Kat takes a step closer and galres angrily because she's so much shorter then the strange boy and has to look up. "If you're REALLY waiting for your friend, you can wait ehre. Though you jumping away from me is lookin' pretty fishy. You're not planning on pouring that into my lake ARE YOU?" Kat hissed at the boy again, her ears laid back flat against her head in anger. "What's your name, boy? ANSWER ME!!" Kat grabbed the back of the boy's shirt so he wouldn't run off and harm her peaceful lake from elsewhere.

Calix then moved his hands and froze the girl and went to the lake and poured the potion and the demon came out.......beautiful mermaid like features turned to hideous scaly monster which exploded.

Riley walked along, swinging a bag carrying stuff like a giddy schoolgirl. She finially made her way to the lake. She didnt see anyone from a far and shrugged, usually people come here alot. Riley skipped to the edge of the lake and took of her shirt and skirt, shoes, and socks. She looked down at yhe design on her bikini then jumped into the icy cold water

"Father!!!!!" she screams up the stairs, "There's people swimming in our la-" she cuts off when she notices her father isn't alone.

Turning away from the man who she had thought was her father for her entire life and the boy who wanted to destroy him, Kat faces the window. Hearing a gasp, she looks down. Letting out a silent cry of her own, she steps back. "Your that girl from our lake! Or... Whatever it is. What else haven't you told me, father?"

"Hello ummm.... hehe nice weather were haveing eh?" Laura said with a sweat drop going down her head

"I dunno, looks pretty untrustworthy to me. It could change at any second," Kat says, glaring at the water demon in his human form. "Don't just stand there looking embarrassed. Everyone else is here, you might as well join in this family dispute. My life just blew up in my face, what difference is one more person?"

She blinked....uh maybe this would be a bad time to step in. Riley had her hand on the doorknob...ahh forget it!! SHe swung the door opened and smiled nervously. "uh....hehe Im here now" she said

"Just fine," Kat muttered. "Yeah, come on in, I don't care anymore." she slunk down, leaning her ehad against the wall and watching the steadily-getting-larger group in her house.
Her "Father" rested a strong hand on Kat's shoulder, frowning down at her. "I'm sorry. I should have told you. I found you on the beach when you were a baby, I didn't see anyone else nearby, so I took you in as my own. I didn't want you to know I wasn't your father, so I couldn't risk telling you about my demonic form in case you found out children were impossible for me to have."

As Calix saw his opportunity he took it cuz he saw that the girl was being controled by the demon which changed her emotions he tried and reverse the malfunction and vanquish the demon who now was taking out and athame to kill the girl

"today's the day of demon slay
demon will not walk after this day
vanquish this demon so he shall not see tomorrow
all that knew him will feel no sorrow"

the demon let out a cry and exploded...........

"Whoa!" Kat cried, jumping away form the dmeon as he exploded. "You just... Ka-boom," she saidm a surprised look on her face. "Well. That was... different," she says, looking around at the group of people in her house.

Calix stood there and hugged the girl so she would not break down and decided to tell her y he was here

"I am sry 4 ur loss and i understand you must hate me....... but I wasn't here on coincidence. I am here to be your whitelighter and guard trough a journey which you must take trough this big town.........do u wish to begin it?"

Kat looked up at the boy, callix. "The first time I saw you I thought I'd never want to talk to you again, for trespassing. Silly. I guess I'm stuck with you now," she teased. Then her face became serious. "I guess... I'm ready," she said unsteadily.

Calix smiled at her saying yes and said:

"well then we must start with you telling me where the soul calibur is."

(soul calibur:i no its from a game but go along,it is a weapon that fuses with the GOOD wielder's weapon and becomes super strong. viceversa the SOUL EDGE is the weapon that fuses with a BAD guys sword to be more powerful)

"Soul Calibur? Hm... I think my mother mentioned that once... A sword, right? She said it was warded down in some cave at the bottom of that mountain near the lake. She said that it was there because nobody would ever think to look for smoething so powerful in a murky cave. I guess it's worked so far... I think I know where that cave might be," Kat said.

good now we must try and find it before anyone else finds and destroys it

"Why would they try to destory it? It's a sword, powers or not. Well, it should be no more then a 20 minute walk from here, if we hurry. I'm not too sure about wards against intruders, but my mother, or who I had thought was my mother, was always talknig about passwords and she hinted at me that the password was a secret that I hadn't learned about yet. Maybe some thing about Him being a water demon, or how I was found on a beach? Who knows, I'm sort of confused right now," Kat admitted.

calix tried to remeber something but couldnt. He said to Kat

"maybe it was something dear to someone....who owned it.....oh.and well i can assure that WAS your mom she was married to him by force , and i guess she kinda got used to him, your real dad was one of my teachers of the craft I use. He kinda looked like you except........he was a guy(laughs). No but seriously he did look like you. He and I went to look for your mom when she was taken by force. They were never married though they just were a couple. So when she was taken by force he broke down. Then as we looked for her we encountered a shadow which was almost invisible that completely slaughtered your dad(a little teary)...................and......i......didnt stop him. ..........It was to fast ........im sry."

