Lucky blew out another smoke as he arrived to the funeral. It was a dark day in mafia history. Another Don of another family was taken out about a week ago. Lucky and the whole Garrdon family were invited to pay their respects to such a high respected man. Though death was probably one of the few things that occurred frequently in this kind of business, but it still hadn't scared away anyone. Death was your neighbor and sometimes you had to pay your respect to those who died and try not to get angry at death. Lucky of course had been to funerals all his life, all 200 years of it. Lucky was use to death, and really he didn't have to change. He was required to dress in a black suit every day so really he didn't have to buy something new for this funeral.

Rosetta wore a tight black dress and a small headband that let off a vial that covered her face. Rosetta wasn't big on showing her face. When she was at least 98 years old she received a scar on her right eye. Though many don't know the history about it, Rosetta was extremely self-conscious about the mark. It reminded her about a dark day in her past something she rather not relive. Rosetta wasn't even big on even stepping outside of her mansion without a vial that covered her face. it had been many many long years before someone even saw her face, but Rosetta always went to events like these. To pay respects to a family friend was a large concern for her.

Veronica stood in the crowd, unseen and unnoticed. She was good at blending in, hiding out, not making a scene. Normally upbeat and perky, she was extremely upset. She always was at funerals. Even though she had been to hundreds over the last 210years, it still brought a tear to her eye when she saw the famliy and friends of the dead. But she herself did not fear death. IT would never reach her, never capture her, and never look her in the eye and say, "You're mine." So she had no fears about the actual experience of dieing. But watching others suffer and struggle, just to have their souls taken away, upset her.

Zachery gazed up at the sky. The feeling of death and mourning had passed him up. He didn't care about this person. Although he was there to pay his respects, his thoughts weren't all that respectful. Looking back at the cascet, he sighed, knowing he should be a little more...sad about a death. But nothing fazed him anymore. Killing was a part of his job. Death was his partner. But he was not deaths only companion. Some one else had mearly done this job for him, with death by his side. All of this was a job that had to be done in the epic role of life. Why should he care? Atleast, this is how he saw it.

Lucky sat in his place the moment everyone was called into the Church. It was large and grand and something usual for a high priced man in the mafia. The place was packed. People in the back were even standing up for the fact that there wasn't enough seats to go around. Most of the women sat with children on their laps or just surrounding them. Most men stood seeing how it was their job. "Thank you," he muttered being handed a rose to place into the open casket. "Hm," he muttered sniffing such a delicate thing.

"A rose...?" The questioned rolled off her tongue slowly and quietly. She sat down staring at such beauty to the extend that she realized she was crushing the stem with her bare hand. Few spots of blood began to pop out from random places in her hand from the thick thorns. "I'm sorry," she quietly apologized to the flower in her hands. Rosetta watched carefully to see her wounds heal in a matter of seconds. "Hm," she sighed softly before leaning back in her chair.

Veronica sat in a down in the middle of the pew on the fourth row. When handed a rose, she smelled it and breathed in its loveliness. How she adored roses. So romantic,so lovely. It seemed oddly out of place for a funeral. Frankly, normally she got white roses for funerals, and that was perfectly fine. But a red rose was simply out of place to her. She grabbed a second one, so she could keep it for her own usage.

Zachary stood in the back of the church, seeing as how the seats were packed. Upon receiving the rose, he folded his hands around it and prayed for such a high ranking member of the mafia to go to heaven. Although, he had his doubts on any member of a mafia group ever strolling past those golden gates in the sky. He uncurled his hands, tiny specks of blood scattering his hand from the horns. He payed no mind to them, and looked upward to the beautifully painted sealing.

The moment the Pastor arrived was when everyone decided to stand up and pay their respects. That same time was the second Lucky and Rosette felt the presence of other immortals with them. It was honestly a sensation that was left dormant for many long years. There were probably a few immortals nowadays but it was a rare phenomenon for so many as four immortals to be altogether in the same room. It was an immediate effect of nausea for Rosetta and the effect of a chest pain for Lucky himself.

"The hell...," Lucky cursed rubbing his chest casually.

"...hm."

