Raffael looked in his eyes, then smoooched him again. '' I think I should put some clothes on.'' he pickedu p his dirty ones and went away , to his room.

Chachi waved, then went to his own room, to feed Fonzie.

Raffael turned around. A little embarased he was just in a towel. ''Yes?'' he asked.

Mavrick stood at the forest edge. Waiting just incase. He lit a ciggy. and against the rain smoked leaned against the tree. (UH OH SECRET HABIT)

Kya got about halfway out of the forest and collasped panting. Sai was too heavy, especially considering she'd hardly eaten since he'd left.

*Leave me here and go get help,* Sai insisted, only half concious.

*NO! I just found you. I'm never letting you out of my sight again. I'll get you home, Sai, even if it takes a week.*

*You won't last out here a week,* he said, reffering to her weakness against coldness and rain.

*Well then at least I'll die with you,* she answered softly. Panting, she tried to life him again...and fell. She wanted to cry. They really were going to die out there.

"Help," she called out softly, knowing no one would answer. "Someone help us, please."

Kya stared at Mavrick disbelieving. "Thank you," was all she could manage. Somehow, the three of them got back to the apartment (where Mavrick suddenly went invisible and mute :D ), all wet to the bone.

"Thank you so much," she said to him, her teeth chattering. "I'll take him." She managed to get back up to her room, where she diposited the huge, wet tiger in the bath tub and turned on the hot water. She let him lay there under the warm stream until he stopped shaking, combing her hand through his long wet fur, tears still streaming down her face. He looked unharmed, but she'd have to wait until he woke up to really talk about what had happened.

"They're back," he'd said. She shuddered, and not from cold. How could they have found her here? What did they want? She shook her head. She couldn't worry about that now ((STALLING)).

She left Sai in the tub, and grabbed several towels to dry him off. Finally, dry and warm, she moved him to the shag rug (conveniently placed) next to her bed and piled blankets on top of him. She sat next to the sleeping pile, watching him for a while, the only thought crossing her mind: He's back.

'' Uhm.. I just got outta the shower.'' Raffael explained (sorry if you left XD)

Mavrick walked up to his room, and looked distastfully at himself in the mirror.

''Mm.. lookit you..'' he began to peel off his clothes. He went to his bed and pulled the sheets off and wrapped himself in them and then sat against the wall.

After a while, Sai blinked and woke up.

*Are....you alright?* Kya asked nervously. Please, please PLEASE be alright...

*I'm...fine,* he answered gently, looking at her. He nuzzled her knee. *I missed you so much.* He looked at her, his ragged charge, her face tear stained, her hair dripping, her shoulders shaking with cold and her eyes bright with joy and tears. He rose and nuzzled her face, purring affectionately. *You haven't showered yet?*

*I was worried about you.*

*Go dry off. You're shaking.*

*No. I won't leave you-*

Sai growled and than pressed his furry head against her shoulder lovingly. *I'm fine,* he said reassuringly. *You'll get sick. You think I haven't been watching you? You haven't eaten in days, and you slept in wet clothes on a couch last night. C'mon, Kya. I'll be right here when you get out. I promise.*

Reluctantly, Kya stodd and grabbed a pair of sweats and a t-shirt and went into the bathroom.

When she came out, she was much warmer and dry, too boot. Suddenly sleepy, she climbed in bed and didn't protest when she felt Sai climb onto the foot of the bed.

"I love you," she muttered sleepily.

*I know," he said, and she could feel his purring all the way up to her head.

Mavrick not wanting to lose the warmth of his blankets went by Kyas room and listened. Every one sounded sleeping and he supposed that was good. He continued to the kitchen and began to make himself some warm food.

She groaned and rolled over. He frowned slightly, then left her to go find someone to feed him. He pushed open the door, and trotted gaily down the stairs and into the kitchen.

*Sai,* she thought. *I'm hungry. Let's get something to eat.* She started to get up and saw Sai was nowhere insight. Her heart was suddenly in her throat.

