There is Nothing Lucky about Lucky Dagg orphanage. The walls a cracked. The kids walk around like zombies. There is always a gloom in the air. The orphanage attendents are always mean. And the food tastes horrible. There have been talk of escaping. But nobody has ever done it before.

"Slosh!"

Yet another day of Mushroom random surprise. Mistress Chef watched as it dribbled down her serving spoon and onto the small tray the orphanage provided for the children. This was her best batch yet, it actually came out the color it was supposed to this time. She was reminded of last year's incident when she aciddently added in one of the children's missing shoes plus smelly and holed sock. The color was far from white and actually exploded whilst she was stirring slowly. She allowed the muck to cool before she popped it into the run down microwave to re-heat it. That added extra texture for sure. It's not as lumpy as mashed potatos should be, but warm and runny...almost like water. She added a few crackers and a carton of milk to the tray and set it down with the rest of the prepared meals.

"Ah, breakfast. The most importaint meal of the day."

Bunny stared at the food with disgust. SHe stared at Mistress Chef and wrinkled her nose. "I was hoping you'd surprise us with something edible" She said and pushed up her baggy sleeves. Bunny grabbed a tray with distaste but smiled anyway. She had learned the hard way not to test Miss Chef's patience. She also knew not to tell her it was her birthday. She couldnt risk shoveling down another two sweet cupcake. She waked to a table and almost slammed her tray down. But, giggling as she saw someone else do the same thing, and he was covered with this junk...its best not too.

Choosing to ignore the comment, she seemed proud of herself as she watched the little one walk away with her tray of food. She completely missed the look she was given and started handing off more servings to half-starved children of the orphanage.

'They should consider themselves lucky to have such an experienced chef like moi cook their breakfast, lunches and dinners.'

Smirking slightly, she wandered back into the kitchen to heat up another batch of Mushroom Random Surprise.

Bunny did everything at lunch but eat. Oatmeal would have been better then this. And Bunny hatedoatmeal. So what is she was hungry. Everyone knew the stories about Jim, who stole some food to her sister when she got punished for now food, They keep good food here hidded. So they can eat it. Bunny knew where it was, she had helped.
She looked around to see Meg smiling while girls talked. "well she doesnt even talk and she has friends" I muttered under my breath. She dumped her Mushroom surprise in the trash so she wouldnt get in trouble for not eating it. The only thing surprising about it i sif you survive after eating it Bunny turned to Jim who was eating it quickly. That didnt surprise her. He could eat anything. She went up and asked for me, smiling slightly. The smell was enough to make her puke. SHe reasted a hand on her stomach. Maybe if she ate more her clothes wouldnt be so baggy.

She wasn't sure where she had last left her stirring spoon. The stove was on high, which she forgot to turn off as she served the children and now the mushroom random surprise was boiling like crazy.

Plop, plip, bubble!

"Darn, where did I leave that spoon?" She had failed to notice the mucky meal rising over the brim of the deep pot.

Pretty soon it will boil over or worse...explode. But Mistress Chef was in her own world looking for her beloved spoon. She checked in all the cabinets and pantry, even the kitchen sink full of dirty dishes and trays. She'd clean that up later.

The boiling got pretty intese as she barely now heard the noise behind her. Spinning on heel, she was greeted with a big slosh of hot, mushroom goop as the whole boiling pot exploded within the tiny area she had to work in called the kitchen.

"GREAT GODS, ALMIGHTY. IT BUUUUUUUURNS...!!" Her high pitched wail could be heard down the halls of the orphanage.

"Ehmahgod" Bunney said wiping a glob of mushrooms out of her eyes. She stared in awe for a few minutes and burst out laughing. She rolled on the ground holding her sides. Tears fell out of her eyes. When she heard the cry of, "It Buurnnns" She got up quickly grabbed the hose and ran inside.
She got someone to turn the hose on and she sprayed Chef with cool water. The water dyed down after five minutes and Bunny stood there holding the hose. She turned on the heel off her boot and ran out as quick as she could

she was suddenly engulfed with a steady stream of cold water as the burning sensation of boiling hot goop finally simmered down. When the source of the water ceased, she was amazed to see the small girl from earlier with a hose in her hand!

