(Can do!)
There was nothing else to say for it- Rome rocked.
Sienna had been ecstatic, over the past few days. She'd never traveled this far from home before, and while she put on a "been there, done that" show for the media, inside she was whooping and cheering and turning cartwheels. Italy was a place she had always wanted to visit. And now she was here!
There was just one problem- the guards. Yes, guards. This tour officially marked Sienna's transition into the position of "international star." Hence, her safety had to be paramount. This meant no solitary roams and rambles. Everything had to be done in the company of staff and security. That was one aspect of stardom Sienna could definitely do without, sometimes....
Hence while she was doing what she did now. Waking in the wee hours of the morning- even the day after her highly successful concert- to sneak out. All Sienna wanted was a couple hours to herself, to walk the streets and listen to the chatter of a foreign tongue around her, to soak up the sights and smells and sounds, and to just... be. To know she was in another land, one far older than the nation she hailed from; that she walked past buildings five and six hundred years old. The incredible majesty of this place made Sienna want to sing.
Ah, there was a thought. Maybe this would give her a song idea.... If she didn't make it back before anyone realized she was gone, that's what she'd say. Artists needed to ruminate their work, right? And a singer was an artist. As Sienna prided herself on writing her own songs, she obviously needed space to do so. And who knew? Maybe what she saw would indeed inspire her. It certainly was incredible.
Keeping that in mind, Sienna took a crescent roll and an apple off the tray in her room for her breakfast, drew up the hood of the hoodie she'd swathed herself in, and slipped out of the hotel into the world of Rome beyond.

Rome was busy, crowded, and a piss poor city for a stray cat. The food was horrible since all he got was the scraps. Nothing special about it when you were around one foot off the round. How horrible was that? Still, Pistol had to stay. Only for one good reason, to find a church or a sacred ground for some way to complain to any angels lingering around here. Though the cat eyes of his were working perfectly to tell who was a human and who wasn't, but he couldn't trust anybody. Food, he thought the minute that he woke up with the sun glaring down at him. Little food ever reached the kitty's tummy since he arrived at this god's forsaken place. Earth was horrible for an angel who had no idea how things worked. Food, he thought once again as he pounced on his little paws through out the streets. As much as he wanted to speak he couldn't because it would just blow his cover or something.

Sienna passed much the morning just roaming the square, and ultimately found herself perching on the side of an enormous sweeping fountain, statuary in the middle seeming to reach into the sky. She leaned back, looking. Words filled her head. "Arms reaching, sky is falling, thoughts of the eternal cost.... Lost in stone, this marble prison, my own words change me- forever lost...." Yanking a small notebook out of her bag, Sienna began to write.
She sat by that fountain for a couple hours, finishing off the breakfast she had brought along with her, writing, re-writing, erasing, changing.... The song needed work, but... it had promise. Real promise.
Sienna looked across the square as she let her mind settle. As she sat, she saw a lone cat crossing the ancient paving stones. A stray?... It looked, somehow, both sad and purposeful. How curious.
A strange whim struck Sienna. She slid off the edge of the fountain, dropping to kneel on the stones. A jhand held out, fingers beckoning lightly. "Here, kitty kitty!" she called. Sienna loved animals of all sorts. Perhaps that was why she felt this urge to befriend this one?...

Here Kitty, Kitty,. As much as Pistol wanted to snap and say "I have a name human," he just meowed at her. He stayed there for a second hoping to figure out what the hell she was doing. He opened his mouth slightly wanting to speak to her but alas he was pulled in by that smile of hers. Cursing to himself as he walked towards the human's arm. Stop it Pistol, he thought. What the heck are you doing man? Why are you doing this? more and more stupid questions filled this cat's mind as he reached the girl's finger tips. Sniffing the finger he could smell perfume and the scent of a pencil. Licking the human finger he meowed once again hoping this human had food or at least milk for him. Though he had no idea where the craving for milk all of a sudden came from, he wanted it, and badly.

