Okay, so the plot.....

There are two benders in this world, that after they die, only then will their power belong to another. But they have to die within a reason. If murdered, they will not reincarnate for another hundred years. This same thing happened, a century ago, Seven weeks before the Avatar's disappearance.

These benders were Lin and {Your Charries Name}

After a hundred years of separation, they finally awake to find themselves, once again, separated. They find separate companions however, whom still believe in the light and shadow benders. Whom believed in them. As the each group looked for the other, what kind of relationship will grow between them?

Abilities- use any part of her body as a light source, a lowly dimmed sword and shield, and she can "disappear" within natural light.
Personality- Hardheaded, but takes a long time to ager, she is patient, and smart, blowing up often near her 'partner'
Likes-apples, the natural light, animals, and riding stuff
Dislikes-annoying people who get in her way, guys who can't take a joke, over bratty brats

he growled as he was thrown backwards in to his cell and the earth cuffs vanished.... he could have broken them a long time ago he also could have escaped a long time ago, the place was filled with shadows he could have used but for some reason... he didnt...... he didnt know why but running felt like he would have left something behind...

Lin was being flirted with the guards who were watching her. She was in chains, being surrounded in darkness. "Excuse me," she managed to mutter out, hpoing she was heard over the laughs and chatter. "I can't see your beautiful faces, can you turn on a few lights?" The guards easily bought it, and lit her whole corner with bright lit flames. Even if it was so she could plan an escape, she grimaced in her head, seeing that her guards were not as beautiful as she had assumed. 'Ugghh... There's not a lot of light to work with here, you ugly buffoons!' She just sighed, however, thinking of a plan to get out.

besides the cuffs he had barely anything... a pair of pants, tattered at the hems, and his gold earring.... he was here on account of a crime of bending murder that he didnt commit so his garb was scarse... being taken at night

As lin was poked by sticks, she kept calm and thought to herself for a few moments.
'Why am I here?'
She thought back to when a few children acused her of staling from their house. And when the gurads came, the child collapsed. She was instantly blamed for commiting theft and attempted murder.
'Well, At least the child's still alive... Ok... so why am i not dressed properly?'
She looked at her white dusty shorts, then at her equally white and dusty shirt. her shirt had been scratched at cut, while she was being dragged to her cell, and the same went for her shorts.
She sighed, looking at the light nearby. She softly twitched her finger, urging the peice of light to move closer to the guards, slowly.
'Watch out you big ugly slugs. I'm about to commit attempted murder.'
She looked at their jingling pockets and thought about the money inside.
'And theft. Definetly theft.'

the shadows mewed like a cat, not having been bended in a while and swirled at his feet 'yes I hear you.... just a tiny bit longer ok....'

Lin blew out a blow of soft air, as she moved her finger again, the light leapt, grabbing one of the gurads, pulling them into the wall. She unlocked her chains and the locks on the door, running out as the guards who were drunk started to stir.
Maybe it was fate.
Maybe it was luck.
Or maybe she was just clumsy.
But she tripped infront of another cell. She heard the guards coming, so without thinking, she opened the big, metal door, entering, and closing it, softly. She felt a chill down her spine, and dared herself to look behind her.
And there he was.
A man with long black hair, and a golden piercing, with tattered clothes and a few bruises.

"oi! what do you want? come to beat me up again? crazy bastards" he muttered a whip of shadows hitting and breaking stone at her feet

Lin yelped, jumping as the whip hit the ground. Then she covered her mouth just as the guards ran past the door.
"Hurry! We have to find her!"
"She stole my money!"
"Same HERE!"
Lin looked at the man desperately, her finger over her lips. 'Shhh,' she thought to herself, hoping he would get it.

"so you escaped...... wow..... lucky you" he said stretching as he stood, the shadows moving in time swirling around his hand.. "I could do that to, except I'm waiting for some reason"

Lin looked outside the small window in the door and saw there were more guards outside. She sat down sighing, and said, "It seems as though i will be here for a long time. So... how'd you get in?"

"said I killed someone.... snatched me from my bed.... been here a few months"

"Months, eh?"
She thought back, to a few weeks ago, then said, "I'm pretty sure I've been here in only a couple of weeks." She grinned, the raised her brow.
"If you murdered someone, think you can do it again? Right here, right now. Those guards outside. I want to get out, I want you out with me."

"I dont kill.... I didnt kill who they said I did, wasnt even around didnt know them.... I use shadows by the way" he said slamming open the door with a shadow powered kick

"And I use light," Lin replied, her eyes flashing, as two guards were pulled to the ground by a redish light. Basically, the light of the flames that were used to search for her. "You said you were waiting for a reason, right?" Lin smiled, standing from her place as more guards approached. "Why don't you stop waiting and come with me, shadow bender?" She took a small step back, as if once she heard a 'yes' or 'no', she would run, instantly.

"oddly I think it was you....go, dont touch the walls or the light, I got you shielded"

Lin grinned cheerfully, stepping on a dark corner. The lights everywhere dimmed and she chirped, "Since I control light, I can dimm it a bit. Is this enough?" Without waiting for an answer, she ran off, making sure as she passed by each light, it either dimmed, or she pushed it somewhere else.

