Story- Two bestfriends, kidnapped, out of their own beds as they slept, ready for schol the next day, families worried sick, searching every nook and cranny...little do they know that they will never be found, not in our world anyway. The two awake to find themselves in a frightening new place with no sense of how they got there or when. All they know is that they are together, and this place seems to be out to take their lives. If they follow the instructions, they may live, if they dont its certain death. They may have hope in the beautiful young man who sets himself in their path, will he be of any help? Or will he be the one to take their lives? His cold persona, and other wordly appearance puts the best friends at a stand offish point...scared, hungry, cold and seeming all alone...they fight to remain alive, and run from the ones who took them.

Ebony shot up and rubbed her head sheepishly. She looked around confused "Where the heck am I" she muttered. She pulled the sheets off of her and scooted out of the bed. The floor was cold but she dealt with it as she explored

Keira moved restlessly in her sleep, she fought with the blankets and finally tore them away from her body, they felt like they had had her in a vice like grip. Her eyes shot open, and she sat up her white blonde hair stuck to her forehead, as she pushed it back she saw a shadow in the room. Moving along the walls, as she noticed this, she noticed the fact that this was not her room. It was dingy and quite small, and it reeked of an unfamiliar smell. Keira got up and shivered when her feet hit the floor, cold, disoriented, and scared Keira headed for the shadow. When she got close enough she realized who it was, "Ebony...where are we?How di we get here? Well where is here?"

Ebony jumped, she hadn't note Keira in teh room with her. She hugged her "I don't know but i'm frightened." she said softly as she looked around again. "There's 1 door but it's locked" she told her, "And i've been too afraid to try and pick it" she added softly as she pulled out the hair clip she keeps in her hair

Keira hugged Ebony back, she could note a slight tremble in Ebony's voice and she knew that there was one in hers too. She always prided herself on being tough, but this was serisouly weird, the two of them waking up in the same room, not having a clue where they were? "Ebony, you have to try, I will be right behind you."

Ebony gulped adn took a shaky breath. "okay" she said softly. She pulled away and went to the door. She crouched down and started the process. She stopped and pressed her ear to the door as she thought she heard something. She continued jimmying the lock until she heard the faint click of it unlocking. She touched the knob and began to open the door.

Walter smirked as he watched the door. He saw her shadow by the door and heard her jimmying the lock. He decided to see how far they could get afterall what fun would they be if they cried the whole time.

Bio: He lives on the strange planet where Ebony and Keira have been taken, he knows of their kidnapping, and he is supposed to be part of it. McGrath was once Niaugaia's deadilest assassian till he stepped out four years ago. Still the world's deadilest, he hides in the shadows and waits, for the time of his calling.
Anything she/he is good at: fighting, killing,stealthy, and quite the dangerous one with knives.

Keira stood in a fighting stance that with one kick could drop a human being far taller than she, she heard the lock click open and slightly pushed the door open, putting herself a little bit in front of Ebony. She felt the need to protect her, even though she was just as scared as she was. The hall was darker than any night she had sen. Oddly still and eerie. Keira felt that she was being watched and it made every hair on her arms and neck stand at attention. She slid into the hallway, her nightgown swaying in a wind that blew in from the end of the hall. Her black streaked white blonde hair flew back from her face, she looked back at Ebony, and held out her hand. "Eb...we gotta get out of this room, we gotta get out and look for help...or at least find out where we are..."

McGrath stood in front of a large door, the etched words were still foreign to him and he could not quite understand why they had a portal such as this. Why need a portal to a human world? The only use the Loyalities had put it too was to bring two human girls over...kidnap victims. What great people to be kidnapped by...he felt sorry for them. He had not yet laid eyes on them, but he knew that they were here for some reason. Some sort of game, they were pawns in the Loyalities festivities. Blood sucking savages, they were, he despised them, part of the reason why he had left their assassian job behind. McGrath turned from the door letting his clawed hand leave deep scratches in it. He decided to go look for the human girls, he had a feeling they were awake, afraid, and ready to fight.

EBony nodded and took her hand. She was shaking a little and scolded herself for being so scared. She took a few breaths to calm herself down and looked around behind them keeping her eyes peeled for anything. She felt as if she was being watched and it unnerved her.

Walter smirked and chuckled darkly as he followed a few feet behind them keeping to the shadows. THe blond one intruged him, taking charge despite her fear. He looked around and smirked as he thoguht of Mcgratha nd wondered if he would be a problem to his fun.

Keira looked in each room they passed but saw nothing, no other room in this hallway had been locked except for theirs. "Ebony, I dont know why but I have the feeling that you and I are the only ones in this building..." Keira tightened her grip on her best friends hand, her body tense and ready to fight at anything that came her way. She didnt know why but she knew that they were no where near home. "Ebony, this place is not safe, we must find a place to hide...something is terribly wrong...I may not have been the smartest in school, but Iknow this for certain."


McGrath wandered the streets, the shadows hugged him, welcomed him in. He belonged with them, he moved his lithe muscles not even causing a leaf to move on the ground below his feet. He chose not to interfer with Walter's little game he was having so much fun with.