Sienna's smile widened. Her fingers scratched the feline right under the chin, listening to the little meows. "Aren't you a pretty kitty?" she murmured, stroking between the ears, and then along the back. "Such a pretty little girl-" Then the cat turned. Sienna picked it up and took a hasty look underneath. "oops! Oh, I'm sorry, boy! I didn't mean to insult you like that! I meant handsome, to be sure." She giggled, scratching his chin more. "What's your name, I wonder? You got a family?" He had no collar, but that didn't necessarily mean anything.
On that note, Sienna's stomach rumbled. She looked at her watch. It was almost lunchtime! "I wonder if there are any food stands about?" she mused aloud. This seemed like the sort of place that may have something like that.

In her arms Pistol cleaned his paws completely ignoring every comment the human woman made. Unfortunately he snapped out of it when he heard the 'food' word in that sentence. Pistol stared at her before hissing for food. He wanted food, and maybe could do some meowing thingy that she could understand for food. Did humans in this Planet understand cats? He doubted, they didn't seem to understand any other animal but themselves so he couldn't help but meow more. Order some milk why you are at it human, he nodded meowing. Maybe fish! No, no, meat! he thought waving his paw at her.

Sienna started giggling like mad at the insistent meowing and pawing. "Aw, what are you trying to say, kitty?" she said. "I swear you're trying to talk to me! Seriously, you are just too cute...." She scooped up the cat and outright snuggled him, nuzzling his head under her chin. "Why don't you come with me and we can try to find some lunch? Are you hungry, little kitty?" He seemed bright- almost like he could understand her!

Kitty? Was this human serious? Can't she see that this fallen angel was a full grown cat? Well probably not, but he was going to have to tell her his real name before she permanently calls him Kitty for the rest of his days. Next thing you know, she'll be dressing him up in costumes, that thought simply sent shivers through his spine. Though the affection was comforting, his tummy was drying out from no food. Once again he meowed loudly hoping that his human can use her giant size legs to walk towards those carts. Kitty glanced down at her legs before glancing about at other human's legs. Geez, These people are giants.

(Is it bad of me to be vastly amused by this scenario? ;))
Sienna unwittingly exacerbated the situation by proceeding to drop a kiss on top of her feline companion's furry head. "I think that's a yes," she said to the insistent mews. "I think a certain kitty-boy is hungry...." She nuzzled his head again. "Come on. I see a little bistro over across the way where I bet we can get some food. I'm starving! Hey, I bet if we even asked nicely, we could get you a saucer of milk.... You like milk, little guy?" Even as she talked, Sienna scooped up her bag- briefly tucking Pistol under one arm to do so- and then made off for the sidewalk cafe she had spotted, feline snugged securely in her arms.

(( xD hahha. ))
Pistol gave up. This woman was thick, and really he didn't want to even bother anymore. if he did nothing he hoped that things would just get 'normal' rather than this woman getting all goo-goo gaa-gaa over him. Was he that really cute? Pistol simply hated that word, he did have pride left, even though most people had confused him as a girl cats. Was ever cat a girl or something? Pistol just breathed out going limp in her grasp as he felt her move about. The milk better be good, he said pouting like a child. "And the food better be meaty, he nodded. Pistol was in a horrible situation and he felt he should be rewarded with some kind of treat.

(Yeah, I'm having way too much fun with this. ;))
Sienna nuzzled her new little companion as she walked across the square, whispering sweet little endearments in his small furry ear. "Who do you belong to?" she asked him. "Anyone? If I knew you didn't have a family, I'd want to take you home with me...." Oh, her staff would proverbially have kittens, if she showed up from wandering the city on her own with a random cat in town.... But oh, here she was. There was a moment of tap-dancing in regard to languages, but soon enough Sienna was ensconced at a table, holding Pistol on her lap with one hand as she held a menu in the other. "Do you want to sit on the other chair, Mr. Kitty?" she said. "I swear, I need a better name for you than that. I'll have to think on it." She'd already ordered him a saucer of milk, along with a water and lemon for herself. Now choosing lunch came about.

