Castoraralia laughed as the bartender poured her some more water.
"My dear Cas, you look more lovely then ever." He said with a grin.
"Careful Mancha, i'll cast a spell on you." Castoraralia replied with a sly smirk.

Frost steped into the bar, scaning the area this was the first time he was in this bar, it was know for its wild setting and hot girl's. They where right. Frost thought as he walked to the bar ordering a whisky.

Mancha looked at Frost. "Your new here."
Castoraralia looked at Frost.

Frost nodded to the bartender saying>" Yeah, I just moved in a few days ago." He smiled and looked at Cas giving her a warm smile saying." Hello." To her as well.

"What are you?" Castoraralia asked, her hand on her hip, a suspicious look in her eye.
Mancha looked at Frost.

Frost looked at her confused and said." I'm sorry Miss but what are you talking about.' Frost looked around the bar and then back to her and asked.' Do you have to be a member or somthing??"

Castoraralia looked at Mancha.
Mancha leaned forward on the counter. "You should leave human."
Castoraralia shook her head. "No, let him stay, he's bitten off more then he can chew. i'll watch him. I need a new toy. Ash drank my last one dry."

Frost listened to the bartender and as he said, leave human Frost couldent help but laugh at the man and said. "Oh wait let me guess your a werewolf and I bet she's a witch." Frost stoped laughing when Cas said her last oen had been drained, there was somthing in her voice that made him belive she was serious as he started to get up out of his seat.

"Umm... He's actually a witch too.. So your half right." Castoraralia said with a giggle. "You might as well stay. Your gonna die anyways."
Mancha sighed. "No one else but us know he knows about the night world, and he doesn't know much. He should be safe."
"No human can know about the knight world. It's law." Castoraralia replied with a snap. "Hey! it's Karaoke night tonight isn't it?"

Frost raised a eye brow and looked at them thinking they had lost there minds, as they talked about his death and then he looked at the girl and asked.' YOu said you needed a new toy what did you mean."

Mancha laughed.
"I don't have 'boyfriends' i have boy toys. but Ash, a vampire, got to my last one." Castoraralia shrugged. "It's a witch thing. Most of us have arranged marriages. So instead of having 'boyfriends' we have 'boy-toys'."

Boy-Toys?' Frost looked at her and thought for a moment and said>" So if I agree to be your toy, you wont kill me?' Frost asked as he saw a few flash's of magic.

"not only that, i can guarantee protection." Castoraralia replied. looking at the lights. "oh! what a rare treat!"
Mancha watched. "yea, some elders' kids are in town.
"oh really?" Castoraralia replied.

Frost looked to the bartender and said." Elders??" Frost wondered and then asked>" So what do I have to do, is this toy thing like a boyfriend or something else??" As a stray ball of fire came at Frost's face as he instinctly knocked it away but to his surprise there wasent a burn make.

Mancha laughed, pouring Castoraralia more water.
Castoraralia smiled. "You could say that. it's like an unofficial version." She watched the show. "Watch this, usually magic is done with an invisible sort. Like reaching out with your mind. But this is the traditional method, only a few small groups still do it."

Frost looked at her and then took the small pin that was on the counter and wrote both his number and his address and said standing up." If you need to contact me call me here or just stop by after 2pm ok.' Frost told her this as he turned around heading for the door.

Maybe I will, maybe I won't.. I don't have a reason to... Castoraralia said telepathically to Jack. And most of the Vampires here have seen you... and can smell that your a human. She emphasized the fact he was human.

[Jack_Frost]

Frost looked at her and shook his head and walked back over to her sitting back down as he downed his drink and looked back at her asking. "So what should I do next??" Refering to the vampires??

"Stay here. we can make a show of me staking my claim." Castoraralia raised her glass for a toast with Mancha.
Mancha lifted his glass and they both took a drink.
"I can only do so much to get attention for it." Castoraralia said with a yawn.

Frost looked back at the bartender and said>" She's staking her claim to me?' Frost was clearly lost as to what she was doing....

Mancha looked at Castoraralia and she laughed. A silent conversation seemed to go between them. Castoraralia gave a soft giggle and looked at Frost. "Yea, it's more like a ritual. don't worry about it though, nothing dangerous. It's quite stupid really."
Mancha raised an eyebrow. "You up for the challenge human?"
"If worst come to worst, You can drink from the cup of Lecha."
And if you so much as suggest it they would think the worst.... Mancha said. He didn't guard it that well. But it was ment for Castoraralia.

