Sai glanced at her (Rain) and purred proudly. 'I know, right? C'mon. I'll show you our swimming hole...thing.'

Kya rolled over in bed, yawned...and almost gagged. "What...? It....feels like I haven't brushed my teeth in four months!" And with that, she jumped up and headed into the bathroom to shower.

Rain blinked multiple times, snapping out of her slightly gawking daze. 'Oh! Err, sure. OK. Lead the way..'

Neko yawned and stretched as she sat up, rubbing her eyes, "Wow, that was a long nap..." she muttered. She had been laying on one of the 3758203957829024754 kajillion couches, napping, for...awhile. She muttered something else and jogged to the bathroom to "freshen up".

Sai took off, the warm other-earthly sun making him trot. He wished Kya were here; he felt as though he hadn't seen her in some time.

"Kya and me would go there all the time. I would always get in trouble for swimming with her. We were never supposed to be friends. I wasn't supposed to talk to her, except to say 'Run, Miss. Hide, Miss. Move, Miss.' She...didn't like it. Neither did I."

Rain followed, haing to rush to catch up with his long, quick stride. "Huh..So you were just suppoed to be her protector, nothing more?" she asked nonchalantly, trying not to sound too interested.

Neko rolled her shoulders as she stepped out of the bathroom, fresh and clean. Her stomach grumbled in complaint. "Ueghh...." She sighed and walked to the fridge, blinking in surprise at the note.

"Gone to the beach. :)

"Way to leave a girl out," Neko mumbled as she looked around. "Looks like everyone else has gone out, too. Wow. I wonder how long I've been asleep....?" She shrugged and grabbed a couple cold sandwiches from the fridge and headed upstairs to change. She was ghostly pale and needed a tan anyway.

'Pretty much. Hardly even that. It's not like she needed me. I remember once, I'd left her alone, just for a second, at the park, or something, and this guy--' Sai stopped, uncomfortable. Guilty. He'd never shared that memory with anyone. 'Uh...nevermind. But anyway, what else could I be but her friend? There....there were no real threats...until the assassination, but they sent us both away after that, and...you know the rest.'

Rain raised an eyebrow when he cut off the rest of the memory, extremely curious. She barely refrained from asking- though she planned to later. 'I understand what you mean...It was...sort of like that with Neko and I.' She shook her head slightly to dispell the memories that statement brought on and trotted a bit faster. 'So, are we anywhere near this swimming hole- thing?' she asked to change the subject.

'Ish. Why ya tired?' Sai's voice teased, but he was serious. Visitors weren't always used to this world's hotter sun. He and Kya, with their powers, thrived, but a big cat decked out in black might suffer...

'I'll live,' Rain retorted sharply, scowling at him. The hot sun bore down heavily on her onyx fur, making her pant a bit, but she was too stubborn to actually admit that she was becoming slightly tired- especially to him.

Neko walked out into the street, decked out in a one-piece black and red bathing suit with blue jean capris over it. The bathing suit dove in a sharp V shape down her back so her wings could move comfortably. Her coal-black ears were uncovered as well and held up a pair of darkly tinted sunglasses that rested on the top of her head. Neko carried a towel and another sandwich to munch on as she walked. She strolled down to the beach, ignoring the odd looks she recieved.

I got up around two/three in the afternoon yesterday, after staying up until around two-thirty AM, and then proceeded to stay up until now: seven-ten in the morning. ^^ I played on the computer from like nine-thirty (PM, yesterday) to around five-thirty (AM, today) then cleaned the kitchen, started two loads of laundry, and straightened up the living room. I'm just now sitting back down to the comp.}

Basically, she was just stepping....rolling of the sidewalk too early, and the bus was turning to late, and I guess she thought she could make it around him, but when the bus pulled forward to round the corner, he cut really close to the side walk (wide turn) where she was.....No big deal, but you just don't see that here. Allo hot baby let's go to the beach!" Raffael walked in so he dropped to his butt and smiled innocently.