( xD hahah i'm glad. ))
what was it with humans that made them get so touchy touchy? Not once did Pistol truthfully enjoy this. He was a male, with little dignity left, so why was this human pushing it? Still Pistol didn't try to get loose. The human was willing to get her milk and fish, that he had to thank her for until he went on his way. Pistol did ignore what she said since he was search for where they were going to eat. Finally when they entered the place that the tummy of the animal growled for something to eat.
The menu glared at him with lists of food that was just waiting for him to eat. Food! he thought eager enough to eat everything on it. He once again zoned the woman's pleasant voice as he focused on the food he was going to get. Glancing over his thin shoulder up at her he pawed at the words Fish,. He pawed and meowed at the Tuna Salad.

Sienna giggled at his insistent pawing. "I swear, little guy, you know how to read or something!" She dropped another kiss on top of his small, furry head. "I'll get you some tuna. Kitties don't eat mayo and stuff, but they'll have the fish to make the salad out of. Yeah, some tuna is just the ticket for you. The cat we had growing up loved it." Sienna laughed. "If you could talk, I think I'd let you pick what I'm getting, because I can't decide. Everything looks really good."

Pistol meowed understanding his task. Even though his master was quite annoying with the affection she was pouring on him, he was her pet now. Pistol was an angel and surprisingly he had to do whatever she said, he had signed a contract to do so in heaven. Pistol stared at the menu, reading each item and it's description. Meowing again he pointed to the cheese burger, because everyone loves those. Really Pistol was simply making a guess at what she would enjoy. He really knew nothing about that human girl.

Sienna chuckled again. "I swear, you really do understand me," she said. "You want me to get a burger, huh? Wonder if you're just aiming to steal bits off my plate," she teased. Her staff tended to discourage her from eating such foods, saying it might mess with her complexion, or, horror of horrors, her waistline. One frustrating tip about being in Italy was being surrounded by wonderful food but being told she shouldn't eat it....
Well, this settled matters. Sienna was going to have that burger- and tonight, her dinner was going to be whatever the heck she wanted, and hang the stylists. Sometimes a girl's gotta live. "You know, that sounds pretty tasty. You pick good, Mr. Cat." She stroked his ears with one fingertip. "You know, only in Italy would they give you the option of a pasta side with your burger...." Which Sienna was definitely ordering.

Pistol stretched yawning loudly as he jumped down to the chair next to Sienna. He started glancing about before reaching and placing his claws up on the table as he looked about. He counted so many humans in this room and only two non-humans. Unfortunately none of those turned out to be angels that he recognized. Pistol stuck his tongue out lightly, getting quite annoyed that he can't find a single angel. Where's my milk human? he asked looking over at Sienna as though she had read his mind.

The sight of the little feline sitting in a chair with his paws on the table made Sienna laugh out loud. "Oh, keep that pose, hold that, hold that...." she murmured under her breath. A hand dipped into her bag, extracted her cell phone, pushed a couple buttons.... And snap! There was a fine picture of Mr. Cat, sitting cute and pretty at the table! "Oh, that's gonna be my wallpaper now," Sienna said with a grin.
At that moment, the waiter came by with Sienna's lemon water- and her cat's milk. "Here you go," she said, sliding the dish over in front of him. "I'd like to get the cheeseburger with- um- bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a bit of ketchup, with the side of mushroom Alfredo, please? And a small salad." Sienna fixed him with disarming grin as he wrote down her order. "Also, a dish of tuna for my kitty here." That garnered a bit of a look, but Sienna's smile had the effect that he just shook his head ahd went back to the kitchen to place the order. "Lunch'll be here soon, Mr. Cat," Sienna said. "Hm, if we're going to hang out together, I need to figure out a proper name for you."

While she ordering and going ahead and talking to the other human, Pistol reached over and took the phone from her grasp. It was easy since she wasn't even focusing on him, but rather food. Pistol would his damn paws, where really not helpful at all, to type up the word 'PISTOL'. Damn, these ungrateful paws, he hissed. Finally after so many tries and using his tail to smack away her hand if she ever tried to reach him. Meowing once again after accomplishing the task of telling her his real name. Seriously, he would of gotten to great measures for her to start calling him his real name instead of something annoying like "Mr. Cat".

