The sun was shining very brightly when I stepped out onto the porch that morning. I'm going to tell you about an adventure I had when I was young. Anyway it must have been like 6:30 in the morning when i woke up. I got dressed quickly and brushed my hair. I walked outside to water the flowers in the garden when there was a flash of white light and i couldn't see anything. When the light disappeared i was no longer standing in my back yard. I was in the middle of a large forest. I heard screams coming from the west. I ran towards the screams. A village was on fire and some giant dog type thing was smashing buildings. I looked around and picked up a long bow and a quiver of arrows. I hadn't realy shot arrows before but i was going to try to. I notched an arrow onto the bow and shot. The arrow hit the demon(thats what i would call it) and the arrow suddenly caught the whole dog thing on fire. The dog thing fell to the ground dead. It also disappeared. Some of the villagers started throwing water on the fires. A young girl walked up to me.
"Thank you for saving the village",the little girl said
"Your welcome",I whispered
Several other villagers walked up to me and said thank you. They invited me to stay at the village for a while. I agreed after all i had nothing else to do and i didn't know how to get home. Time passed quickly and so now it is night time. I am laying on a bed of straw on the floor. I looked up at the ceiling. I wanted to go home but that wouldn't happen for a long time yet. The next morning i woke up and walked outside. The sun was shining brightly.
In the distance i could see a dark cloud looming over a huge castle.
"What is that cloud?",I asked myself
"That is where the evil one lives",a boy about my age said walking up beside me.
"What is this evil one like?",I asked
"She's a type of socereress i think",the boy said
"Can you tell me where i am right now?",I asked
"Oh right your in the Kohaku village",the boy said
"No,no i mean what is this strange land called",I said
The boy looked at me funny. He studied me carefully.
"You don't know?",He asked
"No, I woke up yesterday morning and then there was this flash of light and i found myself here",I replied
"Interesting perhaps you are the prophecy child",the boy said
"Prophecy child?",I asked comfused
"Hundreds of years ago a prophecy was created that said a girl from another world would enter our world and defeat the evil socereress",The boy said
"I'm not a hereo",I said shaking my head
The boy looked at me sadly. He began walking away then turned back to look at me.
"You are the only person other then the socereress that has magic no one else can stand up to the soceress",The boy said and walked into a shop.
I sat there confused. I'm not realy the hereo type and besides that i am twelve years old. Not to mention i don't even know how to control the magic i have. I walked into the forest where i first got into this world yesterday. I wondered how big brother and father were managing without me there to cook. I laughed a little at that thought. I looked back at the huge castle in the distance. Then suddenly i wanted to defeat this socereress and save this land. I began walking west. I passed through the village and walked on a dirt road. I walked for a while until i saw several dead bodies on the ground. I looked at them carefully. I felt tears in my eyes. A man walked up to me.
"What happened to these people",I asked
"This is the work of the socereress",the man said sadly
I looked at him and felt his sadness.
"This was my family",the man said pointing to a woman and two little boys that lay on the ground dead.
"I'm sorry for what happened to them",i said
"What are you doing in these parts anyway?",the man asked
"I am going to kill the socereress",I replied
"Are you crazy you'll get yourself killed",the man said
"I have magic in my bones and that one kid called me the prophecy child",I replied
"Well then good luck against the socereress My lady",the man said
