Darkness & light

Light is pure and good,but dark is evil and bad.Why can`t i take a side?If i become dark then people will fear me and cry.That`s all i know about that side.In darkness my light will be lost,that is if i have the light.If i become light then people will be nice and kind to me.Why can`t i take a side?Witch side should i take?Light good,Dark bad.There are no sides to take,nor will i take a side.Nor good nor dark.If you ask i will say''There are no side to take with you,nor are there sides for few.''If you ask me to take a side i will not hide,i will say my mind and say no.That`s how come there are no sides in life.Darkness and light?Ha!It`s like cuting myself with a knife.Light is pure and good but dark is evil and bad.Why can`t i take a side?I know why,becuase they are both the same.