*I'm downstairs. Can you make it down?*

*Yeah,* she answered, relieved. *Be right there.* She grabbed the blanket off her bed and wrapped herself in it, still shivering slightly. It was stupid to have spent so much time in the cold rain, but it had been worth it.

She stumbled down the stairs and into the kitchen. Sai was there....with Mavrick. "Oh!" she said, surprised. "Sorry...was he bugging you? Sorry...I...didn't know." She sat down at the table, feeling drained from walking down the stairs.

"C'mere, Sai. Leave him alone."

Within minutes she had prepared a sub sandwich for herself. She rummaged in the cabinet and pulled out a big bag of chips. Going to the fridge, she pulled out one of the steaks she'd bought for Sai and a soda for herself. Tossing the meat to Sai, she sat down again.

*So,* she thought as she ate. *What exactly were you guys talking about when I came down?*

*Nothing really.*

*Nothing?* she said, looking under the table at him. *I've lived with you for 16 years, and you don't think I know when you're lying? What were you talking about?*

Sai took a big breath--she felt his body rise and fall under her feet. It was no use trying to lie. *I....told him.*

Kya finished her sandwich and put her dish in the sink. She was suddenly tired.

"Let's go," she said to Sai, leading the way upstairs.

In her room, she sat on her bed, legs crossed, and looked at Sai.

*We gotta talk,* she said.

*Yes.*

*You said....they're back again. What does that mean? Do we have to run again? I like it here. I have....friends.*

*Kya, you know we can't do that. They've already come after you once, and Mavrick or no, I don't know how long I can keep them off.*

*So I'll start training again! I can help you! We can't leave here yet. We just got here!*

Sai looked at her like he wanted to say something, but decided against it. *I think we should go to bed,* he said finally. *It's been a long day.*

Kya stared at him, knowing what he was thinking. But she didn't want to argue again, so she'll lay down and went to sleep.

''Hey. Good morning.'' he said, his face was sleepy.

Chachi looked at Raffael and smiled a little. "Hello." He said.

Raffael chuckled. '' Mavrick decided to live in his room.. untill forever.'' Raffael nodded. ''So.. whats going on/ >>'' he asked.

"Oh... nothing... just, thinking... that's all..." He said.

''Oh ja? Of what?'' Raffael asked, curious as always.

"I don't know... my brother... I haven't seen him in a while..." Chachi said.

Chachi pulled his spiffeh cell phone out of his pocket, and called his parents.

Then, Chachi hung up, putting his cell phone back in his pocket, and looking at Raffael. "Well... they said he's heading over here... so... I guess we'll see him in a little bit..." Chachi said.

Raffael blinked. ''Should we do some thing for him?'' vocalized. (LMAO XD silly thesaurus)

"I don't know..." Chachi kinda, mumbled.

Then, someone walked in, looking around, then saw Chachi-dearest and ran over. "Chaaaach~~!!" He 'yelled'.

"Ah... hey..." Chachi said, a little surprised. He looked over at Raffael. "That's Raffael, and this is Alton..." Chachi said.

"Are you two a couple...?" He asked, smiling and poking Chachi's cheek. Chachi just blushed.

''That was quick..'' Raffael thought to himself.

''Hii. How are you?'' he asked.

"I'm fine, how about you?" Alton asked, smiling more.

Chachi stood up, and gave Alton a hug.

Meanwhile, Fonzie is sitting by Raffael's feet.

Raffael picked up the kitty and hugged it to him. ''I'm fine~ Do you want to eat some thing? Did you travel long?'' Raffael asked sincerely~

"I ate on my way here. In fact, I was thinking about bunking with Chachi~. And, who's the little kitty...?" Alton asked, walking over and patting Fonzie on his head.

"That's Fonzie... and... you're gonna stay here...?" Chachi asked.

"Of course. I haven't seen you in forever!" Alton said.

Fonzie purred a little bit.
