Ahoy! Okay, the last RP I started flopped, but everyone loves pirates, so lets give this a try.

So, this takes place after the events of Dead Man's Chest. William Turner, Elizabeth Swan, Joshamee Gibbs, and whatever other unhappy survivors of the Black Pearl's destruction there happened to be have arrived in Tortuga and managed to get their hands on a ship, the Tide Piercer. Now, under the command of Captain Barbosa, they're looking for a crew to go and bring Captain Jack back to life. But can Barbosa really be trusted to bring Jack back to life? What lengths will Davy Jones go to in order to get his heart back? Will Norrington regain his honor? Let's find out!

YES CAPTAIN JACK WILL GET INVOLVED!!!! *gaspwheeze* And yes, there can be romance, both between PCs and NPCs. I want to see male and female characters. I will control actions and dialogue for Barbosa, Jack, Will, etc.

Okay, here's mine.

Name: Rose (short for Rosaline) Archer
Age: 20
Occupation: Pirate
Bio: Her father tried to trade her for his life when pirates attacked his ship. It didn't work. So Rose grew up around pirates from about the age of twelve and found she liked it better than being a normal corset-bound girl. The life's left her bitter and harsh, but she's got a good heart and loves her freedom. She's captained a few expeditions before and consequently has her name on Commodore James Norrington's hit-list.
Likes: Tormenting navymen just for the fun of seeing them frustrated, bar fights.
Dislikes: People who don't take her seriously because she's a woman, superstitions.

Okay, I'll set the scene then. Please remember what I said about 3+ sentences per post. *Ahem*

Rose generally did not enjoy her stays in Tortuga. Too often was she mistaken for a wench who had spent a couple months at sea. Not so. But she nevertheless got odd looks when she approached a pirate with a crew roster pinned to the table by a dagger.

"Who we got here?" she asked, checking the roster. It was empty.

"Joshamee Gibbs," he said with a big smile. He was an aging man, the scruff on his face going gray and the hair on top of his head thinning. He had the sort of flabby gut one would find on a man who likes his drink, and the messy clothes of a seasoned sailor. "First mate on board the Black Pearl, before she was dragged to the depths so recently, and the good Captain with her. Aye, 'tis a shame, poor Jack."

"Captain Jack Sparrow, dead?" she breathed. "God go with him," she said humbly, but then snapped back to the usual grin. She peered over the table, her shirt revealing just a little as she checked out the rest of the paperwork. It seemed legitimate... for pirate's stuff. The Tide Piercer...

"Aye, you got me," she said, grabbing a pen and scribbling the name Rosaline Archer. She smiled, swiped an ale from a wench's tray and replaced it with a coin. "I'll be glad to set sail, Mister Gibbs," she said, handing him the tankard and patting him on the shoulder. "Where do we meet the rest of the crew?"

"The private parlor," Mister Gibbs said, suddenly quite fond of the lass. "Right behind me, up the stairs, ye can't miss it."

The private parlor was a well-furnished room, for Tortuga at least. The couches were a bit worn, the feathers poking from the pillows, but it was comfortable. A decent oriental rug covered the floor, couches and chairs filled the room. Along the left wall was a fireplace with a pleasant blaze in it, and a large window showed a balcony overlooking the harbor. Still smiling, Rose leaned against the wall by the window, watching the chaos of the pirate town below and waiting for the rest of the crew to sign on or show up.

((Will, Elizabeth, Pintel, Ragetti, and Barbosa will come look at the crew once they've all signed on and come to the parlor.))

Black Skull walked up to Gibbs. His sister right behind him. He looked at the paper.
"I'll join if my sister can too",Black Skull said
Natalie shifted her feet and stared at Gibbs.
Black Skull looked at the ceiling then signed the paper.
"You sign now Nat",Black Skull said
Natalie nodded and went to sign the paper. She signed quickly in small writing. She hid behind Black Skull after that.

Bio: Her last crew which was her addopted family. They had found her at a wreckage of a ship just sinking under the water, she was about 12 and was floating on a platform, but the strange thing about how they had found her was a light had been shining on her through the smoke of the wreck, but she was also srounded by pure white feathers. She was wearing nomal clothes, but her back was huge holes to make someting fit. When they had asked her what had happened she didn't remember anything not even her name. The captain discied to call her Fallen Angel, but just Fallen for short. She was trained in everything on the ship until she turned 19 was when she left her family to find a new crew. She didn't know why, but she just had to find a new crew.

A young woman with fire like hair walks in she glances over to see people signing a sheet. She walked towards the line reading what the paper says, "Crew wanted for The Tide Piercer." The handwriting seem a little bit familiar, but then it hit her, "Pirate." She glances back up to the man and smiles, her silver eyes glinting, "I'll join your crew good sir." She signed her name, Fallen Angel, in quite good handwriting for a girl raised to be a pirate. She headed to the private area set in the back where everybody else was at.

((Okay, we've hit the fill limit on girl characters. Anyone who wants to join from now on has to play a guy. Princess Tiger, could you add a little to your posts? Once there's some character interaction single-sentence posts will be more common.))

Rose looked around at the newcomers. She walked over to the mirror, made sure she looked presentable, and made to talk to the fellow pirates. She saw only one gentleman in the room and society dictated that she speak to him first. She had just opened her mouth when another young man walked in. But everyone knew him. He was a bit tallish, dark curly hair and handsome features, wearing a new blue outfit with a sword at his hip. A young man, but a good pirate, and everyone knew it: William Turner.

He paused a moment, seeing one man in a room full of women. "This is the crew of the Tide Piercer?" he asked with a slight crease in his brow. His voice was that of a man, but it had a soft quality to it that would make many women swoon.

Rose nodded to him. "We signed the roster," she said with quiet confidence. "You can see for yourself. I'm Rosaline Archer. People call me Rose."

He seemed to relax a bit, coming into the room and letting the door swing shut again. "Will Turner," he said, a warm smile on his face.
