Hello people! Anyone remember me? Yes, again I'm returning. For... the fourth or fifth time. So, anyone who isn't too annoyed by my constant vanishing, pop in and say hello!

Life. LOL, the end of my school year was nuts, and then in the begining of the summer my sister came to viset for a month, and then I sort of forgot about DW for a while, and I've come back now as I'm house sitting for the month and have nothing to do.

I hope you won't disappear again whence that month is up!

I hope not as well. I won't be around too much tonight, I have placement tests for school tommorow *Fingers crossed I get into to program I want at the college* However I'll probably be around at least untill Sep. when classes start up again.

Hi there, I liked you too ^^

EDIT:
Hey Rocker, been fine. And you?

I might have my friend over tomorrow sicne she didn't stop by today.

Yeah, I don't have a choice. If I want my own place, I need to earn money to pay for it. Otherwise I'd just have to sponge off other people and life off their generosity. And that doesn't sit well with me. To be independent without a job means becoming independently wealthy, somehow. And that's really unrealistic, so.... Well, you know how that is.

That's fun. Wish I were doing that instead of taking placement tests!

Yep yep. I have the luck to still be a minor, even though I still sort of feel like a leech. But I've had a tutoring job and several house sitting jobs that've paid better than my 'job job' was anyway, so that's good.

See, minors really can't get the sort of jobs that let them support themselves anyway, so you don't have to worry about that.

SiriuslyRemus
08-10-2009, 02:28 AM
Exactly. It's very annoying. Allthough I prefer school anyway.

I guess it does give you shorter days, and you don't need to worry about the possibility of being fired.

SiriuslyRemus
08-10-2009, 02:33 AM
That, and I prefer learning to working. I at least find most of school interesting, work I didn't so much.

Hm, you may want to pursue a future in academia, then....

SiriuslyRemus

Yes, well I definatly don't intend to be in a feild with too much manual labor or anything, that's for sure.
I intend to go into either medicine or law, so luckily that keeps me close to acedemia.

Those are both pretty ambitious- prepare to spend a lot of years in school!

SiriuslyRemus
08-10-2009, 02:59 AM
Yup, I'm prepared LOL, like I said, I like school. I'm currently listening to lectures online for fun... found a great part of the Berkley website that allows me to listen to them for free. So far I've done a couple for Anthropology, European history, and English. Very fun :)

Hm, you're quite the scholar. :)

SiriuslyRemus
08-10-2009, 03:02 AM
Eh, when I'm interested, I learn it. If I'm not interested in something, I'm dumb as a rock at it. Spelling for example, as I'm sure you've seen.

Guendolen_Sama
08-10-2009, 03:03 AM
Yeah, can't argue with that one, I'm afraid....

SiriuslyRemus
08-10-2009, 03:05 AM
I try but... unfortunatly I've become too used to spelling things the way I do. In addition I've got some typing issues, so half the spelling mistakes are typos. Eventually, maybe I'll work on it. But probably not.

Guendolen_Sama

Well, if you ever feel ambitious and need a hand, let me know. I'm good at that sort of thing.