Veronica stood up when the preacher arrived, and sait back down, feeling slightly dizzy. "What tha...." She whispered to her self, putting her hand on her head.

Zachary gripped his hand into a fist. Something hurt. Bad. As if clenching his fists together would make it better, he held them even tighter. He had this feeling only a few times before. He scanend the room, looking for some one who would be like him....

Lucky groaned feeling his chest tighten up a bit. He started to look around, hoping to find those people who were exactly just like him. Lucky really didn’t have to do anything more than just looked over at Rosette. She was having more problems than anyone.

Rosette was extremely weak. Her body wasn’t functioning like the way it was a very long time ago. So, Rosette felt ill, too ill to sit comfortably. She knew she just blew the cover off because of her rush to the bathroom. Rosette covered her mouth, and jumped over the people and down the halls. Where is the bathroom, she asked herself.

Veronica snapped her neck in the direction of the dizziness. "That girl." she excused herself, walking on the side isles instead of the middle one. Walking hastily, but quietly, as to not lose sight of the "young woman." she glared at her for a couple of seconds, then whispered, holding back the urge to sound menacing, "Miss. It is through that little hallway. The first door on the left."

Zachary looked towards the commotion. Why is she making so much noise? he asked himself, knowing for sure this was not the place to act out in such a manner. Not only was it a funeral, but also a place with at least three other like her. And he knew from experience that most "eternals" ,as they had been known as to the local folklore, were not to fond of others that arrived from the same species. He shook his head, longing for the funeral to be over with so he could get out of here.

Rosetta rushed towards the directions. She threw-up all that was left in her stomach. Quickly, the color of tan was back to her skin and she felt much better. She stood up and exited the bathroom stall. She headed towards the bathroom sink to wash her face and her mouth. after doing so, she checked her appearance. Everything was fit together, nothing was changed through her appearance. "Dear god," she sighed wiping her hands with a towel.

Lucky sighed seeing the secreative Rosetta from the Moretti family rush out of the room. His eyes went back to the man talking in the front. He finally singled one of his own out. Great, he thought. Lucky checked his gold watch begging for something to make this boring and horrible funeral to end.

Zachary scanned the room, his white hair casually resting in a swooped form, just ever so slightly above his eyes. Brushing it out of the way, he knew he had singled out one. But only one. There were three more to go, and he knew they were all within the same building. The fact that such a massive amount of them were there all at once shocked him, and he knew it was something rather rare. That triggered a natural reaction- a simple chuckle. He used the word massive in his own thoughts. Seeing as there were only four all together, and he was calling that a large number, he knew that their species was soon dwindling.

Veronica slowly made her way to the bathroom, checking in on the stranger's health. "Are you alright?" She whispered, knowing that to those who's attention had already been brought to the back, they would notice any noise at all and get suspicious or worrisome. She did not want suspicion. "You didn't have to make such a ruckus you know. Everyone was staring at you, when they should be looking at the pastor, and paying their respects to the deceased." She added in, looking back out of the hall and to the congregation. A few were looking her way, but only a few.

LEESA !

Lucky heard it. That chuckle that ringed through his ear. It was uncomfortable but somewhat familiar to him. He twisted his head to the direction of the chuckle. Singling out only a couple of males seated together, probably on accident. He turned back to the pastor. He realized there was one so close to him, so it was pretty fair to say he had to be more careful.

“You followed me to call me rude?” Rosetta nodded. She looked over at the woman taking her in. “You should be more careful,” she said softly. Rosetta wasn’t an idiot, and most people in a mafia funeral did not follow people who flee. They rather let themselves sit there quietly and disappear like they weren’t even here. “Why are you here Miss Veronica? An actress like yourself, plus following me…”

Zachary looked back upward, and noticed that one or two were looking at him as if he were insane. Laughing at a funeral was simply not a laughing matter. He straightened his face, and turned back towards the service, determined to pay attention until all was over. The itch at the back of his neck was killing him; a sign of misfortune no doubt. He brushed it off, forcing his eyes not to wonder the crowd in search of the others.