"The cup of Lecha?" Frost had listened to what they had both said and after a moment he nodded and said>" Well, the worst is I die anything else I suppose is better than dieing." He told her as he to stood up.

"It erases your memory and creates false ones." Mancha said coldly. "It's also forbidden."
"Nothing is forbidden for a daughter of Hellewise." Castoraralia replied.
"But Hellewise would never of suggested a thing."
"Back then there was no night world so she wouldn't of had to use the cup."
Mancha sighed.

Frost listened to them not liking the idea and said. 'So this cup destroyes the person hwo was and replaces them with a new one in a way>" Frost said refering to taking away ones memories, it was like crippling a person. 'Alright well what ever challenge you had in mind lets do it."

"The challenge is survive the Night World." Castoraralia replied with an innocent look.
Mancha sighed.
"Well, Survive this club. The vampires are thick as bugs on a bumper. isn't that what you humans say?"

Frost looked back at the bartender and said." She means thick as theives and what does she mean survive the club??" Frost asked still lost as he noticed a few vampires looking at him.

"Vampires can smell humans." Mancha said with a mischievous smile. "And human's who wander in generally end up dead. no human that i know of has ever escaped...."

[Jack_Frost]

Frost looked at her and then to the battender and then back to her and said. 'So I survive the club just to become your little play thing and you give no help what so ever am I right??"

Castoraralia thought. "More or less. I can try and charm any vampire who tries to pull anything. But you'll have to think. They too can mess with your head." She said tapping her temple.

Mancha nodded.

Frost looked at them both and said. 'SO all I have to do is get out or do I have to stay and last till morning?" Frost wondered as he could already feel a voice calling to him.

Castoraralia sighed. "It would help your chances if you stayed." She drank her water. "Could i get some human vodka Mancha? P.S.?"

Mancha rolled his eyes in mock annoyance. "Fine." He said in a kinda 'whatever' tone.

Frost nodded as he sat back down as he felt a hand reach out to touch him as he turned and grabed the hand before it could touch him as he looked at the rather pale girl who's hand he now held.

Castoraralia raised an eyebrow and watched.
Mancha just did what he does. He served drinks and what not.

The girl smiled taking her hand back as Frost let it go, she smiled and said. "Nothing little one I just wondered if you knew what kind of place you had come to>" The girl's voice was like a the coo of a dove as she went to touch his face again.

Frost went to block her hand saying. "I'm sorry but I dont belong to anyone and yes I do know what this place is... why else would I come to such a place if I could not defend myself." Frost was lying but he had always had a danger sense and it wasent going off at the moment.

Castoraralia laughed. She couldn't help it. She thought it was hilarious.

The girl smield walking away as Frost turned back to the table and tapped the money that he had placed there earlier and said. 'How about a few shots of Brandy on the rocks." Frost said as he looked back at Cas wonderin what was so funny..

Mancha sighed and poured the drinks.
Castoraralia calmed down a bit. "Wow.. that was some speech."

Frost looked at her still not ready to give up the farce knowing that this may be his one chance to get out as he looked at her and took the drink sipping it as he said. 'What speech, I just wasent in the mood to play games with a vampire." Frost told her wondering what she had found so funny...

"You seemed a little... full of it." Castoraralia replied sourly.

Frost looked at her and said. "Did it look like I had a choice, you said I had to survive tonight remember" Frost told her as he had finished his drink setting it down asking for another as he looked around at the crowd that now had there eye's on them both.

After the night crowd was gone Frost looked around glad as he got up wanting nothing more than to go home right now as he headed for the door.

Cas felt a pang of sadness as she watched him leave.
mancha sighed and yawned. "I think it's time to close up shop."
Cas nodded. "Yea, sure..."

Frost opened the door looking around it was a clear shot to his car as he got in and headed home wondering if that girl was going to call him or not.... With any luck she'll forget about me and I can pretend like tonight never happened. Frost sighed as he arrived home.

Cas helped Mancha clean up and put the chairs up. And she didn't even have to leave her seat. She yawned and stretched. Mentally saying bye to Mancha and leaving the club. She walked home in the direction of her apartment.

{Skipping to the following morning.}

As the alarm rang Frost sighed turning over and hitting the snooze button as he looked around shaking his head thinking. What a freaky dream..... did that really happen?