"...You...you..." Before she could finish, the little girl bolted out! "Hey, stop!" She started to run after her, and slipped on her face. Water on the ground and running do not mix, let me tell you... Getting up, she slid out of the kitchen and booked right after the young girl. "HEY, I'M TALKING TO YOU!" She leaped off the ground, and even though it goes against everything she stands for, TACKLED THE LIVING CRAP out of the smaller child! They both tumbled to the ground and Mistress Chef successfully pinned her to the ground.

She squirmed under the grasp Of Chef pinning her down. SHe thought of biting her arm but decided against it. She glared at Chef and tried not to worry about the fact that Chef was dripping water on her. "As much as I love you crushing me...Can you get off!"

Shikino stood there as the cook and the smaller child strugled on the ground. Not liking how her father aboused her, she thought that the chef was going to hurt the smaller child. "Leave her alone!" She ran up and pushed the chef off her and grabbed the child by the hand. Pulling the girl along she took her behind the building looking back to see if the chef was fallowing.

"Argh, little brats! I just wanted to thank her!" She muttered under her breath. She pulled out one of her sweet, sweet cupcakes from underneath her apron and threw it after the two children. "Ah well..."

She stopped screaming. "um...your welcome. You have weird ways of saying thanks.." She said, eyeing the cupcake. She elbowed the other girl. "Dont eat it unless you like sweet things." She said. Bunny would like the cupcakes it they wernt so sweet.

Remembering all the evil things her father did to her, when she was with him. Looking back at Bunny. "I'm new... so I don't know anyone here."

Truely bored she just kept walking until she ended up back at her dorm, once there she decided to go in and rest.

Finding comfort under a shady black oak tree, Yoshiki pulled out a small stack of different colored paper and began to fold and and shape them, origami, and soon began to humm quietly to self.

Over hearing the stories of the others Yoshiki Pulled from his inner coat pocket a picture with a cracked glass covering, he kissed it and placed it back within his coat without a word, and continued shooting the planes into the air.

Bunny turned around, not interested in watching this new guy read. SHe sat on the ground, if anyone wanted to talk to her, they would come over. She looked up and saw the sleeping girl, as she rolled over in the grass. Adruptly, a michevious idea formed in her head. Bunny shook her head wildly. "No...I shouldnt...Its tooooo immature" She said..."Wait Im immature already, pfft then what am I waiting for." She stole some whipped cream reddi whip from under her bed and borrowed a feather from Meg. She skipped out cheerfully And sprayed whipped cream on the girls hand. She tickled her nose with a feather.

Bunny got annoyed when it didnt work. She picked up the girls hand and shoved it in her face. She jumped over her then satunder the tree, humming.

Okay, I don't really have much an idea of what's going on, so I'll just start.



Tatum banged on the looming door of the Lucky Dagg Orphanage.

'Lucky my foot,' she thought bitterly, shivering int the pouring rain.

She pulled her thin windbreaker around her a little tighter. 'Where ARE they? It's freezing out here! And...they're coming. I can feel them.'

As if on cue, something behing her crunched. She whirled around, looking for the tell tale glowing red eyes...but she only saw darkness.

'No,' she told herself. 'Not here. He promised.'

She pushed her dark wet hair out of her face an knocked again, harder this time. Then, after what seemed like and eternity, the door swung open slowly.

"You late," said a voice from inside.

"Yeah, well, sorry. Maybe if you'd opened the door when I first started knocking-"

Tatum put her hand to her cheek. It was already burning from the blow. She scowled up at the face looming above her.

"What did you say?" said the woman.

Tatum bit her lip. "I said 'sorry ma'am.' Can you show me to my room, please>?"

"I thought so. Here. Take this," she said, handing Tatum a candle.

'Great,' thought Tatum. 'Another great home.' She wanted to cry. But she couldn't. She didn't believe in cryin anymore. Her little sister had cried when...when they had taken her. Crying did nothing.

Having dozed off under the tree, Yoshiki awoke and looked around to see what was happening. Sat up, stretching his arms up high yawning away the sleepy daze.