Veronica let out a soft chuckle. "Curiosity killed the cat, Mrs. Rosetta" She stated softly, nodding back, "But seeing as how I am a different breed of cat, my death will have nothing to do with how curious I am of others well-being. Besides, is it too terrible to feel a little..let us call it sympathy, for one who seems so ill? And though it be a mafia man's funeral, I have no concern for myself, just those around me. You could say, I am unlike the others in consciousness alone." She added in, feeling herself smirk oh-so slightly. For some odd reason, this seemed to be enjoyable to her.

Rosetta stared at her before gigling softly. "You gave your self out way to easily," Rosetta nodded. "Like you say, you're a different bred of cat. So I shouldn't question your statements," she smiled warmly. She walked past the woman that she felt such stingling pressure from. Rosetta had easy time figuring out what this woman was. "We should head back- before people start questioning"

"I felt no need hiding anything, deary. Obviously, I know who you yourself are. No need to hide something from anyone, if you ask me. I would say life is to short for secrets, but in my case that is a horrible lie." Veronica said smirking, brushing hair back behind her ear. Nodding, she stepped out of the door frame to let Rosetta go first. "Be my guest, go right ahead."

Rosetta smiled heading back towards the ceremony. All of her men stared up at her but she quickly dismissed them with her hand wave. She looked over at Veronica, “It was nice meeting you Miss Veronica,” she said softly. She had no idea whether or not to invite the woman out. It would be stupid to have two immortals so close together, but truthfully it wasn’t like anyone else knew. Maybe, just maybe, they will see more of each other.

Nodding, Veronica walked back to her seat. Before doing so she replied politely, "As was a pleasure meeting you, Miss Rosetta." Walking back, ignoring the few stares that dared stray away from the service, she took her seat on the edge of the isle, closest to the wall. Time to focus on what is at hand, she thought to herself, letting her gaze once again return to the preacher.

The funeral ended with a beautiful service and a choir singing with all their might. Sure people were sent up to say good things about a murder, but everyone kept to themselves. Typical behavior with this kind of crowd. The ceremony left a few people to tears while others placed their sunglasses on and headed out to their cars. Well, not most people.

Lucky took his time singling out those who were possible candidates as immortals. It was rare occasion, and he wanted to meet the people who had the power to kill him. Last thing Lucky wanted was to have a sneak attack by another immortal who figured out his secret.

12-25-2009, 11:33 PM
Zachary took his time walking through the crowd, patting the backs gingerly to those who were still upset and tearing up. Walking out into the sunlight, he put on his dark glasses, popping against his white hair. He looked up occasionally, feeling that presence of another, but not scanning the crowd in case it drew suspicion.

Veronica walked outside the funeral calmly, stepping to the side to sit on a bench in front of the church. Letting her eyes scan the crowd, she tried to search the crowd of those who were supposed to only exist in fantasy. She knew they were there, and not only kept her senses alert for those she did not know, but for Rosetta.

LEESA !
12-25-2009, 11:42 PM
Rosetta wasn't going with the crowd. She had to pay her respects personally to the man she knew. He had died and it was a large impact in her life. With everyone leaving, she would feel more comfortable talking to a dead man. Rosetta only kept her seat until most of the people were gone from the front. She picked her pace up reaching the stage and open casket. She felt no emotions at the moment which was good; she didn't want to cry. She simply stared down at the lifeless body.

<3

Lucky glanced about before his eyes arriving at Rosetta. She had given herself out like a bullet firing at the President. He found himself traveling to the side of the crowds and stayed there in the shadows.

Walking past the little bench Veronica was on, Zachary immediately felt that tingling sensation of an immortal. He walked past, however, looking down at the ground. As planned, his glasses fell of, so he had the excuse to walk back and pick them up, glancing up at her while doing so. Was this her? On of the ones? It had to have been.

Veronica sat on the bench, legs crossed and arms folded over her chest. Her century old heart skipped a beat, and she looked up at the man passing by. As he dropped his glasses, she was tempted to pick them up for him. But she remained seated, looking down at the grass once more. Her skin crawled, and she could feel the curious gaze of him upon her. Without looking up, she whispered, "May i help you, sir?"

