Rain sat up, her eyes ablaze as she glared at him. 'YES. I know what she's been through so don't even start on that! And I didn't choose to become this size. I had no desire whatsoever to become a panther...tiger....thing!! Also, I haven't been gone. I've been here the entire time! It's just no one bothered to even look for me! Not even you.' She felt a lump in her throat as she hopped off the couch and padded away. She didn't even care that she had left deep claw marks in the cusion. (sp?)

Why was she crying on Kya's shoulder? And on Mo's? Where have you been, huh? We're all more than fully aware you don't like this change, but don't take it out on her, or me or the rest of us. That's NOT your job.' He paused for a breath ((not that you need breath when you're thinking all your words)), his green eyes holding her blue (?) ones. He realized he was growling a bit. He wasn't really angry, just....intense. Well....maybe a little angry. The little judgemental hypocrite...

'And...and don't say I didn't look for you. I wanted to...but...' He stopped. 'The point is, you weren't there for her, because you were too busy moping over yourself.'

Rain slashed his cheek with her talon-like claws. ((Basically the equivilant of a *****-slap. Except for tigers. lol)) 'Don't. You. Dare.' Her eyes narrowed dangerously. 'Do you know how excruciating it is for me to know she's somewhere crying? Do you know how hard it was for me to stay away and make her depend on her other friends?? I had to. Do you know why? No, of course not. You're too busy making a perfect ass of yourself. I stayed away because Neko and Mo are getting married. Married. Just those two. If she came to me with every problem that she had, isolating herself from all other people, she wouldn't have any friends. None at all. She would probably break-up with Mo aswell because she would be spending all her time with me. She's never once had a normal life, that's all I'm trying to give her. In a marriage there are two people. Just two. Not two people and a tiger-panther thing who the wife spends practically every moment of the day with!' Rain was shaking with rage or misery. She couldn't really tell.

'And yes. I don't like this change because I had no choice in it. How would you like to be changed, very painfully might I add, into a giant?? You wouldn't. Especially if you didn't have a choice in the matter and it was forced on you! I have the right to mope damnit!! So don't even try to pin me with all this! And one last thing,' Rain pushed past him roughly then looked back. Blue eyes had never looked more artic, 'I know for a fact you didn't look for me. You didn't even show the urge as you lounged around the apartments like you owned them. I know because I was watching. I watched everyone and from what I saw, Neko was the only who even missed me. And that's only because I've been with her for practically all her life. And even then, she didn't look for me but once. For about ten minutes.' She growled and started padding off angrily again.

Sai stared after her for a moment. He was vaguely aware he was bleeding, bu that pain was nothing compared to the mental kick in the stomach he'd just received. There were so many things..about what she'd just said.

Stupid, he told himself. Stupid. She's hurting. A lot. How could you? How would you feel if Kya up and left with some guy? The realization came that he wouldn't even let her do that. Could he possibly be keeping too tight a leash? No. Not after what she'd been through. She couldn't handle it, she couldn't handle anything, by herself.

Sai pushed these thoughts down stubbornly. 'Don't try to pretend you know everything about me,' he thought. I have my reasons for not looking. And if you're gonna ***** about all the problems in your life and NOT tell me about it, then best not even talk to me, since you can't seem to control yourself, anyway.

Upstairs, Kya was aware of an arguement going on downstairs. A very heated arguement. She was tempted to go break it up, especially after she felt Sai get hurt, but she didn't think it'd be a great idea to get between to feuding tigers.

Suddenly, just as she was about to go check to see if Neko could feel/hear anything, she heard it. She wasn't meant to, she knew, but she had. And it pierced like a re hot knife to the heart.

She couldn't handle it, she couldn't handle anything, by herself.

Rain darted through the woods, not paying attention to where she was going and especially not caring if she got lost. 'If they don't care, then neither will I....It doesn't matter anyway.' She growled and forced herself to run faster, planning on maiming a tree to help vent her rage and pain.

