Katherine roamed the halls of the apartments untill she found hers, "this is it," she said putting down her bags and taking out her key. Slowly unlocking the door she picked up her bags again and watched as some apples fell out onto the floor, "wo-woops" she said quickly running into the apartment and putting all her stuff down before running back out to gather up all the lost fruit.

Katherine gathered up the apples in her arms, she bent her head down and bit into one. She felt the juice run down the sides of her mouth, smiling as only she could with an apple in her mouth. Leaving the door open for any nice neighbors, she put the rest of the apples in the sink to clean them as she munched on the one she had.

She turns toward the door beside hers, forgetting all about going into her appartments, and knocks on the open door of her neighbour. maybe I can still make a friend or too. "Hello? Katherine hears a voice outside and looks toward the door as she dries an apple, "oh hello, nice to meet you," she puts down the apple and dries her hands with the towel before going to shake Kat's hand. "Hello, i'm new here, my name is Katherine Snickett and you are?" She said taking Kats hand.

Mizuki looked at the door when she heard Mavrick then she smiled & shook her head.She reached down on her bed then grabbed the old style choker then put it on.She looked at the ground then grabbed the brown boots then put her feet in each one then started to zip them up.She walked over to her dresser then grabbed a hair tie & tied her long glossy black hair into a low pony tail.She looked up at her reflection then sighed when she saw herself wearing this:

"You mean... Food? That would be great! In truth, I havent eaten anything half-decent in almost a year!" Kat blushes again, following Katherine into her apartments. "How can you afford anything? I can never find any good worked. Though maybe that's because of these," she said, pointing to her ears. "I can only get one-time jobs every once in a while, enoguh to pay for a room here, and enough food to keep me going. Truth me told, I've been saving up to come here for 6 months." Her face fell, saddened. "My father was horrible, but I loved him. Sadly he never loved me, and when he died he didn't leave me a cent."

"I'm sorry! Here you are, welcoming me into your home and I'm rambling about my past. So sorry!"

"no, there is no problem, I want to learn about you" Katherine smiles sweetly and starts unloading the bags, "whatever you want, you can have, really i'm suprised that you cant find work with those ears, you'd be a good cosplayer," she bit into her apple and leaned against the table. "I'm in the arts, not computer, mind you but good old fashioned painting," She looks at her paintings on the walls and smiles happily with herself.

"Wow these are amazing!" Kat exclaims, rushing over to look at the artwork. "Did you really paint all these? My talents, sadly, don't lie in the arts. I'm more of a... Outdoors cat," she says with a small laugh. "I've had to live practically in the streets for the past year. You learn stealth, silence, and let's just say I can scale a tall building pretty easily with these legs." Kat smiles, finally feeling like she was accepted. "Thanks again for letting me come in here. Are you sure I can have anything here, because an apple would be amazing right about now," she says with another smile.

"Sure, I make a lot of money off these artworks so I can afford it, go ahead, I got this apartment because I needed one close to town, the comute is faster" Katherine threw an apple to Kat gently.

Kat catches the apple with ease and takes a bite. It's sweet, which is something she hasn't tasted in ages. "Thanks. So, I know you're new here too and all, but do you happen to know anything about this place? Such as whether they're hiring staff members? My part-time job isn't cutting it. Bussing tables in an underground club for half-humans where everyone other then me seems to be drunk isn't exactly the best. I don't know how I've managed to survive so far," Kat let out a weak laugh and forced a smile. "I was going to ask Mizuki earlier, but she ran off before I got the chance!"

"Hmm, another person I have not yet met, I am as clueless as you on the subject of Angelic Apartments, maybe you could ask the owner or something?" Katherine finished off her apple and tossed it into a trash bin, she sat down on her couch and turned on the radio to her favorite jazz station. "life is good" She said smiling as she leaned back in the couch, "I will have hard times but these are the moments I live for,".

Still looking at Yukiko, she held her hand out in front of her, eyes glowing brighter as blue flames traveled down her arm until she held a bright ball of flame over her palm. Calling Sai to her, she set the ball over his head. His eyes, too, glowed indigo as he bumped the ball with his head and flicked it back to Kya with his tail. She caught it, and squeezed her hand into a fist. When she opened her hand, the flame was gone.

"That's why," she answered.