Tatum reached her room, and cautiously turned the handle. She shone her candle around the small room. It was dark, and the furniture was meager, but she liked it. It was her own.

She sat down on her bed--it creaked loudly. Ignoring it, she opened the bag she'd set next to her and pulled out a book-a leather bound Atlas, given to her by her father.

'Never lose this, honey,' he'd said. 'It's your key to the world.' He'd given it to her the night he'd died. Like he knew.

Opening the drawer of the table near her bed, she shoved it in, along with her mother's old rag doll, and a collection of letters. Letters to and from her parents that had been sent on their many mysterious trips. She'd never been told where they were going, but she'd always enjoyed the gifts they'd brought back. Her most prized possesion was a golden anklet with a sapphire teardrop mounted in the middle. She'd worn it every since her ninth birthday, when her mother had given it to her.

Setting the candle on the bed, she finished unpacking her few belongings and laid back on her bed, clutching her baby blanket to her chest. She puched her nose into it and took a deep breath.

"I miss you guys," she sad aloud as the fell asleep.

The next morning, Tatum woke up stiff and hungry.

The rain had dissapeared, and sun shone in a thin shaft through the window above her bed.

She rolled over, her bed creaking as it had been all night.

There was someone banging on her door. She pushed herself up and walked to the door opening it slowly.

A girl stood there.

"Here," she said. "These are yours. Bathroom's down the hall. Be downstairs in fifteen minutes." And she was gone.

Tatum looked down at the bundle of clothes in her hand: an old, patched dress, dark stockings and hideous shoes. She snorted. She'd keep her own tennis shoes, thanks. Grabbing her tooth brush and a dirty face cloth, she headed down the hall in the direction the girl had indicated. An old bathroom, dirty and dark, stood at the end. She quickly washed up and put on her new clothes.

"Ugh." She didn't like much how it looked, though she couldn't deny that the forest green of the dress made her gray-green eyes stand out a bit more.

She headed back down the hall, put away her old clothes...and her old life.

She couldn't hide anymore.

'Time to make some friends...again,', she thought as she headed down the stairs.

'I know,' said another voice in her head. 'But you felt it, didn't you?'

'No! I'm done with them! I swore it! They can't be here. They can't...'

As Yoshiki watched Tatum run off, he merely sighed and continued his way.

Now dropping the origami creations, made yesterday, as he walked on slowly. Only humming a small tune.

Soon as Yoshiki only felt an empty pocket when reaching into it He stopped and looked back his track of paper.

He then walked back to the tree he had once been before. Sat once again under the cool shade and glanced around at the others. Reaching for his handbag and pulled out a small object and held it in his hands sheilding it from view.

Tatum sat on her swing, by herself. As usual. Just the way she liked it. Or at least, that's what she told herself.

She toyed with her mother's anklet, staring at the blue gem, thinking of her last home. She grimaced as she remembered her last night there.

I lay gasping on the kitchen floor, Daddy Dearest above me, an ugly sneer on his even uglier face.

"You wanna say that again, girl?"

I struggled to sit up. My ribs screamed in agony. I was sure his last kick had cracked a few. I didn't let my pain show on my face.

"You're NOT my father. I'm getting out of here. And you can't stop me."

He kicked me again, in the face this time.

Blood gushed from my nose. Probably broken. Again. I didn't care.

Standing slowly, grimacing in pain, I looked the short, balding man in the eye. I could smeel beer on his breath.

"Admit it," I gasped out. "You need me here. You need the money from being a foster parent. Well, I'm leaving."

"You won't last two seconds out there. And you know it."

"I don't care," I spat. "Just as long as I'm away from you." I mustered up the last of my strenght and kicked him HARD in the crotch. When he doubled over, I smashed my knee into his ugly mug. He fell to the floor, writhing in pain.

I sprinted up my stairs, spitting blood out of my mouth. It my ribs hurt, I couldn't feel it. Adrenaline. It was God's gift to me.

Quickly shoving my few belongs into a small backpack, I checked around my closet one last time.

I was ready to go.

Back down the stairs in a flash, I noticed The Bastard still lying on the floor. I smirked at him

"Good bye, Daddy Dearest."