Sienna was so caught up in ensuring the waiter understood her order that she didn't notice the feline pawing at her phone. The waiter did get an odd look on his face, though.... However, it was rather perplexing to find her text message section open to an unsent message simply saying "Pistol." Sienne picked it up, giving it a weird look of her own. "Okay. I sure didn't do this. So how the heck did this happen? One thing's for sure, this did not happen by accident...." She glanced at the little feline sitting beside her. "You better now send anyone death threats off my phone!" she laughed. The idea of a cat using a cell phone- it was so ridiculous, yet so amusing too.
LEESA !
08-29-2009, 03:12 AM
She was dense it was practically sad. Pistol rolled his eyes, now planning to find another way to tell her his name. So starting a draft message was a horrible idea, Pistol wasn't going to give up. He simply went to town on the milk until there was practically nothing left. He had gone at least two days without something drink, so cut the poor cat some slack. Where's my food human?, he asked himself hopping onto the woman's lap and reaching over to place his paws on the table to get a better look of the place.
Guendolen_Sama
08-29-2009, 03:19 AM
To give Sienna credit, she wasn't used to operating in a world where cats knew how to type on cell phones. Hence, it was only reasonable that she not reach that particular conclusion. She laughed in unexpected delight as he hopped into her lap. "Getting affectionate on me now, are we, Mr. Kitty?" she said, the laughter still in her voice as she stroked his back. "Or are you just looking for your food? Don't worry, it'll come. I swear, you're such a little pistol!" Sienna paused. Glanced at her phone. Then glanced at him. Hm.... Was someone somewhere trying to give her a hint?
LEESA !
08-29-2009, 04:55 AM
Did she really use his name? Finally! Was his human smart or what? Once she did use her name his head purred up to look at her as though he was waiting for a command. Unfortunately the look didn't last long, he just went back to look out for the food. Pistol was simply doing one thing at a time, and this time he was ready to eat. Maybe the name could wait for the time being, but than again, she didn't want her to permanently call him Mr. Cat. It's Pistol you silly human! he called out in his head.
Guendolen_Sama
08-29-2009, 05:00 AM
Sienna thought a moment more, even as she listened to him purr. The sound led to more absent-minded stroking, as she did so. "Pistol... hm...." She tried the words out aloud. "How about that for a name, Mr. Cat? You are a pistol, after all. So why not call you after one? What d'you think, buddy?" She looked down at the cat, grinning and not really expecting an answer. He may seem like a bright feline, but Sienna knew full well that cats didn't talk. Not outside books and movies, anyway.

08-29-2009, 05:10 AM
Pistol was training his human quite well. Though it was against the law to talk to her in public and honestly he had no plans to stick around that long. So there was no need to open his mouth and speak in words that she could understand. Good human girl, maybe I can train you to do some tricks, he seriously thought about it. Pistol, if he was planning to stick around, would train her for his own enjoyment. Of course it was going to be such a long tedious task since he couldn't speak English.

(Hee hee. He amuses me. ;))
"Hm, you're not arguing, so I'm thinking that's a yes." Sienna added unknowning insult to injury by kissing the top of his head again. To her, he was just a fuzzy cuddle-love.... As time passed, she was more and more certain that she wanted to take him home with her. The only thing stopping her was the idea that he may be someone's pet already. Even if the poor thing did seem so very hungry and thirsty.... He'd already emptied the saucer of milk, after all!
At that moment, the food arrived. For Sienna, a big cheeseburger with a dish of creamy pasta and a small Caesar salad; and for Pistol, a bowl of chunked, fresh tuna. "Doesn't that look good?" she said to the cat. Then her gaze returned to the waiter. "Thank you so much. If it isn't too much to ask, might I have another dish of milk, please? My kitty is very thirsty today."

Pistol forgot to pack his manners when he got kicked out of heaven. He simply dragged the plate onto the next chair, spilling a few drops on the way. He moved the plate away from human grasps before digging in. Maybe he could get his human to order more for the hungry cat, because truthfully he knew he was going to finish it. He simply ate quickly as though someone was going to reach over and steal his plate and he'll never get another plate of tuna. Tuna, he began to think, is quite good, he noted in that cat brain of his.