LEESA !
12-26-2009, 04:42 AM
Lucky watched the last of the people crawl out of the large church. He lit a cigarette and watched the only three people left in this large church. “Hm,” he muttered. He came from behind the shadows and ended up leaning against a large stone pillar. The pressure was still high with all these three people.

<3

Rosetta smiled picking a flower from a bouquet. She prayed softly before placing the red rose on the decease. She turned over to be shocked to see three strangers sitting there. Now they weren’t all strangers. Veronica was a famous actress, Mr. Delphi was someone her father hired before, and Mr. Garrdon had worked for her father before. “Uh-”

Kovue
12-29-2009, 04:23 AM
Zachary smiled his little devious smile, saying calmly, "Not at all, Miss Veronica. Just an honor to meet such an esteemed actress like yourself." Standing up, he looked towards the front of the church, meeting the gaze of yet another immortal. He recalled being hired by her father, but he really never payed much attention to the girl. Just the job and the money. Tilting his head ever so slightly to the side, he was unsure what to say. Nothing terribly witty came to his mind, as he had hoped, so he kept his mouth shut and looked back at Veronica.

Veronica sighed, knowing that this man simply was not what he seemed. She played along, however, for her own safety. "Oh, well...thank you sir." She said quietly, looking up at Rosetta who seemed to be gazing at three people. Three. Looking across the way, she lied her eyes upon who she presumed to be the fourth of their kind. She shivered, feeling goose bumps go up her back. Having so many in one room still bothered her.

LEESA !
12-29-2009, 04:31 AM
Lucky blew out the smock staring at the backs of the the actress and the hitman, while the confused mafia heiress was facing him. He was far from the group, but was able to hear whatever they were saying. He wasn't that far, just in a safe-distance. He let the cig hang from his mouth and let his hands dig through his pockets. What a strange feeling.

<3

Rosetta was the first to speak, like always, "Wow," she gave a nervous chuckle. "Who knew someone's death brought us together," she muttered. It had been ages since the last time she had seen the immortals. She didn't recognized these guys probably because there was so many back then. They were probably in the crowd somewhere, and Rosetta failed to pay attention to them. Now, they were together.

Kovue
12-29-2009, 04:40 AM
Zachary shook his head, closing his eyes and smirking. "Death is a funny thing. Too bad dying is something I wouldn't know about." He murmured to himself, looking back up with his deep brown eyes. Scanning the room, he noticed that everyone had left but the three of them. For the time being, this could be seen as a good thing.

Veronica sat speechless. She felt no threat with Rosetta, simply because she was a female. Knowing that that was a horrible understatement, and that females could do just as much damage as males, she tried to convince herself that they were all dangerous. But she couldn't help but only feel a little intimidated as the ones she knew to be mafia hit-men were in the room. Not to mention, they were immortal hitmen, making things all the more interesting. She shivered once more, letting her gaze rest on Zachary as he spoke.

LEESA !
12-29-2009, 04:45 AM
Lucky flicked the smoke and crushed it with his foot. "of course we do," he commented on Zachary. "We just forgot what it was," he shrugged. They all had seen death, they all felt death, but they all couldn't die. Lucky had been shot, stabbed, ripped apart, poisoned, etc. Just he was there at death, but he came back too quickly to touch death's hand. Lucky knew death, but feeling of dying was something familiar to him that he found it something worthless.

<3

Rosetta stepped down from the stage and glanced at all three of them. "Try giving death, it's respect Mister Zachary," she commented with a small smile.

Kovue
12-29-2009, 04:58 AM
"Why should I give Death respect? I can respect those who are dead, but most certainly not Death itself. If it never dares cross my path, or if it toys with me, allowing me to live, when I so longed to die. No, Death shall get no respect from me at all." Zachary stated dryly to the both of them. He would never know the feeling of dying, nor what it is like to run at Death head on, and have the outcome be satisfactory in anyway. He could see it, feel it, but never let it fully grasp him and take him away.

