My mouse is messing up on my laptop and it won't go where I want it to without giving me a hard time. Does anyone know what the heck the problem is?

Maybe you have something greasy or oily on your mouse-pad thing. Try rubbing it off or something.

Ah, mouse problems. Well first, is your mouse a regular mouse, like it has a ball under, or is it a one of the laser mouses? :]

It's the one that comes with a laptop that is closest to you. I'll take a pic of it and post it here.

Hm.. the pad. :3
Well theres a few things that could be wrong with it.
Either its your laptop thats having a hard time with seeing what your pad/mouse wants, or is doing, or, your pad is dirty, or something along those lines.

Normal if it were a normal mouse, you could unplug it and rebot the computer and or laptop, and then plug it in and it could work.
Most of the time though, on laptops, the pad does mess up because its built into the computer, rather then being a normal mouse ^^;;

Though, if your pad does keep messing up, I suggest getting a regular mouse and plugging it into your laptop.

I could be wrong, but my dad is good with computers so i kinda learn from him ^^;; So hopefully this helped at least a little? XD And if not, try rebooting your laptop and try again. :3
Thats all i have! xD

Okay and I shall try that. Thank you for your suggestions both of you. I really doubt cleaning it, since I already cleaned it to see if it was something on it.

xD haha your welcome :3 Again it might not even be the pad, but the computer since the pad is build into the laptop :3 So that could be the problem too.

I hope it's not the computer because I got it out of the shop a couple months ago and would not like to return it to Geek Squad.

xD Well I'm sure as long as the computer doesn't have any virus's[that you know of] and isn't running slow, then I'm sure its fine :3

It's just the mouse that's the problem.

I have personal experience with those bloody things im a computer nerd and they drive me nuts a couple things may be the problem here 1 you may be pressing too hard or too soft on it believe me they are very tempramental it could be a virus or malware but i doubt it in my opinion your best option is just to get a usb mouse and plug it in make sure the mouse is USB though not ps2 (and i dont mean the console) as ps2 sockets on a laptop are a rareity at best
