It is dark out and a young girl sits at the edge of the forest. She sighs out loud and her eyes start to close. She then hears a voice behind her.
“if you fall asleep master will mad” her eyes shoot open and she jumps to her feet.
“I’m awake!” she folds his arms and says…
“master has been in a bad mood lately… if he finds you slacking you will regret it…”
“yea yea… I know.. But I have been here for almost two days with out sleep. I am very tired.”
“then bring it up with him. But anything is better than him finding out by himself. I wont but others will tell him if you fall asleep” she sighs and says…
“I don’t get it… why do we even have to do this?”
“to make sure no one inters his territory. Like is a Lixie or a where wolf should decide to come here there will be US to stop him” she says and lays back in the tree.
“yes… I know”
“and we are MADE to me able to survive a while with no food or water… and to be able to go about three days with out sleeping”
“yea… but we should not have to just barley survive our limits”
“then TELL him”
“eh”
“fine… I don’t care myself but its time for me to go. You’d better not go to sleep.”
“yea….” he stands up strait and disappears into the darkness. She sighs and stays there the rest of the night. The next day she was sleeping at her house when one of her kind appears in her room.
“Tory… Master wishes to see you” that was never good. She sits up and says…
“ok… whe-”
“now” she stands up and feels the fear of being in trouble with him. She stands and says…
“o…k” the young man touches her shoulder and then both end up in his home. He home is not over done. It looks like any ones ellses home just in the middle of the woods. He is playing the piano softly. He says with out looking over at him.
“Alex… leave” he bows and says…
“yes master” he then turns and leave with out giving Tory a secant look. The master keeps playing the piano. He says softly looking at the kys…
“do you know why you are her Tory?”
“no” the master did not have relationships with any one to often but he always remembered names, even when not told.
“you are here because I was told you fell asleep last night on duty.”
“that’s not true!” his cresents ice blue eyes look at her with a glare. she takes a step back and he sits up.
“you denie it?” she looks at her feet
“y… yes master”
“fine…” he snaps his fingers and a younger girl walks in. she walks to the side or Tory and says…
“yes master?”
“tory dinies it… is what you told me true?” tory looks at the girl. She knows this girl is lying. But why? Why would something that that have to happen to Tory? She smiles and says to him.
“she is lying”
“is that so. You can not be both telling the truth… and Tory will be the one to disbaleave..” the girl says to him.
“don’t blame yourself master.. She is just a bad person…”
“ it is not finished… I will find out for myself which one is lying. And the one who is lying to me.. Will be horrible punished…” he looks at both of them with those eyes. He then says…
“did you know.. I can read souls?” the girls face goes pail. She feels like she can throw up. He looks at Tory, then the other. He then says softly…
“I do not think kindly to a lier… Tory…” her heart sinks…
“y…yes?”
“leave… you are free to go…” her eyes widen. He saw the other one was lying. He SAW it. Tory looks down and says quietly…
“yes… master” she bows and leave’s with out looking back at him. While out side she hears the girl…
“IM SORRY MASTER!!! PLEASE!” Tory stops and looks at the house. She was told to leave but, she does not want to. She shuts her eyes tightly and decides. She turns and slams open the door yelling…
“wait!” the girl in on the ground and the Master had a whip of light. The most painful whip for a black blood. He glares at Tory…
“I told you to leave” she bows.
“I know! Im sorry! b…but”
“SAY IT!” she closes her eyes and yells..
“please don’t hurt that girl! I understand she lied but.. She is so young! She dose not understand… please forgive her master!” he does not say anything for a long time. He then says…
“stand tory” Tory stand up straight and he says.
“why does it matter what I do to her? She was trying to get you in trouble. Why should you care?” Tory look at her feet.
“master… she.. Is… only… a child”
“you don’t know do you? You don’t know why you don’t want her to get hurt” Tory does not answer. He then says…
“very will Tory… I shall grant you wish… this child with not be punished like this but by having your duty plus her for three weeks”
“b…but master?...what will happen to my duties?”
“you are relived of them until the three weeks are over” Tory smiles and bows her upper body.
“thank you master”
“enough of this.. Be gone you two… oh and Stacey” the girl looks up at him afraid..
“I don’t want to ever see you again unless you are sumand.” she stands up and walks back a little.
“yes… master”
“good now leave” we both bow and walk out. Stacey turns to Tory and says…
“I still don’t like you” Tory look down…
“that’s fine.” neither of them know that the master can here them from inside his house. They both leave for that night. Tory walks to her house with out looking up once. The hole time she kept her eyes on her feet. When she got home she did not even bother to get into her pajamas. She just slid into her bed and fell asleep with in moments.