{Into the evil fairy woods where goblins tried to eat me but then the underwear knomes came out of the woodwork and saved me and then took me to the little blue smurfs to hide me, but I accidentally smushed that scary, too-happy little girly one so they kicked me out, and then the knomes had to take me to Neverland, but no one would accept me there 'cause Peter was out snorting cok- I mean, "fairy dust" and Tinkerbell was high and all the Lost Boys were binge drinking and starting to "experiment" and I didn't want any part of that so I had to leave, and then the knomes gave up and kicked me into the sky and I passed through a tornado where Todo bit me and that evil red-headed prep gave me a pamphlet for something or another and then I flew over the rainbow in a big, red air balloon and fell right through the roof and second floor of an old cottage place where I met Goldilocks, who looked suspiciously like the blue smurfette that I accidentally killed, and then I had to run away 'cause right then the bear family and their cousins, the Bernstein Bears, came in with really big guns and beer so I ran and I ran and met Little Red Ridinghood, who gave some good baking tips before she was eaten by her grandma and the wolf was killed by the lumber jack by mistake, and then I ran away again only to meet the Big Bad Wolf, who was trying to get to those coniving little piggies who owed him money, and then I ran again and ended up in Wonderland and helped the white rabbit to his "very important date" and kicked Alice back out of the tree hole with a poisened apple to give to the old crone, curtosy {I'm too tired to spell it right} of Snow White and the seven stages of crack addiction and then I witnessed stupidity killing the cat and framing curiosity, only to have satisfation bring the cat back to life, and then I faded away and now I'm never taking acid again.

Different colored streamers covered the ground along with cans and cans of a wide selection of sodas to accompany the streamers and empty pizza boxes. The sterio speakers only bought for the one day of the day Angelic Apartments was born's speakers were blown and the smell of smoke was still in the air from a forgotten fryer that burnt some sort of fish that Mizuki was cooking that night, but, luckily, she was able to attack it with a bottle of water to put out the flame that came. Everything was quiet and no one was in sight and not a sound was made in the silent Apartments that was now over one year old.

As to where the owner was, Mizuki was asleep with her head laid on the front desk, slowly sliding out of her stool that held her sleeping form up from meeting the ground. Her long hair was tangled in her wings' silver feathers and she slept peacefully and quitely, not making a sound, the sun pouring in from the open doors to the home of many shining down in her face to make her eyes flinch a little from almost being disturbed of her slumber.

Neko groaned and sat up on her bed, her legs bent in the butterfly position, her feet touching. She blinked slowly and flicked her ears as she slowly looked around; her hair was in a hopelessly tangled mat around her shoulders and it looked as if it might bite anyone who came near it with a brush or scissors.

"....Time for lunch," she stated after a minute. Standing, Neko adjusted her pj bottoms and short tank top. Then she bounded out of her room, suddenly full of energy, towards the stairs.

The entire time everyone had been away--even Rain was gone to visit the town where they used to live, just to see Mimi's {I dun 'member her name} grave--she'd stayed here. She'd napped mostly--More like hibernated, Neko thought with a small grin--and listened to music, eating out usually.

She hummed under her breath as she darted down the steps, tripping on the last one. "Eeep!" Flailing her arms, wings, too, she fought not to fall. Unfortunately, she failed...miserably. Neko stumbled forward and half turned, falling down on her butt. "Owww~" she whined softly; a smile curved her lips and she snickered at herself. She didn't even notice the audience to her extrordinarily smooth moves.

"OH MY GAWWDDD THIS IS COMPLETELY DISGUSTINGGG." Mavricks voice called out. "I FELL IN SOME THING..It kind of smells like chees-- OH LORD ITS SH_IT. GET ME OUTTA HERE." Mav bellowed.

Raffael walked slowly down the hill. "Eek it really is slippery.." he mummbled as he neared his brother. He stopped and covered his nose. His eyes widened "This smell is intense."

"I KNOW. HHeeellppp." Mavrick whined, sitting in a large area of crap..He held his arms out.

"No way! I'm getting out of here." Raffael turned around..He looked back up the hill, where Pumpkin shot him a death glare. He turned around quickly. "Ah heh..I guess it can't be helped.." He walked slowly to where Mav was and put out his arm, staying well on the side of ground which contained grass.

"I can't reaaaaaaach...Closer!" Mavrick stretched out his arm.

"Ugh you're a bother.." Raffael said inching closer.

"You have to step in it a little bit..It's no good you wont be able to pull me up like that any way!" Mavrick said in a cranky voice.

"Yeah yeah.." Raffael said. He stepped in the icky stuff, his sneaker automatically sinking in a little. "Ahhhh disgusting.."

"I don't wanna slip and end up like you." Raffael said. Mavrick growled and grabbed Raffaels arm.
