on her face that showed her metaled mouth. "Let's go inside, we've been waiting long enough!" She said as she skipped towards the entrance her arm still linked in with her buddy's. "Hey guys get your booties over here!" She called out to the two other boys, who were still pretty far away from the tea shop.

Riley frowned from the mention of his real name coming from someone who usually just called him Sharkie. Most people would either call him Sharkie or by his middle name- Weston. So when he heard someone besides adults call him Riley it sort of shocked him a little. "Yeah you heard her" Riley said starting to walk a little faster towards the tea shop "Hurry up Lesley" he smiled, hopefully this wouldn't turn into 'war' with calling eachother by their real names.

"Prince charming?" Ai questioned, promptly being dragged away by her best friend. A straight AB student, yet she couldn't put the peices together. Still, she let her friend drag her away without so much as saying hi to Alex since she was too busy drowning in confusion. Mostly confused about what a tea party was like, but slightly so who Alex could be calling prince charming. Again, it made him seem just a little gay.

Lesley smirked a bit when he saw Riley's shocked face. Though, his smirk was quickly wiped off when he, too, was called by his first name. "Oh this is war..."
"Hurry up to you too, Riley," Lesley said in a slightly harsher voice, walking faster and past his friend.

"Where are theeeyyy?" Luther whined mentally, still standing in the lot. Eventually, he started to walk around, seeing people in dresses but no pink princess ones like Sunny would wear. He swore to himself he could spot her a mile away but couldn't find a sign of her. Soon, he started to follow the people dressed the fanciest, trying not to feel like a stalker all the while.

"Waaiiiit" Alex nagged realizing that Sunny (dragging Ai along with her) was already heading into the tea shop. He took one more glance around the area to see if Luther was there. Seeing he wasn't he followed along with the two other girls. Once inside they were all greeted by the workers, like they were robots and programmed to do that. Someone around their ages came to show them to their table, which was odd for Alex seeing as he was holding a stuffed animal and with two girls. Where the hell are those other two? He wondered looking back and seeing Lesley nor Riley were behind him. He then took his glance back to the waiter boy He probably things I'm a geek.... He noticed he didn't look familiar and probably wasn't from their school, he gave him a slight glare assuming the blonde waiter boy did think he was some loser who had nothing better then have tea with stuff animals and girls.

Sunny tried to keep herself from squeeling, the tea shop was drop dead beautiful. She hugged onto her crocodile as she looked around into this marvelous wonderland. Once escorted to their table (which already had six mix-matching tea cups waiting for them) the waiter boy even pulled out seats for the three of them, which would have been much more pleasent if Mr. Grumpy Alexander hadn't snapped that he could pull out his own chair. She sat down grinning a grin that showed those dorky braces and was just inlove with this place.

Riley groaned So he does want to go into war... he thought, reminding himself Lesley was probably more worked up about this then he was. "You just addded my name in that on purpose didn't you?" he snapped at him as he marched infront of him. He was assuming that Sunny and the gang were still there and they were holding the door open for the two. So he didn't look where he was going. And as result smacked right into the glass door. "Who the f.uck put that door there?!" He shouted, as he grabbed the handle and opened the door wearing a frown into the tea shop, causing only a few workers to greet the boy with the fendora. He instantly went to looking for the girl in the pink dress, not caring if Lesley was behind him at the moment.

Ai sat down, almost missing the chair being distracted by the beautiful interior...and the boy who had pulled out the chairs, and let herself wear a smile when Alex had snapped at him.
She looked to Sunny, realizing she was experiencing the same wonder and she was now happier before, which made her even more happy as well. "Oh," she realized Riley and Lesley weren't at the table after a brisk looking around. "Where are the Leys?"

"Oh, whatever are you talking about?" Lesley was about to say before bursting into laughter from Riley's 'habit'. "Gosh Riley," Lesley sighed, brushing a fake tear away, "thats exactly what I love you for," he said mostly to himself before following behind his best friend.