I know Keira...i feel it too" she said softly as she squeezed a little. "We are no where near home" she added softly as she looked behind her. "something doesn't feel right.....why would whoever lock us up in a room together in an abandoned building" she said as she glanced around again "I mean weren't they worried about us escaping" she added

Walter smiled "Very observing" he said from a few feet to their right. "i don't need to worry about escape if you have no clue where you are" he said as he watched Keira

Keira nodded and felt the need to cry, but she bit her lip, she would not stoop so low, she had to stay strong in order not to worry Ebony. Then she heard the voice, it was gruff, and deep...a mans, and it was not far from where she and Ebony stood. She pulled Ebony behind her, and stood towards the voice, she spoke hoping she sounded put together, willing the shake out of her voice. "Look, we dont know where we are, or who you are, but this is wrong. I demand we get taken home..." She knew that this would not work, but she was winging it. She held onto Ebony's hand tightly and kept herself in front of her.


McGrath stood in front of the tall building he knew Walter had taken the girls, he could hear the wind blowing through the open hallways, it no longer hit against the closed door of their prison...they were out. Which means Walter was on the hunt...

Ebony looked over Keira's shoulder at a shadow, darker than the others. "Wh...what do you want with us" she asked timidly. She stayed firmly behind keira, she couldn't fight for crap and knew it. She watched as the hadow stepped forward and took a step back. He looked their age yet had an air about that he was much older.

Walter chuckled "You and i both know that I will never meet your demands..." he said as he stepped forward allowing himself to be seen. " You are in Niaugaia, there is no escape and you will never see your old hom again" he said as he watched for their reactions. He lookeda t Evony as she spoke "I want what you couldn't possibly imagine but can hopefully give me" he said cryptically

Keira was puzzled she had never heard of this Niaguaia place, but she knew that just hearing the name of it sent chills down her spine. "What the hell do you want from us??" Every muscle in her taut little frame bulged, as she hissed this. Keira surprised herself, she didnt know that she had such fierceness in her.

McGrath, kept his distance still outside the building. He knew that Walter would let them out of the building to make his hunt more fun.

Walter chuckled "kitty's got fangs" he said as he stepped closer. "I want you to run, give me a good hunt, make it intresting" he said as he got closer with each word. "Entertain me and you'll live...for now" he said as he backed up and melded into the shadows

Ebony looked at him a she started to pull Keira back. She was surprised by the fierceness in her. "come on" she whispered she hoped there was a sane person who would help them

Keira allowed Ebony to pull her back but she really wanted to get back in this guys face and show him she was not scared of him, but she was afraid her eyes would slowly give her away. "Ebony, we must go..." her voice came out low and dangerous, her eyes flashed and she whirled towards the end of the hall, where she could see moonlight pouring in. She took off at a jog pulling Ebony with her. Her bare feet padded against the wooden floor.


McGrath stepped out of the shadows as he heard the girls running, he had watched them, his eyes allowing him to look through the thin walls of the building. He knew they were headed his direction, and he was going to step in their path. Not to hurt them, no...but possibly to help them in their quest home. It was sure to filled with hurt, blood and tears...but he vowed to help them back.

"i know....what do you think he meant when he said entertain him" she asked softly as she jogged beside her. She glanced back. Besides their feet slapping against the floor it was quiet, eerily so.

Walter chuckled as he watched them run. He stalked behind them savoring the thrill of the chase. He would let them get out side. he sensed Mcgrath and sighed as he broke into a light jog

Keira swung her body around the corner and saw the door that led outside ahead of them, "I dont know what he meant but Isure hope that we are able to do so...he seemed serious about not letting us go home if we didnt do as we were told, but you know me Ebony...its going to be hard for me to do this...all I want to do is kill him right now..." Keira's eyes flashed once more, and she fled for the door.

McGrath chuckled to himself and his clawed hand came up to brush his bangs from his eyes. He knew Walter had sensed his presence. Sensed that he was watching. Normally a deadly trained assassian such as McGrath would not put himself in the open like this, but seeing as how he wanted the girls to see him as soon as they cleared those doors, it was needed.

"i know" she said softly a she turned the corner and looked at the door. "But it still seems too easy" she said softly as she looked back. She looked at her freind as she skidded to a stop in front of the door. She was breathless as she put her hand on the knob.

Walter was still in the previous hall a few feet from the corner. He reached it and watched them at the door. 'What are you thinking mcgrath' he thought as he felt him right by the door. He stalked forward keeping his eyes on the girls

Keira stopped next to Ebony and looked at her, willing her with her eyes to open the door. She turned her head to look back and her brown eyes lit upon thier kidnapper, she stared at him her hand on the door and other holding her nightgown on her shoulder. Her black streaked white blonde hair fell across her shoulders, she glared at him, and bared her teeth. "Your in for one hell of a ride..." she growled.


McGrath heard the girls' halted footsteps on the other side of the door. He put his hand on the handle and pulled it open.