08-29-2009, 05:29 AM
His obvious eagerness made Sienna laugh out loud. "Well, you sure wanted that!" she said. There was something so inherently charming, about this little cat. He was coming across as more and more, precisely clear about what he wanted and going for it. "I wish you could tell me whether or not you belonged to someone already," she mused aloud between bites of her burger. "If I knew you were homeless, you would come home with me in a moment. I'd give you tuna every day, if you wanted."
LEESA !
08-29-2009, 05:36 AM
Did the human say "Tuna every day?" Really he ignored the other words, but this time he opened his ears to hear that. Quickly he jumped on her her lap and placed his paws on her shoulders. Take me home you silly woman! he shouted in his mind. Serve me tuna till I die, he ordered hoping that he would grow arms and shake some sense into her. He had no tag and it only took thirty minutes for the woman to figure out his name. Really he could careless who the human was that took him home, but since she was offering the whole tuna situation he was going to go home with her.

08-29-2009, 05:45 AM
Sienna burst out laughing as he leapt upon her, nearly choking upon her first bite of pasta in the process. Truly, it was delicious, but she was so enchanted- and entertained- that she scarcely noticed. "Man, it's like you really are trying to talk to me!" she said. "You're seriously bright, I swear it. You saying you want to go back to the States with me? It'll be a long plane ride, kitty-man.... I hope you're up to it!" Her arm encircled the cat, hugging him. "But if you really have no home- and given the lack of tags and how hungry you are, I think you might not- I'd love to give you one. You'll be my special little fur-friend...." Her nose nuzzled his head.

Was the affection necessary? Well he rather fly in planes than suffer some more of the woman's shower of kisses. He had done flying before, with wings, but not an aircraft sort. How bad can it be? Well than again he had gotten tones of people from air plane crashes up in the pearly gates place. Right, now get me more tuna my human. he ordered as he nodded softly. He couldn't tell if she could see his nod but he was too hungry to care. He was going fill his tiny stomach of tuna and milk. What a wonderful thought.
Guendolen_Sama
08-29-2009, 06:01 AM
In Sienna's mind, the affection was very much necessary. This was how she was with animals, and as far as she knew, Pistol was a stray who needed a home, no more. "That's a yes, then," she laughed. "Hm, can't wait to see the looks on everyone's faces when I bring you back to the hotel with me.... But hey, you haven't finished your tuna yet. You can't be done already, can you?" Not with the way he'd wolfed it down at first!

"I do believe you're a bottomless pit," Sienna said with a grin, ruffling his little furry ears. At that piont, the waiter returned with the second bowl of milk. "Might I have some more tuna for my cat?" she asked, smiling prettily. "He's extremely hungry today. I promise, paying for it is not a problem." Stealing the milk from the man's grasp allowed the cat to drink up as much as he wanted. The milk was sweet and cold, just like he liked it. Truthfully Pistol felt more and more like a cat since he had been put into this body. Though the whole size difference with humans and animals still pisses him off, he's becoming more adapted to the body. He knows how fast he can run, how high he can jump, how long he could hold his breath, and how long he could last without anything to eat or drink. He can always use his adorable looks to charm humans into doing his bidding, which made it easier for him to developed a connection in a cat body.

"Hm, I see I'm going to have to keep plenty of milk around for you," Sienna mused as she ate more of her pasta. For now, she was savoring the rich, creamy sauce. Her staff always tried to get her away from such things, insisting they were too fattening and what not. Well, this tasted too good to care. Sienna would just take another walk around the square to compensate, was all. She watched little Pistol as he ate so eagerly. "I wonder what your story is, little one?" she mused softly.

"Anything else for you, Mr. Cat?" she asked him, stroking a hand down his soft, furry back. "Or shall we walk back to the hotel after I'm all wrapped up here?" It was likely a no-pets hotel, yes. Maybe he could at least protect the human that was going to give him a ride, food, and etc. So maybe this human could become valuable to him. Maybe.

