Okay so I was oh....about 12 and I was in Wal-mart with my mom and two younger sisters. Both of them got Littlest Petshop toys and I kind of wanted one because I have to play with them a lot when I babysit so I had a few of my own but I didn't really like them. So my mom goes to get groceries with my sisters and I go back to the toy isle and started looking at Littlest Petshop stuff. Well the one I wanted was on the bottom shelf so I had to squat down to get it. Whislt doing so someone kicked me......RIGHT IN THE ASS! So I thought it was my sister so I was going to say something, I stood up and there's this guy I have never seen before! He looked like .......er....20-ish.....maybe 19. And I looked at him in a mix of: :eek: :confused: :( and DX but then I also raised an eyebrow at him so it looked like I was all "dude your dead". I comtemplated screaming "RAPE!!!" at the top of my lungs and see if the person in the next isle would come help but instead he was just like "Sorry" and ran off. So apparently he mistook me for his girlfriend that he brought with him, I saw her as we were leaving and he was apparently telling her about it because he looked up at me XD.

My mom flipped when I told her!

Everywhere is at least an hour away unless you want McDonald's which is only 30 minutes away

The irony is, that on air line, where I live is actually 5 minutes driving there.. But, we live on a mountain.. so we have to circle it, and go down, so it takes more then that.. 35 minutes when driving alone.. 50 when picking up more ppl to school.

The rest until now was fine but kinda boring XD.

I was reading on a college level in like...fifth grade. o.o Of course, now the stupid pills have kicked in. >.<

And I'd rather go to school in a prison than in a somewhat backwards school. SC is a state known for its idiocy and poor standards {just google Mark Sanford >.>}, and I happen to live in it. People wonder why I want to move to Japan...and if it wasn't 80-something grandmothers I'd tell them the real reason: it's halfway around the world from hillbilly hell. I feel like I'm stuck in this state, though, because education's a wad of crap and unemployment is pretty high...we're like, first or second in highest rate of unemployment by state.

Seriously, I can't take Japanese...not even online. And it's like finding a needle in a haystack to find a college that offers it, too. WHY DOES MY STATE SUCK SO MUCH.

Wow. My school already has cameras...and we had lockdowns a lot last year because apparently some parent kept threatening the school or something...and then there are specific doors students can't enter from to help keep us "protected"...like that would do any good. If an intruder wanted to get into the school there are plenty of ways they could, even with those doors locked. But the stupidest thing ever is that, after lunch, certain students can't get to their lockers. Like, if you have first lunch and your locker's on the 200 or 400 wings, you're screwed if you don't get your books before lunch. And speaking from personal experience...if you have first lunch your first priority is getting your ass into a food line, not getting your books. //.// I am so glad this is my last year at that school.

Yeah, the super intendent wrote a bomb threat in order to get a grant to get cameras installed. They say they want to "keep us safe" but really all they're doing is stalking us. No joke.

Ugh, yes. And we can't be out in the hallway without a pass...and when we leave the room we have these little sign in/out sheets we have to sign so they can "track our movement" or some other bullsh!t excuse. Most of the time I forget and I haven't gotten in trouble yet, lol. But then we can't have phones or mp3 players out...luckily there are a lot of teachers who are lax with that rule, though, and we can still bring our own personal laptops if we have them~. Uuuuunfortunately the firewall sucks ass. Can't get on youtube because the district-allotted bandwidth won't allow it, proxies are constantly banned...I'll put it like this, I was surprised when I was allowed on LiveJournal. {And then weeping bitter tears of hate when it wouldn't let me on DramaWiki, citing something along the lines of torrents or something...torrents are D-Addicts, not DramaWiki. Pfeh, uninformed idiots.}

Nudity and sexuality I can understand...but art and culture? Wow. I'd be kicked off the internet in about 2 seconds because I love looking up anything to do with Japanese culture. >.>

I find it kind of sad that schools aren't really trusting their students. Not that students these days are really to be trusted...but still. Maybe if the doors are open they'll walk through? Give us a bit of trust and maybe hope we'll exhibit trust-worthy behavior? Pretty much the only reason I dislike public school is because it's largely institutionalized and everybody gets the same thing - be it yucky lunches or suspicions.

Our PCs and internet and all this buisness is actually pretty advanced in my school.. And this school is fine... About cameras.. I dont think we have that, but we have "guards" a fat lady and a fat dude with a gun >_>.

Well...a lot of them are more fanservicey, and there IS a lot of hentai, but there are many anime DON'T contain sexual content. Or...well, at least not blatant fanservice and hentai.

Our computers suck. Other people use them and get them all gummed up with lovely spyware and adware. The 10th graders had to take a test back in like, late March, that nobody else did {it's HSAP if that helps}, and that pretty much messed up everybody else's schedule and resulted in a long time of sitting in a room with nothing to do. So I started bringing my laptop just to have something to do...and I brought it for the rest of the year because it was so convenient. All my bookmarks and all right there and such.

And don't even get me started on those school laptops...most of them don't even turn on. *Dies laughing*

well.. our PCs at school just clean everything that changed or downloaded to them when u reboot them so.. they cant be messed up..
There is only one teacher allowed to change things in them which knows how to work with computers.
Actually they are so strict in the school about the PCs that u cant even move the screen.. u cant go with bear feet eat food or drink in the PCs room..