Lillia looked back and forth between the three, finding that this discussion was pointless. They all already knew that dying was something that could never be accomplished by an immortal, yet she found that, once in a blue moon, if she were to cross paths with another, this was all they gripe about. "Death and dieing are simply not the same thing, Mr. Zachary. I would have thought one of your stature should know that. It is true, we cannot die. But death is something we see, we feel, we want. They, in some means, are alike. However, I see them as two different persona's all together." She said finally, standing up to let her now asleep legs wake up. She smiled at all three of them lightly. "But I find it a subject that does not need to be discussed, seeing as how all of this know what we are speaking about already."

LEESA !
12-29-2009, 09:06 AM
Rosetta blinked holding up a finger, "But we can die," she corrected them. "Remember? All we have to do is get an immortal place their right hand on our forehead and chant 'i'm hungry' in their head," she shrugged. She walked over to her bag and grasped it. "Unlike many of you, I still fear death," she smiled softly. "Besides, Miss Veronica is right," she shook her head. "Let's not discuss a topic we all debate about." she shrugged.

<3

Lucky watched them before speaking, "I have a feeling we will be seeing more of each other," he muttered with a sigh. Last thing he wanted was trouble to knock on his door. He knew someone was bind to find out that all of them were together, and that was trouble. Next thing he knew is more immortals- the bad kind, will start hunting them down.

Kovue
12-29-2009, 11:59 PM
Zachary shrugged, letting himself ease up, and allow the tension to escape from his muscles. He opened his mouth to speak, but found that he had no words to say. Looking down at the ground, he finally shared, "Agreed. We shouldn't discuss such a debatable topic." he knew he had more to say on the subject, but he left it at that, acknowledging the fact that no one wished to speak on the matter any longer.

Veronica sighed, unsure what to say at the moment. Normally some one who was rather talkative, she found herself speechless, and she simply could not accumulate another topic to talk about. "I'm afraid I agree with you, Mr. Garrdon. Seeing more of the three of us is inevitable." She said finally, looking over in Luck's direction with a slight frown sewn onto her lips. "Whether that would be good or bad is up to you, however."

Rosetta smiled, "Anyone want to visit a bar?" she asked. "I think a drink is going to be good for us," she offered with a tight smile. She turned to Veronica, "Come on?" she begged a little. Least they were together, that's all she cared for. She didn't mind them, because her family already hired the two men constantly, and she was a large fan of the other female. Smiling again she waited for an answer.

<3

Lucky stared at the three. "Why not," he sighed with a shrug. People wouldn't really get surprised that these people will be hanging out. Mafia connected people stuck close together, and in a city infested with Mafia, they wouldn't stick out so much in public.

Kovue
12-30-2009, 03:55 AM
Zachary shrugged as well, saying "Sure, I could go for a drink." Walking into a bar, or really just walking out in public, together like this wouldn't make them stick out like a soar thum like one would think. Not only did mafia stick together, but so did the women who hired them. So really, this would be a perfectly normal scene.

Veronica thought about, then smiled and said, "Sure. Are we driving? Or walking?" She hoped they were walking. If they were driving, at least ONE of them would have to stay sober. And that is simply no fun at all.

LEESA !
12-30-2009, 04:12 AM
Rosetta silently cheered inside her mind. Company was always good to have, besides, it was better than driving in silence with her men. "Walk," she lead the way towards the door. "There is quiet bar down the street," she informed them. She allowed Lucky to he a gentlemen and hold the door for the whole group. She was glad, because within only matter of seconds she made some new friends.

Lucky wasn't so thrilled, but hey, it was better than nothing. He had no intention to get too close to these guys, because Mob med had skeletons in their closet they rather not share.

Kovue
12-30-2009, 04:23 AM
Zachary walked through the door, knowing that getting close to these people was probably dangerous, but for the time being, he would allow himself to have a semi-enjoyable time. "Good, I prefer walking."

Veronica smiled, walking out the door and nodding to Lucky as if to say, "thank you" for holding the door open. "Agreed. Alright, you lead the way Miss Rosetta. i do believe that you are the only one who knows where this bar is. She said cheerily, picking her speed up oh so slightly to walk next to her.

LEESA !
12-30-2009, 04:48 AM
Rosetta nodded with a small smile. the streets were clear again since all those criminals were fleading towards their homes. The sun was preforming it's disappearing act into the clouds. She glanced voer at it finding it the most beautiful thing in the world. She had seen many sunsets and sunrises, but they just got more beautiful to her. "It's down here," she pointed down a fleet of stairs.