Ebony dropped her hand from the knob and stepped back. "who are you" she asked shakily as she looked the new man.

"Am I really" he said tauntingly as he kept walking towards her. He looked at the door and smirked

Keira returned the smirk, her fear quickly turning inot anger, "Yes you sorry son of a--" She whipped around when she heard Ebony speak. There in the door way stood a man, he had to be at least 7'4" and his astonishing features unlike anything the girls had ever seen. He had one clawed hand which was resting on the door knob. He was fully clothed in black, that fit tightly to the tight muscles that bulged with every move he made. He wasnt looking at them but at the man that had followed them through the halway. Keira stood motionless, suddenly afraid for her and Ebony's lives, all over again.

McGrath stood in front of the girls, feeling their instant fear wash over them, he watched Walter in the background. He held out his hands to the girls, all the while watching Walter. "I am here to help, take my hand...and you will be saved from instant death....for now."

Ebony looked at the man skeptically before glancing at Keira. She gulped and took the hand nearest to her, which happened to be the clawed hand. She shuddered as she felt it and looked at their kidnapper. She was terrified and every second it got worse.

Walter snarled and fast walked over to them. He stood a few feet from them "Mcgrath, ruining my fun as usual" he said through clenched teeth

Keira took the hand closest to her and looked back at the guy standing closer to her than she would like.

McGrath looked at Walter and without speaking aloud he said Or making it more fun for you, catch their scent....smells delicious, makes the mouth water....follow them, little goose chase Walter... He turned and started to run pulling the girls with him.

Keira ran and glanced back for a minute, still not feeling safe.

Ebony ran to stay upright. She feared if she tripped he would keep running. She looked back at the man and a chill ran down her spine as she saw the dark animalistic look in his eyes.

Walter smirked as he inhaled there scent savoring it all. He watched them run for a while longer before letting his mind succumb to the thrill of the chase

Keira ran her lungs felt like they would burst, the man was running far faster then she or Ebony could. Her feet were barely touching the ground and the trees were passing far quicker than imaginable on foot. Keira's heart was racing and her mind was filling with questions. Her fear was banished from her mind for the moment, she wished he would stop so she could yell and scream at him, for answers.


McGrath saw the safe haven that would prove to be these girls home until Walter caught their scent for good. He had ran them over 150 miles, in the hour he had gotten them. He ran into the building and flipped on a switch with his tail. Then put the girls down. "Now, you will stay here, do not move, do not make any noise louder than a whisper. You are beneath the mansion, which I own...there are plenty of scents around that will camofluage yours, but only for the time being...questions questions you are full of my dears...but you have no right to ask them of me, just yet. I promise you will know your answers next time you see me...You will know what to do when the time comes...this is as much interference I am allowed for this moment..." With this he turned from the two young girls, and vanished into the shadows beyond the door, which shut heavilly behind them.


Keira minded the man, and looked at Ebony, "Is it just me, or are we trapped again?" Keira bit her lip, moisture was threatening to bombard her eyes.

Ebony was panting and all she could do was nod numbly. When she regained her breath she sat on the ground heavily "Where the hell are we and what the hell could he be" she said angrily, which you could tell she never cursed. She buried her head in her hands as she tried to think.

Walter enjoyed the chase never going faster than a brisk run as he tracked their sweet scents.

Keira paced the room, her anger was building up and she punched the wall. It turned out to be nothing but plaster and her hand went right through it. She cursed under her breath and looked down at Ebony. She sat down next to her, and put her arms around her. "We have to stay strong no matter gets thrown our way, we are smart...we can make it home..." Keira was not sure of this, but she needed to say it...to make it seem alright.


McGrath stood in front of his bedrooms floorto ceiling length mirror and stared. He could not believe that he had not grown his horns yet...he felt his forehead where he should have had two black as night horns poking through to see nothing. He sighed and turned from the mirror, his mind back on the two girls, hidden in the room below his mansion. He could hear the servants and the butlers and everyone else that inhabited his mansion talk, joke, and walk around, with not a care in all the world.

"yes..we can make it home" ebony said softly as she looked up at her and hugged her. She looked from the hole to her fist "you okay" she asked. She moved her hands to her lap as she closed her eyes and calmed down.

Keira looked at her hand and shrugged, "Its not big...it will be fine, you know I have punched harder things that a plaster wall." Keira stood and wandered around the small room. It smelled of old rotting clothes and it needed a light, the shadows seemed to speak to them. "Ebony, he said that we would know what to do when the time came, does that mean he isnt coming back for us?" Keira's eyes kept flashing, the dangerous gleam seemed permanent now.


McGrath walked the halls, he felt the need to go down to the dungeon where the girls were and let them loose...he would always be a step behind to protect them, always there for them to question. But not for them to cling to...he could not be physically there. He pulled on his cloak and flipped on the hood, heading towards the dungeon. His footsteps echoed in the hall.

[Adrij]

Ebony looked up at her as she stood up. She went over to the hole "I don't think he is" she said softly as she poked at the plaster. "He said he isn't allowed anymore interferrence. So he left us, a prize for the lion" she added softly. "Hey keira come here i want to find out whats behind here" she said as she pulled at it.