Neko sat up, holding her head in her hands. She had a horrible headache for some reason and she felt a bit angry. Although she had no clue why.

Sai growled loudly, and absent mindly raked his claws down the nearest curtains. ((Poor Mizuki....They're tearing up the place.)) He paced back and forth angrily. It was snowing outside, too.

Whatever, he thought to himself. Her fault for being...so stupid. She's not my problem. He tried to lay down and take a nap, to relax. But he couldn't. He snarled again and ran upstairs.

*Kya!* he called, clawing at their door. *Kya, hurry. Come on, it's Rain.*

*Go. Away.*

Sai backed up in surprise at the anger in her thought-voice. *Wha-?*

*I said GO AWAY. Why is that so hard to understand?*

Kya appeared at the door, suddenly, her normally green eyes blazing in violet fury. "What's WRONG with me?" she screamed at him. "I heard what you said!I'm INCAPABLE! Or at least my best friend thinks I am. How could you? You're not my mom, and you're not my f***ing babysitter. GO AWAY." And she slammed the door.

Sai sat, confused and depressed, for a moment. How had he managed to alienate to....female beings in ten minutes? It was all he could do not to fall to the ground and just sleep his problems away. He dragged himself to Neko's room.

*Neko. Please tell me you're not mad at me?*

Rain ignored the snow as she violently attacked the largest tree she could find, roaring as loud as she could. Although the sound that came out of her throat sounded more like rolling thunder than any noise an animal could make. They rebounded all around her as she kept slashing the tree non-stop, her fury and heart-break seemingly only to fuel her angry attacks.

Neko shook her head and stood up, opening the door. "W-what? Why would I be mad at you?" She asked, finally becoming aware of her disheveled appearance. She shrugged and pushed her hair out of her face.

Rain growled and stepped back, inspecting her work. The tree was...well, it wasn't a tree anymore. Although she still wasn't satisfied. She moved on to another large tree and started clawing at it with every ounce of strength she had.

Rain roared again, enjoying the way the unmistakable sound echoed all around her as her relentless attacks on the tree increased.

The remote laid on the coffee table next to a soda can halfway drank out of with drops of it's red liquid on the top. Two sets of eyes stared at the television after running in with laughter breaking the silence. The dark blue eyes stared without blinking as the other strange purple colored eyes stared as well with not a word spoke to interrubt the news reporter who looked as if she was about to burst out into tears.

"... It happened at exactly 12:00... Noon..." the red haired woman spoke in soft words as she held up the microphone infront of the camara. "The Angel died in a terrible car crash, killing her instantly." she finally managed to get out, tightly shuting her eyes to keep the tears.

"Mama?..."

Little Emi fell to her knees and let out a sob then covered her eyes with tears flowing as she let out little cries at the news. Daichi stood still and dropped his bag that he held in his left hand and stared at the television with an expression of disbelief. "Moma...? Moma?" he spoke in a shakey voice as his hands moved up to his eyes then covered them as he joined Emi in the crying. "No, Moma! No! No! NO! MOMA!" he cried out while shaking as Emi sobbed next to him.

The two children cried together, not even stopping to breath sometimes. Emi began to hiccup and Daichi started to slam his fists on the ground. "No, Moma! No, no, no!" Daichi cried out still as he shook. "I can't believe she's gone... She's really gone..." Emi studdered and Daichi whipped around and glared at her. "Shut up! No she's not! No she's not!" Daichi cried and Emi shook her head at him.

"Why are you yelling at her...?" a soft voice spoke and the two children looked to see a girl with short, light blue hair and pale skin with odd purple eyes and a strange outfit with a backpack on. "BECAUSE! Moma's dead!" emi cried out and Daichi shot a glare at her. "Shut up! No she's not!"

"Oh, you shut up! You know she is!" Emi shouted back at him and Daichi bit his lip to stop it from trembling. "No she's-" Daichi began but the girl stopped him with a, "No, I'm not."