The place was on a corner under a large building. It was the type of bar that scum usually spend their night here. It reaked of smoke and booze, but the place was alive with plenty of happy drunks. Rosetta was the one to hold the door open for them. "Evening Russ," she waved to the heavy bartendor. She motioned them to go take a booth in a back so they wouldn't be too bothered by everyone.

Kovue
12-30-2009, 04:52 AM
Walking into the bar, Zachary took a seat in the booth next to Rosetta. "Now doesn't this look like a lovely place for dirty drunks?" He asked in a chuckle, putting his head on his head and sighing.

Veronica walked in, breathing through her mouth from time to time, simply because she loathed the smell of smoke. "I must say, I really don't think I have ever been here before."

LEESA !
12-30-2009, 05:03 AM
Rosetta chuckled, "It's a nice place, "she admitted. "But, they could open a window or two," she shrugged leaning against her seat. She was comfy and somehow safe in this place. It her secret garden. It was her wonderland. "Besides, there is no better place than this for us."

Lucky sat down next to the famous actress and across from the hitman. He was welcomed by the sweet smell of cancer sticks. He had the urge to pull one out and join the crowd, but the look on the Actress's face told him other wise. He motioned a waitress to come to the table to take drink orders. "I'll have a scotch on rocks"

Kovue

Zachary smiled at the waitress, though it was a very fake smile, and said "I'll have the same as him." Looking back towards Rosetta, he said, "I guess. I could think of better places, but this is fine for now."

Veronica smiled at him, seeing that he wanted to smoke, but didn't because she was there. "Thanks." She said quietly. Looking towards the waitress, she shook her head slightly. She wasn't much of a drinker herself, to be honest. Never had been, never will be. "I'm good. Nothing for me."

Rosetta glanced over at Zachary before chuckling to herself, "It's close, don't complain, "she said pointing at him. Rosetta then turned to the waitress, "Orange Vodka," she smiled ordering her drink. Rosetta was a drunk, it was in her blood to drink like a mad man.

Lucky nodded, "No problem." he said quietly. He watched the waitress coming back with all the drinks and passed them along. He raised his glass as a thanks to the waitress before drinking his own drink. Some strong azz stuff, he thought as he felt his throat burn.

Zachary sighed, holding the palms of his hands up submissively. "Okay, okay" He said in a small smile. Taking his glass, he gulped it down, savoring the slight tingling and burning sensation you get when drinking vodka. "Hmm...Should have gotten Cranberry Vodka. A pansy drink, but always my favorite." He stated, looking over at the actress and asking, "Why no drink for you?"

Veronica smiled as the three drank away, with her just sitting there and watching. "Oh, I never have liked drinking. When I drink, I get drunk really fast. And it's not like I could live down the embarrassment of what I do when I am drunk." She admitted, giggling lightly. "But I haven't had anything in a while, and I agree, Cranberry and Vodka make a good, subtly combination. When she comes back, I might get me one." She said, shrugging lightly with a smile on her face.

Rosetta listened to the two and smiled while sipping on her orange juice filled with vodka. It was a strong drink, not as tough as scotch but it was enough for someone like Rosetta. Unlike Veronica, Rosetta could hold down her drink. Like her family members, alcohol had zero affect on her so instantly. So drinking was a nice pass time for her. "How about some soda Miss Veronica?" she asked.

Lucky watched them talk. He summed them up within a few words. Rosetta was a pretty anti-social heiress with a bounty on her head if she dead; Veronica was a beautiful actress who has odd connects within the 'family' business; Zachary was a famous hit man who was someone you should defiantly not piss off. "I'm hungry," he commented.

Zachary nodded, looking at the heiress and smiling lightly. She was a true beauty, and an immortal at that, making her all the more lovely. Really, he found all people at the table enjoyable, simply because they were ones like himself. He looked over the three, knowing already about the two women, but still trying to figure out a few things about this Mr. Lucky. A mafia man that is not one to mess with, no doubt. But then again, he was sure there were some things about all four of them that best be kept unknown to the other three.