Walter looked up at the mansion "getting closer" he siad his voice a bit gruffer and lower. He kept walking his claws out and the animilistic look still in his eyes

Keira bit her lip as Ebony spoke, she had almost forgotten his saying he was not allowed any more interference...she got up and walked over to the hole and began to pull at it with Ebony. The plaster came loose easily in some spots and in others Keira used all her power to get it loose. She threw it on the floor behind them. Behind the plaster was a tunnel...Keira looked at Ebony. "Guess he was right about us knowing what to do..." Keira stepped through the hole first and held out her hand to Ebony. "Hurry, we have no time to stand and wonder if this is safe....nothing here is...and right now this seems like the best thing for us to do, since we know that other guy is after us, considering how fast this guy was, he must be fast too..."


McGrath walked heavilly through the halls, they seemed never ending when he needed to get somewhere in a hurry. He did not know if the girls would have found a way out by now, that purple headed one seemed smart and the blonde seemed like she had a little common sense as well as lots of muscle. They made the perfect team, and McGrath was sort of confused on why Walter had chosen them, when they had the perfect amount of brains and muscle to pull their way home.

Ebony took her hand and stepped through. She looked around tentaviely as she started walking only stopping when Keira didnt move with her. "Where do you think it leads" she asked softly. She jumped slightly at the echo. She looked at Keira "Do you think the other one...Mccgrath i think he said, will come after us, but not to help this time" she asked

((I have to head back to work, I am only on my one hour lunch break, I get off at six my time, and its 1:48pm here. I will be on after that ASAP.))

Keira kept walking pushing the cobwebs aside and looking in the many different little nooks and crannys. She shook her head. "I really do not think he would, but he had a different sort of vibe around him, that I dont fully trust. The way he kept looking in your direction, when we stood there in front of the abandoned building. I cant shake the feeling, that we will never get out of here."

McGrath found the door to the dungeon and threw it open, a sigh released when he saw the hole in the wall. He smiled, he knew the blonde would get angry and punch somewhere, and she punched the right wall. He turned and headed outside before Walter found him alone.

Ebony sighed and followed her "It seem their both fascinated with us. The scary one with you more than me" she said as she trailed her hand along the wall just in case there was another passage way. "if we never get out of here, it'll e okay as long as we're together...i couldn't do it without you" she said with a small smile

Walter follwed the scents up to the door and growled as their scents were getting muddied with the others. He banged on the door as he foucsed on their scents.

Keira nodded she had noticed this too, the way he had looked at her, and talked directly at her. "Its true, he seems to be taken with me, but I do not know if its because he wants to make fun of his game, or if its something else. As long as I have you here with me too Ebony, I do not care if we make it home. Our families, were never that worried with us anyway..." Keira's eyes threatened to spill once more at the thought of her family.


McGrath kicked the lock holding the door in place, and fled down the hall. His smile showing his long teeth. He would soon see the girls again, to be there once again to save them from Walter at the last second.

[Adrij]

Ebony put a hand on her shoulder "Let's focus on getting safe first" she said softly. She took her hand and smiled.

Walter growled and started kicking the door in. He was not in the mood to be delayed. This is too much fun maybe i won't kill them yet he thought as he kept kicking

Keira nodded and squeezed Ebony's hand. SHe kept leading their way down the tunnel, a strange wind was blowing in from the way they were headed. Keira kept going against it knowing that this was their exit. She could smell the outside smells, the trees and the weird smell of this world's grass. The smell of sulfur burned her nose, and she looked down to see a blood battered corpse of an animal. She had a strong stomach for things such as this and kept walking past it. Her feet splashed in the water puddles that littered their way, with no way to dodge around them. Keira saw a distant light that slowly got bigger, she quickened her pace. The sound of a door being kicked behind them, made her jump.


McGrath, disappeared around a corner, and out of the mansion. He would always be one step ahead, around the corner from the girls, and would always be there when they cried out to him. But only if they knew to cry his name, this would be the only way he would be allowed to interfer.

[Adrij]

Ebony saw the body and gasped slightly "What did that" she said softly as she kept walking getting colder with each puddle. She heard the resounding thump of the door being kicked and quickened her pace as she saw the light and smiled slightly at their somewhat freedom

Walter laughed as the door caved in and he stepped through following their scent. He made it to the dungeon and got slightly confused

Keira started jogging, the light got brighter. Keira's heart beat faster with every foot step. She jumped when she heard the loud crash of the door hitting the ground. She looked at Ebony fear studded her eyes, after coming to the conclusion that she was the immediate prey of their hunter she did not want to stop. She swung her body and Ebony's slight frame around the corner, and out into the moonlight.