She'd wandered the street for days, until at last, the pain was too much. She still didn't remember exactly how she'd ended up with them.

But now she knew there was no escaping.

I woke up in dark room. I could hear breathing near my right side.

"Where am I?" I muttered, feeling groggy.

"You're...safe," said a voice.

"That doesn't answer my question. And who are you? Turn on a light."

Almost immediately a light came on. I shut my eyes to avoid being blinded.

When I opened them, I saw I was on a bed in a small room. I man sat next to me.

I sat up quickly, stiffling a scream as I did so.

"Careful," said the man, his voice emotionless. "We've done what we could for you, but you will take time to heal."

"Yeah, well, I don't got time. I gotta catch a train outta here before-"

"Because you were so intent on finding a train before we found you?"

I blushed, but didn't back down.

"Look, I don't know who you are, but I gotta go. Thanks for the help." I tried to jump off the bed, but the man held me down. And MAN was he strong.

"Not yet. You need to know something."

"I don't gotta know nothing," I said, struglling against him.

"Yes, you do. Don't you want to know who killed your parents?"

I froze. "How do you know about my parents? Who are you?"

"That is of no importance now. What is important is that you are in danger. You must come with us."

"Who us?" I asked, my voice rising a notch. And then I saw the wings sticking out of his back.

And then I ran.

I went from house to house for a month after that, trying to forget. But the man with the dark wings haunted me nightly. Around every corner, in every dream.

I finally thought I was rid of them...until I ended up at Lucky Dagg.

Shikino frustrated at what had happened, walked about in the yard. She moved from one area to another hoping that it would calm her down. Finally she found a place to sit. It was were she took Bunny when she took her from the lunch lady. Shikino sat on the ground roughly. "Ugh!" She said as she laid down her head and put her arms underneath them.

Tatum looked over to where the girl was lying on the grass.


She looked...angry about something.

'Should I go over,' she wondered. She wasn't so sure after what had happened with the boy from before.

'No,' she thought, then aloud, "No. Get over yourself. Go talk to her."

And with that, she stood from the swing and walked over to the girl.

After some time Yoshiki placed the object back and soon laid back against the tree and crossed his arms behind his head trying to relax.

Slowly his eyes closed and he drifted into a light sleep.

April sat up from her old bed . She had fallen asleep with her head phones on.She decided to go get some fresh air. She walked outside and shelded her eyes from the bright light. She saw a guy leaning against a tree so she decided to go say hi. April walked over and sat on the other side of the tree.

Yasha felt anger in being in a place like this. Nothing to do, eat, or learn. Just junk! So she often sat by an old oak tree and fastsized what he life might be like if she wasn't.......here! So here she was sitting by the oak tree thinking some thing she does more than talk.

Yasha made an "EPPK!" sound and jumped away from the girl she had bumped into. "S-Sorry! Sorry!" She cried. Then she said her name. Yasha blinked feeling blank. "Demon." She muttered pointed to her chest. "My name is.......Yasha. Which means.............................Demon." She clutched her chest as she felt a sharp pain. Her parents had named her and she felt pain even though they beat her and such. She felt pain for thier loss in life. Then the boy said not to say sorry. "Oh....Was that.....wrong?" Her voice sounded shakiey and broken holding fear in it and she seemed ready to jump at any momnet. "Your not going.............To hit me right?" She asked stepping back eyeing each person.

"No it's not. Kids have gone missing. The teachers are zombies, aswell as the kids, the food sucks, the beds are hard, and they don't let you leave. We are supposed to ahve people come and take us out of here but no one comes. I have watched them run from the place as they walk along the streets. No one likes this place and I don't know why..........Yet." Yasha watched the boy and blinked. "You have nothing to fear yet but when you have been here most of you life you will belive me. And you'll find out too......." She held back tear of fear anf anger rubbing at her eyes.

"I personally would rather stay here than any other places I've been to. But thats just my oppinion."

with that Yoshiki sat down and began digging thru his handbag.