Sienna laughed. Several people stared at her, to see a cat essentially riding on her head. A few even snapped cell phone pictures. After the first one or two, Sienna started playing it up, grinning and striking poses and what not. No one seemed to know she was the newly famous rock star Sienna Miller; probably because she had come out normal, without her stage make-up or style on. It ws amazing what a difference superficial things could make.
"Hm, you'll be handy to keep my head warm in the winter," she said with a laugh, reaching up to pat him. Soon enough, she reached the hotel. There was a special VIP entrance reserved for people like herself.
There was an explosion of sound as soon as she walked in the door.
"Miss Miller! Where have you-"
"Sienna! What did-"
"You were so quiet we worried you were ill! We-"
And finally....
"Why do you have a cat sitting on your head?"
Sienna plucked the cat in question from her shoulder. "I just took a walk around the square and had lunch in a sidewalk cafe. Don't worry, I never left public places, and I was safe and secure. Even worked some on a new song. Oh, and this is Pistol. He needs a home, so I'm giving him one."
There was a rush of gabbling words at this. Sienna stopped it with a raised hand. "That's enough. I'm keeping him, and that's final. We'll get some flea bath to wash him with before we leave, if anyone's worried about that. We can even get him a collar and tag, and see if there's a vet willing to check him over and verify that he has no colorful diseases. But he's staying with me, and that's that. All right?" This was a firm Sienna, businesslike and definite. The side of her that got things done. And they were happening now!

Pistol had found himself staring at the people. Was his human of some kind of importance to their race? Well he knew that she couldn't be some kind of princess or queen. Her manners were far from formal. But maybe she was famous? Maybe something because of her voice? What was is it called? Singing? Maybe she was a singer?!Yeah, her voice was truthfully soothing and he liked listening to it. Or maybe she was just famous for some other reason that Pistol couldn't find himself to think further about. All he did was daze out until finally they began talking about him. Words like bath, fleas, and vets! Those were probably the only three words cats didn't like to hear. Well that and "no more tuna!", but seriously? He had been clean, he was a angel for heaven's sake! So why all the extra precaution?

(Hee hee.)
Sienna obviously had no idea what was going on inside her cat's head. All she knew was that arrangments had to be made. The plane departed tomorrow morning, so things had best be prompt. In a pinch, Sienna would smuggle him home in her luggage, but with luck it wouldn't come to that. That meant paperwork to prove he was healthy, making sure he was clean, etc.
Soon enough, staff members were going in all directions. One was finding a shop to procure the flea treatment and a collar, to have a tag printed. Another went along in order to fetch food and water dishes, some cat food (and a couple cans of tuna, since Sienna insisted), and a litter pan. The last was on the phone, seeking an appointment with a vet. "Don't worry, we'll get you all fixed up," Sienna whispered in his little ear, sitting in a chair with him in her lap. "Then you'll have a nice new home with me in the States...."

Pistol hissed when people tried to grab for him. What did people what from him? Humans were so rude just reaching over and trying to grab for him. Quickly, Pistol pounced off the woman's lap and ran around the room trying so hard to get away from people's grasp. He didn't trust these people, besides how dare they touch him. Pistol, when he was in heaven, he was praised and never touched by other people unless he allowed them too. He was going to run as much as he wanted to until they have given up.

"Pistol! Come here!" Sienna was out of her chair in a flash. "Stay still right now! Don't open the doors, anyone!" she said to her staff. Who knew where he would run off to? "Pistol, sweetie, come on now," Sienna said, in almost a croon. "It's okay. We want to help you. You're going to have a nice bath, and then you're just going to visit a kitty-doctor who will show us you're not sick, so you can come home with me. If you come with us, you can have tuna afterward...." After all, she swore he understood every word she said. It was uncanny.

Kitty-Doctor? Seriously?! This girl could just be truthful and just say that god awful word vet? Besides bath? Geez was this woman trying to make his life a living hell? The last thing on his mind was bath and vet. Vet's seemed rough and from the gossip he's heard from other cats, they were Satan himself. Plus baths, those were like cat's destroyers. They drained out all the energy and power cats have, ooh how horrible.

He was being difficult.... "All right, let's see if we can do this another way," Sienna said to her staff, having no idea of his level of true understanding. "You, guard the doors. As soon as he hides, everyone blocks escape routes, and the person with the longest arms or easiest reach catches him. Got it?"