Ebony looked around as they swing around the corner "We need to find a safe place..." she said breathlessly as she ran to keep up with keira

Walter went into the dungeon and saw the hole "Angry little things" he murmured as he went up the tunnel taking his time

Keira looked around frantically, she saw nothing right off the bat. "Ebony, I have no idea where to find a place to hide, I really dont think that there will be one...that man seems to be following us no matter where we go..." Keira kept walking, never once did she stop. Her mind was nonstop thought, she couldnt get anything off her mind. Her eyes still roamed for a place to hide.

Ebony sighed as she looked around "There has to be somewhere....and we can't stay out in the open, we're sitting ducks" she said softly as she looked behind them. Her mind was even more weary than usual

Keira looked to her left and to her right, and found a small cave in the side of a mountain of rocks, she pulled Ebony over to it, and stepped inside. It was no bigger than a closet, not no walk in closet, but the kind you used to hide in during hide and go seek, barely big enough to sit down in. It fit the two girls, but it was cramped.

Ebony sighed "I should get in first" she said knowing she could give Keira more room to manever if they were found.

Keira pulled back and let go of Ebony's hand. She looked around, the wind blew the branches of the trees around, making sure their was noone around. The shadows danced across the ground, and made it seem like it was moving. Keira waited till Ebony was situated and then backed in. She had a feeling, that this was not goigng to hide them, but merely make it fun for him.

Ebony pressed herself into the edge to look out pass Keira. She sighed softly knowing this wasn't going to end well

Walter exited the Tunnel and took a deep breath "Finally a clear trail" he said as he followed the trail savoring each moment

Keira grabbed for Ebony's hand again, not daring to speak, she did not know how far Walter had made it behind them. She did not know if he was right around the corner of the cave or still in the room. Her hands trembled but not because she was scared, the cold of the night air was finally getting to her. Her bare feet and legs, and the sheer cotton night gown that clung to her, was proving to be no help against the wind.

"From now on i'm wearing pants and socks to bed" ebony siad softly. She only had shorts and a tank on. She chuckled faintly as she looked at her

He started jogging after a while and was closing in on the cave. He stopped 30 feet away and 5 feet back. "They spent some time here" he whispered as he looked around and relied on his sight instead of smell as he looked for them

Keira nodded, "Me too...and tennis shoes, I never thought I would get kidnapped while I slept." She tried keeping her voice below a whisper. The wind blew the trees and the shadows played with her emotions and mind again, making her think someone was outside, she gasped and her foot slid.

Ebony put her foot in front of Keira's to stop it from sliding. She saw the shadow of the man and gasped slightly. She looked at Keira fear in her eyes, but not fear for herself but fear for her friend

Walter heard faint talking and walked to the cave "Come out come out wherever you areeee" he sang as he got closer

Keira's eyes widened and she thanked Ebony with her eyes when she saved her foot. She jumped again when Walter spoke, he was close, right next to them. He had to know they were there. "Ebony...." Keira whispered, squeezing Ebony's hand. The wind stopped blowing as soon as Keira spoke, and she held her breath right after she said Ebony's name, for it sounded so loud, once the wind stopped blowing.

[Adrij]

Ebony squeezed Keira's hand as she looked out. Everything seemed so loud and to stand still as he got closer

Walter chuckled as he stood there at the mouth of the cave "Really hiding in a ccave...no more running no great escape...I expected more out of you two. Especially you blondie" he said

Ebony gulped and felt around the cave. She looked at Keira and sighed "I have an idea....i serisously doubt it though....the guy Mcgrath the one who saved us before, maybe he's nearby" she said abrely above a whisper

Keira looked at Ebony, trying so hard to ignore the fact that Walter had found them. "Yes McGrath...he no longer said he could interfer though, I wish he could help us though..."


McGrath, stood on the outskirts of the woods, watching everything, the shadows had developed around him, become a part of him. Hiding him from anyone and everything. He smiled his toothy grin when he heard Ebony say his name, she was on the right track. Then Keira wished something, she said she wished he could help. McGrath stepped out of the shadows, and they flew off back into the trees. "Walter, you found the girls again, your becoming quite the hunter."

[Adrij]

"And your becoming a pest...." walter mumbled as he turned around "Can i help you Mcgrath" he said somewhat darkly he had found his prizes and wanted them now although he wasn't ready to kill them.

Ebony sighed softly in relief as she heard mcgrath speak. She tugged on Keira's arm "Come on there has to be a way out" she said as she felt around all over

Keira helped feel around, she did not dare move from the cave. She could not shake the feeling that Walter's sick obession with them was more focused on her. She shuddered, things were so strange in this place. The wind had been blowing so hard, and now there was not a whisper of it. Keira felt something on her side of the small cave, she pulled on it, and it came loose. Suddenly the back of the cave opened, and her and Ebony went tumbling down into the vines below. They tangled themselves around the girls, and broke, til the girls hit the ground. Keira hit her wrist on a rock and she cried out.


McGrath paced in front on Walter, "No, I merely heard my name, someone wished I could help, it was one of the girls, I heard and here I am. Not sure how much help I can be..." McGrath heard the girls find the hidden wall in the cave, only to hear them hit the ground below with a heavy thud. Someone, he didnt know who, cried out. His mind floated to the purple haired one, she was so fair, and even though she was in so much danger, she managed to keep her fear subdued. He snapped out of his thoughts quickly, again remembering that no deadly trained assassian such as himself got lost in thoughts when face to face with his near match.