DON'T BE PERSISTANT!" Shikino shouted... she opened her eye's and noticed everyone staring at her. "Oh, great." Shikino took a few steps back and began to run to the shadows. Not watching where she was going she ran into a woman who worked there. "Where you going?" "My room." "You have a visitor." "Really?" Shikino turned around to look at all the children. The woman motioned for her to fallow... Shikino did as she was motioned. When she reached the office none other than her father was standing in there. "NOOOOOOOO!!!" Screaming so loud that she knew everyone herd.

"I'm not going back." Shikino back away into someone behind her. Not caring she just wanted to get out of there. "Shikino it's me your daddy." Shikino spat at the floor, and then shook her head no.

Yasha heard nothign when the girl scream but she did turn to watch Yoshiki run off. She sighed and followed seeing a girl look fearful. She watched silently and crossed her arms. She didn't know the girl and felt a pang of fear wondering what cause the out burst. She shrank away and whispered softly. "They aren't normal people and this is not a normal place." Then she started to weep, but not for herself for others.

Tatum stared at the tears forming in Yasha's eyes. Suddenly she didn't want to hear anymore.

"That's not what they told me," she said, getting up. "They told me I'd be safe here! They promised!"

She was beginning to cause a scene, but she didn't care. She had to convince herself that this was an orphanage for unlucky children. That was all.

"This...this place is just an orphanage! A stupid, empty, POINTLESS orphanage. You're lying! You're....just get away from me!"

Tears threatened to spill from Tatum's eyes. She wouldn't cry. She wouldn't.

'It's safe here,' she though as she ran to her room. 'They promised.'

Yasha jumped back ready to be hit. "I.......Why would I lie to my only friend. Promises are made to be broken." She whispered returning to her silent self once again. She had been hurt too many times and now this was it. She couldn't take it any more. Images of her parents flashed before her eyes, she felt light headed and dizzy, the people before her turned into her parents over and over again. She was alone in the wolrd where peopole hated her. Why not kill herself? She has nothing to live for! But because she couldn't stadnt eh idea of being her parents daughter and dieing at a young age.

"I will find a way out for all of yall. I promise!" And she disappared into the shadows.

She grabbed onto whoever it was for support... but they pushed her back to him. "I SAID NOO!" She pushed away and began to run, but she fell onto her face. She got up as quick as she could... but her father grabbed her and bring Shikino into a hug. "I missed you." "NOO! I don't want to go back!" She kicked him in that special area. She saw Yoshiki and ran to him. "Don't let him do it again!"

Yoshiki grasped Shikinos shoulders walking away and pulling her with him.

"Come on, he cant take you back if you dont want to go." he whispered.

He walked away never looking away from the man that stood before them.

Shikino shook violently... walking at a slow pace so her legs wouldn't give away. She looked back every few steps to see if her father was fallowing them... glanced only once up at Yoshiki and smiled worriedly up at him. She managed to say thank you .

Well, now that that's out of the way




Tatum sat in her room, her legs hanging over the bed.

What had she done? She may have finally finally made a friend, and now she was gone. She fell back onto the bed with a groan.

And what about that other girl? She'd heard someone screaming, and she'd run away? What if she was hurt?

'Will I EVER get the hang of this?' she asked herself, hugging her arms.

[Andoria]

Shikino began to calm down. She looked at Yoshiki. "You really don't remeber me?" She asked.

[Legato]

Yoshiki, finally looking to find a room, grabbed hold of his handbag and walked on ward.

He let his fingers trail along the walls of the hallways passing door by door till he had finally stopped.

Grasping the nob he opened it and there an empty room with few rays of light as dust particles floated past them making them visible. He dropped his bag as he walked in and looked around taking in every little detail of his new surroundings.

With that he let out a big sigh. "Closure". he muttered under his breath as he closed the door behind him.

Tatum walked down the hall looking for Shikino...the girl who'd screamed.


Even if she couldn't find Yasha, she'd find some way to make ammends for yelling at her.

Shikino stomps her foot at the sudden dissaperiance of Yoshiki. "That jerk!" Shikino walks past the office avoiding her father as soon as she was out of site she ran down the hall. Knocking on a door no one answered she walked in and saw nothing. She walked out the door and walked down the hall some more. She began to run again looking for that jerk. Shikino ran right into someone. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."