'perfect.....' he thought and bended the shadows to a large dragon, pulling all the shadows and leaving only the blinding light behind

Lin jumped on two small peices of light, quickly turning into a somersault over three guards infrotn of her. She elbowed them both at the backs of their necks, knocking them out. She took their money back quickly, before rapidly dimming the lights around her.

"come on out you bastards these shadows want revenge for keeping me cooped up!"

Lin quickly turned to the shadow bender, grabbing his arm and hissing, "Escape first, revenge second." She flashed her grin then said, "Second thought, since I don't know you, just me out of here."

'go' he thought and the dragon whiptailed away blackening everything in a dark fire like substance that he easily walked though "gives the sensation of burning"

Lin let go of his hand before telling him, "My name's Lin. When we get out of here, you have to tell me yours." she found it rude to just call him 'Sahdow bender,' so she offered her name, before asking him first. She nodded, heding off to the exit, either hurting others, or pushing them away, to get to the end. 'Hurry!' she thought to herself, but indicating to the shadow bender behind her.

he let the shadow have its fun as he paced the hall to get to her, it returning and whipping itself out as he raised a hand to catch a bit of black flame where it had been a blink before "your not trusted enough, yet to have that honor"

as Lin headed out of the prison, she was greeted by bright light. An idea came into her head, and she collected as much light power as possible, in her arms and legs. "Sorry,"she whispered, before blasting the light she had collected into the prison, either blinding faraway guards, or knocking out close ones. she waited a few seconds before rushing back inside to look for the shadow bender. she took two fire nation robes, hanging on the wall, and brought it to him. She had a strange feeling that he wouldn't be so interested in light. especially the natural kind.

*hes fine with the sun, he just cant bend in it....like the fire nation on a Soltice...but his is everyday, thanks for thinking of it though

he grabbed the robe and swung it on...the shadows underneath quivering away from the sun and even the simplist of moves didnt work

"If we hurry, we can get to a close tavern." Lin pointed at a far of direction. "There's one an ellhound could get to." She smiled, looking behind the shadow bender, because, lo and behold, there was a barn, specifically JUST for the animals. She headed in and grabbed one, jumping on it. Holding out her arm, she chirped joyously, "Come on, hop up."

his mouth twitched as he saw the beast turn its head towards him.... "ummmm I'll follow... I got my own......oh right... no shadows......good beasty...." he said stepping back from it

Lin arched a brow. "Come on, it's just an eelhound. It won't bite." She paused before finishing her statement. "That is, unless you try to harm it in many ways." She held her hand out once more. "Jump on," she said, her pale eyes, digging into his.

"no....I just cant....try being five and a mother one attacks.... I wasnt even near her nest!!" he pointed to his neck...a slight scar ran up his head and behind his ear

Lin jumped off, grabbing the man's hands, pulling him closer to her. "Do you trust me?" Her words were strong, her gaze not faltering. This side of him is pretty cute, she thought to herself

"since being taken from bed, I dont trust much not even jackalopes... so why?"

"Listen, boy," Lin stated, pulling herself away from him, crossing her arms. "Your a shadow bender, I'm a light bender. Now that we've escaped from the prison together, they'll look for us together."She swiped her hand from in front of him, and instantly, the light was in her hands, and a black spot on the ground. "I can 'create' shadows in the natural light. I can help you." She reached for the eelhound again, looking away from the shadow bender. "But, If you don't trust me now... are you going to have to carry everything on your back, by yourself, later on?"

he looked at the shadow on the ground, reaching but couldnt cross the thin stream of sun.... he grabbed the shadow as he crossed over it and used the beasts legs to get up on....

Lin justs smiled as she jumped on the beast, right after the shadow bender had. "By the way," Lin said, taking Arkain's arms and wrapping them around her waist, just as she grabbed the bridle. "What's your name?"

{It wasn't that deep... and just incase, my charrie is telling your charrie to hold on by wrapping his arms around her waist.}

With a soft tug of the bridle, the eelhound was moving quickly and rapidly to their destination. "Arkain... what a beautiful name." Lin smiled as she said so, for she was blushing a bit, and was very happy Arkain couldn't see her face.

She cringed at her last sentence, just realizing she didn't like the way she put it.

"Like us!? how?....even fire benders lock me up do you expect any safe haven for the only of my kind?!"

"Outcasts," she spoke softly, trying to calm him and herself down. "Everyone there has multiple amazing talents... but have been called monsters because of so." She knew because she had been there many times, being entertained by mind readers, fortune tellers, and people who could make things disappear and reappear, with just the blink of their eyes. "Perhaps there are newcomers," she whispered to herself joyfully.

"if it wasnt for the sun I'd be in my hide out now without needing to walk! look lighty, I cant go in there and I wont be made to, hard enough trusting this eel hound!" he said clutching the shadows in his cloak and jumping off the moving beast with a backwards spring

Lin lashed a whip of light, grabbing him, and bringing him back. "Remember this Shadowbender," she said harshly, her eyes glowing in weariness and lack of sleep. "You. Are in my territory."

he muttered a few unknown curses and sunk back on the eelhound, arms crossing despite the speed