"Found it!!" Luther wanted to exclaim but kept it inside his head as he stared above him and able to tell from experience this was definitely a tea shop. He set food inside, instantly reconizing Lesley from behind and knew this was the place. Though he didn't talk outloud, he waved, not expecting to be noticed but just to do so.

Alex kept his glare on this....'tea shop boy' until he left the table and could no longer be seen. He placed his Charmander on the table (actually scooting it a bit away from himself) and sighed. "Well" he said "This place sure is fancy" he grumbled out as he folded his arms looking at his tea cup. It was big, like it was a bowl with handles and well.......pink. Goddamnit. Waiter boy did this on purpose. He just HAD to pull out the seat that HAD the pink cup. He must be trying to make me look stupid.... He's out to get me....no........he wants my woman.....!! With such stupid thoughts racing through his head Alex hadn't even noticed the blonde haired boy return with a pot full of tea and a tray full of cupcakes.

"Yeah, yeah" Riley mumbled as he found the rest of the gang, not noticing Luther was behind him and Lesley. Before he even sat down he grabbed the pot of tea before Sunny could get ahold of it and poured it first into the cup he intended to be his and then into the rest except for poor Luther. And then sat down with a smile on his face, as he put several sugar cubes into his tea cup. He then noticed that the cup looked ancient and could possibly at any moment just fall apart. "Well" he said awkwardly smiling after all this silence "This looks nice" he complimented nodding his head as he scanned the place before grabbing a cupcake, eating small pieces of it with a fork.

Seeing Riley eat a CUPCAKE with a FORK horrified and disgusted Sunny. "No" she said simply "You don't eat cupcakes with forks mister" she informed him as she reached for the fork, stopping when she noticed someone in a suit with long hair pulled back into a ponytail. She forgot about stealing Riley's fork and crossed her arms and looked away from him. "Well look who showed up" she said a little too loud so he'd be able to hear her.

"Omigawsh cupcakes!" Ai spazzed when the tea shop boy came back, ignoring the tea and going straight for the cupcakes. "I love this boy..." she sighed with sparkley shojo eyes staring at the beautiful cupcakes. She witnessed the Riley eating cupcakes with a fork, thinking it to be a bit strange and about to laugh when Sunny got involved but it got lost in her throat when she noticed Luther. Not wanting to view what she predicted to be a bloody melee, Ai turned back to her cupcake; first pretending to feed it to her plushie then eating it herself.

"Yeah, mister," Lesley finished Sunny's deed and took the fork from Riley. After putting away his beautiful pink unicorn under the table, Lesley looked up to see Luther pop in around the corner and sit down next to him, yellow sea horse in hand. Lesley blinked, wondering why he was late but decided he Luther would tell if he wanted to. So, he sat quitely, staring at the boy cautiously from the corner of his eye while sipping tea.

As soon as Luther sat down, he looked at the people around him. Everyone was here but him. Great. Looking for a distraction, he picked up his tea cup and stared at it. Empty. No one even bothered to pour it in his memory? He sighed, looking at everyone again and spied the steam streaming out of their cups. "It'd probably be too hot to drink anyway.." he mentally whined, putting his cup down and giving a nervous smile to the people around him. "Um...yeah, I made it," he finally choked out words and a smile at once.

"What's so great about him?" Alex growled out, hearing Ai say how much she loved this boy. "He's stupid" Alex stated simply "What kind of man works at a teashop?!" He complained before mumbling out "He must be gay" Taking a few sugar cubes Alex tossed them into his teas stirring the tea with a spoon until it seemed like a small whirlpool. Giving a frown he looked around for the waiter boy again, really hoping he'd leave so someone else could serve them. Stupid, stupid tea man He looked at the rest of the table and noticed the empty seat had FINALLY been taken. Where had he been all this time? Instead of saying hi Alex have a short wave to his friend afraid actually speaking to the boy would lead to trouble with Sunny.