After some time of looking around his new room he plopped himself upon the bed as dust shot out from the old abandon bed. He laid across it letting his arms hang and his legs upon the wall and merely stared at the ceiling.

Hearing Shikino's stomps, Yoshiki pulls Sora into his room and closes the door instantly. Laughing a bit.

Laughing at the sight of the Guard, Yoshiki replies, " No worries I'll clean that up later."

"Ugh I give up!" Shikino shouts and at that exact same moment dogs begin to bark. "No." Eyes get big. "No." Backs up slowly. "No, No, No, No, No, No, No, Noo!" Begins running down hall. Instead of running away from the dog Shikino runs into him. "What they have dogs in this place?!" Runs away. Running smake dab into a wall. Turns around... still on the ground. "Good doggy... don't eat me."

"Don't worry honie, daddy will protect you." "I rather the dog eat me." Running to the dog. The dog snaps at her. "Ahhh!" The dog's hanging off her skirt. "Down Dumb dog!" "Honey all you need to say is that you'll come back home with me and daddy will get rid of the dog." "NOOOO! I will not go with you!" Shikino tore her own skirt to get away. Ran down the hall into an open door and slamed it shut.

Bunny skipped down the hall, after shaking the girl she played that mean trick on. She had recently gone into the Chef's place and swiped a sammich, well she didnt eat the nasty mushroom surprise. Could she help it if she was hungry.
She chewed thoughtfully as she saw a dog run down the hall whimpering. She bent down and called the dog to her. She pulled a bit of her sandwhich of and gave it to the dog. Bunny pet him lvongly. "I bet they were really mean to you!!" She said. SHe looked around and ran the dog to her room. "You be good, Ill figure out how to feed you" She said and ran off.
BUnny heard what sounded like a voice yelling at herself. SHe paused and opened a room. A girl was there, yelling. "You blew it, the only real friend you had" Bunny blinked. " HAving an arguement with yourself?" Bunny asked, leaning on the doorframe, and took a bite out of her sandwhich

Tatum, still looking for the girl who'd screamed before, jumped at the sound of another voice and turned quickly. A young girl stood in the door way, staring at her with wide blue eyes.

"I....No. I mean, I just..." she trailed of awkwardly before taking a big breath. "Hi. I'm Tatum. I'm new here...I got here last night. Who are you?"

She smiled at Tatum. She finished chewing and swallowing her sandwhich before she spoke. " Im bunny, you just got here this morning...how come I didnt see you...Ive been running around all day!!" She said smiling. "So, have you made any friends yet? I'll be your friend" Bunny said, remembering what she heard. "Well if you want someone as weird as me as your friend.
Bunny had always been cheerful. WHen her parents got in the car crash her whole world fell. She hadnt loved her other sisters, she remembered them locking her in a closet for one whole day. It was just easier for bunny to be cheerful then cause a whole scene with her sisters. She wasnt as happy when her parets died. When her sister went mute though, she didnt want that to heppen to her. So she remained bubbly.

And Tatum smiled. She hadn't had real friends since her parents death, especially when she moved around so much.

"I mean...yeah, sure. So....what do we do now?"

Yasha held the knife to her chest like she would a teddy bear. Like a teddy bear if drought her comfurt. She shuddered and wiped the long dried tears away. She slipped the knife into the hidden hole in the wall she made and redressed her self in a black mini-skirt, tights, a black tank top and a gray jecket. She once again sturggled to keepher tears under control. She walked out of her room slipping on her knee high black boots and pulling her hair into a bun. She pulled on some skull earrings, necklace, and rings and walked to the nearest tree.

She sat down and thought about her life and wondered how to make it up to her friend she made upset. "How." She muttered her thoughts. Which was not like her in any way. She almost never talked and she frowned. Why and why did these people do to her to make her speak? "How and what." She muttered again softly.

She was MIA for a while, but that's okay. Suddenly had been taken down by some sort of uncommon house cold, she was back on her feet and back in the kitchen. She had realized they had cleaned up the mess for her (that was probably how she had gotten sick in the first case, the food's just not healthy!) and she was grateful. Now if she could just find that little brat -er - sweet darling angel whom saved her face from being HORRIBLY disfigured and shove a god darned cupcake down her PRECIOUS -Ahem-, continuing, Mistress Chef placed a big, deep pan on the stove and turned it on. She made sure she avoided the HIGH setting this time and started to make soup for today's lunch.

