"I'm home..." she said in a slightly tired voice as she rubbed her eyes and tried to get the black tears to come off her cheeks which would not go away. "Damnit..." she growled then rubbed harder but it still wouldn't come off.

Neco opened her eyes when she was absolutely sure he was asleep. Then she crawled out of the bed, careful not to wake him up, and quietly walked out into the hall. She sighed softly and hugged arms around herself. It was cold to her. Neco shook her head and walked downstairs and into the kitchen. ' "I am truly happy for the first time." That's what he said, but how can I be sure? How do I know he wasn't happier in heaven, with his son???' She pushed back tears and got a glass of water.