Ebony rubbed her back as she sat up and crawled over to her "Whats wrong' she asked as she looked her over. She saw her wrist and reached to touch it. She stopped and surveyed their situation. "Where are we now....a jungle" she siad softly as she looked back at the wrist

Wlater looked back at the cave as he heard a thud "Then are you proposing a fight to help them" he said as he flexed his wrists and stepped clsoer. "WHy do you protect them so much. their merely pawns" he said

Keira sat up trying not to move her wrist to much. She looked at it, and shook her head. "Nothing, I should be fine." She rotated her wrist a little, "I just hit it really hard on that rock, it didnt break thank goodness...I think we are actually. An underground jungle..." There was no wind down here, no sign of light. Just an unearthly glow that lit up the leafs on branches and trees. Keira shook her head. "You know that that man will be down here soon enough, we have to get going. No time for rest." Keira hated not being able to sit down and at least breath.

McGrath laughed, "You know as well as I do, that you are not goignt o give them up that easily to the Loyalities, your not going to chase them straight into their hands, otherwise you would be herding them towards them, not the oppposite way. You have kept your weary eye, on that blonde girl for this entire chase...what is it you find so fascinating about her?" McGrath walked in a complete circle around Walter, the shadows clung to his legs, following every contour of his frame.

Ebony sighed and stood up she looked around "There has to be a place we can rest....we can't run forever" she said as she looked at the leaves closely her intelligence sparked. She shook her ead this was not he time nore the place. "I think mcgrath is buying us time" she siad

Walter kept his eyes on him "I could ask you the same of the purple one" he said "And i would rather have my fun before handing them over" he added almost defensively

Keira looked up at the leaves too and nodded. "Yes he is I suspect..." Keira kept walking, her eyes went dark, her stomach was hurting and her legs were wobbly. She realized what was happening before it did, "Ebony..." She managed to say before she hit the ground.


McGrath's face burned a deep red before he could help it. "Enough! Have your fun...remember...I am here...." he turned and the shadows engulfed him, then seperated and he was gone.

Ebony turned around and rushed to her as she fell. She cradled her head her lap. "crap" she muttered as she looked at her. SHe sighed and stood up pulling Keira with her. She moved off of the 'main' trail and sat in a sheilded spot where she could look out. "Come on Keira i need you right about now" she muttered

Walter chuckled "Touchy touchy" he muttered as he walked in. He trailed his hands down the wall. "Where the hell is the switch" he growled angrilly

Keira's heart was racing, her mind was off somewhere else. Her body limp in Ebony's. Where she was she could hear Ebony's voice, she mentally reached out for her, screaming for her. She was struggling to wake up.

Ebony sighed and fanned her face "It's been a while since i've seen you faint....i wonder when you ate last, maybe tahts why" she murmured thinking aloud. She looked around and sighed she hoped Keira would wake up soon. She looked down at Keira as she felt something wrong. "Whats this feeling..." she asked softly as she looked down at keirra again

walter found it after walking back and forth 5 times. He pushed it down and jumped down the opening. He sighed as he looked around.

Keira felt like she was mentally being thrown against a wall, the breath was knocked out of her. Something loomed in the darkness of her mind, and she screamed, her scream mentally reaching out, to anyone within distance.

Walter looked to where the scream seemed to be coming from in his mind. "What happened to the blondie" he said knowing it was her. He came upon them and stared down at them.

Ebony gasped and scootched back pulling Keirra with her. "S..sh...she fa...fainted" ebony stuttered out as she looked at him fear in here eyes

Walter chuckled as he squated down and looked at her

Keira's body went ridgid and her breathing became erratic and uneven. Her eyes flew open, her eyes were there, but she was blank, shadows danced in her eyes, and she screamed over and over in her head. Shaking her head back and forth Keira tried once again to wake up.

Ebony yelped and jumped back a little "What the hell is wrong with her" she said glaring at him

Walter put a hand on Keira's head "Call your saviour i am not sure" he said

Keira calmed when the man put his hand on her forehead, her screaming ceased and her body went limp. Her eyes closed, and her breathing became normal. Keira's eyes opened slowly, "What happened...?" Keira looked up at Ebony. Her eyes were full of tears, "All I heard was my own screaming, and yours Ebony. There was so much blood, is that whats going to happen to us?"

McGrath heard the screams in his head too. He was far off, but he had connected his mind to both of the girls' before he had fled from the clearing. McGrath could feel that Walter was there, he questioned this, Walter was not bringing any harm, but the screaming in his head ceased.