Tatum froze up for a second. The girl looked upset. She almost turned to go back inside--and stopped. 'No. You owe her. Just go and say sorry, if anything.'

She quietly approached Yasha. Looking at her face she could tell Yasha had been crying.

"Hi..." Tatum began awkwardly. "Um....look...I...uh...I'm sorry. I'm sorry for yelling at you before. It was wrong. I was just...upset. I was thinking...well, if you're not mad at me maybe we could start over?"

She stood there, staring at Yasha, awkwardly waiting for an answer.

'Please,' she thought to herself. 'Let her like me. Please. Please...'

Shikino gradully walked out of the room. She looked down and up the hall a few times making sure it was safe for her to come out. Shikino sighed in releaf and walked out the room. She walked past three doors and turned to look behind herself again. "Good. Noone." She mumbled to herself. She walked out side and saw a few girls standing at a tree. She strained her eyes to see who it was. Finally giving up she walked to an empty spot by a bush and sat on the ground. "Aww man, I kinda missed my mom now." With that she crashed down onto the ground and put her hands underneath her head. "I wonder what Yoshiki's doing?" Shikino rolled on her side. "That jerk and should of stayed, and maybe I wouldn't of have be burned with the stove... that night." A tear escaped her eye. "Just a few more minutes would have saved me from my favorite scar." She almost felt like laughing this time. She rolled onto her back again and closed her eyes.

"I'm not upset...not at you. It's just...I came here to...to get away, you know? And then you told me...well, what you said scared me...and...I guess I overreacted....I'm really sorry. Will...you still be my friend?"


When Yasha gave no answer, Tatum knelt next to her. "Are you okay?"

"Dogggggggyyy!!!" She said frantically. Where was he? Did someone take him. Hmm she should name him.... "TOTALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!" She said louder. A small black head poked out from under her bed. Bunny screamed and the dog, now called total jumped on her, licking her face. SHe smiled, this was the first time she ever had something she could truly call her own. All her othe stuff had been her sisters once.

She shook her head and pulled her jacket off. She unrapped a bangage around her shoulder and blood spilled out of the large bit wound, rolled off her shoulder, and seeped into her clothes. "See that?"

Tatum glanced away only for a second to say goodbye to Bunny. When she turned back around, she saw Yasha's shoulder oozing blood.

"Oh, my gosh, what happened? Are you alright? Did someone hurt you? Who?" Suddenly she felt angry. If this was to be one of her only friends in this place, she wasn't about to let anything happen to her. "You need help, c'mon, let's go inside," she finished, heart pounding as she started to help Yasha to her feet.

Yasha jumped back and trimbled slightly redressing her wounds. "NO! I-I mean No. They did this. There are dogs around here. Evil, evil dogs. You can't see them from here or out side but when you try to leave they attack you! I am telling you they have thought of every damned way!" She whimpered softly when she put her jacket back on she sighed in relife. "Unless you want to end up the same way to not let them know you have seen this!" She cried and smiled darkly. "Cause I might just get so bad them have to send me to the hospitle. Then I'm home free! Right, right?"

"Uh...W-when..." She swallowed. She wanted to ask when Yasha had tried to get out....but obviously the other girl was sensitive about that topic. She changed the subject. "So...why are you here? I mean...what happened to YOUR parents."

As soon as the words were out, Tatum regretted it. 'Stupid!' she thought. 'NEVER ask a question like that at an orphanage....'

Bunny scooped up her dog and held him in her arms. She thought Of Tatum and Yasha out there and decided to go back to them. She held her dog firmly and ran down the hall.
Bunny smiled showing of her teeth as she came outside. "YOU GUYS!!! COME SEE MY DOG." She said running up to them. "His name is Total, isnt he cute" Bunny said smiling brightly. She picked up the dogs paw and waved it at them. "These people were beating it up and hurting him, but I, I saved him" She said. "well,he is soo cute, right?