Pistol jumped upon the dresser and onto the highest post of the bed at each end. He sat there steadily waving his paws and hissing at those that were trying to grab him. (Ha ha! This amuses me.)
Sometime later, Sienna would find this scenario positively comical, every one of them trying to catch one small cat.... Putting up quite a fight, he was. Two of her staff members were keeping him busy in front, making grabs just out of paw's reach. In the meantime, Sienna crept around the side, very slowly, and as soon as he was looking the other way, made a pounce and grab of her own, trying to snatch him unawares.

Pistol meowed loudly hopping onto one human's head and jumping onto another. Pistol was always good at predicting someone's next moves, but there was just to many of them to concentrate. Pistol just continued onto what he was doing. Jumping around high places, people's heads, and hiding under objects that they couldn't reach him.

(I can imagine!)
Pistol leapt just as Sienna grabbed, which meant that she fell face-first on the bed, just missing whacking her face off the footboard. Tuna? Was that her card? Well damn it all, it was going to work. Pistol hissed seeing how he was so easily defeated. He looked around at the people tired. He landed on the ground and sat there calmly as he began licking his paw clean. Damn, you human and your threats, he cursed in his head.

Sienna wheeled to an unexpected halt. It- did it actually work? Or did just the word "tuna" get through?... Either way, Sienna wasn't going to push her luck. She crept over slowly, gathering Pistol up in her arms. "There's a good boy," she crooned. "If you be real nice and let us give you a flea bath and take you to the vet, I'll give you a nice big dish of tuna afterward...." Maybe it was bribery, but Sienna didn't care. This had to be done quickly to be able to take him back to the States with her.

"Hm, maybe I should make that an extra-large helping of tuna," Sienna said with a smile. "But only if you're extra good!"
The room door opened and shut quickly. "Miss Miller! I've got the flea shamopoo! And a collar- red, like you asked for- and a name tag." The tag in question was a simple disc, engraved with the name "Pistol" in block letters.
"Thanks! Get the water running, will you, please? Warm, but not scalding." Soon enough, there was the sound of water into the bathtub.
Sienna gave Pistol a snuggle-hug. "Now, I know you're not going to like this. And I'm sorry. But I have to do this. After this one time it'll be Advantage, so you'll never have to have another one of these again, I promise. I'll try to get it over with quick...." On that note, she bore Pistol into the bathroom, kicking the door shut behind her.

Pistol growled a tad bit hearing those words, "bath". Pistol made no effort to escape and runaway. Tuna was on the line and he didn't want to do anything wrong to get that. Besides if he did find a way to get out of here, where was he suppose to go? Would someone like Sienna be around any time soon? He doubted. Make a quick shower, human, he ordered.
Guendolen_Sama
08-31-2009, 01:42 AM
Sienna couldn't hear his order, of course, but something made her chuckle. She made sure the door was shut firmly before kneeling down on the towel on the floor. The water was nicely warm, and the shampoo bottle already opened. Sienna made a mental note to make a special thanks later.... "Okay," she said to Pistol, "we're going to try to make this quick. I'm going to put you in the water and splash you to get you wet, lather you up, and rinse you off. All you have to do is stay still and not scratch me. Okay?" She gave him a hug and then slowly, carefully, lowered him into the bath.

Pistol's twitched. How annoyed was this cat at this moment. How dare a human bathe him. Though he had no thumbs, the cat wasn't in any way hurt that disallowed him to use his paws. If he could he would gladly order the woman to stand outside while the male cat bathed. What if she dared touch him- down there? Ooh, how much his pride will go down in a matter of minutes.

Pistol was radiating annoyance. "This is for your own good," Sienna told him sternly. "To make sure you don't have fleas. It's just this one time. So hold still and don't splash me up!" Then she carefully settled the feline in the water and started gently splashing warm water over his fur, so as to wet it before applying the anti-flea shampoo.