Riley blinked for a couple of seconds, wondering why it was such a crime to eat a cupcake with a fork. It had the word cake in it, and you ate cakes with forks so why couldn't do you do the same with cupcakes? Well, that was Riley's logic anyways. "I'm just going to commit a worse crime for you taking my fork away" Riley protested, grabbing ahold of his spoon and eating the cupcake with that, sipping the tea that must have been atleast have sugar.

"You're lucky you look gorgeous or I would have kicked you out" Sunny sighed sipping her tea without adding any sugar. "But you still need to explain yourself" She smiled realizing she was hiding the crocodile from the rest of her guest. She put it on the table next to her cup of tea and looked at Luther, not really angry with him anymore. She kind of just wanted to laugh it all off now.

"B-but..." Ai whined, holding the cupcake in her lap and pouting in it's direction. "He has cupcakes!!" she exclaimed, immediately showing a smile as she took another bite. The ginger girl looked to the blonde with cupcakes once more before turning back to Alex, waving to Luther with him. "Psst, have a cupcake," she whispered to him with an out-of-place sly smile.

"Whatever Riley,"Lesley shook his head, smiling at the boy before taking a cupcake of his own. He took a bite, not exactly fully enjoying the creamy taste and put it down on a small plate set before him, pushing it away like it was some sort of diseased thing.

Luther sighed; he knew this was coming. "Better sell this, Luthey," he told himself. Lying wasn't exactly the thing he was best at. Seeing Sunny bring out the purple crocodile let Luther smile and calm down a bit, "I was lost. Thats it."
He poured himself soem tea finally, noticing Alex's wave and giving him a girly princess wave back. He put his seahorse in front of Sunny's, leaving it be to drink from his cup, immediately regretting it. It burnt his tongue and it showed on his face.

"I don't want a damn cupcake!" Alex shouted, ignoring Luther's beautiful princes wave; glaring at the cupcakes with a pouty face. Ah damn, they looked good. Infact they looked fantastic, trying to ignore them he forced a few sips of steaming hot tea down his throat leaving a burning sensation in his mouth. Forgetting about being against eating the cupcakes he grabbed one to cool his mouth. He had proved he was a fat kid on the inside by haven already devoured the first one and eating a second. God damn sugary goodness Alex cursed forcing himself to put the almost finished cupcake down. He had frosting all over his face and couldn't even realize it.


He's probably saying my real name in his head too.... Riley thought taking another spoonful of cupcake and frosting before seeing Lesley push his away. "What the hell?" Riley asked trying his best not to start shouting "How can you not eat a cupcake?" After the words slipped out of his mouth he pushed the plate back towards Lesley "EAT THE DAMN CUPCAKE" he finally shouted, forgetting the manners his parents had barely taught him and shoved the frosted pastry into his friend's face. Moments after he started going into giddy laughter, trying to hold back snorts. He finally stopped but kept a toothy smile, as the girl who invited him here shook her head.

"Stop playing with your food Sharkie!" Sunny said promptly before going back to Luther, sort of chary about his excuse. "OK" she mumbled to the boy as she took a swift look under the table slightly kicking him "Nice shoes sweetie" she said before taking a sip of her tea and cheering "This tea party has officially started!"

Ai could do nothing buy go into a noisome fit of laughter. First, it was only a subtle giggling from Alex's random act of hypocrisy, but she happened to catch Riley's sudden cursing about the cupcake and shoving it into his best friend's face. She covered her mouth but that didn't help much; her shrilling laughter still escaped and she almost felt like she couldn't breathe. Damn, Riley was a genius.

"F-fine, I'll eat it," Lesley mumbled under his breath, not really minding the fact that food had been thrown into his face but more with how he was going to get it off. Finally deciding on picking what was left of the cupcake off his face and scooping the icing off his face and licking it off his fingers, Lesley did so in silence all the while hating himself for not eating the damn thing in the first place.

"What the waffle cones?" Luther brushed off Sunny to stare at the scene going on beside him. What the hell were these boys doing? And at a tea party? He slightly wish he weren't wearing a suit now because this was obviously a fail at a serious event. Whatever, he let the boy next to him continue to lick his fingers (because secretly he thought it was a little hot -shot-) and looked back to Sunny then back to his empty tea cup.