Calix told kat as they heade for the cave

"Oh..." she said sadly, looking over at Callix. "It's not your fault (smile). So at least that explains... some. Here we are," Kat said, stopping in front of a small hole that only stood to about her chest. Feeling a strange wind, Kat shivered. "This is the only cave it could be."

"sweet, now stand back!" as he said it he threw a potion that banished an invisible barrier but as he walked he got shocked and fell.

Kat jumped back and screamed, reaching for Callix. "What was that?! Are you alright??"

When Callix didn't move, Kat picked him up off the gorund, huffing at his weight, and up against a rock. "I guess I'm in this alone until Callix wakes up. What to do about the other shields... Kat reached out into the cave, but felt nothing, moving slowely forward, Kat found that there we no sudden bursts of electricity. "I guess once a trap is sprung, it doesn't work again. Maybe I sohuld bring some rocks or something to throw every couple steps to make sure I'm not walking into anything I can't see..." she mumbled to herself, picking up a few rocks and sticks around the cave. "I hope he wakes up soon, I don't wnat to just leave him here," Kat said, pausing in front of him. "Maybe I should just wait.." Kat set the pile of rocks beside her, and sat on the rock beside Callix. "Are you waking up?" she asked, grabbing a napkin from her pocket (always good to carry stuff like that around o.O) and wetting it in the lake. Resting it on Callix's head, Kat sighed and stood up. "He said we need that sword as soon as possible, so I guess I should go in there now..." Kat whispered, biting her lip, and heading towards the cave, rocks in hand.

Calix woke up and soon found out that Kat went missing. "Damn!! I Lost her!" He went out worried to look for her around and he had a premonition as he touched the rock next to the one he woke up in. He could see in his vision that Kat had gone inside of the cave and he quickly entered it without a worry of getting shocked.

Slipping silently through the cave (you never know who could be listening), Kat searched for some clue as to where the sword was. It's so dark in here! she thought, squinting to see through the growing darkness. I wish there was some light in here. A torch attatched to the wall suddenly came into view, spreading a dull glow in the small pathway. Up ahead Kat saw more and more torches appearing. "Did I just... No way, must have been by chance! Maybe it'll work again... I wish I knew where Callix was..." (Maybe he'd woken up? Hopefully he was still safe) The air wavered into a view of Callix walking through the cave, only a few paces behind Kat. He turned and looked straight at her, then walked through th hole in the air. Letting out a small cry, Kat jumped back. "I've got an idea!" She exclaims, getting a weird look from Callix. "I wish I knew where Soul Calibur is!" she said, and the cave started to spin.

Ok, me and Callix over there are in this cave along the beach looking for a special sword thingy and he's on a mission to bring me on this "quest through the town" feel free to "follow" Callix into the cave and suddenly appear ^.^ I have to go in 10 minutes, but I'll talk a bit))

Kat gasped, spinning around. "What are you doing here? How did you find..." Um never mind!" Kat said to the girl behind her. "Hey wait aren't you that girl from the lake or house or... Um.." Stalling for time, Kat hid the sword behind her back, looking at Callix she sighed. "Did she follow you?"

Yeah, that I lost here when I went exploring after I bough it... Yeah. So, what are you doing here? Callix, you relly have to be more careful, if you let a little girl follow you without notice!" Kat laughed, looking back at the girl. "So... need help getting out?"

"hey i didnt know she was following me i am just woken up from a wonderful nap u know. So we should go now" callix headed out

"wonderful nap? more like electricution. Oh well, I guess you can follow," Kat said to the girl. "Don't want you to be lost in here for long, you could die of hunger or thirst or... or... gah, just come!" she grumbled, somehow finding her way out of the cave with Callix and the girl. "So Callix, what do we do with his thing, now that we've got it?" Kat asked, turning with question in her eyes, handing him Soul Calibur.

"Hm.. Good idea. But where should I go? Back home, it's pretty empty in there, with only me," Kat shivered. "Before I wouldn't care, but I have this weird feeling like something bad's going to happen, and i don't want to be alone when it does," she said, blushing at how stupid that must sound.

"Thanks," she says sheepishly, heading off for her house. Once inside, Kat looked aorund. "Um, there's a couple guest room upstairs, you can pick one if you like."

"wow, everything ahs changed so much." she looked at a picture of who she had thought was her father, picked it up, and threw it at the wall. "Hm."