"Miss Sienna! Everything okay in there?" a voice called through the door.
Sienna almost slid head-first into the tub, but then promptly said- "Er- just fine! Though I'll need a dry shirt, in a couple minutes!"
After much struggling, Sienna was finally able to get Pistol all rinsed off to her satisfaction. This involved employing the shower head, which in turn got even more water all over herself.... She really should have worn her swimsuit, yup. Or maybe a wetsuit, come to that. Either way, she did fish poor Pistol out of the tub, swathing him in a big, soft towel to start rubbing him dry. "There's a good boy," Sienna crooned, kissing the top of his head. "All nice and clean now...." She got as much of the water out of his fur as she could; the rest would have to air dry. He was a shorthair, so that ought not to take long. Finally, though, she set him down on the towel and yanked off the soaked shirt. The bra underneath was purple and lacey. At the same time, someone knocked on the door. Sienna cracked it open, not enough for a certain cat to make his break yet. "Oh, the shirt. You're a lifesaver." Still, Sienna figured best take things a step at a time. "Just hold on a sec-" She tucked the cat under her arm and scrambled to get one of the dishes out of the bag from the pet shop. It took some more time to fill it with water one-handed. She set it and him on the table in the room; it was easier than stooping to the floor. Sienna stopped in her tracks so fast she had to windmill her arms to keep from falling over. "Was that all it was? You were being picky?" She crouched down to where the cat sat, demurely lapping up the spill. Sienna straightened the bottle before more could be lost. "I think I spoiled you, starting you out on this stuff," she said idly. "And you do realize that it's actually not good for cats to drink too much milk, don't you? I can't give it to you exclusively, you know, 'cause if I do, you'll get sick."

Sienna spent a good long time just watching her new pet sleep. He really was a cutie.... And a character. Yup, she always got the ones full of personality. Every now and then, her hand would lightly stroke his head or side, a casual gesture of affection. After a while she got up, did some preliminary packing, talked to her staff about departure the next day.
But soon enough, the vet appointment was nigh. As her driver for Rome brought the rental car around (Sienna refused to travel by limo except at major events), she crept up on the slumbering feline. The carrier, a top-loader, stood on the table, open and ready. "All right. Ready... aim... gotcha!" She quickly scooped up the cat, trying to be gentle, and scrambled toward the carrier to attempt to pop him in to before he woke up enough to start fighting.

Pistol slowly opened his eyes before yawning in her arms. Damn this woman. he cursed. He simply went limp in the human's arms as he watched the hotel room disappear. Ooh, how much he already missed that place. Pistol wanted to struggle and refuse to go, like a child. unfortunately the cat was smart enough to know if he didn't go, he'll probably wont be able to go back home to where this human lived.

"Whew!" It was only when the top of the carrier closed that Sienna realized that he hadn't fought at all. "Wow, I'm good!" she said with a grin. Her face leveled with the side of the carrier, looking in through the slats. "Now you be a good boy!" she crooned. "We're just going to take a little ride in the car, and you'll be all checked out and ready to go home with me. And when we're all done, there's a nice big dish of tuna for you!"

Big bowl of tuna. Big bowl of Tuna. Big bowl of tuna. Big bowl of tuna, that was all that was going through Pistol's mind. If that was only words that would get him through this, than Pistol would repeat for hours. Pistol was a simple toy in the woman's arm while complaining quietly in his head. of course he never stopped reminding himself that he would get tuna delight after wards. Big bowl of tuna. Big bowl of Tuna. Big bowl of tuna. Big bowl of tuna.

"There's a good boy." Sienna tickled his side with her fingertips, between the slats of the carrier, and then carefully picked it up and bore it out of the hotel room. Outside, there was the same car from before parked. The driver held the carrier when Sienna got in and belted herself, then passed it over to her, where she settled it- and its furry passenger- on the seat alongside her. "Now you just be good on your car ride," she whispered to her kitty. Then the car moved, and they were on their way to the vet.

I am going to kill someone, Pistol growled of annoyance. If she kept saying that word "good" anymore times today he was seriously going to jump out the car. How much he hated that word, and a few other unmentionable words. Couldn't she just keep quiet for a bit so he wouldn't get distracted? He, of course, was only being this way because of this stupid vet appointment.

If Sienna knew what was going on in her new "pet's" mind, she would be very surprised indeed. As it was, she thought she detected some stewing from inside the carrier. "I know, you don't like riding in that thing," she murmured. "But it won't be for long." The car moved at a good clip, along with all the others traveling through Rome this day. "Not now, anyway." He'd have to spend a long time in it on the plane en route to the States. Hopefully Sienna could finagle for him to ride on the seat alongside hers, and not be put in cargo, as a lot of animals were on flights.