Cas was just stepping out of the shower at that time. She was always up early. She wrapped her body in a towel and started to dry her face off with a washcloth. After she was done drying off and getting dressed into her Outfit for the day. "Spirits of fire, grant my hands the power of your majestic might." Her hands started to warm and her hair started to dry.

Frost shook his head and made his way down stairs and to the parking lot getting in his car and heading to the small coffe shop that he worked at.

Cas sighed and fixed her hair in a simple ponytail. She left the bathroom and grabbed her wallet, shoving it into a pocket. She put her shoes on and exited her apartment, heading down to the private parking area for residents. About halfway down she remembered she forgot her keys.

Frost made his to the shop as he pulled in beside a small red bug and got out thinking. Great the boss is here today..... Frost went inside clocked in and did his best to forget about last night, but for some reason he ended up looking a little closer at his customers....

Cas headed back to her apartment. She grabbed her Keys which were on the counter and left again. She made her way to the private parking lot.

The day moved along as he smiled and served coffe as he ignored his boss as she did her usal thing comlpain, whine, ect, ect.

Cas Sighed as she drove to a coffee shop. Deciding it was her best chance at a hot chocolate, she parked and entered the store. She looked around and sighed. Deciding to skip the menu for now she waited in line till she could order.

Frost sighed as he turned to the custpmer that had just entered and greeeted them saying somthing along the lines of welcome to the cafe {I dont have a name for the palce yet.} but as he opened his eye's he saw who it was and everything that had happened last came flooding back to him.

"Well, hello to you too.." Cas muttered. "Can i get a hot chocolate to go?"

Frost shook his head and started to get her drink ready as he stoped askng ."Um, what size?' He asked as he sliped her a peice of paper that read Can I talk to you in five when I go on break? Frost waited for ehr answer to both questions as he looked back at his boss telling her he was taking a break since hi s help had come back and they had slowed down.

Sure Cas replied and looked up at the sizes. "hmm... I think a small will be fine."

Frost motioned for her to sit in the corner away from the other customers as he got her drink ready and went to where she was now sitting and set the drink down as he whispered>" I dont suppose last night was one big dream was it?" He asked refering to the vampires and well everything else.

Cas shook her head. "No, it wasn't. I bet you thought it was when you woke up huh?" She laughed, and took a drink of her hot chocolate. "mm... scrumptious!"

Frost shook his head and groaned>" Well, at least its over and we can go our seperate ways now." Frost told her as he stood up about to head back to the counter to get ready to go home.

Cas sighed, something inside her hurt. She wasn't sure what, and wasn't sure why. She finished her drink and went on her way.

Frost sighed but when she diednt answer him he gently took her hand as she passed him and whispered>" Am I right?' his voice held a hint of worry now, he knew that he was a normal human and dident stand a chance against the creatures of the night.

"Yea, if that's what you want." Cas said, trying not to look at him. She didn't want them to go there own separate ways.

Frost took her hand and pulled her close to him so he could whisper this next part." I meant am I going to have to worry about the vampires and what ever else was in there since I'm not you...well whatever it was I was supposed to be?' He asked.

"Yea... You will... More then likely..." Cas said with a sad sigh. "Since you know about us, you'll most likely be killed." Not that i care... She thought, and it pained her to, too..

Razz looked at her his face not showing anything as he let her hand go and said." Sorry to have bothered you then miss>" he told her this as his tone was flat no sadness or happiness that had been there before.

((it's an original, it's called untitled cause i can't really think of anything to call it.. ^.^ But i wrote it awhile ago. That's the first bit, the only part i could memorize. Rereading your question i realize i probably misunderstood you.. ^.^' it's just how i've been feeling lately.. and i remembered that from a while ago and decided to put it in my signature.))

Cas sighed and looked at him. "Look," she said under her breath, so only he could hear her. "I can see what i can do for your protection, if you want i can wipe your memory. Or i can look into some protection thing. If you want?"

Razz looked at her and shook his head and said. 'No, you did enough last night and I dont want to have my memory erased either.' He forced as he said. 'I'm sure everything will work it self out>" He told her letting her hand go as he walked away to gather his things.

But then a little voice in the back of her head popped in and decided to add it's two cents. because you love him? It offered. Hells bells no, impossible. inconceivable.

Razz was finished getting his things as he headed out the door waving to the others before leaving and heading to his car taking a deep breath as he closed his eye's and tried to feel if anything was out there, he dident know how he did this but he always seemed to know when danger was close by.