Veronica smiled, nodding at Rosetta. "That would probably be the best thing for me," She admitted, deciding to order coke with a little rum in it when the waitress came back. She didn't like drinking any alcohol straight forward, but coke and rum was fine. Glancing over at the mafia man next to her, she nodded in agreement. "As am I. We should eat soon."

Rosetta nodded, "Ooh, they have great food here," she nodded, "Or we can just go next door to the Chinese restaurant," she shrugged. "How about I treat you all to dinner? I mean, it's the least I can do since I've already have your company," she nodded chugging down the rest of the tall drink. It burned her throat for a few seconds, but, ooh did it taste good! She pressed the cup onto the table as she adjusted to her seat once again.

"We've sat down already, no use of getting up once again," Lucky commented. "Dinner here, will be fine- for me," he shrugged placing his input into the conversation. he was hungry and whether it was eating at this place or some five star restaurant, it made no matter to him. Food was food, and actually he had no need for it, he couldn't actually starve to death can he? "Shall I get menus for all of us?" he asked.

"Agreed. We should just eat here. Bar food is fine with me, too." Veronica added in, feeling her stomach growl slightly at her. She smiled, looking at Zachary. "Mr. Zachary, would it be fine with you?"

Zachary shrugged, folding his arms over his stomach and leaning back. "Food is food. And hunger is hunger. So let's eat here."

Rosetta glanced at the hitman before chuckling softly, "So logical," she had to comment.

Lucky stood from his seat and walked across the bar to the stack of menus. Seeing how the waitress was busy, he had no problem fetching the floppy pieces of paper. He arrived back to the table with a menu for each of the following members. Dinner out was something unusual for someone who ate alone like Mister Lucky. He wasn't very social, because he never thought much about company. How can he get close to someone that will just die sooner or later? It was a waste of time really, which probably explain all of Lucky's ill-manners when it came to company.

Rosetta thanked the man before reading her menu. What to get? There wasn't much of a menu due to the fact that all there was like one salad and ton of meat packed meals. But Rosetta loved food, and being lady-like was not her business when it came down to food. She didn't even dare reach the description of the salad because she was focusing on the burgers.

Taking the menu and thanking Lucky, Veronica scanned the menu. What to eat, what to eat....She looked up and decided that these people probably wouldn't mind if she didn't get something so...delicate. She watched her wait, but it was a bar after all, so she went right to the seafood section. The fried seafood section, to be precise. She would have fried shrimp. Not shrimp salad, however. Just a plate of fried shrimp and fries. How yummy, she thought to herself.

Zachary nodded his head in gratitude to lucky, letting his eyes wonder until something yummy caught his eye. Something with meat, he supposed would do him good. "excuse me, Rosetta. What is the best hamburger they have here? He inquired, not being able to decide whether or not he wanted a burger bacon of some sort on it. He hadn't realized it, but he was hungrier than he had expected.[/I]

"The bacon cheeseburger is one you should stay away from," Rosetta warned. "I don't really trust their bacon here," she spoke hush hush. "But I admit the blue cheese burger here is to die for!" she announced. Rosetta nodded, "Maybe I'll get there," she muttered to herself before checking the menu again. Or should the lady go with the steak? Tough choices.

---------

"Steak." Lucky said plainly. Sure, such a manly food for a 'manly' man. Truthfully Lucky wasn't really much of a eater. Sea food he hated, cheeseburgers were to filling sometimes, but steak. The red meat was something he could devour in seconds. Oddly true. Lucky would probably have to ask for a bake potato on the side, but he could never really finish the whole plate of food that came with a steak.

"I'll just have some fried shrimp and fries. I'm not a big eater, normally. But if I get hungry, I'll get myself something else." Veronica said in a smile, placing down the menu and putting her hands in her lap. She was such a pansy compared to these people. Sighing, she realized that she should probably toughen up soon.

"Steak does sound good, but I'm just going to have a cheeseburger and some fries." He said, knowing full well that he wanted a steak. But Zachary cooked his own steaks, because no one seemed to season it the way he liked it. So he wouldn't eat any steak other than his own. End of discussion.