"Moma?"

"No, you're not Moma! Moma had long black hair and blue eyes and not as pale skin! And-" Daichi began to shout but the blue haired girl kneeled down with a smile. "And she had wings..." the pale girl said with a smile and Daichi's eyes grew wide. "You're not Moma! Her voice wasn't as soft either!" he shouted out and Emi got to her feet. "Mizuki?" she spoke and the blue haired girl nodded.

"That's not Moma!" Daichi shouted out but the pale girl sighed. "I couldn't handle all the work... the apartments, school, singing, and taking care of you... I had to make some changes." the pale girl said in her soft voice. "I don't believe you!" Daichi shouted out and the pale girl just stared at him with her light purple eyes. "I had to change my appearance so when I walked down the street people did not get angery with me." she told then smiled. "I'm Mizuki, I swear."

Mavrick was in his room on his back looking up at the ceiling. He was listening to his new song on the radio, feeling accomplished.. and throwing a ball in the air when he heard the announcement.

As for my hair, it'll go back to normal in a couple of years." she added but was looking at Daichi.

She nodded then started filling them out like crazy. I'm sick of being a problem... I'm tired of always being annoying... It's sickening... For now on I won't be that way ever again! I'm going to stay out of trouble and just go back to being the old Mizuki just without the wings... I'm just going to go on with my work and cook, clean, study, and make sure everyone's happy.

Kya came down the stairs, drying her hair with a big blue towel. She could feel Sai wasn't anywhere in the building. Fine. She liked it that way. She didn't need him to make herself a sandwich.

Now for dinner..." Mizuki said then marched towards the kitchen and dug through the cabnets then slammed a pot of the stove.

Sai stood back for a moment, until he realized how stubborn Rain was being. Truth was, he didn't like seeing her like that. Even though she had grown, her lean black form looked frail against the white snow. He could see her shivers from where he stood. He was transported back to another time...another girl coming upon her big, furry friend lying in the cold....He shook his head. Rain. That was what mattered now. Getting her back.

He trotted up to her and knelt so he was in her face. 'Don't be stupid,' he thought. 'She's scared for you. Let me help you. Please. For her sake.' He tried hard not to remember Kya's fear when he had.....He shook his head again.

Kya blinked and her eyes went green. "Wha...what? Wow. This will definately take some...getting used to." She looked at Mizuki, then Daichi, then back to Mizuki. Then she burst out laughing. "I almost....Wow."

"You almost what, Auntie Kya?" Daichi said and looked up at her then at Mizuki. "I think Moma's pretty but she's always been pretty... I like the old her better tho'." Daichi said then tugged on Kya's shirt. "The eyes freak me out sorta..." he whispered and Mizuki chuckled. "This is my last change, I promise." she said.

Sai stood back for a moment, until he realized how stubborn Rain was being. Truth was, he didn't like seeing her like that. Even though she had grown, her lean black form looked frail against the white snow. He could see her shivers from where he stood. He was transported back to another time...another girl coming upon her big, furry friend lying in the cold....He shook his head. Rain. That was what mattered now. Getting her back.

He trotted up to her and knelt so he was in her face. 'Don't be stupid,' he thought. 'She's scared for you. Let me help you. Please. For her sake.' He tried hard not to remember Kya's fear when he had.....He shook his head again.
Rain turned her gaze to Sai, glaring at him heatedly. She used the last of her strength to roar at him, although it sounded more like a whimper. 'You didn't care before, Sai, so you shouldn't care now. Go away.' She thought to him angrily, excluding Neko from their conversation. Her eyes narrowed and her claws dug into the ground defiently.

She turned to look at Sai sharply. "Sai, get ready. I can't carry her; she's too heavy and you're the only one here who can. She's going to try to fight aswell, I know her stubborn ass well enough to know she is, but she's weak. Just keep her on your back until we get to the apartments, got it?"