Ebony hugged her tightly "I don't know...i hope not" she said softly as she looked up the man. "thank you" she said softly

Walter chuckled and stood up, he crossed his arms as he thought of what could have caused such a thing

Walter shrugged "That you get to live for a while longer" he said softly. He started to walk away still pondering

Keira was just as puzzled. "What the-?" Keira looked at Ebony and shrugged. "We should rest...I want to sleep..." Keira looked extremely tired, and the screams still haunted her. She could see her bloodied body evrytime she closed her eyes. She saw Ebony, leaning over her, screaming tears streaming down her cheeks. Keira wished so badly that she could banish what she had seen from her head, or that she could find out what was going to happen, before it did, so she could stop it. She didnt know who to trust anymore, after the man who had taken them, had calmed her down, then turned and walked away.

Why was he able to calm her down? So many questions pounded at Keira's mind, and she did not know how to answer any of them.

Ebony nodded and sat indian style as she looked at Keirra "Okay you sleep first" she said softly as she glanced around not trusting this new world at all. She wondered why the man calmed Keirra down. She sighed and closed her eyes in thought. What is the world is it changing us she thought

Walter wondered if he was connected to the girl somehow, there were stories of such a thing.

Keira fell asleep quickly, despite the images she saw flash through her.

Her dreams were ridden with what she had seen when she had fainted. That and their kidnappers face. He was smiling at her....and what....? Cupping her face...leaning in....something was wrong with this.

McGrath stood in front of the cave, he felt Walter's presence moving back from the girls, further into the cave. Something was going on, something had changed drastically. He suddenly thought that he was going to become the bad guy...

Ebony sighed as she watched the sleeping Keirra her mind still wondering what happened and what exactly she had seen. She looked up her eyes searching for their kidnapper

Walter watched them hidden from veiw. he was on friendly terms now he wondered what would become of Mcgrath

Keira's body twitched a bit, and her face became wrinkled with dread. Her dreams were plaguing her of things to come. She knew that she would not remember any of it right away, but at just the right moment to keep them from trouble, till her luck ran out. She sat up and opened her eyes, "I cant sleep, too much in my head."

McGrath stood in the clearing and looked at the moon, his eyes glowed red. A shadow came from nowhere, and hit him in the side, it felt like a brick wall had been thrown into him. He flew into the tree across the way, he growled, opening his mouth to do so. The shadow flew in, McGrath's body went ridgid, then limp. He fell to the ground. Slowly he stood, he had a different air about him, and his eyes were not the eyes of McGrath, but the eyes of a killer.

Ebony sighed and looked at her "What's wrong...is it more bad things" she asked softly as she laid down and looked at her. She looked for the man and wondered if he knew what the hell was going on.

Walter saw her wake up and came closer still hidden, he felt something happen outside of the cave and was....fearful... He sighed "You should get moving after she rests...i have a bad feeling" he told them still hidden

Keira looked at Ebony, "Yeah, more bad things...i dont know what to expect anymore. But death." Keira looked to where the voice was coming from and the images of him leaning in caught her off guard again. "What do you mean a bad feeling?"

McGrath pulled the hidden thing to make the door slide open, and he jumped down. He had a glow about him now, a evil one, that filled half the underground jungle.

Walter made himself seen as he felt Mcgrath's presence "Bad as in your so called protector gone hostile" he said as he looked down at them "I suggest we move" he added as he moved to help her up

Ebony looked at Keirra "Death??" she questioned fearful. She listened to walter and the fear multiplied tenfold. She took a breath and stood up.

Keira put her hand in Walter's hand and let him pull her up. She listened to his words and gasped, "McGrath has gone hostile? What does this mean?" She was afraid that skin on skin contact with Walter, would show him the image that played through her mind.


McGrath sniffed the air, and his nose crinkled. His teeth alongated and he smiled. He could smell their wonderful blood...he wanted to taste it.

[Adrij]

Walter sighed and looked at her "That your dream may come true" he said as he grabbed Ebony's hand and started walking quickly leading them away at what would be a run in their pace

Ebony gasped "i don't want to die" she said softly as she glanced back

Keira ran to keep up, his hand seemed overly warm in hers. Her mind twisted around this new bit of information. "I dont want to die either." She looked at Ebony, and tears threatened her eyes once more. SHe loved her best friend, and she didnt want her vision to come true. She didnt want Ebony to hold her while she died. She wanted her to hold her when she cried, or when she just got her heart broken by a guy...not death.

McGrath felt their movement, and he sped up.

Walter turned into a thick brush and stopped. He pushed them down "Stay here stay quiet...walter is my name yell it if he finds you" he said quickly before speeding away

Ebony sniffled softly as she tucked into the fetal position and cried silently. The threat of death taking its toll on her. She peeked out at keira and pulled her close

Keira nodded and watched him go. She hated to see him leave. She let Ebony pull her closer and she cried with her, silent sobs shook her body.

McGrath smelled them, their scent mingled with Walter's then Walter's scent broke off and went one direction when theirs went another way. "Girlsss...come out come out...I am here..."

Ebony stiffened and a chill ran down her spine. She gulped as she looked up fear in her eyes but her body and face calm.

