The Prince and I..

In another world, filled with goals, and demons, and sprites, there lived a small kingdom of humans. This kingdom though had an evil prince and an even more even lord who killed any one who was though to go against them. There was a teacher though who taught then young prince many, many things, and despite his argents and rudeness this young prince came to respect her. But the woman also had a daughter who lived with her out side the palace not once meeting the prince or lord but hearing of there horrible will from her mother. Now the sun was not even but simple was cold and had very little to no patience for any kind of foolishness or anything close to it or anything that might even kind of be seen as it. It would surprise any one how easily he got mad or and got some one in trouble. Now he kept himself calm but he did tend to yell at least once a day at some one.

Well one day the teacher was brought in falsie accused for betraying her lord to the elves. Her daughter was meant to come to the trial and when she came she watched as her mother became closer and closer to death. But then the young prince of 18 arrived and kept her from being killed, but she would have to part with the most meaningful thing to her, and like that her Daughter Alure became a slave in the kings home. What will happen? will her soft heart and qu9it voice soffin the young prince in time?... please help me know

Winter stands quietly at the main hall like she was told too. Being pulled from her mother was the most horrible thing to have ever happened to her but at least it was that and not her mother death. She could not only see her once a month at the very most and she might not even see her at all. For now Winter stands awaiting the prince too talk with her about her knew role as a slave. She kept her face calm even though her heart was pounding with fear and sadness and anger.

Erick walked into the main hall, a bit irritated. He was not in the mood for talking to people. But nonetheless he had to tell that Winter girl about what she had to do as a slave, which seemed pretty obvious in his mind. He skulked over to her. "Heres the basic ground rules. And listen closely so you dont mess it up. Do. What. I. Say. Nothing less, nothing more. Don't speak unless spoken to. And don't annoy me. Got it?" He said harshly.

He was just how her mother said he would be. She does her best to keep her breathing calm showing no fear or any kind of emotion...

"ok.." she says softly and simple keeping her head down not daring to look up at his eyes. She did not want to.

"Good," He said before turning around and walking away. He made a small motion with his hand signaling for her to follow him.

She follows after him quietly making no sound as she walked, her eyes scanning everything in the castle as they walked. She had never been in it before and it was simple beautiful.

He stopped before a door. "This is your room," he said blandly and opened the door. The room was an okay size with a bed, small dresser, and a mirror. It was very plain.

She walks to his side and looks inside. It was much better than a dungeon like she thought it would be...

"..ok.." she says softly her eyes scanning around..

"..thank you.."

"My room is across the hall. I expect you to be there every morning with my breakfast. If I am asleep, just leave it on my bedside table." He instructed. "Your meals will be served to you in the kitchen, which is downstairs. Any questions?" He glared.

"..uh.." she says softly turning to him her ice blue eye looking at his eyes trying to keep herself from seeming yet still a little afraid...

"..I dont know how to cook food from his country... Just food from my country....would...that be ok?" she meets his glare with a soft look.

He groaned inwardly. Of cousre she couldn't cook normal food. "Like what?" he practicly growled.

"...uh...Mellow pie...Chi berry pie.." she looks up and puts a finer tip on her bottom lip as she thinks.

"...I can make many stews... and drinks..." she says softly not being able to think of all the things she can cook.

He had no clue what any of that was. He groaned. "Can you make a sandwich at least?" He asked, annoyed.

"..a..Sand..which?" she asks softly lightly tilting her head. She had never heard of it before.

"Really?" He asked out of disbelief. He sighed. "You take a peice of bread, put something ontop of it, and then put another peice of bread ontop of it. That's how you make a sandwich.'' Erick said slowly. He had no clue why he was explaining this to her.

She gives a small smile..

"How about i make you something i know how to make... and if you like it ill just make you all the things i know how to make...ok?"

Normally he would have yelled at her to figure out how to make normal food, but he held back. "Fine." He muttered.

"..ok.." she says softly..

"..so..do you have anything you want me to do now or can i go to bed?" she asks softly.

He thought for a moment. "Go get me a drink of water," he said before entering his room and closing the door behind him.

She lets out an annoyed sigh and turns from him room going down to the kitchen. She had a little trouble finding it but she does find it and fills him a class of water. She then walks back to his room and lightly knocks on the door.

He opened the door while simultaniously buttening his night shirt. He looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

She holds the water a little further from herself and says softly...

"...I got you water..."

He took the water and shut the door in her face. He had better things to do, he thought as he drank the water.

She lets out a sigh. He really was kind of ajerk, but at least now she could sleep. She walks away from his room and goes to her room where she shut the door and lays dpwn on her bed.

Maddie knocked on the new girls door loudly. "Rise and shine~!" She said in a sing song voice as she entered her room. "You've got a busy, busy day ahead of you!"

"Get up deary, you'll need to get used to this," Maddie said cheerfully. "Now go get dressed,"

"mkay.." she says softly standing weekly to her feet as she walks over to the hutch with simple white dresses in it. She liked that they were not fancey, she never liked fancey.

Maddie turned around, "When your done come to the kitchen for breakfast." She said cheerily.

"..ok.." she says softly waiting for her to leave before she slide off her cloths and puts on her clean ones.

Maddie looked hurt for a second, but left, nonetheless.

She looks over and wonders if she hurt the girls feelings and right away hopes she didn't. She looks over to her cooking and finishes in about 40 minutes.