Unlike her bestfriend Sunny couldn't find roars of laughter escape her laugh from what Lesley was doing. It only brought a feeling of slight annoyance, and much like Luther upset that she dressed up to have this happen. Sighing she looked to her cup of tea for support, but found nothing but an auburn colored liquid. She took a sip of the sweet tea, and tried to decide what was worse Luther being late or Lesley licking is fingers. Maybe it's becuase both of their names had begun with L's, or maybe men were just obnoxious to her in general.

Trying not to gag from what Lesley was doing, Alex took two cupcakes from the cupcake platter and shoved one in his mouth trying to ignore the scene so he'd (hopefully) stop it. He didn't take what he was doing as a rude manners much more of....suggestive manner. Nothing new for Alex since this was the boy saying after almost all his friend's sentences 'that's what she said'. Shoving the rest of the cupcake in his mouth he forgot to keep thoughts in his head and ended up saying through chews of cake "You're such a whore Lesley"

At this point, Ai was able to keep from laughing but still kept her smile. She took another cupcake, her eyes meeting with Alex in the process. How many cupcakes was he going to have before he said something stu-...too late. "Alex don't say that!" she mouthed to him, waving a finger.


"I'm a better manwhore than you," Lesley mumbled, a little surprised at even himself. Still, he caught the stares of others and stopped licking his fingers, using the clean napkins he really didn't want to soil instead. "Uh...I'm sorry..." he mumbled bashfully.


"Finally," Luther sighed, trying hard to keep it inside of him. "You're fine, just use your napkin, like, always," Luther mumbled while at last pouring himself a cup of tea. "Is there any ice...?"

Alex could read the words Ai was mouthing, but he didn't have time to think about what Ai had 'said' because of what someone else had said. Lesley. He didn't know if he should be bursting out with laughter so loud the whole tea shop would be able to hear it or yelling at the older boy on how he could not be better than him in (almost) anything. Alex soon realized however, he was more angered from this matter than humored. For once, he did the smart thing and allowed himself to calm the anger inside of him for a good few minutes. He sipped his tea and ate the rest of the frosted part of his cupcake before taking a deep breath and saying
"You're so silly Lesley" He said it in such a mature tone, he was suprised that he was able to be so mature on the matter. If only his mother could see him! Her outrageously stupid son had sounded intelligent!
"No one! I repeat no one! Is a better whore than me" he grinned closing his eyes and putting a hand to his heart "Especially a stupid, girly-named boy like you!" He smiled oh so widely and let out a bit of laughter. His glory of sounding a BIT intelligent had been murdered by his dim mind. "Of course unless you want to PROVE you are" he said a thick smile remaining on the face until he slurped the remaining tea from his cup.

Sunny was all a bit suprised by what Lesley had said, since you wouldn't expect such a boy to say such a thing that made her think What would your mother say?! She let out a gasp, but that was covered up by Alex's blabbing. Did this man ever shut up? She decided to stay out of whatever the hell Alex was trying to start with Lesley and dropped a few small ice cubes that were shaped like stars (because ice cubes shaped liked ice cubes were such a bore!) into Luther's tea. "There you go cookie!" she smiled, trying not to giggle from calling a boy such a thing. This could not be helped however, and as she sipped tea she giggled here and there from something only she thought was funny.

"He can do it!" Riley finally said a few moments after Alex's rant. Deciding choices for your friends was not always the wise thing to do "Bryan can totally kick your ass in being a manwhore!" Riley boasted, he'd go on with the boasting but he didn't want to turn into Alex with having to rant on for what seemed like centuries of sh.it they just said five minutes ago. He looked over at his friend giving a slight smile.
uum, he wasn't so sure what he had just gotten his friend into, but Lesley HAD to be better than Alex who could easily mess up in his own stupid way. Well, that was Riley's thoughts anyways, who really didn't think Alex was that good at anything. Not better than his friend atleast.