Walter was doubling back, he looked ahead as he saw mcgrath's back in the distance

Keira shifted which caught McGrath's attention. He reached into the bush lightening quick and grabbed Keira's hair, and pulled her out. He grabbed her arms and let go of her hair. "Your the little blondie that Walter is so obsessed with...." McGrath looked her over. He turned setting Keira on the ground and entangling his fingers in her hair once more, knowing she wouldnt move. He waited.

Walter clenched her teeth as Mcgrath grabbed Keirra. He stepped closer and watched he was going to interfere but eboony beat him to it

Ebony crawled out of the bush as slowly as stealthily as she could manage. She looked up at mcgrath and knew she couldn't take him. She glanced at Keirra for a brief moment as she tried to think of a plan. "Let her go" she said lowly as she stood up

Keira flinched when he pulled her hair, it hurt, and it scared her. Her eyes pleaded with Ebony to please not interfer. "Ebony please, dont..." Keira didnt want Ebony to get hurt.

McGrath looked down at Ebony and smirked. "Get back you puny little girl." He yanked Keira up by her hair making her feet dangle above the ground, Keira screamed at the pain.

[Adrij]

EBony stepped back as she screamed. A tear slid down her cheek as she realized that she was useless right now, when it counted she was useless. She stepped forward even though every part of her was screaming not to. "just let her go mcgrath please" she said softly as she stepped forward again, "I'll trade with her" she added softly

Walter stepped closer, he felt something he couldn't describe as she screamed and he wanted to help

Keira's eyes overflowed with tears, all the strength she had drained from her. McGrath yanked her again and laughed as she screamed. "Little girl, you better stop coming forward, I can do more to her than yank her hair, I can make her bleed..." McGrath began to think about making her bleed, and he smiled. To show he was serious he took his free hand and ripped her nightgown, slicing into her skin on her chest, making the front of her night gown red, and making Keira scream louder and start sobbing, pleading to be let go. "Please just kill me if you must, but let Ebony go..." Keira wailed.

EBony stepped back the tears flowing freely, "No don't kill her please" she pleaded as she stepped back again. SHe wished walter would jump in and faintly wondered if this was a trap

"Mcgrath....seems you got a little hostile" Walter said as he stepped up to where Keirra was

Keira's blood flowed freely from her open wound, which was deep and the pain shuddered through her body. The front of her gown was drenched. McGrath looked at Walter, "Following instructions Walter...I am an assassin." Keira struggled against his hold in her hair. "Stop moving you worthless human!" His free hand smacked her across the face, leaving claw marks on her cheek. Keira cried out, the pain of his hand hitting her, made pain explode across her face. She spit out blood, her hair get matted to her cheek. Keira looked at Ebony, her left eye was bloodshot now.

"But these two aren't marked for death" walter pointed out as he watched the blood flow. "His body ached to help her "THey are to be escorted to th e loyalties" he added strained

"loyalties...who are they" ebonyy asked her curiousity sparked as she stepped clsoer. She could smell the blood in the air and gagged slightly

McGrath laughed, "Whoever said I was doing this for the loyalities? I do no work them anymore...this is for a more higher authority."McGrath grew weary of holding Keira in the air, and he tossed her to the side. She smacked into a small tree and gasped as the air flew out of her. "I want to make this more fun for me...drag it out..." He smiled, "So see you guys soon..." He turned and was gone, in the blink of an eye.

Keira shivered, her wounds bleeding, her eye was swollen, and her face was bruised deeply. Her tears flowed, and she whimpered. The pain in her chest was the worst. "Ebony..." Her voice came out ragged as she fought to get her breath back.

EBony ran to keirra and sank to her knees the moment she was next to her "oh..keirra i'm so sorry" she said still feeling useless. Walter appeared next to her and sighed "dam shadows" he muttered as he picked her up slightly to look over her wounds

Keira coughed, fighting for air, it was a struggle with the force of hitting the tree her lungs should have been crushed. She cried, and whimpered when Walter touched her, her tears mingling with the blood on her face. The wound on her chest still bleed freely, and losing so much blood was draining the color out of Keira's face. She reached her hands around Walter feebly, and grabbed his shirt, "I am cold..."

HE scoot closer so she wouldn't have to strain herself.
Not for much longer" he told her softly as he bit into his wrist and let it drip over her chest wound.

EBong held a hand over her mouth and looked everywhere but at the blood

Keira's head rested on Walter's leg, her face was pale and her hair was a dingy red from the blood. She gasped when Walter's blood hit her wound. The pain was almost inbearable, but then a cooling sensation spread through her body.

He stroked her face with his free hand as he watched the process. "are you okay" he asked softly. He had never shared his blood before so he didn't know what would happen to her. He let the blood drip on any other major wounds.

Ebony peeked over to them "Is it safe to look yet" she asked meekly. She hated large amounts of blood it made her nauseous and such.

Keira's skin rippled with warmness and she looked at Walter with a strange expression on her face. Her pain was going away and her vision was going away. "I cant see.."

[Adrij]

"Maybe it'll come back" he said as he licked his wrist closing the wound. He bent down and licked the blood from her chest before kissing her.

Ebony stood up "i'll be over here" she said as she walked away seconds later retching could be heard