Mavrick rolled up another ball of snow and chucked it at his brother. He narrowly missed.

Rain didn't answer. Partly because she was refusing to talk to him at the moment and partly because she didn't think she even think she could. All her strength had abandoned her.

Neko continued marching toward the apartments without stopping or speaking. She was too busy trying to think up good things to yell at Rain.

Kya was sitting half asleep at the kitchen table, trying to force her mind to figure out why she was suddenly so tired...and cold.

The two ran back to the front of the building.


''WUAHH my frikkin ears are cold.'' Mavrick complained.

''..No youve done it.'' Mavricks brows knitted. He ran tword Raffael. Raffy was a laughing foo. Eventually they ended up in a wooded area with a shack near by.

Raffael climbed up a pile of wood that was stacked behind the shed and pulled himself unto the roof of it. Mavrick trried to do the same, but forgot he was with out cat like ness and did not take caution like Waffle did.

He was on top of the pile when the pieces of wood started to fall. He jumped up and grabbed on to the ledge of the shed and pulled himself up.

''..Nice one.'' Raffael teased flicking Mavs red nose.

''Eh heh.'' he paused.. A pile of snow fell from a near by tree onto the roof. ''****.'' the shed started to shake and soon collapsed..

''Wuaaahh!'' Mavrick and Raffael grabbed each other and fell with the roof.

April walked down the stairs she was dizzy and colapsed on the ground at the end of the stairs.

Kya thought vaguely that she should be worried...but she couldn't pinpoint about what. Thought drifted away like a spider's web on the wind, and she went to sleep again, her head on her arms, her arms still on the kitchen table.

Rain didn't hear any of this, for she was already asleep. The heat of the fire and the apartments had lulled her into slumber.

Kya left the kitchen, passing Sai and Neko on the way. She frowned. Sai was angry...and using her power. Which would explain the cold and exhaustion. And Rain...Rain was lying on the couch under a ton of blankets. Without thinking, she walked toward them.

Rain internally flinched with every word, feeling as if someone was kicking her multiple times. She didn't think any other words had ever hurt as much as those. 'I'm....sorry.......' She withdrew the spoon from the pot of noodles then placed it gently on the counter.

"I'm sorry..." she said in her new soft voice.

"But that is one of the most stupidest things I think I have ever heard." she finally said and looked at April with a serious expression.

"No one hates you, what reasons would we have to hate you? And you're not ignored, that's just incredilbly stupid as well. And you moving is not going to solve anything at all!" Mizuki told her with her serious expression still on her face.

"As for no one going out with you... There are many in here with no one, like that gives a reason. Stupid... You've just got to put yourself out there and hope that they like you then if nothing happens then it's just not meant to be and you should give up... Just wait and something might happen..." Mizuki said then bit her lip.

"And now I've probably made you mad..." she muttered then nodded and bowed her head. "I'm sorry!"

Mizuki's eyes fluttered open as she awoke from her slumber. "Mmm..." she groaned from the tired feel. She sat up from her bed and looked at her feet tangled in the white sheets. She reached then rubbed her tired eyes bit stopped when she felt her hair brush against her arm. "Hm?" she said then looked to see her hair long and black again. "DAMNIT!" she shouted in her normal voice. "Damn side effects of being an angel..." she muttered and stared at the ceiling after falling back.

Neko cursed under her breath, sitting up. 'Damnit...can't sleep.' She sighed and stood up, walking over to the shards of glass on her floor and starting to pick them up.

Neco walked into the kitchen, her hands gingerlly holding the tiny peices of glass that threatened to bite into her skin at any moment. Although it didn't really matter is she cut herself, she could just heal her wounds....like she did about five times going down the stairs.

After that, Mavrick ,Raffael, Mo and his son Alex came to see what was the matter. Mo got in a physical fight with Suki, Kya came and we split up the fight." She listed, keeping her eyes strait ahead as they walked.
